20 Best Tracy Lawrence Songs (2022 Updated)

Tracy Lawrence is one of my favorite country singers. This CD did Not disappoint me. It has All the great hits I love. So much so, I ordered one for a friend, who also loves Tracy Lawrence. I would recommend it to any Tracy Lawrence fan.

I really like this cd because these songs are great country songs. I do recommend this cd to anyone who likes country music. I give this cd a 5. 0 rating because the songs are easy to listen to. Thanks for mailing me this cd.

Bought this CD to see if I liked Tracey’s work. Some very good songs, but found it a little too ‘samey’ to my taste.

There is nothing like 90’s country. Tracy Lawrence was by far my favorite and reminds me of my childhood every time I hear him. His voice is so distinct! They don’t make country like this anymore!

Timeless classic. Listening to Tracy Lawrence brings back so many memories from my childhood. And this CD is a must have for anybody that grew up listening to country in the 80s and 90s.

This is a high quality music CD. I love Tracy Chapman music and this cd is folk/folk music at its best.

I bought this for my girlfriend who loves Tracy Chapman crazy – but who doesn’t? I plan to get all of Tracy’s albums, from most recent to earliest and of course, giving them as gifts to my girl is the smartest way to go.

I love this cd as it’s very easy listening. I have listened to Tracy Chapman for many, many years along with my family. All her songs tell a story about life and the world!!! Fab cd!!!

Those are the best classic songs that the whole family can enjoy on a road trips. I’d also recommend it to real old time truckers. I purchased this item for my dad for Christmas and he loves it. My dad was a trucker at one point and he loves this CD.

If you don’t own any Public Enemy albums then shame on you. Putting my petty predilections aside if you don’t own any Public Enemy albums and you want a good representation of what they were about then this is an excellent place to start.

I always say this when reviewing compilations but it’s true so I’ll say it again. You can argue about the track selection till the Police respond to a burglary call. It’s all purely subjective of course.

For instance why no “Shut Em Down” or “Night of the Living Bassheads”? , buts that just my opinion so overall I’d say a pretty good job has been done of selecting a salient representation of their body of work.

That said I’d prefer a more ambitious project stretching to a double album so to be sure it captures all the highlights from their incredible body of work though there are 18 tracks here so at this price it does serve as good value.

Chuck D is blessed with a voice that booms like a thunderclap using a loudhailer. Never bettered as a rapper, he exerts an authority and simmering anger with an edge of righteous zeal and magnetism that places him on a very high pedestal with other great front men.

(Plant, Lydon, Strummer, Mercury, Eitzel Coughlan spring to the front of my mind)Except of course he wasn’t the only front man in Public Enemy as Flavour Flav , despite his rather more frivolous persona proves he can live with the mighty Chuck D on tracks like the brilliant “911 Is A Joke”.

On their first four albums they harnessed their fury at social and political injustice to such an extent they were far more powerful than many a punk or speed metal band. Plus they had an articulacy that demanded attention.

Occasionally their affiliation to the Nation of Islam would lead to some less than perspicacious outbursts but when you’re driven by the kind of fury that drove this band on then it’s understandable.

The music incorporates, and I use that word advisably as they never rely on someone else’s music to dominate a song, samples to brilliant effect. Horns swirls like stainless steel dragon flies, colossal beats pound like truncheons in The Land of the Giants.

Shrapnel like shards of white hot guitars scythe around break beats that detonate like explosions in a quarry. More than many more acclaimed bands Public Enemy knew how to use the sonic potential of music to make their point.

Which of course when talking about oppression, social injustice and racism was invariably a point worth making. These things haven’t gone away. This is a timely release as maybe we need bands like Public Enemy now more than ever.

This CD promises to be a feel good look back at the hard rap of the late 80s. I saw them in concert and it only hurt those memories. it is not the songs, but the sound/production quality of this conglomeration of hits doesnt take you down memory lane very far.

You are better off buying the actual single record album releases. This album is public enemy #2. Save your money.

I got this for my son in law for Christmas. We love 2 fight the covid power that be!

If you like Blondie, you will love this. Every great commercial song of theirs that I could think of was there and a couple more. Quality production, which gave my new subwoofer a wonderful workout. Even has the bonus of having extended versions on a couple of tracks.

Good stuff.

Blondie was my favourite artist growing up and this album is a great nostalgic reminder of why I loved them and still do!

The case and CD were in excellent condition, and included all of their greatest hits.

This CD is an almost perfect selection. That is hard to say about anything. Martina McBride is an Excellent performer, as I have recently seen her in concert. She is highly observant, deeply thoughtful, and soulfull in music and lyrics.

I knew that when I purchased her greatest hits album, it would have to be somwhat close to her performances. I was not let down!.

You’ll enjoy every song as Tim McGraw enjoys performing them. A good variety of types of stories as diversified as he is.

This is one of the best greatest hits albums out today. Tim McGraw is approaching the level of George Strait and Alan Jackson with this quality of work. I particularly like the fact that song selections are from each of the last four albums and lean toward country more than pop.

Tim McGraw has a unique and pleasant voice, good material, and injects emotion in his work. This all adds up to enjoyable listening experience.

Ill just say, it could be that I’m complexly obsessed with this guy regardless, but this was buy far the best thing ive purchased all year. It was wonderful, the vocals were amazing, the description lists it as used but would never have known otherwise, it works looks and functions like brand new.

I’m in love. this is a must buy.

This cd never gets old. This is my second copy. I wore out the first. It’s great for cranking it up and driving. Some of the greatest songs Cher ever recorded are on this cd. If you’re remotely a fan.

This CD of Cher’s greatest from the 1970s & 1980s is a definite must-have for anyone who admires Sonny Bono’s one-time partner before going solo. Tunes like ‘Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves’, ‘Half-Breed’, ‘Take Me Home’, ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ are just a sample of the gems that can be found on this marvelous compilation that’s worth sharing your CD library with.

If you love the legend that was Bowie you will love this CD. Jumps across the decades with all his greatest hits and some real gems that never made the charts. Sing along at the top of your voice to that unique sound.

Bit of a strange collection of songs. All good but not the best selection in my view.

Pivotal point for Young showing him in reflection at a moment in fantasy about Judy Garland, whose performance in OZ my life centers around, was so blessed to have access to this come to me. So my opinion probably has nothing at all to do with where you are today, but sure was illuminating to me.

Owe so much to Neil Young. unbelievable pain he has endured to bring us his truth’s wrapt in mysticism.

The cd is not good he sounds flat to me not impressed with the voice.

We bought this CD set after falling in love with a Veggie Tales Silly Songs with Larry CD that we borrowed from the local public library. There are three CDs in this set that we really love and three that we don’t use at this point.

There is one Silly Songs with Larry disk, one Songs from the Shows (with a variety of beloved songs on it), and one Lullabies disk that we really do love. We have an 8 year old, a 6 year old, and a 10 month old baby, so the older two like the silly songs and baby loves the lullabies.

Other than that, the cds are just veggie tale character voices singing children’s songs that you would hear at VBS or church. There may come a day, when #3 is older that we use these CD’s as we did Little People cds when our older two were little, but they aren’t what I was hoping for with this set.

Neither was the lullabies, but since it has come in handy, it’s not that big a deal. I just had expected 150 songs from the shows. which there probably just aren’t that many in existence, so they added other kids songs.

I would have preferred a two disk set that only had the show songs rather than a 6 disk set that had things I wasn’t looking for and now have to store or get rid of.

Veggie tales songs are toes adorbs. With songs like Who Built The Ark, Where is My Hairbrush, and Waterbuffalo song your child’s. can’t afford to not love this alb. I highly recc. this set for kids and addy’s alike.

this is a great set for my daughter and I. I have a 6 disc changer in my vehicle so it works out great. the problems that i have are 1. some songs are on 2 discs 2. these are the “mellower” versions of the songs, we had a cd we lost and decided to get this as the replacement and a lot of the songs we know and love are not as fun on this set.

overall I am pleased.

A best of by Garth Brooks is a nice CD to have if you are a fan of his music. He had so many big songs during his career. This now out of print “Hits” collection had all of his early chart toppers and have enjoyed it very much.

The sound quality is good even though this compilation is now over 20 years old. A few years ago a 2 CD essential hits collection has been released with up to date remastering and twice the amount of songs.

Since this CD is now out of print I recommend the 2 CD set of his best hit songs which is still available !.

I initially bought this cd because my brother-in-law asked me to look for it for him on Ebay. I found several for great deals and ended up buying two, one for me and one for him. I am a white guy who listens to Rock n Roll, Rap, Metal, and Alternative Music.

My Brother-in-Law is what I would call a Metrosexual Mexican American who Listens to pop, latin, and other stuff. I was surprised when he asked me to buy this album, and after recieving his, I remembered how much I too Liked Garth Brooks and specifically the songs on this album and bought one for myself.

This album is a great slice of popular Garth tunes and some of them still give me chills(ie “the River”, & “the thunder rolls”). Even if you are a country music hater, like myself, you have to give credit to Garth Brooks and this album as he crosses the lines of typical country tunes and really connects with his listener on this album.

Sometimes, I personally resist pop culture due to the fact that “everybody likes it”, but with Garth and this album , you can’t go wrong. If you are familiar with even just one song on this album, it is worth it to own it for the rest to see what you are missing.

I played this album for my wife and she too now appreciates Garth Brooks and was pleasantly surprised by his music. He is the Michael Jordan of Country music. Even if you can’t stand the twangy guitars and cowboy hats, Garth seems to make it ok, at least while your listening to him and his interpretation.

I recommend this album to everyone.

Never bought this when it was first available when Garth was at his peak of popularity. I gave away my Garth CDs to a friend who is a REAL Country Music fan. I still wanted some of Garth’s music in my collection.

There is an Essential Collection containing 3 CD’s. It had so many songs I might as well kept the CDs I gave away. This CD is exactly what it says, THE HITS. It has the songs you would be skipping over other songs to get too all on one CD.

I liked several things about this movie. It’s wholesome and entertaining. Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore both did excellent. Hugh’s british accent and quips added to the enjoyment. I don’t know if the british accent is natural or done for this movie.

I particularly like how this movie brought out one of the truisms about artists, in this case song writers. Those who do it just for the money rarely succeed, and never see the money. Those who do it for the love of the art do succeed, and the money follows.

Drew’s character is a washed-up 80’s pop singer trying to survive 20 years after that fad died. He hasn’t had a hit song since his pop singing heyday, and now survives on cheesy gigs at high school reunions, amusement parks, etc.

Fortune finally smiles on him one day when a present-day pop star seeks him out because his group’s music helped her get through her parent’s divorce when she was 7 years old. Now she wants him to write a song that captures her feelings about her recent breakup with a boyfriend.

Having been a soul-less in-it-only-for-the-money performer, he totally lacks the feeling and passion to write such a song. Enter Drew’s character substituting for a friend as a plant waterer stopping by his apartment to water the plants.

While Drew’s character is working at the piano trying in vain to write the requested song, she causally comes up with a line or two that hit the mark and capture his attention. He quickly concludes she is a born lyricist, and prevails upon her to work with him on the song.

Over the course of it she impresses upon him the need to rise above his in-it-only-for-the-money attitude, and pursue the passion of the art. The ending is nice, so I won’t give it away. This DVD will get viewed several more times down the road.

In a nutshell, if you like light-hearted romantic comedies, 80’s music and are a Drew Barrymore fan you will probably really like this movie- as long as you don’t take it too seriously. read on. Hugh Grant plays a washed out member of an 80’s band who is given the opportunity to write a song for Cora, a current rock star.

The problem is that while he can compose the music for the new song, he can’t seem to write the lyrics. He meets Sophie, played by Barrymore, who has been hired to water his plants and discovers that she writes poetry.

Together they team up to write the song for Cora and of course, they fall in love along the way. The character of Sophie reflects Barrymore’s typical style of acting- she is unsure of herself, quirky and very likeable (if not a bit corny).

This makes the movie enjoyable. There are, however, a few things I did not like about this film. For one, Barrymore and Grant just didn’t have chemistry together on the screen. I found it difficult to believe that they were ACTUALLY in love with each other.

It just didn’t seem to work. Also, the movie contains A LOT of music/singing from Grant, Barrymore and the Cora character. Much of it sounds very 80’s. Although I am a big fan of 80’s music, it got OLD REALLY FAST.

I found myself just wishing that they’d just stop the singing and move on w/ the story. I also found it especially bothersome that while it appeared Barrymore and Grant actually sang SOME of the songs in the film it was VERY OBVIOUS that they were lipsyncing (SP?)others- including the song they wrote together.

This was disappointing. The voice that sang Grant’s part in the song they wrote together was VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT HIS VOICE. For me, these things – especially the lipsyncing- really overshadowed the enjoyable parts of the movie.

If you can manage not to get hung up on these things, however, you’ll probably have fun. **ALSO be sure to watch the 80’s pop up video that runs during the ending credits-it’s hilarious and provides nice clousre to the end of the storyline.

Unfortunately, there are few recent movies that I really enjoy. The last comedy I liked was “Groundhog Day”, so it’s very pleasing to find a movie that I wanted to own. I was surprised to like a film with Hugh Grant because I hadn’t cared too much for his previous performances but he is excellent in this.

He delivers endless hilarious lines so well and is very appealing in spite of portraying a character who is self-centered and egotistical. Drew Barrymore is very charming and there is definite chemistry.

I love the music. The casting is perfect. The story is well-crafted and the character development is interesting. You may not expect to like it but I recommend that you watch it. It’s a real treat!.

This book is set in a world unlike any other that I have read before. I’m a big fan of dystopian/fantasy worlds, but they can easily get repetitive at times. Not this book though – the ways that the monsters are created/why they are “born” as certain species/what their characteristics are – it’s just so different! Another plus is that there is no unnecessary romance in this book! I really enjoyed it, it was a thrilling time and the ending left me wanting more!.

I typically love all Victoria Schwab and I was only slightly disappointed. This savage song is an amazing new world with deep relatable characters. It just didn’t seem to have as much thought and amazingness as some of her other series.

I haven’t picked up the second book but I plan to when I have a chance.

This book is a fantastic fantasy YA novel, with little to no romance. It felt different than any other YA fantasy that I’ve read before, and I really enjoyed reading about both main characters. Can’t wait to read the second one!.

This guy has a great voice, te tracks are easy on the ear, the more obscure ones are just as good as the more popular hits.

You cant go wrong with Peter Cetera. The songs are great!!!

This CD is awesome. Every single song is an absolute chart breaker. If you are Billy Joel fan you probably have all of the songs on various CDs, but this one brings them all together one after another.

I used to have this album on cassette tape, so I was overjoyed when I found it available on CD. My daughter listens to it countless times a week – and even though she’s Burmese she sings along with the lyrics as if they are a part of her.

Tracy Chapman may have an idiosyncratic voice, but there’s no mistaking her songs – not just the ones covered by better known artistes, but the ones that have earned tremendous respect in the world of folk music, too.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, just buy it for yourself. I bet you’ll be singing along with it, too, just like my daughter.

A replacement for a copy bought on first release yonks ago ….. now badly scratched. Hearing it again like never before on a better sound system. Classic set from Tracy Chapman. Love it !!!

What a truly brilliant album this is. I hate the word awesome but I’m using it now because it describes perfectly the wonderful music produced here. There is not one track that isn’t great. Quite unique.

Absolute Brilliant artist, her voice is very distinctive, I would recommend her to anyone! She sings with such passion,it gives me tingles when she sings! Brilliant cd.

Excellent collection of her best. I usually don’t buy “the best of” compilations but noticed I did not have any of Chapman’s stuff and wanted to do something about it. After looking into it this Collection got the best marks.

A must have for the dire-hard Bruce fan for sure. It’s also a great option for the casual Bruce fan that has an interest in learning more about Bruce and his amazing catalog of songs.
