20 Best Tonneau Cover F250 (2022 Updated)

Fantastic cover. Very surprised and pleased. Read on to find out more. I have a 2006 Ford F350 – Long Bed Crew Cab and accessories are typically expensive for this truck. My son told me about this cover.

He has a friend who bought one for his Ford F-150 Long Bed and highly recommended it. I’ve wanted a cover for the truck bed for quite some time but I was unwilling to spend a thousand dollars or more so I was a bit skeptical about a cover that was priced below $250.

00, but decided to give it a try. WOW!!!! The cover installed in less that fifteen (15) minutes. It looks good, works great and is weather proof (through several heavy downpours) so far. I inspected this cover and was surprised at the engineering that went into this.

Very clever design, well thought out.

I bought this cover for a long 2,400+ mile family vacation from DFW to Sarasota Fl, during the gulf’s apparent rainy season. I can’t stress enough what a good investment this Tonneau cover proved to be.

It allowed for easy in-and-out access to the bed of the truck, and kept all of our luggage and other valuables dry thru many heavy rains. The fabric is thick and strong enough to handle all of our junk pressed up against it, from our filled-to-capacity truck bed.

I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a tonneau cover. I expect it to last for many years to come. We’ve had this cover for over a year now, and it is still holding strong.

We leave it on the truck almost all of the time, and it is still just as good today as it was when it was new. I am still very happy with this cover and would still highly recommend it.

I had never heard of this brand before but I couldn’t resist the price. This cover is top of the line. The quality is just as good or better than the big name covers that cost twice as much. Very easy to install.

It took longer to get the cover out of it’s box than it did to install it on my pickup. The fit is perfect. There was an additional tailgate seal included but it’s totally unnecessary. The cover fits tightly all the way around the bed without any extra seals.

There was also a storage bag included that wasn’t listed in the item description. Kind a nice little surprise. All in all I’m completely satisfied with this cove.

Made from Aluminum. I have to say the installation was easy, it fits good and looks good but just after I did the installation it rained and each corner leaks into the bed area. I am going to go to my local hardware store to get some rubber seal tape and try to use it to seal better to my plastic bed top area.

I will then see what I can do to plug the gaps in the corners. I kinda expected it would require some fabrication support on my part but it still is a little disappointing. One other note, my kit came with 3 large foam blocks added because of the 2021 Silverado it is going on.

These attached to the underside of the 2nd section to keep it off the glass when in the up position. Not a big deal but when closed these do hang down in the bed area and can be knocked off if you slide in anything tall enough to hit them.

This was not noted in the description when I ordered it.

Overall I have been really pleased with the decision to purchase from AAG. The shipping label for my unit was printed the same day I ordered and it was picked up and shipped the next morning. Shipping took four days from MO to CO.

Installation was pretty straight forward and fairly simple. While I think it could be installed by one person it goes faster and is a little easier to do it with a little help. The shipment came in two boxes.

One box was the fold-able top and the other box was the two side rails. When I unpacked the side rails they were individually wrapped in plastic and I noticed that a portion of the gasket material had come loose and was stuck to the plastic bag it was in.

It was pretty simple to remove from the plastic and reattach to the side rail. All parts were in the box. Installation time was right at 1 hour and 15 minutes. The tools I used for installation were ratchet/socket, pliers, wire cutter, Phillips & flat head screwdrivers, torque wrench and scissors.

I really like the fact that I can now carry items in the bed and know they are secure because of the locking tailgate.

There are numerous tutorials online so the cover went together super easy, just under an hour. The cover appears to be constructed of quality materials and built with care. The cover is exactly what I was looking for from a security and aesthetic standpoint, however, the cover leaks significantly from various places.

I understand that no tonneau cover is completely waterproof but I am disappointed in the covers ability to keep things in the bed dry. After parking the truck outside in the rain for roughly 4 hours, the cover allowed a decent amount of water to enter the bed.

(See attached photos) I checked the drains and they do work, however, it appears the water is entering through the horizontal bracing on the underside of the cover. The cover is great but I am having reservations on putting anything that I don’t want to get wet in the bed (I.

e. luggage, tools etc. ).

This is the first tonneau cover I have purchased and installed. So keep that in mind when reading my review. Quality in both workmanship and materials are very good for this price range. Hopefully I’ll get 5+ years of use out of this cover.

Easy installation taking me less than 30 mins while I took my time. Perfect fit on my truck and JMHO, but I think it looks great. I would purchase again and have no problems recommending the Tyger T1 Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Cover.

I just installed this cover so this is just an initial review. The T1 Soft Roll Up Cover seems to be well made. After watching a few videos, installation was easy and quick. Perfect fit on my truck. JMHO, it looks great on my truck.

I believe it will do the job that I expect it to. Time will tell on how well it holds up, but I’m hoping to get 5+ years out of it.

I bought this for my husband and he was happy. I know he was happy with the purchase because he never lets an opportunity go to find something wrong with a product and he only had good things to say.

He commented that it was easy to install and fit great.

Purchased my Leer tonneau cover from AAG and it arrived on schedule. Opened the box and found the cover to be of high quality. After reading the instructions and cleaning the bed I got to installing the cover.

The cover was easy to install. I placed a thick rubber seal at the front leading edge of the bed to help insure a more water tight seal. After completing the installation the cover did not lay flat on the bed rails particularly at the second panel joint from the cab.

I called for technical assistance and ended up speaking with a person at the manufacturing plant. He advised to remove the three plastic “spacers” between each panel joint ensuring me that the cover would not leak.

When opening and closing the cover these pieces would come loose causing me to question my decision to go with the Leer tonneau cover. But presto! This did the trick. The cover lays flat and looks amazing.

The CYNC latch system works flawlessly and is the best system on the market. Glad I went with the Leer and AAG.

This is a well engineered product. It even has adjustments for the upright supports so you can located them to your needs. This was needed for the cover to meet with the uprights of my Adarac racks. Some other sites listed this as an inside fit cover and does not cover stake pockets.

This is not entirely correct. It does cover the stake pockets by about a 1/4 inch and the side rails by about an inch. I was able to adjust the rails and uprights of the Adarac so all works well, with about 3/16 clearance on the sides.

The overlap design of the cover to box and the large rubber seal/dust cover at box front makes this a clear winner. I highly recommend this cover.

Pros: more clearance in truck bed due to slightly higher than most low profile covers. No loose parts or adhesives like other covers. The latch system is nice compared to competitors with wire pulls.

No drain tubes. Simple install. Cons IMO: slight leaking but not much. Rain flap by cab flaps on interstate and makes annoying sound. I used 3m auto tape to secure it to truck bed and that solved it.

Water puddles on cover after rain.

The first cover arrived damaged-one of the bars was bent and did not lay flat when the cover was unrolled. Also, one corner cover that goes over the tailgate broke off in my hands. I reported the problems and received excellent customer service with the replacement.

When the replacement arrived none of the bars were bent, but the same corner cover was already broken off when I unrolled the cover the first time. I gave up and gorilla-glued it to the corner. I love the cover and don’t regret buying it.

But, BAK needs to work on shipping so the corner cover isn’t compromised when it arrives. However, it is what the pictures look like and I felt like I got the product I ordered. Except for the corner, the quality is great.

Easy install, fits well, good materials. The quality control on it or potentially the design itself is not so good. When rolling up the teeth will on the closest few slates come out of being locked and I have to finangle it to go back into place to lock it back down which sometimes takes several minutes.

There’s also a lot of glue on around the metal where it gets hung up, which could be the cause or a jerryrig during QC. The other thing is the 2 tabs at the rear pop off really easy and make it easy access to the latches, which make it not so secure for break ins.

I have a 2016 ram 1500 big horn with the ram box. The roll back cover is poorly engineered! One of the rail was cut thinner than the other and it was very difficult to slide it onto the factory rails! I ask that you have some assembly skills before installing it yourself! Also, I know it’s not 100% water proof but this cover had gaping holes that allowed water to enter as if I didn’t have the cover on it.

I had to make modifications myself to close up the holes. Overall I like the cover but I think the company should re-engineer this cover!.

I wanted a hard folding cover. I switched from a soft folding cover. A selling point for me was less labor cleaning the hard cover. Wash it and your done. The soft covers you washed them and cleaned them with tonno tonic.

This kind of it sticky. Then dust stuck,making it look dirty again. The flex is easy to install. I did have to make the drain holes. No factory holes. I like it ! I think it was worth it in cleaning time alone.

Title says it all, the cover is excellent, I couldn’t be happier. AA had a great sale which convinced me to go with the UC Flex rather than other brands. The fiberglass top looks great, and seems to be very solid.

Install only took 30 minutes with the help of 10yr old son. Have only had it for 2 wks, it hasn’t rained yet but washed the truck a couple times with no water intrusion. I would expect a heavy rainstorm may get a few leaks at the front of the bed.

Regardless I wouldn’t hesitate to buy!.

Not as sexy as the flat surface aluminum covers, but not as expensive either. Went on in 30 minutes and fit was great. Not waterproof, but water well controlled. With a locking tailgate, better than a car trunk by far.

As usual fast shipping and great Summit pricing.

Everything arrived on time and with no damage, contrary to some other reviews. I had all of the necessary parts in the box and started the install right away. The instructions are absolute crap. They’re written for two different types of beds and they don’t really differentiate between the two.

It took me and my buddy about an hour and fifteen minutes of trial and error to finally get everything in place just right but the end result is great. It looks beautiful, closes and seals tight, and it even has small rings on top so you can still secure light cargo above the bed.

It’s a nice cover. I’ll also add that I haven’t had even the slightest increase in MPG in the week or two I’ve had it. I read a lot of reviews claiming 1-2 mpg increases which is part of the reason I bought it, however I haven’t even seen a 0.

This is my third backflip and they are the best fit and function available. However it seem they have a few manufacturing problems or final quality check issues. My front mounting holes where the securing carriage bolts go thru we’re off set by almost two inches.

Besides the look being off I had to redrill the front bracket. I bought my cover thru auto anything. They. y are the best and contacted bac industries and to both their credit are replacing the cover.

I just purchased a new truck and like the G2 enough to buy it again. Too new to talk about quality, but based on former cover I am sure I will be pleased with it. Installation was easy. took about an hour because I had to trim the drop-in liner to make the rails fit.

I am not sure about the plastic clip latches to keep the folded cover in place, but it beats nothing, which is what was lacking with my old cover. Again to soon to tell.

Having used a previous BakFlip product I had high expectations for this product. While overall it is a high quality product that is well made, I had a couple of issues that kept it from being a 5 star review.

There was slight product damage that appears to have been caused either in shipping or original packaging causing small impressions where the panels overlapped within the packaging and rubbed on each other during transport or storage.

Not bad enough to return but noticeable. I also had difficulty with the latching mechanism on one of the panels. It was a little too wide and despite multiple adjustments it still sticks during latching and unlatching.

I’m hoping this will improve as the product gets used more and the latches start to wear. Installation is fairly straightforward and accomplished easily if you watch the videos available on the BakFlip website but an extra set of hands is helpful because it is a heavy product to lift into position on your own.

I am still a huge fan of BakFlip despite these issues and would purchase again. Auto Accessories Garage made the purchase easy and straightforward as usual.

Great product. Was unsure of fit bit rides above my fifth wheel and tool box. Keeps everything secure under cover. Easily installed with two people, takes about 35 mins with socket/ratchet, screwdriver and isopropyl alcohol.

Cover is almost exactly the width of my bed, in order to close, I have to wiggle each panel into place. The latches for the cover could not be adjusted to close. I had to re-drill, and reposition all of the latches.

My kit did not have all of the angle shims to correctly install the rails. BAK is telling me that the parts that I need two more of do not exist. What??? The support rods to hold the cover are flimsy, and one of the brackets have come off of the poorly riveted frame.

Not happy.

I have a Chevy Colorado 2021, I ordered the MX4 Bakflip for the 5′ bed. First issue was that the instructions did not say to put shims under the side rails to get them straightened up if the sides of the bed are angles a bit.

This advice was on a separate piece of paper and I did not see until I was done. So that was kind of my fault. Second issue was when I put the weather strip sealing foam on the rear of the bed, it was not tall enough to make a seal against the bed cover.

It seamed like the side rails of the truck stuck up too high and there was a gap between the sealing strip and the cover. So I went and bough some more weather stripping, glued the two weather strips together, and stuck it back down.

This time it sealed as it was double the height. Third issue was when I adjusted the bed cover so it sealed on the tailgate, it barely covered the weather stripping on the rear. I stuck it down as close as I could to the rear (but not so much that it was falling off the rounded edge of the bed).

I made it work, but the cover could have been about. 5″ longer to make a much better seal. Overall review it that the quality seems OK, it looks very sharp, and being able to shut the bed cover or tailgate first without messing up the seal is awesome.

But the negatives are that it will not be as easy as they make it look in the videos. It will take a bit of thinking and problem solving. Also it has not rained since I put it on, so I cannot review how water proof it is, but judging by the sealing in the corners, there will be water getting in.

I ordered this for our 2016 Chevy Colorado after seeing one on a relative’s truck. It looked sleek and functional, and more practical and simiplier than a roll-up product we have on another truck. After reviewing several installation videos (BAK Industries and others), it was indeed quite easy to install.

I do have a couple of comments that keep it from being a Five-Star product. First, the cover seems to be a couple of inches short for the Colorado bed. It covers the tailgate and the weatherstip bumping on the bulkhead, but just barely.

On the bulkhead, it is the rubber lip that covers the weatherstripping, not the cover itself as was shown in all photos and installion videos. Second, the level of finish is not comparable to other products.

In this I refer to the rear ends of the two rails. They are simply cut off with bright, and sharp aluminum showing. Other products install a plastic cover to both keep the black appearance and protect against the sharp edges.

Overall, I think this will perform well. I powerwashed the truck after installation and the bed did remain relatively dry — quite a surprize. It does have the nice sleek look and the secuirty features and easy access via the tailgate are good.

The first cover I received had shipping damage (bent side rail, small dents in one panel) as well as a small cut in one of the cover gaskets that was likely missed by QC. BAK replaced the whole cover and the second one was received in near perfect condition (just one small dent in one of the side rails that doesn’t affect the cover and is not visible when the cover is closed).

The cover went on without any issues. The instructions are clear enough but be sure to put the cab/bulkhead seal at the back edge not towards the cab. Also, the angle shims (2019 Chevy Colorado) need to be put between the metal bed rail and the plastic fascia, not between the fascia and BAK’s side rail like the shimming sheet suggests.

Lastly, when installing the star knobs and bolts you need to drill a hole in the foam gaskets on the bottom side of the panel. It took a little fussing to get the cover perfectly square but once it’s installed it operates easily and looks great.

I just installed it today so can’t say how water proof it is but the gaskets look like they will do a fair job of keeping water out.

I chose the MX4 from bakflip because it has the look and style I want for my Tacoma. The fit and quality is great Easy to install and took about a hour. shipping was good for 2021 it came 6 days before promised.

I recommend thos cover for anyone wanting or needing a tonneau cover to keep things in their truck bed dry and out of sight, locking the tail gate and you should be good to go. i still have use of the entire bed when needed and can be removed in minutes if needed.

The hardest thing to accept when adding a tonneau cover is that when focusing on it, it isn’t perfect. I have tailgated for years and admired many pickups never saying “that’s a nice truck but that cover looks horrible”.

I just accepted it as a utility no different than mud flaps or a trailer hitch. So the first thing to accept is the fact that you are going to be super critical because its your truck. If you want a nice looking cover, get the single piece hard top and have it painted to match- but then your pickup is just another auto with a big trunk.

The fold-ups and role-ups maintain the utility of a pick-up while allowing you to temporarily protect valuables. I like that this one can be easily folded back or removed. This does not make your bed a safe.

If someone wants your stuff, they can break a window or pry off this cover. The question is how much do you want them to damage your vehicle and cover in the process? Would I leave expensive equipment in it over night? Probably not, but nor would I leave them in the cab.

It does keep valuables out of sight. I can see how it could be easily opened with simple and prevalent “thief tools” without damaging the truck. I’m contemplating countermeasures to make this harder, but again, there’s no way to stop a pry bar and then you’ve got broken parts and scratches.

I have to accept that the purpose of a bed cover is to not entice the lazy crook and to provide weather protection. I’m guessing if a thief with no tools jumps up and down on any of these, they’re going to give way.

Anyone heard of an ultrasonic security sensor for the bed? Maybe can at least make some noise. Bottom line: For tailgating, hauling the fishing gear or hunting toys concealed and protected from the weather while maintaining the ability to move a fridge, you can’t beat this.

I bought this for my 2017 f-150 about 2 days after I bought the truck. At first I Loved it! My family and I drove my truck to South Florida on vacation and it kept our belongings dry through alllll the rain (it rained 3 out of the 5 days we were there).

However I use my truck for work and use my cover daily. After about 1 1/2 years of use, my cover started leaking. I had to have it realigned. Then eventually I replaced the foam seal around it. Then the screws that held the wire underneath that you pull to open/unlock the cover, Started pulling loose.

Now all of my wire handles are just hanging. I even tried replacing them but it didn’t hold. So I feel like it wasn’t made for regular use. And now no matter what I do, it leaks. Also the clamps that attach the cover to the bed rails keep loosening and falling off.

I’m constantly having to reattach them or tighten them up. I actually got on this website to find another cover lol.

This is a nice tri-fold. I’m very impressed with the quality, appearance, fit and bang for my buck. This really tops off the look of my pickup. I noticed after I had put it on when I was under it tightening the clamps for the rails and the front section it was definitely cooler underneath it, so maybe in this hot AZ sun my coolers and equipment under it won’t be destroyed.

Can’t wait to load my truck up and head to the hills with this cover to give it more of a test.

overall good quality however it arrived with a broken buckle clip and a missing bed rail spacer necessary for installation. lost 2 weeks unable to install cover due to this. still waiting on missing spacer to arrive.

manufacture needs to pack product better for shipping and improve quality control on its products. lost a lot of time making phone calls just to remedy this situation just to save a couple hundred dollars over other products on the market.

would probably spend a little more on something else to avoid this situation if I had a do over. it seems to be built well and it is priced well for a hard cover tri fold. so i have mixed feelings. will probably feel better when its finally installed on my truck.

The color matched my vehicle perfectly. The instructions were clear and specific to my truck. A couple of minor adjustments and the cover operates flawlessly. It really looks great.

1st off Autoanything has the best customer service of any auto after market products out there. This is my 2nd large purchase and they go above and way beyond to make you happy. As far as the cover, the paint is a perfect match and it fits like a glove.

The directions could be a little better. Also, Undercover needs to put more time and effort into packaging the cover. The cardboard box its shipped in isn’t very sturdy and the cover is only wrapped in a very thin material.

Easy install and fits as it should. This is my second purchase ot this Gator truck bed cover. Very water tight even in my high pressure car wash. Less expensive than most other covers but doesn’t skimp on ruggedness.

The Undercover Lux has proven to be the best option for my truck. Other tonneau covers I considered required drain tubes and for my truck drilling into the bed. Not a chance on that happening. The Lux fits the entire bed and allows water to roll off the top of the bed cover.

The color matched perfectly and the cover looks fantastic! One of my friends saw the cover installed, open it to see my bed rug and said, “Wow, your truck has a real trunk with carpet and everything.

My son and I installed the Undercover SE Tonneau Cover in about 2 hours. My 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat has a 5 1/2 foot bed with a drop in bed liner. I found it easier and safer to trim the ends of the bedliner with a small plumber’s hacksaw when the liner was pulled away from the bed.

This allows the rear brackets to be placed to the very end of the bed for the locking mechanism to work properly. No trimming of the front brackets was required but the distance they are placed from the front of the bed which is written in the directions should be measured from the bed and not the liner and should be precisely measured to be equal on both sides.

Lastly, once the cover was placed on the front brackets, we found it best to loosen the retention clamps to align and screw in the quick-release knobs and then finally tighten down the front brackets again.

With careful measurement and a little tweaking it fit perfectly and looks beautiful and is very functional. I hope this helps others contemplating the purchase of this product.

This is the 4th solid cover I purchased and the first 2 were awesome. The 3rd cover was damaged and a replacement was shipped. The 4th cover was damaged, a replacement was shipped and that one was damaged on the underside.

It looked like someone used a saws-all and cut the bottom. I accepted it because it was underneath the cover and not visible from the outside but I will never purchase another product from UnderCover again.

No discount was taken off whatsoever.

Received delivery of this cover on a bad weather day, so couldn’t wait till my son got home from school to help install. Had to get it on the truck before the storm came in. After installing the brackets, I used the box top as a tray, was able to slide it up onto the bed, position it, then lift the cover and slide out the box top.

Connected the front hinge, adjusted the rear catches for the lock, and done. Fit perfectly and done in less than an hour. Looks great and install was a snap.

Great look, took only a short time to install. One little hitch was my truck came with a arm in left side to help you climb up. It was in the way of the install and installing the interior light that came with top.

Took it off and reinstalled after and all works well. Would recommend this top to any one. I have been in some major strms and not a drop leaked into my bed.

Very easy to install, parts fit and finish was great. Cover looks great on truck and functions easily. Only give 4 stars due to a gap between the rear or the rail and the tailgate. You do have to lift up the main rubber seal to see it but i would like to see a second layer of waterproofing in this area as well,.

Actually only would take about 45 minutes to install, but i added other options at the same time I installed the cover. I love this cover. Flush with the top of the bed, folds nicely out of the way, has an included light for when the cover is down AND the best part is.

when folded all the way up, it doesn’t rest on my back window.

Overall great Cover, However there is some bones to pick. Certain parts of the cover are hand cut which means an uneven edge/jagged unique edges. Not 100% watertight sealed. Cover appears to have a bow in it’s form, weather this is due from the elements or just the quality and materials.

Make sure you have another person. Measuring from bulk head as they say is hard to get accurate. Even 1/2 inch off makes you have to go back and move the brackets. I still think I am 1/4 inch off but I made it work.

Very good looking g tight seal too.

Makes the truck look so slick my wife doesn’t like me having it. And so easy to install it’s great. Don’t regret a black cover and get this cover to match your paint it’s awesome and great looking. Steak design and never have any problems with it.

Cover was easy to install and fit perfectly on my 2022. Looks great with its low profile almost inline with the bed. I do wish it was a like a ‘clip and go’ removal/install but understand that’s hard to do for this price point.

That said beware of the release cables for the flipping up the cover. I installed it and went a week or two without needing to flip up a portion of the cover and when I pulled the second section cable – it immediately failed pulling out of the left side release clip.

I haven’t had the time to take it apart to see if it’s repairable yet but honestly this does cost enough where I shouldn’t have to do that.

It seems very well built. In a totally different league from those other tri fold tops with the fabric and loose twist lock type of latches. My only knock on it (and it is minor) is that the end of one of the rubber weatherstrips that seal it to the bed sides is not completely installed into its tracks and the last few inches of it tend to stick up.

A slight bit more attention during fabrication would have avoided this but all in all I have to say it’s a great value in todays economy. And I’m a frugal person to say the least.

Excellent quality! Truly low profile and was very easy to install with factory Utilitrack from Nissan. Just wish there was a way to hinge it near the head of the bed, so I didn’t have to remove it whenever hauling ATV, but it’s so easy to remove that I don’t consider it a real negative.

Cover is also light, but strong. At this price point it has exceeded my expectations.

Initial quality was great, easy to install, good looking cover. The biggest problem that came up was that after installation, without ever moving the vehicle for two days, the glue holding the weather seal onto the actual cover ( it overhangs the side rails) became soft and the seal separated from the cover (temperature was 75 both days) not really happy about that at all, for the money that I paid I expected higher quality of manufacturing.

Checked with another owner in my area and the same thing occurred on his. Since it’s installed and packing materials disposed of can’t return. I will find my own fix for the issue Other then that issue, happy with the rest of it just be aware of the seal.

Took my time installing the cover (this includes watching three different youtube videos). Very easy one person install. Installed both rails and right rail was hitting tailgate cover. Had to slide a washer between rail and truck to keep it from digging into tailgate cover, minor issue in my book.

Love the look and operation of the cover. Fit right over my fifth wheel hitch in the bed now allows me to stow stuff in the bed and out of sight. Absolutely love this product. Can’t speak on the seal of it yet as no rain expected in MO until Mar.

To start with the cover came in good condition although FedEx shipping leaves a lot to be desired. The install would have taken an hour or maybe a little less but I had to readjust the cover to fit the rail guides.

This was made a little more difficult because of the fact that one rail guide was three sixteenths of an inch longer than the other. You wouldn’t think that would be an issue but the clearance on this cover is very close which I like.

Overall very happy with the cover especially how it looks on the truck.

I’ve had the cover for a year now. The canister has slowly “flexed” wider and the lid no longer sits on the rails. It has sunk between the rails and caused multiple issues – interference with retraction, peeling of powder coating, and poor debris sweeping.

I put shims at the end of the bed rail to make it fit but was not informed of the mass amount of shims required at the front of the bed. The rails sit over 1” on each side inside the rails (meaning you have to shim on both sides because the rail clamps will pull the canister wider) – you’ll see in my pic of the back of my truck…the lid is lower on the left side because the canister has been pulled wider than the lid.

Crap design. I have a customer rep trying to tell me that I put the shims in the wrong place but there literally is no other place along side of the canister that he’s trying to explain in a picture.

Also, the aluminum underside leaves oxidized stains on the vinyl material when it’s rolled up. For the price…garbage.

Final product looks great and seems to function flawlessly. It has only been a week or so since I installed. So far so good. Installation was quite the experience though. Instructions were a little difficult to follow and doing it by myself was not a good idea.

I highly recommend having a 2nd person help. Very happy with my purchase so far though!.

I received this product and went to install it. I got the left side-rail on no problem, when I went to install the right side rail, it wouldn’t go on. It does not look like the cloth is rolled up in the canister correctly or something is off.

Please see photos and recommend how to rectify the problem.

The hardware (screws) was missing. So frustrating. The final install looks great. I thought I was able to go into the bed without putting the tailgate down. The installer at Tint World said not true.

Hmmm 🤔 For such a pricy item, I wish all needed was supplied. The package arrived later than expected date to where I needed to check in.

First of all, my sales rep Brandon Coyle was amazing. Ask for him, and call in your order if you have time. He’s very helpful with good advice, and got me an extra discount. Anyway, my husband has one of these covers and insisted I get one too.

I’m glad he did, it’s truly amazing. Because it’s electronic, it will stop where you direct (with the remote) and can kind of lock things in place. Looks great. I did have it installed, but anyone that knows anything could install it themselves.
