20 Best Torx Bit Set (2022 Updated)

Nice addition to my Wiha Tradesman Multi-Driver. Short enough to get into really tight spot with great Wiha quality bits. Used it this weekend to replce a blown GFCI outlet up tight to the side of a water heater.

This Stubby Bit holder is a great way to carry around the bits you need in an easy convent package. It’s great to drop in a pocket.

Compact with strong magnet to keep screws from getting loose; excellent ergonomics that will ease task on hand; very practical compartment of bits inside handle; excellent hardened steel Highly recommended.

This tool works perfect for Motorcycles, Kawasaki. Used to remove servo for mod exhaust install. This can be used for normal use too. Wish I had purchased this set first before all the other torx bits.

I used on kids playground equipment and it fit perfect. I’ve read other reviews on these that mention them breaking on use. If you’re doing light to medium duty I believe they will hold up fine, but if screws are rusted/frozen I would question the strength of the tool.

This is a great set. It has most of the sizes I need to work on my motorcycle in one convenient kit. and at a great price too. High quality tools. I expect they will last a long time.

It took some time for me to review this set because I have had several of these torx sets made by different companies that were so-so. This set has done quite well so far. I typically use these with my 1/4″ drive cordless impact and they stand up well when hammering on stuck screws and bolts.

I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a nice set that will last.

I forget why I got my original set. I think I was tired of searching my tool chest for the right size and then having them torque out and get rounded off after all the whole purpose of Torx bits is their solid grip.

My first WIHA set is probably 5 years old and looks and works just like new. Plus I always have the right size at my finger tips, and they don’t get lost/misplaced. I ended up buying my son and my two buddies each a set.

For another thing, it keeps them from borrowing mine!.

I am a professional cabinet and trim man at a large casino. Wigs bits are all I use everyday. So happy Lowes is stocking some of the bits

Excellent socket set. As a professional technician working on primarily European cars, I use these everyday. I have had years of good use out of these sockets already and they never skip a beat. What a great value.

They perform just as well as many more expensive socket sets. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Don’t be fooled by its color. Not impact ready. Made for hand tool. You can compare this socket to the Snap-On impact socket. The dark color on this socket is too dense and too shiny. Scratching it with knife, I found out it’s chrome under the dark coating.

I assume you can get away once or twice when using this socket on impact driver. But but recommended.

When tools first arrived; I was blown away at the high quality. Chrome is so bright it blinds you lol. The bits are extremely strong. Used them with impact wrench and it never fails! Plan on buying the Hex bits set as well.

bits work great, I was surprised by their strength. Happy with the purchase, but the case doesn’t hold the bits securely, when opening the case for the first time the smaller bits were all over the place, small inconvenience, would definitely buy again.

I haven’t had the chance to usae them yet, but I’m sure they will get the job done dissecting my vape mods, cel phones, tablets, etc.

This Torx set has been great! I use it often (working on European vehicles) due to the low profile of the bits. So far not a single one has broken. Deal!

Works so far, we will see. This is a new one for me from Gearwrench, I have a lot of gearwrench products, will see how this one lasts, they are getting a bit hit and miss over the last 3-4 years. So far, they have worked well.

Received product in bag from salesperson in parking area during Covid-19 store closure. Discovered product was previously used – unwrapped and poorly retaped together and one bit was damaged. However due to pandemic decided to keep remaining usable bits.

security bits are for a specific screw and the tool needs to be strong as it has less metal than a standard torx bit.

Definitely need these if your torx bolts have that little pin in the middle of the head. Worked like a charm!

Pleasantly surprised at how good this tool looks and feels. The drivers are a nice stainless steel and the body is a surprisingly clean anodized aluminum, feels great in the hand. The ergonomics are not great for repeated/heavy use, but for odd jobs it’s completely suitable and compact.

Only major shortcoming is that one of the plastic spacers on the larger end does double-duty as the product information card. There are some perforations where it is supposed to tear away, but the perforations are not deep enough and does not tear easily.

I ended up having to completely remove the card, cut it into a washer/spacer shape myself, and reassemble the tool. It was a clever thought, but not implemented well enough. Would have preferred another “real” spacer and another way to attach the info card.

An impulse buy. Needed a torx bit for work job, but didn’t have the correct tool in the employer’s box of unknown tools. I purchased this set vs another set that was just as good or better, however this one was CHROMED.

Oooh La La! This set was quite a bit more than just regular set that wasn’t chromed finished. Wasn’t a quality, or function benefit but the all IT’S SO SHINY reason. The lesser priced Harbor Freight sets of similar size, function, and yes even quality are my recommendation if your needing a good quality set of torx bits.

No need to spend your money on this set unless you too get distracted by the Ooh it’s So Shiny lure. YOU CAN REPEL THE LURE! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! So you ended up with this set also? Oh well you tried.

No harm, no foul. It isn’t like you got a bad product. No you got another quality Harbor Freight Tool for little hard earned monies of yours. Go ahead and enjoy. These are good too cuz they’ll fit in your pocket with little to no bulge or uncomfortable lump in your pocket.

As a woman DIYer I am grateful for Harbor Freight for having the items I need to fix everyday household items. Greeted by two female associates as I entered the store, told them what tool I needed to work on my Shark Vacuum, as a simple screw driver would not work.

The associate walked me directly to the tool I needed, showed me the bit number I requested, and helped me to purchase. I was in and out in five minutes (love that). Took my new tool and put it to work immediately.

Fit perfectly to get the bottom plate off the vacuum, changed the belt, and put it back together. Vacuum works, tool was perfect and easy to use. A must for anyone who owns a Shark Vacuum or any other Shark product.

Way to go HF, you always make my life easier!.

I perform some limited gunsmithing for which I wanted three of these Bit Sets: one SAE, one Metric, and one Torx to use in a magnetic screwdriver. I have no need for the costly, large, multi-tool Armorer’s sets nor did I want to spend a great deal of money for a limited number of bits.

After having just returned two sets I had purchased from another online retailer, I thought I would give these a try. This set is better and I will be keeping them, but they suffer from one of the same problems as the others I returned.

I had immediate reservations when I noted that they were made in China. But, this is to be expected for the price, so I am not complaining about that specifically. The main problem with this set is that the smaller sized bits do not properly fit the screw heads, unless the finish is removed.

The smaller screws generally used for things such as mounting scopes on rifles or attaching grip panels are precisely machined and require the use of tools that are equally precisely machined. It appears as if these bits were probably machined to pretty close tolerances prior to the finish being applied.

The larger sized bits do not suffer from this problem. Other than that one specific issue, these seem to be pretty good for the price. The finish is quite nice and the sizes printed on the bits are very easy to see.

They are uniformly machined and appear as if they will be very durable, though only time will tell. They fit in the Screwdrive handle quite snug and are held tightly by the magnet. The case they come in isn’t worth spit and I will not be surprised at all if it is broke in short order, but that doesn’t particularly concern me.

I will in no way attest to their usage in a drill or impact driver! If your usage will be mostly with the largest six bits, I believe you will be totally satisfied with this set. For those of you who will mostly be using the smaller bits, I suppose you could do better, though I doubt at this price.

And, by simply scraping off the finish on the tips they fit the screw heads perfectly.

good magnet power, holds screws well. Very nice finish, good looking. That is where the pros end. I tried using the 1/8 to tighten the screws on a scope mount. It would not hold 18 inch pounds of torque, dug out a super cheapo shorty and it held up fine.

The pretty coating comes off and then they no longer fit.

This Hex Head Allen Wrench Driver Bit Set is well made and far more convenient to use than “L” Shaped hand Hex Head Allen Wrenches, the driving torque can be set on the cordless screwdriver, making these hex head driver bits more accurate than hand tightening.

A great addition to a bit set that adds further service options to small tasks.

The T50 was the right one for seat belt removal for many Fords. I used it with my breaker bar rather than the ratchet. At first I was concerned that I might break the bit but it was tough enough to crack the corrosion on all the junker seat belts I removed.

I might have bought a single T50 rather than the set but I was unsure if I was going to see a wider variety. I have since used the gimbal ratchet on other tasks. I am happy to own this set.

Found the Gimbal feature and its thumbscrew construction helpful in working in tight spaces. Pretty good selection of bits, nice add to the toolbox.

I needed something small and quick to take the distributor cap off my S10. This tool set did the trick. The included mini racket works like a charm. I highly recommend this set.

Amazing torx bits. I used them on my knives. Very, very good. Solid bits. Very reliable and strong.

Long lasting bit offered in a variety of individual sizes and in both meteric and standard.

Bought these to work on Stihl chainsaws. You need long torx to get to some of the bolts. These can get to the toughest locations and are strong enough to loosen heat cycled cylinder bolts. I would recommend these if you need long torx drivers.

I’ll start with the good: I like the looks of this screwdriver set and the materials used seem to be of good quality and I like the assortment of bits included. The two things I didn’t care for are first the hole where you insert the bits is a little over-sized but if you are only doing light work that may not matter.

Secondly and more importantly when I opened the package I noticed a very small cylinder shaped object loose in the package which turned out to be a magnet. I put one of the bits in the screw driver and held it vertically and sure enough the bit fell right out.

I called the company but being a Saturday, they were closed. I ended up putting the magnet on the base end of a bit and then put a drop of super glue on the other end of the magnet and inserted it into the screwdriver and let it dry.

Problem solved, it seems to be functioning the way it should. If the magnet had been installed I would have rated this product at least a 4 star. I would recommend this to a friend as long as i was for light use and I would advise them about the magnet problem.

Perfect for taking out in the field for any service needed on torx fasteners. Not much for extension, but there are other Wiha tools for that. IMHO Wiha is the best!

Exactly what i needed, had all the smaller hard to find sizes in high quality material that is critical for small size bits. Highly recommended.

Autozone for the win as they were the only local retailer open that had these when I needed one. I really needed a security Allen wrench bit but got by using the Torx. Still confused as to the reason there was even a security bolt on my motorcycle to begin with.

The holes are in the center, where they belong. If you read reviews on other cheap items and look at the pictures you’ll find the holes aren’t center on some of them, making the bits useless. Not with these, and they come with a color coded setup.

I got this one and the blue allen key set that is also tamper resistant.

The SureBilt Tamper Resistant Star Bit Set 13 Piece was what I need to remove a star bit on a vehicle that I was changing the headlight out. The set had the correct size star bit I needed to complete the job.

The fact it has other bits that I may need in the future is a blessing to have.
