20 Best Toy For Adults (2022 Updated)

My kindergarteners played with it for one day and a small black piece came off. Now it doesnt work because it falls apart. Its a really cool gadget, just wish the tiny black pieces wouldnt fall off easy.

So I need to keep my hands busy and I get anxious so I thought this would be the perfect thing to get. I love it. Its definitely one of my favorite purchases, it arrived on time and everything too.

This cube was smaller than I expected but it does what it’s supposed to. I turned mine into a keychain. One side of it was just a dip so I put a looped screw into it and put it on my keychain. Great for times when your sitting and waiting with nothing to do if your the type of person that can’t sit still.

I sent this to my grandson for his first birthday We have seen him play with it alot and his mom especially likes it for diaper changing time. He is very active and wiggly (!) and she says this has helped make the changing easier! At first, he could not do the larger ones, but he persisted and then was working on all of them.

The colors are wonderful and I am so glad that I got this for him. My other grandsons had a smaller version which you made and that is where I saw how much a one and three year old liked it! So, my other grandson “needed” one! Great fun.

This is a quality kit and provides an excellent sensory experience. I have ASD and my occupational therapist suggested more sensory input so I purchased this for myself. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to unwind or needing to fidget with something.

I think anyone would have fun with this sand! I have trouble keeping my kids out of it, although they have their own :). It is a wonderful kit, I highly recommend it!.

This is an amazing figure. I prefer the red /orange colors on this figure. It really go well with my Walgreens exclusive Fantastic Four. Not only that, this selection of the Human Torch works with recreating the early comic book costume.

This was an amazing buy. I would recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of the Fantastic Four.

The most versatile Human Torch. This one since it doesn’t shows the number four emblem on the chest, unlike previous iterations, doubles as the Fantastic Four Human torch Johnny Storm and the original Human Torch Jim Hammond the android which was the first Marvel superhero when Marvel Comics was Timely Comics in the late 1930’s.

Awesome fire effects and extra hands! A must!.

He looks like he’s made out of Red Hots! Lol. I love it! He’s got both a retro feel and a modern vibe. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the packaging is so HUGE. I know it’s meant to be like the old ones, but it doesn’t fit in the boxes/shelves I have my other Marvel Legends figures.

Still worth the buy though.

Coggy is an interesting problem-solving toy. Things we like: –It makes you think! –Has a good variety of challenging puzzles. –It is all in one piece. Not a bunch of little items to get lost. –The puzzle cards are joined together.

No loose cards to get lost. Things we don’t like: –It is plastic, with stickers for the designs. Doesn’t seem like it will hold up to rough use. –It took some time to figure out the mechanics of how to bend and move it.

Difficult for younger kids. –Made in China.

My Review of Coggy: Love this toy – its good for the brain and small motor development, it’s attractive and stimulating, it gives practice in persistence and forward-thinking, and it is played with independently.

BUT. at first we thought it was terrible or broken because even adults had a very hard time moving the pieces; we didn’t think every piece could be moved because we couldn’t move them. Only after one adult used considerable strength to force pieces to move, did we realize that the configurations in the booklet could be formed.

So, the six year-old recipient of the toy has a real hard time playing with Coggy. I hope it loosens up after a while, but an adult will have to spend some time working it to loosen it up. We love the toy, but it’s way to hard for little hands to move the cogs.

For that reason, it should be recommended for older kids. Too bad, because the toy would be very good for younger kids.

A memorial gift for my sister’s youngest grandson. My older sister died unexpectedly at the age of 57 earlier this year. We couldn’t hold a funeral or memorial due to the pandemic, so there was a lack of closure for the whole family.

I live out of state and wanted to find unique gifts for my sister’s grandchildren that would help them remember their grandma. They were her greatest joy–she had 4 total. The youngest, who is 3 years old, would be the most likely to forget what she was like as he got older, so I knew giving him pictures of her would help with that.

I came across the Reel Viewer, and knew it would be perfect for someone that young. In addition, I went to the viewer site and uploaded my favorite pictures of my sister. I was so excited to give this to him.

What is nice about it is that the whole family can pick up the view anytime and remember my sister as well.

The only thing I did not like about the game, I Got This, is the difficulty of the tasks. I think a broader range of the difficulty of the tasks would make it better for children, allowing them more success.

It is a great family game and I like that it is so interactive. My grandson, whom I bought it for, has a hard time with failure, so this game is very good for him teaching him how to be graceful in defeat and how to persevere in a non-winning situation.

The last time we played, he and I tied for last and we gave each other a high five for the tie.

My family is full of game players of all types, which is why I was excited about Incohearant. Collectively, my family is very open minded, well-read, hard to offend, diverse in age/likes/race/etc. We should have really enjoyed it! Seemingly a multi-generational game all participants were either disappointed or ‘meh’ about the game.

Incohearant the concept was cool…but maybe some more universally themed cards that reach beyond a gen z/young millennial audience would make this a great family game. Breaking the code was great, but not connecting to phrase took the steam out of it for my 40s crowd.

This is coming from a middle aged millennial that has a decent pulse on pop culture. Good game for a younger crowd that can’t be played more than a couple times with the same group. We got through the game over a long holiday weekend.

Barely worth 2 stars. I bought this family edition version for $20 on a whim to get some off screen family time for a few nights. Myself, fiance, and 2 boys aged 8 and 13 played for about a half hour.

We got a few minor laughs here and there but overall the “game” is boring and barely held our attention. 65 random pictures cards that don’t even show the entire original meme pictures just random faces from them and alot of captions cards that all start off with the saying “When you” followed by bland ,boring sayings or basic quotes mostly aimed at bathroom humor or school related subjects.

None of us can say we purely enjoyed the game really and it will more than likely get donated or sit on the shelf and collect dust. Probably won’t get played again. I Wouldn’t purchase this again if given the choice.

Incohearent is such a fun and funny game to play, our family played it the moment we got it and the kids can’t stop. When you are the judge it seems so easy since you know the word, but once you are on the other side and reading the gibberish out loud, it is just hilarious and some are hard to get, which makes it even funnier.

This is such a good family game that brings us together, we like that a game can really last as long as you want it to and it doesn’t leave anyone feeling upset after. It is great that this comes with TONS of cards, you get 500, because you most likely will remember them once you did it before.

Highly recommended.

I believe mine arrived defective. The white side feels jammed compared to the other five sides. The other sides turn effortlessly. If you’re used to the stiff default cube, it’ll take a few tries to get used to the low friction on this one, but it’ll shave off your solve time once you get the hang of it.

This cube has a way better feel and smoothness than my original Rubik’s cube. It never gets caught or stuck. I know nothing about speed cubing, but for an ordinary cuber this is a terrific product.

Much easier to manipulate than the original Rubik’s cube. It has barely been put down since it was opened on Christmas Day! Be aware that pieces can pop out if you get too carried away.

It finally dropped and I got one. Price was way reqsonable. Came in exquisite shape. The Thing is my number one go to for Sci Fi Body horror and Kurt is just amazing in any film he does. So this action figure is a personal grail of mine.

Beyond pleased.

Any collector who is a fan of The Thing will be pleased with this piece. Looks great, has many interchangeable options. Another quality piece by NECA.

This thing doesn’t want to show itself, it wants to hide inside an imitation. It’ll fight if it has to, but it’s vulnerable out in the open. If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies, nobody left to kill it.

And then it’s won.

I bought these for my 2 step grandsons. One is autistic the other also has some growining impairments. Doctors noted that sensory toys would be helpful with their needs. What I had done was bought these dividing them evenly.

They then went in Christmas treat bags arnd put in their stockings. One grandson played continously with the rubbery kittens and the other liked the square puzzles. The cost wasn’t pricy either. Good buy.

I am a therapist with kids and also have a son with ADHD who has trouble focusing at times. These fidgets are great for these kids to play with either during Zoom sessions or in therapy as a way to keep their hands busy.

Love that there are different options for kids to choose from with different textures. I don’t anticipate the gooey or squishy things to last long term, but that’s to be expected.

Look at that subtle transparent coat. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh, my God. It even has blood splatter! That’s right, I was lucky enough to get the chase version of this Pop! I was so happy that I forgot to return my videotapes ha! Thanks PIAB.

This is one of best looking horror pops that you could buy. Largely due to the detail of the raincoat and blood splatter on the window of the pop box. A must for horror fans

This is an easy build and the end result looks really good and from that perspective it easily ranks alongside all my other Lego models (nearly 50 at the last count). BUT this set has a number of issues, all of which have been referred to by other reviewers and all of which I agree with to a greater or lesser extent.

For me the biggest issues are; 1. The doughnut shop is far too small and cramped. 2. The small flat is just that “small”, no bathroom facilities and the fire escape entrance is ridiculous. 3. The prison cell is too small – but I love the tunnel.

4. The newspaper kiosk is too small, out of place, looks as though it was thrown in at the last minute to fill a hole. 5. The main staircase is totally unrealistic with no bannisters and sadly because all the treads are smooth, it is not possible to have a mini figure positioned on the stairs.

6. This is a “pet gripe” of mine, only four mini figures is not enough for a large building. What is needed is at least eight. However, this is Lego, so it can all be altered, which I have done with every other modular building I have and which is what I am now doing with this set.

Of course that means buying more bricks and mini figures (four more ordered and on their way) or digging into my spares (another four or five mini figures already identified), but the many more hours of fun I’m going to have doing this is what makes being a Lego fan so worthwhile.

So I would definitely recommend buying this set and if some elements of the finished build don’t appeal to you, that’s when the real fun begins. For anyone who has read this far, if you are interested, my initial plan is to; a.

completely discard the small kiosk and replace it with a very basic newsstand. The available space will be used to expand the ground and first floors of the police station. b. remove the doughnut shop from the main baseboard, shift the whole remaining building to the left, allowing space to expand the right hand side to fill the available space.

c. construct an enlarged shop on a half sized baseboard to butt up to the left hand side, allowing for the shop to be much larger, plus having a proper staircase up to the flat above, with the possibility of putting a further floor on top of the flat, with bathroom facilities of course.

And if all of that doesn’t look right I’ll take it all down and start again. If every aspect of every modular building was entirely to my liking, for me it would result in me losing a huge element of the enjoyment I get from Lego.

So well done to the Lego designers, I doubt you will ever get to a stage of coming up with a design that pleases everyone, but that’s all part of the fun!.

This is my first Modular set build, and I absolutely love Modular Police Station. I love how the designer has small secrets sprinkled throughout as you build as it helps unravel the mystery of the story behind the set itself.

First, you find the newspaper on the stand talking about a donut thief, then you build the 2nd story where the police station has donuts lying on the table next to the mug shot station, the apartment has a secret door that leads to the donut shop, then the 3rd story with an evidence locker chockful of items pointing to the crime, then a bird with a stolen donut on the window ledge! Who truly is the thief? Did the news stand owner commit the crime to sell papers? Is he the apartment owner above the donut shop with the secret door? Or is it the bird stealing the donuts? That’s what I absolutely love, the story seems to come alive all throughout the entire build and truly sucked me into the experience and I haven’t even begun discussing the building itself! The aesthetics are reminiscent of 1930s Americana with a hint of Art Deco architectural styling.

the side buildings are a bit small, but I’m glad they opened up the donut shop inside to allow more space for displaying all those incredible sweets. The only boring part was stacking brick upon brick to the sides and back walls just because there’s no styling to them.

I know it’s for good reason, as these sets are designed to be placed next to each and would cover the sides anyway, but that was my only complaint. I am very, very happy with this set and plan to look for more modular sets to add to my new collection.

Well done LEGO, well done.

I’ve been collecting the modulars since its introduction in 2007 and, as of late, there seems to be a direction the designers have taken that has radically redefined the series. Albeit, change can definitely be a good thing, but it seems they were more focused on making decisions just for the heck of it rather than applying it methodically.

From the removal of the classic minifigure heads to the use of wacky colors, the line has been gradually stripped away from its more sophisticated and classic approach. There used to be a focus on designing a main building and making that the standalone design.

The designers now lack a focal point and seem to just want to cram in everything they can. The police station loses its grandeur with the oddly placed side buildings. I found it bothersome that they cut into the floor plan at the ground level to fit in room for the donut shop.

I get it, donuts and coppers, but that joke is tired and old. The green building on the side is mainly the prison cell. Why couldn’t that be incorporated into the main building? Why not make the police station larger and have the jail cell in it? Remove the newspaper stand and include.

a police vehicle? The size of the donut shop is way larger than needs to be. Why is there a bedroom on the second floor? That was so odd. The color of the donut shop also draws away attention from the police station as a whole.

It’s the first thing you notice when you look at it from far. The use of tan bricks for the police station was a poor choice. We had that for the Grand Emporium and why not take the opportunity to introduce perhaps a new shade of grey? The details on the exterior are fine, but nothing architecturally striking.

The interior has some fine details, but overall is cramped compared to some of the older modulars and leaves a lot to be desired. The story-driven play feature is there, but is not as creative as the ones we saw in the Detective’s office and Brick Bank.

The minifigures are ok and fit the modular for what it is. The rest of the surrounding details are basic modular faire and if you’ve collected any of the previous modulars it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

I get my review won’t be very popular with some of the newer fans of the series who seem to be swept away by everything LEGO puts out these days, but for those of us who’ve been around to see them devolve it’s just another sad realization that the series we fell in love with is no longer the same.

Loved that your staff selected the colour we asked for AND gave us some matching lollies, and little note from the Packing Elf. And the product got to us on time in the last week before Christmas. WELL DONE ON ALL OF THAT.

Find it hard to believe this is actually a Duncan. It’s impossible to wind and if you do actually manage it the string is all kinked and twisted making it very hard to use. Avoid!

I was thrilled to find a yellow yo-yo like our friend had when he was younger! We’ve been practicing again after, well, let’s just say “many years.” haha

This was my first big Lego set and found it incredibly fun. The directions aren’t fully clear but it’s part of the experience. The mini figures are revealed at various stages in the build which led to a bit of excitement along the way.

The little references to specific episodes are amazing, some that took me a bit to realise but were pure joy when figured out, like why is Kramer holding a pretzel. I would highly recommend this for any Seinfeld fan even if they have zero interest in Lego.

Great product from lego. got it from myer for $30 cheaper than other places. if myer keep throwing discounts like that, i’ll always come back. as for the products, it was heaps of fun. so many cool references to the show.

I purchased the Friends Lego set a couple Christmases ago when I saw that they had released the Seinfeld set, I just had to complete her favorite 90’s sitcom collection. Quality is as you’d expect from Lego, with easy to follow instructions and just the right amount of detail.

I bought an LED light set on another website that pairs with this set to make it light up after dark.

This is a fantastic Lego set. One of the best value for money sets in a long time. It is HUGE when you put it together. Not too big, but very dense. The ship’s main grey base is formed with a clever mix of brackets set off at unusual angles, which is kept stable by careful layering of plates.

If it were me, I’d have added some more substructure, but as far as official sets go, this one is in my top 10 favourite Lego sets of all time. It is perfectly put together, and it doesn’t come with projectile weapons, which I appreciate (too many spaceships have guns for no good reason nowadays.

This one is a nostalgic look back to the time of space exploration, rather than space battle, in Lego themes) I was tempted to bump this down to a 4 star due to some stability problems but it’s really brilliant for such an affordable Lego set.

Compare this to the £350 castle that’s not as visually interesting, and you’ll see what I mean. The set has some stability issues (the side boosters and landing pads can come apart easily, as the stress point aren’t reinforced properly) and the panels near the front can come loose, but it’s nothing a simple mod can’t fix.

9/10 for me. So 5 stars. – Grumblebricks.

This is how my Galaxy Explorer’s Arrived on 2 separate days. One looks like it got ran over by a car and the other 2 look like they’ve been used in the egg drop experiment. ATTENTION WALMART AND THE 3RD PARTY DRIVERS –> STOP USING BAGS WHEN A PROTECTIVE BOX IS NEEDED! Would you want your gift to arrive like this??? I don’t know who’s responsible for this practice but it needs to stop NOW! In both cases (caught on Ring) the driver hops out of their car and chunks the bag 10 feet onto my porch.

As if another 4 steps and setting it next to the door was an Olympic sized hurdle. and just in case you’re wondering. we DO NOT have a moat filled with alligators surrounding our house. I can’t imagine Walmart is very happy with the returns and how much money, time and effort is wasted by not placing items in boxes and having competent drivers.
