Tires for stretching are a type of exercise equipment that can be used to help improve flexibility and range of motion. They typically consist of a large, inflatable rubber ball that is placed underneath the person’s back or buttocks, and they can be adjusted to provide different levels of resistance.
Tires for stretching can be a great way to improve your flexibility and range of motion, and they can also be used as a form of rehabilitation after an injury.

Achilles ATR Sport 195/55R16 87V Tire
a Maximum reduction of energy loss during cornering, braking or accelerating Solid Center Rib
Delivers straight line stability to improve handling Supreme Dot Technology
The Achilles’s ATR Sport 195/55 R16 87V tyre drastically reduces rolling resistance so as to spare energy and reduce fuel consumption. Tread design enhance performance. All conditions are met for safety driving in rain.
This fits perfectly for my 2017 Mini Cooper S 4Dr. I used to have those expensive run flates that came with the car, and every bump, pot holes and train tracks I ran over I feel it all. But with these tires, they’re 1/4 of the price for a run flare tire! Plus they ride a lot softer than the harder run flates with the same great steering performances.
I have no problem doing fast turns or breaking on these tires vs the more expensive tires. No problem in loose gravel, and wet grounds. It doesn’t snow here in my area in AZ, so I can’t say much for snow driving experience.
Seriously, pay for all 4 tires could only get my one of the run flates from before. I had to replace one of my run flates due to the side bulging walls from trying to swerve from hitting a metal part that fell from a car in front of me on the highway, and still hit it as I couldn’t move over a lane due to other cars next to me.
But boy, I’m glad I found these! Cheaper in price, yet still the same performance and handling as other $200 tires!.
Nice looking tires. Good ratings. I searched online ratings and read about the manufacturer before deciding on these. They have really good cornering grip, but of course they’re new, so only time will tell how that stands up.
They’re quieter on the highway than my previous tires (BF Goodrich).
The GT Radial Adventuro AT3 is an all-season tire specially designed for drivers who are looking for off-the-road performance and on-road stability. Ideal for light trucks and SUVs, the GT Radial Adventuro AT3 will impress onlookers with its aggressive appeal but civilized highway manners.
It features an innovative shoulder block design molded with enhanced tread compound to enhance its capability off the road and increase its resistance to cutting and chipping. Not only that, it also allows it to tackle elements such as dry, heat, mud, and snow.
The two longitudinal grooves help enhance wet traction by evacuating water efficiently while the interlocked tread blocks and S-shaped central rib enhance handling stability and improve grip on loose road surfaces.
To get the most out of the GT Radial Adventuro AT3, it is recommended to use it in sets of four.
The Achilles’s ATR Sport 195/50 R15 82V FR tyre drastically reduces rolling resistance so as to spare energy and reduce fuel consumption. Tread design enhance performance. All conditions are met for safety driving in rain.
Like the tread pattern a lot , it’s very responsive in wet weather conditions. The tread helps grip in the water and is also great on dry roads. The tires have a quiet ride compared to others I’ve had on my cars.
Would recommend the tires for a nice set of economical performance tires.
Every tire i have every used that were achilles have always impressed me. These sport tires grip really well when it comes to handling. They are quite on the notchy side and make a little bit of road noise but nothing to extreme.
Accelera Phi-R FEATURES AND BENEFITS All weather traction Reduced fuel consumption Precise steering responsiveness Reduced road noise levels OVERVIEW The Accelera Phi-R is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This model offers excellent all weather road grip and its traction is superb in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread elements and the tire compound work together to boost the year round traction and to maintain tire tires flexibility even in colder temperatures.
The tread grooves help make the driving experience safer by channeling water and slush from below the footprint of the tire, thus avoiding dangerous hydroplaning. The tire has a lowered rolling resistance thanks to the reduced weight of the tire.
This contributes to two enhancements. Firstly, the lowered rolling resistance decreases the fuel usage of the vehicle, as it does not need a lot of energy to keep the tire in motion. Secondly, it slows down the tread wear rate of the tire, as the driving pressure is eased off of the tread.
These aspects make the tire more economic and environmentally friendly. Even at high speeds, this model performs exceptionally well. The improved driving stability of the tire and its precise steering responsiveness provides extra safety.
The tire is easily controlled and it responds to the commands of the driver quickly and precisely. The upgraded cornering ability and power also boost the high speed driving safety of the tire. The tire grips the road and provides first-rate traction in cornering and maneuvering situations.
The Phi-R is a quiet and comfortable tire. The road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle is reduced by the additional sipes in the tread pattern which channel the soundwaves through the model’s footprint, making an enjoyable driving experience.
I recently bought a set of 4 for my heavily modified Subaru Legacy wagon as a test. Didn’t have high expectations due to price and I am not disappointed. In the dry, they are quiet over most road surfaces in general would make a decent commuter tire.
Have only driven them once in the rain and that was at night so I wasn’t pushing the envelope at all and they provided no surprises. I took them out on a mountain road i know well and pushed them pretty hard to see how they might do under dry track day conditions and again, no real surprises.
As you approach the limit in the dry they run at very large slip angles before losing grip so should be fine for my wife’s first track day. It will be interesting to see how they do overall over the life of the tire but i am at this point hopeful and not unpleasantly surprised.
As the tread wears a bit I expect wet weather performance to be less than desirable but we will see.
They’re quiet enough not to be bothersome, they have enough grip to be safe for regular traffic. My biggest and only real complaints are it’s wet grip, it’s essentially useless in the rain if you want to even remotely push it past going 10 under in heavy rain.
The last bit is the road vibration/feel, it’s responsiveness is not that great. With that being said however, you get what you pay for with tires. These tires are decent for the price and will be good enough to commute on and let my summer tires do the real fun stuff.
I got these for my 2018 Volvo V90 and they’ve been great. I drive more aggressively than pretty much any other Volvo owner and they’ve been great. I’m in Texas, so they don’t see much cold weather but when we had ice in February they were decent (I’m from NH and used to snow).
These tires are quiet and have more frip than the Continental Quiet Ride tires that came on the car. I’m pretty happy with them for the price – I’ve put like 4-8k miles on them, they don’t draw much attention to themselves.
Features and Benefits: All weather traction, Fuel efficient performance, Improved driving comfort levels, Upgraded cornering capability Accelera Phi Tires The Accelera Phi is a high performance, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire has exceptional all weather traction and, thanks to the asymmetric tread design, it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The special compound keeps the rubber flexibility in all weather conditions, while the tread manages to firmly grip the road surface at all times.
The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint for a safer driving experience. The dry and wet weather performing capability is further improved by the tread design.
The dynamic medium lateral groove increases the wet weather traction and helps lower the rolling resistance. The reduced rolling resistance lessens the vehicle’s fuel and energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Not only does the model become safer to drive in wet weather this way, but it also becomes more environmentally friendly and fuel efficient. The straight medium rib of the tread design improves the tire’s flexibility and stability during dry road driving.
The better flexibility and stability allow the tire to perform to its highest capabilities as the tire maintains its optimal tire shape against the external driving forces affecting it. The better stability improves the model’s controllability and makes it easier to steer in all weather conditions.
The Accelera Phi’s shoulder tread design increases the cornering ability and helps lower the road noise. The shoulder tread design provides additional biting edges to grip onto the road during cornering, increasing the cornering ability and power.
They also channel the airwaves from the tire footprint which prevents road pattern noise from forming, offering a quiet driving experience.
Just had four of these put on a Buick Lucerne. They are not quite as wide as the 245/50/18’s Coopers that were on it. Not a bad looking tire, but I do wish you could get white letter tires in this size.
I’ve got about 1000 miles on them already and no complaints. They seem to be a pretty good value. So far so good, time will tell. Priority tire had the tires I was looking for and delivered just as they said they would.
I just replaced Continental run-flat tires with the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (non run-flats). It is made a massive difference. The tires ride smoothly, steer precisely, braking is improved, and wet performance is so much better and confidence inspiring.
A great combination of both sport and luxury. As to a number of comments about the tires being noisy, they really aren’t any noisier than competitive tires or the tires predecessor, the A’s 3+. I think it’s just that the tone of the noises a little bit higher pitched and therefore more noticeable to some people.
On the other hand, I noticed that there is no noise difference when driving on asphalt and concrete, which is unusual because most tires tend to be louder on concrete. Not so with these tires.
I have been driving my car with run-flat tires for 10 years. Although run-flat tires are the specified tires for my car, I have sacrificed ride quality for so long. I decided to put the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires into my car.
They were on promo during the month of April 2022 which helped in my decision. I appreciate that they are not run-flat tires. But, what a difference! These tires are so quiet and I’m enjoying a much better ride in my car now.
I will test them through the winter months later in the year since they are all-season tires. I hope I won’t need to switch into my winter tires. I highly recommend these tires!.
Handling in rain is amazing!! Its been pouring here in cali! They told me from our multiple local tire shops here in California that that these tires are not available nowhere in USA due to backorder and i assume PANDEMIC! Well thank you gov.
DESANTIS for not shutting down your states economy and providing services for us Californians! Thank You!! I was able to order them from FLORIDA since no other state carried them. These tires are amazing! I used to drive Primacy MXM4 and these new tires beat them they are handling amazing on slippery roads tested these tires in pouring rain.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S Summer Tire Summer tire. Born from Endurance Racing. Our revolutionary Multi-Compound Construction delivers unmatched levels of dry and wet grip exactly where you need it to perform at a top level to experience improved dry handling performance.
The Pilot Sport 4 S has Variable Contact Patch 3. 0 which improves the tire life during aggressive driving by optimizing pressure distribution across the patch.
I did a lot of research before having these fitted to my Jaguar XF Portfolio to replace Dunlop SP Sport 01(J)s. The PS4S is a more aggressive tyre, so I went with the older design and it seems to suit my car very well.
The PS4 are a little quieter than the Dunlops, grippier in the dry, and even more so in the wet. The steering is lighter and more fluid. The Dunlops took more effort to turn just off-centre before settling into the corner, whereas the Michelins are more linear and give greater feedback.
Ride comfort is surprisingly good for a sports tyre, and a small improvement on the old Dunlops. Durability is as yet unknown as I’ve only done about a thousand kms. but I’ve had good experience with the wear rate of Michelin tyres (Primacy LCs) on a different car in the past.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the PS4, and although quite expensive they seem well worth the money.
Got these tires with my ‘98 Z3 Coupe with suspension upgrades. The tire handles amazingly both on comfortable Autobahn driving up to enthusiastic driving on curvy b-roads. Temperatures build up quickly and the tire is always giving me confidence.
It really takes a lot of input to bring them to slide. Turning in gives great feedback and they have great durability. Need to change my back tires after 25. 000 KM. Driving style: 50 % comfortable, 50% sporty, no track days.
In the rain they handle amazingly too, but I drive my car rarely on rain, therefore I won’t give a deep feedback. Definitely going to keep with PS4’s only minor issue is with the sound they make but it’s normal for sporty tires.
Michelin Primacy Tour A/S Tire The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S is a Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of family sedans, coupes, crossovers and SUVs looking to maximize ride and noise comfort and maintain year-round traction.
The Primacy Tour A/S is designed to deliver a premium driving experience combined with all-season capability, even in light snow. The five-rib pattern of the Primacy Tour A/S’s asymmetric tread design is tuned to provide the refined, quiet ride expected of a luxury touring tire.

Whether you’re battling stop-and-go traffic or cruising along on the open road, the Z5 has the features you need for a luxurious driving experience.
I have only had these tires on the car for a week. All good so far. Only problem is getting them mounted. Being a 30 profile, not every shop can do that, and then some tire companies will only mount tires purchased from them.
Finally had to make an appointment out several days and then it cost $125 to get two tires changed out and balanced. Still saved some money, but not as much as I thought.
I just had 4 of the 245 45 17’s put on my 2004 Mach-1. When I picked up the car it was in one of our typical South Florida monsoon ran storms on and off for 2 days. So the first driving impressions are for wet performance only.
These tires never lost grip once. Cornering, start and stop no issue. Sumitomo recommends 500 mile break in period. I dont drive far so 15 heat cycles and about 200 miles and let’s see what they bring to party.
These tires are much quieter than the Mickey Thompson SteetComp and the Nitto NT555. The Mickeys were awesome tires rain, shine and South Florida heat, but 2 different sets of 4 lasted under 7,700 miles each set, and that’s not so good.
I think when the newness wares off these will be good all around street , strip, corner carvers but time will tell.
We only drive this vehicle about 4,000 miles per year as vehicle is in storage 5 months every year. I was replacing a set of Michelin A/S staggered tires that cost twice as much as these Sumitomo HTR Z III’s.
Tires only last us 4 years here in Florida due to UV and heat causing dry rot. So I figured that not much concern was to be given to mileage ratings. To my surprise the ride was better than the higher price Michelins when new.
Handling was greatly improved as they take the curves remarkably well. The first heavy rain on the interstate was also without a problem and tracked very well. You can’t go wrong for the price.
The Omikron AT tire is designed to maneuver all terrain conditions. Some key features include interlocked and intermediate blocks, two main grooves with notches, and block stepped edges. The Accelera Omikron AT gives you an edge without compromising on comfort, making it a perfect choice for an all-terrain drive.
The Accelera Omikron AT is also available in LT-metric commercial application tire sizes.
I have had these tires on my Tacoma for 2 months now. I live on a dirt road that gets either very rocky or muddy. These tires handle this Az. mud very well. Without them we have had to repair flats on 2 ply tires every 2 weeks, now we have almost 0 flats.
When I bought these tires I questioned them because for 10ply tires at this price I was skeptical. But the title says it all. Second day after I put them on my truck I loaded it up with wet wood and they didn’t even squat.
Time will tell but so far so good. I definitely recommend them if you don’t do a lot of freeway driving.
What a great tire for the price. It handles very well and smooth on the road. To my surprise, this tire puts out a quiet ride. I would definitely recommend this tire to someone on a budget. I purchased 4 and saved $350 compared to another well known brand.
Favored by professional drivers across the world, and professional commuters across the street alike, the MuchoMacho combines value with performance and superior control in dry and wet conditions. Wide circumferential channels combine with large rain grooves to evacuate heavy water from the contact patch, helping increase hydroplaning resistance. Wet traction and stability are further enhanced by the Extreme Silica Compound, along with dynamic biting edges from the distinctive 360 Degree Variable Sipes.
These full-depth and interlocking sipes also complement wintertime traction and combine with biting edges molded into the sides of the circumferential grooves to enhance snow performance. The Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP employs Michelin’s Helio Technology, which is derived from sunflower oil.
This sustainable and biodegradable material helps the tread maintain its flexibility at lower temperatures, ensuring the Pilot All Season 4 ZP’s capabilities, even in colder climates.
I had the AS3s before the purchase of the Michelin AS4s. So far the AS4s are just as good, maybe better. Even Quieter on the road and they grip well in the rain. I have them on an S63 amg which is my daily driver.
My prior AS3s got me to 30k miles with moderate driving. The fronts wore much faster than the rears and barely made it to 30k mi. The AS4s are rated for 45k mi. so time will tell how true to mi they are.
Even with a 30k lifespan, these tires are the best overall tire in my experience. It holds its own in just about every driving condition.
Best tires I’ve ever had on the Si. The Si (though it could also be my driving style?) is very hard on the tires and tires don’t last very long, even tires with 45-55k mile warranty usually last for only 25k miles, before they get bolder than my head, even with frequent rotations.
I currently have over 170k miles on the car and at each previous tire change I tried different brand, usually getting cheaper tires at around $100, last time, Michelin had a rebate and I decided to try them.
best tires ever. However, these Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus did not even last 17k miles. yet well worth the money. grin inducing at every turn. did I mention best tires I ever had? so for my next set, I replaced with the next gen Pilot Sport All Season 4, which are supposed to be even better.
Push your high-end sports car or sporty coupe to new highs with the all-new Pilot Sport All Season 4. Watch what your performance sedan, CUV or SUV can do with a set of ultimate high-performance tires.
Incredible traction on wet or dry roads, or even light snow. The highly anticipated replacement for the top tire in the category, this one has what it takes to compete with the best.
The Westlake is an all-season touring tire specially designed for drivers seeking year-round performance, enhanced responsiveness, and durability. Known as the best-seller in the Westlake lineup, the RP18 can fit a variety of vehicles including sedans, coupes, minivans, and crossovers.
Its smaller range can also fit older vehicles with smaller fitments. The Westlake RP18 features a symmetrical tread pattern which give the tires multiple options for rotation giving it an extended tread life.
Its intricate siping and tread pattern was designed to evacuate water efficiently so you maintain traction even on wet weather. To help with lateral traction while enhancing stability is the vertical siping pattern.
To top it off is its all-season touring tread an siping which deliver all-season performance. The Westlake RP18 is available at T, H, or V-speed rating.
I bought these based on price, 4 years ago for like $30-40 each, so it was a gamble but they had good reviews. They were for a summer classic car so I can’t comment on snow traction. But they have about 26k on them, and show little to no wear, having been rotated just once.
They have been very durable, no cracks or anything. They ride smooth and quiet, aside for a little bit of a shimmy between 60 and 65 that’s never changed. I think that’s a balancing issue, but I rarely go that fast so I haven’t taken them back to the shop.
Overall they have exceeded my expectations. I have had more expensive tires fall apart with fewer years and miles than these, and these are still going strong and looking great!.
I have had a great experience with these tires, especially compared to other brands. I have managed to avoid 2 fender benders and the murder of several squirrels which run rampant in my neighborhood.
Westlake tires may seem cheap but they work well. Only driven in Florida so no snow experience but plenty of rain. For reference, other brands I have purchased are Michelin, Hankook and Yokohama, all for the same car.
The tires are good after the break in period. When it’s new and you need to brake quickly to a stop, it makes the car slide. I drove very carefully to make sure I never needed to stop abruptly. In the first 6 months of breaking in the tires, I once needed to stop quickly due to yellow light turning red and the car slid.
I was driving at 40 mph and needed to stop within 100-200ft for a light and it slid. That was scary. Made me drove more carefully. After the tires break in. No more sliding problem.
Sumitomo HTR Enhance WX2 is a premium performance all-season touring tire made for sedans, coupes, and family vehicles that seeking a sporty appearance, predictable handling and all-season traction. Love em, although only 300 miles since buying, these are a dream – car used to drift ever so slightly towards road center (up camber) I thought I needed a wheel alignment although unsupported by the old tires perfectly even wear.
On my car this would have been a $300 ordeal (no one in town can do European car alignment). Now she runs straight as an arrow. Road noise minimal (my old Yokohamas Geolanders) were also quiet so comparable to expensive rubber.
On wet roads excellent grip just as good as Yokohamas. On a snowy patch up the mountain had very good grip also like my old Yokohamas. Price wise, well almost 40% cheaper than the Yokohamas. So all in all at the moment I think these are a brilliant find/purchase.
Ordered these tires online and just had them installed this morning. My Armada seems to go thru tires fast. The last set of Goodyear I had started wearing out around 20k miles. Given the cost of tires in this size I was having a hard time picking a new tire.
I went with these because of the hefty discount, I’ve never found tires in this size for less than $130 a tire. As soon as the technician rolled these out today he said “Wow! These are nice tires. ” I told him the price and he was stunned.
They are also directional (which I wasn’t familiar with) but it basically means they are side specific. Just riding home from Walmart I was shocked at the noticeable difference in the grip on the road and handling.
They are also quieter than my previous tires. Time will tell how they hold up but I’m seriously considering ordering a second set to keep for next time. I’d say for this price you can’t go wrong. They are better than the original stock tires and the Wranglers I replaced with last time.
I didn’t give 5 stars just because I don’t have enough time with them to truly give that extra star.
Nice Tires. I looked for some tires that would fit both the tire height and width and I didn’t have much clearance on my truck. After comparing and measuring both the tires and wheels I decided to go with these.
Being the tires will never see bad weather and I really liked the tread design. One other thing. The company that these were shipped with actually delivered the tires to my side entrance garage instead of just leaving them on my porch.

I purchased these tires one year ago exact I put 1000 miles on them and they were already worn down on my 2019 Volkswagen take one. They have to be the worst tires that I’ve ever had because you could only get 8000 miles out of a 50,000 mile warranty tire? Do yourself a favor and think twice they handled poorly, they’re not all what they’re cracked up to be in Michelin is in the process of giving me some kind of a credit.
I probably got defective tires that sat in a warehouse or something. Will never buy this brand again.
The conclusion of tires for stretching is that they are an effective way to improve flexibility and range of motion. However, it is important to warm up before stretching, cool down after stretching, and to not overdo it.
