20 Best Thick Wrapping Paper (2022 Updated)

I wasn’t sure how well this paper was going to hold up as I have never used this brand before. I had a few items that needed some heavy-duty wrapping paper and this paper fit the bill. I love the patterns of each roll and that they come double-sided.

That’s fewer rolls I need to buy just to have a variety of styles and patterns. I do like to switch things up for each kid or family member. The paper is heavy-duty, which was great for a couple of heavy items I needed to wrap.

I loved how easy it was to cut through the paper and wrapping presents was a breeze. This paper was easier to use than some other brands I have tried in the past.

To me gift wrapping is as important as the contents on the box. I like to put thought and care into it, using good quality materials with stunning designs and lovely finishing touches. These American Greetings gift wrapping paper rolls offer just that.

It has a good thickness and weight, does not tear easily not does it rips while cutting, it’s very pliable without getting all wrinkley while handling. The paper is so versatile and convenient. On one side you have a beautiful vintage Christmas design, while on the other, you have a more neutral one that can be used for other holidays and occasions.

Just keep in mind that being a 2 sided Paper it does not have a ruler grid to guide you while cutting. I’m very pleased with the quality of these. All around a great option to give an extra special touch to your gifts.

I bought this 4-roll pack of Christmas wrap on sale. Even at that price, it’s more than discount store wrapping paper, but that’s OK. These rolls are sturdy (I hate when the paper tears as you’re trying to wrap!).

And they are double-sided. I like to wrap each person’s gifts in a different pattern of wrap, so there are no mixups, even if the tag falls off. With this set, I get 8 patterns, not just 4.

I am a middle school art teacher. Similar to most reviews I have read, years ago this paper was quite substantial and invaluable to my art practice. I will stop buying it because of it has become light weight, flimsy, and unsuitable for anything that if required of it in the art room.

I use this at home over a large coffee table, dining room table, even outdoor tables. When friends stop over I put out crayons, markers and colored pencils. It keeps the kids busy and the adults inevitably join in.

Folks tend to doodle and color unconsciously while chatting, and connect their doodles with others. Some of the unintended finished pieces, including food spills, are quite wonderful. This paper is good and heavy.

The paper it’s was thinner than I anticipated but it will do. I got a huge roll to use for pattern making for murals and signs. It will also be great for wrapping artwork when getting ready to ship.

I figured Christmas paper is just Christmas paper. That’s so not true. This Hallmark paper is beautiful and high quality. It’s sturdy and stands up to wrapping any box. The cutting lines are really handy as well.

I highly recommend this gorgeous paper.

This is beautiful paper and now I am spoiled having cut lines on the back! How very nice of this company to add that! So many times I would get frustrated with other wrapping items that had a short roll and wouldn’t cover a large box.

This is a perfect roll for big gifts or a multitude of small ones. I love the beautiful Christmas scene and color as well. I highly recommend this product!.

Adorable patterns that go well together, recyclable material (amazing that we have recyclable wrapping paper options now) and thick material with lines for cutting. Do not change this! It’s perfect!!! Highly recommend, ordering another pack so I don’t run out and so everything can match under the tree.

This paper is perfect for a no-frills earthy sort of Christmas. Hallmarks quality but with a boho feel. I love them! Coupled with natural ribbon…. ahhhhhhhhh nice.

Finally recyclable wrapping paper. Now I don’t have to feel guilty about wrapping presents. The paper is a little thin, but wraps fine and is pretty paper too

Love this wrapping paper! Reversible is great as all my presents can look different but still coordinated. Paper is really nice quality, not thin or flimsy. Only downside to reversible is you don’t have the grid lines for cutting straight.

I suck at this. Luckily once they’re wrapped you can’t tell!.

Got this paper in matte black and matte navy. The paper is pretty & I like the matte finish, though it would also be beautiful in a glossy finish, too. Three reasons for knocking off a star: 1) it’s pricey; 2) the paper is the thickness of a brown paper grocery bag, so it’s difficult to get it to conform tightly enough to the package you’re trying to wrap; 3) Even invisible tape is visible on it, so the finished gift doesn’t come out as pretty as it could.

I hope they can fix these issues because it’s classy paper & makes beautifully presented gifts otherwise.

I have found my go-to wrapping paper!! I have had too many wrapping paper rolls that are not sturdy and tear easily but this one is excellent. Strong and cuts easily. I hope to order in more colors for sure.

This paper is too thick to do tight crisp wrapping. Tried using it for Japanese gift wrapping methods and it just didn’t work as it wasn’t flexible enough. The color was a bit lighter than I expected.

I liked this better than the other gift wrap because it was sturdier and didn’t really rip apart (it was my first time gift wrapping). There are no dotted lines inside, but I would still prefer this over other gift wrap.

All designs are cute in this set, and once you wrap the gift with them they all look really nice.

This paper is so thin and cheap. I kept poking my fingers thru it trying to wrap. Also labels won’t stick to it.

I would not recommend this paper to use for gift wrapping purposes. It would perhaps better be utilized for crafting purposes. It is quite thick and difficult to manage. The quality of the paper is good, the color is beautiful, but just to heavy to be used for the purposes in which I purchased it.

I shopped around online and this was the best value I could find for this amount of paper. I needed it to trace patterns for large outdoor cushion covers. I now have MILES of it left that I will use for giftwrap.

I think it is the perfect weight for that. I think that it is heavy enough not to tear when wrapping it around sharp corners but not so heavy that it won’t make sharp corners while wrapping boxes.

To Whom it may concern, I own a business that dispenses dutiable medical equipment (DME). Durable medical equipment consists of your back braces, knee braces, wrist braces etc. The reason I purchased the 37.

5 sq ft solid brown Jam paper is to utilize it for mailing my DME to patient’s homes. Positives: I wrap the boxes with the Jam paper to conceal the identity of my products and to give it the necessary protection and surface to write down the addresses.

It saves money for me with mailing because it’s lighter than putting it in a box. Negatives: It doesn’t prov the security like a box. If it gets wet the paper and deteriorate easily. I wish the paper was a little thicker in millimeters.

I’m happy with this. I use it instead of gift wrap, drawing by hand a simple picture suitable for the occasion. I like the look of a homemade gift.

I was sent Duck Brand, not JAM. It was perfectly fine, but I returned it as I ended up not needing it. Had to return it online though because the woman at the Staples in Vestal, NY said I could not return in store, even though the packing slip clearly said it could be returned in store.

Someone needs to train the store employees better.

The paper is thick and it did the job. My dislike was it was easy scratched/smudged and the flaws were very noticeable. This came from creasing for the purpose of wrapping or the bottom of the gift not taking a simple slide across a smooth table well at all.

was extremely excited to find a store that had solid black wrapping paper. unfortunately my excitement led me to disappointment when I used the paper to wrap some holiday gifts. the wrapping paper is extremely glossy, which is awesome, however when you fold the paper or attempt to wrap anything even with the lightest touch it creases revealing white cracks.

I am not sure if this is because of the finish of the paper, or the quality but none the less it was a bit of a let down.

This paper is shorter in length than I expected. Not standard roll length but I absolutely love it. Excellent quality. Would buy again. Thick, Doesn’t rip easily when wrapping which is great.

I bought this for my grandson’s birthday gift. This 5 year old cutie loves the color green, and it is not easy to find paper this beautiful shade. I love having cutting lines so I don’t waste as much paper.

We sell items online. Instead of double boxing the items that do not need it, we wrap with this and save weight on shipping. It is heavy enough to use for shipping and light enough to easily wrap things.

Smart brown paper but slightly brittle – i was alarmed to find it tearing on a soft fabric parcel when being processed at PO. Does not hold some adhesive labels either as mine peeled off. Will be OK for boxed parcels and will use Sellotape to make sure labels are firmly fixed next time.

Good grade of paper which will be used to wrap Christmas gifts as the brown paper is recyclable. This gives a traditional look to gifts. Add a roll of ribbon to decorate and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Runs out far cheaper than flimsy Christmas gift wrapping paper. Give it a try!!.

Bought this for my small business to package my goods. Probably more expensive than buying a plastic postal bag, but so much better for the environment and for me, thats more important. Good quality paper and doesnt need double wrapped to make the parcel secure.
