20 Best Toys For Labradoodles (2022 Updated)

Disclaimer: My dogs are big chewers and renowned squeaker toy lovers. They LOVED this toy which we purchased after they discovered them at the dog park – they stole another dog’s WUBBA. They LOVE to chase them with their cool fabric tail and are the perfect size BUT the squeakers didnt last for even 1 full dog park visit.

They were running around madly squeaking them and having a blast when the squeaker died. On a happier note, we bought the KONG large squeaker balls, which have been great. I only WISH that KONG would put this ball inside of their KONG WUBBA product because they (and all of the dogs at the park) LOVE the KONG WUBBA but the squeaker ball inside that toy is not durable AT ALL.

I chatted in to Chewy about this and they replaced it for free immediately – which was great customer service. Unfortunately, the replacement died quickly too so I think this is a KONG design problem and I didn’t think it fair to make Chewy keep replacing the items.

My dogs are familiar with treat dispensing toys, but this one falls short by many factors. We got the large size, hoping it would be sturdy enough to withhold the energy of a growing large puppy. I am quite happy with the size of it, and it is quite heavy.

However, the area where you can put kibbles in (i. e. , the yellow top) is too small to put any significant amount of kibbles. There are two adjustable openings. One inside the yellow top, that controls how fast the kibbles fall into the body of the toy.

The problem is that once the kibble falls through the first opening, it goes down to the base almost immediately, providing almost no challenge at all. The second opening is on the side of the purple base.

Although this opening is also adjustable, the dog can easily get change the size of the opening with their paws/teeth, which makes the size of the opening irrelevant. Also, the size of the second opening can potentially risk catching a dog’s tooth or nail, resulting in injury.

Unlike other treat dispensing puzzles where the dog can easily flip the toy to free themselves, the significantly heavier base of this toy can prevent them from freeing themselves. In addition, the way the toy is build makes it almost impossible to clean the inside of the toy.

Although I can run warm water and soap through the two openings, it is not possible to dissemble the toy to make sure it gets cleaned.

I have 2 large Bob-a-Lots. My dogs love this treat dispenser, but I hate filling it because the opening is small so it’s not easy or quick to fill. If the opening to fill it were larger, the food wouldn’t get stuck as I fill it and I would use it much more often.

Also the slider to control how fast the treats dispense broke off both the toys I have. This also makes filling it harder because I can’t close it to keep the treats from coming out as I fill. The dispenser hole is on the side on one of the toys so I have to angle it weird as I fill it so the treats don’t just come right out.

In the attached photos I’m pointing to each dispenser hole. My dog chewed off the lid of one of the toys but that doesn’t affect the toy at all.

I’d buy it again. Bought this kind of spendy item for a newly adopted v smart pooch. It, along with a snuffle mat, helped entertain him, while pacing the speed at which he finished meals. It’s not overly loud on my hardwood floors like most of the other food balls are, bc it doesn’t roll around really.

It behaves like a buoy, and rights itself. I like how I can control the speed at which the kibble are dispensed. Unfortunately, one of my other two dogs had at it one night, managed to unscrew the top, and then gnawed down the upright piece completely so there’s nothing left to screw the top onto.

Pretty bummed.

This is perfect for 2 of my dogs! They love them and hold up well for large dogs, Kaia my large German Shepherd & my medium size dog, Clover. I would love another pack or 2 when I can afford it. They just love them and and that makes me very happy!! I hope this set stays around for many years! Thank you Chewy, I have been looking for something like this but have never found it and it comes in a bag with a zip open and close which is great for keeping the ones for future use.

We have two dogs…a black Lab who only uses toys as objects to greet visitors with. Our other dog is a rescue Terrier (17#). She’s been with us for 6 years and has clearly shown her preference for Lamb Chop! When we give her a new one it gets carried at a full run with squeaker squeaking in time with each step back and forth from front door to kitchen.

She takes it with her for weeks. Then, finally she makes a hole and begins to un-stuff it. We pick up piles of fluff and eventually a squeaker until Lamb Chop is only a carcass. BUT that isn’t the end by any means.

Now it still gets carried around from bed to food bowl to the top of the couch. Finally when the head is hanging on by a thread, we disappear the carcass and in a week or so, introduce a brand new Lamb Chop.

The whole cycle begins again. A full toy box and out comes Lamb Chop every time.

Lamb chop has undergone 7 successful surgeries in the two days since arriving. My fingers are crossed that my mediocre stitching with a double-threaded needle and reinforced knots are enough to keep the old wounds together and that eventually, this thing will spend more time in play with my dogs than on top of the fridge.

For reference, I have 2 Doods and a Dalmatian, so if you have a smaller, less rowdy bunch, you might be okay ;).

We recently lost one of our two Golden Retrievers and the one left is beside herself. We had another that passed in January of 2021, who was a litter-mate of our last one, Mira. She has never been an ‘only’ dog and is acting lost while looking for her pack.

About a week after the 2nd golden passed, she started shunning her food; she’d eat a little but that was it! I was on the Chewy app buying her shampoo and some treats when I came upon LambChop in the Jumbo size.

I bought it thinking it might help in her search. Long story short, as long as Lammie is next to her bowl, she’ll eat! I have since ordered 4 more Jumbo plushes (assorted animals) for her so that we always have a go to! Thank you Chewy for carrying such great products!!!.

This toy is AMAZING! I have yet to be disappointed in Jolly Pet toys. My childhood dog started out and 3 generations later Jolly Pet still holds the gold medal of toys. They are make well and last forever.

Not to mention your dog will go crazy for it. Right now we have 3 dogs in the house under the age of 3 and Poppy our oldest has not left it leave her sight since it came in the mail! I actually went and ordered a larger one.

Poppy is on the cusp of needing a medium and large so I started with the medium 6 in because it was best suited for all the dogs. Can’t wait for the Large to come in and see which one she prefers and which one she lets the others play with haha.

Border Collie approved. Definitely her favorite toy to entertain herself (which I love) and if I’m bored I just shake it or hit the inside smaller ball around and she goes crazy (which I sheepishly also love).

My only critique is that a version with a kind of silicone outer lining or something similar for grip and comfort would be nice as it is all scratched up due to her biting it and carrying it around. This causes scratching on me if she sets it on my legs or I pick it up.

Otherwise it is great. Not to mention I have owned it over one year. To note: My dog is a classic border collie who needs entertainment and while she is a heavy chewer, she is trained to get a bone when she wants to chew and I have met other dogs (such as many pits) who are stronger chewers.

She uses a medium extreme ko-ng for reference and can escape any crate. Silicone heavy duty toys usually last. She is also anxious and ball obsessed so she does not try to destroy this though she probably could with motivation.

I got these in hopes of entertaining my new pup a Chi-Poo. At first she wanted nothing, notta, no interest at all of them! But lucky for us it was not a lost purchase. Our Yorkie decided these were/are the best thing ever! Hubby & I laughed so hard the first night I peed myself.

After about a week our Chi-Poo decided she would try pushing it around a bit, & from that moment she was/is non stop with it! & a month later she is still lovin it! She loves to start rolling it, then will pick it up & throw in the yard (self entertainment) & then run & pounce on it & roll on it & do her best to hide it from our Yorkie! If you are looking for self entertainment & laughing YOUR butt off, this is the toy! (Btw) we got all the talking balls & she loves all of them! It’s non stop giggling at our place.

If you are home (as we are, retired) and feel sorry for your dog not having someone to “talk to” other than us, this is the best entertainer! It makes all kinds of sounds so you have to be prepared for that, but our cocker spaniel loves it and all talking balls.

After a doorbell sound, there is a 7th cavalry sound. When I want my husband to get off the couch, I have trained our dog to “sound the charge” which she has leaned comes after the doorbell sound. It only makes sounds when the ball is in motion.

Another plus is now she does not bark when our home doorbell rings as she is so used to that sound on the ball! Love this!.

I would highly recommend, especially for active dogs. My dog absolutely loves this toy. He will play with it until he’s worn out and panting. Yes, it’s noisy (he knows it as his noisy ball) but I can’t deny him when I see how much fun he is having.

One issue: he’s had for exactly one month & there is a problem with the noise maker. It keeps getting stuck on one sound & sometimes doesn’t turn off until I hit it. Not sure if it’s defective or time for a battery change.

Short life if its the battery. I still recommend this regardless.

I have been buying Chuck It products for years. Multiple launchers in various sizes, the flying Squirrel, the volleyball sized ball with notches. The products have lasted forever. My medium size launcher finally was done after many years of play.

I bought a replacement at a Pet Store and it cracked and slowly the crack spread to where you couldnt use it. I bought another one on Chewy. com about a month ago. I went to use it this morning. The ball was stuck in the launcher, so it flew from my hand and hit the driveway.

I realize this isnt supposed to happen, but I never expected this PLASTIC toy to basically shear and break in a fairly thick part of the shaft. I really think that the material is not the same and not nearly as durable as it used to be.

Tough cause the product is fantastic, but I am questioning the quality of the plastic. PS, I bought a bunch of the rubber balls, which are way more durable than the fuzzy tennis ball ones.

The Chuckit! is great fun for our 5-month-old chocolate lab puppy. It’s fun for my husband and me as well. We have a house full of furry family members and Truly, the pup, has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Since we’re on the older side (60) playing fetch can be a bit difficult as our health prevents us from performing significant physical activity. This toy is a life-saver. We used it tonight for the first time since the purchase.

Truly was able to burn off a great deal of her energy and I was thrilled to see her run like the wind. My pup is fast indeed! The Chuckit! design allowed my husband to pick up the ball without having to bend and aggravate his sciatica.

I think he enjoyed it as much as Truly! This will now become a part of her daily exercise routine providing me with laughter and joy. I highly recommend this toy for pups and dogs with high energy levels.

We were looking for a Jellycat toy dog for our groomer, who had just had a baby girl, when we spotted this adorable looking Labradoodle plush toy. It was a great lookalike for our own rescue dog when we first had him three years ago.

Impossible to resist, so we bought this one for us. Our groomer was delighted with her baby toy too.

This is surprisingly lovely. Gave it to my daughter for her 30th Birthday to take back to her flat, as she misses our actual dog. It looks like our dog. The ears have very slightly darker patches by design, as our own cockapoo does – these dogs are rarely completely white.

So this is very realistic. As well as being rather sweet. I think a child or an adult would like this. (I wouldn’t know if it would be suitable for a baby however. ) It seemed to be the most realistic cockapoo that I could find.

I doubt anyone would be disappointed. Quick delivery.

This extremely cuddly Labradoodle is of high quality and an incredible replica of a blond labradoodle. I bought a book for my granddaughter with pictures of her labradoodle and included this stuffed friend.

Good quality and very realistic. Grandson will love the ability to animate its mouth and have it to hide inside its shell. He loves turtles and every birthday gets a turtle present. This will be his first puppet ! We’ll have fun thinking of a name for it – it’s SO cute.

I bought her for use as a dog toy for my puppy. This flamingo exceeded my expectation. She is quite lovely. She made it into my curio cabinet instead of the dog toy box. Excellent quality for use as a collector gift.

My youngest daughter ordered one of these for her niece. My daughter opened it to make sure it was ok. it was so soft and cuddly that my daughter wanted her own. My grand baby (7) carries hers everywhere.

I bought this donkey for my husbands 86th birthday. He loves it – he supports the donkey charity. Even the family adore it – it is so well made and attractive to look it. Donk has pride of place and is lovely to cuddle.

Super cute plush! We have a labradoodle that looks exactly like this plush so I was super pumped when I found this. It was a great addition to add to my little one’s Easter basket. At 10 inches, it’s the perfect size for my little one to lug around.

The quality of the material and the sewing is good. Love that it’s soft and that it doesn’t shed. The extra detailing of the different shades of its fur was a nice detail. The attached adoption papers were also a nice addition and perfect to incorporate into my little ones imaginative play.

Highly recommend for labradoodle lovers!.

Received the Toy Plush Puppy Floppy Golden Retreiver 10inch stuffed animal today. My three year old immediately grabbed it and named him Goldie. He loved the soft body, the so soft fur and the realistic face and the coloring was fantastic.

Looked just like a real dog. Seems to be built sturdy and should last him a good long time. He has already stated it will be joining him in his bed tonight. This is a good toy for a little boy or girl.

Just the right size for their little hands. He has already had me take a picture to send to his extended family. Great job.

My dog is a power chewer. He loves his toys but destroys them quickly. I wasn’t sure this toy would stand up & have wasted a lot of money on toys “guaranteed ” to last. This ball has proved me wrong! We have had if for several months now & it is still holding up to his powerful jaws.

The ball is very firm & it is hard for me to squeeze it but he is able to pick it up & carry it around. I do get scared sometimes with it though. There are times where he opens his mouth up wide to pick up the ball & sometimes his teeth get stuck in it & causes some panick.

With that, I don’t let him play with it unsupervised. So if you are looking for a toy that will hold up to your power chewer and you are sick of wasting money, this is the toy for your pup! I bought the 8inch & I have a 85lb pit mix.

My GSD can’t get enough of this toy. I actually have to take it away after half an hour because the top of his nose gets raw! He plays it alone most of the time, but its fun to play soccer with him too.

Fair warning: this is a heavy ball and will collide regularly with your yard furniture. Your furniture should be able to withstand the force, or you should put up barriers to prevent this. Also, as I mentioned, my dog will play so intensely and for long that he will wear out the skin on top of his nose.

Bottom line, we’ve had the jolly ball for about 8 months and my dog remains obsessed. You should try it.

My lab’s absolute favorite. We’ve had it for three years, and my three large breed destructive dogs are unable to destroy it. Great way for them to tire themselves out chasing it in the yard. My lab loves it so much that we actually have to hide it from him because he will play for hours.

And he’s still just as excited every time we bring it out for him. It is definitely better for larger yards. It gets a little hectic bouncing off of fences and anything you leave out. Definitely recommend!.

These plush toys are perfect for small dogs, providing they aren’t super aggressive chewers. A couple of things to note, there are two sizes of squirrels. One is small but the other is tiny. I have a multi-pet household but they are all under 9lbs.

One can be rather destructive, so I keep an eye on her but she absolutely loves pulling the little critters out of the log. That’s her thing. Meanwhile her siblings wait for her to free the squirrels then they grab a toy and play.

These are surprisingly durable. I first purchased the small log, those squirrels are tiny. One of my dogs LOVES the little squirrel. Destructive dog got ahold of the little squirrel, removed the tail but that didn’t matter.

So the little squirrel has survived for a couple years until it recently had it’s squeaker removed. Little dog was beside himself. My husband actually sewed the little thing, it’s that loved. I ordered another log but it wasn’t the small one and the squirrels are larger, so there wasn’t any way that the dog would accept a replacement.

So I ordered another small log and he now sleeps with the old and a new tiny squirrel and I’ve put two squirrels away for future. If you have a dog that is destructive, most of these plush toys are no match but gentle chewers they are fine.

In fact you are getting multiple toys. I could not find the tiny squirrels as a replacement option but the little log and 3 toys is inexpensive.

Our curious and energetic Basenji loves the little squirrels. He fetches them and plays on his own for a bit. He tears up everything and this has lasted more than a month – all squirrels in tact and still squeaking and the stump is just missing 2 leaves but there’s no stuffing to pull out.

We put treats in the bottom and then put the squirrels and some other toys in the stump and Vito will stay entertained until he can get the treats out. We bought the medium for our 30 lb pup and I just got the small for my mom’s Maltese.

It’s so cute with tiny squirrels. We’ll see how she likes it.
