20 Best Tires For Fixie (2022 Updated)

I really like the WTB Thickslick, that I bought it again. its just so worth it. The earlier ones I bought, I put them on my XC bike that I use for touring duties. Its definitely a tough one. after going 2500km I didn’t experience any flats at all.

And, I’m pleasantly surprised that for a tire that doesn’t have treads, it has excellent grip even in the rain. Highly recommended for touring.

Its amazing how much noise a tire can make on a trainer. Even a nearly slick tire makes a lot of noise compared to these. I was surprised at how true they installed. This tire is truly slick. No texture at all.

Usually I have to rework the tire for a while before I can get it to sit perfectly round. I am not sure I got lucky, but it set perfect on first fill up. I have no intention of using this tire outside of the trainer, but it appears it would hold up to punctures better than most.

The ride area is is pretty thick and probably the reason its so heavy. Its not light, and 711 grams. There are much lighter versions. I chose this because I wanted it to last on the trainer, and in hopes it would be quieter than my previous tire.

I bought this tire to reduce both the noise and wear on my rear mountain bike (Kenda Nevegal X) tire on my indoor bike trainer. Problem solved. It’s practically silent other than a quiet “shhhhhh” sound.

Now I only hear my chain and gears, which is totally acceptable. I will run this tire during only the coldest three to four months a year until I can put my Nevegal back on and resume mountain biking in above-freezing temperatures and non-muddy trail conditions.

Nicely constructed tire. Light weight and easy to install. Just watch the tire height. I normally use 25mm tires. While a 25mm Zaffiro tire does indeed measure 25mm across when fully inflated, the height of tire is about half that of other tires I own.

I suspect this will improve handling but comfort also will be lower (just like car tires). I don’t think Vittoria is misrepresenting anything. They make this tire with a lower profile compared to some other manufacturers.

If I could get one in stock, I would certainly try 28mm instead 25mm for this tire.

As a reasonably priced option, I would say these are merely OK. Bought for a smoother ride on rough pavement, they make a huge difference compared to 23mm tires. Here’s the bit: the tire fit on several rims I have used is sloppy.

I barely need a tire iron to get the bead over the edge. Worse, because of the loose fit, I have had out of round problems. This requires careful pulling on the “high” spot while deflated. Inflate then check by spinning it.

Compared to a Continental tire, which has a tight fit and near perfect roundness, these are manufactured with slightly different bead diameters.

Purchased these for mounting on a Cannondale full suspension mountain bike. I strictly ride on the road and like the full suspension so for me, it was important to find a decent road friendly tire. I was not sure I would like these since they are relatively inexpensive but after a few hundred miles, they have held up with limited wear and the ride quality is good.

Control in wet conditions seems acceptable and hard braking can easily skid but these have a minimal tread pattern so for me, I don’t have a problem with them for my style of riding. I would certainly buy again especially when they are on sale.

I purchased my 5th pair of vittoria rubino pros, since they have been a very good reliable dependable tire. However this last set I purchased was the worst tire I have had. In 31 days I had 5 flats. I had to restock my tube inventory.

I hadn’t had a flat in months with my old set of rubinos. With the new set I had a flat the second ride with them installed. Then I had a simultaneous front and back flat at the same time. Then I had a rear flat 2 times on 1 ride.

I checked the tires for anything that might be stuck like glass or something. Nothing. So not sure if just this set was bad. I installed an old pair of gp 5000s I had sitting here. No flats so far. So it’s not the rim tape or the wheel.

I bought this tyre in 30c and did a tubeless set up with it. It blew off the wheel rims at only 70PSI, thankfully while stationery after I had done 70km. I refitted it back home and same thing happened, this time at 65PSI.

I raised the issue with Sigma and they blamed everything except the tyre such as the tape etc. I’ve been riding tubeless for 5 years and never experienced anything like this before. Have put different pair of tubeless tyres on since and absolutely no problems at all, so I can only presume this tyre from Vittoria was supplied damaged.

I have used the all black versions of this tire (700x25mm) for several years and found them to be very durable. I typically get a year’s worth of road miles, about 6,000, per set. The skin wall limited edition Rubino Pro tires are no different, and I really like their classic looks for my vintage steel road bike.

I ride about 5,000 miles a year and installed the thickslicks on one of my road bike. I typically will get 2,000 miles on a set of tires. The thickslick, however, lasted a couple of hundred miles when a bulge developed in the front tire and actually burst while I was riding.

Luckily I was on flat ground and was able to pull over safely. I chose these tires because they were suppose to be durable but turned out to be opposite. I contacted Schwalbe and sent pictures of the “defect” but have not heard back.

Way to stand by your product.

Love these tires! I have been using them for about 2 years now on my single-speed commuter bike, and I really like having an affordable slick tire giving less rolling resistance that still has a nice, thick tread to protect from flats.

Constantly shocked at the size of some of the glass chunks I pull out of it that get stopped by the tread before they reach my tubes!.

This is the second set of thick slicks i have installed on my primary bike. They ride very well and are pretty tough and flat free. Because the tread is thick you have to watch the height if your tire clearance is tight.

A typical 28mm fits my bike well, but this fits more like a 29 or 30. just barely. Great tire, but if a reg 28 is tight for you, you might have to settle on a 25.

This is a well made tire with a perfect fit! It is stylish and is kept in its natural form, unlike store bought generic tires that are folded in a box. The material seems to be high quality and the cost is the same as you would pay for the generic at a store! I would purchase these again for another bike!.

Great looking tire, color was perfect, really nice tread pattern.

Beats the typical Walmart blackwall replacements. And the price is cheaper—win/win.

I like the performance of these tyres – they stick fairly well and are a great value for the cost. But, and here’s the rub, the sidewalls keep blowing out. I’m not sure if it’s my aggressive riding style (700x23C on an 11 speed 853 Reynolds steel w/ carbon fork and Ultegra groupset) I mean I do jump stuff that gets in the way like trail track crossings, large cracks, potholes etc.

But I always expect my tyres to be tougher. So, if you’re not as aggressive as I am – these may be a great value for you; aggressive riders. caveat emptor. Easy riding 4 stars: good cost / quality for an average tyre.

Average wear – as expected w/ stiffer compound. Aggressive riding – not recommended. you’ll just blow them out like I do.

Purchased as a package deal for use on my commuter rat bike. Tured fitted easily on to my mavic rims & seem fairly true when sat on rim. / bit of runout but acceptable,Not bad for a cheap tyre. only time will tell if puncture resistance any good but so far so good for my daily commute.

I bought these to replace Kenda kwest tires that came on my bike, they looked boring and I wanted something with a little more thread for unpaved/gravel roads but not too much to increase rolling resistance.

These Zaffiro tires fit the bill great. They were easy enough to install, look great and so far after few rides have been great. Maybe a little on a stuff side but again these are $25. Btw they only weigh 440gr not 700+ as stated in item description!.

Moving from GP 5000 with latex to Pro One TLE as I want to run tubeless. The GP 5000 S TR is Crazy expensive, so this is a very good alternative. The tires are easy to get on the rim, but hard to get seated.

You will need a compressor or “flash” pump. The tire seals fine. No sealeant leaking through the tire sidewall. On paper the Pro One TLE is less than 2 watts slower than GP 5000 S, and for the price I happily “pay” 2 watts for almost half the price.

These tires are crazy comfortable. I love them. Still blows my mind that I can run 4. 5 bar being a 84 kg rider.

Easy to fit tubeless tyres. They feel fast and come up to a near true size (25mm on Giant SLR 1 rims – 19. 4mm internal width – come up at about 25. 5mm). True weight. Only issue – and it might be a big one – one of the tyres is leaking sealant (and air, I assume) from the sidewalls.

Not where the tyre meets the rim, but the rubber – mainly through the seem and the knobbly bits that you get on new tyres. Sigma did offer to take the tyres back, but stated that all sidewalls are porous and that it is to be expected, citing the need to install the tyres correctly, which of course I did.

I’ve not had the issue with any other tubeless tyres and the problem is only one of the tyres.

Using on new Hunt tubeless carbon wheels. They were easy to install, needed a little use of a tyre lever, and seated well with a C02 cylinder. Running at about 70 psi, and working well on the road – cerrtainly less rolling resistance than the wider tyres I had.

Why only 4 stars? – I have to top up the air every two days. In comparison the Giant Gavia tyres I have on my old alux wheel set only needed pumping up every couple of weeks. – They are less grippy than the Gavia tyres.

I have a 700 series bike as well as the 26″ which was a mountain bike but I put these road tires on it. I like the 26″ tires better than the 700 series. They are lower and wider thus more stable. There might be slightly more rolling resistance than the 700 series but I think its worth it for comfort, durability and control.

As far as speed, the top end might be slightly higher on the 700 series because they are taller and skinnier but look at the bell curve, most bikes will go in the middle ground most of the time. Top end only a small percentage of the time right? So I liked these tires because they work in the majority range of speed and road conditions.

Michelin is a top name brand too so this gave me confidence to buy them. The only downside is that they are 1. 4″ wide which I found to be an odd width. The tires themselves were hard to find. No local shops had them in stock so I had to buy them online.

I had to get tubes that went from 1. 2-1. 75 tire size. I also put another layer of rim tape to assure max safety to the tubes, the 3rd downside is that they are expensive in comparison to other tires.

This is why they lost one star. I hope they will last.

Over the years I slowly migrated to Michelin tires on all of my cars. The only rival I found was the Goodyear comfort tread. Also an awesome car tire. I am slowly changing all my bicycle tires to Michelin.

They cost 20% more but last 40% longer. They give a confidence feel around turns. Bicycle or car. The feel like soft rubber not like cardboard. Not boxy. Michelin bicycle tires mount on the rim easily because of the markings on the side wall.

Making them easy to center. For me. They have been consistently less problematic than other tires. Like Kenda, Bontrager or Contenental; which occasionally mount with a wobble. In the end they are cheaper, faster, quicker and easier.

I have been buying bicycle tires for the past 30 years. Before that I just rode what ever was kind of on the bike or at Freddy’s.

Terrific tire made to carry a load, with a proper reflective stripe on the sidewall. Were I still living in Holland, I’m confident this would easily handle the weight of a kid, dog, case of beer and me like any Dutch bike tire should.

My only disappointment was despite Michelin’s tag saying it was manufactured by Michelin in France, the tire is marked as made in Taiwan. some global manufacturing tour de passe-passe (sleight of hand) by the Michelin Man.

Excellent all-arounder for road riding and the best tire going for road tubeless. This version has a bit more rubber and durability than the Pro One, at a better price. This is my go-to tire in 28cm with Orange Seal endurance sealant.

I’m usually running the 76psi front 82psi rear, sometimes I vary it. Been riding these two years now, and getting 1200+ miles out or rear mounted ones, and not a flat yet. They roll fast, super in rain and corner well with great traction in rain, and absolutely in dry conditions.

I’ve even hit extended gravel stretches on these and they do great. They mounted easy on some Hunt All Season Gravel Disc wheels, a bit trickier on some ICAN Aero discs, but tube-in over night and lotsa soapy water on the bead did the trick.

Thats just tight tolerances, and for the awesomeness these tires are, I don’t mind a bit. Schwalbe has the others beat hands down with the One TLE and the Pro One TLE. I love Panaracer Gravelking TLC file treads too, which could compete with these if they made a 28cm version, but they don’t, so Schwalbe for the dominant win.

Tubeless ;). This is the way.

No problem with the tyres in use, seem to be good quality, everything fine. Only problem I had was putting them on the wheels. Very hard to do, took me a long time and left me with sore thumbs and fingers.

I understand they need to be tight, but they were so hard to put on! There are currently very few options recommended for my wheels (hookless). By the time you take the current supply problems into account, these were the only tyres available.

I don’t have others to compare to as these are the first ones I have tried. Perhaps all tyres will be as difficult to install. If they are I wont be doing it next time, will go to local bike shop and get them to do it.

Neither of the pair Ive tried are able to run tubeless for very long. Tire will not seal against rim. After loosing pressure and sealant repeated tries, I opted for tubes Defeats the whole purpose of these.

Will not try again with this version. I learned through local shop that early version of tire was problematic. YMMV.

These tires are one of my favorites. They do exceptionally well on hard packed dirt and small gravel like the crushed limestone found on rail trails. They also work well on pavement, but if this is what you primarily ride on there are more efficient and lighter options.

I have these on my Trek X-caliber for riding rail trails and mild wooded paths. I do ride them on streets occasionally and they do well when it’s wet out. The tires are extremely durable. My wife runs the same tire on her bike.

They have well over 2k miles on them and in that time has only had 1 flat due to glass. I almost only gave 4 stars because I believe they could be lighter and more supple. Of course then they would most likely be prone to flats.

I highly recommend these tires especially considering the price.

These tyres are just superb. simple! THEY FIT ONTO RIMS NICELY AND ROLL SMOOTHLY WITHOUT ANY OF THAT UP AND DOWN ACTION LIKE AN EGG. THEY GRIP GREATIN DRY DIRT AND ON THE TARMAC! THEY ARE ALMOST AS LIGHT AS THE KHE’S BUT AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE AND THEY LOOK REALLY COOL TO BOOT! WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT FROM AN ALL ROUND BMX TYRE.

Super happy with this tire. Nice and quiet. Great grip.

I love Schwalbe tyres. They are virtually bulletproof and are on all my bikes. Fitting – these tyres are tough to fit but once they’re on, the only time you’ll need to take them off are when the tread disappears or you’ve suffered a major puncture.

Handling and grip – the tyres are heavier than other road tyres but the grip these provide even in the wet are superb. My original Giant branded tyres hated the wet. On dry surfaces they eat up the miles.

They’ll even cope with light gravel. Speed – so, there is a disadvantage. Due to the weight of the tyre, you’ll go a little more slowly. If speed matters to you, don’t get them otherwise these are almost close to the perfect bicycle tyre.

As for the price and buying experience, Halfords did everything right. They were the cheapest. I ordered the tyre at 6pm previous evening and it arrived the next day by noon. I couldn’t ask for more.

Some say these tyres are difficult to fit, I tied a piece of cord around the rim and tyre for the ‘tight’ last few inches of fitting, and then just pushed the tyre on with my fingers; job done. These tyres weigh approx.

960g. and whilst that’s some 230 grammes more per tyre than the originals on my Crossfire 2; I haven’t noticed any increase in resistance whilst cycling. After about 120 miles, no punctures to date, they’re nice and quiet, with no perceptible effect on handling either.

The reflective strip around the bead is a very smart idea, especially if you’re a night-time cyclist, and the tread depth is more than the original tyres. The bike handles well on tarmac surfaces, and not too bad on gravel and mud, they are after-all a sort of one size fits all tyre.

Overall, I’m happy with these tyres; and hopefully I’ll get a few thousand miles out of them this year. Click and collect from the Whitstable branch, which still isn’t listed; hence showing Canterbury instead.

The tire went on easy enough, although it seems I am a little out of touch with the times as I remember paying $13 for my last tires. anyway, no complaints on the tires but as a word of warning if you decided to actually go to the store.

Don’t try to pass your counterfeit money at WALMART. Their standard tactic is to walk away after holding your money at arms length and the looking at it while held overhead. A freaking $1 pen or 2 minutes of training would keep the lines from becoming so daunting.

Now that I have discovered shopping on line with free shipping, you can have your $1 pen and government encouraged transition to electronic methodology so you can keep an eye on us and stand sentinel.

I needed some 27″ tires for a road bike I was building out of spare parts for my little brother. We ride about 5 miles every sunday and he’s been riding an old 40lb mountian bike he’s had forever. Looked these tires up on amazon and most of the complaints were because people had bought the wrong size.

I bought two tires online for $10. 55 each and same day pick up at my local store. I already had a set of plastic tire changing levers although they do sell those at Wally World too for about $3. Changing bike tires is a difficult task, and it’s very easy to “pinch” a hole in the tube even with the proper levers.

You almost need a razor knife (I used wire cutters) to cut through the plastic bands holding the tire folded up, and it springs apart violently when you cut the last band, so have a good grip on your knife.

I carefully pryed these on the rims with new tubes, inflated and deflated a few times to make sure the bead was even all the way around the rim and finally inflated to 90psi. Mounted the wheels back on the bike and took a test ride and was very pleased.

These have a little softer ride than my road bike with 700×23 tires and seem to roll just as good. The tread seemed pretty thick and the kevlar belt will definitely make them harder to puncture. My little brother is 53yrs old and 240lbs (I’m a svelte 225:)) and he was tickled to death with his new bike.

I bought a pair of these from Walmart last fall and put them on my Schwinn Sprint road bike. They were easy to install and provide a great ride and wet and dry traction on the road, track and trail. I would highly recommend these tires to any one looking for a high quality tire for a reasonable price.

It is a decent enough tire, it withstands 100PSI without separating, but honestly the tread thickness is pitifully shallow. Expect it go 1,000 miles perhaps 1,500 before the fibers show. With respect to other bike tires this size its not much different.

If you ride, as I do, on roads where the surface isn’t great, and ride 100 to 200 miles a week buying these is a very expensive hobby requiring 2 sets per year. The manufacturing quality is decent the thickness is not.

A great tyre and a good upgrade to my Brompton. The rolling resistance of the tyres seems much less than the standard Brompton tyres I replaced yet the grip is equally as good. Fitting a new tyre always seems to be more of a job than it should be – the Kojaks were quite tight to get on to the rims but a bit of brute force and tyres levers came to the rescue.

Would certainly recommend as an upgrade.

This tire is light, great smooth surface. It has an impossibly flimsy bead so you have to be really really careful with un-mounting. My usual routine with tire irons doesn’t even faze cheapo Kenda tires, but destroyed one of these on the first try.

Great tire, but I don’t know if the bead issue is going to make me want to find an alternative tire.

I have run tubeless Schwalbe tyres for some time now so I can compare various products. On the PLUS SIDE: These LOOK GREAT. I mean they just ooze quality. Other riders remark on my bike when running these tyres.

Looks aren’t everything but looks are something. These TT versions RUN SUPER-SMOOTH. I mean they really do feel something else. They ARE FAST too. On my first use of them while not even trying the ‘PBs’ took a beating! I’ll take that, thank you! They are LIGHTER than other offerings, so that is a plus.

Lightness v durability is a trade-off with all tyres, even car tyres. They are COMPARATIVELY EASY to set up tubeless. They are easy to install but there is a little less material on the bead seat area so initial set up might be a fiddle for some.

They sealed dry with no sealant no worries and then in went sealant for final sealing, mess free. Using a good sealant is key to retaining pressure in tubeless tyres. So many users whine about losing air and mostly it is the thiner sealant they are using or leaky valve cores.

I use Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex. It never lets me down with Schwalbe tyres. On the NEGATIVE SIDE: They are NOT CHEAP. So that is a BIG NEGATIVE. Also they do NOT LAST as long as the cheaper and heavier versions of the Pro Ones.

Being lighter there is less material so they are really race day tyres. Don’t expect them to last. Pushys delivered fairly fast but it was jut Auspost so really the credit is there. I highly recommend these tyres especially if you can get a ‘special’ on pricing.

High cost means 1 star off. Let’s face it these are pricey tyres.

Compare to 5000TL: Pros: Different feeling to 5000TL I replaced with. It seems and feels faster and much softer. Very good looking. Cons: Easy mount but they don’t stay in place, need very high pressure pump, couldn’t make them stay even with CO2 capsules where installation of 5000TL was very easy for me.

The tyres need to be inflated much more often (like every night) and they don’t hold pressure. I got two punctures shortly that they don’t seal. In summary: Doesn’t worth the extra hassle, so not recommended.

This is a great tire but it doesn’t fit my Frog 24” wheels. You have to be aware of the ETERO because not all 24” bike wheels are the same ETERO. These tires are 520 ETERO and my kid’s bike is 540 ETERO.

Apparently the only road bike tires on the planet for a 540 bike are the Kenda Koncepts that are also like finding a unicorn steak.

These might work well if you ride on very smooth, well maintained roads. I found these to be pretty fast tyres on the rare occasions that a road had a decent surface. Unfortunately, most of the country roads that I ride (Wiltshire and the Cotswolds) are NOT well maintained, and these tyres didn’t survive.

2 punctures in the first 6 months of use. Normally, I expect to fix the occasional puncture when out on a ride (maybe once a year) but what made these tyres impractical was that they were incredibly tight on my Hunt carbon rims.

I needed decent tyre levers and a LOT of strength to get the tyres back on, which took a lot of time. All told, I can’t use a tyre that I can’t easily work with at the side of the road, unless it is absolutely definitely never going to puncture.

I haven’t come across that tyre. As it is, with their ability to puncture and real problem to fit, these just aren’t practical.

After unsuccessfully trying other tubeless tyres, which are too hard to install and then a nightmare to work on the road when having a flat that the sealant cannot handle. I decided to give it a try to these new continental hookless tyres.

They are reported to have the lowest rolling resistant, good puncture protection and easy to install. I installed them on the latest set of 454 NSW Hookless wheels. These for a Ironman World Championship in St George, Utah.

My experience was great, not only when through the race without worries, but also completed almost 400 kms on a two day ride to Florida West Key from Homestead, also completed the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, and most recently 100 kms of a Multiple Sclerosis ride Brisbane to the Bay.

These tyres a truly awesome and makes you love the tubeless and hookless technologies. Well done continental.

ORDER DATE: 01/05/2020 ORDER NUMBER: X1761130 I bought a continental GP5000 tire as a continuation of the great satisfaction from the continental GP4000 ii, reading the excellent reviews, to use it as a rear tire.

I ordered them in May, I was late to receive them due to covid and I finally placed it in early July. Unfortunately in a very short time and with minimal use, 500 kilometers, the product in a routine walk on asphalt was torn to the side and unfortunately destroyed.

There are no guarantees for the tires as I understood after contacting continental. My company replied “The damage to your tire has been caused by sharp road debris and is not a manufacturing defect.

Unfortunately this is just bad luck “showing clearly that a material failure in one of the most critical parts of the bike for safety is due to misfortune and that its responsibility is limited to selling expensive and well-publicized tires that are torn sideways” by the wind “.

Sigmasport was initially offered to offer me a tire at a better price. In the first choice I made “vittoria rubino” he offered me a price much higher than the competition, which he improved after a market research I did but not satisfactorily.

In a second proposal I made for the continental GP5000, thinking that I would have a more favorable price on the tire that was damaged, the OFFER was 8 euros more expensive than the competition per tire with free shipping.

I preferred to buy 2 tires from another store with 5 euros shipping. Unfortunately my opinion on sigmasports, in terms of customer response after purchase, is not the best (read also my experience with ENDURAFS260 PRO BIB SHORT shorts).

I’m really unlucky with orders from sigmasports. In summary, I believe that the continental GP5000 Folding tire is an expensive, very good tire with a big problem on the side walls. Searching the web, you will find many bad reviews in this area.

If you want a safe tire above all, choose something else.

I bought these for my year round (until snow and ice), all-around commuting bike. It replaces a pair of 28mm Conti 4 Seasons. I got the widest MEC carried – 30mm. MEC, please try to get the 32mm version.

I will compare to the Continentals since they look like direct competitors. These are slighty less expensive especially when on sale. Contis were available and often on sale pre-2021 but not often now.

These are made in Taiwan for a company called Rubber Kinetics which licenses the Goodyear brand from the car tire company. The Continentals are made in Germany by the same company as the car line. I have Shimano WH-R500 wheels with Rim Inner Width 18mm,Rim Outer Width 20.

8mm and Veloplugs (spoke hole plugs) instead of rim tape. The Goodyear tires install slightly easier than the Contis. The consistency of roundness between the two brands seem very close. No problems seating the bead.

Once inflated, the width of the tire is closer to 28mm. The Contis were about exactly 28mm. For what it is worth, the rubber tread feels very grippy in the hand. More so than a new pair of the Contis.

The biggest difference is in the ride quality. These feel very comfortable, cushy or supple. I had them at my usual 80psi. The Continentals feel very hard and only start to feel better to me for cracked pavement at around 60-70psi.

In the hand, the sidewalls of this feel more supple than the Contis. In terms of durability, I will update with a review later. The casing material has a hatched weave look on the sidewall. This looks similar to the Continentals.

For 2 years of commuting on the Contis, I never had a flat. I hope these are as good.

Would love to tell you how the tire performs as a tire, but I have broken two tire levers while failing to get the tire onto the rim. so haven’t used it yet. This ain’t my first folding bead tire either (over 25 yrs exp with folding beads on road/mtb/hybrid rims).

This tire is the only one that has ever thwarted my efforts. Bought this tire for indoor trainer use after reading the bad reviews on trainer-specific tires being so hard to mount on rims. Well, add this tire to the list.

Only workouts I’ve had so far is trying/failing to get the tire on the rim, and then walking over to my LBS for them to do it. Can’t imagine being out on an actual ride and getting a flat with these tires; would probably have to call an Uber to get home.

Then again, since I probably would still be fighting to get the tire on the rim I’d have never gone for the ride in the first place. Goodyear, stick to car/truck tires.

I only have 92 miles on them after only 2 rides. They sealed with my floor pump, I did the front tire first. They are very hard to mount, I had to use my Kool Tool. Then the rear tire which gave me trouble.

After it was sealed and I let the air out to add sealant, a portion of the bead would pop lose. I went thru this exercise several times and finally added sealant and pumped the tire up. The tires wanted stay like centered in my Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 wheels with the Bontrager plastic rim strip before being pumped up to be seated.

I am hoping they are better flat resistant than the Pirelli Zero TLR tires that I just replaced with these tires. I had 4 flats in 9 weeks. Sidewall punctures and center of tread puncture and a staple once removed self sealed.

Decided to change the look of my road bike. These aremagic and ride fast. Just ordered another pair. Fast. Easy to fit. Great.

I like these tyres. Great training tyres.They inflate tubless easily and decent grip and and wear out slowly.

these tires look great and just as great. Comfortable and quiet. Acceleration is phenomenal. Be warned though they have thin sidewalls i received my first flat after 18 miles. They mount very easily and are light When mounted they measured to be 23 mm not 25.

They are directional specific.

I live near a pretty epic fire road with lots of climbing and great views. I use to take my full suspension MTB but this seemed overkill for a basically graded road. Not having the money for a new cross bike I bought a set of these tires and turned a road bike into a gravel monster.

These tires have really good grip, low rolling resistance on pavement, and pretty good flat resistance. Great way to get off road on a budget.

I bought the 28s and they fit easily on my S Works Roubaix and my CDale EVO. They roll smoothly on the road (90psi rear and 85 front) and give extra confidence in the dirt. To be fair I’ve only tried Conti GP4000s in the dirt.
