What I received was a little darker than this, but I still liked it. It had a very slightly different brick pattern. I am using it anyway. It looks textured which is really nice, but it is smooth. It has been easy to apply and work with, and did well as I moved furniture around on it.

Ordered 10 boxes and they sent me 8 boxes and 4 single pieces. In addition to getting short-changed, the tile was so thin, and the actual colors in the tile did not match the photo.

So far, we are very pleased with how this tile is working out in our new bathroom renovation. It installed easily and is of excellent quality. Our contractor sealed it before installing, then again after grouting.

We used 1/16 spacers with Mapei grout biscuit color for a mostly neutral, vintage style bathroom. Our home dates to the 1950?s so we liked the reference to terrazzo floors used in that period. That said, this tile is timeless and will dress up and work with just about any style.

It is not slippery, and kind of grips the small area rug we are using, unlike ceramic tile, which can be slippery. I highly recommend this tile.

We just renovated our bathroom and I was having a very hard time finding real terrazzo tile that was affordable. I ordered samples from other companies only to find out the tile has a ‘terrazzo’ print.

It looked terrible in person. I live in Atlanta and the other companies I was considering ordering real terrazzo from were either speciality companies in California or overseas. The shipping was more than the actual product.

I found TileBar had just added their terrazzo collection and ordered multiple samples. I went with the kashmir option. It’s beautiful on our bathroom wall. I want to add it to the rest of the bathroom now.

The kashmir sample looks white but if you put it up next to a white wall, you will see it’s more of a cream color. Also, like all true terrazzo tile, it is heavy. I am very happy with this tile. The shipping was fast and the packaging was very good.

It came on a crate that was padded and wrapped securely. I will order from them again.

Love this flooring. I got a number of samples in and went with this one. It was a great choice especially for the price. It was easy to install, and is really soft to walk on (especially in comparison to the concrete that is underneath).

This LV Plank Flooring feels so nice on bare feet! We installed it in our bathroom and it is great!

I purchased this tile in the black, and whilte/gray colorways. Both had advantages, and disadvantages. This tile has a good feel and look, and each tile has the exact pattern pictured. EVERY TILE, no variations.

If you’re picky at all, keep that in mind when putting it down. Its flexible, making it easy to make semi-precise cuts. Which also leads to 2 of the problems I have with the tile: because of the flexibility, its kinda not flat, and the adhesive isn’t great, leading to tile that isn’t really sticking that well, and when the light hits it you can see the tile is a little bowed.

Since the tile has been installed in a closet, it’s not a huge deal, but in high traffic areas, it might be.

I read all the reviews before ordering this tile. The stickability, if that’s even a word, is extremely poor. They do not stick. fortunately I had epoxy left over from part of the project I was doing and that helps.

they are not seamless. I can definitely tell where one square leaves off and the other one starts but as I am not tiling a floor that’s particularly visible, it’s not going to matter. They’re going on the inside floor of cabinets and will only be seen when going into the cabinet.

They provide what I was looking for them to provide, that being a surface other than an old linoleum in a refurbished cabinet. Would I put them on the floor absolutely not.

I’m an interior and kitchen designer and I was looking for a statement backsplash tile in a certain shade of purple for my client. This tile completely hit the mark! The movement of the pattern is simply gorgeous and the tile is very substantial.

It’s a premium level product and worth the investment I believe. Can’t wait to see it installed!.

Tile is absolutely gorgeous. Upon arrival we began to wonder if we shouldn’t mount a tv on that wall after all, covering all that amazing tile. We may just buy more and redo a bathroom with it.

A couple of years ago, I made an in-store purchase of a group of these to cover our concrete front porch. The function has been good and I’ve received several compliments from visitors.

This time I ordered from Max Whs for delivery. Although the product is the same, these arrived with a lot of breakage in the plastic grids which essentially hold each tile together. About 20% of them, basically those on the outsides of each 6 pack, had some level of breakage and therefore had to go in the cut/trim pile.

Am happy with product overall but the packaging could be done much better to prevent damage during shipping & handling.

You’ll need a very level platform/deck to get a good result with these tiles. Tiles are easy to cut and install. I bought 96 tiles, three of which I put aside because of surface imperfections. I then used these tiles in spots that needed to be cut or weren’t noticeable.

Also you will find the odd plank that doesn’t fit as snugly in the tile as the rest, and wants to slide a little bit when you step on it the right way. Hard to notice this until you’re done. Might want to have some woodscrews handy to solve this problem.

All in all I am pretty happy with the results but I do feel this product is slightly over priced. If you could get these tiles on sale for $4. 50 or less, I’d say 5 stars. But at 5. 70, I rate the tiles 3.

The color tone of walnut varies and I saw the variation when I was installing them. I went back to the store and tried to select some extra tiles to match the same colour tone. I also returned some extra tiles.

Back and forth, still ended up with some color variations. Disappointed.

As a DIY we did not feel the product was ‘easy’ to install. The instructions indicate to ‘tap’ with a soft mallet to lock the tile in. The tiles did not ‘lock’ in with a tap. A lot of tiles broke when attempting to ‘tap’ them in to lock.

The end product does not look seamless. There are a lot of showing seams. Very disappointed with the end result. Would not recommend this product.

My sales person was awesome and so incredibly helpful, I shop at NFM for quality goods but keep coming back because of the great people!

I have few months to enjoy our new flooring. It’s beautiful, but there are definitely a few lessons worth passing along. We installed ourselves. We have imperfect concrete that isn’t ideal but we used a work around using 1-Step DMX.

1) Lighting + Color Selection = Results may vary. When we first revived the flooring we were still in the middle of our remodel. The lighting had been selected and installed and when we compared the photos to what we saw in person outside, it’s a beautiful match.

Our new LED (90 cri) lights just aren’t awesome at reproducing all of the warm tones of this Sandstone. They look like a slightly more tan version of the titanium under our lights. Which is fine. The rich textures and patterns on the tiles are still beautiful in our space, but I highly recommend ordering a full sample pack and looking at it under your lights before you make your purchase.

2) USE A MASK and Cut outside to avoid breathing plastic dust – I used a compact circular saw with a Performax 4-1/2″ turbo Rim Diamond Blade to cut tiles for our 450 sq ft project. The dust produced is considerable and I definitely don’t think the human body should be breathing this in.

Also. be a guardian of the planet and vacuum or sweep up and vacuum as much as possible. I can’t imagine this is a great bi-prroduct that should end up in the storm sewer (and potentially into our watershed).

3) Old and Uneven floors – We have a 1949 bungalow with a 2012 drain tile around the interior perimeter of our basement. This means, we have a pitched floor sloped to a primary drain in our laundry room and the drain tile trench had new concrete which created a steeper pitch at the last 16 inches of concrete.

(See photo). So in order to level out the floor, we would effectively need to spend a ton on concrete leveler. On top of that because our floor was originally poured before they used vapor barriers, we noticed we still have SOME limited moisture that comes through the concrete.

The best option in most cases would be to seal the concrete with primer, but because we didn’t have the stomach to grind our floors (to get rid of all the previous tile glues) on the floor and then seal it.

We opted to use a Platon Subfloor called DMX 1-Step LVT. This is a great introduction to the product and why you might want to use this over DMX’s other product. https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=UuZz7xoXMOc.

We also chose this mostly because of the potential moisture issue more than anything else but it also reduced how much we needed to scrape the floors of the old tile glues. the 1-Step It’s tested and rated for subfloors and it literally saved the day in a lot of ways in our installation.

Basically though it was not a “cure all” for all the variety of imperfections and changes in slope through our floors but it seemed to bring it within the range of tolerance for what NewAge Composite Tile can handle.

Al that said, we do have some tiles that “pop” when you walk on them because we did not have optimum conditions for the install. It’s nothing visibly noticeable and it’s acceptable for us but still unfortunate.

So what’s the lesson? The older your home is, the more preparation may be needed for success. 4) Replace Tiles with broken locking edges immediately!! The locking edges are integral to the tiles remaining connected.

Right. duh. but on occasion these can be a little fragile and break off (in my case, specifically 2 tiles out of 450sf). I didn’t notice the 2nd break until I was MUCH further along. (like two rows of 20′) I noticed a micro gap that I opted not to undo the other rows for, but in the end I wish I had.

I’m hoping to find a solution to this for perhaps some kind of epoxy or glue that I can surgically insert into that gap, but I don’t know. I can’t use the traditional replacement method of cutting out the tile and replacing because of the DMX 1-Step.

5) Doors!. Remove trim around the door and you’ll have a much easier time installing the tile. You will want to cut the trim with a reciprocating tool first or you’ll need to measure and trim later. 6) We had a sump-pump that we still needed access to.

We were able to cut an access panel in the tiles and connect the panels to a cut circle of plywood. We did this with just a jig saw. The tiles hold together nicely, but you can use a screw from underneath the plywood to secure it to the plywood in a couple locations.

7) Open and sort tiles into similar patterns to layout and preview before you install. Finally, We still do hear some clicking but it isn’t horrible. If I spent some time it could probably be solved by some good taps with the rubber mallet.

However because our subfloor isn’t perfect, this is bound to happen. We don’t blame the product.

I was originally looking to install cabinets in the garage, but the project snowballed and it lead to texturizing and painting the walls/ceiling. Couldn’t just leave the concrete slab just by itself, so I was looking for flooring as well.

Between doing epoxy (metalic or chips), or doing the vinyl planks; I ended up with the slightly more expensive option: New Age. The benefit of this is that I can work on parts of the garage at the time instead of having to vacate the entire area in case you wanted to paint / epoxy it.

Looking for options, New Age was the only company that offered LVT flooring that they will stand behind and warrant for 5 years when installed in a Garage. Yes, Floor and Decor, Home Depot, or Lowes do not carry a product that they will warrant for garage installations.

Technically, it is “drop-in” flooring and not “click-lock” flooring which many of the Home Improvment stores offer. While the same installation applies, you use a tapping block and get the alignment of the tile correct; then you tap on the tail end to “lock” it in place.

In the shipment, there were only 2-3 LVT planks that had manufacturing errors (e. g. a notch or a dent). I believe this is a very low error ratio, and you’ll learn to use these as an end-piece as you will need to cut pieces to length on either end.

These LVT planks do scratch so keep your tools off this while installing it (knives, etc). Also, be vary that dropping large items (e. g. I dropped my router and had to replace that board during the installation) will cause a dent.

Each LVT has about 9mm of plastic layer that do tolerate a lot (like park a car on top of it), but they aren’t dent proof. Just want to set your expectations righ there. I love the look of the new garage floor, and am excited to enjoy this for years to come.

Great product! This floor was fairly easy to install. You definitely need a saw to cut the planks. We have had it installed for about a month now and it is holding up great. Dropped items on it have not caused scratches or dents! Feels great walking around barefoot.

Probably should have leveled the floor a little more before install but we laid it over asbestos tile and it still went in without any issues and there is no creaking.

We were excited when the tile arrived. It’s well-made and thick. Just what we wanted but in the space it didn’t fit the dimensions without cutting into the tile too much so we didn’t use it. Otherwise, hard purchase to return.

It would have looked great!.

The tile is 4 “tiles” together making up one large tile approx. 18×18, so when I ordered a sample, that is what I expected to get, a full tile. All they send is one-quarter of the full tile. Ridiculous! I wanted to see what the fake “grout” lines looked like so I could decide if I wanted the tile.

Wasted my money on a useless sample!.

Purchase went smoothly. Delivery time was longer than I expected. An important message to future buyers: the color of the tile is not a true Sage green. I did buy a sample tile, but it took me over a year to finally find this color that I rushed my decision.

I love my new kitchen floor, but the color could be better.
