20 Best Touchscreen Motorcycle Gloves (2022 Updated)

Indie Ridge has knocked it out of the ballpark again! I’ve purchased their gauntlet and camel/denim gloves in the past, and have been really pleased with them (see my other reviews), but with this 95deg + heat outside, I needed a glove to replace the woven mesh ones I had from another manufacturer.

Enter, Indie Ridge Powersport Gloves! These gloves have so many features that make them perfect for me for my summer gloves… 1. Vented, breathable fabric…I can actually feel air passing over my fingers when riding! 2.

Vented fingers…. yes, I said FINGERS! At the base of each finger, on the top of the hand, is a tiny ported vent. the air enters through the fabric on the finger and out of the vent. After a 2 hr ride in the heat today, my hands did not sweat at all!! 3.

Carbon Fiber knuckles…while I hope to never have a spill on my cruiser, I can rest assured my knuckles will not take a beating 4. Rubberized palms…. grip grip grippy is all I can say about that! I felt very much in control of the bike grips.

5. Secured wrist straps…. the wrap around Velcro can be adjusted for tight, or loose, depending on preference…easy to take on and off 6. Touchscreen fingertips…on 2 of the fingers on both hands…work great for me, but some have said they’ve had issues.

(I mean really, you’re on the motorcycle riding to clear your head, the last thing I want to do is mess with my smartphone…just saying!!) As I said before, I’ve got 2 other pair of Indie Ridge gloves that fit just right after using their chart guide, but on these powersports ones, I might suggest ordering the next size larger on these.

Regardless, if they don’t fit, if you’ve ordered under Prime they have free returns (as of now), or if you don’t want to go that route, give Steve the CEO a call (his number is included on a card in every package) and inquire about their Live Free Guarantee…you can’t go wrong!.

They’re amazing. They fit perfectly according to the size chart. They’re ultra tactile. They have nice knuckle dusters (that I love for beating on the windows of cars that come into my lane). And they’re wind permeable – perfect summer ventilation, especially for bikes without fairings.

They’re better than my last pair, which cost me $150. I will NEVER buy other moto gloves from anywhere else ever again. A+++.

*Got these one day before my Basic Rider’s Course. PROS: Palm protection looks rationally durable, but if you ride hard I can see these gloves falling to pieces within months. fit, feel and look are awesome.

Touchscreen capabilities (technically) work, but you’re better off using Siri if you have a bluetooth set-up. CONS: Backhand protection will be very limited being that this is a $20 lightweight summer glove (Keep that in mind).

I don’t plan on using these for freeway use AT ALL. Lastly, they have this distinct, odd stench to the rubber, I’m guessing?? Might hand wash them in cold water w/ OxyClean and air-dry orrr just return them bc “aint nobody got time for that.

These are good gloves. The palm leather is on the thin side (feels like a driving glove) and in a couple of accident follow-ups I have seen on this glove, the leather does not extend up the side of the hand as much as it should and the glove ends up tearing.

I would consider this a good glove though while keeping a lookout for a primary pair of heavier duty gloves. I would love to see a glove like this in kevlar and leather palm with the palm side kevlar+leather.

You might also consider this glove for a passenger.

These are good summer gloves. Decent protection, good airflow especially if you spread your fingers, On the downside, the touch finger does not work with my Iphone. Not really and issue for me but it is advertised as a feature.

And the fingers are a bit long, I wear an X large and that has not been a problem with other gloves. The Velcro cuff gets to be a pain taking the gloves off and on, it’s really not necessary for this type of glove.

Otherwise they seem well made and I’m more likely to wear them on hot days than go barehanded, which is a big plus.

I compared this glove to the Alpinestars Copper Gloves, and the Alpinestars SMX-1 Air V2 Gloves. My use case is for very light riding all seasons, mostly 2-3 seasons, typically lower speed riding. Since I’m typically riding in non winter temperatures, and at lower speeds, I wanted to keep my gloves lighter, but still have some protection in case something actually happened.

For comparison to Alpinestars SMX-1 Air V2 Gloves, scroll to the bottom. Here’s why I chose the Super Moto Gloves compared to the Alpinestars Copper Gloves. 1) Light weight feel. The Moto gloves and Copper gloves were the only two that felt lightweight & flexible.

The Copper gloves are all textile, and so they have good airflow and are pretty flexible as well, as to be expected. The Moto gloves to my surprise, actually maintain the same level of flexibility as the Copper gloves, while also providing leather around the knuckle, and leather along the bottom.

inside of the glove (instead of textile like the Copper). Further on comfort, the Copper gloves are light weight and airy, however there is a seam that can be felt very easily along the side and ends of every finger, which is not felt at all on the Moto glove (Johnny Rocket probably designed the seam to not be felt AKA better design).

The actual knuckle protection puck also seems ever so slightly less noticeable when wearing the Moto glove, which was surpassing given its more leather construction. 2) The wrist wrap/enclosure feels nicer on the Moto, because it’s a little bit longer, and because the strap is very long and flat, giving it a almost delicate but secure feeling on your wrist.

The copper gloves have a very typical velcro, which is strong, but it’s a shorter strap which ends up feeling very strong, but a bit suffocating/straining on your wrist. The wrist enclosure is also shorter on the Copper gloves, which ends up giving you more of a feeling that the glove is going to fall off.

3) Protection. The Moto gloves have leather on the interior, and around the knuckle puck. It also has actual light finger sliders (instead of textile on the fingers of the Copper), and the puck covers a much wider area on the palm, compared to the Copper gloves.

Overall it’s just a better protection glove. For all these reasons I chose the Moto for my light riding needs. Very flexible & comfortable, better protection that Copper glove, same price as Copper glove, and personally I think it looks a bit better as well.

For the Alpinestars SMX-1 Air V2 Gloves, I immediately cancelled it out because it doesn’t feel nearly as flexible/light weight as the Moto or Copper gloves. It feels more like a heavier riding glove, which is something I didn’t want due to my low speed, 2-3 season riding.

I’m not going to go into a ton of detail on the glove, but I will say that it seems like it’s going to be a great glove when you see the “features”, but this glove lacks a lot of flexibility; it very has stretch areas because it has POOR flexibility and comfort, and is trying to make up for it.

Not the other way around. Either way, they don’t seem to make much of a difference. The glove feels very stiff, and doesn’t feel remotely like a lighter riding glove (which is fine for those who don’t want or care about that).

The glove obviously has very good protection with a relatively light/soft line of protection on the side of the hand, and slightly thicker leather than the Moto Glove. It also has a few dots of perforation on the bottom that the Moto doesn’t have (not sure if that’ll make a difference).

If you’re wondering if this glove has the same noticeable stitching along the fingers that the Copper gloves do — it does. It’s slightly less noticeable then on the textile Copper fingers, but it’s still not as comfortable seamless (not literally) feeling that the Moto gloves have.

That’s about all I’ll say here. Happy riding everyone. P. S. , I ordered the Johnny Rocket Moto Gloves in Large, Alpinestars Copper Gloves in XL, and SMX-1 Air V2 in XL. All fit fine.

After 2 weeks of every day use: While these fit fairly well, They are a bit short fingered. While wearing the gloves don’t bother me off te bike, they press against my fingertips and cause numbness when riding.

I thought it was just my riding position and hand grip, but after hyper fixated on these issues, nothing has improved. They are breathable, conform to the hand very well, and look great, If you tend to have longer fingers, these might not be for you, or I recommend a size up.

I also have noticed that while gripping the throttle, the glove has too much play for my taste. The palm of the glove tends to stay while my hand goes down to accelerate, causing a slightly loose feel in an area I want to be more stiff.

As far as quality, I have noticed my index finger tip to be pulling away from the seem while I have started getting loose threads in various areas of the inside of the glove.

I bought these to use until Klim gets their gloves back in stock. Value for the money is very good. The Super Moto gloves are quite comfortable with only a few very minor annoyances when new, after a few rides they are quite comfortable.

The tops are essentially all mesh and breathe welll. The leather palms offer excellent feel and control. I don’t get any bunching of material. I’ve worn these on several short rides and two 6 hour rides i temps ranging from the low 60s to 90 degrees.

If you’re looking for an affordable warm weather glove the Super Moto is an excellent choice.

Just received. They look nice, glad I chose XL, they run small. Well put together. Fingertip seams are a bit large/bumpy. Not expensive gloves, will due the job. Feel thick enough. Will take some breaking in, not very supple.

Quality construction upon first inspection. Gel palm makes the ride much more enjoyable, no more numbness after riding for a while. The gloves are cool enough for the hot afternoon rides, but not too cool for the brisk mountain mornings.

All in all, a solid buy for the price!.

They are perfect. My husband loves them. They fit perfectly and work great with his phone. Now he does have to take his gloves off every time he changed his music.💜

Overall I like them. I like how they look, air just pours in. They are CE rated unlike allot of others in this price ranges/style. The foam material on the top actually absorbs a lot of impact (can bang the back of your hand on something hard and not even feel it).

Good flex at the thumb to operate turn signal. Some thick material on the palm/side I think that could be good to have if they meet the pavement. I like the size. People say they run small. I have short fingers and usually have an extra pocket at my fingertips with most other types of gloves, but not with these.

They fit great. My main gripe with these is the cuff is pretty rough inside. The stitches and seams are sharp. Doesn’t seem to bother me while riding though, and I have hopes it will go away as they break in.

Good for somebody that hates wearing gloves. I used super thin motocross gloves before these, and these are about as light, but much more protective than those.

The contour of the glove, combined with the fact that they run small in sizing, makes the glove tight on the hand. If you don’t mind this then they are an excellent glove. If you like your gloves a little looser, go up a size.

They may stretch a little, but only time will tell. Only the index fingers of each glove will work with your touchscreen phones; the other digits do not. If you have set up a fingerprint for getting into your phone these obviously will not work, so plan on either changing that or adding an additional option to get past the screen lock so you don’t have to keep taking your glove off while at speed.

Overall quality feels good, with ample amounts of protection on the knuckles and leather starting in the palm and wrapping around the lower of the hand.

The Reef gloves are great. I have the Copper ones which is very similar to these ones. Both very good gloves. Only thing I noticed is that the Reef gloves have a slight looser fit on the fingers and is slightly tighter to put on compared to the Copper gloves.

But not a major issue.

Gloves feel and fit well; possibly run a little larger compared to other brands. They offer protection without being too hot. I can’t speak to longevity but they seem to be well made. I bought two pairs of summer gloves.

The others are getting more use right now and fit snugger but these are very nice. They are just on a motorcycle I am not riding as much right now.

I wear XL gloves in many of the “popular” style gloves, like Mechanics Wear. After reading reviews here, I ordered 2XL for these. My fingers barely fit (length). My XL Harley gloves, which are a bit snug in the thumbs but overall fit, give way more room than these.

Now Leather Up wants $9. 99 to return a pair of $19. 95 gloves. almost a waste of time. I’ve purchased some good things on this site, but these gloves aren’t even realistic size-wise.

These look and feel great! However, they run just a little on the small side. Don’t know if wear will make them fit better. Good value!

Super comfortable, solid feeling glove. They’re expensive, but you get what you pay for. Went down on a low-side last season and protection is second-to-none. Do note, however, that these gloves do fit smaller than other Alpinestars gloves (and similar brands).

I also have a pair of the GP Tech gloves and have had other comparable brands as well, all of which I have worn in size 2XL. Based on other reviews I had read online about the Supertech gloves, I decided to go with the 3XL and they fit perfectly.

snug. actually a little tighter than the 2XL GP Tech’s, in fact. Not just a smaller fit, they have a better contour than other gloves I’ve worn and I find them to be very comfortable to wear, like they were sewn from a mold of my own hand.

but for a whole day riding out on the street, you may prefer something a little more forgiving/looser, as they do start to feel a little tight/constraining after a while, I find. But keep in mind, top-notch protection on the track is what these gloves were made for, not cruising comfort.

I really wanted to love these gloves– and I do– but within just 40 miles of very light riding, a seam is already starting to split on the finger. The quality doesn’t seem to hold up to other Alpinestars products.

Great quality and very comfortable. Feels very padded and soft, looking forward to trying them out more.

As with the other reviews, I do love the style and protection of these gloves. Based on the other reviews I upsized on fit when ordered to a large. Across the palm is great, but fingers are a tad long.

The main issue is the RIGHT glove feels smaller than the left. From snugness of pulling it on through the wrist over my hammock to the index and middle finger feeling like the blood is getting closed off when gripped around the throttle.

Like two different gloves. I would have returned but I thought it was just new glove tightness hoping it would stretch out with use. So far still uncomfortable. Sucky. They’re not cheap enough to shelf.

For mesh gloves, I think they are great if they fit you. Tons of airflow, as expected from a mesh glove. protection is not very good, but then again, they are mesh, not race gauntlets. But to me, these gloves are terrible and it’s all about the fit.

Based on another pair of Alpinestars (GP Pro) for which I had to size up to a Large from my usual Medium, I did order a pair of Large but they were too big. Sold them to a friend and bought the mediums.

The palm is OK for my hand. But the fingers are tight and short. After an hour, my thumb hurts by the nail. The seems of the fingers, inside the glove, are also annoying after a (short) while on the bike.

I thought it would get better after a brake in period but after after a few rides, maybe 15 to 20 hours on the bike, but no. So to me, the Mediums have too short fingers and the Large is just too big overall.

I dont care for big bulkey gloves that you pull up to your elbows and they feel like choppers that you would wear while snowmobiling. So when I set out to find a pair of gloves on Revzilla I was looking for something that had a low cuff, decent closure system and a close fit so I didn’t lose the sensation of the bars.

Air Flow I am not sure I would wear these riding in 30 degree weather but the day I wore these home from picking up my bike from the serve department at the dealership it was about 50 degrees. At certain points I was cruising at 80+ mph and my hands were plenty warm.

I guess we will see how they do when it is 90 degrees this summer Quality/features: For the money, the build quality and leather portions are real nice. The knuckle protector is a bit too robust, when flexing your hand but I am sure it will protect you more than adequately.

Fit I am tiny sausage fingers and small hands for a dude and I had to send my mediums back to get a large. I literally could not even get the mediums on my hands. SIZE UP — free advice. The large seemed a but stiff at first but it takes some time to break them in and stretch them out.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. My gloves always seem to wear out prematurely so we will see if these hold up. I have Alpine Star boots and I love those so I am hoping the gloves do the same for at least a couple seasons.

I have no illusions that these gloves are going to last me 5 seasons of riding, hoping to get 2 out of them.

They are good, except the pinky finger seems to be short. The glove fits very well, not too tight and no I don?t have an extra long pinky finger. Maybe order a size bigger for yourself.

I have just received these today. On first glance, they appear to be exactly what I had wanted. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection the left-hand glove is slightly smaller than the right-hand glove.

I didn’t even notice it myself until I tried them on. At first I thought that somehow I had gotten one XL glove (what I ordered) and one L glove. However, both are tagged from Highway 21 as being XL.

So, clearly this is NOT RevZilla’s fault. I just seem to have gotten an irregular pair. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the problem until after I had thrown out the packaging. So. I am unable to return these and am now stuck with a pair of $27 gloves which I cannot use and will only lay around the house for the next 20 years or so.

Guess I have learned my lesson. My review? My right glove is great!!! The left glove. not so much.

Bought this glove for when I ride my scooter around town. I give you a bit of protection for the palm of the hand, and some warmth. I live in SF and my hands stay warm in the cold. If you fall hard on these gloves, im pretty sure they wont protect your hands since the main material is thin.

Overall, has great grip on the pal because of the suede type of material and very comfortable!!!!.

these gloves are usually good, very good. However the last pair I purchased lasted two days and the seams came apart, I would’ve sent them back to Fortnine for a refund but I’m currently travelling through the United States so there’s no way for me to do that.

I toss them in the trash unfortunately. they are usually awesome gloves. I just got a bad pair.

First off, these gloves looks fantastic. Modern enough to not look dated, understated enough to not draw attention. Plus the two tone of black with peanut butter palms just is badass in my opinion. The gloves fit and articulate well.

It’s lightweight and feels solid enough to protect your hands in less severe incidents. The fatal flaw though, is the seam running along thee “L” between your forefinger and thumb. It is just stitched in the wrong place.

When gripping your handlebars, the seam provides a pretty uncomfortable hotspot, particularly on your thumb. You can definitely tolerate it on shorter rides, but longer rides will surely leave you with blisters, Although twice the price, I would much rather use the Automag, the styling is VERY similar, with the Automag looking a bit more silly in my eyes, but the upgrade in materials, protection and most of all comfort, the Automag is the much better choice.

Really happy with these gloves. Great materials, leather is nice and soft and the textiles feel great. I like the hard knuckles and that’s one of reasons I chose these over the Sand model gloves. Happy I made that decision as these feel nice and stout.

I wear a medium in most gloves and specifically Mechanix brand and these fit perfectly. They have good amounts of ventilation and don’t get too hot. They don’t insulate well obviously but with heated grips they’re fine to ride with in single digit temperatures.

My only complaint is one of the seams on the thumb was a bit scratchy when I first put them on. I turned the glove inside out and trimmed back a small part of the same and now they’re perfect. Overall would highly recommend the Dirt 3 gloves.

As soon as I took these glove out of the package, I immediately knew that I was holding a quality product. The were, soft, yet felt solid, the fit was true to any European sized gloves, and they just felt damn good when I put them on.

I only have a few nit picks. the airflow is mostly via perforations in the palm, which, when you are riding, is closed off. On warmer days I ride with my fingers on the levers to get more air into the gloves.

They cold have put more venting on the back of the gloves, since these are considered summer gloves. The next thing is the wrist section of the glove, it neither big enough or small enough to fit over or under the cuff of my jacket.

It is always either pushing up the sleeve, or being pushed down by the jacket sleeve. They could have made it a little bigger to go over the sleeve. You may not have this problem, depending on your jacket.

The last complaint is about the touchscreen ability. They put it on the pad of the first finger and thumb, instead of the ends of the fingers, where you do your typing. The pad of of the fingers is too big of an area to ever punch a touchscreen button, you punch several buttons at the same time, and none register i couldn’t even punch in my four diget code to unlock the phone.

if you are choosing this glove because it is the only Held glove with this feature, don’t bother, you have to take you gloves off anyway. These complaints are minor, and not deal breakers for me, I like the gloves very much, they are comfortable and protective, that what gloves are supped to be.

I was looking for an everyday glove that I could use with a touch screen. Held was more than the others but the fit, finish, usability and comfort make them a good value. I’ve put about 1,000 miles on them in 40-80 weather.

They work at 40 with heated grips. The palmer surface perforations work as expected. It’s not a race glove but if the sas fabric works couple with the kangaroo leather you should have reasonable protection for most legal speeds.

For track days I’ll go with race gloves.
