20 Best Traeger Grill Accessories (2022 Updated)

I bought 2 of these and am very impressed with the quality. They are very heavy duty with a brilliant orange color. Get them while they last these have been out for the last 2 years. Another hi quality product from Traeger!.

It’s solid and strong enough to last for many years. Beautiful addition to be under this wonderful grill to protect the floor and surroundings.

Colorful and sturdy. The perfect size for in front of the Traeger. It arrived quickly and well-packaged.

It could have been a five star if not the legs are falling off the hanger. Just like what @ed says on his review not unless you have a plier handy you are better off putting the legs on the grill. It is a great idea that needs a little tweak.

I’ve had one for years now. I love it I don’t only use it for just the drums only. It’s the best way to cook hindquarters. You know legs and thighs together. Lol there are right and left of course. I’ve cooked 10 at a time.

With one rack awesome awesome awesome. I go to a meat market that has big Hindquarters they hanging from the top and barely touch the grill try it you’ll love it.

I was given this rack as a gift, and the box said leg & wing rack. I think you have taken that “wing” description off the product title. Good idea. I make lots of wings on my Traeger, and was very happy to see a rack that would cook the wings evenly, on all sides.

It doesn’t work for wings at all or legs if there isn’t a lot of meat around the joint.

I used Stove & Grill Parts for Less this time because I was looking for a replacement cover for my Lil Tex Elite smoker that is now about 8 years old. It was easy to find on their website and the price was very reasonable.

In fact, I don’t think it has changed in the last couple of years. I was happy to receive it within a few days of ordering. I would definitely shop there again and highly recommend this website and company for specialty BBQ and smoker accessories and parts.

I’m not sure who decided to split the main grill grate into two separate halves, but it just doesn’t make any sense. I was expecting a complete cast iron replacement for the main grill grate, and then the porcelain grate to ADD as the upper level grate (that the grill doesn’t come with from factory).

Unfortunately, I still don’t have an upper grate, and the main grilling area is half cast iron, half porcelain, IN TWO SEPARATE PIECES, lol. Kinda ridiculous, but whatever. Ima use it because it’s my only option.

Think bigger Traeger, please.

A cast iron grate over the main grilling area is a smart idea. I own a competitors version and all of the grates are porcelain coated. The porcelain on the smaller grate over the pellet box has started to come off! It is because when subjected to very high heat the to dissimilar materials expand and contract at different rats.

This causes the stress cracks in the porcelain, resulting in it flaking off. To quote Elton Brown “this is jot good eats”!.

The cast iron portion of the grate is wonderful. It’s nice having half porcelain, half cast iron. The cast iron is high quality as well. If you take care of it, it will last forever

My barbecue is approx 12 years old and is stainless steel. What is not steel is the drip tray which is permanent or not removable. It appears that barbecue manufacturers realized a design flaw and now make them removable.

I looked at this product and saw a possible way of fixing an expensive barbecue for a very low price. This size fits perfectly. The only thing I did was to put a hole in the middle so the grease would go into the drip pan.

This worked perfectly and I have 5 to use. One may only be what I need. Great product.

We did get a lot of use from the tray that came with our Traeger, but eventually needed to get new drip trays. These are a bit pricey, but work well in keep your grill clean. Can be used several times (depending on how “messy” the food is that you are cooking).

But they are totally convenient and really help in keeping your Trager clean.

These pans save the grill from all the drippings and mess. Bought three packs and well worth it. Shipping was crazy tho, shipped separately in three big boxes with three separate ups deliveries.

I got one each for 2 son in laws (cookout competitors) 1 in NW Arkansas and other in KC,MO. My grandson in law in NW Ark as well. I gave them each a set of the Traeger bbq rib and chicken leg holder.

THEY LOVE THEM!!! EXCELLENT GIFT they all told me. Love using them even in the snow. So, I will be ordering one of each for myself, I am the cookout queen here in TN.

My husband and son loved this rib rack. We recently bought a Traegar and these worked great together. The ribs came out cooked to perfection with very little effort. You only check them a few times.

I like to cut my ribs in half and put them in the rack thick side up. The problem is there are only 5 slats for ribs. If you’re doing three full ribs you need 6 slats. The quality of the rack is good.

I just need one more slot.

Of course it fits perfectly and looks sharp, but don’t expect it to last forever. At this price, I would expect it to last longer. Last summer, I started to notice lots of tiny holes in the material – not just in the stitching.

Now it doesn’t keep my grill dry in the rain anymore. My backyard is heavily shaded, so I don’t know why this happened (it couldn’t have been from UV rays) but after a couple years it’s ready for a replacement.

I did leave it out one winter in PA, but if it’s supposed to withstand “all weather” sun or snow shouldn’t be a problem.

I bought this cover two weeks ago to go on my new 780 Pro. the cover fits nicely, looks great, but. it leaks. heavily. to the point that the grease bucket filled with water. and the entire grill was wet.

From my view, thw seams are poorly placed (riight at the top above the lid hinges) and that makes itbpossible for water to get through. AND IN my new grill. Very disappointed would be better off with a disposable tarp.

I always heard good things about it and so far it has worked amazing. Love everything about it. Our hamburgers taste so good and our steaks stay juicy. The pellets provide a great taste as well. I can’t wait to try the other functions.

Just writing this to make sure if this is a gift, pay for the added gift wrap. Ordered this for my husband for Christmas. I work night shift so sleep during the day and it arrived today with a huge TRAEGER label on the front and an invoice with what the product inside was and the price on the outside of the package! My husband was like “so.

thanks for this”. Christmas spoiled a bit, but it works great. Just be aware it may be worth the extra for gift wrap!.

Nice to have but not a necessity. I like being able to check the pellet level using the Traeger app. The app will also automatically alert you to low pellet levles. Installation is pretty easy.

Very easy to install and calibrate. Very happy with the new pellet sensor. Takes the guesswork out of how full the hopper is. Definitely recommend.

I needed this replacement cover. In the end, the cover was was perfect. However, the measurements listed for this were backward so I had to figure out they were wrong and still purchase the right size cover.

That was a hassle, and was guesswork I shouldn’t have to do.

This cover is fantastic, Has enough stretch to fit over the BBQ without the wind and rain to prevent any damage. You just need to wait until the Treager is cool yo put it over.

Easy to put on and off! Very well made and has a convenient pouch. I have yet to find something to put in it, but it’s always nice to have it as an option.

Ill give it one more try. Original one that came with my Traeger jr. lasted 6 years. I tried this one for half the price Traeger wanted online. But this replacement only lasted roughly 10 months. So Ill see maybe Ill get lucky this time.

If not Ill try Traegers for double the price. Maybe its a case of get what you pay for.

The hot rod worked great but unfortunately it was not the problem my problem was the control board. I will NEVER buy another Treager Grill, so far this is the second hot rod, and I also had to replace the auger motor, and control panel.

There are several other pellet grills available now that have better features and lower prices. You would think that when you spend $699 for a grill it would be a solid product but in my experience this was not the case.

This replacement Hot Rod is a perfect replacement for the burned out one on my Traeger smoker. Easyy repacement and it works without a hitche. Quick heat-up and good, clean pellet burn. This made my 5 yo Traeger work like it was brand new.

It’s ok. It will get the soft stuff pretty well. I like that it handles many grill spokes at a time which cuts down on the time spent. For tougher food, you’ll still need a metal grill cleaning accessory to scrape the hard or burnt-on food.

Spacing is perfect for the Treager grate, as you would expect it to be. Best used while grate is still hot. The wood does not scratch off ceramic coating on grates and does not remove seasoning. At first I thought it was a bit small, but after using it is easily maneuverable and not cumbersome as a larger one would be.

No more wire brushes on my grills!!.

Ironwood 885 is clean again. So much better than a brush. I don’t see why there are less than five star ratings. This tool is sweet. Thanks Traeger.

I called Stove and Grill Parts for Less because my husband was looking for this part of our Traeger grill. It is an older model and we couldn’t find this part anywhere. Stove and Grill popped up on my search.

We gave them a call, told them what we were looking for and THEY HAD THE PART!!! We received the part in a timely fashion and it took care of the problem. Since Traeger had discontinued the smoker, they no longer carried the parts.

If we have future needs, we will call Stove and Grill Parts!!!.

The controller in your pictures was Treager. The one you sent was not marked. The mounting holes were not big enough for easy screw clearance which will be fixed the next time I feel like removing the unit.

The added features are nice! The 375 degree setting wants to lag down around 360 degrees. I haven’t elected to purchase a replacement auger / burn air plenum assembly which has internal pitting after removal surgery on a Pellet auger stuck by water intrusion.

The pitting apparently causes some audible binding occasionally. The tube was cleaned up with an automotive brake hone. The auger motor and auger were replaced with new.

This has been working great as a drop in replacement for the original controller in a COM190 model. I originally bought two (one for each side) and they have been working great for 6 months, going 4-7 days a week.

I bought this third unit to have as a spare while troubleshooting a separate issue on one of my units. Very good upgrade that gives you the P button (I haven’t needed to adjust mine but it’s nice to have), shutdown setting and an on/off switch.

A must have for ANY Traeger!! This shelf was very easy to install with pre-drilled holes on the grill with special nuts installed as well! Very sturdy shelf that takes up little room when folded out of the way.

Wish it was included, but happy to buy one; and would recommend for anyone with a Traeger!.

Super pleased I was able to find both my 20 series and the shelf at Lowe’s. Great deals on both products and just when I thought I couldn’t track down this shelf it appeared. It is easy to install and super convenient to have on the front of the grill.

The shelf unit is well designed and is easy to use. Much better than other units I’ve looked at. It adapted very easily to my grill. It’s very well made and should last the life of my grill. I highly recommend it.

Ordered a Traeger Ironwood 650 cover. A little worried it wouldn’t be the real deal. It was! Order was filled and shipped the next day. Love the cover. I’ll check here first for any future grill accessory needs.

Very happy with the grill. I am still getting used to a whole new way of cooking though. Not being able to keep an eye on what I’m cooking is slightly throwing me off my game. But, I am coming around.

It does offer great flavor to your food.

Fantastic quality grill cover that keeps a protective barrier between your unit and the elements. We had rain the other day and the water beads up and easily rolls off. It’s a thick, heavy cover that’s really worth what you’re paying for it.

Some things you can opt not to pay for the name brand price, but this is definitely one that you’ll want.

I ordered this grill online from Bass Pro December 2020. It took forever to get here, understandably because it was during the height of Covid and with the holidays approaching. When it finally arrived it was warped horribly.

I tried to get Traeger to take it back because I live 80 miles from our nearest BP store. Traeger told me that I had to take it back to where I purchased it, and they wouldn’t exchange or give me a refund.

So, back to Bass Pro and the return lines were horrible an 1hr and 20 min wait. No Lie, it was horrible at the Rancho Cucamonga store. I finally received my money back and then shopped there for another grill which I purchased the Lodge, made in America, not China as the Traeger Grills are manufactured with no quality control.

Does exactly what it says on the packaging. Great size and works a treat.

The griddle is shaped like a banana out of the box. Im not the first person to have this problem. Ive seen other reviews with the same issue.

The tongs are great, but are actually a different style than the ones shown in the photo on HD website. For correct photo go to Traeger USA web page.

These Tongs are well made, sturdy, have a firm grip, are easy to clean and I love them. I threw my other pair of a different brand away because they had loose grip. This Traeger pair are superior to all others.

Perfect addition for our Traeger Scout. This cast iron griddle plate allows our Scout to be set up as a ready searing station beside our Timberline!

It has good quality and the shallow depth allows me to make smash burgers.

This spatula is heavy duty and radiates quality, as do all of the other utensils I have purchased from Traeger. Many times when buying from some companies you are never sure exactly what you are going to get for your money as far as materials, workmanship and utility.

The tools/utensils I bought which were nearly all they had available at the time for a Traeger 575 Pro Pellet Grill, and more as they become available online, were extreme high quality at a very fair price.

I would say buy without worry because money spent here appears to be money well spent. I will be buying more. I’m one of those guys that think if a few are good a bunch is probably a whole lot better.

I usually end up with everything, the dream client they don’t even have to sell because I want what they’ve got. Once I saw the Traeger quality I knew I had to have more. :).

I have been using this for about a year. It works wonderful flupping stuff on the traeger and my other grills. Last used it on the traeger to flip a grill full of country ribs. i’ve used it on our small grill when we are out in the RV and a couple of people have asked me where i got it.

Who cares if the leather string broke. Mine snapped too. Put a new hanger on it. Great tool.

Massive. Imagine a baby pizza peel made of steel. Definitely will work well for brisket and other large hunks of meat, crazy overkill for burgers. Seems like it will hold up well; however, the leather thongs for hanging these tools up (I bought the hook and the brush at the same time) are thin and very flimsy (the thong for the hook arrived broken).

Seems like Traeger would have provided a hanger that matched the heavy built quality of the tool itself.
