20 Best Tops For Yoga (2022 Updated)

Love the fit. Very flattering. Exact material I wanted – breathable elastic cotton. I have almost the exact same shirt from Lulu lemon but this brand is more flattering because its more tailored in the waist.

– I purchased a medium and a large btw to try different fits and they both fit pretty well.

I love the Lululemon Love Pleated tank. This one is not cut the same as that tank but fits more like the regular love tank. It has a nice loose fit and curved hem. The fit is true to size. I ordered a medium and should have ordered a small.

The shirt fit great but a little too low cut for my preference. I am a 32DD and usually buy a size 6 in the lulu love pleated tank. The tank is super soft and washes well. I haven’t had any shrinkage and I do dry it in the dryer.

I searched for this tank because I had one from a couple years ago and wear it all the time, only I’d ripped the tag out. Finally I found it again and now I have 2 more go-to tanks for hot hot days – and we’ve had plenty.

So soft and airy and light. I love them.

I have ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of Beyond Yoga apparel this year — 2 pair of full length leggings, a racer tank, and 2 pair of shorts. Of these 5 items, ALL FIVE of them came greatly damaged.

The racer tank had significant damage to the overstitch hem, which not only is aesthetically awful, but makes it so that the entire hem unraveled on my $60+ shirt. The right front of the shirt was badly pilled.

In this same order, the shorts that I purchased had a similar overstitch issue. The stitching is not finished, and so there are loose strings and unfinished hems all over these pieces. This really bums me out, because the cut / style and material on these pieces are great.

The production, however, has really taken a dive in this past year. Last year I purchased a few similar items from a boutique. I wore these items almost daily, as I am a dedicated movement practitioner.

The items I bought last year held up so we’ll, I chose to purchase a whole bunch more when I renewed my wardrobe this year. Now, I am really regretting the decision. I have contacted customer service; they have not offered much help, and made me feel like it was my fault that these items came damaged (this happened to me in two orders — the first order had a pair of pants come with holes in them; they sent a second pair, which also had holes).

I understand that after I received two items with holes in them, it maybe seems sketchy. But I have no reason to put holes in my own clothes. It does not look neat, and now I can’t even use them for performances, which is what they were purchased for.

Now, on the second round, the stitching is not something I could have messed up on my own — it’s stitched into the pieces during production! It’s not stitching that is cut — it is sewn off of the hem and mis-stitched all over! I sent pictures, but no one seemed to care.

The quality is really awful. I believe Beyond Yoga changed production this year as they grew from a small business to a larger corporate style business. I have a hard time leaving Beyond Yoga behind, because the material is so fantastic.

It’s so so so so soft. But I also did notice that it is now see-through in stretching (last year’s products didn’t have this issue either). I am bummed to see the quality at Beyond Yoga take such a dive.

These are expensive items, and to have so many of them so damaged. and not have the issue fixed at all. just seems like it’s not a good idea to invest in this brand. It’s no longer a name that indicates quality in the movement industry — instead, it’s just a fast fashion brand for those that want to look good and waste money.

Bummed to have had this experience; I certainly won’t be purchasing any Beyond Yoga items at full price again; I’ll be happy to shop their sale racks and get ’em secondhand, but they’re definitely not worth the high price they’re asking.

LOVE! Beautiful color and great fit. I have 2 others in different colors plus MANY other space dye styles. However, I do have one suggestion. I am not really into the monochromatic look, so it would be great if you could show options for pairing different colors together.

I’m pretty good with mixing and matching, but it’s always a guess when I’m picking things out online as the colors don’t always look the same in person. Instead of showing ‘people also liked’ when you select an item, can you show options for pairing different pieces (aside from just black, gray, or navy)? Thanks.

The color is a little more toasty/redish than yellow but it still looks good. Reminds me of the color of the desert in southeast Utah. I use this for indoor/outdoor rock climbing and it’s magnificently comfortable.

It’s so simple though I am definitey going to pair it with shorts and denim when it’s warmer but also makes a GREAT sleep top. Literally there is nothing this top cannot do. It’s my third one and you can bet I’ll be picking up more.

I got a compliment on this color the first day I wore it to the gym.

I love this shorter (but not cropped) tank for its softness and fit (not too tight and not too flowy). I recommend sizing down because my usual size small was too big. The size extra small fit much better but was even slightly big in the arm holes.

I still love this tank and have it in two colors. (5’5, 122#, 34B).

Excellent tank that I usually have to pay quite a bit more money for. REI has them at a great price. Very comfortable, easy to clean. Great for working out.

Pretty color. I ordered a size too big, but I am keeping it. I will re-order other tanks in a large. Excellent product.

I tried this in a Large (12) and XL (14). I’m 36A-34-41 and 5’9″. The L seems to fit me best because I didn’t want a tight compression fit, and the length covers my bottom, which is what I was looking for.

I wish the straps were adjustable because I’m a little tall for the fit: the bra sits a tiny bit higher than I’d like, and the straps are little tighter than I want them to be. Strangely though, the bottom of the Large is a bit loose and puckers on my 41″ hips.

I expect a compression top to be a bit snug. The XL was better for my height, but the rest of the top was much too loose at that size. I found the bra pads to be little lighter/thinner than what I usually get from Jockey Modern Micro Seamfree Cami Strap Bralette (I usually wear an XL in those for a comfortable bralette), but these are ok.

I also would have liked the armpit area to be a bit higher to conceal any bulges. Oh well, not perfect, but sufficient. I misread a review that mentioned cotton and didn’t realize that this is not made of cotton.

I was beyond pleased with these tops. I usually buy from Lorna Jane or Alo Yoga and I thought I’d save my wallet and give these a try. I purchased a few options from Amazon and these yoga tops were by far my favorite.

The fit was nice and snug, the quality feels like Alo Yoga (that says a lot !!!), very comfortable and they are super cute. I had to order more. I can get 3-4 for the price of one and the usual brands I buy from! They are extra long FYI, which gives it that Yoga top look.

So the hem ends below the hip bones. I’m 5’ 5” 115lbs and 34B-C and ordered an XS (0/2). They fit so perfect! I rarely rave or leave reviews, but i had to say something because these tops exceeded my expectations.

Material is fairly stiff, the seams on the underarms dig in and make it uncomfortable. Not the best to wear working out as it rides up. It is long though so if it does ride up it’s not the end of the world.

I hate fidgeting with my clothes during a HITT workout so I was fairly annoyed when I did have to adjust regularly. I’m 5’5″, 115lbs with small bust. I ordered a small and overall the fit is good for that size.

Honestly Don’t think I’ll buy anymore of these. I’m a little bummed because I love their shorts and love that the cut is similar to a Lululemon Top, but it certainly needs improvement.

This shirt is great. First it has some weight to it which I love. Second, it is very soft. I love the purple color; I also got the black. It hits just below the butt. The thumb holes are perfect and it still extends to just past your knuckles.

Very well made, double stitching everywhere, to include some cute detail on the shirt around the seams. Perfect for outside exercise or even just as a cute shirt for this time of year! Would definitely buy again.

I bought a different color last year. This one is as soft and the color is versatile. This particular top is a little larger than the other one I have (prob due to production variation). That’s the problem with online shopping, you can’t compare sizes easily.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this top!!! It is so soft and fits perfectly! I already had one in the black marle color that I bought at Sam’s Club (store brand), so when I saw this one by RBX, I jumped on it! Of course, it’s a better product that the Sam’s Club version, and I am very happy about that!.

I bought this tank months ago a little on a whim. I was going backpacking that weekend and wanted a tank that would be wicking but not too slick like a lot of the synthetics can be. Such a great purchase! I’ve put this puppy through the wringer, and it still looks and feels as good as the day I bought it.

It’s super soft, keeps you dry, and doesn’t chaff at all on long days with a pack on. It also seems to withstand the grime of the trail somehow. I hear often that I don’t look like I’ve been on the trail when I’ve been wearing it for days straight.

Definitely will be buying another. Well worth the investment as it’s one of those items that I always want to put back on as soon as it’s out of the laundry.

I love the beyond yoga featherweight balanced muscle tanks. I have bought multiple tanks in various colors. These tanks are so soft and silky smooth. The tanks are great for workouts or for wearing as a comfy but cute top.

Things I love about these tops: the high neck, the arm holes aren’t huge and gaping, the loose fit that feels flowy but not baggy, the quick drying material and the many color options. This bright blue is a good color to pair with navy tights!.

Super soft and easy to layer muscle shirt. Beyond Yoga never disappoints with quality. I am so glad this top is a solid pink minus the print and heather coloration. The only part is that the muscle shirt goes beyond my bra strap and length hits right on my crotch for a petite girl.

For reference, 5’1 and 105lbs. I decided to keep it as I LOVE the pretty ballerina pink. I styled it with a cute sports bra (tan adidas bra) and knotted it. One star down, as it needs to be tailor fit for my petite frame fashionistas!.

The material is like nothing I’ve felt before, it’s textured and yet so buttery soft. The length is also perfect for more coverage or just tucking it into leggings if needed. You can even style it with a front knot.

Must buy in multiple colors.

I will be living in this tank when it warms up here. It does run a little small in my opinion though. I’m 5’4 125lbs and typically always a Small. It fits, but is a little tighter and shorter than I would’ve preferred.

I’m going to be sizing up on future purchases.

Super cute, soft and comfy. Moves with you not uncomfortable like some restrictive workout garments. I bought a small. Runs a little “roomy”. No problem tho! Looking forward to my next purchase.

I love this top. I like the longline shape a lot. The bottom band does roll up sometimes, but it’s not a deal-breaker in terms of overall comfort for me. In my experience, if you’re small chested (I’m a 34B.

smaller end of the B range), this bra DOES actually provide enough compression for running. It’s not my go-to running bra because of the style of the straps, but I have worn it for running a few times with no complaints.

I typically wear a small in Nike tops but have worn a medium in their sports bras in the past. I went with a size small on this, and it’s perfect. It feels like a firm compressive hug to me, but it doesn’t dig into my skin at all.

I’ve also worn two different colors of this bra as a swim top in both salt water and chlorinated pool water, and both of them remained colorfast and stayed put on my body in the water. The straps stay up on my shoulders no matter what level of activity I’m doing when I wear this.

I plan to purchase it in other colors in the future and would highly recommend this bra to other people.

The color and quality of fabric are fine. My issue relates to the fit. I wear small in traditional clothing. I usually buy medium when purchasing my workout gear. This medium is very narrow… like form fitting on my 5’6”, 130# frame.

It’s a tube. Very narrow and unusually long. It’s going back.

I love this top! The main activity I wear it for is pilates and it is well-suited to this kind of activity. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The cut-out design at the back is cute. I like the length and I find that it doesn’t ride up too much.

I would normally wear a Large, so I ordered this in Large but it is too fit for my taste. I would guess the shirt in the picture is one to two sizes what the model would normally wear. If you don’t want skin tight, I would order one size up from your normal size.

Would describe this top as true to size. Lovely bright colours and funky style with the open back. Great for yoga, with good coverage and ease of movement. I would also wear this out as it dresses up well with a necklace and it’s open back looks sexy.

I did put a couple of stitches in the back so that it does not show my bra strap and this has worked well but is really down to preference and the position of strap. Especially love the red/orange colour very Spanish.

I got this with the hopes of it being a tie-back shirt, so i thought it would be fitting a little bigger at the bottom. When i got this, it fit like a normal shirt. I got a size L, and I am normally a size L in shirts.

I was just hoping the back would be longer to tie up. There isn’t enough fabric for that. That being said, it is a very flattering shirt, and so cute that the back is mesh. I will be keeping. Also, didn’t realize this when buying, I thought the shirt would be cotton, but its like legging performance material.

Really cute tank. I love the color and I like the option of wearing it tied in the back. The arm holes go down a little more than I prefer. I have to wear a sports bra that cuts higher. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars because when working out the mesh part in the back gets sticky.

Maybe for Yoga or a light exercise this wouldn’t be an issue.

Very good quality. The light orange color is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I love the fabric. It’s very lightweight, soft and smooth. I also like the mesh panels in the back of the tank.

It’s a very cute and comfortable tank, great for workouts. I only wish I bought one size smaller. I bought the XS and I should have bought the XXS. Because it is a muscle tank style, the arm holes are very large and sometimes the edge of the holes flare out.

This tank is super soft — feels like quality I’d get at Lululemon. Color is exactly as pictured online (I got the jade grey) and it’s a beautiful shade. I am a size 4, ordered the small; fits perfectly.

Oversized without making me look like I’m wearing a potato sack. It’s a bit big under the arms but I don’t mind it, and my bra doesn’t show on the sides which is something I don’t like in other tanks so that’s a win! I’ll definitely order more but will probably size down to XS — just for personal preference, as I like my tanks a closer to my body.

I love the fit of this tank and the size of the arm holes. The length and vents hit just right and the fabric is soft but not slick like some workout tops or too coarse like some cotton shirts. I have 2 and can’t promise I won’t buy all the colors.

I purchased this in the smallest size available and it was enormous. I am usually an xs. I am 110 lbs and 5’4,” 32B. This was super long, armholes and chest were way too big. If it had been shorter and smaller, I would have kept it and bought several more.

Still confused about the sizing. I’ve obsessively read reviews on this tank to be sure on what size to get. I got a size 4 since I am between a 2 and 4 on bras. The band fits well but the straps are oddly loose.

The size 4 that I own in grey sage fits differently than the spiced chai I got. The spiced chai, however, is so much more prettier in real life! Just sad that the straps are just a little too loose.

I was expecting to receive the newer version (with the firmer paddings) – similar to what I’ve ordered previously. However, I received the older version (with filmsy paddings, which was very unflattering for me as I have a boney chest).

Their reason was to clear the old stocks. Quite disappointed with the inconsistency as the tank is actually pretty good yet I won’t be wearing them and have just wasted considerable money for 2 of these tanks.

Size 2 just fit me. Wear it like nude. Special is wont feel any tightly from somewhere squeeze the fats out. And still can see a bit of cleavage. Love it. Collect 5 colours on this crop tops.

I love it! Super cute tank to wear with high-waisted leggings or sweats. I was initially unsure about the fit since this was my first alo purchase- I’m usually an M-L and M in most brands is uncomfortably tight.

But it is absolutely true to size and is form-fitted but not skin tight. I wear a size 36B cup so if you have a larger cup size it may be a bit tighter. Overall I love this top and will be purchasing in many more colors.

I bought the black color, and immediately fell in love and took the white color. this is my new go-to. Looks great With high waist pants, everyday style goes above and beyond cropped fit. love the Lightweight rib knit.

love love love this tank. I find myself wearing it several times a week. I like the short crop and how the sleeves cut in very narrow. I am always a small in Alo tops, but I would size up if you want it to fit a little looser.

I absolutely love these wrap tops! They’re so comfy and feel like you’re not wearing anything almost. Except when one of the girls falls out :rofl::grimacing: these would be even more amazing if you could get them bigger for those of us with larger *******.

And a bit longer on the ends would be great as well! If it had those 2 things, I’d give it 5 ⭐ and buy so many!!!!.

Love the Yantra Yoga Warp Top. I’m small busted, It feels supportive and covers well. I feel cute in it. I bought it to wear underneath some spaghetti strap sundresses, and I believe it is going to work perfectly.

I bought it in black but plan to buy a few other colors.

This yoga wrap top is comfortable & just enough support. My measurements are 35.5 B cup. Love the rust color. Purple is in wish list!

I love the feel of the tank, but the green is so dark you can’t see any of the detailing on the chest– i bought it primarily for the light color and contrast, and was super bummed to see the actual green of the fabric is not as advertised.

Big disappointment for the price– but fortunately the fabric feels lovely, it hits all the other marks. If it were the lighter shade of green i would be wearing this all the time.

I love the fit of this shirt. It tapers perfectly to my waist without revealing the pinched look of my pant’s elastic waist band. The arm holes allow great freedom of movement. And the fabric wicks sweat away while keeping me cool.

Just wish this came in more colors. I have one of each and would buy more.

Bought this for running. Snug fit which is fine – size up for more room. Biggest problem is that the top is way too long. It looks like you have no bottoms when combined with a 5in or shorter pair of running shorts.

I’m going to have to get them altered which sucks. But the miniskirt look for a dude isn’t a good look.

I love this top so much I bought it in two colors. I was having trouble finding a crop top that wasn’t too short or too tight. This top fits perfectly- it hits me at the narrowest part of my waist and the fabric is breathable and very comfortable.

I wear it out casually and also use it for working out. I’m normally an XL but I bought the L and it fits me perfectly.

This is by far my favorite alo product. It feels so soft and the material is like flexible and buttery. It has the most flattering fit. I love it. I recommend everyone gets this item. 100000/10 stars.

I will buy this in white and wish they had it in more colors. I’m 5’6” 32c bra and sized up to a small because I didn’t want it super snug. Fits perfectly and is so comfy, breathable, and a nice soft fabric.

This is a cute top with shelf bra. I love the color and style, both of which are beautiful and I have absolutely no complain for. However it is very disappointing in terms of comfort and fit. I am 5/3 104lb and got my usual size 0 top.

If I wear without another bra the shelf bra doesn’t provide much support at all and doesn’t offer any sculping effect of the breasts. If I wear another bra it will be too tight and uncomfortable. Pity, very pretty looking but very uncomfortable.

Yoga tops, and workout tops in general, are always so hit or miss for busty girls, but this is my DREAM top. Enough lift and support to wear casually (and looks amazing with jeans and a cardigan). Paired with a sports bra, the neckline is high enough that I’m not worrying about cleavage while working out.

The crop is perfect. The back wrap is so cute. I’m going to have to buy 10 in fear of it ever being discontinued. Please release more colours!!.

Buy it now! I don’t usually bother to write reviews but this top is so buttery smooth and well made that I’m just in love with it. It says light support for C/D cup but I’m a D cup and I would say this is more medium to high support for me.

The size is perfect from the size chart and it’s not as tight fitting as the photos. It has some give around the tummy so it’s forgiving and comfortable. The back lays beautifully and I absolutely love the yellow/green color.

I am a 36D and purchased the Large. Fits great and the fabric has a good weight to it–I like the ribbed texture. I plan to wear under blazers for work with a long necklace as well as casual on the weekends.

I have been searching for a good quality, dark brown top and this is it.

I really like this top. It’s very convenient but it’s tight around the tummy. Since I’m still in a “getting into shape” phase I think it looks awkward with my leggings. For now I throw over a cardigan If I have to run an errand before yoga.

Soon it’ll look great though so I’m very happy with my purchase.

I love this tank! It’s hard to find full length tanks that fit well. I also like that it has a scoop neck as my neck and chest tend to sweat the most. Also, I’m not always pulling it up or tugging it down.
