Most star and solar system based puzzles are guaranteed difficult dark sections, so I hesitated on getting this for a while, but this puzzle was a lot easier than I thought it would be, in a good way.

I was afraid the differences between the dark inner swirls wouldnt be noticeable enough especially since I do puzzles in low lighting but the colors are surprisingly vibrant. Theres a lot of shimmer to the pieces as well, and while theyre glossy, the colors come thru the glare really well.

Other things I thought would be a pain that werent so bad were the mixed color animals and the skin tones. The shades were all different enough from another I was able to tell them apart easily while sorting.

The pieces look very high quality, I only had a few false fits but they were easy to spot and fix. I never got stuck, there was always something to work on. The hardest part for me was maybe finishing off the constellations, but with the large printout available for reference, I had no real issue.

I felt like I was always making progress. And it looks great, the glow in the dark is not why I bought it, but it is pretty cool. I think Ive bought near 20 puzzles recently and this is definitely one of my favourites.

I bought this early to start preparing for Christmas, so my children haven’t played with it yet, but I took a sneak peek and it’s perfect… they’re going to love it! They’re intrigued by the night sky and it’s wonderful that this is glow in the dark.

I see it holding their interest longer than other puzzles they love. I plan to pair it with other constellation books and learning toys!.

This is a gift for my sister-in-law’s partner. I was shopping for their children and saw this for her! Bella Luna coming in hot with gifts for all ages. Truly! I can’t wait to give it to her. It will be a hit.

Bonus that it’s a woman owned company and it is made with such care.

Love the design and durability. Keeps cold very cold and hot items hot for impressive time. However, even though i realized they are only 20 ounces. just noy nearly big enough to hold eniugh beverage with ice.

Love my new Steel tumbler. The galaxy looks 3d and I’m teaching my grandkids star formations. The tumbler keeps my ice for over two days even in my desert heat. The lid fits tightly.

The star design is so beautiful on this cup! It keeps drinks very cold. The lid is great because you can toss the cup in a backpack and go – without worrying that you’ll spill your drink! Also, the cup fits comfortably in any cup holder.

I’ve always wanted to know more about my zodiac sign. As a Christian, I was cautious about reading the book but what I discovered is that as much as God created me, he created the heavens and earth. And yes, I am who HE has created and my environment but so much more was revealed to me in this quick read that makes me understand the day/time and season I was born and how that ties into who I am.

I loved this book. Funny thing was, my sister showed up one day and we both had the exact same book in hand, although hers was the Gemini version. We both talked about how the statements in the books rang true in our lives.

Quick and great read for getting to know a little more about your sign!

I am a virgo and this book literally speaks facts about me and helps motivate myself to live to true virgo standard. It was reasonably priced and in general just captivating and interesting.

The cover is very sleek and its design is nice. The book is very well organized, however, it’s a little thinner than I thought it would be.

Zodiac by Romina Russell is a captivating fast sci-fi thriller that holds your attention and interest as soon as you began to read. Russell’s creation of a world of space travel and galaxy torrential complications is just; well stellar inventive and daring.

With so much potential; having a great concept and plot theme Russell put all her efforts into making an amazing book that is not only a great first time read but an awesome re-read as well. I had to re-reading this book because I read it when it first came out in 2014 and with the sequel soon coming Wandering Star I have decided to read it again and refresh my memory of why I like this book so much and why I kept it on my shelves.

Russell has created a world where the Zodiac star constellations (Cancer Libra Sagittarius Aeries etc. ) are planets. Settlers from Earth traveled to colonized this new solar system creating these new societies with their own personalizes cultures and beliefs around the Zodiac planets.

They even have their own physical characterizations as well. Set in the future we are introduce to our protagonist and also the narrator (first person and real time narration) Rho aka Rhoma Grace a 16-year-old girl from the planet of Cancer (House of Cancer) who is currently a student at the academy of Zodai on Cancer’s closest and largest moon Elara.

Rho is studying the art of star reading and planet constellation history (though this is just an easy way for readers to learn the back story to the constellations cultures beliefs and the world that the story is based around).

Eventually we find the Rho is special and that is when the story really starts to pick up. Yes Rho does become the center of a love-tri but Russell has created so much around the loveñtri that is un-noticeable.

(so many always force of the love characters have in books but with Zodiac this part is not a main part of the book; it wasn’t even addressed until the end). The world-building in this book is just incredible and stunning.

And besides the beautiful cover art; Zodiac has an interactive website with information about the Zodiacs and the people in the galaxy. The website is so bright and full of so much imagination that it is hard not to get sucked into Russell’s immense galaxy.

Rho is unique concept as a character. Russell has portrayed her to be flawed yet likeable basically creating a relatable character. Though some of Rho decisions were frustrating to read Russell made sure that Rho made those decisions with the right intentions in mind.

Rho embraces the changes in her life and difficult as some of them are Rho stands firm and accepts what comes her way with determination never changing herself or her point of views on the issues at hand.

The other characters add to the beauty of the story and give more dimensions to the plot and Rho as well. Though there is a lot of exciting moments in Zodiac there is also a lot of information. But Russell has stacked this enormous amount of info neatly within these pages and I find that I am lost in the confusion of this story a necessary evil to understanding the plot.

But Russell creates an amazing story about the world and the characters that it is hard not to get involved in the plot and theme of this story. The detailing and flow of writing is so relaxed and easy like it was meant to fit together.

I am glad that I re-read this book and found myself enjoying it all over again. There is no doubt that this book will continue to have a place on my shelf and that when Wandering Star is out in stores I will definitely be placing a copy beside Zodiac.

I highly recommend this wonderful read to all fans of sci-fi thrillers dystopian/utopian concepts enthusiasts and anyone just looking for a really creative fun read. Read more at Geek Girl On The Page.

Zodiac by Romina Russell is the first book in her new YA Sci-Fi/ Fantasy series which though different can also be considered dystopian. This storyline revolves around astrology with each sign being its own House.

There are 12 Houses and the world building in this book is nothing short of fantastic. We meet our heroine Rhoma as a young child who is constantly being taught by her mother about the galaxy the houses and how to use her powers to foresee the future through the psy energy.

We next meet Rho as a teenager (16) who is practicing in a schoolroom prior to a test. Rho doesn’t do things exactly the way the teachers at school expect her to. When she does take the test looking at the galaxy she sees a dark mass which no one else can see.

The teachers do not believe Rho until a short time later the House of Cancer (Rho’s house) is attacked with fragments effecting other houses. Each house has a guardian and during the attack on Cancer the Guardian was killed leaving so few to follow.

Rho is put through a series of tests by the surviving leaders of Cancer and to her shock she is made the new Guardian. Rho sees more dark mass coming and forces herself to use her powers to see what is causing these unknown attacks.

As she reaches out through the psy energy Rho senses someone else out there. Someone who is controlling the dark mass someone evil. When Rho investigates a long ago myth about a 13th House she begins to realize that the myth is true.

Ochus and the 13th house is real and they have come to destroy or take over all the other houses. But no one will believe Rho. What follows is an amazing story as Rho is determined to visit all the houses to warn them of the impending attacks and the true nemesis that they will face.

During this journey we meet the two men that will help her. Mathias is a top Lodestar of Cancer who has been assigned to protect her. Hysan is a young Libra ambassador with knowledge of advanced technology who immediately becomes her friend.

Together they spend the exciting at times frustrating journey in this difficult task to make people realize that a myth is real. Needless to say this is an almost impossible task but Rho despite her failure is determined to keep pushing forward.

It is an exciting and very well written tale of a futuristic world along the Zodiac solar system which I found very interesting. Each of the Houses have different specialties and as we travel through the planets/houses we get to meet some really different and nice characters along the way.

Yes this is a love triangle but not truly acted upon. We just know that she cares about both men. Romina Russell has given us a different type of dystopian storyline in a Sci-Fi world that is really fascinating.

After reading this book which was difficult to put down I have come to respect Russell for her ability to put this together so well. The ending was sort of a cliffhanger that us anxiously waiting to return to this world.

I cried so many times. This book is a great read. I suggest it to everyone. Will be giving as a Christmas present to many of my friends.

All I can say about this stuff is that my boyfriend and I went to Colorado on vacation and our neighbor kept our dog, Peanut. When we picked him up he smelled SO good! So I asked her what she used to bathe him.

She brought this bottle over to my house. Peanut can literally go outside and run around all day in the hot sun, off and on for 3 days, come inside, and still smell wonderful. I’m not sure how good it works for fleas, but he smells great!.

I Bought this because topicals and flea collars were not enough to keep off the fleas on our Rottie. We bathed him, using as directed and sure enough, after he dried and was combed, dead fleas were coming off.

Now I will say you must keep up the regiment because sure enough, even going out just to pee, fleas may jump back on. Don’t forget fleas and catch a ride on people too! Ugh!!!!.

Alright look. if you’re pup sheds, hotspots or in an environment of ticks and fleas outdoors. this stuff is THE STUFF! BONUS. It SMELLS GREAT! I have fostered and up to 11 pitties at a time and not a hair in the house! Cleans conditions and protects your fur babies and when they do start to shed the hair is soft and vacuums right up and off.

There are plenty of misspelled words, missing or wrongly placed punctuation marks. There are some entire paragraphs without a single full stop. Some words are repetitive in a sentence, which could have been easily replaced to make the statement easier to follow.

I was really excited when purchased the book and looked forward to reading it, only to be left very dissapointed. I’ve stopped reading it after 30 or so pages, because I couldn’t properly follow the narrative due to the previously mentioned mistakes.

My son wanted this book for a psychology assignment. He is so engrossed in the book I have to remind him to get some sleep. He’s glad there are pictures to help illustrate the facts.

Very cheap considering the book was not used and it came from the USA. Lots of information that is not in the film. Well worth a read.

My pool is pebblecrete and was built around 1997. I’m loving the MX8. It was easy to assemble and set to work. I followed the instruction and manually vacuumed the leaf debris from the pool first. Now after months of no auto cleaner in the pool it’s almost sparkling after just a few days.

It’s been a very long time since any suction cleaner has managed to climb the walls so I’ve spent some time (err wasted time!) just watching it do its job. I was at first hesitant in buying the product as all I could find were negative reviews, but then found a lot of positive ones.

I’m so glad I made the investment. Its so quiet unlike my previous suction cleaners that you could hear working. Now I’m saving up to buy the suction cleaning kit to enhance the cleaning of my pool.

This MX6 cleaner is replacing a ten years old Hayward – Pool Vac XL. I had a little higher expectation based on the design and videos on youtube. I think the cleaner itself is well made and it “walks” the bottom of the pool well, but the hoses are flimsy and the cleaner does not work with normal hoses that are not made by the same brand.

I have to order an adapter to work with my existing well-built Hayward hoses, but just found out that the normal hoses would flip the cleaner in the water without having a weight attached to the hose near the cleaner.

I guess it is probably due to the extra weight of the normal heavier built Hayward hoses. Overall, I still recommend this cleaner IF one does not mind replacing the hoses (that come with the cleaner) periodically.

I purchased my Zodiac MX8 just about a year ago now. I wish I hadn’t. At the time I decided I was tired of the cheaper cleaners and wanted to buy something that would be hassle free. At first we loved it, the ability to lower the power usage on top of cutting the cleaning time in half was a real selling point.

Then the problems began, after 3 months it stopped working, took it where we purchased it (Leslie Pools), come to find out the rubber tracks had worn/stretched out, ($35. 00). I said isn’t this under warranty? Apparently not parts “and” labor.

We live in Arizona, we have palm trees and grapefruit tree, they loose their leaves. This thing gets clogged on the smallest of leaves and small debris. The slightest little pebble will lock this thing up.

So just like today the wind blew before the schedule cleaning and I get to go out a half dozen times to unclog it. I checked the reviews on this product before buying it and thought I was making a solid purchase.

Hopefully this will help other people to make their final decision.

The sanitizer came highly recommended by my neighbor so I thought I’d give it a try. When I received it, I was a bit concerned that the stick didn’t appear to be inserted into its packaging correctly.

There apparently are plenty of fakes out there but I checked the other identifying marks and it appears to be legit. The real problem came when I attempted to install the stick into my spas filter. I have a closed top filter that lowers into and screws onto the base of the filter housing.

According to the instructions: “Closed Top: Slide unit in from the bottom. Position unit to rest on shelf inside filter core. ” But then it says “Note: When installed, the Nature2® Spa must be at least 1” (2.

5 cm) above the bottom of the filter to prevent blocking water flow. ” Well, these instructions contradict themselves. Sitting on the shelf inside the filter places it less than 1″ from the bottom of the filter.

In fact, if placed alone inside the filter, the suction from the pump would pull the stick down into the suction pipe as soon as the pump turns on. And this would certainly block the flow of water through the system.

I tried attaching the included support stems but there’s simply no way to get everything to stay lined up and centered while you lower the filter into the filter canister. The only way for this to work would be to include some kind of centering clip to hold the stick in place with an extension stem attached.

Wow what can I say! I wasnt sure what to do I contacted Spa Depot they were absolutely wonderful! I had questions about the maintence for my spa? I was currently using another treatment I didn’t like how it smelled.

I was excited to receive my Taurus tee. until I saw the woman with bull horns on her head (scary). The woman is not of my ethnicity and I would feel weird wearing it. I did not see it during the presentation otherwise I would not have bought it.

I suggest excluding human images until there is more diversity in those images. Otherwise, don’t include them at all.

It’s nicely done! It was a present to my husband and he is exited! This box is bigger than it looks on the picture! It’s a nice size for bracelets, rings and cufflinks. Nice combination of marble and bronze metal! It came in a nice box that doesn’t need any additional wrapper.

Received the TX30 today and put it through its paces for a few hours. Prior to introducing the robot, the pool had a lot of silt and debris on the bottom built up over winter. After a few hours of use, the pool was spotless – like night and day.

I was unsure whether the thing would climb the walls of our fiberglass pool but I need not have worried, it tackled them with ease. The machine is a breeze to deploy and retrieve and the debris basket is easily detached and cleaned.

Also has a relatively small footprint, so easy to store in the pool shed. Very happy customer.

The Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Auto has been around for a number of years, but I believe it’s time for some upgrades. It’s “Jubilee” style bracelet seems fragile, especially due to it’s taper, and as I recall it isn’t warranteed for very long.

I would recommend getting a Zodiac rubber strap if you buy the navy/stainless model. The rubber strap is $100. Also, I believe the crystal is still made of mineral, as is the bezel, and mineral will scratch easily.

These features should be checked online rather than relying on my memory. Some of the Sea Wolfs come with a bracelet and a rubber strap, but their dials are a different color. While the Sea Wolfs are definitely a dive watch, I just couldn’t bring myself to use it that way, because I believe it’s such a beautiful watch.

I was so excited about this watch. I loved the look and that is was quality. However, the band broke after two months of normal wear and the warranty doesn’t cover the replacement. Customer service for Zodiac responded, but ignored the last response that was sent.

So, they are not really concerned with customers being dissatisfied. They got their money and I am sure that their justification is that I should have read the warranty before I made my decision. My issue is if you pay this much for a watch, the warranty should cover the entire item, not just some aspects.

I will not support a brand that will not stand behind its product. Do your research on warranties before purchasing a product from Zodiac. Their suggestion was to provide a 25% discount for a the same band that just failed.

No thanks. I have a Nixon watch and the band broke after three years and they replaced it, no questions asked. Should have just bought another one of those. I’ll go with a company that is more customer focused next time.

This is quite the watch for the money. That being said, I don’t believe this model is a $1,000+ watch, as it was sold for initially. Now that all the hype has died down a bit, finding this watch for anywhere between $400ish and $500 represents a very good value purchase, imo.

Everything about this watch is impeccably executed – dial and applications, handset, case, the cool 20mm-16mm throwback tapered bracelet. Fossil’s STP 1-11 in-house movement is robust and keeps great time.

Is it a nice enough movement to warrant the see-thru display back? In my opinion, no. As a matter of fact, I don’t believe ANY serious diver’s watch should have a display back on it, but that’s just me.

The 53 skin is rated to 200m, and I’m sure the back doesn’t compromise that rating one bit. I got mine for $429 with free shipping, and it is about the best $429 I’ve spent on a watch. I chose the silver/white dial because it is different and it goes really well with the watch’s lume color and handset.

Love this watch, and I would highly recommend it to anybody that wants a really well-executed ‘re-issue’ of sorts to an historic diver. Even though the 53 is new and shiny, it really does look like a NOS diver from the ’50’s!!!!.
