I love this product. For the price I received two of them and they are a much more effective deterrent for theft than traditional locks. The harder a thief has to work the more likely they are to look for an easier target and thats exactly what a puck lock provides.

If you value what is inside your trailer, you should have puck style locks.

These locks take care of several of the problems with traditional exposed shackle locks. They won’t spring open when hit with a hammer, or pop open when pried with a big crowbar and the thick chrome plating and solid monolithic block means some one has to cut through a lot of steel to get to the shackle.

Used in a weld on lockbox, this is as close to a perfect lock as it gets for keeping the honest person honest and the lazy criminal on the move looking for easier targets. Multiple locks keyed alike allow for a lighter keyring and less confusion about whick key for this lock? questions.

Shipped Fast. Worked well for replacement on Jayco Jayfeather Camper. The only problem was this replacement came with no directions on installation or how to get part unconnected for installation. Spring popped out trying to take apart to Install but was able to thankfully get back together.

Locks worked well after successfull installation.

Replaced lock from a break-in. Easy to do. One thing – the old striker plate fit as the new striker plate was a bit different than the old one. I simply used the old one which was not substantially damaged.

Has a little best doors on the key holes. Have a heck of a time getting them to slide open you try to put the key in. He feels very sloppy and lock. Does seem to work okay though.

While this lock was easy enough to install, the locking mechanism (as many previous reviews stated) just doesn’t do what it is meant to do. There is a lot of wiggling the key to either lock or unlock and when you are standing in the rain, fighting with the lock trying to get back into your pop-up, is not my idea of a good time.

Have to do some modification but looks awesome

The sliding door latch is not removable. A common failure of the latch is the sliding latch itself. You suddenly cannot open the door and a takes hours to diagnose, lots of tools and needing to destroy the lock to get the door open.

You are required to buy a very expensive replacement that may have the same problem some day. I hope it does not happen to you in an emergency. When you get the “gold plated” replacement they have not updated the design to make it more repairable.

Once installed I could not get the door to close and since you cannot see why you have to guess. I guess I am getting a bit slow because all the online help was useless and I kept making the wrong guesses.

It turns out the pins that provide the rigidity of the door were oversized. They did provide the strike plate to match the pins and the only way to install it is to remove the door frame. So I replaced the pons from my old lock.

All of that could have been explained in an instruction sheet that was not sent.

Horrible quality! Do NOT buy if you full-time. Mine broke w/in a 6-8mo time of use then Camping World said they had no other replacements so I’d have to buy the same cheap one again. The service representative did say my issue was a very common thing and the company should try to refund me.

He sent an email but I never heard back. I never followed up either. Wishing another 6 month period the second lock broke(mind you I paid over $200 to replace the first one) but I was still able to rig things to survive w/a single lock.

Now after a few more months the handle pin is falling out and I’m often locked in the RV until I can find a leather man and a lot of strength to put the pin back in place. Doable but a fire hazard. TriMark doesn’t care and Camping World doesn’t seem to now either.

Waste of money. Go find a better one on Amazon!.

Perfect fit for our 2015 Thor Palazzo with main door behind the front wheels. The original was the pot metal slider that of course broke exactly as designed. I would be interested to know how much the steel latch pin in this replacement really added to the overall cost of the latch.

Surely not more than a $1 It’s always interesting to see where manufactures decide it’s a good idea to use inferior materials. How about on a door latch that when it breaks leaves the owner either stranded inside or outside of the coach with no possible way to gain access short of crawling through a window.

Anyway this latch went on in a just a few minutes and I didn’t even have to replace the strike piece that everyone seems to have issues with. Mine worked fine with this new latch. Hopefully this one holds up better than the original.

I ordered these locks for my homesteader enclosed cargo trailer. Before ordering I contacted Blaylock to make sure they would fit the hasp on my trailer. They told me it would work so I ordered them from this seller.

When I received them I went to install them on my trailer but they didn’t fit. The pin path seems to be to deep into the lock housing. So I contacted Blaylock and they told me they had some out of spec batches from a while back and these could have been a part of those batches.

I sent them back to Blaylock and they sent me out a replacement set. The replacement set didn’t fit either plus the over all quality was terrible to say the least. The fit and finish on both sets were also terrible.

They had tool marks, loose shavings hanging off everywhere and lots of casting errors. Again they also don’t fit. I really like the idea of these locks and if they worked they would have been my new go to.

Now I have two locks that don’t work and I’m out almost $100. My guess is you will have a 50/50 chance of them working with your trailer. I have a youtube and plan on making a very detailed video showing the flaws of this design.

Please learn from my experience. Don’t buy these locks!.

Fast delivery, would buy again. Lock seems to be strong, time and burglars will tell I guess. This covers the tabs a padlock goes thru, someone recently cut my door tab to see a empty trailer and steal my spare tire.

I replaced the tab and now have this lock in place.

They are a nice theft deterrent. Like the old saying goes, a lock only keeps an honest person out, but I think these would give the average thief a challenge. Don’t think they could be opened with bolt cutters.

Motor overheated on newly purchased used boat. Obvious pump issue. After a bit of research settled on this, but skeptical. Kit comes with pieces we didn’t need, but had all the parts for a COMPLETE pump assembly replacement.

Replacing this was the easy part, getting the lower unit on, well, different story. BUT, the water pressure is way up and no overheat, so very pleased. Overall very pleased it worked as advertised, and does what it is supposed to.

We’ll see how long it lasts, but for the price compared to shops, it was a steal. I’m warming up to Sierra products after this purchase, well done Home Essentials Direct.

I bought these to replace the storage compartment locks that came on my 2016 RV. It came with the locks that nearly every RV is supplied with and nearly Key in the US will open. These keys are different so that is the good part and they also lock easily.

The bad part is they dont seem to be put together as well as the original locks. Seems to be more play in them. If I had to do it over, Id probably spend more money and get a more quality product. These work, they do the job, just not impressed with the quality.

I bought these locks for the storage compartment doors on my rv. The previous owner of my rv lost the key for the compartments. I needed 3, so I have an extra. These were a direct replacement to the original cylinders, and installed easily.

Comes with 2 different sets of lock tabs that should work for most applications. You can bend the tabs slightly to tighten or loosen the fit to get it perfect. Cost far less then a locksmith and only took a few minutes per door to change them.

I bought 2 of these locks and took ONE trip in the winter with them on the trailer. When I arrived at my destination I had trouble unlocking one of them. After the trip was completed I couldn’t get on of them off.

Finally after using wd-40 and waiting a bit it unlocked. I found the mechanism was completely rusted on the inside to the point of being unusable. Just like in the photo the other reviewer posted. These locks are junk.

These are awesome! Replaced my three Master locks, with a 2 inch shank. Which was a vulnerable point in securing my enclosed trailer. These have no shank, which means, a thief would need to be creative in busting the locks.

High quality chrome finish, and came with 9 keys, all keyed the same.

Fits. Works well. But the part that goes inside is plastic. You can get one way cheaper that are all metal that’ll probably last longer and come with 4 keys that are way better quality. It does work pretty well though.

These locks are very good quality and the price was great. They were very easy to install and only took about 10 minutes start to finish.

This lock was stickey from the start. The key would hang up in the slot and only work after some jiggling. Lubrication did not seem to helpl The black inside handle is plastic and does not seem sturdy enough.

I returned the lock for a refund and bought the Fastec lock instead. It works much better and has a metal handle on the inside.

The locating pins were non adjustable and the pins rubbed on the latch plate, had to grind the pins down.

Purchased this about 2 months ago since then it has rusted up become so hard to open to the point where I’ve had to lube it a lot just to try to get it to move which it work for about a day and tonight the key broke off inside of it while trying to turn it.

I purchased this for my enclosed trailer because it seems pretty tamper-proof, which is a great thing except when the key is broken off inside of it and you can not open your trailer. The description uses terms like weatherproof with no Springs to rust or Jam, and corrosion resistant.

Although it may be true that there are no Springs, but the whole locking mechanism rusted and jammed. Stay away, stay far away. There are plenty of other Pucklocks out there, not sure if they’re any better haven’t tried them, but this one is trash.

Some people have had trouble with these locks. Im still holding my doubts, but so far so good. After reading reviews about these locks rusting, i rubbed oil all over the locking pin and inside. There is a small allen head screw to keep the locking pin from coming a the way out.

I put some lock tite on the threads to make sure it cannot vibtate out while hauling the trailer. So its been several months now and its only slightly rusted and havent ouled since i opened the packed and first used them.

They are easy to re-key if you know to place the pins inside. I bought ywo seperate locks and just re-keyed them to the same key since the only other option to have the same key for two locks requires tou to buy a three pack of locks for some reason.

I should mention, i live about 60 miles north of the gulf coast and work at the beach often with my to trailer so if mine were prone to rust, they would be pretty bad by now. Just keep them oiled, put some lock tite on the screw for the lockong pin and they should work pretty well for you.

Seems like a very solid lock. Don’t know how pick proof it is. Paired up with the Blaylock T33 seems like a really formidable setup, something that only a angle grinder could defeat, for a reasonable (but not cheap cheap) cost.

Additionally, added a washer on each side to take any slack out of the pin. Also added a piece of 3/4″ steel pipe in the middle. Between the washers and pipe it takes away any gap so a hacksaw blade can’t get on the pin and strengthens the whole set up.

Admittedly this is a ubiquitous item that is installed on probably millions of boats around the world. The fact that I found 2-3 copies of the aluminum piece it ships with, tells me that the previous owner may have installed a few himself.

Tip: Do not get lazy and leave the key in the latch. It will be begging to get snapped off in the lock if you do. This is the reason I needed to replace it when I took ownership of this boat recently.

I’m giving it 5-stars because it is exactly the replacement part that I needed and it fit perfectly. Installs in seconds if it’s a replacement, otherwise would take some notching of the door to fit it properly.

Product was as advertised and replacing the original broken lock was a simple install. Care must be given when engaging lock as plastic gears break easily.

This is a nice lock and handle but comes with no directions, be prepared to spend some time , lots of time actually if installing in door that is a totally new install and not a replacement. Take your time and it will be great, rush it and you will be disappointment.

We lost our old keys and replaced the locks with these. Perfect fit for our RV and a better finish than the factory ones.

Have bought several of these just to keep people honest. It is what it is, a deterrent. I lost the keys to one of them once, took my Dewalt grinder with cutoff disk to it and was able to cut through it in 2 minutes.

Assuming that a thief could do that as well in the middle of the night, but would cause alot of noise. I would think this in combination with other deterrents like a ball lock, heavy duty chain with lock around the rims to a post in concrete, would be best to deter a thief.

The combination of multiple deterrents would take Too much time and energy and noise to cut everything and a chance of getting caught.

I think these might be the best coupler locks made in terms of design. I wish they made them higher quality though. Maybe Boron. The one I had broke in the key area somehow, no idea how, to where I could no longer insert the key at all.

And it wasnt due to rust or stuck pins. I still liked it so much I bought 2 more for my other trailers. I will say, you need to measure the size you need because it was a very tight fit so it wouldnt always lock unless I squeezed it together.

But thats what you want! A thief cant get a saw blade in there to cut it off.

Have no idea why the review page asks to rate the sheerness and thickness of this lock. In any case, it is not really well made, constantly requires the key to be in the lock to be closed over your hitch.

Perhaps that’s a safety feature so that you don’t lock your hitch without the key, but quite annoying to fumble with the keys every time you touch the lock. The “rubber” weather seal that is supposed to cover the lock opening falls off every time you try to open the seal.

If it does not get lost, I doubt it will actually prevent weather from getting into the lock. I would not recommend buying this lock.

This is a well made security hasp. The mounting screw heads are hidden by the device and can only be accessed when the hasp is unlocked. The hinges in the hasp are forgiving so that if you misalign it a little during installation, it will still work.

Combine it with a good quality hardened steel padlock, and you have excellent security.

I bought this to secure a roll up door on a cube truck while it is docked and an adjustable dock is down on the truck. The adjustable dock prevents the doors original lock from being used and I carry cargo that needs secured by contract when Im away from the truck.

This lock works perfect for this and swings clear out of the way when not in use and adjusts to the difference between surfaces. It is durable, functional and well made. I highly recommend it for lock uneven surfaces together.

Very good quality with parts that move smoothly. Very strong. Successful installation requires the hasp to fall squarely on the eye. This might be the only solution in some situations but alignment can be tricky.

They work, but the keyhole has no inner flap to block the opening. So water and crud can get into the lock. I suspect I might get two seasons out of these.

This is just a standard generic RV lock that if you are replacing and want to keep the standard CH751. Do not buy if you think the key will be one of a kind.

Item shows coming with both types of cam arms but only came with straight one. Also very low quality lock body that totally fell apart when I removed the screw to install the cam. ( which wasn’t the one I needed ).

Great solid middle of the road puck lock! Had a customer just last week Instagram that the Trimax puck lock on one of our Ft. Knox Locks was attacked drilled and hammered and was not defeated. Milton Odom Ft.

These locks far exceeded what was expecting to receive. Quality is great and easy to use, ooh, and they look fantastic. This brand is the highest quality of locks that I have ever bought and I have owned several trailers, all needing a sturdy exceptional lock, so they will be the first on my list next time.

Great locks, much better than regular pad locks. Easy on and off and seems to offer much better protection. I’m really happy with the locks, wish I would have gotten them sooner.
