20 Best Trailer Leveling Blocks (2022 Updated)

I am equipping an enclosed trailer l had built and had to use one of the tire levelers. It worked like a charm. I’m very happy l purchased these leveling devices.

This is not for my 26 ft. RV. It cracked one of the levelers. Waste of money.

I use these under our scissor stabilizers and under the tongue jack and I recommend them for this use. For this application, I prefer them to wooden boards because these blocks are lighter and are easier to clean than wood.

I also really like the storage / carrying case. What I discovered is that the more I have to extend the stabilizer and tongue jacks, the more the trailer rocks. By using these blocks under the jacks, I reduce the amount the jacks have to be extended and thus also reduce the amount of rocking as we move around the trailer.

The blocks also increase the amount of surface area under the jacks which helps prevent them from sinking into soft / wet ground. I had very high expectations when i saw these blocks. I’d read other reviews that spoke very highly of their use. The first attempt making use of them required a 2†lift on one side of my camper. I put them together noticing as i did how poorly they went together.

They didn’t hold together at all. They came apart just trying to move them in line with the tire i intended to use them under. After putting them back together in line with the tire, i began to pull the trailer onto the blocks.

The first one flipped up, throwing the others out of place. I also noticed that the first one had already cracked in a couple places. I finally got the side of the camper raised correctly. Subsequent attempts at using the blocks had the same results.

It seems to me that the blocks should have locked together somehow to make them function better. Very disappointed.

No issues with these, even though ours are a few years old now they are still in perfect original condition. Always useful of course as a side to side leveling device with your wheels, but we have ours typically for use with our corner stabilizers.

The less we can extend the stabilizers overall the sturdier less shakey feel we achieve with our setup when camping. I like to have 5 under each stabilizer when possible. These are lightweight, easy to use, and bag up quickly and cleanly for storage later.

It’s one of the first items I recommend most any RV Owners purchase.

I’ve only used these once, but they seem to hold up just fine. I love the design of them and the quantity. It’s also a plus that they come with a carrying bag so I don’t have to worry about getting anything dirty when I pack them away.

Have had these in the travel trailer (~3000lb dry weight, single axle) for a several years now, and fortunately have not needed them often. Recently used them on a camping trip where the site was slightly uneven.

They were a very quick and easy means to level the trailer (required three of the four blocks). Simple to handle and easy to stack to find a good level. Was also able to place wheel chocks around the tire while using them.

Trailer was level in just a few minutes, and no issue during the time we were on the site or on packing up! Handy storage case.

Nice and light for easy travel. Always thinking about every pound because it all adds up when trailering. These work ok on hard, flat surfaces. Not good for rocky or soft surfaces. Can actually damage them.

Cut a couple of 2×6’s or 8’s and chamfer the ends – they will last forever.

We used these under the levelers for our Class A motorhome. The smashed one was on the low side, so had more weight on it. The other one was on the high side, so had less weight on it. If you’re planning to use these under levelers, forget it!.

I bought these to raise my car’s included jack. I lifted my car some and have larger tires on it and realized my jack would no longer reach the car enough to get it high enough to change a tire. So I bought these to make up the difference.

I know, they say not to stack them, but when I tested them out (all 4 I bought), it was super stable. I was not concerned at all. And I can’t see any way they would slide at all unless I were on a pretty serious incline.

I imagine most people are using these for RVs, and I can’t speak to that, but they work great for what I bought them for. Definitely recommended.

I bought these not to use with the leveling blocks by camco to raise RV tires, but to provide a spread out surface for jack stands. The sharp edges on jack stands, and even the wheels/castors on jacks dig into my asphalt driveway.

Normally I use stacks of cardboard but over time thats just not enough due to the sharp edges/corners of my floor jacks (craftsman and Torin brands). The shapes dont match the layout of the jack stands, but once the jack stands are on them they stay put and distribute the weight load.

The price is right, if you want they are large enough to drive a tire up on them and there are other products from camco that they work with. Oh and they are well priced for a pair. The blocks themselves are pretty thick and mostly rigid, but have a bit of flex to them.

All in all Im pretty happy with the purchase and and wish I had gotten them sooner. I dont plan on getting any of the additional products and these on their own are enough for me. The flex seems to be rigid enough that you can use them safely on grass.

Definitely wish I had invested in these a while ago. My only gripe really is that I wish they werent as high. If I want my stands at the lowest setting they probably add at least an inch to the overall height.

Sure, you could use wood for this purpose, but then you’d have to coat it with waterproofing. In addition, wood in 2021 is almost as expensive as these pads. The pads appear to be durable, provide good cushioning, and have a wide footprint to provide stability in loose soil, or mud.

They are a bit heavy for their size, but overall I think these are a good choice.

This is the second set of raisers we have purchased because they are easy to use and can be configured to whatever level you need. We do not have auto level on our rv and these are easy to configure and easy to roll on or off the blocks This is a must for tandem wheels.

love these, they also work great for under the generator for air flow.

First of all, these blocks are exactly what I was looking for. Great construction, lightweight but extremely durable design. It comes with a soft carrying case for easy storage. I bought two of these since I have a double axel 38ft Keystone Carbon Toy Hauler fifth wheel.

I have had trouble in the past with RVs and the tires being off the ground, which causes an increase of pressure on your leveling jacks and the ultimately, they start to leak hydraulic fluid due to seals busting, etc.

These jacks help you level and resolve this problem by keeping the pressure off of the leveling jacks. With my RV I have 6 leveling jacks and I needed two packs of this product to make sure I was completely level.

I also would like to mention I live in Colorado and have been in the situation more than once where the ground at the campsite was not level or it was just dirt. When the ground is to soft the jacks do not have a hard-enough surface to maintain the stability needed for the RV.

This product creates a sturdy enough platform on these soft surfaces for the RV to feel stable.

These are so useful for setting up our travel trailer. Easy to use and work very well to help level the trailer. Have only tried them on dry, hard surfaces yet. They come in a handy carry case.

Lynx RV leveling blocks are the best. We have had no problems with these blocks. We purchased these in addition to the original set we had when we purchased our RV. Highly recommend!

In theory they sound like a great product. Unfortunately our axles are too close together to get the levelers between the tires. There is nothing in their description of the product that mentions anything about minimum spacing between tires.

Spoke with the seller and I was told to cut them down so the will fit, he said that is what others have had to do. And it won’t void your warranty. Well I cut on them 2 times and they still won’t work and I feel if I keep cutting on them they will be worthless if you only need a 1″ or 1.

5″ rise. Now of course he is not willing to give a refund just a discount on future purchases. Andersen has just ignored my email. If in doubt buy the Comco version and save a few dollars as well.

The first time we used ours, one snapped in half. The husband was very resistant to using these, he preferred his method of using Jack’s and pieces of wood but we bought a new camper last September that has stabilizer bars so he decided to give them a try on a very unlevel site.

He’s now definitely not a fan.

These are great levelers. Yes they are expensive but no more guessing as to how many boards to put under the tires to level the trailer. They work best with two people one who can watch the bubble of the level and give direction to the driver as to how much further to move the trailer.

It will be just a matter of inches. I have tandem wheels so you need one for each axel. But they are only needed on one side of the trailer. They seem to be heavy duty and I believe each set is rated to 30,000 lbs.

way more than your typical axel. The chuck that is included works well. I have to hitch up and pull the trailer to take some weight off to be able to pull the wheel chuck out. This has eliminated one source of frustration in setting up for me.

My goal was to make leveling side to side as easy as leveling front to back. It works well for me.

I’m using these on a 33ft travel trailer weighing about 6k lbs. They are easy to use and have worked well on gravel and dirt. When I use them on a board to get a little extra height they sometimes slide before the wheel rides up on them.

They are almost impossible to use on a wet board. The yellow ramp will slide out of under the wheel before I can get the gray chock in place. It has been a lot easier than than stacking boards and trying to get them positioned right.

These are great products to have your camper easy-to-use better than trying to use wood blocks for leveling I would buy these again.

This product is so simple and easy to use. And now dont need to carry planks of wood. It so easy just put in front of both tires and pull the the truck forward and watch your level then use the smaller gray wedge on the other side of tire to lock it all together.

If you’ve ever had your stabilizer jacks sink in to soft ground or mud, or if they’re too short to level your trailer or motorhome, these pads will help. They’re made of tough rubber-like synthetic. I will be using them as a base for the feet of the stabilizer jacks to rest either directly on, or I will stack blocks on top of them to raise the ground level up to the jack feet as needed.

These pads are handy, affordable and are stowed easily in any storage compartment with little room.

It may be the Lego like approach needed to use these blocks, but we have worked with them for about 2 months and figured out hose to stabilize and even raise our 19k # 5th wheel at campgrounds. Our unit has big tanks with a low drain point, so sometimes the sewerage is expected to be able to flow uphill which it does not do so as well.

We build ramps with these blocks and drive our 5th wheel up on them to raise the tank drain ( and overall unit) and place these blocks under struts so as not to extend them too much during process. We also use to block all of trailers wheels and have had no issues thus far.

I have several sets of these and have yet to break one. These stack really nice and I am able to get level at just about every campsite I have been to so far. Will most likely end up buying more to add to my collection that I carry in the basement compartment of the RV.

Great level easy to use fast to read has really helped in leveling my travel trailer. I used the screws so as far as adhesive I cant say. I would consider this a must buy for anyone that has a travel trailer I attached mine right behind the ball hitch.

For a little thing its came in very handy. Now my husband believes me that the RV is not straight and there’s really no need to hold the bathroom door open with a giant can of pork and beans. Well worth the money!.

After mounting it,the front/back level was off, but I could make it work. I didn’t think much of it, I mean it was only $5. Then one day I pressed down a little on the bad float, and it made a clicking noise.

It must have snapped into place. Since then the level has been 100% accurate. :-).

They work good for the first couple days. We have a standard 24 ft RV with dually rear axel. we put 4 ramps down , one under each rear wheel. looked great the first day but on the third day all the ramps are bulging out side ways about half an inch a side.

I suspect if we left it on them for a week they would collapse, they appear to be permanently deformed.

I bought this product in a rush, seeing a big Class A motorhome up on it in the pictures on the box I figured my medium sized class A would be just fine! Nope. 6k weight rating. I don’t know the exact weight of my rig, but most class A’s weigh anywhere between 16k and 30k pounds.

I wasn’t going to gamble that 10k was over my rear axles and 6k over my front axles and go over the rating of these things. I’m sure they are just fine for a travel trailer or a class B/small class A.

Otherwise, it seems well constructed and easy to use.

These appear to be as well-made as other brands of RV leveling blocks. Walmart’s store price was competitive with on-line sources. I use them with my 35-foot Class A motor home. They work under the tires to compensate for uneven campsites and under my hydraulic leveling jacks to prevent them from sinking into soft ground or damaging soft asphalt in summer heat.

Kept clean, they won’t mildlew or hold dirt and moisture like blocks of wood, weigh less and they come in a handy zippered storage bag for neat storage. I haven’t yet broken any of them. Unfortunately the splashy advertising on the box touting a 3 year comprehensive warranty is a joke.

Once you unpack your purchase you discover that in order to file a warranty claim, you must ship the broken or cracked block prepaid to Irving, Texas along with a check for $5. 00 for “shipping and handling.

” Considering that the retail price per block is about $3. 20, paying to ship a broken block plus sending a $5. 00 payment means that a warranty claim costs more than the original purchase.

Easy ordering and arrived in good condtion. They’re like lego block. The removable handle is great for storage. You can 3 high using 5 interlocking blocks so you have a ramp. I’ve put marks on my level to show me how blocks I need.

Works great. Highly recommend for dually wheels.

These leveling blocks are not wide enough for most dual wheel motorhomes. I do not like having a tire rest partially on the surface. Camping World accepted the return without question.

Worked great on gravel and some pavement. Just be careful on slick blacktop. These flew out from under the wheels as I tried to drive onto them. Almost hit the truck behind me. They need to fix this issue by adding a nonslip surface to the bottom of the leveling blocks.

Very sturdy and durable. I have a pair I’ve used for many years, but I ruined one trying to use it for traction when stuck in sand, so I bought another. The wheel spun out on it and it melted, ruining both the leveler and the tire.

Don’t use it for that! At $20 each plus shipping, it seems a little overpriced for a hunk of molded plastic.

Works as advertised. I used to guestimate how many bricks to stack in search of level. Now I just slip the Camco adjustable block behind the tire and easily back up to desired, level. CAUTION!!!!: Make sure you chock this thing once you have it up on the rack.

I forgot this the first time. I went to lower camper onto my truck hitch and the wheel rolled off the stand and trailer hitch came down on my bumper. Thankfully no damage, but I learned my lesson. Cock the wheel as you normally would.

I have full-timed for over 4 months with 2 Tri-Levelers. My experience with them has been excellent. Two or one at a time they provide a lot of flexibility leveling my camper. There are 3 axises: lengthwise, sidewise and crosswise.

The third axis, crosswise, is not the most obvious. That only requires one leveler. I saw them demoed on Nomadic Fanactics YouTube channel, and I just knew that was dakine. However, you still have to figure how to use them.

It’s almost fun leveling the camper. How many do I need? And which wheel(s) do I put a leveler on. Surprisingly, in my travels so far I’ve only seen one other camper use them. Some campers are missing out, IMHO.

Other campers may have determined that they take up too much space. I was also skeptical, but they have been worth the loss of space in my 21 1/2 foot camper.

Perfect on our new travel trailer. Larger and better quality than I expected.

The blocks are handy for stability. If stability and convenience is what you need this is a good purchase. They grip the ground they re placed on and grip level ground giving sure purchase. The pieces interlocking design for stability and stacking very convenient into their own storage.

Make these a Best Buy. I recommend.

PROS: – larger than normal and leaves you with lesser doubts – thicker, more durable constructed than Yellow models: our 9K# toy hauler easily uses these with no issues. Yellow? not so good – handle makes for better throw and forget into storage area and movements.

bags = breaking and issues CONS: – cost but honestly you get what you pay for. go with the better ones and be done.

I have been using these blocks for several weeks now. They function well and allow you to easily “stack” them in order to increase their height. So far, so good!
