20 Best Towel For Hair (2022 Updated)

I originally bought this towel a year ago and it does the job for drying my hair. I have a short bob and the towel is big and a little bulky but I’ve had no trouble with it staying on my head. However, I bought eight more towels for gifts and only the two cream towels came in the cylinder packaging.

The others came in a heavy plastic zip bag. The host showed the towel and headband in the cylinder. I’m very disappointed in the packaging not as shown since these are going to be gifts. I may return them.

I have very long thick hair (hip length), it is longer than the towel but it is not a problem, I just fold it back upon itself before twisting. The towel is so light that I can have it on my head for a prolonged amount of time without getting a headache or neck ache as I do in a short amount of time with a standard towel! It does shorten hair drying time, I would say about the same amount as a large heavy standard towel.

After use, the towel does also dry considerably quicker than a standard towel, so no damp smell.

Is it wrong to buy a hair wrap strictly to match your eyeshadow? I say no! 😂 The one I’m wearing is slightly different shown but other than the color mine also has a bow tie. This still has the micro fiber material (85% polyester) and helps absorb wet hair but I use mine to keep my hair back when I take my makeup off and apply my lotions and potions 😁.

This is a slightly tight band but will definitely loosen the more you use it. I recommend washing it in cold water and letting it air dry. You can tumble dry this I think it will last longer if you don’t.

I have the Sleek’e Microfiber Headband in light blue. Its made of moisture wicking material that supposed to dry hair by 50% of the time while also reducing frizz and flyaways. I can’t say I really use it for drying my hair necessarily.

I mainly use it for when I wash my face of apply makeup to keep my hair out of my face. It stretches and fits my head snugly and comfortably while keeping my little flyaways tucked down. It also has a little bow on top which is super cute.

The only thing I will say is that I would definitely wash before first use. There was some shedding of the microfiber material that I found on my face, hair. And clothing. No big deal but something to think about.

I have the black one of this. It has a button sewed onto the front, then end of it has an elastic loop to hook to the button. I have never figured out how to do it. There were no directions. The only reason it got one star is because it’s microfiber and packaging was nice.

But no directions, confusing, doesn’t really fit. Not recommended. I should’ve bought a regular microfiber towel. No wrap. Disappointed.

Yet another Kitsch product I’m extremely dissatisfied with. I have medium to long curly hair but thin. This turban is probably made with long or thick hair in mind. That means when I’m plopping, I’m being left with an empty turban, very hard to stabilise and very big and bulky.

The button isn’t on the base of my neck but higher so if you haven’t got long thick hair or an afro, I don’t think it’s useful. Since I cannot fill it up, my hair stays wet even after 8 hours!.

This is the hair turban I’m steroids! I’m in love! My curls have never been happier. I’ve got thick densely packed 3b/3c curls. My dry time is cut by 2/3rds!! Also I really enjoy that they button isn’t at the base of the towel but rather at the top back of your head.

So you don’t stretch it too much or make it feel to tight. This feels snug and I want them to make more colors.

I bought this as a gift. I have the champagne color and love it too. The textile feels so classy, its thick and can easily dry my hair. The friend who got the gift love it as well. Great gift and great for personal use.

Reviews say it cuts your drying time in half; didn’t do so for my hair. In fact, until I take it off, my hair is pretty much wet and intact. And I have very short hair. Reviews also say it restores shine to your hair and eliminates frizziness; I noticed a slight difference in both, yes, but your local climate and water has lots to do with the health of your hair.

The towel is great quality yes, but like I said, if you’re buying it for the quality then yes, go ahead. But if for the rest of its features then it’s a hit or miss, frankly.

Overall, The Original Turbie Twist Super Absorbent Hair Towel is okay and works well but not well enough for me. I wouldn’t repurchase this product for myself. The product itself is lightweight and easier to use than a large bath towel on your head.

It keeps your hair in place and the product does dry your hair. To say it dries it super fast and it’s super absorbing, not for me. I have medium to medium long hair and using it would keep my hair in place and out of my way until my hair dried but it still took my hair two to three hours to dry compared to air drying without a towel.

I would say it’d probably work better with thinner or shorter hair but maybe it’s just me being impatient. The product does as it states and is as described.

I’ve used TurbieTwist for over a decade and have no complaints. I was expecting *pink* TurbieTwists since that’s how the color is described in walmart. com’s item details. It would have fit in with my bathroom scheme nicely.

Instead I received one blue and one white TurbieTwist. Not a huge problem to change my initial plans. Yes, I read walmart. com’s it’s-not-our-fault-it’s-the manufacturer’s warning — but since walmart.

com is evidently not responsible for this item’s color, I recommend changing *Color: Pink* to something like *Assorted* or *Varied*. Realistically, I don’t expect walmart. com to do this for its TurbieTwist customers.

But adding my two cents anyway.

This Crown Affair Towel is by far my favorite towel! And I have really nice towels! It’s perfect! The design is brilliant. Why has no one thought of this before? It’s an actual towel as opposed to those tiny baby turbans.

And it’s much lighter in weight than a bath towel. so it doesn’t break your neck when you wrap it up. It’s actually perfect! I love it! I would keep it on all day. but then again there are places to go!.

First of all, I have very long, waist length, fine hair (and I have a lot of it! It’s not thin. See picture. ) So many reviews talked about how the Aquis towel was too small for them. There are a few options and you can find on the Aquis website.

I bought the Aquis original hair towel in white. It is a rectangle, with no loops or elastic and anything. Just a flat 19×42 inch towel. Pros: It is soft. It was not expensive at TJ MAXX. It did wick excess moisture from hair faster than a cotton towel does.

I felt like my hair was less frizzy and was softer after using it. It is thin, so I dont feel like there is a massive bulky weight on my head like the cotton towels feel. Cons: It is too small after all.

I couldn’t get all of hair in comfortably without putting it on in a crooked way, and it still didn’t get everything. I tried multiple ways, but it just doesn’t quite work for twisting it up. It does not stay put very well either.

Overall, I would try the turban from Aquis because I like the brand and the fabric and the idea, it just isn’t quite the right size. I will keep using it to pat my head dry and to put it up for a few minutes.

I may see if my husband would want to use it because he has shoulder length hair and it might be big enough for him. #haircare #beautytools #hair.

I have had this for a few months now. I don’t think it absorbs water like the higher priced Aquis I buy at Nordstrom. I have long straight hair and it wraps fine. What I do not like is that it starts to smell after a couple of uses despite air drying.

I tried to get the funky smell out with sanitizer laundry solution, etc, but after a couple of tries, it’s now a hand towel. I’ll keep using my pricer version without the funky smell.

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review for this product until now. These are the absolute greatest towels for drying hair. My sister gave me one for Christmas a few years ago and then I purchased this one as a gift for my boyfriend who has really, really long hair.

He loves it, too. My hair takes forever to dry (it’s long and naturally dry and on top of it all I get it bleached regularly, so it absorbs ALL the water) but using my Aquis cuts that time down drastically.

It’s so gentle on my damaged hair, too. I feel like regular towels are too rough and just cause even more dryness frizz, but my Aquis towel actually takes care of my hair. I am forever a customer and will always recommend that everyone gets their own Aquis.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. I’ve noticed a huge decrease in frizz ones with her hair. Works great for her to leave treatments on her hair and dry overnight. This is great for frizz, drying, treatments and general upkeep of hair.

Works very well on curly hair and maintaining uniform curls while drying. The cute mermaid pattern helped a lot with convincing my daughter to try it. Now she uses it daily. Awesome product.

Okay y’all. I have had this guy for about a month now and I have used it so much- I absolutely love it!!! I was on the search for the perfect hair towel because normal towels are not good for damaged hair, can damage hair themselves, and they are sooo heavy when I wrap my hair with one- I can feel my roots being ripped.

This little guy is perfect. My hair is halfway down my back and heavy (although thinning so much), and this towel wraps it all up in a light twist. I feel so fabulous coming out the shower and throwing this on, going about my post shower skincare routine without a heavy towel dragging me down and threatening to fall off my head if I blink the wrong way.

The little button fastening system this hair wrap comes with is the best solution- so simple! Anyhoo, I love this, I can’t go without it anymore. I will likely order another so I can have one in the wash and not be without one! I received a hair towel sample as part of my order several month’s ago. I’m not going to lie I never thought I would ever use it until one day I just gave it a try. I highly recommend and love this product so much I bought two more for my mom and daughter.

This towel is great because it quickly wicks water from hair. Getting hair to a damp state as quickly as possible without heat or friction helps minimize damage and breakage. My hair is thick shoulder length and takes forever to dry.

This is amazing in winter so I can just wrap it up and it’s no longer dripping everywhere. I can even lay in bed or sit on the couch without drenching my pillows. When I dry without heat my hair is healthier, shinier, less frizzy & styles better and even your color lasts longer.

The Button-loop closure at top makes it super easy to secure and fits snugly on your head. I honestly forget I have it on! This is a great gift for any man or woman in your life. Excellent quality. I only wish it had more colors.

So I bought the dark grey towel as the pink was out of stock. Sad times but I needed a much longer microfibre towel than most places sell. Appearance, it’s actually a lovely grey colour. Actually do not mind it wasn’t the pink one that I had initially wanted.

It also feels soft. Lovely quality and it’s such a good length and size. Very easy to use. I have long medium wavy hair and my hair fits inside it no problem as usually I would find my hair is too long for the towel I was using.

Honestly my favourite microfibre towel and I have loads. Totally worth the money and I would buy again when I need a new one which I can tell won’t be for a while as it’s such good quality.

I have been using a cotton t-shirt and decided to try this as the t-shirt is a bit small really and gets over saturated so easily. I’ve had a microfibre towel before that was absolute rubbish, but this one is honestly brilliant.

It’s such good quality, it’s thick, it’s big, it doesn’t get over saturated with water and my hair feels about 50% drier after I’ve plopped in this compared to the t-shirt. Reduces my dry time considerably.

I haven’t worked out how to use the button bits to hold it all up yet but they did email me a link after my purchase with more info on that so I just need to take the time to look. It is expensive especially as postage is quite a lot but it really is good quality and I think worth it.

I bought the Only Curls 4 x bottle mini selection set plus I also purchased their towel to try. There are so many other products out there offering the same results I thought this mini selection is ideal, reasonable price and why not give it a go what have I got to lose!! Well oh boy I am in love with these products I never thought that my fine limp hair – due to having an under active Thyroid and also being menopausal would get it’s wave and bounce back after years of blow drying and using straighteners!! The towel is so soft and somehow magically helps getting my hair to have a curl when I use it to scrunch dry!! My hair is also so soft where previously when I used a curling mouse, gel it would be hard.

I will be purchasing all the regular sized bottles soon, but if you want to try them out first I really recommend the sample box – go on you won’t be disappointed xx.

I just got it today by mail so let’s see if it really dries right away. I have thicker hair and long hair. I am a busy Mom so I hope this cuts the time to at least damp my hair to get ready for the day.

I will follow with more feedback. It came with a small box and folded inside. I thought the package will be a cylinder for this towel because I saw it at the store. I hope is the same thing.
