20 Best Trailer Tires 205/75R15 (2022 Updated)

I bought one tire to check it out. First of all the tire came on time. Secondly, the tire looked good. Thirdly, the tire held well under load. What’s still unknown is how long would it last before it dry rots or wear out.

Even though, there are couple unknowns I still gave the tire a five star and ordered four additional tires.

I drive 100 miles a day for my business. I go through tires like nobodies’ business. The tread lasts fairly long considering the other tires I purchased in the past at this particular price point. Worth the money.

Tires arrived in a timely manner. DOT date on tires were 12/2021, tires purchased 8/2022. Three of the four tires required an excessive amount of weight in order to balance! Not a good sign. Nice looking tire with deep tread.

Have not used trailer/tire since install. Local Walmart automotive department (Brewer, Maine), was outstanding to work with. Thanks David and Henry.

The product seems good. But I was not notified that the tires would come two at a time, on two different days. I wasted a lot of time finding that out. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Less than 200 miles and one of the four tires literally disintegrated. My RV calls for a rating C with weight of 1850 and these tires I purchased here were supposed to be BETTER. Well , my TPSM showed a constant 63 PSI with a temp of 98 F.

no warning , no nothing other than a LOUD BOOM. and NOT , they were/are NOT under inflated !.

Didnt realize tires were made in China but that may not be bad! They look good! Only use and time will lead to a satisfactory conclusion!

This is my second set – first ones went 15-20k miles over 3 years (which is pretty bad for normal tires, but in my experience trailer tires don’t last very long). I like these because they are M-rated at 81mph unlike a lot of trailer tires that are rated at 65mph, and because I can get D-load rating which gives a bit more buffer in carrying capacity.

Tires were delivered quickly. DOT code is within the last 6 months. I’ll likely wear these out in another 3-4 seasons, well before the tires technically should be replaced (every 7 years).

I didn’t buy my tires here but the Carlisle 8-ply 205/75 /R15B trailer tires are outstanding in every way. Out last, out perform all others I have had on my trailers. They have NEVER left me stranded.

Quality and craftsmanship you can always count on. Always make sure to inflate and keep inflated properly to your loads and you’ll never have to worry about blow outs and uneven wear patterns.

This is a trailer tire made in China. Probably about the same quality as any other Chinese tire – not much , though good enough to put on a seldom used utility trailer. This tire was supposedly upgraded about two years ago as the older ones had reliability issues.

If the utility trailer was used for more frequently I would have opted for the Good Year Endurance trailer tire which is made in USA. I put the GYE on my travel trailer.

Tires showed up just a few days after ordering. They where exactly what was advertised. Good looking new tire. I was worried it might be a recap because of price, looks like a brand new stiff side wall tire.

Haven’t put on trailer yet. But so far a good deal.

Ordered Trailer Tires through Priority Tire. They came in quick and all the same year date codes. Very happy with purchase and great deal.

Excellent tires and received it from Priority Tire within 3 days. Highly recomend purchasing from these folks.

In store was told that I would have to order on line and have tires delivered to store. Did this. On line was told that shipment had been delayed but that was not the case. Tires were in the store. On line was told that this store did not install these tires.

This was also not the case. Had tires balanced and installed at this store with no problems. Took about 2 hours but on a very busy day. Tires and service were great although balancing was a little pricey.

Recently called and spoke with a sales rep regarding the sidewall ply construction on the 10 ply tread Endurance tire. He insisted he could not give me that information. After a discussion he insisted he could only give me a “sidewall ply rating”.

Then i asked for a ply rating that was acceptable for a RV trailer tire. He then did not have that information available as to what numerical rating is “good” for that style of use for the tire. Obviously the sidewall ply is VERY important on any tire construction.

Don’t think my question was too extreme; and as such will not do business with this company.

These are the most durable long lasting trailer tires in this size I can find and Ive tried many! They have 6 mph speed advantage over the next best and better traction, wear longer, greater puncture resistance, and greater resistance to weather.

And theyre the last made in USA Goodyear needs to hear us when we say made in USA is a recognizable difference we are willing to pay for We do not see the longevity and durability in those tire models made elsewhere whether it be by design or build quality.

I now have Goodyear Endurance tires on all 3 of the trailers I own and they all travel long miles ( regularly seeing 2000 mile round trips ) Thank you Goodyear for building the tire and thank you Discount Tire Direct for selling it at affordable cost and shipping fast!.

Spent the extra dollars for these due to their reputation for quality, was even told by the local tire shop sales rep that these were made in the US, only to discover that they are made in china. Very disappointing.

They seem nice, but I could have saved $40 per tire if I wanted a cut rate tire. Sort of wish I could get my money back :(.

No comment on wear as these are brand new. They were mounted onto boat trailers but lakes are still frozen so haven’t had a chance to actually use yet. Ask me in 2-3yrs on this. 5 stars are for the price/value.

These arrived in conditions you would expect for any new item.

The tire itself is fine, but don’t believe the description when it says “Tire Only”. We ordered Tire Only and still got the wheel insert, which will not fit our trailer

Ordered 4 Gladiator Replacement trailer tires. I had replaced 2 tires 5 years ago with a different brand. One already had bald spots, the other had a nail wound. On the other side, there were 2 tires that were on it when I got it.

1 had polyester Plies showing. And the Gladiator was still good. I replaced that one due to its age, but it had plenty of tread left. That tire was far better than any of the others on the trailer, even tires many years newer.

The price seemed fair, too. Not the cheapest, but not crazy expensive. Very satisfied. I would definitely recommend them.

I have run Maxxis, Carlisle, Goodyear endurance, all quality tires and I will now add these to the list. I change my trailer tires out every 4 years regardless and I ALWAYS make sure I am running at max PSI and I dont travel more than 70 mph anywhere I tow.

I dont have blowouts.

This tire is awesome and reasonably priced. I will buy this again when needed.

Havent used them much but they ride good on the trailer and seem heavy duty and good quality. Great price as well. Will definitely buy again if they last

These are TRAILER Tires, used on my fifth wheel. They replaced older Maxxis tires, which I was quite happy with. They were 8 year old, which is generally considered very long life for a trailer tire.

They do not get a lot of miles, as I do not travel much with trailer. However previous Maxxis tires did travel from Vanouver Island to Newfoundland & return.

Our set was on the R. V. when we purchased our new 2017 Jayco 5th wheel. We have been pleased with this brand so that’s why we purchased our 2nd set last week. We keep air pressure checked prior to all our trips.

What can be said…. Excellent communication, great prices, fast shipping…. A 110% A+ company. Will gladly buy from them at all times!

Trailer King tires bought at Wal Mart appear to be fine so far after a weeks use. I replaced my 4 trailer tires because they were 12 years old and deteriorating. I told Wal Mart that. That put their tires on, charged me to balance them, charged me to dispose of the old tires, then did not replace the tire value stems that were rotten! I later that week got a flat from a value stem leak.

I can’t figure out who is more stupid, me (for not following up on every little detail which most consumers would not know to do like myself) or Wal Mart tire and auto because this is what they do for a living and should have replaced them, or at least asked.

Never assume like I did. I am now having the new value stems put on and the tires re balanced elsewhere at my expense and time. Wal Mart tire – disappointing.

THESE ARE GOOD TRAILER TIRES BUT I HAD A APPOINTMENT AT 10 TO HAVE THEM INSTALLED AND TOOK A HOUR AND A HALF TO INSTALL 2 TIRES. AND I BROUGHT THE RIMS IN, HOT ON THE TRAILER. BOUGHT 4 TIRES FOR MY CAR AT DISCOUNT TIRE AND TOOK THEM 30 MINUTES TO PULL THEM OFF THE CAR, MOUNT, BALANCE AND REINSTALL.

Tires came early. My local Walmart installed quickly. Everything went great. I was dreading to 2 hour wait, but they were quick this time. I haven’t had them long enough to give a rating on how well they perform.

One time was over 2 ozs out of balance, so I’m happy I paid the extra to get balanced. Most people don’t pay for balancing on trailer tires, but if they are out of balance, they will wear out much sooner.

Desperately needed new tires for my old Chevy Blazer. Order for a 1999 Chevy Blazer, as the Blazer was bought second handed and did not try the tires that was on it as they appeared to be mismatched.

Therefore, the request for 1999 Chevy Blazer. However, when the local shop went to put them on, they noted they were for a TRAILER. SO the moral of this story, not a good idea to save a few bucks order on-line.

Had some funky cheap tires on my trailer Drives me nuts when pulling it. These new 10 ply tires are a world apart from the ones I took off. They delivered them in 3 days and Walmart had them installed an hour after I got there.

Tires were delivered fast and there was no problem getting them mounted on my rims at Walmart! Very please, however I have not been able to put any miles so I cannot comment on the ability of the tires themselves.

Ordered two 2 2 packs for replacements on my camper. Nice readial tires. Hopefullu hold up to the road test for years. Good price for tire and wheel. Much lower than I could find locally. Oddly one came one day delivered by FedEx to my doorstep.

The second set came the next day and were left by the road? Quite a long driveway. Would nof seen them if a friend had not come by and asked, ” Why do you have two tires out by the road?” Happy with Walmart and product.

Not so much Fedex.

I was very pleased with the quality of both the wheel and tire. I am not certain if the assemble was balanced but it was smooth and vibration free on my boat trailer.

Called company direct. Very helpful in choosing right size and measuring lugs for correct fit. They are willing to spend neccessary time on the phone to insure satisfied purchase.

I had these mounted on my original trailer rims and my nephew and his friend used the car hauler trailer to make a 700 plus mile round trip. Pulled it empty outgoing, returned with a old school Caddie.

Their report was that the pull both ways were as smooth as butter. They were really satisfied with the tow. They should know as they have made the same trip a few times before while trailering the same Caddie on the old tires.

Bottom line, really pleased with these tires.

Ive been running these for several years on various trailers with no issues. The speed and D weight rating are what drew me to try them years ago.

Purchased other trailer tires in past, did not hold up at all! These tires seem well made and would purchase again if needed!

I recently bought 4 of the transeagle tires in the load range E for my dump trailer. I can attest to the tires ability to carry the load. Fully loaded to the max gvw. Now sway at all. Seems like it will be a good tire.

Plus it was a great price.

As a business buying tires wholesale and filing every document needed for tax exempt they charged me tax. Also they said 2 days. Wrong it’s been 1 week now. Better off buying from Amazon and cheaper.

Perfect match from old tires which were the “ST”. These new ST100’s have the upgraded sidewalls also that I like…. perfect! What I dislike is that the date code is Jan 2022. I just got them (Nov. ) and already they’re just about a year old.

These (TT) tires should be replaced every 3-5 years. You cannot return for an exchange as when you check the box you’re agreeing to Priority Tires terms. Delivery was great, only took two days.

Had a piece of metal sticking out the side wall on my tire. Connected with Priority Tire and got the right tire in 3 days. Awesome Company

Although these are LT tires (275/60R20) 8 Ply they win in being the heaviest tire @57lbs each. The Positive @ 50K Miles on tires Great snow traction Decent Dry Road Traction Wet Road is ok could sketchy at times it has declined as tire wears Hydro plane Resistance – Adequate at this mileage Braking is good Great Wear Ability at 50K I’m just half life.

Only 1 puncture whereas previous tires Yokohama Geolander GA015 and Good Year SRA’s each had (3) at this mile mark as well as being needed to be changed. Has really good offroad traction, which I rarely I drive.

Handles well when heavily loaded Negatives: Stock Size tire my mpg’s dropped about 1-1. 5mpg. Some wheel shake at around 65, as well as an unevenness at this speed, truck has 150K on it which may be due to suspension parts.

Moreover, the ride has a more truck like feel because the tires are so heavy vs 45 or 50lb tire. *The best analogy I can make with these tires, you are exchanging a pair of sneakers for solid pair of hiking boots.

You are exchanging mpg or durabilty, dry road & wet road for offroad and Snow & ice.

I have used his type of tire before. The tread depth of this tire is deeper than other trailer tires. That gives you more rubber and longer life. The load and speed rating are good. Ordered 4 tires and was shipped in sets of 2.

Both sets arrived at my house the same day on the same truck. Had free mounting at my local Walmart. Paid extra to have them balanced, new valve steams and old tire disposal fee. I recommend a balance to make tires last longer and not bounce around as this eats the rubber and destroys the tire.

The tires are cheaper priced, but dot let that fool you, they are well made. I am very happy with the tires and will buy them again.

Ordered from walmart. com. the price was good. It took about a week to be delivered. I took them to our local Walmart where they mounted and balanced and installed them on the trailer. They mounted for free but charged for balance and new stems.

Three days later put 250 miles on them and they did fine.

Arrived WAY SOONER than Anticipated! THANK YOU for that. They were bought to put on my camper, haven’t installed them as yet, but will soon. That’s why only 4 stars. I do not know as yet if they’ll hold air or not but I have tubes for that problem if they don’t.
