I had heard Hankook was a good tire so when I needed tires I went back to Priority Tire since I have had 2 other good experiences with them. This purchase, not so much. Ordered 4 tires. 3 came and out of the 3, only 1 was the correct size.
The other 2 weren’t even Hankook Kinergy. Called customer support and had to jump through hoops to get approval to return them for a refund. 3 emails and several photos later with the incorrect sizes showing were needed.
John was nice on the phone though. I know he was just doing his job. But whoever pulled the tires in the warehouse and filled my order wasn’t even trying to do a good job. Very disappointed and waiting on a refund.

Goodyear is one of the worldís largest tire companies. It employs about 64,000 people and manufactures its products in 48 facilities in 22 countries around the world. Its two Innovation Centers in Akron, Ohio and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg strive to develop state-of-the-art products and services that set the technology and performance standard for the industry.
Goodyearís winged-foot trademark was inspired by a newel-post statuette of the Roman god Mercury in the home of Goodyear founder Frank Seiberling. Seiberling felt Mercury embodied many of the characteristics for which Goodyear products were known.
Just replaced the Goodyear Wrangler tires that were factory installed on my 2015 Ford 150 xlt Supercrew 62,400 miles. I probably could of got another 3000 miles but ended it early. My truck rides like a 1976 Cadillac.
Smooth ride and very little road noise. I rarely put heavy loads in the bed of my truck but do tow a 17 ft Boston Whaler ( 2500 pounds est) average 4 times a year. Hence I replaced the vehicle with the same newer version of the Goodyear tires.
I am sorry to have to buy new tires. I have 2015 f150 supercrew. These tires never gave me an issue and I have 56k on them and still have some tread. I would run them another 3k but I had a puncture in the one and the tire shop can’t seem to deal the patch, so I’m forced to get new tires since I’m not dealing with them every 8hrs to pump them up.
I’m sad to have to do that since there is some more tread to be worn. FYI I do run my tread low to get my monies worth and I don’t have inspection for another 4 months. The 2015f150s are lighter than the other trucks and I just put a high cap on it about 35k so I’m not expecting to get that much out of the next set.
For the price compared to the better competition I’m probably gonna go with these again. Like $50 more for maybe another 10k. Doesn’t seem worth it though the others have better traction. I’d like to try different brands.
I have 40K miles on these tires and I live in Alaska and time to replace. It’s a pretty good tire on snow for most of the year and also fine on gravel roads. It is not for off roading but is ok for pulling a double snow machine trailer or boat trailer occasionally.
It has a comfortable ride and very quite. I ordered my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat Supercrew from the dealer and chose these tires from the selection of tires available from the factory. This is the same tire that came with my truck from the factory and Walmart’s tire size compatibility is showing this is not correct.

Features and Benefits Longer lasting tread life, Exceptional summer traction, High speed performance, Rim protector Dunlop Direzza DZ102 Tires The Dunlop Direzza DZ102 is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire was designed for summer weather performance, as it provides exceptional summer weather traction. The tire grips the road well in dry and wet surfaces and provides a safe driving experience in those conditions.
However, the tire is not recommended for use in colder winter weather temperatures. This outstanding summer traction is the result of the Silicarbon Matrix tire compound used in its manufacture, which is a combination of carbon block and silica.
The tire’s resistance to hydroplaning is enhanced with the added wet traction and the circumferential tread grooves which eliminate water from below the footprint. This model was designed for high-speed performance.
Its enhanced performing ability is due to the deeper lateral cuts and the shoulder pattern of the tread design that grips the road at all speeds. The special Jointless Band Technology helps increase the quality of the high speed drive, as it reduces the vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle.
The control over the tire is increased by the internal structure of the model and the special directional tread pattern along with a larger tire footprint. The tire’s steering accuracy makes it easier to handle and it offers a quicker response time.
The Dunlop Direzza DZ102 boasts a longer lasting tread. The tread wears out evenly thanks to the maximized road contact area. This prevention of irregular wear on the tires increases the tread life. The tire is also equipped with a rim protector.
The Max Flange Shield protects the wheel from accidental curb damage, making it tire safer to use at high speeds.
It is difficult to offer more specifics performance-wise, since I only have 400 miles on the tires. The 102’s I am guessing are the follow-up to the discontinued 101’s. Similar in threat pattern to the 101’s.
In so far the 102’s feel softer, with more sideways wiggle/spongy feel than the 101’s. I had, Falken Ziex on the front end. Moving the 101’s to the front end seems to have helped steering a bit. I installed the new 102’s on the rear end.
The difference between the 101’s and 102’s in the feel of the rear axle was immediate, though, and clearly a step down from the “grippy” 101’s. The vehicle is a 2000 BMW Z3, 2. 5L. I drive passively, andregardless of the sports status of the vehicle.
I understand it will take a couple of hundred more miles to break-in the tires. So, will see.
Two different computer balancers failed on these tires, but we noticed the problem was out of round tires. We noticed on the second balancer that a noticeable flat spot is on two of the tires. They are a really nice looking tire on my 1954 F-100, but Im having to move them to a show only vehicle.
Excellent dry grip. Responsive in wet conditions. Suitable for performance sports car applications and aggressive driving. Predictable performance. Remember, these are summer tires designed for grip and handling and the trade off is longevity.
Expect 10 to 20k miles only but enjoy the time on these tires. These are one step shy of track tires and a few steps shy of race tires as far as compound. A great street sports car tire that performs while it lasts and is cheap to replace frequently.

I’ve bought atleast 4 or 5 sets of tires for all of our cars and Walmart by far comes through every time. High quality tires at very good prices. I will continue to get tires from Walmart. Installation is never included but van be added and yes this I’ve also done for all my cars and yes they do an excellent job no rim scratches.
So I will try to be as descriptive as I can be. I ordered these tires last Sunday, they came in on Wednesday. The first thing I would do is check the date of production on all the tires. My tires were new, you can tell they were not used and they were made in December 2019.
I’ve used these tires before so I knew what I was expecting. I drive an SUV and never had a problem with driving at high speeds with these tires. I just put them on so I will probably come back to update but I would absolutely purchase these tires.
I only worry about the rain and these tires work just fine when I do have to drive in the rain. due to COVID the Walmart auto centers are closed as of 9. 12. 2020 so I did have to go to another tire-shop to get them mounted/balanced.
Bottom line, I would check the tires when they come in after you’ve ordered them.
255/50R20 came stock on our 2018 explorer. At 10,000 miles I rotated the tires and noticed the tread seemed to be wearing fast. At about 12,000 miles we had serious performance issues (traction on gravel or any slight moisture).
Now at 16,000 miles, our tread is down to a finger nail. We are replacing tires on black friday, but we refrain from driving the SUV on any day that’s not dry. In reading other Explorer owners experiences, a vast majority report similiar issues; including our In-laws Jeep Cherokee with the same tire.
I grew up on a farm and do a lot of off-roading and mountain driving. So for me to complain about this tire to this degree should speak volume.

Needed replacements for my Toyo Proxes on my 1. 6i Citroen VTR. As we enter into the UK Autumn / Winter weather I wanted A class wet handling and as I do 600+ motorway miles per week I need C class or above for fuel consumption.
These tyres really fit the brief. Road noise is average for the tread pattern and cornering is sure footed with wet driving well tested this past week across m-way and A and B class roads. The huge back spray and strong steering response offering the confidence one needs that all four tyres are giving you maximum contact even in the worst conditions.
Fuel consumption is correctly categorised – unless one decides to drive spiritedly but worth noting that the new E10 petrol grade has a worse effect on consumption than your tyre pattern. Time will tell as to the wear and overall value for money, but for the price I paid for new supplied only tyres (120 for 2) I would recommend these Hankooks over any other brand in the same price bracket.
These were purchased as replacements for originals as fitted to new vehicle. They give excellent wearing capabilities and good both in wet or dry motoring. No hesitation in recommending these to any future buyers requring tyres to this spec.
