20 Best Toy Shopping Cart (2022 Updated)

Love that shopping cart. I bought it for my grandson who just turned 1. He loves filling his cart with everything especially oven mitts and tea towels. He likes to push things to help him walk. I thought this would be good to help with his walking.

Without putting water in the base it is really light and tips over too easily.

The idea is cute. The wheels WILL NOT stay on the carts. We purchased 4 to use in my day care center. It took less than a day for the wheels to start falling off, and no matter what we do, they will not stay on the cart.

Making not only the cart unusable but also making a hazard with the wheels and axle when the children get to them before a teacher does.

Shopping cart was easy to assemble, rides smoothly and colors of cart matched perfectly to the step2 Baker’s Kitchen I bought as well. The only thing I did not like was the Walmart price. I thought it was overly priced.

My daughter’s friend has a metal shopping cart and she loved playing with it. I went back and forth on getting the more expensive metal one or this plastic Step2 version. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

It’s lighter, easier to push, yet still durable and she loves it!.

I bought this about a month ago for my neices first birthday. I didn’t open it because I didn’t think I had to. It comes time to open presents and the wheels and axel to mount them was missing! How embarrassing! Andddd shipping took forever.

Definitely do not recommend.

This came flat packed and takes around 20 minutes to put together. No tools required, just the Alan key supplied and following enclosed instructions. Although the age suggestion is 3+ I bought this for my 15month old as I thought I\’d make a great first walker (she only likes to hold extremely sturdy furniture when walking and the plastic walker we have just tips over) I\’m anticipating this will last her till she\’s 5 or 6, making an early purchase means we\’ll get many many years of play.

The colours are lovely and the basket is made of material and big enough for a couple of cuddly toys or a bag of apples. There is also a shelf underneath. The cart is narrow enough that it doesn\’t take up much room when put away.

This item is not slightly used. Its broken and unsafe for my kids to play with. This is a giant disappointment.

The box arrived, the children couldn’t wait to use the beautiful wooden shopping cart. It was easy to assemble and sturdy with it’s adorable orange cloth basket.

This shopping cart is a great addition to the supermarket we have, the best thing is the kindi kids can stand on the shopping cart platform attached and you push her as if she is shopping. This is fantastic idea as it’s hard for kids to hold both toys at the same time especially the age bracket it is marketed for.

The bunny movements add the interactive touch to what could have been a boring shopping cart. The only downside is only two shopkins are provided which makes the basket look a little empty. Other then that the price point is spot on for this addition.

Got this cute toy for my daughters 3rd birthday. She already has a Kindi Kids doll from a previous gift and plays with it often so i knew she would love this shopping cart. The doll really can stand up and hold onto the cart, but I have to set it up for her, at 3yrs old she cannot get the doll to position on her own.

She loves playing grocery store with this set and I would recommend it for this age group.

My little girl loved this toy we loved that every part was colourful, the cart overall wasn’t too heavy so it was portable and we could take it everywhere. It’s full of playful elements such as the ears at the front of the cart bobble as you push which my daughter loves.

It’s like shes having her own shopping trip in her house so overall the quality and fun factor of this product is top notch.

This is such a cute and fun interactive you. Your little mini me, boy or girl, can push along side of you at the store or even just playing at home and get some learning in as well. It comes with a detachable basket underneath and several grocery items.

The grocery items are the interactive part. You can either scan th3 grocery and the little box on the handle will let you know it is or you can have the little box describe which item to look for. I wish it came with more groceries and even more games would be fun but the way that this cart is know is awesome.

I can’t wait to check out the other interactive toys in this collection.

I really like that some of the fruits and vegetables scan and day what they are. I wish all of them did this because a toddler can become easily agitated when they are only getting results from scanning certain foods.

My toddler understood what was going on pretty quickly so we had no issues with that. I think it would benefit the child and product sales more if all foods scanned and said what they are. My daughter loves that the bottom baskets is removable.

That give a chance for other kids to join in on the fun and promote sharing. We received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion.

After purchasing the primary color grocery cart for granddaughter’s first birthday, a friend wanted to buy something similar to have at our home. I suggested this since it combines the grocery cart and type of carrier for baby doll/plush animal for imaginative play as we have limited space.

Papa1 declared quality as flimsy and to make matters worse there was a manufacturing defect in which the wheels could not be attached to the main body of the cart. Years ago, these products were molded in one piece from what I could remember and they were durable and long lasting.

This product needs to be returned and replaced. Very disappointed since I recommended this and also where it could be purchased. I’m now inconvenienced by having to return it and re-order. As this is the second cart purpose, sadly, I would not recommend it.

Little Tykes was a favorite of my daughter when she was growing up. We were a Little Tykes family with the shopping cart, baby buggy, swing, cottage, three individual kitchen pieces, sandbox, big blocks, waffle blocks, table and chair set, outside picnic table and other Little Tykes products.

I wish I had them today for my granddaughter. This is a real person, writing a real review who is not getting paid for review.

My Great Great Granddaughter loves this little grocery cart! From what I could see it appears that it was put together easily and fast which is always a must for Christmas opening gifts time. Nothing worse than most all the toddler gifts from electronics to little kitchens, Barbie doll huge houses and the above——-at Christmas or Birthdays to kill the fun for our toddlers waiting an hour or so to really see what they got!!! Especially the electronics with all the “ties” and clamps that you need huge wire cutters from the garage to cut them and the BOX itself and have large muscle power in your hands to do so!!! Even if we take care of these toys before Christmas it is such a dread!! I got this for her and she was 20 months at Christmas–perfect size for her–has room for the food.

The Cozy Coupe Shopping Cart is the perfect toy to spark my little ones imagination! She’s been having so much fun pushing the cart around, pretending to shop and adding all the items into the cart. As soon as she saw the bright coloured design of the Cozy Coupe car on the front of the cart she couldn’t wait to start playing as she remembered going inside one in the supermarket herself.

She was even more chuffed when she realised that she could put her doll inside and push the doll around too. The cart is also very spacious and fits lots of items inside. Thankfully, for me, it was super easy to assemble, following the instructions.

The Cozy Coupe Shopping Cart is made of a strong durable material as well, which is perfect for my little one as she just loves to charge around with it. I know it will last a very long time, so she can have lots and lots of fun with it.

Great toy for kiddy’s that love push alongs. It’s essentially a shopping cart and a pram in one which my daughter loved putting her dollies and Stuffed animals in the seat and pretend they were driving too.

The shopping cart fits so much play food in which is a bonus when I do a clean up at night I can use it as a handy storage space for the play food that made its way onto the floor in the day. The colour match is great to the regular cozy coupe so they look awesome as a pair.

Overall the design is really robust and solid feeling it doesn’t feel wobbly at all. The wheels are very smooth to push and stands up to everyday toddler play. I would recommend and I feel that we could use it in shops when COVID restrictions lift as it would fit in the boot of the car and it’s a nice small size but light enough to carry also.

This is great for ages 18-27 mo. helps toddlers learn responsibility. My son pushes this around our neighborhood on our daily walks and it helps him stay in line and on sidewalk (not running off or getting close to the streets).

All the kids at the playground want a turn with this thing too. Very popular. Its the perfect height for a push toy. Our friends kid stopped playing with his at 27 mo; our son is still 19 mo so I cant say how much longer he will be interested in it.

This was super easy to put together, although I don’t love how the plastic part sits. It’s a fabulous aid for first walkers and is a great role playing prop. Our pediatric Physio recommended it as a helper to promote walking and it’s worked a treat.

Now it’s used to “shop” around the house, putting toys and such, in it. And it’s great quality. Sturdy and heavy. Not flimsy.

I love my new cart. Recently I have had to start parking on the street and due to a disability, getting my groceries in was a real problem. Not anymore. I was surprised when I got 5 plastic grocery bagfuls, a 9-pack of toilet tissue, a 28-pound jug of kitty litter and some loose stuff into this cart on the same load.

It’s easy to pull up a few stairs when loaded, even though it doesn’t have stair-climber wheels. The back wheels are large, so it pulls very smoothly. It took about 10 minutes to put together. I’m pretty tall, but the handle adjusted perfectly and easily.

I would recommend this cart to my friends and family!.

Super easy to assembly! It comes assembled except for the two large wheels. Very easy to put those on so don’t worry about needing help or not beding able to do it. BTW, I’m not a girl that can put together things very easily, the ease of popping on the back wheels and putting up the bar was all done by me in less than 5 minutes.

I love the collapsible capability as I can put it into the back of my SUV. Sure helps with making one trip with my groceries from my car to apartment. Very lightweight and easy to maneuver. High quality materials used.

I can’t express how much my 2-year-old and I love this shopping cart!! I love how there is a baby seat for her to place her dolls. The wheels work smoothly and there is enough room for her to put her pretend groceries in the cart.

For me as a parent, my favorite aspect to this shopping cart is the general engineering and design. for example, there are no sharp edges that would hurt little hands. And it is not “tippy” and can take a decent amount play without tipping over, falling forward or backward, etc.

This is a great cart. I love Little Tikes! This shopping cart was a great addition to our playroom. With that said, I have one qualm: The purple wheel coverings don’t stay on- at all! I had read reviews mentioning this and thought “surely, this is an assembly error!” Nope.

This is a production quality issue. I’m going to guess that Little Tikes needs to review acceptable wheel covering diameters. I have one wheel covering that stays on. It is smaller in inside diameter measurement than the ones that don’t stay on.

Coincidence? I think not. Other than that, it works just fine. My toddler still has a great deal of fun playing with it.

My granddaughter loves her new shopping cart. It is a great size. It holds her baby dolls and her play food. It will last her for years.

My kids had this when they were little. I recently purchased this for my granddaughter & not one piece lined up where it was supposed to. I can’t even get the wheels to go on so it’s going back to the store.

These products have gone down hill. I used to love Little Tikes products but that ship has sailed. Horrible product!.

Purchased 2 carts for Christmas gifts. The color pet of the wheel continually fell of and the cart did not roll freely. I exchanged them and had the same issue. I contacted Little Tykes and they are sending me the wheel package.

Fingers crossed that the 3rd time is the charm. Otherwise this is a cute cart.

It’s really cute, but it is not made well. Only the back two wheels spin when the cart is pushed for the one I received. They turn when I touch them, but not when in use. Also, it’s recommended for 2 years plus, per the description.

My child just turned 2, and at the tallest height, it’s perfect. Make sure to pay attention to the maximum height before you purchase it if your child is older than 2. Lastly, 4 pieces of the play food are thin cardboard boxes.

Anyone, with a toddler knows that is pointless. I think all the play food items should be plastic so they cannot be ruined quickly.

This cart is so cute! The adjustable height is why I bought it, and that it looks balanced enough that it wouldn’t topple over when my son pushed it, which it doesn’t. The sounds are cute and can be turned off-basket can be removed.

The cardboard toys are not usable for us because he is a baby and would eat them-but the rest are great! He pushes it back and forth for quite some time, fully entertained!.

This utility cart is very easy to assemble even for someone like me who is not very handy with tools! It took a total of 15 minutes or so to open the packaging lay out the parts in order and the assemble the pieces in order by following the illustrations.

This cart makes it so easy to carry in groceries from the car especially since I have balance issues and I can avoid touching shopping carts in the store since I can take this cart along (it folds flat) to use instead! I really like this little cart it works well for me and is reasonably priced, I would recommend it for anyone looking for an assistive device to help with carrying items up to 60 lbs total! Like bottled water or a big bag of birdseed or dry dog food!.

I bought this as a gift for my 2 year old niece’s birthday. She loved it! My 2 year old son also loved it and definitely needs to work on sharing. In the meantime I’m going to buy him the teal cart. I was worried it was going to be too small based on other reviews but it was the perfect size for a 2 year old.

My son is in the 98th percentile for height/weight and it was the right size for him too! The price point is great and it seems like a durable toy. Super cute too!.

Great teaching tool for our one year learning how to speak and identify foods while having so much joy doing it. It is NOT a purchase for facilitating a toddler to walk. It is too light and unstable of your baby is just starting to walk.

For future buyers, check the size of the cart. I thought it would be bigger or taller at least. I am satisfied with the purchase.

My two year old daughter loves this shopping cat. She struts around the house pushing her “baby” and groceries, like a big girl. She likes to pretend she’s shopping and I like the fact that the cart is very sturdy.

She’s been using this cart since she first learned to walk and I loved the fact that it helped to steady her as a new walker. Some of the “cheap” shopping carts did not support her at all. I tried a flimsy one in another toy store and down she went.

As soon as she leaned on it a bit, she fell to the ground, still clinging onto the cart handle. Not the case with this cart. This is great for a newly walking child who is not yet steady on their feet.

I would buy it again for any little shopper.

This little cart, once my daughter saw it she had too have it!! Now she spends most days in her own little world shopping for things around the house. I love watching her pretend to shop it is by far the cutest thing.

This toy is affordable and they play with it forever. If u have more then one kid, I recommend you buy two!!.

I purchased one of these a year ago and the white part for the baby doll kept popping out of its slots. The little pieces of plastic ended up breaking off rendering the cart unusable. Last Christmas I decided to give this product another chance, thinking perhaps I just got a bad one before.

No such luck it is The end of February and both carts had the same problem. If little tiles could come up with a better way to secure the white seat part to the pink cart part, it would be great toy.
