20 Best Tights For Men (2022 Updated)

I got a size large for my husband who is 6 foot and 180lbs. He wears a large in athletic apparel. The tights were too tight around his legs. I tried them on because they looked more like my size. I am 5’4 and 165lbs.

I typically wear a large in women’s athletic wear and like high waisted apparel. These tights fit great for me. The fabric was breathable, comfortable, and durable although it was see through. The fit was exactly what I look for and flattering.

For men I would recommend sizing up for a comfortable but fitted look. The material was breathable and comfortable. I could wear the tights with a long shirt for lifting, running, or doing errands. I could also easily wear them under shorts or sweats for an extra layer or to prevent chafing.

Really like the Impact running tights. Left pocket rides below hip bone. Right pocket zippered to keep small wallet secure. I wear a 34×30 pant, the large fits best, but is a little long for me. I’d also prefer a central seam versus todays design with a panel as I don’t wear shorts over top.

Panel looks a bit like long underwear. Perfect for 40 to 75 degree morning runs.

My go to tights for colder runs. They are a thick tight which I found perfect for temperatures ~45°F and below. The pockets on the leg are great, one pocket is zipped (I use for keys and my iPhone X) and the other is open (I used for gels).

The leg zip sits off to the side of your Achilles which is comfortable. I find the tights work best when the pockets are positioned directly on the side of the leg, initially, I had the leg twisted slightly which placed the pocket to the rear of my leg which felt a little awkward when running.

However, after a small tweak to the position the pocket and its contents were almost unnoticible.

These tights are of super high quality. when you put them on you know that you are getting what you paid for. I particularly love NB tights. The last one I had for 9 years and managed to damage the drawstring after all these years.

I then thought let me spend less money on off-brand tights and it simply was not worth it. I went through about 4 or 5 in less than a year. So here I am, I decided to shell out the $ for some quality NB tights.

You will not be disappointed.

These are comfortable and the fabric is smooth so has a nice feeling to it. I’ve worn them around the flat all afternoon. They look great on, why be modest eh? I was apprehensive they may be restrictive compressed but they are not, rather comfortably fitted, tight but not excessively compressing.

My one complaint is I have experienced slight pinching behind the knee where the fabric can gather. not a reason not to buy but an area that could be improved. At 176cm the large leg length was perfect for me.

If over 180cm large leg length may too short or that may be the style?.

Under Armour typically makes decent clothing, but very disappointed in these leggings, They fit tight, and in mild weather don’t do the job of keeping my legs warm, so definitely not worth purchasing for the colder weather.

The leggings fit tight, and move down from the waist with movement like bending down. Not comfortable fit, and actually feel as though they restrict circulation of the lower legs. Definitely not worth the price.

Arc’teryx Rho LT leggings are SOOOO much better and worth the extra price. Not buying UA again.

Under Armor 4. 0 Cold Gear is a proven base layer that actually works for the civilian population. The shirt and pants fit very snug and they are very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.

I am an avid hunter/shooter and spend a lot of time outside no matter the weather conditions. I spend time hiking and shooting in freezing temperatures and I can do this with little discomfort due to my Under Armour 4.

0 Base Layer. I highly recommend all of the Under Armour Base Layer Technology. The Cold Gear gives you options on what level of cold gear you may need. They range from 2. 0 up to 4. 0 rating system.

I am sure they even have a base layer 1. 0, but I was not sure at the time I wrote this review. If you work or play in the cold weather and you have not found how to stay warm, I strongly urge you to give the Cold Gear a try and I know they are more expensive than most, but you get what you pay for and that is the same here.

The compression on these tights is great; my legs feel decent the day after 90 minutes of football. What doesn’t feel great are the stirrups. Horrible design, you will wake up with aching feet because they apply too much pressure along the seams.

Absolutely useless. So now I have $150 tights, with these ridiculous floppy sock-looking things out in front, because I don’t use the stirrups. Pretty lame when I’m wearing them during the day. The ache is deep, right across the bottom of the arch of your foot, and certainly enough to ruin any rest you’re planning on.

The reason you don’t experience this anywhere else on the tights is that it’s one whole system, no seams save for the waistband. I would not recommend buying these until they do a product redesign.

So I’m physically disabled and have mobility issues. 3 days after my pair arrived I had to get a cortisone shot and it turns out I’m allergic to it. Oops. Anyway so my entire body got massively inflamed, swollen, and held so much fluid it was physically painful.

The compression on these leggings was consistent and comfortable enough that for 2 days straight it was the only thing I could wear that provided relief. It was so successful at managing that flare of pain that I’m planning to buy more pairs after next pay and have enough to wear every day in case of emergencies! If you’re also physically disabled and need a good compression garment that goes over the entire leg and hip, this is the product to go for.

My only hope is that the company starts producing even more sizes as I’d love to get some of my friends in them who suffer from fluid retention issues and can’t fit the largest size!.

Overall I am very happy. These are the second pair of recovery tights I have owned from 2xu and I would most likely buy from them again. I am very happy with them overall, the only thing I don’t like are the stirrups.

I guess they’re there to give more comprehensive coverage which makes sense but they end up being really uncomfortable. The stirrups have stretched a little after some wear but I am very close to just cutting the stirrups off they’re that uncomfortable, I just don’t want to ruin the rest of the tights by doing so.

Ultimately, from the ankles up, these are 5/5 but 1/5 below the ankle. If when it comes time to replace these and I can get them without the stirrups, I would 100% buy them. If they only come with stirrups I personally would look elsewhere first.

I am of average height and weight with 91 waist. I recently tried on Nike Pro tights at one of the Rebel stores. The size M was impossible to wear as it was too small to reach my waist. I then tried size L and it was much too tight around my waist.

As the store did not have an XL in stock they graciously gave me details to order an XL online with no delivery cost. It arrived in just a couple of days but the elastic waist band is still too tight and uncomfortable.

I am now trying to stretch the elastic band over a round object in the hope it will expand by a centimetre or two. The product is made in Sri Lanka. The supplier needs to label their products appropriate to the Australian market.

I will be very reticent to order clothing online again.

After 1 wash and about 3 wears the material already starts to rip at seams, especially around the buttocks area if you are doing squats or lunges, jumps, anything that involves lower body movement. I can see this being used for about 1 season and then thrown out.

Material is really thin which is a good thing to keep me cool on workouts, but the downside is that if you’re moving a lot or just have a more athletic gluteus build then these will def rip after a few workouts/washes.

I would say they probably won’t survive a whole season of training. I bought a couple to switch between so I don’t wear them out as quickly, but it’s still concerning that the quality is this low. Would not recommend to be worn too often.

5′ 10″ 160 lbs size M.

I have a pair of Nike Pros, older model and wanted a couple of more. The present pair is a men’s medium and all of the other running tights/leggings I own are mediums. So, I ordered a medium, 2 pair.

These are tiny. I had significant difficulty getting my size 10 foot through the leg bottom and the waist wouldn’t stay up on my 32″ waist. I admit I thought something would rip out while trying to put these one but nothing did; they seem to be very well made.

Going to try a find a large somewhere though Dicks doesn’t have any. If you’re about 5’9” 165# get a large.

These compression tights are very good. As advertised, they have for me reduced muscle oscillation during intensive exercise. this has made my running experience more enjoyable allowing longer endurance running possible.

I would highly recommend the SKINS product.

Extremely comfortable. The material and fit is excellent and provides support. I have a bad leg due to DVT issues and these provide great support while working with my Sports Physo and when doing exercise.

The sizibg was perfect and the fit and feel is great.

This is my first skins long tights purchase. I have used it for about a month now and I love it. I really feel the difference during and after playing tennis when I wear the compression tights. Ordering it via Rebel was so easy (and no shipping cost).

Super soft and great quality. Medium was too tight which is my normal running bottom size so it’s fits slightly small. Had to return for a large. Only issue with these is the hidden ankle zipper has a floppy metal pull and doesn’t stay folded like the self locking kind.

Pants a quite tight and don’t love the ribbed knees. Other tights I have are spandex like material, these are slightly diff material and quite tight. I am tall and lean so am surprised at how tight they are.

Worn these a couple of times and they are great like all on products !

I’ve been wearing these the past year for running in the medium temps of 38 to 55F. I tend to overheat so reach for thinner tights on cold days. I am 5’11” and 163lbs and got medium. The fit is great with the right amount of support and stretch.

The pocket is large enough for my iphone X with otterbox case without bounce. I wear them with shorts above as they are thin by design. They aren’t meant for freezing temps. The waist holds up without sagging even for my skinny backside.

The quality is surprisingly good for the price as I find them comparable to brands I own $100 more expensive. I bought the blue and like that they’re made mostly from recycled materials. After many washes, they show no signs of wear.

The main reason I chose this product is due to being active outside in the elements, especially during the colder months of the year. This made sense , I did notice that they fit a little bit tighter than a Medium that I am used to but that could be due to different variables during production and or just a fluke.

The feel and the comfort were both amazing and what I expected and would be accustom to for compression tights. I found that they shielded me quite nicely from a brisk wind and managed to keep my body heat in check while retaining enough to keep me warm.

I would highly recommend this product for any outside conditions, by themselves or as a layer depending on the weather.

Whether I’m doing power walking or other workout activities I need compression tights that fit very snugly as well as provide full coverage and privacy. Well, these tights do both for me. My test as to how opaque tights are is to sit down in a chair and then bend my leg all the way up to my knee.

If I can’t see leg hair or other skin details, they are opaque. These tights pass the test, and yet are light enough for summer wear. Highly recommended.

I bought these in anticipation of exercising outside during the winter. When I tried them on, I was so disappointed! First off, the ankle openings were oddly small and I could barely get my feet in! When I finally got them on, there was a weird seam right behind the knees that was super constricting.

The waist was loose but there is a drawstring. I really wanted to like these, but ended up returning them.

I order this item on the October 3rd I did not receive it until October 14th. I paid extra for 3 day shipping so we could have this item for our pink out football game. My son didnt get to wear them and will now have to put them up hopefully for next year.

If he doesn’t out grow them. It was a waste of money I did not have. I called several times and received an answering machine.

I love Sleefs designs they have some of the best on the market. But some of their products fit a little snug XXL in these fit more like XL. But besides that I love the product. Been looking for pink tights everywhere and they finally got them.

I got another pair of the baseball design tights and those fit great. So I don’t know what happen with these. Overall good purchase.

Soft fabric, just the right amount of stretch and yet firm fitting, and I love the cut. It’s much more form fitting than other brands I’ve tried. That makes it my go to tights for running, working out, or just as a base layer on cold days.

Excellent fit, love the countoured pouch; however they do not provide compression as they are very light. I just wear them as is with no shorts over them. I love the feel.

Love the fit of these. No cankles here and so the bottom fit great. I love the fabric. I bought 2 of these actually. Great for everyday black leggings

A convenient, comfortable product. I’m thrilled. Refreshing. I’ve been running for a long time and now I have a minimum of sweat. The quality of the product is high. For me, this product adds fun to running.

This makes me super happy.

Buying good quality compression tights usually is an issue I find. However, these specific Reebok tights have above average quality. They fit tight enough but not too tight and after a couple of washes, they seem to hold up in that level of tightness.

I would suggest getting your normal jogger size and or a size bigger if you are looking for maximum comfort, but if you are daring enough try a smaller size for extra compression. I usually wear these under my Reebok shorts as both are pretty light in weight.

I use these for leg day at the gym and or for running (usually gives me a great blood flow in my calves).

These are the best tights for your money! They feel so comfortable and high quality, hug your legs perfectly, and also make your legs look great. Perfect for the gym or going for runs. I might have to buy a few more pairs.

These compression tights are perfect for my husband. They fit him really well and are made to size. They offer great support by keeping everything in place. They allow him to be flexible but supported.

He likes that they are a ventilated material so that he is able to have air flow. He prefers to wear them under shorts. They are made of good quality material and they wash nicely in the washer. I hang dry them to keep the material nice.

They dry quickly both after a wash and after a workout. My husband has never worn any garment like this before, but he is hooked on them now. He really likes the extra support they provide. Looks like I will be buying more.

I was really looking forward to trying these compression tights. They look great on the body and has the perfect compression on the legs. I would’ve said they were perfect except the waistband was a little too tight.

I’m usually a small and these were a medium. After about 30 minutes of wearing them, my waist felt too constricted and it was starting to hurt. The look is great and can be worn by themselves. However, because of the tight waistband, I would not wear them for working out.

These have been great for my workouts. It’s a tight and comfortable fit that stretches with you. It gives very good support, it will keep in place. The material is breathable and absorbs sweat keeps me feeling fresh during my workout.

It washes well and dries quickly. These tights are absolutely perfect to wear during a workout.

Love these leggings for running. The only leggings I’ve found that fit well, hold everything in(!) and have great pockets! The side pocket fits a phone easily and the zipped pocket is great for a bank card and keys.

I’ve even managed to fit in a small water bottle before in the side pocket! Sizing is true if a little on the generous side but I don’t like things too tight. While these aren’t the cheapest of leggings, they wash and wear very well and are very comfy with no scratchy seams.

I’ve had Ronhills before and they’ve lasted years!.

These running capri tights are amazingly comfortable. The pocket in the leg is good for parkrun bar codes, phones, gels for half marathon too etc. They are a very good option for long distance as they wick better than the core ones, and act like a second skin.

Although the core ones are brilliant I use those for training. I love how they recycle plastics too into these tights. For me that’s a plus. We deffo need more of that. I have one of the revive tech in each long tight, capri and the short.

These are perfect. Comfortable, not too thin not too hot, great fit/shape and I love the details and pockets on them too. Admittedly Ronhill isn’t trendy or fashionable but they are designed for functionality and will last the duration.

Have many Ronhill leggings now and they get washed all the time and hold their shape and stretch to fit my constantly changing shape so I always know they are worth their higher price.

This was my first pair of leggings, so I am not sure how they compare to others. They are comfortable and kept me warm. My only issue is that they are starting to tear around the draw string after about 3 months.

This is after some pretty heavy use (2 per week min).

These were a perfect fit, warm, flexible and comfortable but they had to be returned. They split in the middle after wearing them three times! This product should be withdrawn at the least, if not recalled! That’s totally unacceptable quality.

So I run a fair bit and so far these leggings are still going and iam into double digit runs with them so far. They are really warm sometimes a little to warm if your doing some distance, I guess my only negative comment is there are no reflective patches so running at night could be an issue but wear a torch lol but let’s not beat around the bush for the price there a bargain !!!.

These tights are form-fitting, but are not “tight” or binding, and move with me very well. Not to mention quite comfortable. There is a soft inner layer that reminds me of some of the lightweight base/long underwear layers, but the two layers move as one.

This makes the tight perfect for cooler weather where just a polyester/nylon type tight would not be enough, but can also act as a warmer base layer under jeans or hiking pants. I am 6’1”, 32 inseam, 31 waist, 180 lbs, and the medium fits perfectly.

These tights are comfortable, well-made, and relatively thick, but the wind cuts right through them. Below 20 degrees F, I’ve had to add a second layer to my crotch to ensure that I don’t lose feeling from the cold (not a pleasant experience).

Kind of disappointing for a “peak mission” tight. I tend to only wear tights on the coldest days, so I’m currently debating whether the good outweighs the bad and keeping them vs returning them. If you wear tights anywhere above 25 degrees F then I would recommend with no reservations.

If for some reason, I stop wearing the shirt in a few years, I know that I can bring it (in good condition) to Patagonia’s Worn Wear program and another Patagonia enthusiast will be able to enjoy it for many more years.

I will enjoy the shirt like others that I have and still wear after decades of use. I plan to wear this particular shirt when I visit the Wildlife reserves in Costa Rica. I’m 5’11” 175lbs. Size medium fits well. Rowed in 40 degree weather and kept me warm enough. Also XC ski in 30 degree weather. The waist band is comfortable. Good stitching. Recommend.

Purchased solid (black) tights for use during cold weather training. Sizing/fit was perfect (medium for 5’10”/158 lbs) and warmth level was exactly what I expected. Boathouse continues to exceed my expectations!.

Purchase a pair of tights for my son. XXL. They seem to size small.

Think this might be my 10th purchase! I’ve been wearing these now for years. Easily the best you can buy. short material feels luxurious and is light weight. The leggings are a good fit. The combo of short and leggings is perfect for a warm yoga practice as the leggings give that extra grip.

Really like these. Very comfortable. And look great. Wish the tights had some more compression and an interior phone pocket though.

it came pretty much crampled ( probably I’ll use steam to smooth it out) Fabric for inner tights a bit thinner then I expected . But still I satisfied. Fit great Comfortable , lightweight

I’m really comfortable wearing tights without shorts on top. Maybe it’s the equestrian in me. I haven’t broken them in yet but I’ll be using them for camping, hiking, mountaineering, weightlifting, & yoga.

i also love the color. Very rugged outdoorsy colorway. I also love that the pocket is on the right side. I own other brands of tights & the pocket is on the left.

Very comfy. Quality feels high. Really great for climbing as they allow full range of movement. Plus it’s nice someone makes good quality mens tights so I need not order from Europe which can be costly and time consuming.

The elastic around the ankles was FAR too loose. My ankles are normal size. Tight has unique color, material was soft, but it just doesn’t fit like a tight should around ankles
