20 Best Toys For Dogs (2022 Updated)

This is my Minnie Aussies favorite toy. He loves to position Platypus just so to make him squeak. When given an option of toys to play fetch, Platypus is his #1 choice. We’ve had Platypus 9 months and aside from grunge on the fur, he’s still in great shape.

This fur toy doesn’t shed, but be aware that the squeaker is quite loud. My Minnie Aussie will squeak Platypus over and over again to gain attention.

We’ve been getting Rocco & Roxie’s beef treats for awhile now, so when I saw their “nearly indestructible” ball. I thought, ok, I’ll give it a try. I have Scotties, who are BIG chewers and go through nearly every toy like butter.

We can’t get those cute plush toys or cheap plastic squeaker toys, we get things like Kongs and Nylabones. Archie totally loves this ball and is his first pick of toys out of his toy box. He chews on it like a gumball and so far, it’s held up to chewing and playing alike.

Even if it starts to deteriorate, at this point it’s lasted a lot longer than many of the toys at our house!.

We rescued our Jowee from the local shelter when he was about 5 months old. His canines had been worn flat from trying to chew his way out of whatever cage he had been kept in. For the past 5 years Jowee has exercised his enthusiatic chewing on the rocco and roxie small navy blue ball.

I tried all the balls out there. He either crunched through them immediately, or they were to hard, to soft, to big or small. This navy blue ball is the perfect combination of squishiness and strength and he is never without it.

I mean literally. He keeps it by his bowl when he eats, near him when he sleeps and drops it into his water bowl when he drinks. We spend hours throwing the ball for him which he delightfully chases, fetches and brings back.

Jowee is part husky and part energetic enthusiastic mixed breed. At 50 pounds he is full grown , healthy and adventuresome. He spends hours daily just chewing his ball and it holds up well. I buy 2-3 year and keep an extra one or two as back up.

Jowee’s excessive energy is expressed in his enthusiasm for his navy ball. He loves it as much as we love him. He will play with the larger pale blue ball as well, but the navy fits his mouth just right.

It is non toxic, easy to clean and whistles when you throw it. I am not kidding when I say this toy provides an important component to Jowee’s life and definetly helps keep him calm, healthy and happy.

Both of my Rottweilers loved these balls. They played with them by squeezing them in their mouths. They would throw them up in the air and catch them. They loved to chase and fetch them. My only mistake was that I should have purchased the larger balls as the smaller ones are just a tad too small for a Rottweiler.

My dog is large and has been a big chewer since he was a pup (he is 3 now). He finds things to chew both in and outside. He loves chewing sticks outside (not super safe) so I bought this for him when he was little.

It has helped immensely with him chewing other things inside. I always know when he has lost it or needs a new one because his anxious behavior (and chewing other stuff, including his own fur) increases.

It has surprisingly helped keep him from chewing fur on his tail when he has separation anxiety, which has been a godsend for his health and my pocketbook! He absolutely loves this bone/stick!!! I highly recommend this for any dogs who are chewers, and even more so anxious chewers! It’s also great for his teeth (though my other pup who is also a chewer isn’t allowed these due to her dental issues).

My younger Aussie who will be 2 in March likes this, but then again she is more of a chewer than my older Aussie. She will chew this night, really haven’t seen her pick this up during the day. Doesn’t smell and doesn’t make a mess.

I bought the medium size for each of them. My two dogs are so different. The younger Aussie rips up every toy she has ever had. I wish that some dog toy company would make more toys that don’t have any stuffing in them, as she loves to get to the squeaker and the insides of every toy.

Instructions say 30 mins tickover but mine needed a good drive to get the holts goo from the overflow to circulate around the system cos of airlocks. I was quite sceptical about it working as coolant was literally flowing out but much to my amazement it worked.

Must buy another one and put it innthe glove box. Also, this is the best version as it works in the presence of anti freeze and will also seal head gaskets if thry are leaking. Great for an older car!!.

These are literally the only stuffed toy my dog likes. She has about six of them now, and she carries them around like they are her babies. She likes to play fetch with them and she loves to lick them.

The squeakers don’t squeak anymore because of my other dog, and they do tend to get dirty, but they’re cheap enough to replace when need be. I will buy these over and over again.

We have the middle size so it’s not crazy big or crazy small my 6 month old puppy LOVES this thing he chews and pulls on it and we throw it around and tug of war with it and it hasn’t frayed or broke at all it’s great.

Again we can’t stop laughing Sleepy Joe and Crazy Nancy. Also my Border Collie love her bandanna Adorable Deplorable. Hope Democrats are happy with their choice. Biden is selling the USA down the drain.

Yes the election was stolen from President Trump. We miss him tremendously of all the good he did for all American. If he should run and win 2024 he will be spending 4 years fixing all the harm Biden and Democrat done and fighting the biased media.

My dog love’s it!! He love’s anything that squeaks and that he can tear apart! We take great pleasure in playing with him, we throw sleepy Joe and my pup will go and get him, he likes to play tug of war with him.

Joe is very well made and very durable. Joe doesn’t say much just a squeak here and there, which we prefer. He’s better then the real Joe. We love our dog even though he acts like a Democrat we had to get it for him.

Having not been able to find small, inexpensive toys like these in stores, I purchased 4 of this toy for my parents Cocker Spaniel pups after their favorite squeaky toys wore out from several years of love.

My own Cocker Spaniel pup discovered the bag first and claimed one as her own. They all LOVE them. The designs are cute and the material is strong enough for our pups. And best of all, they didn’t have that rubber smell that some toys do.

We will be purchasing more of these.

I ordered 4 of these because my little beagle has had the alligator one for several years and it’s her favorite toy. She can’t go to sleep at night until she locates him. He’s getting worn so I thought if I ordered all 4 she get one alligator in the bunch.

But the box had 1 brown cow, 2 Orange dogs and 1 mint colored hippo. They must have stopped making the alligator. It shouldn’t be shown in the picture anymore. But overall they are nice toys and she likes the mint colored hippo now too!.

Our rescue, TIffy, absolutely loves this Hartz Squeakerz!! Dogs are very selective about the types of toys, chews, stuffed animals, etc. that they like, at least in my experience with them. Because of this, many things are purchased which do not find favor with them, and you never can tell until an actual purchase is made.

Thus, the rejected product goes to a friends’ dog or the shelter, which is fine too. But the ability to try this toy out was truly worth it, as Tiffy loves it, and she does not like many toys or chews.

The squeaker and the crackling sound really make the difference! I would definitely buy this again for her! Thanks for a great product and for allowing me to find something that delights and occupies our little girl!.

My dog LOVES this toy so much! Every day for a year now she’s been totally entertained, enthralled, busy with it more than once a day! Best dog toy purchase ever! I want to find more like this! It’s so well made that it never really shows signs of wear.

Our Husky is a major fan of toys. Unfortunately, she’s drawn to squeaker toys but destroys them almost immediately. I’ve been very impressed with this Hartz Squekerz, as it’s been 5 days since we received it, and it has 3 of the 4 squeakers still intact – a record for our Husky!! She enjoys retreiving it from the toybox when I clean up the floor – of course, a game for her.

Kudos to Hartz for developing a toy that Natasha can finally play with for more than a hot second!.

My dog loves chewing bones, especially nylabones, but cracked both of his back molars from chewing and had to have them removed. To be safe, we had to take away all of his hard nylabones so he doesn’t crack anymore.

I bought him this flexichew and some rubber chews, and this is his new favorite. I even have to take it away from him because he chews it for so long. It’s held up pretty well, almost as good as the hard nylabones which was a surprise.

I wish nylabone made more flavors in their flexichews. This is the only one I can find in the medium or large size. Hoping they add more flavors and sizes to the flexichews soon!.

I was excited about this chew toy when I ordered it. I was hoping for a tough chewer toy that wasn’t rubber and didn’t squeak when being chewed. I gave this to one of our 6 dogs, and he loved it immediately.

However, after 5 minutes there were large tooth grooves and small chunks coming off. Since it’s plastic, he can’t eat those pieces, but since they are chicken smell, he wanted to eat them. It had to go in the trash.

It would probably be good for a less powerful chewer. And if you have more than one dog, get one for all because each of my 6 wanted it and it caused some contentious yearning from the others.

Bailey is OBSESSED with her BB8 toy! It’s the perfect size for her (golden retriever) and she loves to squeak it. The best part is that she hasn’t been able to destroy it!

We have 2 Bostons and a big Staffie who LOVE their Rowdies. The JOY they get from these things is the BEST! We literally cannot purchase anything else because they are capable of destroying any non-rowdie toys in a matter of minutes to hours at best but these last! They play ROUGH with them too—tug of war, thrashing, chomping, nonstop nibbles—you name it and these things can handle it, and be machine washed too!!! I bought 3 different Rowdies with the chew zones, and spent a little over $100 bucks but it is WORTH IT!!! I was replacing a couple that had finally been worked through to the stuffing, but they lasted about a year to 18 months which is an amazing record for our household of destroyers.

Seriously, we should have them be product testers! Kevlar and firehose are a joke to our babies lol, so we will be customers for life and we constantly recommend this company to everyone we know/meet with fur babies!!!.

I bought this toy for my two tough chewing Golden Retrievers. They destroy most plush (and non-plush) toys within the first five minutes. This one lasted about ten minutes before fluff started being flung.

It lasted about twenty minutes before the first hole appeared. Then another ten minutes before the squeaker was torn out. I’m giving this toy an okay rating based on the fact that despite two large holes, a missing squeaker, and bits of pink fluff all over the place, it’s still hanging in there a week or so later.

They still like the toy and it hasn’t been ripped much further. Not too bad for these destructo twins.

My dog went crazy over this toy. It is actually several toys. My dog is peculiar in that up until now, he has only liked one toy and he treats it like his baby. These toys he loves to chase when thrown.

He picks them up and carries them around. He plays with them by himself. This is crazy! He must have 10 plush toys and a few plastic. He ignores the plastic and only occasionally plays with the other plush.

His primary toy is his baby. Now he runs and chases and is getting some exercise playing with these either with me or by himself. I think this is a great toy.

What a great toy set for dogs! My furbabies absolutely love it. They play with it all the time. They love to play fetch with it, chew on it, and definitely keeps them entertained for hours at a time.

The toy set is very well made as well. The toys are nice and durable for tough chewing teeth. It has cute faces on them. My daughter says it’s a sushi set and t so adorable. I would definitely recommend purchasing it for your furbabies.

They’ll be happy with it and it will provide hours of fun.

It’s my dogs favorite toy and longest living toy to date. She is a black lab/blue nose pit mix. She is considered a “super chewer” and has put toys to rest labeled *super chewer* from Bark Box within minutes! It’s insane.

I’m about to cancel Bark Box because this $10 toy is worth more than the $30 a month I’m paying to throw toys in the trash within 5 minutes. I’m shocked to see others say their dog got to the stuffing.

My dog is a 60lb super chewer. She’s had this a favorite toy for 6 months! We play tug with it. she thrashes it several times a day and it’s been through the washing machine several times. I’m about to buy another one before they quit making it.

Having previously purchased Consuela the Cactus and Bebe Burrito, we had high hopes for the BARK toys, but this one was ripped apart in under 30 minutes by our 25 pound lab/terrier mix 6 month old pup.

He loves the cricklyness of the toy, but since theres no thickness to the toy, it’s really quite shreddable with puppy teeth. Our dog loved it, but at $10 per half hour, I wouldn’t recommend this toy.

Ding Bert is really cute and my dog,Carlos loves him. We play with it like it can fly and that just gets Carlos sooo excited he loves the crunchy noises that it makes. I recommend this toy for other puppies cuz they’ll love the sqweeks and crunchy noises it makes.
