This looks like a new listing, but I did purchase a SYNC off these guys last month and I absolutely love it. I bought one of their other personal trackers earlier this year, the 54, and it led me to this one.

What’s great about this device is I literally plugged it in and walked away. Since I installed it last month, I haven’t had the need to touch it once, however I use the app daily. The notifications are an amazing feature.

Last week, for example, I got an alert on my phone stating “excessive braking”. my fiance was driving the car so I gave her a call to make sure she was alright. Sure enough, there was a backup on the highway and she had to slam on her brakes.

Another instance happened just last night (which led me to leaving this review) – I received a vehicle malfunction alert on my phone. It turns out our oil change was WELL overdue, so I took the car into the shop and had that taken care of immediately.

Really, I just think this device is so cool. The alerts, vehicle malfunction notifications, the GPS monitoring, and not to mention my car insurance savings. Nifty device and I’m so glad I got it. I own a small business and I am considering purchasing for our entire fleet!.

We purchased a tracker for our younger son as well as the Sync for our teen driver. When it comes to family, you really can’t be too careful. In short, this device is fantastic for tracking vehicles.

It’s accurate, has a variety of handy alerts (speeding / accelerating, impact alerts, vehicle malfunction alerts, device unplugged alerts (caught him once ;)). The driver behavior reporting is great – we sit down with our son once a week and review his driving habits and coach him on how to be a safer driver.

What I love most, this isn’t something I need to keep charging. I plugged it into the car once and I haven’t had to touch it since! I think every new teen driver should have one of these in there car.

The device has a very strong magnet and a rubber to seal off charging port making it water/splash proof when you attach the device to the outside of a moving vehicle. The downside is that it provides real time data and very limited historic data.

The historic data does not have a time stamp on the point. So you know the ‘where’ but the ‘when’ when looking back a day is unclear. Took stars off for that. If they update it, and the history is time stamped, I will revise my review.

Another feature I like is the Fence. When the device is stationary, you can put a fence around it and when the device leaves the fence, you get notified. Lights can be turned on and off to be more discreet.

I gave only 3 stars because while it does give the correct street name, still the number address is always WAY OFF. like, you can be parked INSIDE the house and it still says you’re like 5 or 6 houses down.

but most importantly, the BATTERY DOES NOT LAST AT ALL! I got this for my boyfriends car and am doing it discreetly but its EXTREMELY DIFFICULT WHEN I KEEP. ON. HAVING TO GO BACK N RETRIEVE IT AND CHARGE IT! ITS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.

ALSO, WHEN HES HOME ID LIKE TO SWITCH IT TO EVERY 4 OR 6 HOURS BUT WHEN U SWITCH IT BACK TO EVERY MINUTE- IT STILL HAS TO WAIT 6 MORE HOURS FROM THE TIME U SWITCH IT!.

At first I must admit I was skeptical!. I’ve purchased so-called trackers several times before. However, after the initial setup, which was easy and I do mean VERY easy (I’m no tech Guy, So If I Can Do It ANYONE Can Do It) once I was done it connected IMMEDIATELY with pinpoint accuracy!!! I was shocked and blown away! and very impressed! But of course being the skeptic that I am / WAS, I had to take it for a “test drive”.

And once again, shot and amazed I actually found something that REALLY works!!! I WILL be buying a FEW MORE for the several vehicles of the family! Thank you LandAirSea, I am a HAPPY CUSTOMER!.

I have version 7. 0. One would think that the browser based user experience (UX) would be at a much higher level and EVERY option clicked would actually work without producing an error. The street view doesn’t work.

The zoom level on the platforms Google map prohibits 15 zoom levels (you can only zoom to a 1-mile viewport on a standard 1080p monitor). The UX is simply awful. Completely non-intuitive. Don’t get me started on the Android mobile app.

It’s HORRIBLE! I used the web app 8 years ago. It’s nearly the same. It sucked then and it sucks now. Tech support takes 3 times to answer basic questions. With the longevity that this company has, it must be broke to not be able to afford better software and better service.

Hey CEO, raise your prices so you can hire better software developers and provide better service! We don’t want cheap, we want solid, good software and good support. The hardware seems good enough, that I’d pay nearly double for it in order to have better software, but the most import thing to solve is the crappy zoom level limits on your Google map.

Great product and as advertised. The battery life may or may not be as much as advertised but is most sufficient for my application. Lots of complaints in other reviews about battery life that I don’t understand for the most part.

I use my tracker for a kayak that I keep on a trailer and like using the Nano when traveling and with the kayak sitting on a trailer and the concern of being stolen. I charge my Nano frequently because it is possible and I want the most charge if the tracking need ever arises.

I look forward to the iPhone and iPad apps being more capable and that is my only dissatisfaction. This unit is also small and that might be the compromise in a shorter battery life. There are a couple of variables that enter into the amount of battery being used, this battery is most sufficient for me.

I get instant text messages and e-mails when my geofence is violated with an exit, very reliable. The phone support I got to help with the instructions and “how to” was much better during the week for some reason than when I made a call or two on a weekend.

The development of a geofence was quite easy.

I love this tracker! I am not good with technology but even I set it up and put it on my daughter’s car by myself. It even told me when she was speeding, naughty new driver! Now I will know where she is at all times! Everyone should get one for their teenage drivers or for a suspicious acting husbam, ha ha!.

A good GPS tracking device that works on the 4G network. It has all the necessary features and it works as described. Will work in Canada and Mexico as well. Comes with a case. Needs subscription but that can be canceled.

I’ve been looking for a more versatile tracker and this one fits the bill. The fact that this uses a combination of GPS, cellular, wifi, AND bluetooth for tracking, makes this tracker extremely versatile with how you can use it as well as its accuracy.

For the use case of keeping track of a pet I think that’s well worth it. Also, at just $29 for the tracker itself, that’s actually not a bad monthly price to pay considering the device itself it rather inexpensive.

I was pretty excited about the ability to be able to locate my tracker (which I’ve hidden in my motorcycle). I used to have a tracker that would alert me if the tracker left my address, but unfortunately that product has been discontinued and have been looking for something else ever since.

The cube tracker seemed to fit my requirements, in which you can create a “Safe Place” (which I created work/home) to alert me when it leaves. However, it does not seem to be consistent. According to the app itself, the Safe Place when connected to the wifi puts the tracker in power saving mode.

I also setup a virtual fence at both my home and office (as i did w/previous tracker) to alert me anytime it leaves (and enters). In theory, this is excellent, and what I wanted to do is essentially have a GPS tracker which is an alarm, to let me know the minute it leaves my home/work while I’m not on it.

In usage though, it doesn’t seem to alert me enough – i had a friend take the GPS with them and walk outside of the 200M virtual fence, but it didn’t seem to work unless I had the app open, which is not great, and I’ve set the intervals to 1 minute, so I should’ve been alerted immediately.

It does do a good job of tracking though. Since it’s in my bike, I do randomly drive and take random streets as I love riding, and my weekend trip was very well tracked on the GPS, but that is my secondary want.

The primary reason is to make sure I am notified as soon as my bike leaves! It is great to look back on my driving route on my longer drivers, which I have been missing as I haven’t had a tracker in 2 years.

Often, throughout the day, I get a notification that the bike has entered the virtual fence, even though it’s been sitting there all day. Apparently the bluetooth connection sometimes gets disconnected, and I think it has to do if I’m overtaxing the bluetooth on my phone, so that is not really a Cube Tracker problem but just a general bluetooth power issue.

The alerts are lacking, the app has 5 different RingTones, but all of them seem the same and not distinguishable enough. I stopped allowing me to even sample the the ring tones after the first day, but that doesn’t matter – if you have an Apple Watch paired with the Iphone, it will just use a standard alert and it doesn’t sound unique.

Not sure who can fix that – apps like this should be allowed to NOT go to the watch and force a specific ring on your iphone (especially if you’re using Virtual fence/Safe Place). If you can’t tell that your cube is alerting you in a distinctive way, then there is no point in using it! I will still use it until I find something better, but the alert system / sounds are lacking and if it is the middle of the night and someone stole your bike – you would not know until you wake up.

What I like the most about this GPS tracker is its convenience to be placed anywhere. Its small, solid, long lasting Battery (specs states from 10-60 days depending on the configuration), can be discretely placed in the car or any other place you want it.

You can carry with you, in case you are in a country where you don’t feel safe, you can put in your bag while you are traveling in case you are not feeling confident with the airline baggage service, so the GPS coverage is worldwide, or you can attach it to your pet while you are walking and have peace of mind if he got lost.

But basically if your car is stolen, this is the device you want to locate it. It is very accurate, and because it has its own battery, it doesn’t mater if the thieves disconnect the Battery of the vehicle, whenever is hidden the Tracker it it will continue providing the location.

You can hardwire in the car with the USB-micro USB cable that comes with the device, and then look for the way to hide it in the car, so it will not run off battery. The setup is pretty simple, just follow the instructions, first you install the Cube Tracker app, this can be found either Apple Store or Google Play.

Create an account. It is going to ask you the payment method. $16. 50 is reasonable, I am paying the same amount for the Kahu lojack GPS tracker service, I have installed in my car, and doesn’t have the advantage that this Cube tracker offers, where I can use it anywhere.

Besides, the monthly data plan doesn’t have a fee for cancelling or restart the service, which is very convenient. Then, you have to give it permission locations all the time, press and hold until it beeps the button to pair it via Bluetooth with the app, and finally add the serial number of the device and that is all.

One cool thing I noticed is that the app comes with the option to make it ring, in case you are looking for it. The app offers some other options, like create a virtual fence, so if the vehicle left the boundaries you have set up, the app will alert you, SOS Button so you can send a prerecorded text message along with your location to your family and friends.

I think this is a very convenient, Multipurpose and affordable device that will give you peace of mind.

Having all kinds of technical issues that maybe very easy to solve; however, company’s tech support is voice mail that claim they will get back to you but never does. I rate it less than fair. I wish you will give me my money back or exchange for a different tracking device.

I spent about a year trying to make the Spot Trace work as an anti-theft device on my 40 foot sailboat. Granted, the device is easy to set up and install – I installed it close to the engine and got it with the 12 volt cable so I could hook it up to the boat and not worry about changing the batteries.

Unfortunately the Spot Trace does not detect movement very well, not to say at all. I have sailed for days without this thing tracking. I’ve had things fall on the floor in the cabin and people get seasick without the Spot noticing movement and I’ve motored for hours without the device tracking.

I’ve even brought it to shore in my pocket on shopping trips. No tracking. I could make it track by turning it off and back on after I started sailing, but I’m afraid even the most considerate pirate would not be that helpful.

The Spot support crew have tried different solutions. They replaced the device itself, we tried installing different versions of the firmware, we tried installing a special super-sensitive vibration sensing firmware tweak, but nothing could help it detect movement and start tracking unless I REALLY shook the device around.

After almost a year a nice lady in support took pity on me and went off script: “Well, we’ve had some problems with this device on sailboats”. Thank you, that is very helpful to know instead of just letting me waste my time for a year.

I wanted my money back since the device does not work as advertised but Spot argued that the device actually tracked from time to time, so they wouldn’t make a refund. I argued that it was like having a house alarm with a movement sensor that only detected Halloween Parties and claiming that it worked.

They said they’d refund me $50 as a good-faith gesture. The money never showed up on my card though and this is pretty typical for the Spot support experience. They are happy to suggest solutions while on the phone but once the call is over I will have to call them back about any promises they made.

for instance, it took 3 or 4 calls over a month or so to push them through the process of sending me a replacement device. The Spot Trace might work in a car or a trailer, or on a high-speed water craft, but personally I wouldn’t trust it to and since Spot support seems to consider the device more of a toy than a safety device, I would look for a company with a more professional approach.

Easy to setup Don’t forget to check for updates like your phone when you buy an unit I called support because I was not able to get it going and did the updates with support: knowledgeable and friendly.

Bought it because of « boat motion » option. Tested it last weekend by actually taking the unit in my hand walk away from boat with and got email notice. What’s left to test: longevity of batteries and how it reacts when it’s cold.

Good value product. Many more configurations than other trackers. Configure via usb or bluetooth is great. With the software it is easy. Using it with a traccar server A firmware update must be requested by mail.

It is not available without thiseven though it says on the description over the air update.

Amazing! Every 5 seconds and 10 degrees is real. It does not lose any location or point. No jump from one point to another. No errors above 2-3 m are observed. I am very satisfied with this product.

Really good bit off kit, app is good. When its working! Last few months seems to be down a lot!

Ich bin beeindruckt von der Benutzerfreundlichkeit des funktionsreichen Finder-Portals. Ein groer Plus ist das man die Tracks einfach in verschiedenen Formaten exportieren kann. Das Nutzen des Portals kostet Geld, aber der Preis ist angemessen (5 EUR/Monat) fr was man bekommt und es gibt Rabatt wenn man ein 1-Jahr-Abonnement macht (49,99 EUR/Jahr).

Das Gert hat Alarmfunktion bei Erschtterung, was ein guter Zusatz zur in meinem Auto eingebauten Diebstahlwarnanlage ist, weil die Letzte nur ber einen Raumsensor verfgt. Ich finde aber, dass die Sensitivitt des Erschtterungssensors hher sein knnte (in meinen Testen war normales ffnen oder Schliessen der Autotren nicht genug um einen Alarm auszulsen, man musste aggressiver vorgehen).

Das hngt aber vielleicht vom Platz im Auto, wo man den Tracker steckt.

Der Tracker funktioniert einwandfrei und genau mit der SIM Karte ist die bertragung wirklich Top. Ich bekomme alles direkt gemeldet und kann das Signal sogar mit meinem Kunden teilen. Es lassen sich viele Optionen einschalten die wirklich sinnvoll sind.

Alles lsst sich einfach und intuitiv bedienen. Der Akku hlt wirklich was er verspricht und hlt gut 2 Wochen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Tracker und kann Ihn wirklich nur weiter empfehlen. Ich werde auch zuknftig weitere Module einsetzen und nutzen.

Denn hier bekommt man sehr viel fr kleines Geld! 1A Empfehlung!!!.

Das Gert spricht auf mehrere Varianten, wie Geschwindigkeit, Entfernung aus dem Bereich oder Erschtterung an und meldet dies.

Smtliche Informationen kann man ber die kostenfreie APP problemlos auf Tablet oder/und Handy bzw. PC installieren und nutzen. Auch der Akku hlt was er verspricht und muss nicht stndig geladen werden.

Alles in Allem bin ich sowohl mit dem Kauf als auch mit dem Gert selbst zufrieden. Das Gert kann ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

I ordered my unit on a Tuesday. It originally said I would get it by Fri or Mon the following wweek. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually arrived 2 days later. Installing the unit was pretty simple, but I know my way around basic car installations.

Activated the unit online and within, I think 2 hours, it was all set. It does exactly what it says it does. Still playing around with the different features on their website, but overall pretty satisfied with my purchase.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to track my teen’s driving so I went with the Livewire GPS + LTE system. It was very easy to install and tracks vehicle using a comprehensive web and / phone app.

I’ve had this installed in my daughter’s car for a few years now. A couple months ago she totaled her car and couldn’t tell me where she was. I was able to track her exact location using this! I had peace of mind using this before, but now you couldn’t pay me to disconnect it!.

No instruction book, package had been opened along the way. Installed it, set it up online, not at all what i thought it would be. Maybe im doing something wrong (probably due to NO INSTRUCTIONS), i was under the impression i could see where my car is NOW! I cant see where it is at any given time, upsetting, but once again, no book.

I purchased this tracking device for use in my teenage son’s car based on a recommendation from a friend who has one. I am very pleased with the app tracking, route replay feature, and email reports that I receive.

I haven’t explored the geo-fencing feature yet but plan to do so soon.

If you connect them to the car before activating them on the website they do not work, they do not send the signal. You have to activate them first before placing them in the car and then, 2 or 3 times connect and disconnect them to make them appear on the website.

The application has to be logged in and out and then logged in again to get the app to work.

I have ONE tracker that worked perfectly for November and a couple weeks into Dec. I had my mechanic that installed ALL the trackers unplugged and replug in the tracker. He reported that the lights all lite up correctly.

That tracker worked for a few hours. Has not worked since. Even had my mechanic test it AGAIN. Nothing at all this time. The tracker I am referring to is #33327947 Please contact me to resolve this issue.

We purchased the tracker to watch dad on his travels. He goes 2 miles each day to visit mom in the senior center and occasionally elsewhere. A few times he has gotten lost and the tracker leads us right to him via our phone app.

This is a great product from a company who looks after the customers. Excellent value for money. I have these on all of my own cars and family have started fitting them to there’s. I have had no problems so far, easy to communicate with the company and the app is very user friendly with so many features included.

This gives peace of mind. (Yes you have seen this review before) But I keep ordering them for my cars, friends & family members vehicles and also customers cars. The best product on the market for the money.

What a great bit of kit. Easy to install and set up. App works seamlessly. Location is spot on. This is a must for a motorcycle. I cant show a screenshot because I have hidden the unit in the frame Tried it yesterday, got a friend to hide the bike.

I used the get directions to unit feature and went straight to it. Definitely good value also it doesnt drain the battery. A++++++.

After reading reviews of many types of tracker, I went for this one. I chose it because I don’t have to mess about topping up SIM cards, that I know I’ll forget to do! I tried it out initially in my wife’s car and was impressed enough to buy another for mine.

Fitting couldn’t be easier, I found a permanent live under the dashboard and spliced into that wire. After connecting up the earth, that’s it and it’s ready to go. The set up using the bar code is a very simple affair and the software setup and navigation is easy and good to use.

The trackers on both cars are very accurate and give precise map positions and you can see a full history of where the vehicle has been at a any time. Of course, trackers can be found and disabled, but hopefully this is just another layer of security that makes that bit more difficult for car thieves to get away with my vehicles.

For a fiver a month, that extra peace of mind is worth every penny.
