20 Best Tingle Tanning Lotion (2022 Updated)

Its a really good tanning lotion. And is supposed to have a tingle. And I couldn’t say I felt any. Amd that was a disappointment. Think that it needs to improve in that area. Other than that. This was a good lotion.

Just feel I didn’t get what I expected and paid for.

Be careful ca :)use this is s slight tingle lotion, Was little too harsh than what I was use to but once I warmed up a few times it got me a great color. I recommend using this as your second lotion for new tanners :).

Get really hot which I Love. But be sure you get it on even are you will have dark lines. It is a good value for the money. Really nice just be careful when you put it on. It gives you a beautiful tan.

Didnt know too much about the brand but thought Id give it a try for such a great price I got mine for. Great quality tingle lotion, spreads nicely, and smells good after, not like some tingle lotions that smell like tingle lotions.

If you like tingle this is the one to get it also gets really really warm when you put it on. Immediately after I put it on it really got super warm and just kept it in warmer but it gives you an intense color and I really like it and the price is amazing I go tanning a lot so I’m pretty brown anyways so when I put this on.

Didn’t expect a lot but was very surprised I got really dark and didn’t think I could get any darker I recommend this highly.

My review from iamtan. com 06/17/2011 I like this lotion a lot and will be getting it. I liked the scent its supposed to be “Fresh Pomergranate”,to me it was punchy/citrusy. I had some ato but nothing unbearable.

this is one I’d use when I know I’m gonna be home after tanning. Overall its nice and moisturizing and I felt slight warming and the bronzers in this are pretty good. Hours after tanning and using this my husband came home complimenting me on how nice and dark my tan was! 5/5 stars.

First time using this product and I am very satisfied with Black & Tan! I would recommend this to all who wants to try it out. I’ve only used it the 5 times I’ve been tanning and I’ve noticed from the very 1st time I’ve used it.

Delivers instant deep bronze color and lasts for days. Does not streak unless you don’t rub it in. Leaves skin feeling deeply hydrated so no tightness after tanning. Works better at getting you dark fast than any other I have tried over the years.

my boss gave me a bit of this to try bc ive never tried a tingle lotion before. and i love it! i absolutely have to buy my own!!! when you first put it on, your skin gets red like a tomato. you’re gonna look nuts but its fine.

after tanning the redness calms down; the sensation doesn’t linger for more than, lets say, 20 minutes. turning the fans in the bed on high helps. i usually tan a few times a week so im consistently the same color, but after i used this my boyfriend duly noted, “did you go too hard in the tanning bed today?” which tells me everything i need to know about if the lotion worked to get me darker or not lol.

Love this lotion! Please be advised that the “tingle” increases the circulation of blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin, which affects the production of melanin (the pigment that gives your skin its color) in the body.

You WILL BE RED UP TO 1 hr AFTER TANNING. This is not an allergic reaction. This tanning lotion is one of my top 5 I will always reach for. If you are not an experienced tanner – I would not recommend as the tingle is intense.

I absolutely love this tanning lotion. It wasn’t too hot where my skin itched for hours afterwords but let me tell you! It got me DARK!!! I didn’t have to go back to tanning salon for like 3 days and I’m going to go today and try another tingle tanning lotion by devoted creations.

I was disappointed. I’ve got a good base tan. I’ve been going to tan 3x per week sometimes 4. Here very recently. I’ve been going 5 weeks now. I love love love love hot tingle lotion without bronzers.

Someone suggested this. It claims to get you 3 shades darker and 3x hotter. ummm no. I didn’t notice a grand difference and it was not that hot. also it did not have that much tingle to it so if you are scared of that.

don’t be. I wouldn’t use this is I was very fair skin because it did get “-warm”. I didn’t get red. It might be good but just jot hot enough for me. If you like hot tingle lotions like I do. this won’t be strong enough.

I was VERY skeptical at 1st with this lotion being the lower price it is, BUT OMGoodness this lotion is hands down AWSOME! After just 1 session you truly do have GREAT color. I don’t/didn’t find it to have much tingle factor (it may be because I tan often though) which I wasn’t really that bummer about considering how well the product worked.

I would HIGHLY recommend this lotion to any tanner looking to get a good color FAST! I’m on my 3rd bottle so far and will definitely continue to buy this one!.

If you have never used a tingle before, I recommend buying a sample pack before buying a big bottle. It did intensify my tan. I however did not like the feeling of the tingle. I have used other White 2 Black products and loved the result.

It smells good and the package was in great condition. Tingle is not for me. I do not down this product!! If you like tingle this is for you!.

I would recommend this lotion for someone who is trying a “tingle” for the first time. If you have never used a “tingle” lotion before, only put it on your lower legs to get a sense of how it feels. When you tan with it, the heat of the lotion will increase as you tan.

I love Cherry Bomb tanning lotion. This Tingle lotion gets your tan bumped up to the next level. It smells delicious, like actual cherries. The only thing I wish was different was the after effect. After you tan with this lotion, it is a bit prickly.

I don’t mind the warming sensation that lasts as well but prefer less prickly when it comes to “tingle” tanning lotions. This is a regular lotion that I love using all the time!.

I thought this would have a lot more tingle than it actually does. Its a nice lotion but if you have used a hot tingle lotion you probably wont even feel this one but for the first minute and its so light you may not feel it at all.

Im very familiar with tingle lotions. I had never heard of this one before. I mixed it with my bronzer the other day & it did decent, didnt think much of it. Today, I used just this & I am soooo red and tingly! I LOVE IT! Dont get it if you dont like tingle, but I happen to love it.

I have never used a cream that has worked so good alreay and ive used this 4 times and the results are great, cant wait to see how this tan turns out. Definitely worth every penny.

Great tingle, lovely smell, gives great colour and continurs to develop throughout day and night. Would only recommend if already have a good base tan and do not use on face.prob best cream

If you want to feel like you are on fire !…. use this my skin literally turned scarlet didnt even attempt to go on the subbed! 3 cold showers later and it eventually calmed down… tingle my foot!!

When I received this in the mail it looked like it had already been used, there was tanning lotion squeezed out on the top. I had to use the lotion because I was completely out of my other bottle. I have been using it over a week now and I haven’t felt any tingle or anything.

I am very upset with what I received. This is a good lotion but I will not be buying again!.

Bombshell is the original tingle lotion and will always be a timeless favorite of mine! The scent is a nice fruity floral and I never smell like baked skin after tanning with this lotion which is a huge plus.

Also, the tingle factor is definitely intense but I personally am a junkie for tingle lotion so I could handle something even hotter than this. I get instant color from just one use and can easily break a tanning plateau with this lotion.

I will always keep this in my rotation.

The lotion doesnt work sadly. also it was expired. I read online that would be why the lotion didnt work bc lotions really do expire and the ingredients become inactive. I was so excited to get this lotion so its definitely disappointing and a total waste of money.

The only positive would be it didnt have a bad smell.

I already have a base tan and do not burn easily, but this lotion left me with extremely itchy skin. I was miserable for about an hour after using it. Not skin sensitive to most things. Ice cold shower is what I found to help.

I bought this yesterday at the tanning. I recommend this product if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. Just be careful if you burn easy or if stuff irritates your skin easy. My skin was red for about a hour then the redness went away.

I highly recommend this if your not wanting to spend over 20. 00 on a tanning product.

Love! This gets hotter than any tingle I’ve tried but good results. Deffinately authentic. Not for sensitive skin or those without a base tan.

I prefer this lotion! It is the best! The first few times is really hot but then your body gets used to it even tho the tingle stops that tanning does not! It’s great

I’m a very frequent tanner and this is one of the best tingle lotions I have ever used. I get phenomenal color and no streaking. May not be for beginners. More for serious tanners. And no streaking.

I spent $30.00 on Ed Hardy Obnoxious tanning lotion. I gave this a generous 1 star due the dha in in this product and the streaking it caused. It took exfoliation to get it off my skin.

Product came in good time very well packaged, I see alot of people who dont really have a clue about tanning creams who buy these triangle creams and slate the creams off. These creams are amazing yes they do make you go really red and may feel like your on fire but that’s NORMAL.

Great product wood buy again definitely.

Would not recommend for the inexperienced! Can cause intense heat for the first few mins of the sunbed. Then warms to a nice tolerant heat. Smells lovely read reviews that it smells like deep heat, it doesnt! Nice tropically smell! Would recommend for experienced tanners.

I order this because you cant find the lotion anywhere, and when it showed up it was a completely different lotion. Something called Black Sugar. Company is a fraud I would never order another thing from them.

Im a huge fan of tingle tanning lotions, and Ive been tanning for years. this didnt tingle at all!! Other than it smelling good, it felt like regular body lotion. Didnt really tan with it either after a couple of tries.

Great product, lovely fragrance, glides on my skin an feels silky smooth. My tan has been enhanced since I started using the lotion.

I’ve been using this product for years now, both in a tanning bed and a out tanning in the sun. Pro’s: It’s very effective, especially used in a tanning bed. Also cheap! Con’s: I found that if I use it on my face, I’ll break out, so I only use it on my body.

Also I’ll develop these small bumps on my back from this but they tend to go away after some time. My skin is pretty sensitive so I really just use it on my arms and legs.

Jwow tanning lotion is the best. I really wish someone would prove me wrong because my tans are always popping and it goes on so smooth and it is not greasy textured. It is on the pricey end but I think it’s worth it.

The packaging is also super cute as well.

This is the first jwoww lotion I have ever purchased and I am pretty impressed. It ran me about $50 with a discount at my tanning salon which I think was way over priced because I’ve seen it online for about $20-30 but I needed lotion and didn’t want to wait for shipping.

It has a nice smell, and it reminds me of something but I’m not sure what. The fragrance is called midnight pear. It smelled just as good when I got out of the bed so no ATO. Here’s what really sold me, about 4 hours after tanning I noticed my legs looked darker.

My legs are the hardest part to tan and take forever to show color. So for me to see them looking darker was a huge thing. Maybe it was just a coincidence or me wanting to see progress but I don’t think so.

If I remember I will update this again in a month and let y’all know if anything has changed. For now, I really like this and think it does a great job!.

This is hands down MY ALLL TIME FAVORITE indoor tanning lotion. You do have to be a bit careful when applying because it’s a bronzer and if you don’t watch it, You will end up with brown spots all over yourself.

Especially if you wear white 🙈 Anyways though, It’s always been my go to lotion when I tan at the salons. I can’t even lie. It even works outside if you are tanning in the sun. I’ve had the best results with this one though and it isn’t a tingler either.

If you want to get super dark, Super fast, This is where it’s at. I love it and no matter what else I try I always come back to my JWOW :)).

This item has now got me a referral to a dermatologist. I have had now for over 2 weeks, burns and rash to my legs, chest, arms and stomach. I have prescription medications and topical creams to put on due to the damage this has caused.

This shouldn’t be allowed to sell. It’s dangerous. I could be scarred for life due to this rubbish.

Best word to describe this lotion: OUCH. I have to insist that you READ THE DIRECTIONS and follow them. This is a tingler. If you have sensitive skin, don’t use it. I also suggest having a base tan before using.

You will feel a warm sensation after putting this lotion on and of you haven’t established a base tan it will be uncomfortable. Also, your skin will be red for hours after. It does leave you darker than tanning alone will after your skin cools down.

I notice that it leaves me a bit streaky so if you’re using it be sure to apply it carefully and consistently and be sure to exfoliate your skin afterwards. Overall not a bad tanning lotion, but I won’t be dishing out money for a second bottle.

rating is my opinion alone and given because; -I deducted 1 1/2 stars for the amount of redness and time it takes to calm the skin. -Another star was deducted for the streakiness and having to work to maintain it.

-1/2 star deduction because I do not like the smell of the lotion at all.

My second purchase of this product. This gives you a lovely colour with regular use but mind the burn!. Takes a bit to get used to.

The black onyx tanning lotion is the best one I’ve used. I find it goes on well and you don’t need loads to cover the body before a sunshower or sunbed. I’ve used quite a few tanning creams over the years and I would definitely recommend this one.

No tingle so it doesn’t sting , leaves the skin lovely and soft and doesn’t let my skin dry out. I do get a better tan quicker using this cream. I only go on the sunshower for 5 mins with this cream as I don’t really need to go OTT because you get a better quicker tan.

I wouldn’t go on any longer than 10 to 15 mins using the cream. It does smell nice too. I Would recommend this cream it’s worth every penny because you don’t have to go on the sunbeds or sun showers for long so your minutes last longer.

Product smelt great, maximised my tan and wasnt overly tacky, skin was left feeling soft and tan looked great.

We got this and decided to try it today. At the moment we are on our way home from the emergency room bc of this. It made my friend’s and my skin swell, turn bright red, itch, and burn. This started as soon as we stepped out side into the sun.

30 minutes later I started to get tiny bumps every where on my body. My friend was in severe pain. She was literally as red as a tomato and was badly swollen everywhere. We tried absolutely everything to help our skin.

We tried Benadryl, aloe vera, anti itch, and burn cream/spray. We even tried a hot shower to get it off but still nothing helped! My reaction lasted 4 hours and I had to sit there in pain. My friend’s reaction didn’t end until we went to the hospital and she got two antibiotics shots and a steroid shot.

With a round of steroids that she has to start tomorrow. Before hand she was for real screaming bc of the pain. I 100% DO NOT recommend! I would like my money back and for the company that made it pay for the hospital bill.

I only use tingle lotion on my legs, and I have used John Abate, Swedish Beauty and most recent Poison Apple but this stuff puts them to shame! Lit my butt on fire within 5 minutes in the bed! I also like the fact that it didn’t stay tingling to long after getting out of the bed and although the smell of it isn’t the greatest, I do recommend it.

The price is great and if you want to tingle, this is the lotion.

This is wonderful tanning lotion! I wouldn’t recommend it for someone just getting started tanning, because its pretty powerful! The smell isn’t wonderful but its not that bad either, remember, its tanning lotion, not perfume.

This is by far my favorite indoor tanning lotion. I’ve been using it for over 5years. If your tanning in a good bed with good bulbs and you put this on. you will come out instantly a tan bronze beauty!! You can literally tan once with this stuff and achieve a nice tan unlike some lotions I use I would have to go multiple times just to achieve a nice deep brown tan.

It does get kind of tingly hot feeling to the body, but I like to think that it’s working 🙂 Great price also, It does give you that toasty smell like you just been tanning. not the greatest smell but o well.
