20 Best Toy Guns Ever (2022 Updated)

This elite blaster is a game changer, the shell ejecting out is really cool and gives kids a happy feel of real game. My kids love this elite blaster and its really awesome as it shoots three darts at once and while pushing the prime to fire again the shell ejects out, its super cool and it actually up your nerf blasting action game.

This nerf blaster holds one shell at a time and each shell holds three darts in it. But we can preload the rest 4 shells with darts in and it has store in the stock for easy loading the next shell. This n strike blaster comes with 5 shells and totally 15 nerf blast which can used to load all five shells.

The pump action of shell ejecting out, need no battery and i really like that part. Its super fun for kids to watch the shell popping out. I don’t see any con’s in this blaster and i want to mention its designed basically for some long distance nerf action games.

Also definitely its only for big kids as its little huge for little kids to hold even. Easy to use, just load the shell with three darts, insert the shell in the blaster , pull back the handle to prime, press to fire the darts, all three darts gets fired at same time and when we pull back the prime again to load the next shell , the shell with no darts ejects itself and falls out.

On the whole its a Super fun, super cool n strike nerf blaster.

Is it massively effective as a nerf battle tool? Not really. Reloads are too slow. Is it massively satisfying to use? Yes – as a matter of fact it is. Occasional failure to eject shells. One does need to learn that not being able to push the slide forward means you need to pull back and fully tension the mechanism.

But satisfying to use – just don’t expect to keep up with someone with a full auto or semi auto nerf blaster.

The toy is fine- what is stupid is that this company has random people with no identification showing up with open toys and no outside packaging. I, mean at least put the gifts in a bag. Thanks for ruining a Christmas gift- third one this week that was marked AS A GIFT and showed up open.

Semi auto firing is awesome and batteries last longer than expected. Jams occasionally with bad darts, stock is a little flimsy but it holds a spare mag which is pretty cool. Barrel attachment you can put other barrels on the barrel! Attachable Grip is nice and ergonomic.

Flip up iron sight is great because to align you have to tilt the blaster making it more accurate and the sight/scope looks cool but isnt that useful. The 10 dart mag looks great in the blaster and is quite reliable.

The blaster is flywheel powered and uses 4 AA batteries, surprisingly these flywheels/motors are alot quieter than other blasters i have. Overall a solid purchase and i definitely recommend.

This review was written by my son who this was for, his age 25. This review is for the Nerf Modulus automatic baster. First off, as this blaster is an electric, it does not have the air pressure to create a significant Feet per Second rating that the pump action blasters create.

That being said, it does however fire much faster than its predecessors which can create an advantage over your opponent, or give the user a chance to survive against multiple opponents. The primary selling feature of the modulus is that it is highly customizable, more so than any blaster that I have encountered thus far as it has several rails to accept attachments, as well as a removable stock, a trait that I have not encountered before with a Nerf blaster.

The standard attachments that the Modulus comes standard with are; a removable barrel attachment, fore grip, scope (be advised that the scope does not magnify but is more of a sight), a ten round magazine, and a removable stock that can carry an extra magazine (I didn’t much care for it as it is rather flimsy when pressed to the shoulder).

The removable barrel attachment also has a couple of additional rails for attachments. The accuracy of the blaster is quite nice as it has rifling throughout the barrel and the attachment. Overall I’m quite impressed with this blaster, although I will be replacing the stock as soon as possible.

I bought this twice. the first time I thought it messed up due to an error by me. No. there is something wrong with the reset. messes up the whole gun makes it trash. do not buy. kinda sad when I returned the first one the store resold it and the person who bought it had to return it too.

they returned it the day I returned my second one lol. I know this because my store didnt carry this gun at all.

It shoots crazy far – it looks hella cool BUT It jams often and will probably break soon! Still awesome though

This is a standard nerf Gun revolver 6-shot. But with dinosaur features. My son who is 4 yo absolutely loves this Gun! He is able to charge and fire the Gun with No assistance! The revolver action can be done without firing the weapon no can be turned manually without affecting the function of the weapon.

The spring that controls the function is small but robust in its own right and I don’t foresee it going out anytime soon! This is a great nerf weapon for Children! I would definitely recommend 10/10!!!!.

My children enjoyed using the NERF DinoSquad Raptor-Slash toy. The toy was packaged well and came with all of the necessary equipment to have a great play time. My children did not need any instructions and began playing as soon as it left the box.

It was easy for them to figure out the mechanics of the toy and how to operate with ease. The bright orange and blue color scheme can always be notice as a NERF product from afar. I would highly recommend this toy for any youngster.

Two things my son loves all in one- Nerf guns and dinosaurs. He has a blast playing with it and thoroughly enjoys annoying his big sisters to no end chasing them around the house with it. They have fun with it, too, though.

Its really easy to use, and its pretty much ready to go right out of the box. This would make a great gift for both boys and girls. If they love dinosaurs they’ll love this Nerf gun! I would absolutely recommend picking one up.

The Nerf Roblox MM2: Shark Seeker Blaster is awesome! My son is obsessed with anything Roblox, and absolutely loves this Nerf blaster gun! We just received it the other day and my son has been playing with it nonstop! It is really good quality and looks like it will last for years to come.

I bought this for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. The darts are pretty big but I had to purchase additional darts because the box only came with three. The Nerf gun also had a card with a code to redeem a nerf gun on roblox.

I got Nerf Roblox MM2 Shark Seeker Blaster a few days ago, and my son loves it!!! I love that it comes with a code for the game with great instructions, , which he loves to play. Er zitten lekker veel pijltjes bij. Er moeten ook batterijen in de Nerf die er niet bij zaten maar gelukkig zijn dit gewone AA batterijen dus die hadden we nog wel (en tot nu toe zijn ze nog niet leeg dus het verbruik valt erg mee).

Het automatische gedeelte van deze Nerf werkt met een magazijn waar 10 pijltjes in kunnen, deze schieten heel makkelijk en hij is ook weer zo gevuld. Hij is nog geen enkele keer vastgelopen, wat bij eerdere motorische Nerfs wel eens gebeurde.

Deze pijltjes komen erg ver. Het andere gedeelte vul je aan de voorkant van de Nerf, dit zijn er 6, deze moet je handmatig pompen om ze te kunnen schieten, helaas gaan deze pijltjes minder ver, dat is wel jammer.

Maar door het stoere uiterlijk en de vele pijltjes blijft het wel een van de favoriete blasters van mijn zoon!.

Hier is mijn zoon ook erg enthousiast over. Je kan er goed mee richten en je kan zelfs met de blaster 6 pijltjes tegelijk afschieten nadat je eerst druk op hebt gebouwd. De reden dat ik zelf niet volledig weg ben ervan is dat de pijltjes best snel indeuken bij gebruik, je niet kan schieten als de batterijen leeg zijn (op de blaster na) en het motortje best wel wat geluid produceert.

Ook de rode knoppen om de blaster te gebruiken zitten best wel een stukje uit elkaar waardoor het niet heel makkelijk is om dit goed gelijk te gebruiken. Maar het belangrijkste is dat mijn zoon hem fantastisch vind en die gaat hem dan ook het vaakst gebruiken.

Amazing looking blaster! Really has that sniper vibe to it. Easy to load the 8 dart capacity drum and simple to rotate. Feels very comfortable with enough room around the grip. The scope looks very neat but the plastic lens used isn’t the best in clear quality.

The side prime bars can be attached and detached by screwing and unscrewing which I love. They are a tad smaller than expected, only takes up a couple fingers to pull back but it is a smooth short easy prime.

With mine I’ve noticed I have to make sure I pull all the way back, it’s human error if I think I pulled the prime all the way and it doesn’t catch it will rotate the barrel and skipping a dart. Not to say that happens to all of the blasters just to make a side note just incase.

Slam fire works very well and I love the use of dart storage, holds the dart in very well and won’t slide out during play. The barrel attachment is very cool and you can easily add other attachments on this blaster for more customization.

Overall I’m satisfied with this awesome blaster and definitely recommend for any nerf fan!.

This Nerf gun is awesome! It looks about as cool as it feels in your hands. The charging handle is different than most Nerf guns I’ve seen, and it is very easy to manipulate. It’s cool that you can take either side of the charging handle off to have a more sleek gun.

The barrel extension is neat to be able to have on or off, depending on what you’re doing. Same with the scope vs the open sights. All the customizations are really cool! The only complaint I have is the distance between the back of the grip and the trigger.

It’s too short for an adult or older kid finger to reach comfortable. I haven’t had this with any other Nerf gun before. It’s not a big deal for younger kids, but as the hands start getting a bit larger, the trigger being so close is a little awkward.

Otherwise, awesome toy!.

as with all elite 2. 0 blasters it is difficult to open and repair, but thankfully there is no glue and only one hidden screw. the blaster’s internals are essentially identical to that of the disrupter, and as such is just as reliable and powerful.

the barrel only touches the dart for a tiny portion of its length for better performance and mates to the blaster really well, this combined with its all orange color allowing it to fit in on other blasters makes it my new favorite barrel.

the scope is one of the more useful nerf scopes and has a smaller form factor, making it easier to attach to other guns. the performance is solid, ergonomics are great for kids of all ages, and very fun to use.

although I still wouldn’t advise it for professional play or modification.

Excellent range and trust me when I say it’ll hurt if you get hit with this thing. This teeter todders the line of being too powerful for the young kids but for young teens and maybe a few years younger it will be fantastic.

Excellent construction and durability seems to be really good so far. If you like this gun then there’s a brand new one on the market from a different brand however it’s at the exact same price point and I have to say it’s probably a little more power for your buck however younger kids probably won’t find it hard to use so I would recommend this other gun to only 13 and up on top of the fact it really fires the rounds of the barrel up to 125 ft which is 25 ft More than this gun.

First off, this NERF blaster is huge, which is awesome. The size alone makes it more realistic than smaller blasters such as the NERF Disruptor. Holding it feels like you got your money’s worth. Second, the aesthetic is detailed and quite modern-looking.

The gold accents also give it a “bling” that instantly puts it above any other NERF blasters in the room. Function-wise, it is considerably accurate, and fires several feet farther than other blasters, (such as the Disruptor) however it does take an extra second or so to fire each dart because it is bolt-action.

This makes it realistic and engaging though, so I see it as a plus. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a big NERF blaster.

This item looks fun and very visually appealing to kids and adults alike. When we received it, we opened it and had trouble, even with the directions, in loading it. We definitely encountered more trouble with trying to shoot it.

This is not a toy for anyone who it not strong. Our kids were not able to shoot the gun without lots of help from Dad. I would not recommend unless you’re willing to help your kids every time, or you have teenage kids who are strong enough to cock the barrel.

Not the nerf gun I grew up with! Got this for my nephew but of course I had to have some fun with it too! Lots of cool features and the safety features are great as well! Definitely recommend getting extra rounds because losing some of them is inevitable.

It says 14+ on the package but my 4 year old enjoyed trying target practice with adult help of course. Also good tool for teaching gun safety. Really great for all ages and my nephew thought it was so cool!.

I cannot tell you how much fin we’ve had with the blaster. I set up targets at different distances for the kids (and myself) to aim at. The range of the blast is very far. The small balls launch! My kids were entertained for hours playing with this.

WARNING: I purchased this as a gift for my Halo obsessed husband for Christmas. I was told my item had shipped but tracking information was not available. A couple days later I got an email saying my item was delivered.

He got home from work before I did and the box was sitting on our steps- in its original packaging!! Took the surprise right out of that gift. He is super stoked for it though and can’t wait to play with it.

Absolutely no reflection on the product itself, just super bummed Walmart didn’t ship this item in regular cardboard so gifts would be a surprise for the holiday season.

Performance is a bit below the specification of 70fps, but it is accurate with the flywheel system which starts up fast so I cannot really complain since it does load from the back. The blaster is what you see in the picture, with good dimensions and it looks like lore.

The quality is great, typical nerf, though I did have some paint wore off which could be solved by making the plastic that color in the mould production. Anyways 5/5 if you can afford, and given it’s should have plenty of room for modifications.

there’s a new tough guy! This blaster is so much fun – I totally feel like I’m ready to take on the Predator and other super villains from the tough guy movies from the ’90s. This blaster really makes me feel like I’m holding a BFG with the top handle.

The auto fire discharges easily and rapidly and has a range of at least 20 feet. The gun is a bit heavy and comes with a strap (wish it was a better looking strap). Super fun to look at and fire until complete discharge.

What could make this product better is if the battery compartment is more easily accessible without a proper Phillips screwdriver as the narrow shaft is required. Additionally, I wish there is an ammo belt which could feed in so I get the full effect as the rapid discharge will empty out the clip quickly.

Giftgivers, don’t forget to pick up at least 6 D batteries along with this or there may be some sad faces during this holiday.

I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review. This is an amazing gun. I bought this gun for my 6 year old son, who is a big Nerf gun fan, but i am not ashamed in saying that i play with this gun more than my son.

Its a great addition to my son’s ever growing Nerf’s arsenal. Using this this gun, he (and me too. :-)) believes he is a G. I. Joe fighting the bad guys. On the product side, this gun is not too heavy and easy to carry.

The flywheel is easy to load all the darts. Holding this gun is not difficult with strap and a very firm handle on top to balance. Red and yellow color give this gun a great look and feel. It needs 6 D batteries, which make this Gun little expensive to use, but this huge gun needs power to give you a feel of real machine.

Though the darts are soft but i would not recommend kids shooting this gun from small distance to others as it fires pretty fast. The price for this product on Walmart. com is cheaper than Amazon. Overall a great gun for older kids and grown ups both.

For all the man-children out there: this machine,. I mean, toy gun, is the ultimate in office warfare. The rapid fire and distance make it easy to pelt your enemies from afar, as well as darken the skies in a hail of Nerf darts.

No Silicon Valley professional can prepare for inner-office Nerf warfare without this. The technology itself behind this is amazing. While it does unload a rapid-fire barrage, you might find yourself out of ammo relatively quickly.

However, since your adversaries will have already started running and hiding, you’ll have plenty of time to reload! On a more serious note, I grew up on Nerf, and this blaster is amazing. Nerf has come a long way in innovating on fun, and I’d recommend this blaster for any child (or man-child) big enough to wield it.

Got this for the birthday boy. This is exactly what he wanted and he’s super excited. It has a fake trigger since it’s pump action. Honestly thought it was a little boring because of this compared to the plethora of other Nerf guns he has but it turned out to be a hit.

It’s super easy to shoot, at first the darts weren’t flying very hard but after playing around with it a bit it seems to shoot pretty far. Great for someone his age (9), older kids may also find this pretty fun to use.

It would have been even better if it would have included more that just 2 darts, which I was aware of by reading the description so I also purchased a pack of replacement darts. The black wings on the darts don’t seem too durable but it’s an easy fix with some super glue if they do fall off.

This Fortnite Rocket Launcher Blaster from NERF is pretty awesome! It’s an identical replica of the rocket blaster/launcher from the Fortnite video game, which is only the most popular game out right now (no pressure lol).

The Rocket Blaster is a pump-style shooter, so it shoots with ease. It comes equipped with two rockets, which are made of soft foam and have flexible hollow tips. The rockets travel a decent distance, which surprised me because they’re so lightweight.

When I gave it to my son, he was over the moon!! He even called me “The Coolest Mom EVER “, which is pretty epic considering he always tells me I’m soooo lame (LOL). He has had such a blast with his friends recreating their own real-life versions of Fortnite / Battle Royale- which I have to say, has been a pretty cool experience for me as well- getting to watch them use their imaginations and creativity & take the concept of the game & the battles and bring it to life in their own way =EPIC!! * Definitely recommend! * I received this product for free, as part of a promotion, in return for my honest opinion.

This rocket launcher is amazing for Nerf warfare! This has very impressive range and is simple to load. The missiles are sturdy when landing on the ground from a distance. However, the fins on the foam rockets may be prone to ripping off.

It’s nothing a little superglue can’t fix. It also stinks that it only includes 2 rockets, which you have to run to the other end of the battlefield just to restock your ammo. Hasbro should make a Nerf Missile Refill Pack to help reload your foam launching blasters for a little longer.

One exception is the Nerf Modulus Ultimate Customizer Pack, which includes 4 missiles with the core blaster and tacticool accessories. Overall, this is a great blaster for Nerfers and would totally recommend this product!.

As a dedicated fan of the Nerf Phoenix laser taggers, I knew these had to be good to satisfy my expectations! So far, they have been. They’re even simpler, which means fewer options to just pick-up-and-play, but this is balanced by the extra options in the app, which give more versatility (and allow you to control volume!).

Do make sure the app is available in your region before you buy. The range and accuracy is similar to the old Phoenix (we managed consistent hits at 50m, but if you stand beside your teammate you could both get hit by a single shot).

They seem sturdy, but are glued shut, making it much harder to modify or repair them if they fail. All in all, a satisfactory and exciting addition to my laser collection, even though they are a stand-alone system (not compatible with earlier ones).

Our son was gifted this for his birthday and we couldn’t be more excited! It has brought hours of fun both indoors and outdoors. We love that there are no darts required. It means no stopping to reload in the middle of battle, no scrounging for lost darts and no one loses an eye! You can run around the house or the backyard chasing your opponent without any interruption in play.

Someone mentioned an ipod or phone is required in order to use these guns but that is NOT the case. There is an option to download an app for play but it is not required. You can play without the app and everything works just as it should.

I love this more than any of the other nerf our son has!.

Loads of fun and really great range and durable too !! My 8 year old loves them we used them in a forest too with no problems. I thought they’d be a bit Mickey Mouse but ended up far exceeding my expectations happily! Buy some you won’t regret it ! It seems to me Nerf do make quality toys!.

He is also obsessed with nerf guns. He has so many of them! One of the things I really liked about this gun is how big the bullets. The surprisingly because their so big they don’t hurt as bad as the smaller ones usually do.

I would recommend using this gun outside. The gun is huge!!!! It’s at least 3 feet long. My son had so much fun chasing us around with it and even our one year old daughter got in on the action. This is guaranteed to give your child hours of fun.

This is a must have holiday list toy!.

This nerf blaster will jam 1 out of every 2 times you load the magazine. The magazine fails to keep the darts in as well. The piston has to be fully to the rear to insert or remove the magazine, this is lame and confusing for kids.

The release button, while ambidextrous, is an absolute fail in its location. I have large hands and I can barely remove the magazine one handed. The magazine-well is terrible and abrupt and you have to put the magazine in with absolute precision or it will get jammed up and probably spit 2 or 3 darts out loose into the blaster.

Darts easily misfeed and will become lodged beside the “bolt” and although their is a hatch on top for clearing you simply can’t reach the jam, especially if you are a kid. Finally the most profound and dismal failure is the tapered inside of the barrel, this allows darts to become wedged beside each other and again, hopelessly jammed.

I sincerely hope the design team at nerf hear this and work a little harder testing before wasting this much plastic resin ever again.

I my 11 year-old son was very excited to try the Nerf Fortnite BASR-L. It replicates the gun from the game very well and it includes a scope that you can attach and remove from the blaster. However, the joy did not last long.

The quality of this product is bad. Inserting strokes into the charger is difficult to do, as the darts do not enter easily. Also, there were only about 12 darts included and i think that is not enough because kids will go and lose or damage them quite easily.

Bullets are also very poor quality, they all twisted and bend because it was quite difficult for my son to load the gun. You can buy some extra darts but they are quite expensive. It took quite a lot of time to assemble and there was no instructions or manual in the box.

The gun is quite heavy and long and my son was not comfortable to use it. I would not recommend it to my family and friends, my son is very disappointed with the product, he played with it only for about fifteen minutes.

Arrived as we were heading out for a boring car trip- in true parenting fashion, I took this with us as ‘bribery’ for my 8-year-old son, open it in the car, but not play with it. 2-hour car journey done with excitement- he was elated at the sheer size of the weapon.

Trust me; it is BIG. My only complaint would be it’s aiming sight; it was so off that we removed it and just used the barrel- efficient and ended with a higher specific body part to hit ratio! It’s fun to use and powerful- we don’t encourage aiming at humans/pets, but the boy cannot resist a good sibling shot when chance arises.

Would I have bought this for him? No, only because of the price, but as a gift, it would be welcomed generously! The Fortnite sticker added to it is pointless- it wasn’t on straight and easy to peel off.

A welcome addition to any Nerf war- perhaps for older children, as the clip only holds five darts, you have to be quick to reload and have patience.

This is the best stock flywheel foam blaster on the market hands down. Well worth the money, and TONS OF FUN!!! The firing rate is insane, and is accurate for a foam blaster. The best part is the rechargeable battery.

Buying 6C batteries can get expensive. The draw backs are right now is that nerf is pushing the hyper line. The hyper line is not there yet, but it doesn’t look like nerf is trying anything new with the rival line.

The only thing I can see is maybe pushing the rival curve line. This might make rival rounds harder to acquire in the future. PLEASE WEAR EYE PROTECTION. It’s not like getting hit by a paintball gun, but it can definitely hit pretty hard on the neck and eyes.

I loved this blaster, I LOVED it. Delivers almost 480 rounds per minute, which is VERY fast in the world of Nerf. But there is a weak link, where the conveyor belt fails. After a couple of months, the feeding conveyor belt makes an agonizing grinding noise and no longer delivers rounds to the chamber.

I’m not saying this blaster is awful, it’s amazing, but it isn’t perfect. I have purchased two of these blasters and both suffered the same fate.

The Nerf Rival Perses MXIX 5000 is incredible and is the best Rival blaster of all. The two biggest things about the Perses is the Portability and Performance. The 50 round capacity is limited to allow the gun to be smaller and easier to handle.

It is a SMG and not a big heavy load-out like the 200 round capacity of the Prometheus. This blaster performs incredible with speed and power. It fires eight rounds a seconds and the hopper is emptied in six seconds.

Perses fires rounds at a velocity of over 100 feet per second. Perses has so much power that it will cause red circles on bare skin. Eye protection is necessary and should have come with this gun, but it did not.

This gun is recommended for ages 14 and up and the handle/triggers are big enough for most adult’s hands. The Nerf Rival Perses MXIX 5000 comes with 50 Nerf Rival high impact foam rounds, a 9. 6 volt NiMh rechargeable battery, and a charger.

Straight out of the box, the battery charged to full charge in about 30 minutes. The battery seems to last a long time while using it. You will run out of ammo over-and-over again before the battery runs out of a charge.

The battery goes in and out of the blaster very smooth. The battery has a two step release to prevent accidental battery release during a battle. The gun also has a safety switch on both the left-hand and right-hand side of the gun.

There are two points of attachment for a sling if you want to attach one, but it does not come with a sling. It also has a place to add tactical attachments such as a flashlight or laser, but attachments are not included.

If a round becomes jammed, there are two ways to clear them. On top of the gun, near the end, is a jam door that can be opened to clear a jam. Also, the Rival rounds hopper can be released to access a jam.

This is a very well thought-out gun and the best performance/designed Rival blaster.

I got these nerf guns for my 2 boys. They absolutely love nerf guns. These are great because it comes with 3 different types of guns as well as bottles to shot that break when getting hit. My kids love playing with these.

The only thing they don’t like it when you cock the bigger gun if it gets hit it pops it out of shooting mode and you have to recoil it. Other than that they are great guns and I would get them again for my kids if we had the choice.

My boys are obsessed with this toy. It’s so fun! The bottle that breaks apart when hit is awesome. They love that. And I love that there’s 4 guns in there so my 3 boys aren’t fighting over them. They are the quality I would expect from Nerf.

Quality products that can take rough play. It’s easy for my boys to load, and shoot these guns and they love them! Really fun!!.

My children have nerf wars with all the kids in our neighbor hood. I love this because it has various different nerf items and can prep them for a battle they will remember. This is a 31 piece set that comes with 4x blasters.

The kids switch off and on with the different blasters and they store their ammo in their vests (sold separately). If you are looking for a kit that is perfect for family fun and nerf wars, this is perfect!!!.

This dart blaster by itself shoots pretty quick and doesn’t jam at all. While I kinda wish more darts were included, the price and quality are great. So who am I to argue? I will admit though that I did end up modding it to shoot faster by swapping motors and batteries.

While it worked great under those conditions, only do so if you’re okay with the risks.
