No, this did not meet my expectations! I specifically asked for the size of each block. I was told 7. 5 or so inches long and about 2. 5 inches wide. This is not the case! They are 4. 5 inches wide and about 1.

5 inches wide. They will not work for outdoor games. Why ask a question if you are going to give incorrect info?! Quite annoyed!.

This is an awesome game. i bought it for christmas for big group family games. It was a hit blocks are a good size and well made. game is good for older people too. Comes in great carry bag with score board.

Was solid good set but would consider it a large set not giant, I returned as I wanted a bigger set. With that said it was sturdy and had a nice bag, just not the size I was looking for. Very easy return too and arrived quickly!.

We love playing with this but be careful with your toes. These blocks are heavy and could hurt you when they fall. I make sure we play on the carpet so the blocks don’t chip when they fall and they don’t crack my tile.

The kids and adults love playing this game.

We got this game for our wedding and it was a hit! I love that the blocks are finished and have numbers on them. We made our custom rules, even picking themed rules (a wedding theme and a drinking theme).

The case is huge, please don’t underestimate it. It’s well build and price is well matched. BUT if you consider that a Mini Bar refrigerator, costs 65 dlls in Walmart. And this PC case its around the same size.

I could say the Mini Bar Refrigerator is way COLDER than this case and it’s the same size. Anyhow, this case looks hot and its easy to build. Also its relative silent. BUT! Here are the little details you will encounter as you build it.

-The Power supply stays at the back and low, cables for +12 mainboard do not reach in some power supply. (It’s IRONIC cause the power supply was a new Thermaltake RGB and cables did not reach) – You’ll need to purchase extensions for the power supply cables if they don’t reach.

Which I did but didn’t care, but its 10-20 dlls unnecessary. -If you were thinking to use the mainboard cables that were included in your mainboard, just hope they are longer than 3 feet. You’ll need long!, unless you have only 2 drives, 1 SSD and 1 HDD you can mount them very close at the bottom.

– The power supply doesn’t seal at the back. The power supply has a dedicated mount that has a small gap in the back cover, it looks like they will seal close, but they don’t, they are about 1cm apart when closed.

– Did I mention gaps? This case has lots of gaps in several parts of the case, I have my house clean and tidy, thus I don’t really care about dust cause its clean. But if you are one of those people that don’t clean your house in a daily basis and have open windows.

That dust, will enter without mercy from the bottom of the case and back. The case does have have magnetic filters that can be removed and cleaned, but, its not enough when you have 1 cm gaps. – Air comes from the bottom and goes upward.

Nothing wrong here, but why do I complain about it? Well you see, the top plastic cover, covers the exhaust!!, Not so much a design flaw, but all the heat from inside the case, gets trapped with the plastic cover at the top, the 140mm fan will push air silently and fast, but the cover has small holes without a fan, thus heat exits the case very slowly.

There are no mounts to place fans to help push the air. At times you can touch the plastic cover and feels warm from all the hot air trapped there. At the bottom of the case they are 4 circles around 1 1/2 inch big, and 2 “u” shaped holes around 1cm wide.

This holes are quite big and will let air get in which is good, but they are not filtered, thus dust could enter. And if you live in Australia or in a town with lots of bugs. You just have an open door to cozy place to live for them.

If you are looking for a show case to put a dual custom water cooling loop in this is the case for you. If you are looking for a case to do air or AIO cooling stay away. Even though this case has space for more than 10 fans there is no air flow through the main part of the case where all of the components are.

the most you can do is put a fan on the hard drive cage at the bottom to push air up from the bottom of the case over your components. the rest of the fans are on the top and in the back. When talking about AIO cooling solutions, unless you have a AIO with long tubing between the radiator and cpu mount then you will not be able to mount it anywhere.

So while this is a great and sturdy case I would suggest something else if you are looking at AIO or air cooling your machine.

It has space galore, but one is limited as to well that volume is used. What will surprise most builders is that the number of bays is actually a bit limited. As a design statement, it is bold but also cumbersome; huge and heavy.

makes one almost wish there was more equipment to bolt in there to help fill the void. There are significant air gaps when assembled, so airflow and dust management could prove to be an issue over the short term.

I was torn between this and the Cooler Master MT500MC, which I think is the better made case of the two, but overpriced for its size. However, the fit and finish of the Cooler Master – which a colleague bought just recently – is clearly superior.

This came very fast and that was good. We had pRty and played this game which is great. The pieces are very smooth which made the game fun. I also like the numbers on some blocks which made it a real challenge.

I believe my Prime Tower speakers have been played enough to be broken in by now. I really enjoyed the speaker placement article I was sent. As the placement of the Prime Towers is very critical to how they sound.

I expected to be blown away with the imaging and detail based on all the reviews I read. I was not pleased with them when they were on the floor. So I moved them around quite a bit, with little improvement.

On the plus side, I now consider myself an expert at running the Audyssey on the Denon. When I put them on stands there was a noticeable improvement. Unfortunately, the lowest my current speaker stands will go is 13.

I’m 61, and have listened to music over 10 hours a day, every day for most of my life. I love Jazz, classical, big band, rock and country music. So I’ve tested the speakers on a wide variety of music.

I was unable to listen to the SVS recommended music list as the “free” trial service requires a CC so they can auto-bill you at the end of the trial. Apparently, the streaming service SVS uses doesn’t believe they provide enough value for someone to subscribe without being auto-billed.

They bank on people getting caught up in life and forgetting to cancel. So I’ve used CD’s which contain the music I’ve used to compare many speakers throughout my life. The streaming music I listen to is in 258 kbps.

Most of my CD’s have been converted to 258 kbps files so I can listen to them via HEOS as well. I prefer my music to sound as close to what I remember hearing during the live performances as possible.

I still need to find some 8 inch stands, which will support the weight of the Prime Towers. Then replace my old monster cables that I’m using with more of the SVS cable, I’ll need about 200 more feet to finish it out.

And of course, I have to do the work, which depends on how I’m feeling on how soon I get to it. The Prime Towers are short runs as they are my front speakers, so they will be the easiest. But I used the SVS cable I purchased on my middle speakers because cutting it in half worked perfectly for those two speakers.

They do sound better on the SVS cable than they did with my old Monster Cable. Good cable does make an audible difference in the sound quality. My room is 15′ by 17′ 6″, with an opening of 9′ at the back to my breakfast nook which is another 9′ deep.

It’s a hard room, with wood floors, leather furniture, wood blinds, and no drapes. Due to my allergies, I don’t have anything soft in the room that can hold allergens to aggravate my allergies. But it also won’t absorb any sound, so it’s a hard room, but I’m not hearing much reflection.

My back speakers are at 17′ 6″. My subs are on the LFE cable, and the rest of the speakers are powered by my Denon AVR-S740 7. 2 system. I’m not usually one who returns things, so I threw away the boxes when I got these and don’t plan on returning them.

I still move them around, as well as other items in the room, trying to get the sound right. Hopefully with new cables and the proper 8″ stands it will get them sounding better and I won’t have to move any more furniture.

If after any more adjustments I can get some decent imaging from these Prime Towers, I will update this review.

I began my foray into the world of high fidelity audio with a Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver powering a pair of Polk Audio RTI-A3 bookshelves, which in comparison to acting else I’d owned sounded fantastic, until I blew them out.

I then went with a pair of Klipsch Rb51 ii, which were a huge step up, so shortly thereafter I upgraded to a monolith by monoprice x2 and a DACMagic 200m, powering my first Floorstanding speakers, a pair of Klipsch RP280f, which were fantastic, but a little on the bright side.

I have since purchased the SVS Prime Towers and was amazed at the quality and clarity! The 3. 5 way crossover design give an exceptionally balanced and blended sound. The bass is incredible for a pair of towers without a dedicated sub.

SVS has won a customer for life and despite owning that’s for less than six months, I can’t wait to upgrade to the Pinnacles!.

I don’t often leave reviews unless I’m really loving an item of have a negative experience. I can tell you there is absolutely nothing that I do not love about this system. I looked at many options and listened to many different surround systems and I can tell you I am so glad I took these for a 45 day test drive.

First off the team at SVS are great I emailed several times, did live chat and even spoke on the phone before purchasing these. The team was always helpfull and we’re not pushy in trying to sell their system.

Their main concern was making sure I got exactly what I wanted and took the time to help me figure out what I needed based on room size, what I was driving the system with and what I wanted to get from my listening experience.

Buying could not have been made any easier. I ordered online and everything showed up 5 days later although there was an issue with fedx forgetting to unload one speaker they showed delivered. I called the team at SVS and they told me if it did not show up by the end of the day they would get another one to me to take care of it.

Thankfully it showed up this was no fault of SVS at all and they were still willing to take care of it. All speakers were packed perfectly and all contents were in perfect condition. The craftsmanship on these speakers is top notch and the cabinets are flawless.

Now for the sound I am blown away by how much I was missing with my old surround sound. I have been watching movies and listening to music for the last several days with a huge smile on my face. I am simply amazed at the sound quality of this system.

So if your on the fence and can’t decide what system to get I recommend trying these first I’m sure your experience will be amazing and you will be happy you tried these first.

I have an older A71 full tower that has been the base of three custom builds over the years, but for my new Ryzen 5, I wanted something with more open visibility. I purchased the largest Noctua 14 series heat sink which wouldn’t fit in my A71, so this was was one of the few that could house it.

Thermaltake builds on it’s decades-long legacy of quality, functionality, and user-inspired options. Case comes with more than enough hardware to install, the one issue I had was with the vertical mount GPU, I purchased the 200mm (longest available) PCIe riser cable, I still had to grind away from the bottom of the vertical mount and in the end I felt the cable was simply under too much stress.

Also, with my huge cooler, I figured out the hard way that nearly any modern graphics card is simply too large to mount vertically and have enough clearance (the top of the card hits the heat sink. So.

I guess I’ll just hang onto the riser cable and try this out when I switch to water cooling down the road. Another neat option is you can mount your power supply up or down as the rear of the case has screw cut outs for either direction giving yet another option.

The glass is very heavy duty, I highly recommend removing it until you’re totally done working inside the case. The toughest part of any build is routing cables, but with all the space in every direction of this case, all you need is some patience, a head lamp, and some extra zip ties.

Most of the cabling can be hidden behind the mainboard plate (that side is against my wall anyhow so there’s not a big issue). The options to mount standard 3. 5″ HDD’s vertically on the “back” of the hard drive rack assembly was a bit odd, I had trouble routing the SATA cables properly and was concerned about air flow back there, so I opted for my two 3.

5 disks mounted in one of the actual racks that get cooled directly behind the front intake fans. I’m certain with smaller SSD drives this would be less of an issue, but those are still a bit pricey in the capacities I needed.

Overall, like every other Thermaltake product, I give this case a A++.

I would like to say that I have been building computers for over 10 years now and I still consider myself a beginner but I have learned many things over the years. I want everyone to know this is my take on this case even with the pros and cons I still love this case for my needs.

This case is a full tower at a great price. I would recommend this case to anyone wanting to expand or to have the room to expand their computer components and need the room. I would recommend this Thermaltake View 71 case to anyone that fits their needs.

I love this case for all of the options as listed in the pros. Please note that all of the cons listed are not cons for me but could be improved on the case. The case is heavy but I am not concerned due to the fact the case is sitting on my desk and I do not have to move it.

I do not use the RGB fans because I have enough RGB for my components inside of the case. I want to let everyone know that I have taken all of the storage racks as well as the vertical GPU holder out because I needed the room for all of my components.

Got the case really fast. I opened it up and first thing I did was check for cracks on any of the panels haha. No cracks; everything was perfect. except for the rubber grommets inside. One was badly damaged, all the others were fine.

So, I’ll probably buy some grommets then to replace or diy foam. Other than that, highly recommend the case. Showcases all your parts and cable management (so do your absolute best on that part). Even if it’s a bit heavy, it’s fine.

Definitely remove the panels first and gpu if you’re gonna move this thing around. Great idea to put it on those IKEA cabinets but with wheels? (Or no wheels). I’ll still stick to Phanteks* and/or Corsair the next time I buy a case, though.

I would definitely recommend this case to those who like having huge cases for their workstations or over-built gaming rigs. My rig is more for workstation purposes but is also for occasional gaming.

If you want to build a double/dual system in a single case, go for its bigger brother, the CORE W200 where you have a larger second compartment. My only other suggestion for this and their other cases is that they DO NOT come pre-assembled which means you will be doing that.

As mentioned in the CONS section, make sure you go through all the included items in the box when you get ready to put it together. Mine was lacking a couple items and I had to reach out to ThermalTakeUSA to get the replacements.

ugh! So, I now have another case to make another system in eventually (Yay Newegg!). Bottom-Line: If you’re into BIG PC cases, get it. If not, there are plenty little ones here that might work for you.

This case was bigger than I thought, despite measuring before hand. It is built out of steel, making it strong and durable but also very heavy. Highly recommend installing the wheels on the bottom of the case.

I do not have a custom loop water cooling system, however there is plenty of room inside this case to house one. My system ended up with a total of 14 case fans and a 3 fan radiator for system 2 cpu aio.

Prior to having all fans mounted, my one system has just problems but once I got all the fans installed, the problem went away. Cable management was interesting. The case of so big, it felt that it didn’t even need management in terms of air flow.

I was able to manage the wiring to my satisfaction.

Fixed by adding a small neodymium magnet to door) -Vertical GPU mount + pcie extender most likely required for large GPU on right side if you have radiators mounted to side wall) -a few plastic parts that may or may not break after years of use(not too big a deal as could easily fix) -AIO pump for CPU barely reached top of case since the motherboard is flipped upside down on right side(double stacked fans lowered radiator to a good enough position).

Good solid tower. My second one. Well satisfied. Two comments: I spent less on the tower sections by a lot than I did for the necessary tower attachments and brackets. Also, The tower did not come with the necessary bolts.

Somehow they were missing.

Bought 3 tower segments. Price was good, delivered quickly, and in good condition. All was as expected.

Castle panic is a pretty decent castle defense game. Each player has a hand of cards that represent the defensive forces they have at their disposal. Each type of defender attacks enemies at different ranges, and in a particular arc of the battlefield.

The main downside is that it may be a bit too simplistic for some gamers, but if you’re looking for something to do with kids or friends that don’t play lots of board games this is a great choice.

Great for two players. I bought this a week ago and my husband and I have played it almost twice a day everyday since. We are big fans of Pandemic so this was a cool co-op game to add to our rotation.

I will say that after playing this many many times, aside from the occasional close call by applying difficulty modifiers I ended up buying the Wizard’s Tower expansion (keep your eye out for a sale) to up the challenge.

This game is a lot of fun.

Decided a little while back to upgrade my sound system and for Christmas I decided to go for it and buy these Def. Tech. speakers. I’m so glad I did. I was like a kid again when they showed up, unpacking and hooking it all up.

The love of music just went a notch higher. I did the ‘review’ thing online and went for the BP9020’s. For years I had the 3 piece system from a well known brand. Nothing wrong with those, They were getting a little old and so was I , this guy needed a change.

The sound is amazing on these new speakers. I was going to upgrade to the BP9040’s with the two woofer system, but these put out more than enough bass. The high and midrange sounds are excellent, I’m really back in love with my music again.

B&H has very nice competitive prices on gear and they let me know on price drops and specials. I’ve been with B&H for many years and when I’m in NYC, it’s a highlight to stop by their store in lower Manhattan.

It is a very large and pretty case. Definetely designed with customing looping in mind. if you are not setting up a custom loop or fitting multiple AIOs the bulky size may be a con for you Modular design and removable glass sides make it very easy to mod inside the case.

Grommets well positioned for great cable management although this is a challenge with the stock fans. The included vertical mounting bracket for the GPU is nothing but a pain. It comes pre-fitted and on my case, the screws holding it in place were jammed, After using a hammer, rubber band and all of the WD40 they remain jammed and completely worn.

I’ve been forced to mount my GPU vertically as a result. I know this was an unlucky instance but something to consider if you’re eyeing this case for a potential build. Overall, a good case for it’s intended purpose but it’s been available for a while now and quality may degrade in storage.

really cool case for doing something pretty with leds and flashing memory modules. hinges and nuts for the glass bits all well designed and functional. ridiculously heavy to move around unless you take all the glass panels off(although, the front and top panels are cleverly designed to ‘pull off’ so removing all panels involves 4 nuts and 2 pulls).

looks and feels expensive.

If you don’t know, I love Lego. It is made so well but it is so much better when there is a theme to it. So far I have two Harry Potter lego sets, including this one. I love clocks and castles as well, so getting the clock tower was a no brainer.

The detail is amazing, it just makes you feel like you are in another world when just putting it together. I will get some photos of the details as it’s amazing the creativity that goes into the creation of these Lego themed items.

If anyone wants to see further details let me know and I can either add more photos or even do a video on them. If you are a fan of Harry Potter and like to get lost in the Lego world this one is a must.

The set is great, has plenty of little details and lots of minifigures. I’m starting a LEGO Harry Potter collection and this is a great addition to it! It blends seamlessly with the other sets like the Astronomy Tower and Great Hall.

But the best part about this set by far was the price!! Walmart put the item on Rollback for only $72, and if you know anything about LEGO, you know its hard to get the sets on sale. Not only was the price great, but Walmart shipped it earlier than expected and I received the item within 2 days instead of the 5-6 it originally stated.

Really happy with my purchase.

I never was a fan of the Yule Ball (not a fan of social occasions). However, this set is a nice one. The detail of the tables and dancing floor are really nice, and the fact that you can add them or not to the whole is great.

This brings me to the modularity of the whole Hogwarts set, and it’s bloody brilliant. I’m dreaming of a huuuuuge very detailed Hogwarts and that’s exactly what is happening. The only concern is that it seems to expand in length but not in width, meaning it unfolds like a 2D Hogwarts with 3D details, if that makes any sense.

At some point I’ll probably change that myself 😛 The Clock Tower actually dwarves the Great Hall tower, but it’s not a major concern. Waiting to build the Astronomy Tower which should dwarf both of them lol.

Great new rooms! Hospital Wing (the lamps are a great find), Prefects Bathroom (unfortunately not useable because just a wee bit not deep enough, but the taps and the mermaid are brilliant; I’ll build myself a larger tap using light-sabers as other colour water), and Moody’s Classroom! Dumbledore’s office is circular, and has two levels, which is really great, and the stickers are nice too, though a buildeable Fawkes could have done the trick too.

I love how the whole Hogwarts seems to become more Creator-styled, like the build of the Christmas tree and the Yule Ball Great Hall Tables. Wish it’d go on like that, it’s way more interesting! The minifigs are great, though the choice of Krum’s head (notably facial expresssion) is a bit weird.

All in all, good job, Lego, and I’m just hoping this doesn’t stop!.

Im folgenden nenne ich die Vor- und Nachteile stichpunktartig + Mainboards bis E-ATX + 4 vormontierte Lüfter mit Lüftersplitterkabel im Lieferumfang + Viele Kabeldurchführungen + Guter Platz für Kabelmanagement mit vormontierten Klettverschluss für Kabel + Platz für 2 x 2,5 SSD und 2 x 3,5 HDD oder 2 weitere 2,5 + Staubfilter in der Front, Oben und beim Netzteil – Durch HDD Käfig wird der Platz für eine langes Netzteil beschränkt der Käfig kann aber entfernt werden – Die Lüfter haben nur einen 3-Pin Anschluss – Wenig Platz zum Luftansaugen in der Front Fazit Das Gehäuse sieht echt gut aus und ist sehr gut verarbeitet.

Wenn die Lüfter einen 4-Pin Anschluss hätten und etwas mehr Luft ansaugen könnten wäre das optimal. Des Problem mit dem Netzteilplatz aufgrund der HDD Käfigs ist bei sehr vielen Kompakten Midi-Towern bekannt und für mich persönlich kein großes Problem.

Im großen und ganzen kann man mit dem Gebotenen sehr zufrieden sein. Ich würde das Gehäuse weiterempfehlen.

Um die Seitenscheibe entfernen zu können muss das Top-Cover, befestigt mit zwei Schrauben, entfernt werden. Dann kann die Seitenscheibe rausgehoben werden. Das finde ich vom Prinzip her ok, aber es ginge auch einfacher ohne dass man davor erst ein anderes Teil erst entfernen muss.

Platzmäßig ist in dem Gehäuse eigentlich alles möglich, weshalb die Abmessungen auch nicht die kompaktesten sind. Aber dafür muss man sich keine Sorgen machen, dass bei einem zukünftigem Upgrade irgendwas nicht passen wird.

Das Frontpanel finde ich absolut angemessen Power-Knopf, Reset-Knopf, Betriebs-LED, USB-C, 2x USB-A, Klinke für Mic und Ton und einen LED-Switch. Das lässt eigentlich keine Wünsche offen. Das was man aber bei diesem Gehäuse bedenken muss, ist dass der Airflow nicht der beste sein wird.

Es sind zwar vorne 3 Lüfter vorinstalliert und hinten einer, aber die komplett geschlossene Front mit lediglich seitlichen Lufteinlässen beschränkt den Airflow doch recht stark. Deswegen darf man hier kein Kühlungs-Wunder erwarten.

Trotzdessen, ein schönes Gehäuse ohne viel Bling-Bling mit viel Platz und einer angemessenen Qualität.

Our 6 year old son got this for Christmas and is very happy. What a cool set to play with. I helped with the build which I found super fun. It also inspired our son to build an AT-AT out of extra lego pieces he had lying around.

Overall, a very fun playset.

My 12 yr old son selected the set. I was very happy with the price at 20 percent off. The item was shipped and arrived in great condition.

This is a great case. It is considered full tower so keep in mind the size is bigger than a mid tower. I tried the other brand that’s cheaper +smaller with the same mirror display and it’s really bad.

Anyway, this case is a cool head Turner. It may distract you yourself just looking at it and getting lost in the abyss. The interior is well built. Plenty of space. The glass is tempered but heavy. Often I find it alittle nerve rattling to open it standing up.

It has meshes and ventilation holes. You can see holes in the front side apertures, the top for a possible 3 fan configuration, the back, and the bottom. It comes with its little packing kit, screws, manual and they took some heart into this to the designer all the way through to get into my hands.

It even includes brackets for holding up the graphics card. It is all very thought through. The only downside for me is that the LEDs in the front may not be addressable. The brightness is not controllable.

It would have been perfect with that feature. It does however have a multitude of led settings that bests the other full tower of this type. For what I’m looking for im very happy with this RGB style case.

It’s closest the perfect one I’ve been searching for in this style.

I have recently used the Game Max Predator to build 2 gaming PCs and in my opinion it is an excellent case. There is plenty of room inside so that the PC components are not too compact which allows for good airflow.

The tempered glass front and sides come off easily allowing access to the case. There is enough room at the top of the case to fit either a 240mm radiator for CPU cooling or 2 x 120mm exhaust fans. The 4 supplied RGB fans are already hard wired into a hub which means that there is no need to connect them to the Motherboard and the RGB can be switched off or changed easily using a small remote control that is supplied with the case.

Although this is classed as a full tower, it is not too big in comparison to other full towers. When the PC is and switched on if you have any kind of RGB components inside it looks amazing through the glass case.

If I build anymore gaming PCs I will definately consider this case again.

The item is well thought only what I do not understand is why there is insert for usb c on front but not actual usb c connector. The whole build is well made for it’s price. If I will build another pc Then I will go for this case straight and do not waste money on cheaper case that is poorly design.

There are still better cases but for me this one do the job.

One of my favorite Switch games and a great continuation of the P5 story. The opening scene had so much lovely nostalgia in it, which is funny because I’m still playing Royal after finishing vanilla Persona 5, so there really wasn’t a reason for me to feel like I miss the Phantom Thieves, but that’s a testament to how good the atory snd characters are.

They make you feel like you really are reuniting with friends after a long absence. Zenkichi is an awesome addition to the team and such a great character with a fun, unique Persona and skill set that makes passing the baton and controlling him it’s own interesting challenge and I’ve enjoyed playing as Zenkichi as much as I do playing as Joker.

The cooking and Bond level mechanics feel like a natural extension of the main game and I really like getting to explore areas, find recipes and have soecial little side mission requests for the other Phantom Thieves.

I really can’t say enough good things about this game. It helps that Persona 5/R is one of my all time favorite video games and really reinvigorated my gaming life, where I’d taken a long break from JRPGs infavor of hack and slash, Western RPG and FPS games for quite a long time.

Persona reminded me of what I love about the genre and made me revisit old favorites like FFX and Dragon Quest. I highly reccomend this game to anyone though, not just Persona, JRPG or Musou style game fans.

The characters, art direction, soundtrack and combat are all top tier and the friendship between the Phantom Thieves and the character growth they undergo in the story is well worth your time.

Persona 5 Strikers is excellent. This is in every respect a worthy sequel to 2017’s worldwide hit, Persona 5. While being developed by Koei Tecmo and diverging from the mainline turn-based combat in favor of the musuo-dynasty warriors style action combat, it manages to feel entirely familiar and new all at once.

(5 hours in) and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time with it — being back with the beloved Phantom Thieves on a brand new adventure feels, well. like coming home. The soundtrack carries some new tunes that are just as excellent as P5’s brilliant score, and some returning tracks are a nice touch.

The voice actors return to reprise their respective roles for each character and this is very, very good. Some of the best voice acting in the video game industry here, and it shows. My only issue is that, on the Switch anyways, sometimes the voice acted lines drop in volume and the music drowns them out — it’s an odd occurrence and is certainly distracting, but it’s not too frequent to be a huge problem.

I’m hoping that will be fixed in a future patch. Otherwise, everything here feels authentically Persona in the best way. In fact, if someone told me P Studio made this, I might have believed them. The recreations of LeBlanc cafe and the Phantom Thieves hideout in the main protagonists upstairs room, the bustling city on Main Street, etc – it all looks exactly as it did in P5.

The story so far is interesting and does exactly what it needs to in order to create a reason for the Phantoms to jump back into the action. The inclusion of the new character Sophia is welcome – she’s funny and endearing and I’ve enjoyed her addition to the crew.

As mentioned at the beginning, though, this story is a direct sequel to P5 vanilla – so no return of Kasumi or Dr. Maruki from Royal as that is not considered canon. In terms of gameplay, while you still carry on walking around town and the like talking with your crew and NPC’s and buying items from shops, there is no social sim bonding.

The more I’ve played, the more I miss this aspect of gameplay as it’s always been my biggest draw to the Persona games and is what sets them apart in many respects from most other JRPG’s. Despite this, the heavy emphasis on narrative and character dialogue is still present here much like it was in P5.

The combat reminds me of both Final Fantasy VII Remake and FFXV in that you are fighting in real time, but pausing/slowing down time to select from a side menu special attacks — in Strikers you do this by hitting R trigger to summon your persona and select from their attacks, as well as can pause the action to select restorative items.

You can a switch to your other team mates by hitting the directional pad which works as this games version of baton pass. There’s many more intricacies and much more depth here, but suffice it to say that it feels both familiar and refreshingly new at the same time to both be playing an action RPG version of Persona while retaining some turn-based menu aspects of the mainline series.

Dungeon crawling feels mostly reminiscent of P5’s palaces. Gimmicks and minor puzzles abound here that block your progress. Plenty of enemies to hide and ambush or go all out on. Some shifting perspectives (where it will transition from 3rd person behind the back to an almost 2D side scrolling perspective.

There’s tons of stuff going on, the combat is mostly fluid and strategic (albeit it at times a bit chaotic), and it all feels very good. I’m very interested in the story Strikers has presented me with.

Coming back to the Phantom Thieves feels great. And the changes in combat for this title are welcome after plying through P5 and P5: Royal, I’m okay taking a break from strict turn-based combat. So glad this game was finally localized for the west!!!!.

First some helpful background: I’ve collected and beaten ALL of the games from the publisher (ATLUS) of the Shin Megami Tensei (SMT) series and Persona series who published this game I’m reviewing. There’s a LOT of games that were made for past consoles for this series so let’s just summarize I’ve heavily invested myself.

Many if not all of these games usually have a 100 hour minimum playthrough. But don’t let that scare you; it’s a great thing because that means there’s a lot of story value. The most recent game in this series (Persona 5 Royal) I finished before Strikers came out and on last check I put 368 hours into it.

Just goes to show how much the game offers. Many of the Persona series are very replayable, and reward you when you start a new game after beating it (A. K. A. : New Game+) often letting you keep most to all of the things you unlocked in your first playthrough so you can enjoy the story more on your second round.

This is true as well for this game. Okay so onto Strikers: If this is your first Persona game, you’re in for a great time. This game is a sequel to Persona 5 on PS3/PS4 (not the Royal Edition though because it doesn’t have those characters or story details.

) You don’t need to have played Persona 5 to enjoy Strikers, but it will definitely make the experience better if you do or are aware of P5’s story. If you are a veteran of the Persona games, the only thing to keep in mind is that it uses the same “hack and slash” game mechanics as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and this is because the same developer created this originally for Persona 5 Strikers and then did it again for Age of Calamity.

So to a veteran, it will seem a little off in terms of the style that Persona and Shin Megami Tensei is known for. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing! To me, it was fresh and still made sense in the story.

And best part is you can fight with other characters, which you couldn’t previously do. Story is a staple of ATLUS games and this time it’s as entertaining with some hilarious scenes and absolutely is worth it if you’ve played any of the Persona games.

Not to mention they kept the same voice actors as the original in both English and Japanese. I normally play JRPGs with the Japanese cast because, duh. However this is one of the very few JRPGs that I will listen to the English cast because it’s so good and sounds very close to their Japanese counterparts.

P5 Strikers is not a short game (it’s a full length sequel), but that’s one of the things that I have always loved about ATLUS games. For example, I have thought Persona 3-5 have had very memorable stories and like I mentioned at the top, have usually 100 hrs minimum to get through the story and other sections, and that means great value for the money you spend.

I also really evaluate the replayability that games come with and I have always returned to the Persona games because of how good an impact they leave. Not to forget they reward you for finishing the game with New Game+.

I have been finding that the Switch’s $60 game tax doesn’t hurt as much when games have a lot of long play value and of course replayability. That being said, there’s so much good I can say about this game and series so I’ll say if you love RPGs and especially JRPGs, this is well worth checking out.

This game isn’t going to appeal to everyone but if you’re reading this amongst other research you’ve done, I’m sure this will appeal to you and then some. I hope sharing my experience will be helpful to you.

Differences between PS4 and Switch Versions: So this section I made sure to mention because a lot of reviews online criticize the Switch version’s presentation quality. This is true, while PS4 and especially PS4 Pro will output this game far higher than the Switch can, I bought my copy for Switch and played the demo on my PS4 Pro to see the graphics difference myself.

Playing P5S docked on my Switch looks just fine, nothing looks broken and no real loss of detail. It does play in low resolution undocked but that hasn’t been a deal breaker for me. This was the first modern Persona game to release on another console because it was originally exclusive to Playstation consoles before, so I didn’t care, I was ecstatic to have Persona on the go and don’t mind the little things that come with it.

Honestly though, it’s your call on what you prefer: Do you like the best graphics or do you want to play portably? One other thing I do need to mention is while the entire game is playable from the Switch cartridge with no extra downloads to your Switch SSD, it does have slower load times compared to PS4.

But that is because of the limitations of the Switch. I don’t consider that a dealbreaker for me because I wanted this game to play at home and on the go. I mention all of these things to keep in mind if these are considerations you have when buying a game.

Also IMO buying the Switch version will let ATLUS and SEGA know they should be making their Persona/SMT games for Switch along with other consoles and PC.

My daughter has seen this from a friend and she loved it. We therefore decided to get one too. It is a good product for children and grown ups to play together during garden parties in summer months.

It keeps everyone occupied and focused instead checking their phones :-).

This is a really colorful version of jenga. The addition of the dice gives it an edge when adts are playing and the children love the colours. Robust and well made. The children at a family BBQ enjoyed using the blocks to build too.

Would really recommend.

I bought for our garden and it’s a bit smaller than I anticipated but it worked well to play on our low table. It’s well made and the additional rule to be directed by a dice throw to the coloured bricks is a fun additional to jenga rules.

I bought two of these cases for my daughters computers, as i was looking for a case that accepted ATX with LEDs that looked stylish and had a small footprint. because for one of the builds i’m using an old Q6600 with an ATX motherboard.

On the whole building into these cases was easy enough. Though i found the micro ATX build alot easier and quicker as the case is very cramped with the ATX board. I would say there are a couple of design flaws though, the first is the fact that the three fan positions at the front are pretty much useless as there is stuff in the way from the LED front, so no real space to pull air in, you could use a fan in the bottom space but that wouldn’t cool the top half of the case and the two fan spaces on the top are pretty restricted to.

But the biggest flaw is in the way the 3. 5 hard drives are mounted. as the mounts sit flush with the case i needed to use sata power connector extenders because the middle ones on both of my psu’s wouldn’t fit and i was also using the 2.

5 hard drive spaces. I also needed to buy a sata cable that had a smaller connector as it wouldn’t fit in the bottom position as the lip was in the way. Although i found a work around for these issues i would have prefered the 3.

5 drive mountings to not sit flush with the case, maybe 1cm or so raised into the case. I wouldn’t use this case with high powered componants as they would likely over heat. But if you have low powered stuff they are perfect and both my girls are happy with the new cases.

Pros: – Lightweight – Front panel aesthetics is amazing – Side glass panel easy to get off – Sleek, minimalist design Cons: – Cable Management area is quite skinny, tight. You’ll be taking some time with the side panel just trying to fit and organise the cables.

– Full ATX mobo, cables will be a tight squeeze through the openings and you may need to bend the wires more than you need to – If you have a long GPU and mount a 240mm rad at the front, it will be a tight squeeze.

I have a 280mm length GPU. I had to take out the bottom rad fan, install the GPU then install the fan back on. The 310 mm GPU length is for people who won’t be installing a radiator – SSD/HDD placement somewhat in an awkwark place Neither pro or con: – Full ATX mobo is a tight squeeze – Everything is made out of light,matte cheap plastic (except the side glass panel, you get what you paid for) Conclusion: If you want a case with good cable management, I suggest look for another case if installing an ATX mobo.

Other wise for the looks and price, this is a really really reall amazing case.

After the case arrived I had to wait a bit to get my gpu, but when I went to build everything and as I finished plugging everything in; the fan that came pre-installed at the back simply wouldn’t start.

Can’t find any warranties in the box, and without working fans, I don’t want to use the PC in case of overheating. Yes, before you say “well it’s just the motherboard or cable ports”: no, it isn’t. I’ve tested it and the included fan simply won’t turn on.

This is more of an issue with the pre-installed fan than the actual case. As for the case iteslf; it looks good, is pretty light, and has plenty of air access with dust filters.
