20 Best Toys For Goldendoodles (2022 Updated)

GoDo plush – the quilted and the velveteen are my go to toys. My rescue tore up everything and he couldn’t tear these toys up. Pup two Golden was a brutal chewer. When I bought toys for her that she didn’t chew through, I started buying a couple and hiding so she’d have one in case she buried it or it got so nasty – sometimes an ear came off, but rare.

The puppy tore a little flying pig apart one day and after that I took all her toys and balls away for a week. With no more toys, she, I guess figured out no toys isn’t fun. Anyway, as you can tell I’m a huge supporter of GoDog toys.

I mean super strong toys and when they’re on sale, buy a couple of extra if you have multiple dogs. They wash well and you can put in dryer or air dry. Best plush toys around. Seriously!.

My dog has ripped every toy she owns to shreds. It is inevitable. No toy has lasted 24 hours without the squeaker being removed and the poor creature completely disemboweled. Is this toy indestructible? No.

But I have yet to find a toy that is, despite trying MANY. This toy is a winner in my opinion and so far I have bought it 5 times for my girl to destroy. First of all, the squeaker is LARGE so I do not worry about her swallowing it.

Of course, I still supervise her so she doesn’t tear up the squeaker and swallow, but I feel comfortable watching TV or reading a book while she works on it. I know she can’t sneakily swallow like she has tried with smaller squeakers.

Secondly, although my dog is great at finding points of weakness (the seams), the rest of the toy is sturdy. In fact, she is quite content to carry around the dragon’s carcass months after removing the stuffing.

It has held its shape rather well, and it seems the fabric is very durable, only the seams are not. If your dog is a chronic toy destroyer, I highly recommend this brand (especially the dragons). The peace of mind from the huge (single) squeaker is so worth it.

And they’re pretty darn cute, too.

Great toy, made well, dogs love it, and I’m comfortable and confident with it. I have black Labradors – a retired service dog, and my current working dog. The currently working guy is just about to turn 5 years old, and has had and has loved the Go Dog toys his whole life (particularly this winged dragon version that is light on stuffing, and includes an a-typical, large, puncture resistant, long lasting squeaker).

He carries them around in his mouth, and they are just durable enough to withstand both his “quiet time” activity of sucking and softly teething the toy, and can also stand up to a decent amount of “catch & shake” when he and our other dog have The Zoomies and are running the toy around the house and tossing it back and forth between each other.

It holds up to a bit of “tug” between the 2 dogs as well (mostly because it’s well put together and there’s not very much stuffing in it too rip apart easily) but I have to give the caveat that they treat this toy a bit better than other, less sophisticated, highly stuffed toys – it is my service dog’s “favourite” toy, and our other dog does have a bit of respect for that (as my SD has respect for her favorite stuffed animal toy that she sleeps with every night, and they are also more careful not to destroy like they might any other “regular” toy) TL;DR: definitely a Favourite toy for our Labradors, and is designed to be more durable than most “plan-old stuffed animals” – while still being interesting and more entertaining than the toys with no stuffing and no (or easily breakable) squeakers.

I really like that this is a favorite toy, and still one I don’t have to watch too closely, worrying that the dogs might eat a large amount of stuffing, or one of those small round squeakers. Great toy, made well, dogs love it, and I’m comfortable and confident with it.

This ball costs more than others but it’s totally worth it! It may not crackle, squeak or have fuzz 2 pull off but it has enough give that my 65lb tough chewer loves chewing on it + it bounces so chasing it around, pouncing on it & playing fetch outside r a blast 4 him.

Also it’s the only toy I’ve got him that’s lasted more than a few days. He’s had it almost 2 months &the ball looks just like it did the day we got it. There r a variety of sizes available for any size dog u own.

I definitely recommend this toy for every dog owner that loves to chew & chase balls! It’s worth the price! It will last & ur dog will love it!.

I agree with most of the other reviews. A cookie will fall right out of the large opening and your dog will eat up the treats in no time. I can recommend this ball for moderately strong chewers. It gives with medium to strong bite pressure due to the hollow design.

It’s about as strong as, say. a Baby Kong or a Senior Kong. Maybe not for the serious highest pressure monster chewer who can burn through anything. The small size has been perfect for my Bull Terrier who’s on the small side at 55lbs.

The whole ball almost fits in his mouth but cannot pass into the windpipe. A larger dog or a stronger chewer might do better with the large. Don’t take your eyes off of the dog no matter what size you get.

The material can be torn and swallowed just like a Kong that’s starting to unravel on top. Great for fetch as it has a little bounce and is good for toss because it’s on the light side. But not for cookies so much.

These Kong balls, like every other Kong product we’ve tried, are incredibly durable, long-lasting and fun for the dog. Regarding the people who have reviewed it who “don’t care for the hole in the ball,” yikes.

This is a treat ball meaning that you put treats into the ball via the hole. While it is technically a ball, it’s a treat toy. Buy some Kong biscuits (or other treats), stuff them into the ball and call it a day.

Your dog will thank you. These are great, especially with our super-chewer Aussie mix.

If you do it correctly, this is a great puzzle for a smart dog. Initially, I put treats into the “inkwell” compartments, and my dog had no trouble moving things around to get the treats. It seemed too easy to be a “Level 3”.

Then I realized that you drop the treat into the holes of the pegs. And the pup has to move the center wheel to reveal an “inkwell”; then slide the peg over the “inkwell” so the treat will drop; then slide the peg back to get the treat.

This kept my dog busy for about 20 minutes the first time. After one time a day for about three weeks now, she can empty it in 10 minutes. We do it once a day, so it doesn’t get boring. So fun to watch her figure it out!.

Excellent puzzle feeder, the middle disc can be easily removed as starting level. Our dog first quite easily figured out how to slide the knobs to reveal treats. When she mastered that, we added the disc back and had to help her a few times and show her how it works till she fully got it as it’s much more challenging that way.

You can fit quite a bit of dry food in it if you want to serve big part of their meal in it or you can simply put one or two crunchies in each compartment if you want to occupy your dog for a while without overfeeding them.

We’ve got a 110 lb Rottweiler and 30 lb Beagle (who plays like a 110 lb Rottie). We initially bought this from a brick and mortar pet store competitor and thought it was pricey but figured we’d give it a try.

Well, our pups LOVED it, and I mean LOVED it. They played with it nonstop for months. Among a yard filled with tennis balls, giant pull ropes, and other random chew toys, this is the only toy that they consistently go for when they run out the door.

That being said, they play extremely rough and it did last only a few months. Thankfully I found it at half the price at Chewy! We’ve tried similar frisbees and they just don’t gravitate toward them like they do this one.

We are on our third one since May, so they seem to last around 3 to 4 months of serious rough and tough play. I’d imagine that they would last longer with dogs that didn’t play as rough and as frequently as ours.

For the price at Chewy and the happiness that they bring our dogs, I don’t mind buying one every few months. In fact I just stocked up and purchased 3 with my last order so that I can have another one ready when they need it.

I bought this Red Goodie Bone plus the Purple Kong Quest Bone to have a choice of toys for our little puppy to chew on. I gave him the Quest toy first but the treat holes were easily torn away after about a day and I had to throw it out to stop him eating the broken bits.

When I swapped over the this Goodie bone, it’s been a much better experience. Kong’s usual toys made from the red rubber have always stood up to lots of chewing and never seem to bore my dog. This particular bone is perfect for adding treats into the ends to keep him amused for longer.

I definitely recommend steering clear of any other chew toys (including some Kong spinoffs) and sticking to the range of Kong red or black chew toys if you have a relentless chewer.

Frisco is a Shih Tzu with a tiny mouth. This is a perfect size toy for him. It’s one he carries around obsessively. Very cute toy. Pretty sturdy. It’s still intact after several weeks of constant play.

My small size cat likes to pick up her toys and carry them around the house. This ExtraSmall ducky was a great size. I received the Blue one. She is a little afraid of the squeaker, but I think she will get used to me using it with a little more time.

To tell the truth, I added this Gumby to my order to make the free shipping amount. My 7 1/2 pound mini dachshund, even though he has masticatory muscle myositis which makes it hard for him to chew, can kill a stuffed toy in under 30 minutes if that long.

Well, the Chewy box came and he gets so excited, hoping there’s a new something besides essentials in there for him. He got that Gumby and because it’s got little arms he can open his mouth just wide enough to pick it up.

He can stomp on it to make it squeak, and he loves carrying it around, dropping it at our feet or on our laps to throw for him. It’s made with velour fabric which is nice and dense. The squeaky is in the ‘throat’ area.

It’s been a week now, and there are no seam rips, no fluffy guts, no broken squeaker. Great toy! We will definitely buy him another so I can wash this one!.

It’s a cute toy that seems to be a favorite with the dogs, but I find it alarming that fewer reviews mention the batteries inside the plastic box within the stuffed toy. I am by no means a helicopter dog mom.

Dogs live such short lives that I want mine to do anything and everything that makes them happy. I pretty much let my dogs do what they want as long as it doesn’t involve cat poop or something that could kill them.

This toy is fine if you don’t have a chewer or a dog that likes to eat everything. My dogs don’t have either of those habits, so we are fine with this toy, but my sister’s dog likes to eat plastic. As a Great Dane, she could probably swallow this toy whole.

I would be extremely worried if she swallowed the tiny batteries inside the toy. I guess the moral of this review is to proceed with caution.

This is the second Mr. Bill dog toy I bought. The first one was great, well made, the voice was loud & clear – the neighbors next door could hear it when we were outside. The problem with the first one was that my dog broke the voice box by crushing it during a game of tug, other than that it was sturdy because we put that first one through a lot & it lasted.

The voice was his favorite part of the toy so I bought a replacement – I decided we should be more careful with it so it would last even longer, I keep it in a basket I have put up for our special one-on-one playtime sessions together.

I considered buying several more as backups since he adores this toy so much, in case they ever stop making it. BUT then the second one I got had the nose hanging off, a seam in the spine was split, his voice box was barely audible as if he’s whispering, right out of the Chewy box.

I sewed his spine together & played fetch with him for about 15 minutes each day for four days, some of his hair fell out so now he looks like he has male pattern baldness going on. A few days after that I noticed the lips are starting to fall off.

My dog had his first Mr. Bill for 3 whole months & pretty much spent his whole day with that one before I had to throw it out & it still had a full head of hair, nose & lips still intact – while the second one hadn’t lasted two weeks with much less interaction, I hadn’t even played tug with the second one because I was worried the voice box would get crushed – only fetch.

The reason I’m giving this toy 3 stars is because my dog LOVES this toy yelling out “OH NOOOOO!” It is a real hoot, especially for the neighbor kids to watch him running around with it in his mouth as the toy is yelling! If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given it 2 stars for the quality of it this time around.

I will likely buy another one since the first one was excellent, I’ll chalk it up to poor quality control for now & hope the next one I get is back to being decent quality.

It squeaks and the colors are cute. My chi has so many toys and she isn’t playing with it. However, she loves to run when we squeeze it. Our little girl will come around to it though. For now the squeezing and dancing will suffice.

She will fetch it later. I would still recommend it though.

My baby Boston Terrier girl picked this one out herself while we were in the store. I call it “Grandpa’s Chicken. ” I ask her “Did you get one of Grandpa’s chickens?” which has turned into a story all in itself.

She loves this squeaky yellow chicken and takes it and shakes it all over the place. It’s one of her favorite toys. I am a sucker for getting her toys so this chicken has a lot of friends…he is a part of the growing zoo! She likes him and he has held up well.

My terrier mix puppy simply adores this toy. It’s super cute to see him walk around with it in his mouth. It’s definitely in his top 3 favorite toys, and he has a lot of toys.

My puppy plays with this toy a lot! It makes a crinkling sound that attracts attention and also comes with a squeaker inside. They are flat, so they are easy for small mouths to grasp and carry. Would work for larger puppies also!.

My dog was so excited about this. he prefers the chest itself and the potion bottles. The tag on the blue potion bottle got chewed off in a day but everything else has held up for a while now. Chest is a good size so you can stick more toys in their and has held up to moderate chewing.

Would recommend. Bonus that it’s so cute!.

I bought this in anticipation for my corgi puppy’s arrival. I was thrilled, and still am thrilled over this purchase. Hiding some treats inside helps with the boredom, and removal of the magic items is challenging, but not too difficult for a puppy.

All the toys from this magic box have held up to him so far, I can’t say that for a lot of others.

Just like that…with the wave of a wand…1 toy turns into 5! This was my first puzzle toy for my dogs and oh boy was it a great choice! They were occupied for hours pulling out the small toys and I got a kick out of how cute all the pieces are! The toys were great quality as all the Frisco toys usually are! #chewyteamrated.

The Rolly Cannoli has become our regular car toy. My puppy is prone to chewing, and the Rolly Cannoli keeps him entertained on short car rides. We spread peanut butter around the outside of the middle, and put some inside as well.

At home, we stick a large carrot through the center. My pup is a power chewer, and needs to be supervised with all treat toys. The Rolly Cannoli is holding up well!.

My boxer, Kiara, absolutely loves this toy, and so do I! It’s great to occupy her! Before I head out for the day I’ll put some treats in it for her to get. It gives her something to do when we’re not around.

I like to put peanut butter in it and freeze it to last a little longer. Doing this keeps Kiara busy for a great amount of time. Thanks neater pets!.

Love these treat toys! All my dogs seem to enjoy the texture/feel in their mouths. Like the smooth and bumpy ones both.

i have gotten these balls multiple times, i have a bully, and she’s gaga over these balls. they typically last her a few months or so, normally. i just got my chewy order yesterday and gave her this new ball, (she’s been without one for a few weeks, the last one i had purchased lasted a good 3 months) i just got this order yesterday and she was so excited over this ball.

Granted she leaves it outside normally so typically she doesn’t tear it up unless i forget to take it out of her cage. She probably squeaked this one a total of 50 times if even that and already tore out the squeaker.

these balls last so i don’t mind paying the price, but one day? come on. so i thought well i’ll do a chat and see if there’s any type of warranty and thanks to the amazing person on live chat who helped me he let me know that you have a year for replacement from the day of the order date.

SO GLAD I ASKED! not even ten minutes later and i already have a new ball coming for delivery in the next few days. and now that i know this it gives me peace of mind knowing if she does it again i won’t have to spend full price on another dang ball.

i’ve probably ordered 5 of these in the last year so i am so impressed with how chewy handled my situation and now my dog will be at peace squeaking her little heart away.

As my title says, my dog loves these balls!! However, they are anything but indestructible! She’s down to where the squeaker is broken within 1 to 2 hours, and within 24 hours she’s got the whole squeaker section out of the ball! She didn’t plays with the round caps on either end of where the squeaker assembly was.

She still lives to play with them even without the squeaker and with a big hole in it! She thinks she’s a soccer player! She works it with her front paws like a pro!! I will continue to buy them, because she loves them so much, but I wish y’all could figure out a way to make the squeaker less accessible! Her absolute favorite toy is a Wubba, though! Then when it gets the slightest little tear in it, she takes the balls out of it and plays with them! But she’s hilarious with the Wubba!! My right arm looks like a bodybuilder’s from throwing it for her!! All.
