11 Best Tiger Handheld Games (2022 Updated)

I’ve been looking around for awhile for a low cost portable game system. This is a perfect alternative to bringing my switch on vacation.

I bought this game because I’m a fan of the Tiger Woods series. I wanted to see just how well the game was developed for the PSP. It didn’t take long to see that Sony had fundamentally made an exact duplicate of the PS2 version, which I love.

The game play flows and operates almost exactly the same, while the menu’s and a few subtle things are different. Just like the PS2 version, you use the joystick to “swing” the club. Your character is fully customizable, and you have quite a few golf courses to choose from.

All-in-all, I am very pleased with this game and would recommend it to anyone. Pros: Fully customizable characters, wide variety of golf courses, simple game play, great multiplayer features Cons: Load times are a bit long.

I have purchased all of the Tiger Woods games for PSP becuase unlike other sports, the courses change with each new golf game. I think this game was an excellent first attempt by EA Sports for the PSP.

The loading between holes and shots is a little annoying and reminiscent of a PS One. However, the graphics are stunning and the gameplay is straightforward. I enjoy playing the skill-builder activities.

This game is bad. Golf games are just bad. They’re almost as boring as playing real golf! The game isn’t expensive or difficult but its not worth the time or effort.

We keep waiting for the fairy dust and pixies — that strange, unexplainable magic that transforms the extraordinary into perfection — to work its stuff on the Wii remote. The controller has flexed its muscles in games like Wii Sports and we’ve been wowed again and again by its speedy accuracy in, say, first-person shooters.

Nowadays, we look at many traditionally-controlled games and fantasize about how much better they might play with Nintendo’s remote. But just as the pointer has showcased its strengths, so have its weaknesses become illuminated.

Take, for example, a project like Wii Sports golf, whose simple presentation is complemented by equally simple controls — a configuration, we submit, that could only succeed on Nintendo’s new console.

That is because the play mechanics which power this rendition of golf are so basic as to be ignored if not for an astonishingly refreshing control method — so pick-up-and-play accessible that you can grip it and rip it, as they say, alongside mom, dad, and maybe even grandma, too.

Intuitive or not, though, Wii Sports golf lacked depth — you couldn’t add spin or hook to your shots, for example — and therefore die-hard simulation seekers looked to EA’s Tiger Woods franchise for the real deal.

Now, the simulation-heavy golfer is here and with it a deeper golfing experience than previously available — no doubt about it. That noted, EA hasn’t stumbled into the fairy dust and the pixies are still nowhere to be found.

The developer has made clever use of the Wii remote and in some ways it does indeed feel like an extension of a real-life golf club. And yet, some old issues persist, from lacking one-to-one maneuverability — Wii Sports has it beat, believe it or not — to some truly arbitrary control inaccuracies, which keep us from declaring this the ultimate videogame golfer.

This is the best Tiger yet. Although the graphics are li new types of play such as One Ball give this game new life from Tiger ’06. The abmited on the PS2 version of PGA Tour ’07, the new features make this game a must have for players on all levels.

The Team Tour mode is a great addition, and the ability to hit power fades off the tee give the player more control over their drives. There are several small glitches in the game, but none that will affect your game play.

If you enjoy the previous games of the Tiger Woods series, I would highly recommend this game. If you haven’t had experienced the Tiger Woods series, this is the best golf game around. A word of warning: it can be highly addictive.

I bought this as I prefer what the game play is like, the options are for me far better than newer versions especially as EA like to change things and not always for the better.

My sons & I used to play UNO when they were growing up. Back then we had physical cards that we played the game with. My sons are now adults living in different states, while health issues keep me home bound, except for doctor appointments.

My younger son sent me this UNO – Official Electronic Handheld Game with Color Screen, thinking it would be a fun way for me to pass the time. It’s been so long since I have played that I had to refresh my memory by seeking out an Uno instruction video on YouTube.

Once I re-learned the rules of play, I removed the game from the packaging and replaced the test batteries with 3 new AAA’s. I love that this game offers 2 skill levels, allowing me to start out with the Beginner’s level.

I also love that the game offers the opportunity to play against up to 3 computer opponents. I tend to lose more often when playing against the computer, but I find it to be a fun way of stimulating my cognitive skills.

One thing I do not like about this handheld electronic Uno game is that the screen is only 2″ x 1. 5″. These dimensions are more than adequate for younger players, but when you are pushing 70 with failing vision, a larger screen would be a huge plus.

I will say that the graphics are easier to read than I expected them to be. The card colors are bright and really stand out against the sky blue background screen. The overall size is compact & easy to hold onto.

That it fits in my purse is another plus. The buttons are well placed and easy to push. Noise output is loud enough to hear, but not so loud that it is disruptive or distracting. I appreciate that the sound can be turned off when I am playing to pass time in the waiting room at my doctor’s office.

If this elderly mom finds enjoyment in playing this UNO – Official Electronic Handheld Game with Color Screen, (and I do); I am certain that anyone over the age of 7 would enjoy it every bit as much, if not more.

Electronic Uno is a handheld device that allows you to play against one, two, or even three computer opponents. You play just like the card game Uno, however it’s now portable allowing you to play anywhere and anytime! There are two different skill levels for beginner and advanced players.

This is great for long car or airplane rides because you can challenge yourself for hours. It’s very simple to play if you know the basic rules to the card game Uno. There are 6 buttons total including: On/Off, Draw, Volume, Enter/Play, and Select (left and right arrow).

I’m glad it has a colored screen which really makes the card colors pop. It includes 3 AAA batteries so it’s ready to go the second you unpackage it!.

One of the best hand held games we have had. I knew when I seen this it would be perfect for road trips with kids. I was amazed when I turned it on. The screen is so clear and bright. It looks complicated at first and it takes you just a few minutes to get the hang of it but after you do it’s a blast.

You can play one computer opponent or three. You want to start out in beginner level till you get the hang of it or I had to anyway and I’v played Uno since I was a kid. It is for ages 8and up so a child younger will have to have help.

In my opinion this game is one that will keep the kids( Or maybe the hubby) Entertained for quite sometime. We love it!!!.

If you love Zelda, you would love this classic version. Not many Zelda fans know about this special release on the Game & Watch; Not only is this game fun, but it is a real collectible. Produced in the early 1980’s, this is a game that is very basic, but addictive.

The game type is one where you have to repeat your actions, but it is extremely fun for a game produced so many years ago. It’s one of the first Electronic HandHeld games out there, and to me, it’s high quality.

The game get’s harder and harder, so don’t think it’s easy to win. You will have a difficult time playing it, and it get’s harder and harder. Has 2 modes, Game A and Game B. First is easy, the second is hard.

The game is really fun, and I say it’s a must have!.

a great investment piece this is a must for any Zelda collector its what started it all. great piece to start a Nintendo collection as well. these will just get harder to find, most will find a collector and it will stay there.

Die Auswahl an Spielen ist für so ein kleines Gerät sehr gut, allerdings stört mich die Tatsache, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt andere Spiele auf dieses Gerät zu installieren, was aber auch nicht so schlimm ist.

Die Akkulaufzeit von dem Game & Watch ist extrem gut. Ich musste mein Gerät nur wenige Male aufladen und ich konnte es einige Tage am Stück benutzen, ohne es aufladen zu müssen. Da nochmal ein dickes Daumen Hoch an Nintendo.

Der Verpackungsinhalt geht auch voll klar, allerdings ist das Ladekabel, dass dem Game & Watch beigelegt wurde, etwas zu klein. Dies ist auch kein Problem, weil das Gerät einigermaßen schnell lädt, und wie gesagt lange durchhält.

Fazit: Ich bin zufrieden mit diesem Gerät und kann es an alle Zelda-Fans wärmstens empfehlen.

This is the third iteration of this game for me. The first wore out from usage. The second is getting along in years. This is the replacement when the time comes.

I have been playing this game since it came out in 1999. Mine is still working but starting to have glitches in the games. After ordering the new one I was worried because I read reviews of others that got them and the batteries were corroded.

This one was perfect. I’m set for another 20 years!!.

I dropped my game and needed a replacement I prefer Radica’s game to other games with freecell

WOW!!! My friends and I used to play this game all of the time and loved it. I am still a gamer and love the incredible graphics, action, and life like story lines associated with games today, but there is always something special about dashes moving around while using some imagination in a game.

I cannot speak to the younger kids, but this is a cheap and fun game for some entertainment. I LOVE IT!!!.

I first owned one of these games a little over forty years ago. I played mine for a few years until I finally irreparably damaged it as kids so often do. When I saw the game on eBay, I just had to have it.

Its still fun to play and it brings back great childhood memories of playing this game with my friends. Im so happy to find this game after all these years.

I played this CONSTANTLY in the 80’s (70’s ?). I actually could not WAIT to play it again! When I received the item, I played a few downs and found the display not as sharp as I remember or that I think it should be.

I can see light behind the screen and it didn’t allow the best view of the plays, though it was still playable. My main problem however, happened when I scored my first touchdown. Instead of the cheesy, beepy, we-don’t-have-the-technology to program anything but ‘ CHARGE!’ for scoring my touchdown, I got some guy (announcer I guess ) yelling ‘ TOUCHDOWN!’.

This may be an improvement, but for me, this took a lot away from my enjoyment. That is a me thing I guess. It’s still a good game for a throwback. I’d still recommend it.

Very boring games… so not a big fan. I also bought My Arcade Pixel Player 8-bit Handheld Game System which is much more entertaining. Is worth to pay a bit more for better games.

i bought these for my cookie party that i am having and so i have not tried them out , it reminds me of back in the day hand games. so i am hoping the boys like them.

Everything was fine. The only thing (which is not that important) is that it said it was blue, but it was yellow

I purchased this Yahtzee for my sons birthday. I have had mine for many years and he enjoys playing it when he visits. Now he has one too. It works great and the product is in great condition. Thank you.

All vintage Yahtzee games work basically the same. However, the shell color on this particular one is a shiny beautiful blue, which, for me, adds to the fun.

Worked perfectly from the git-go. I used these older, handheld games to pick up and play during TV commercials, and in places where I am having just a few minutes here and there to kill. It fits in my shirt pocket, making it easy to carry.

I don’t like smart phones. I am of another generation. Now I find it is a conversation starter when I pull my “ancient” game out and begin playing.
