My Queensland Heeler, Xena, wore her first Zisc out! I bought a glow in the dark one, but never played at night. When she wore the other one out, I bought an orange one and a blue one, so they would show up.

The glow in the dark one turned kind of brown in the dirt and got lost lots of times. We live on acreage. Anyway, thank you for a great product. It’s durable enough for her and the size is perfect. If she picks it up from the ground, she paws at it and folds it in half like a taco and brings it to me! When she wears out these two, I will certainly buy another two!.

My dog is a power chewer; nothing lasts more than a few minutes. Most frisbee-type toys get holes in them during the first play session. Not the West Paw flying disc! As long as I don’t leave it with him it lasts months.

I don’t know how many months, however, because sooner or later someone gets careless and walks away during a play session. And if he’s alone with it for more than 5 minutes he shreds it. It’s a pretty good flying disc.

It’s easy to throw, easy to catch, easy for my dog to pick up off the ground. It goes a long way.

Decided to buy this for my then 9 month old standard poodle as she came across it in a local dog park and didn’t want to put it down. She loves the ball we bought her from West Paw (on recommendation from her dentist) and she adores this disc toy! She loves chasing it down in the yard and it’s so nice and soft and flexible for her mouth.

She parades it around very proudly and likes to play tug o war with it as well. So far it’s stood up against all the tugging and twisting even when I was sure it would get a hole in it from her teeth.

So well made and designed with a dog’s comfort and joy in mind. Highly recommend!.

These products are high quality very functional. I was amazed how easy it is to set up the crate, open the box, take it out and pull it up. The quality is unbeatable and I have spent hours researching dog crates.

It will last many years. You know the old saying ” you get what you pay for”, well in this case it is true! You will not be disappointed. The Snooze crate pad is also another quality item. Well made and sturdy.

I also love the Groove Training Aid, is is thick and solid One of the smartest training tools I have seen in years. Diggs certainly impressed me with the quality of the products they offer.

I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. It does promote licking because that’s how your dog can reach his snack and it does calm them and it’s great that it goes in the crate but eventually when the spread or popsicle or whatever it is getting low a dog will chew because dogs are chewers.

It’s not really that big of a deal you just have to supervise your pup and remove it. The really big issue with it is cleaning. I literally have to run boiling hot water over it and use a teeny little wire brush to get all the food off and then I run it through the dishwasher.

That’s why it gets four stars.

The dog now reacts to the question “Do you want to do a puzzle?” with excitement, which is adorable. She is pretty smart so she kind of got the hang of the boxes after the first one or two times, but she still has fun, it occupies her for a couple of minutes, and it gives her some mental exercise on days we can’t go out as often.

I just mix up the orientation of the boxes each time I prep it for her. From my experience with a VERY highly food motivated dog, I would recommend starting out with low-value rewards in the boxes. Now that she knows the basics of what to do, I like to vary the reward values of the treats among the different boxes to keep things interesting every time; but early on, the box with the pull drawer got demolished because I had a high-value treat in there, she got frustrated when she couldn’t figure it out right away, and she just gnawed desperately at it until the top completely popped off! I was able to snap it back on, so it’s still useable.

All the boxes have taken a bit of a beating at this point, but I’ll definitely keep using them until they break completely. Quite happy with this product, and will be looking to see if there are higher difficulty ones to keep her interested.

This is the first time I bought my two dogs interactive toys. Honestly, I don’t know who’s having more fun with them, me or them! They love discovering the hidden treats, and I love watching them learn how to lift up lids and pull out drawers by the attached roping.

The only issue I have with these toys is that they are geared more for small breeds. My 2 fur babies are very big Rottweiler’s. My male rott’s muzzle is so big and square it’s difficult for him to get the treats out of the small round slots in the other toy I bought them (I bought 2 so they could both play at the same time).

He does do better with this square box puzzle since it’s large he has no problem with it. I really enjoy watching them figure out how to get to the treat inside, so I’m going to buy two more so they will have a variety to play with.

And they are so happy after they play each game twice you can really see it on their faces(they smile from ear to ear and pant like they just finished running). It gets rid of their boredom. I do recommend buying one for your pet, and see which one of you has more fun with it!.

My dogs love puzzle feeders. I thought it was a nice touch that this game comes with instructions on how to make your dog interested and successful. I didn’t use it. I just stuck the treats in it and had the dogs go for it.

They have a difficult time with the lid with string, they haven’t quite figured out they need to use their mouth. For their breakfast and dinner, I use this puzzle feeder along with 2-3 others and hide them in my yard, then let 1 dog (at a time) go out to find the puzzles and get their food.

They love it! Best! Game! Ever! And I have enough puzzle feeders to change up from breakfast to dinner. I have a 20lbs dog (terrier) & 50lbs dog (mutt?). This holds up well to the terrier’s digging at it, and mutt trying to flip it upside down.

Neither of my dogs are chewers, but if your dog is, I would strongly recommend supervising. I love that it is plastic and I can throw it in the dishwasher to clean it. Also, I love that the boxes can be removed and reconfigured.

I plan on freezing some chicken broth in them for a tasty (outside only!) treat this summer.

I have two of these. The first of which I bought when my dog was still a puppy, he is now 4 years. Most toys do not survive a day with him, let alone multiple years! And it isn’t that he doesn’t play with it either.

I will say he doesn’t chew on it everyday like a nylabone, but he does chew it and still has not managed to do any significant damage. He loves playing fetch with it as it has a slight bounce when it lands so he can’t predict where it will go.

Drives him nuts!.

My dogs love to eat meals or treats out of this toy. I had to get a second so they wouldn’t fight over the one. I’ve never had any issues with the blue pieces coming out or not sliding well on either like some people have said, and I purchased two of these with several months in-between from two different stores and they both work great.

I love the there’s a tray you can pull out to load it. At first, I had to show my dogs that the pieces could slide and they took it from there. Within a matter of days they were experts. It’s amazing to sit there and watch they slide each piece with purpose, one after another, as opposed to just pawing at it until something moves like they did in the beginning.

They can solve it pretty fast now, so it’s often better to feed a whole meal in them instead of individual treats. My boys are little so I cut up treats into tiny pieces so they aren’t eating too many calories in treats considering there’s 24 spots to put them.

But then they solve it so quick because they don’t take long to eat. The only downside is the cleaning. My dogs eat moistened kibble so it can get messy; even with dry kibble and treats you need to wash it because of the saliva will grow bacteria.

I use my kitchen sprayer and slide the pieces as I got to make sure to clean in between. Despite this, I still love this product. I will put it away for awhile so they have more interest when I get it out, but when I do leave it out they will go sit and paw at it when they want a meal.

This toy is great for burning off nervous energy when bad weather restricts your walks. It’s made of smooth plastic with no sharp edges. It’s rated Level 3 which is the most challenging. The sliding motion required didn’t come naturally to my dog.

I Found it best to start by teaching him to slide the doors with just one door at at time until he got the hang of it. He likes this best when I sit with him and fill a few cups at a time. He gets so excited that after a 20- 30 minute session he’s ready for a nap.

Tip: Baby carrot slices make a great (non-messy) treat to use with this puzzle.

If you’re looking for a puzzle that will keep your pup busy, this is a good one! Have had this puzzle for several months now and it never fails to keep my pup entertained. He hasn’t quite figured out how the pieces slide but he does scratch at the puzzle until he’s able to get all the treats out of it.

I was worried when I first got it that he would break it because he’s 40 lbs and he steps on the puzzle to get the treats out but it has held up great! It used to take him about 20 minutes to get the treats out but he’s much quicker now.

Once he got the hang of the puzzle, I started using it as a slow feeder for his kibble, and it works great! Overall, I highly recommend!.

I bought this for my cats. Our dog is a Greyhound who is way too big for this puzzle. We have three Bengal cats. The Alpha cat (Zhumer) is VERY food motivated. He got all the treats out of this the third day we set it up for him, after being shown how to do it.

The third cat in the pecking order (Bandit) figured out how to open doors that have a lever handle, but he doesn’t have the patience for this. The middle cat in the pecking order (Soft As Mink) doesn’t care about treats, so she has NO interest.

Since a cat can’t grab the blue towers with its mouth, we need to leave those a bit slanty and not all the way into the holes where they fit, so the cat can knock over with paw or face. Instructions for assembly are NOT included, so human user needs to figure out.

I finally managed to get the clear tower locked in place, but I’m not sure how I did that. Description should include SIZE of dog for which this is intended (I’m guessing around 20 pounds maximum).

I almost gave up Using activity boards because my dog is honestly too smart (Aussie/heeler) and he would do them in 30 seconds so I didn’t like wasting money. this one actually engages him and makes him think a little bit.

It took him 5 minutes or less to do this one but that’s a lot longer than others have! He loves it! The frenchie likes it as well and does ok with it, but the part where the pieces slide are too far down for his fat flat face.

He can’t reach the treats in that part. And he’d ratherJust chew on all the pieces. I also accidentally had it on autoship by itself and just messaged Chewy to see if I can return the second one as I had no use for two.

They replied right away and said they would refund the second one. The refund even included the shipping cost as it was shipped by itself!.

My 1. 5 year old golden loved this puzzle. He enjoyed the sliders he’d previously mastered from a previous puzzle and was fascinated & quickly figured out how to manipulate the little doors, and enjoyed doing so repeatedly.

I LOVED that this washed beautifully on the top rack of the dishwasher. In the future, I’d only buy a game that is dishwasher safe because it is very difficult to get the slobber & all the soap off the other puzzles, so I am 100% sold on that feature alone.

CONS – I was disappointed to find that the lift off cones were not a good size for him, so we didn’t use them at all. They may might be okay for a medium size dog but they are definitely a choking hazard for a large, full size puppy who thinks every oddball item is for ingesting.

Perhaps the cones could be larger or attached with something durable and relatively safe, not sure what….

We have an energetic and smart rescue hound who always needs outlets to use her brain and nose. This toy was perfect for her! The lids are a great addition. It took her a few minutes to figure out how to spin the tubes so I worked with her at first to understand the toy.

She caught on quickly and now it’s all her. Once she caught on we were able to advance her by switching up different cap combinations. I like to feed her meals in this, so she’s working and keeping busy while I attend to other things.

If we use the difficult caps, the three hole one, it takes her maybe 25 minutes or so to eat her meal? I have to refill it but it’s still time that she isn’t bored. She loves this toy, she is excited to see it and waits while I fill it.

It’s just a really great addition to our routine so thank you! It is heavy and well made, she has yet to tip it over and she’s 75lbs. Now I just need more like it so we can switch it up for her! I would say that you shouldn’t leave your dog alone with this or any plastic toy, our girl isn’t a chewer but I could see this toy being chewed on quickly.

I always stay within eye sight in the event she knocks it over or to fill it once she’s emptied it. Lastly, our other hound mix doesn’t understand it yet but he just may need more time to work with it, he uses a spinner feeder currently and loves that.

Love this fun toy! I’m always looking for extra ways to feed my pup so he takes a bit longer to eat his meals. This is a great fit for two reasons. First, every time he swipes at it, only one or two pieces of food or treats fall out.

Second, he is easily frustrated, and I wanted to help him build some perseverance. If something is too difficult to figure out, he will leave it to the next fun thing to do. However, when his favorite treats are involved, he tries really hard! It was very satisfying to watch him nose, swipe, smell, and learn how to make it work for him.

He had many failures, but ultimately succeeded. My only advice is to check the measurements. It was smaller than I imagined, my guy at 6 months is already 60lbs, so he towers over this toy. This is not a detractor for me, just an observation.

For us, we love this little contraption, and it routinely makes it into the feeding rotation.

This is a really easy assembly and works great for my cat and dog. Although, neither of them is quite at level 2 puzzle solving, they are interested and the tubes are easy for them to push/manipulate with their paws.

Just make sure the treats are small enough to not get stuck under the bar that extends through the middle of them. I also like that the difficulty can be customized between no lid, the lid with the large hole, and the lid with the small holes, or some combination of the three.

It does seem to have weights in the bottom, helping to keep it steady and stable, but a really determined dog could absolutely knock it over. It disassembles really easily and is fairly easy to wipe down by hand – there aren’t really any nooks or crannies for food or treats to get stuck or wedged into.

Although it dispenses small kibbles very well, this plastic ball is a bit too rigid for my dog. Within 10 minutes, it became a chew toy. He soon chewed small plastic pieces from the opening of the toy.

If it were made of pliable rubber, it would be ideal. I suggest supervising a dog during the use of this ball. As soon as all of the treats have been dispensed, it should be or refilled or taken away until another playtime.

We have a 2 year old Beagle who is new to treat balls. We purchased the IQ ball first and within seconds she had it figured out. The Atomic treat ball was next and once again it took seconds for her to figure it out.

You can’t adjust this one like you can the IQ ball but they have to flip it rather then roll it! Good quality, easy to wash and fun for however long it takes to get those treats out 🙂 Beagle approved, 4 paws up!.

Hard to find affordable, durable chew toys for 10-month old medium-large dog. If I’d touched it, the hollowness would have put me off purchasing. One of the drawbacks to on-line ordering. I’d recommend it to someone depending up on their dog’s age, activity, and chewing habit.

Best treat ball I’ve purchased so far. Within the interior are little shelves which trap treats inside, releasing when the ball moves in a certain direction. I have a very clever Spaniel who has worked out how to get treats quickly from all previous toys, this one is keeping her amused and doesn’t release all the treats too quickly, or too frustratingly slowly.

The rubber is strong, but has give, unlike previous treat balls, so it doesn’t damage furniture when she over enthusiastically chases it around the room, and it doesn’t echo against laminate flooring.

Only down side is, it can’t be taken apart to clean, so is suitable for dry treats only.

Would definitely recommend especially if dog tends to bolt its food. Fun to watch too!

Perfect sized ball for for my little chihuahua! Amuses her trying to get her treats out. Need to use the right size treats so that they fall out easy enough. Nice colour!

My dogs loves this West Paw Design Zwig Dog Toy. This toys is really cool to play with your dogs. We have a pool and our dog love to retrieve toys from the water. This works great for pool play. A lot of other toys fill up with water or sink to the bottom, not this toy.

It is also great toy for tug of war. This is easy for dog to hold In their mouth. My silly dog walks around with this hanging out of her mouth. Also this is dishwasher safe. Wow how cool is that. Not any other toy we have ever purchased is dishwasher safe.

It survived!!!! I can’t believe its actually lasted his chew power and every day play time. It is a great toy to play tug of war and catch. The shape seems to make it very easy to throw and make play time go further in the yard.

I highly recommend this toy if your do likes to destroy his toys like mine does.

This company is the best. Everything that I have from them has survived through my aggressive chewer for a few years along with my puppy nieces and nephews. The toys are easy to clean and maintain, do not flake or fall apart.

They are durable even with a more aggressive Catahoula mix medium dog, lab mix, and larger mutt playing with them every day. We’ve even had some snuck outside and they are still as good as new when found and cleaned up.

Boomer is an older rescue dog with some bad teeth, so I am careful of what I give him to chew. This material is super-tough but not hard on his teeth. I can put so many different types of treats in the slots and it takes him a long time to dig out every little bit.

I had previously bought him a different treat-dispensing toy that was of a harder material and he quickly chewed a hole in it and was starting to eat flakes of it. He has three of the Orbee toys and can’t chew off anything.

For a dog with bad teeth he is a strong chewer!.

Wasn’t sure this one would survive the teeth, but so far so good (we are about 3 weeks in), our puppy destroys most things so very durable toy. You can pop treats inside the grooves and in the middle of the ball.

Our puppy immediately worked out bite the ball on a certain angle and every treat falls out at once (except the middle treat). Not looking at it as a treat toy she likes it as a ball and often self plays with it.

It’s a good size for us to play with her in the garden, not too small to get lost and soft enough not to worry about the kids hitting the windows. We are very happy with this one.

This thing is enormous. I have medium sized dogs (26-52 lbs) and none of them are Staffies so they don’t have huge mouths. For some reason I thought this would be smaller, my mistake. It is the size of a softball and I wish there were size options.

I have not tried it for treats yet. I gave 3 stars because of size. Description also says this has a mint scent. I think it does, but it is very hard to detect and smells more like weird rubber to me.

This toy was delivered today and I have already thrown it out. It is awful, terrible, and I will never, ever be stupidly suckered into buying something recommended by Wirecutter again. (That’s why this toy is sold out.

Many people are obviously as stupid as I was. ) The toy kept falling apart when my dog rolled it (she got the point of it immediately), the plastic is cheap and junky, the top part is in two pieces that fall apart repeatedly, and even though the price has been reduced, it’s still overpriced for what it is.

I am so sorry I bought it. I have a much better treat-dispensing toy made of thick, quality rubber that I bought several years ago, and if i could read the name on it, I would recommend it in a hearbeat, if they still make it.

This treat ball is great!! My dog will push it around for a long time. He looks so cute hitting the ball with his paw. And he’s always really happy when a treat comes out. We have a large one at home and a small one at work to keep him busy while we’re working.

It’s really durable too. He’ll bat it across the hardwood floor and inevitably it’ll bounce down the stairs and is still totally fine. You can adjust the inside divider to make the opening smaller making it harder to get the treats out.

Highly recommend.

This was a random add-on to push an order into the “free shipping” range. When we got it, I didn’t think it would last. We’ve used it once or twice a day for six weeks now! Our mini-Aussie loves, loves, loves this ball.

It has a slider piece inside, so you can adjust the difficulty/size of treat. At first we left it open wide, but she got so good at it, we keep it at the smallest setting. Initially I didn’t close it tightly enough, and she figured out if she bounced it around enough – still didn’t break! – that she could eventually open up the whole thing, so I am a bit more careful now.

When she was teething, and kibble was painful, I cut up small cubes of cheddar, dusted them very lightly with cornstarch so they wouldn’t stick together, and she was in heaven. Well, well worth it. I will immediately replace it when it meets its inevitable demise.

Our 10 month Rottie likes to chew on the bone. After two weeks she finally was able to get all of her treat. I just ordered more treats to keep her chewing on her bone instead of EVERYTHING else in our house.

I only put her kibble in the balls and she is not a fan of balls yet. As of yesterday she actually ran to get one and brought it back to me 3 times but then lost interest. I put the bone in her crate at night which helps keep her entertained and doesn’t squeak like her other toys.

This toy lasted exactly 2 weeks and 3 days before it was destroyed, and it wasn’t my dogs only or favorite toy. The ends held up well but it started splitting in the middle and was totally shredded a day after that.

Have 10 lb. little guy that we adopted and he is a very aggressive chewer. This bone seems to be doing the job. he doesn’t even have the ends chewed like he does on nylon bones. I am very pleased and will be ordering other toys for him.
