20 Best Tobacco Scented Candle (2022 Updated)

I love love love natures wick candles! I’ve always been a fan of woodwick candles. I love the ellipse candles but I hate spending $31 on them. I even hate spending $15 when on sale. But I’ll take an 18 oz wooden wick candle for $10 heck yeah! I love pumpkin scents as well.

Please please continue to make these!.

I really wanted to like this candle, but it’s been a disappointment. It burns unevenly and so every so often I have to keep relighting one of the wicks! It smells okay but not as nice as other candles.

And despite its numerous warnings, the “crackling” as it burns is actually a little unsettling. Can’t say I recommend it.

I bought two of these candles a little while back when someone returned them, best purchase ever! If you love sweet smelling vanilla candles, this candle is for you. They burn well, and have a relaxing crackling sound.

I wish this was not discontinued so that I could buy 50 more!.

I bought this candle from Macy’s and it’s amazing. I will say, it reminds me of a sage fragrance, but it’s so good that I had to find this company online and create an account to make a review about it.

I’m definitely trying their other candles. It’s a very strong smell, which is something I feel like a lot of candles lack. The jar is very nice and honestly could be repurposed for keeping dried herbs.

It’s also very cheap for such a good quality candle!.

I love the way this candle smells! The blend of tobacco and patchouli is so well done. It’s quite unique. I am so pleased to have a scent that is not sweet or floral. I love the container as well. It will be so fun to reuse the brown glass vessel once the candle is gone.

I also think this candle is a good value. It burns well and should last a long time.

I have been purchasing this scent specifically for about 7 years, and it is my absolute favorite. I have tried MANY candles, and many from Paddywax which have been terrific. I simply always return to this.

The combination in this specific aroma instantly relaxes and warms me whenever I begin to be enveloped in the delicious scent. PLEASE do not EVER discontinue!!!!.

I have the coffee candle from them, and it is my favorite candle I’ve ever purchased. I got it around the start of the year and it still is super strong, and I have half the candle left (I burn it everyday!!?) it also smells like real coffee.

This candle has one wick, which gives it about 48-60 hours of burning in a 22 ounce jar. It can be burned continually. It does not damage wood. The glass is too thick on the bottom. However, the jar is designed to be hanged.

The smell is subtle, yet it permeates the entire living space. If you do not like these scents, dont buy. I tried the candle for the first time and realized it was the same scent my favorite gift store used.

I found this humorous, especially since I buy everything in that store. The smell obviously doesnt hurt. The jar is reusable, and it is very sturdy. Overall, I cant think of a con for this product.

I purchased this as a gift, but am not a fan of the smell it gives off unlit. The container is adorable. Let’s hope that the recipient likes it, and it smells better when lighted.

I don’t buy a lot of candles, but this one was difficult to light because of the narrow top. This may be something that isn’t an issue for most. Smells great, though my sense of smell isn’t sensitive enough to pick up hints of sea salt (which is what I was most interested in).

Hallmark is always a warm welcoming place to go. Greeted with a friendly hello, upon walking through the door, always makes you feel at home! The people who work there have become my friends. They‘re always sooo helpful trying to find the perfect gift you’re looking for.

The store is always getting new & exciting things, which makes it really a fun place to visit!! I come from a big family & it’s a riot because all my sisters shop at Hallmark & my four daughters. We often have to check in with each other, before buying gifts, to make sure we’re not all duplicating items?!! Keep doing what you’re doing.

The best smelling candle I’ve ever bought! A nice subtle smell. I also love the amber glass. It provides a nice ambiance. Amazing!!

I did the whole burn for at least 4 hours (try 8) and the wick was too short from the start so immediately that was a problem and CS did cancel my future orders but did nothing about the $40 candle I had purchased that I can’t even burn.

It tunneled horribly and the wick was completely covered with wax so could not even burn it! I started setting it on a wax warmer to at least get a little use out of it. I’ll stick with Voluspa! On a positive note, the fragrance was beautiful.

Wow!! I love this candle! It really sets the mood – with warm and inviting notes! I love the sensuous, warm floral notes. It has real depth and complexity that is so cozy!

One of my 3 top scents of Votivo! It’s my husband’s favorite! Votivo has the best quality and the scents are all so vagrant.

A fragrance that will elicit good feelings- that’s what it’s all about. I’ve never been disappointed with Paddywax products- fragrances that don’t overpower, but gently wafts thru the air.

This smells great! I was a little hesitant buying online before I could smell it but I’m happy with it. I love the jar it’s in as well and can’t wait to use it after the candle is burnt down.

I would like to share my thoughts. I loved it, let me say that again I loved it. unfortunately, I am a smoker and I have tried almost every candle to eliminate the odor from the cigarettes, but haven’t had the greatest luck.

The aroma it gives out is amazing and it seems to burn forever. Truth is it burned for 12+ hours for 4 days. Word of caution about re-lighting the wicks after it has burned down a bit, use a piece of lit spaghetti to relight the wicks, lighting the one furthest away first.

If you like the scent of sweet pipe tobacco, this is probably the best smelling one I’ve found. I love it and stocked up with 3 of them. I don’t notice a lot of cardamom in the scent. It’s made of soy, which is a plus for me, I try to stay away from paraffin candles for health reasons.

Has two wicks side by side. It’s a good size in a heavy jar.

I love this candle so much! It smells like fresh berries. I’ve purchased this multiple times in the larger 14oz size. I am so pleased to see That Zulily has the 8oz size too. I love to gift this candle as well.

This was the first time I ordered online with DW. This particular one is my favorite bc it is subtle. It also fills the air shortly after burning so it does t need to burn as long. I love the gentle fragrance of this particular scent Will try others bc they seem to be of great quality as well.

Heavy glass can be repurposed. I love black glass candles right now and these serve all the purposes I’m in search of. I have already given as gifts to people and sent link to friends to order.

Although I like the smell of this candle, I do not find the quality to match the cost of the candle. During the first 7-10 burns, I had to dump wax or soak it up to keep the wicks burning. I haven’t experienced this problem with other brands of candles.

If this wick requires special treatment it should be noted in various places. There are no instructions of any kind.

Tobacco Oud is such a comforting fragrance – it makes me want to curl up in a big leather easy chair in front of a fire with a cocktail while the scent soothes the soul! I just need that special “swipe right” from Tinder to share it! I typically order several of these at a time because they often sell-out.

Every candle I’ve owned from P. F. is consistent- from scent throw and quality to burn time. Now that I know how to properly take care of my candles(thanks to some instagram stories/reels) I’ve been experimenting with layering scents and utilizing new ones throughout my day.

The Ojai Lavender came at the perfect time! Working from home is easy most of the time, however some gloomy weather and COVID cases had me feeling trapped. A candle won’t solve everything but it did help transform the feel of my space during some weeks I really wanted to get away and be in some nature.

I really enjoyed the balance of floral and citrus in this candle during my morning routine. The lavender comes through the most, as expected, but it’s followed by a refreshing mint and what I think is lemongrass? It’s a really pleasant combo! While other lavender scents tend to give me a headache or become overpowering after 30-40 minutes the Ojai Lavender remained light and calming for several hours.

I found my favorite combination for the house(especially on gloomy or low days) is Ojai Lavender in my primary workspace and Los Angeles incense in the next room!.

Apple Picking candle Over 30 years ago I moved from California to Massachusetts and we quickly dove head first into enjoying the seasons in ways we never had a chance to before. Our first fall we went to Vermont at the peak of the leaves changing colors to go apple picking.

The cool air, running through crunchy dry leaves with baskets hanging around our necks as we climbed ladders to get the best apples the sun had kissed. After our hard work we retreated to the barn to warm our hands and watch the cider press make fresh apple cider.

I had never tasted anything like it. After I lit this candle I was transported back to this childhood memory. The scent is delicious and not overpowering. As it gently floats through my house I can taste the first tart sip of cider again, hear the leaves crunching and feel the happy memory of enjoying a cool fall day with family.

I had a mini of the bergamot tobacco, that I purchased a very long time ago. Years. I just got around to burning it, and was amazed that the scent stayed strong and true for so long. Also, the mini burned for a very long time–longer than most other high end brands.

This candle is a great value and I will be purchasing it again. Now, let’s talk about the body lotion–I have had several cannisters of the lavender over the years and it remains one of my favorites.

The scent is not overwhelming, and yet it does not fade quickly into obscurity. This brand knows how to scent its products so that they stay true, are not overwhelming, and yet lasting.

I first discovered Archipelago candles at a HEB store display in Houston TX several years ago: I purchased Black Forest and Bergamot Tobacco candles and have been hooked ever since. They last a long time and are intensely fragranced.

They don’t need to be lighted for long to fill a room with a subtle wonderful aroma. I’ve found they don’t even need to be lighted to scent a room. These are the most expertly-made candles I’ve ever found: these are what candles should be like, and I am grateful that Archipelago cares to perfect what a candle can be.

I guess I’m a candle nut: I love the combination of fire and perfume and no other room fragrance systems work as successfully for me. Recently I had another reason to hold Archipelago in high esteem: my order of 2 candles arrived melted and they sent replacements right away.

Archipelago candles are the best!!! Substantial scent, clean burn, nice containers. The Bergamot Tobacco fragrance is hands down the best scent in my opinion. Earthy but not too heavy, crisp with a touch of citrus.

Very distinctive. Coming a close second is Mango Tangerine!!.

I received this as part of a wedding gift. My partner and I just brought it out yesterday and wow, it smells incredible. We both agreed it was a lovely candle for the bedroom. He isn’t a big fan of fussy scents and like things light and easy but instantly loved this scent.

smells exactly as described. almost like brown sugar on top of a reassuring masculine tobacco scent. it’s lovely and VERY POTENT. I can smell it from the next room. It wafts throughout the house. This guy has serious throw.

Lovely seasonal scent (fall winter) but it would please year round. I don’t know who would lack appreciation for this scent so it’d be an awesome house warming gift. Only issue, the price went up by $3.

I think it used to be 12. 99 and now it’s 15. 99. what a crying shame honestly, reflects inflation I suppose. I just can’t justify spending that much on candles that frivolously any more unfortunately.

I really enjoyed the scent and the nice simple chic look of this candle in the store when I bought it but I was a little bit concerned the scent might be too strong. I’m so happy I was wrong on that! The scent when burned is light and delicate and wonderful and cozy and the jar and lid do look lovely.

I would absolutely purchase another of these. My only hesitation is I do feel like I burned through this baby quicker than I’d like, but also maybe that’s just because I’m an Autumn candle fiend.

I have recently fallen in LOVE with this company. ALL of their candles are of the highest quality and, as they claim, “Richly Scented Candles”! I highly recommend this brand, and bought this particular scent because of a previous scent I discovered and realized I couldn’t go wrong with any of their candles.

I just started today using it and I thought there might be more of a pipe smell to it then a candle smell. but then again I only used it for about a half an hour so I’ll light it again sometime and try it for a second time.

Excellent earth material use! Woodsy or spice scent should be primarily used, however. Use Myer Lemon in a more suitable collection.

It has a warmth to it that balances smoky spicy and sweet. I don’t like sweet candles but during the cold months I don’t want anything to fresh or fruity either. This is perfect t.

The Fresh Meyer Lemon scent is my absolute favorite and has become our signature home scent! The vessels are beautiful and I love that they can be repurposed. I highly recommend this scent and all things Paddywax!.

At first I did not agree with the other reviews, so went ahead and brought it thinking this is of decent quality. Unfortunately they were so right and buying this candle was such a waste of money. Even candles from a discount store, their quality is far better than this junk.

There’s no scent to the candle unless you put your face right into the burning candle. The candle tunnelled on the first burn. This is badly made, the candle wick is thin and doesn’t have the strength to burn a pool of wax on first burn.

The candle is too big for the one small wick, which resulted to tunneling. Essentially I’ve just paid £16 for the jar and lid.

The primary scent in this candle is strongly cedar – which is great if you love cedar ( I fortunately do!). I personally don’t detect any of the sweet, fruity notes described, but I’m not a professional candle smeller.

This candle is definitely best for a large space, I feel the scent is overwhelming in places like a bathroom or bedroom. The cast left after the candle is gorgeous, and lasts for hours.

It smelled great and I love the container. That said, the wax kept drowning out the wicks. It was like the wax was melting too quickly. I found I had to keep pouring wax out, then relight the wicks. All rather messy.

I love your products, but would not buy this one again. Sadly, I gave 3 as gifts.

This is hands down my favorite candle. It smells amazing and I get more compliments from friends who come over on this, than I do when I burn Diptyque or other high end brands. Love the beautiful vessel it comes in too.

I recently learned that the Fresh Air, Paperwhites, Clover Scented Candle was going to be discontinued by a store rep, so I stocked up. It is the only candle I use. Clean and simple, not over the top.

I reuse the candle holder for gifting plants when I am done with the candle and people love it!.

I ordered one candle for myself and one to give as a gift. I’d love to order more. The aroma is uplifting, the candle lasts a long time, and the candle holder is pretty and can be repurposed as a planter, which I’m planning to do when the candle is done.

I fist found the candle in a little boutique in Roanoke, IN. It was their favorite scent to burn during the holidays. Everyone who walked asked the same question, “what is that amazing scent”? They always sold out of Icy Blue Pine, so I made it a point to go early October and buy several as they only sold the small jars.

My favorite little boutique is gone now, but I have found you online and can purchase the large 3 wick candle. Now I have started to give them as gifts. The scent is moderate, and reminds me of the holidays and beautiful winter days with a warm fire going and snow outside.

First time I was not delighted with my Votivo purchase. The three wick candle quickly refused to light, and all sorts of tricks have not improved. This has a lovely fragrance though. Hope someone reads this and has an answer.

I absolutely love this candle. The scent is so very special. I have been purchasing this candle for years. I found it first in a cute little shop in a town named Encinitas. A beach town in southern California.

I just wanted to let you guys hear a story regarding this candle. 6 years ago, I had stopped at Garden Ridge to get stuff for my very first apartment and I happened to pick up two candles called Plantation Tobacco.

They were the only two left. I burned them all day and night b/c the scent of those candles were AMAZING! Needless to say, I tried to find them again at Garden Ridge and there were none. So every time I went to a place that sold candle I would smell everything I thought would be even remotely close to Plantation Tobacco.

5 years have passed and I walked into the Ulta in Irving Tx and, like always, happened to walk in the aisle were the candles reside. Being that all Fall flavors/scents, etc. are taking over stores I figured I’d see what they got.

Low and behold, on the very bottom shelf, I see “Bergamot Tobacco” I swear to you I dropped by curling iron, knelt down and open the lid like a crackhead! The smell! Ahhhh, that smell! I bought three 5oz soy candles and plan to burn the heck out of them when I get home! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making this scent!!!! I hope you guys NEVER stop making it! The memories of friends that have since passed is in this scent and I’m so glad to have them flood back now that I have this smell back.

Ohhhh my goodness. this is by far, one of my favorite scents! I know that the “Tobacco” description may throw some people off. But it’s a soft, warm, welcoming scent. It even has a touch of sweetness to it! Bergamot Tobacco is a MUST TRY! Suitable for men and women.

My two favorite candles are: Musk and Teakwood, and Apples and Maple Bourbon. Musk and Teakwood remind of those great summer nights where the worries of the world seem so small. It makes me want to get outside, gather around a small fireplace, and enjoy great conversation with friends! Apples and Maple Bourbon remind me of crisp, cool, fall evenings where I grew up in Oregon.

And it makes me want to gather with family in the warmth of my home as I reminisce wonderful memories while looking forward to the adventures in my future. These candles have such a pleasant smell! I keep them at my place and in my office.

They provide a calming presence which helps me relax and rest assured no one is walking in to an unpleasant scent when they come see me. And with the struggles of COVID continuing in our country, these candles offer a bit of relief during this crazy time! I received the evergreen eucalyptus candle as a gift and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scent is soft and easy. Not overpowering, but adds a sense of beauty and calm to a space. I also appreciated the quality of the candle and that has been made with simple ingredients.
