I absolutely love this product! I’m a great fan of garlic and love it in most of my foods. So I use this across all cultural food boundaries. It goes good on everything! Only down side is the price has now gone up.

Since I pay for quality, I will continue to repurchase.

The one star is not because the product is bad because it’s actually so delicious, the one star is for the price. I think your taking advantage of the consumer because $7. 00 is definitely way to much, I found this same product at my local Asian store for less than $5.

50, lower your prices, there is no reason for the huge price difference for the same exact product!!!!!!!!.

Who knew Crunchy Garlic in chili oil would taste so delicious. I sure didn’t. Now I know. Please sell this in bigger containers. That’s the only issue I have with it. I want more…

This is good on literally almost everything. It has just the right amount of spice. It has a crunch with I really like for texture. Good in soups, pastas, breakfast. Really anything.

This is a great Lao Gan Ma but honestly it’s not as good as the one that we got from China and that had Chinese writing on it. The beans are different and the taste is different. This one has light colored beans whereas the Chinese one had dark beans in it.

It’s just a different take but I much prefer the Chinese one. The Chinese one is highly addictive! It’s so good. It’s 5 stars but this one I give 4 stars.

This was the second package that I have received from the shipping by Walmart where the item was damaged. So packing needs to be reviewed. Otherwise the items are great

This sauce has a good flavor to it. Heat hits quick and hard and tapers down after 10 minutes. 15 minutes later you’re back to relative normal and wanting more. I’ve had hotter sauces and they don’t taste as good as this one.

But don’t worry, this isn’t a bottle that’s so hot you will see through dimensions of time and hallucinate if you eat too much and it’s not hard on the throat or stomach like some other sauces I’ve tried.

I’d say there is a good 10-15 servings per bottle, or if you’re a mega-spice-lord, maybe 5 servings – so take the price into consideration as well, it’s not inexpensive either. I’d take several teaspoons myself per serving or dish so this sauce wouldn’t last me too long on my shelf.

This is a pretty good sauce, although not my favorite. I deducted a single star because it’s not one of those sauces that has a strong presence of its own. The flavor is mild enough that it can be easily overpowered by the food you put it on, so you need to watch your proportions if you want to enjoy it for the flavor as well as the heat.

But other than that, it’s a solid entry in the Torchbearer catalog. The flavor is mild and pleasant. A bit citrusy, a bit tomatoy, a bit tangy, and overall well blended. The heat is powerful and biting, but not insane, and does have some complexity to it.

It almost feels like I can tell the difference between the habanero and the ghost chillis. Unlike the flavor, there’s no danger of the heat getting lost in the food you put it on. Its texture is creamy like all Torchbearer sauces, and so the heat spreads evenly in your mouth and then lingers there.

Overall, I recommend that you give it a try, and I might buy this again someday, but not right away.

This is a great sauce for pepper heads. The heat comes on slowly and has a nice long burn on your palette. It is also not overly sweet, as a lot of hot sauces tend to be in this heat range. Instead, you get a rich, smoky savory flavor that has a nice kick.

I typically eat it in sandwiches or over eggs. I found the price on the high side, but it is one of the few that manage to balance heat and flavor. I will be buying this again. I’m about halfway through my first bottle and I am already thinking about ordering more.

I received a jar of this in a kit for a cooking class. The very same week I saw Katie Lee use chili crisp in an egg recipe on Food Network which got the ball rolling because I’d never heard of this ingredient before and wasn’t sure how to use it.

I am now completely addicted. It’s like nothing else I’ve ever tasted. I fry breakfast eggs in it and it gives them the most amazing results. The other reviewers are right – you have to thoroughly stir the jar before you use it to get the bits from the bottom mixed in.

It is full of deep umami and packs a punch of flavor and despite being szechuan it is not too hot or spicy. Love it and so glad I can now get it at Target!.

Let me just say that my family and I love the chili crisp. It’s flavorful, and we can’t get enough of it. We like making the vinaigrette from it as well. We’ll likely order it again. The reason I dropped a star is because of the shipping.

I ordered this as a gift for a friend, eager for her to try it out, and the product arrived completely shattered. Hot sauce and chili oil everywhere. This can happen, right? So we tried again. Same thing again.

The shipper does not take care to package this item for shipping appropriately. Just put it in a plastic mailer and send it off with no extra padding, no bubble wrap, nothing. While I credit Fly By Jing for replacing my initial order and then refunding me after the second fail, I really think work needs to be done to ensure quality control on the shipping end.

When you order a product that costs close to $40, you’d think that care would be taken that it arrives intact. Unfortunately this has left a rather sour taste in my friend’s mouth as well, and you’ve lost a potential customer.

I found this fried chili in oil at Kroger and got excited! I had never tried it but I had been watching cooking shows and needed to have some. I was not disappointed. This chili oil is not spicy but it is full of flavor! It has peanuts mixed in and they are nice gems to chew on.

I have been adding it to my ramen noodles and dipping my dumplings in it as well. I finished a whole bar in less than a month. Definitely worth a try! I love it so much I have ordered 6 more jars on Amazon!.

Serve over cold and soft tofu for a summer delicious delight. In cooler months I pan fry the tofu and fry the sauce before adding them together for a unique and tasty entree over steamed rice. Spring onion slices, toasted sesame seeds,rice vinegar,sesame oil,slices of fresh chili.

Not sure what the difference was, I bought both a jar of the “Spicy Chili Crisp” and the “Fried Chili in Oil”. Each has a slightly different flavor, both very unique, both equally awesome! If I could only choose one, I would probably go with this product, the “Spicy Chili Crisp”.

It has some sort of extra flavor I can’t quite put my finger on, I think it might be the onion, they must also fry it? In about a week’s time I’ve managed to go through a whole jar and now I find myself ordering more! I love not only cooking with it using it instead of plain oil, but also adding it to dishes as a garnish.

It’s awesome on top of any sort of rice or pasta dish. I also mix in a spoonful in my ramen / pho soups! You will find yourself craving it and sneaking a piece of bread with a little on top just to get that yummy flavor!.

I’ve tried countless commercially available chili crisps, and I’ve tried countless recipes at home, but none have come even CLOSE to the Fly By Jing! I put it on just about everything, and I sometimes just eat it by the spoonful.

They’ve nailed the umami experience, and I love the (subtle but fun) Sichuan-pepper numbness. As a bonus, I greatly appreciate that this product is vegan. The jar does tend to “leak” around the top no matter how much I try to keep it clean and neat, so be sure to store it on a towel or tray.

This condiment is one of my favorites! It’s flavorful it has a great texture it’s not miserably hot, but it definitely adds a nice kick. I gave a couple of jars to my brother and he went through his first one in less than two weeks.

He likes to eat it on his eggs.

I like this a lot, but find it much less versatile than my old standby, Chili Crunch (the brand)- which, oddly, seems to have gotten lost in all the chilli crisp hype. Definitely a place for Fly in my pantry tho!.

This is a dream condiment. It elevates anything you put with it-ramen! Stir fries! Eggs! Dumpling sauces! Better than cheap imitations, like TJ’s-the oil stays liquid at refrigerated temperature.

I discovered this gem from Trader Joe’s a year ago and I Absolutely Love it! It’s tangy and crunchy (sometimes I eat it by the spoonful). As far as pairing with foods, I like it in my eggs and on my baked potatoes.

I don’t really use it as a tapenade…it’s too powerful/potent for a cracker! #chilionioncrunch.

I’ve tried several chile crunch products over the last few months. This brand wasn’t particularly flavorful and contained too much excess oil. Also, I didn’t find it hot at all. I greatly prefer S&B and Lao Gan Ma.

Really liked the fresh flavor out of a jar. Made green chile stew and it was so flavorful.

Im addicted to this stuff. Amazingly delicious, hot but not painful, crispy and scrumptious. I put it on everything. With mayonnaise mashed into avocado. On vanilla ice cream.

This is easily the best chili we have ever had from a bag mix. Tried several other “alarm” type recipes, but none come even close to Six Gun. My wife and I are foodies. This the real thing. Great Chili.

Pretty much the worst chili I’ve made.. Normally I do my own with spices. I was looking for something faster. I threw it away… I had such high hopes.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read the reviews. I originally assumed it was just spicy chili paste. Boy was I wrong! This stuff is full of Umami and so delicious! It’s a well rounded secret add-in to make all your Asian dishes taste delicious without using MSG! Fish sauce, shrimp paste, chili, sugar and peanuts make everything taste awesome without tasting like those singular ingredients.

I highly recommend! Great for stir Fry, Thai soups, curry , fried rice. yummmm. I’m a great cook amd make a lot of homemade even my curry pastes, but, this stuff is great to have around!.

I am a chef dedicated to asian and fusion cooking as well as organics. I love thai coconut curries and have used Thai Kitchen Red Curry for years. Recently I purchased this paste- Roasted red Chili Paste and used it.

, along with the red curry paste. Finally I achieved that flavor so unique to thai coconut dishes. It must be the anchovy in this paste. It is very sweet with sugar, but one doesn’t use much and it is worth it if you are wanting that certain Thai curry flavor.

Highly recomend this to have in your arsenal of ingredients at hand.

I love this chili paste. I spread it on salmon before baking and it’s fabulous. I mix it with butter for a great shrimp sauce. Very versatile, just with it was easier to find!!

The reviews were dead-on. love this sauce! Definitely a bit more “tangy” than other hot sauces, and not too hot. Other hot sauces tend to have little flavor and only add the “hot”, but this one is different.

Absolutely amazing, and this chili paste plays well with about any other spice. The garlic kick is nice too and for me at least, the heat is rather mild but very flavorful with a nice texture. Wish it were a larger jar, and I am never without this wonderful sauce.

I discovered this when I went plant based and needed more flavor in my foods. At first it was burning hot (to me) but I’ve gotten used to it and use it in so many things and now prefer it to sriracha.

I mix it with plain hummus to give it a kick, use it in homemade salad dressings, love it with white beans, and love the flavor of it on kale with rice wine vinegar. Now I always keep a jar in my cabinet.

This sauce has such amazing flavor. My husband and I love using it to spice up stir fries, rice bowls, and marinades for meats. It has very good flavor that works well by itself or mixed with other spices.

Personally, I love spicy food, but when I am cooking for someone that doesn’t, it is easy to use this sauce and sweeten/soften the spice level with something like honey or agave. Would definitely recommend.

I use Aleppo pepper as my go to chili flake. I thought this would be like Aleppo with some variation in flavor or quality. You can certainly tell that it is related to Aleppo pepper, but it also has other flavors that give it a whole new dimension.

I have become obsessed with this chili. I have never liked spicy peppers before, mostly only ever having tasted the most commonly sold varieties in North America, all of which I found to have a bitter capsicum flavor that turns my tastebuds off completely.

Not these chilis, they taste like the FRUIT that they are! Not sweet, but a fruity note is all you notice until you finish chewing, and then the gentle burning.

I’ve fallen in love with this very mild chili. I keep the shaker bottle on the table close at hand. I love sprinkling it on just about everything, eggs, pasta dishes, you name it. I’m trying to think of a use for it in cookies.

I really like it for a finishing touch. it gives a dish a lot of visual interest, without being too spicey for those that cannot take the heat.

Roland Sriracha Chili Sauce is a great sriracha alternative if you don’t like other brands of hot sauce or sriracha then Roland Sriracha Chili Sauce is a good go to sriracha sauce! Mix it or drizzle it on any other foods to enhance the flavor to something nice and spicy!.

My family has been using this chili sauce on hot dogs for more years than I can remember. It has a great taste that is much better than the competitors. I was recently disturbed to learn that the manufacturer has decided to discontinue producing it.

Fortunately, I was able to purchase a case of it (12 bottles) on Jet. Hopefully Jet has a good supply and I will continue to order it until I can no longer find it.

I love this stuff. As with all hot sauces, my first course of action was to try a ton of it dumped directly on a chip. It tastes to me like a fusion between a Mexican hot sauce (think Cholula / Valentina / Tapatio) and sriracha.

But much spicier than both. It’s an interesting sauce and I’ll be splashing it on everything from Pad Thai to Pizza. Note that the level of spice on this is “Very Hot” – and it means it. It’s not spicy enough to ruin your day, but it’ll for sure clear out your sinuses.

The level of spice, to me, is around Secret Aardvark Habanero Sauce. Maybe slightly less spicy than the Aardvark.

My husband and I fell in love with the taste of New Mexico on a recent trip. Upon our return home, all we could think about was the amazing salsas and sauces we had discovered. While searching the internet, I stumbled upon Ol’ Gringo Green Sauce.

I ordered it and finally put it to use last night in/on some enchiladas. They were delicious. The flavor is phenomenal. The heat is perfect. It doesn’t overshadow the flavor at all. Simply delicious.

I will now be ordering by the case as this is one of my new go-to Ol’ Gringo favorites.

I found this sauce at my local, very expensive grocery store. I have been a Bueno Frozen Chile user for decades. But it is not available in my area. I can only find it in the Southwest. So I tried Ol’ Gingo.

It’s really very good. And when I found it online it is considerably less expensive than at my local grocery store. I have given a jar to my favorite local Mexican Restaurant owner. She doesn’t do Southwestern Style, but I have smothered her food with Ol’ Gringo and it’s quite wonderful.

With the pandemic, I’ve had much more time to shop around online. Came across this line of spreads and decided to give it a try. We opened a jar recently, put some in a little bowl, some crispy crackers and chunks of gouda cheese on the side.

What a wonderful treat. My son finished the jar in a day. Expensive but worth every penny – as an occasional treat, a wonderful choice. Bought the other varieties as well and look forward to trying those out too.

This can’t be real! It’s too GOOD to be true! Lol OH MY GOSH !!!! Do not let this pass you by! This is probably the best tasting pesto I have ever had! I will go out of my way to find this! I personally added Creme, a little red wine, and butter.
