After moving from North Carolina to Florida I found Florida sausage to be pretty terrible. I bought this and made my own. Excellent heat and flavor. Very happy.

Great product on it’s own accord . Mix with some jalapeno flakes or paperjack hightemp cheese and it’s really awsome..

pretty much like the grocery stores German sausage. But I can make it stronger if i like but then that makes for too much salt. Also i put in some red chile flakes to give it a kick.

Easy to use and the result is delicious sausage for many uses including meatballs for pasta.

First time making bratwurst. Ended up with 22pounds of pork. Mixed the spices with high temp cheese and a bottle of Fat Tire beer. It turned out outstanding. I surprised myself. Great body and flavor.

I shared part of the batch with family and they were amazed. I do recommend. I have been making Italian sausage with an old family recipe. This will be rotated into my sausage making calendar.

I am blown away at how great this seasoning is. Made 70/30 venison and pork butt. Added soy protein, cheese, water, and stuffed. My first time making brats and have had them for dinner twice. Such great flavor that is not overwhelming or salty.

Made 25lbs as pkg seasoned and it was perfect.

I made 10 lbs of the sheboygan brat, 5 lb of straight seasoning and 5 lb of high temp cheddar and fresh jalapeno. The overall flavor is good but very mild. I was hoping for a more robust flavor like a well know national brand, Jville.

It missed the mark on hitting that flavor but it is still a good brat. Spicy mustard or ***** may be needed to ramp up the taste a bit.

I usually mix my own seasoning formulations but have not been satisfied with the flavor of the brat recipes I have tried. So on the recommendation of the sausage making facebook group I am a member of I tried PS Seasonings brat seasoning.

I am happy to say that is the taste I have been looking for, best brats I ever made. However I was disappointed with the casings they were pieces 2-3 feet long. Should be advertised as hog casing scraps in my opinion.

Also want a better Andouille sausage I will try that next if PS offers it.

I used 65% well trimmed tri-tip to 35% Boston butt with a single pass through a 4. 5mm plate and hog cases. I like my brats ground course same, as my Italian sausage. The beefy flavor from the tri-tip, the pork fat, and excellent salt to spices ratio in this PS blend made an excellent brat! I have no doubt it’ll be equally good using any protein blend you select.

I’ll try chicken next time!.

Great product which produces a great flavor. I have tried many different premade brat brands and this one is just as good as the rest. I always enjoy making my own sausage as you know what is actually going into your sausage.

Don’t go by the receipt inside the box! Season packages are delicious but the cure packages your gonna want to just use the one package when doing 24lbs of meat. Put both packages in like the directions stated fried up a patty and it was super salty.

I had to add another 10lbs of meat just to balance it out! But I will say after that very delicious brats.

This was the worst kit I have ever used from Hi Mountain. I thought it would be great like the other kits. The seasoning tasted like brut cologne, the casings were absolutely terrible, could not get one that wasn’t full of holes, could not get one to even go on the sausage stuffer.

Absolute waste of money, you are better off making your own seasoning and buying legitimate sausage casings. Do not use this product for bratwurst, take my word for it.

This is by far a family and friend favorite Brat. The spice/ meat ratio is perfect. The brat remains juicy after cooking and not dry. You actually know you’re eating meat vs other brats that you think is a mystery meat! 😊 I always boil mine in beer and onions, then toss on the grill for 5 minutes to make the grill marks.

Then I put the onions from the boil on top! Perfect meal!.

I am from Texas and we never ate brats until about 25 years ago when my work friend from Sheboygan Wisconsin invited us over for a BBQ. He was a Yankee but still good people as Yankees go. We were expecting hot dogs and burgers but were taken back when nothing but Johnsonville original brats were on the menu.

After a very tense taste test believing I might be about to taste something disgusting it was love at first bite. I litteraly could not get enough and could have eaten everything on the grill. Since that day I never fill a shopping cart without two or three packs of Johnsonville original brats.

I made the mistake of ordering a brat in Germany but immidiatley regretted it and missed the perfection that is Johnsonville. As for that Yankee he is now my oldest and dearest friend and we have began to grow old together.

I’m not sure I can credit Johnsonville original brats for the entire friendship but you were there at the beginning and will be until the end. We have made a million memories at our frequent brat bques as we now call them.

I love Johnsonville Italian Mild Sausage for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I also like it cooked on the BBQ, broiled in the oven, and on the stovetop pan fried. I like the mild Italian Sausage more than I like the hot variety.

The pork sausage is made with mild Italian spices. I have removed the pork from the skins and used the ground pork in my lasagna and my spaghetti sauce when I want to add that extra bit of flavor to my Italian cuisine.

I like that the package comes with directions for cooking as well as nutritive value. They are quite high in Sodim, cholesterol and saturated fat, however; I figure if I have them occasionally I am not doing my body any harm.

I also like that Johnsonville is a name that you can trust to give you a quality product. I like that there are so many side dishes that go well with Johnsonville Italian Mild Sausages. I have even been kind enough to share with my pooches who also adore Johnsonville Italian Mild Sausage.

I would recommend Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausages to any meat eater that enjoys a juicy flavorful Sausage.

Very easy to make. I used my 5# sausage stuffer with the casings sent. Instead of water I used a Lager Beer and added jalapeños to the mixture also. I smoked them for 30 minutes at 120 and then grilled them.

Every one said they were better than store bought. Can’t wait to make some more.

By far, the best seasoning on the market for Franks. Been using this seasoning for a few years now, and everyone who tries one of these for the first time, have always said they are the best they ever had from anywhere.

No matter what meat you use, from a a game pork blend, to all beef, this seasoning is by far the best out there.

I just worked this up this morning. The sausages are out on the Treager right now. That little bit that you can’t get out of the stuffer horn got fried like a patty. Son of a gun it was good. That is even before curing and smoking.

I can not wait until they’re done.

I am a professional chef by trade. I love this product. I add extra red pepper flakes to it to make it a little more spicy. The key to making a excellent andouille is to mix three different grinds of meat.

Fine grind, coarse grind and hand cut pieces in equal proportions. The chunks make it difficult to stuff but well worth the effort and it’s authentic as well.

This was a substitute in my online delivery but kept it as we sometimes use other brands of sausage casserole mix but wish I hadn’t. Not a pleasant flavour at all, too much cumin I think and on checking the ingredients confirmed; and also chilli, why? Plus you have to add your own tomato puree, may as well have made it all from scratch and missed out this packet! It should be called spicy sausage casserole or something else to indicate its not a usual type.

Very disappointed.

This casserole is really easy to make. You just fry pork and onion for a few minutes before putting in a casserole dish, mix the sachet with water and add that in too. Then put in the oven (or slow cooker) for an hour adding apple slices half way through.

The end result is delicious and full of flavour. I find it works well with any type of pork, it doesn’t need to be cubed, I just adjust the cooking time and check for when the pork is tender. When I want a thicker sauce I stir in some cornflour to the sachet before mixing with water.

This sachet makes casseroles super easy to make and super tasty to eat! The instructions on the back of the pack are easy to follow and the results, well, the perfect taste! It has such a mild, yet rich and tasty flavour and really brings my pork casserole to a whole new level.

What a disappointment! The taste was rather bland, and did not remind me of any bratwurst I’ve ever had, anywhere, in the past (and it’s been a favorite of mine much of my life). If you know bratwurst, particularly if you’ve had real German bratwurst, don’t even consider this.

What a disappointment it was when I got somewhat excited about this new one after not finding good bratwurst for many years. I was really looking forward to it – but even the smell during cooking (almost none) should have alerted me to how bland the first bite would be.

I ended up wasting my money – I threw away the 2nd package of the 2-pack instead of eating it.

I can’t believe they replaced Johnsonville Brats with this tasteless salty wonder. More Crappy Members Mark brand. They should stick to paper products. Does Sam’s expect to continue selling memberships to buy their brands? Its one thing when I have an option but having Members Mark forced on me is quite another.

Great Brats! We are an older couple and I either pan brown one tray (7) or bake them in the oven. Then I freeze the extras and then just reheat them in the microwave. Excellent and tasty meat to put on Sweet Kale Salad.

Great substitute for sausage in Portuguese Kale Soup. The price is excellent too!.

Me and my wife and my family purchase these a few weeks ago we figured we’d give them a try. I am so happy that we did. These by far are the best I’ve had as far as bratwurst go. I ended up going back to the store the a couple days afterwards and purchased eight packages.

I went back to the store about a week later and they’re sold out. I am going on a quest to purchase as many of these as I can. I sure hope you these are not a short run product. Thank you so much for an excellent product.

I bought these because I’m a lover of cajun food and you folks knocked it out of the park with these lil jems!!! the taste is astonishing and reminded me of the sausage Po’Boys we had gotten in the French Quarter at The Oceana Grill.

beautifully seasoned mixed with a little bit of heat, packing a heck of a flavor that’s just unbeatable!! Will definitely be buying more to stok up on in the freezer for further GREAT eating!! If you folks quit making these, I will forever lose my faith in humanity.

I usually buy these when we are going to the lake. The kids usually want hotdogs so I get brats for the adults. I boil them first amd the. Place on grill to get the grill marks put on them. For some reason the grate marks from the grill makes food taste better cuz ya know they were cooked on a grill.

Been making this for a while and we like it. Most recent batch seemed a little saltier than before. Could cut back on the salt just a little bit. Maybe we will add a few more pounds of meat next time to thin out the saltiness.

We also added some Hi-Temp Swiss cheese to half the batch this last time, haven’t tried them yet but should be good.

A very tasty sausage. I made it as I tended and then also made another batch adding cinnamon, cloves, red wine and nutmeg. Both were very tasty. The product arrived quickly also

We have been ordering the Swiss Brat seasoning for several years. What a great flavor. We add 16oz of diced jalape�os per 25 lb batch of brats, mix and stuff. We usually do around 400 lbs of summer sausage and breakfast sausage at the end of deer season, now our work has expanded as everyone wants 25 or 50 lbs of pure pork brats along with the regular deer sausage that we make.

On a side note. we have been using Walton’s/Mid Western research for about 10 years now and have never been disappointed. Thanks.

Wasn’t my favorite and some family and friends didn’t like as well as others, but I thought it was very good. Has a traditional flavor like a regular brat. Paired with Hi Temp Cheddar.

The flavor is simply amazing – when I grill for a group the rules for eating these brats are no condiments until you taste it. I’ve yet to see ketchup to be added and every last one gets consumed. Get some bakery buns and then cut these in thirds and serve as appetizers – wow! And yes, with beer.

Tastes good can mix with game also. Price is right. Adding some hi temp cheese is a nice addition. P S is way to expensive for there cheese so check around.
