11 Best Throwing Knife Target (2022 Updated)

It arrived promptly, over a week before the estimated arrival. The plastic package was damaged but the knives seem fine. I didn’t open because they were a gift.

With the pic, I had no idea what I would get!!! These are very sturdy knives and the design has not came off at all! My biggest fear was to be eating a steak and the design peel off! Nope! Not sure what’ll happen if they need sharpening, but they definitely came sharp! My husband loved them too! The design quality is as bright and nice as the pic!.

They look great but I don’t like how they’re weighted. The handles are very heavy which makes them fall out of the dish rack, off the plate, etc which is dangerous.

This is the third knife (identical?) I have purchased. The first was many, many years ago and I LOVED using it for several years. Unfortunately, I dropped it on the tile floor and the blade cracked in half.

I ordered a replacement knife and was disappointed with the quality, it was not the same. Furthermore, I weighed it on my kitchen scale, and it was lighter than the original (I had saved the two broken pieces and weighed them).

I have been using it now for a few years but it is not the same, and I can always feel the difference. Before the holiday season last year my niece was over for dinner and she helped me with food prep.

She used the knife and commented how much she liked it. I held that thought and ordered her one as a gift. Lo and behold, the quality again had dipped. The handle was shorter and it felt very awkward in my hand.

I still hoped she would enjoy it, but I never heard a word about it. I think if she really liked it I would have heard something. I am disappointed and will not buy another knife without seeing and holding it in person.

Added this set to an incomplete knife and block set. The smaller knife is a duplicate but that is fine because it is a great all around knife. The shape of these knifes is fantastic for reducing hand fatigue when doing a lot of food prep.

I plan to use the large knife for training my children the proper way to chop food. These knives are the best I’ve seen for learning the rocking method of cutting that prevents the knife from being lifted from the board.

This lends to better control, less fatigue, and all around safer knife skills. Highly recommended.

We’ve had a Henckels knife set in the large block for years. Our COVID lockdown and all the resultant cooking motivated me to look to see what else was out there. Not like I really needed another knife, right? But this prep knife caught my eye and I bought it.

I was a little anxious about the smaller handle (same size as the paring knives) but that has turned out to be really perfect. I do a lot of mincing with a knife and the smaller handle provides just the right amount of clearance between your fingers and the cutting board when you’re doing a rocking mince.

Perfect! The other plus is the super thin blade. It’s great for slicing. Still use all our other Henckels, but now we have another choice when we approach the knife block. Get one!.

I love this knife. Traditional sized chef’s knives are a little to big for me. This one is perfectly sized for my needs. The forged German stainless steel is so sharp. It stays sharp for a very long time and is easy to maintain.

All signs of high quality cutlery. The ergonomic handle is very comfortable to hold at any angle. The handle material texture gives me a strong confident grip when cutting. The slim blade profile gives me great cutting results with little waste.

The comfortable handle makes it intuitive to hold the knife properly so my accuracy is greatly improved as well. It is also very comfortable to hold for longer jobs making it easy to work for an extended time with little fatigue.

Looks like the real thing added blood to make it look more intimidating.

The knife looked exactly like it does in the photos, which was great as I was wanting something just like that for my costume.

The paring knife does a great job! Easy to handle, very sharp edge (be careful), protective sheath is a bonus. Haven’t used the serrated knife as of yet but I’m confident it will work great too. Love the bright colors! I’ve never gone wrong with Zyliss products.

We love these knives. They are very sharp and cut vegetables clean and precise. Six months later, they are still very sharp & cut with precision. They come with their own sheaths which I love. I just bought another set for my daughter.

I have just used these knives for @ three weeks but they meet my needs and provide the diversity for everyday cooking prep. The colors help distinguish the blade type and the covers keep them safer for storage.

FABS cutlery – very sharp and precise. It was time for an update. The other knives from the wedding days 25 years ago weren’t cutting tomatoes. Get this stainless steel set. Wouldn’t you say it’s about time??? Sooooo easy to grab the correct size.

Watch your fingers if your old set was dull. These sharpies don’t spare flesh. Cleans easy by hand or in the dishwasher – but again beware of the blade. The plastic protective covers are GREAT for drawer use.

Excellent purchase! We are very satisfied. I bought this as a gift for my wife who always complains the our knife are not sharp enough. I am also impressed with how sharp these knives are. We like the weight, color coded, each knife has a cover to avoid cutting accidents and the set comes with the most useful sizes.

This set of 5 color stainless still knife is a very good-looking set on my countertop. Sometimes I have friends who come over and ask me where I get it? It has been more than 2 months now since I bought it (11/16/21).

Great everyday use knife But I don’t use the third knife much so it’s like I paid for two, but those 2 are the most used things in my kitchen everyday! No other knife can beat the sharpness and I occasionally I do put them in the dishwasher too , till now no discoloration or peeling! More individual pieces for sale for cheaper prices is what I would be looking for in the future! But highly satisfied, thanks cuisinart!.

We needed a small set of knives during vacation and these fit the bill. They are sharp, priced great, and the colors helped us keep track of them. I also worry about accidental cuts when storing knives so the covers are very helpful.

These are a cute color and I love they have a nice fitting cover so they can be thrown in the drawer safely. They have been run through the dishwasher multiple times per week over about 4 months and are starting to get little scratches in the coating.

We recently upgraded several of our knives to Zwilling Pro. I love all of them but so far this one is my favorite. It is a super versatile tool that is a pleasure to use. Things I like about it: (1) The curved bolster and overall balance of the knife make it very comfortable to use, whether in pinch grip or handle grip.

In pinch grip it becomes a precision cutting tool, while it sometimes makes sense to grip further back for larger chopping jobs, (2) The rocker blade makes it incredibly useful for fine mincing and chopping, (3) The blade is super thin but the curved bolster makes it stiffer than a normal bolster, (4) The hollow edge does improve sticking performance compared to regular fine-edged blades.

In a side-by-side comparison with the 7″ Zwilling Pro fine-edged rocking santoku, the hollow-edge blade is clearly less sticky, though it is important to understand that it will not prevent all food from sticking.

Things I don’t like about it: Nothing. Just note that this is a smaller santoku and you should also have a longer knife for bigger chopping jobs. I have seen this knife bundled with the 7″ hollow-edged rocking santoku for very reasonable prices.

I have been a huge Zwilling Four Star Knife fan for over 30 years. This is my 3rd set. I only needed to replace them because I lost one in a fire. Second, from a flood. I purchased this knife because with the pandemic, I wasn’t able to get them professionally sharpened for a very long time & when I finally did bring them to be sharpened for some reason the blade couldn’t be restored.

That being said. I sent them back to Henckle to see if they could be sharpened correctly. In the interum, I needed a knife so I purchased this. I was very happy with teh knife. although being that I never used this type of knife, it took a little getting used to.

I find the Four Stars to be very comfortable in my hand, nicely balanced & not overly heavy. Henckle is such a wonderful company. After explained to them my issues with my set I sent back to them. They sent me all new knives.

I do a lot of home cooking. Preparation was always my least favorite thing about cooking. I much prefer experimenting with flavors and ingredients, seeing the final product, and most importantly, seeing my guests reaction when something is superb.

This knife has changed all of that. I took a basic knife skills class at a local kitchen shop. A Zwilling chef was there to give the class. I learned so many valuable lessons, one of which was how important what tools are used.

This knife is so versatile, you get the best of both worlds. The rocking motion of a chef’s knife, and the chopping motion of the santoku. A sharp blade is also very important and this is so sharp, very little effort is needed for just about anything you may want to prep.

I am eternally grateful for the class that I took as well as getting to know this fabulous knife. I will use it always.

I bought them to use for my double throwing. Did have to put a sharper edge on them. I used a Accu knife sharpener. Couple of passes on both axes and they would stick deep full blade. Modified handles for my hands.

Used them for the first time the other night and I threw a 87. Highly recommended.

This is a very high quality, throwing axe with a nearly indestructible oak handle. I’ve used several ‘throwing hawks’ with plastic handles and they all soon broke. The axe head is heavy, so it penetrates and sticks well, but the down side is that it chews through wooden targets pretty fast.

Good balance, not too heavy, blade holds up with hard use. Handle is long enough too cut to your own liking. Most axes have to be adjusted to one’s own throwing style, I just had to cut a few inches off the handle to throw at the 12 foot line.

I bought these knives several months ago because they are cute colors and the magnetic strip seemed like a nice off counter and drawer space idea. All of the color on the knives is chipping off and they have become very dull.

For lasting use, I don’t recommend these knives. For fun and colorful in your kitchen, I recommend them.

Great set for the price! I really like the magnetic bar. I did not use the included screws to secure to wall. Instead I purchased 5 pound sticky adhesive and the bar stays securely to the tile backsplash.

The blade colors do wear down in time and use.

I BOUGHT THESE ON A WHIM. I NEED OTHER KNIVES BESIDES STEAK KNIFES. I WAS UNPACKING THE KNIFES AND DROPPED ONE. WELL A PIECE OF THE HANDLE BROKE OFF,. WHAT A BUMPER!. IT IS REPAIRABLE BUT KNOWING HOW CHEAP THEY ARE MADE I DON’T THINK THEY WILL LAST LONG.

THEY ARE SHARP AT LEAST. I WILL KEEP THEM AND HAVE TO HAND WASH THEM TO MAKE SURE I DON’T BREAK ANOTHER. GOOD MAGNET STRIP AND PRETTY COLORS.

This is my first good knife! I mean, i’ve never actually paid good $ for a quality knife before. Some people may not consider $60 to be “good money” for a quality knife, but i do. It’s something i never would’ve considered doing, however, since i began watching Josh Cortis’ YouTube Channel, The Meal Prep Manual (who Zwilling sponsors), and trying my hand at some of his recipes, i realized it was taking me forever to prep.

To the point where i was breaking a sweat from dicing up a few pounds of cooked chicken. I messaged him and eventually came to the conclusion that i was using garbage knives. But i used a chef’s knife the most, so i thought i’d give this brand a try, since it seems to work for Josh.

It’s literally turned my culinary life upside down, in a good way! Prep is no longer a task that loathe. I look forward to it now, knowing that it’s so much easier when you have a knife that slices through any veggie or meat that i need to cut.

I’m into German knives. I like my Wusthof’s and wanted to give Zwilling Pro a go, picking up this 8″ Pro Chef knife along with a 9″ Zwilling Pro Bread knife. It’s definitely got a good edge from the forge and I can’t wait to see how sharp I can make it on my whetstones.

The handle is kinda massive, so it’s better for bigger hands, but I love how they shaped the spine leading into the handle and I adore the added heft. I can rock chop and push chop with ease and I don’t worry at all about cutting myself, I’m comfortable with this knife.

The only issues I do have with the knife are 2 fit and finish things. First, there’s a section of the handle that seems to be melted and either must’ve been improperly molded at the factory or something happened in shipping.

Second, there was a small knick in the blade edge which must’ve been from shipping or poor handling in the store. I got it pretty straightened out on my honing rod so no harm no foul. I’ll take care of it for good on my 1k grit stone.

My new Zwilling Gourmet Paring Knife with Visible Imperfections is the workhorse of my kitchen. It is exceedingly sharp (I did nick myself while washing it right out of the box), and the right size for everyday use.

Professionals will say that the safest knife in one’s kitchen is the sharpest knife, and I have removed several inexpensive, dull or broken knives from my collection and improved my knife skills since this purchase.

The tang runs the full length of the handle, and the grip is well balanced and comfortable. This beautiful instrument cuts cleanly through stringy celery stalks and the tougher leaves of artichoke quarters.

I appreciate the savings afforded me because the knife has Visual Imperfections, but I honestly don’t notice any while I’m concentrating on a recipe.
