We purchased this utility wagon to move wood piling and lumber materials for a 6 foot wide x 1 mile long boardwalk replacement project we are doing for the National Park Service. We load the wagon with about 1500 pounds of piling/lumber and move it via the new boardwalk as we progress.

We started out just manually pulling the loaded wagon — one person could pull it, but one pushing helped. As we construct the new boardwalk and get further away from the material staging area (about 1200 meandering feet right now) we have stopped manually pulling and pushing and now move the wagon with a small lawnmover.

This wagon has made the job move quickly. It has a pretty tight turning raidus, even when extended to 79 inches. I assembled it in about an hour. I’m pretty sure that when we have completed the job the wagon will be toast, mostly from our abuse and the probably 1000 miles it will have on it, but it will have served its purpose for a very reasonable price.

We had issues with the wheel bearings and keeping them greased and they finally went out. We replaced the wheel bearings with a perm. lube, enclosed type wheel bearings for about $8 each wheel and we were back in business.

One of the holes in the frame where the angle tab mounting bracket botls to the lateral (that would support a vertical riser on all 4 corners) was not drilled all the way through both side of the frame tubing.

A minor misfabrication. All in all – we are very pleased with this utility wagon and its performance on our project.

This wagon has fitted my needs well. I use it mostly for hauling fire wood. The shipping box it came in was pretty poor and beat up with a few small parts (Large Washer, King Pin bolt) but nothing I couldn’t pick up quickly at a hardware store.

Assembly was simple enough with the included instructions. I made a bed of 4*6 oak runners, angle iron and used expanded metal for the platform for debris and snow to fall through. It is rated at a little over one ton and that rating seemed appropriate.

It’s turning radius is probably its weakest feature but still tolerable. You can adjust the length to have a larger or smaller bed. The tounge was the perfect hieght for my ATV for towing but the hitch opening was too small for my tractor so I had to make a jig on my draw bar for hooking that up.

The trails in my woods are narrow by choice and this wagon was ideal for that reason. I am quite satisfied with this purchase and a friend has purchased one since and he likes it as well. For the price it is a good purchase.

This cart was purchased to hold a 1000 lb. antique single cylinder engine. The engine was mounted on a skid, which I mounted to the cart and I must say that the cart could not have been better designed to meet my needs if it was custom built.

I was skeptical at first but was very happy with what I received. The assembly is simple and straight forward and all of the pieces are accounted for with the exception of 1 cotter pin. The addition of grease zerks on the wagon wheels and spindles are definitely a pleasant surprise.

The tie rod ends are a little loose for someone who might take this behind an ATV as it walks a little (easily remedied with larger bolts). The wagon construction is fairly rugged and easily is adjusted to length although a few more positions would be nice.

A 1/2″ drill takes care of that problem though. The addition of the tail hitch to gang up these wagons was also a bonus. The upright mounts to mount the bed to the frame is 27 3/4″ on the inside for anyone that needs to know.

Overall a steal at this price and I would not hesitate to buy another one!.

I just received this and installed it. It took me about an hour as indicated in the directions for someone who had never done it before. The bolt holes on the sides are already there, which makes it easy to put get in place.

The fish wire worked much easier than I thought it would, but I had a lot of trouble getting it off the first bolt. I ended up just pulling it off with pliers and bending it back in shape for the second bolt.

That took longer than anything else. There are several YouTube videos available to show how to install it. They’re definitely helpful and explain how to use the fish wire much better than the written instructions.

My vehicle is a 2007 Chevy Equinox. The trailer hitch fit very snug but great. The sides of the frame on my vehicle were probably a bit “swollen” due to rust, hence the snug fit. I know that the mounting flanges on the ends had to be manufactured to close tolerances to get the proper fit.

This enables the mounting bolts to clamp the end plates very securely. This hitch is well built. I am a retired mechanical designer with 40 years of experience. I appreciate its design. I used a floor jack to hoist it up and hold it while I put the bolts in.

Great job. 2007 Chevrolet Equinox LT.

Curt hitch receivers are made of high quality steel and come with excellent paint finish work. Bolt holes are exactly where they need to be for the application. One point of caution. this was for an Equinox, Terrain among some Saturn SUVs.

Curt supplied 6x M12-1. 75 bolts as well as 2x 1/2″ bolts. The 2010 Equinox had four welded nuts that took 7/16-14, took me a bit to figure out what thread they were and I had to go buy those from the hardware store.

There were two lower welded nuts on the vehicle and I was able to use two of the M12-1. 75 for that. Shame on GM for using both metric and standard. Curt seemed to be unable to keep up w/ whatever GM was doing.

Minor issue overall – A+ would definitely recommend.

I took this out on our first trip with a new motorhome. I have hydraulic leveling so needed to know when Im level. Right away I got 2 green lights on opposing sides but I could not get it level and I tried for the full 10 minutes.

When I tried to get the other lights to go green I lost the 2 I had. I don’t know what IM doing wrong but I messed around with it till I got frustrated. Ill try it again on the next trip, but Im thinking of adding bubble levels so I get an idea of what it takes to level it.

I will update if I have better news. UPDATE BETTER NEWS, I WAS USING THIS WRONG. Someone told me I have to have 2 legs front to back and 2 legs side to side. Then voila, it worked. Im much happier with it now.

It makes leveling a breeze. Only down side is the price, I think its overpriced.

Inexpensive and works as expected. Double sticky tape on the back nice for mounting. Has worked for 2 days on my new rig so far so good. Instructions say to park RV close to level and then mount the levels with mark in the center.

This is incorrect! RV/Trailer should be as level as possible using another level and then mount these with the bubble in the middle. Otherwise it will not be precise. There are many factors to compensate for, loaded or not, tanks full or not.

I mounted mine on the back corner so wife could see them from a single vantage point and also be visible in my drivers side mirror.

I prefer this brand to other brand. They hold up for years. I have tried other brands they jut dont hold up. These do. Buy this brand and mount with stainless steel screws.

Lost a wheel bearing on I-80 during a recent trip. Forced to drive on the shoulder several miles for safety. This caused some wear on the trailer axil. Picked new bearings and sand cloth to make repairs.

Long story short. It would have been nice to include a shaft gauge to insure fit before installing bearing assembly. Had to try it several times while getting grease all over the place!!.

Quick install. Little bit pricey but seems to be good quality. Came with lug nuts dust cover and a spare lip seal.

Works great. Easy to install. Good value for the price. Everything included to do the job correctly

Works good so far, but wiring is semi difficult. Most plugs are marked by wire color, this one is marked by light location. Not a big deal to google wire color and compare it to location or compare to the old plug if you’re just replacing like I did, but still an inconvenience.

Just glad I didn’t have to climb under the trailer and chase wires.

I’ve been searching for a large pet trailer for a nearly 70Lb dog. Decided to go for the Schwinn Rascal Plus as the price point was decent, though I could not find a single review for this particular trailer.

Almost all the reviews are for the regular Schwinn Rascal for up to 50Lb dogs. I didn’t want to spend over $200 for a large trailer, especially one my dog may not use at all. SET UP: It didn’t come with a manual so I needed to contact the manufacturer for one.

I based my purchase on the reviews of the smaller Schwinn Rascal (for dogs up to 50Lbs) and assumed assembly and function would be similar in regards to how easy it is to put together. This isn’t the case for the Rascal Plus.

There are a lot of parts. When I got a hold of the manual, it isn’t very user friendly and needs a lot more detail. It was a two person job to put everything together, and you do require a number of tools (no tools are included).

The cross bar is what allows the trailer to fold for storage. For the Rascal Plus, the crossbar is VERY difficult to put in place. I needed assistance from someone who is physically strong and even for them it wasn’t easy to secure into place.

I’m now hesitant to collapse the trailer for storage because I’ll need help to get it set up again. Wheels: The wheels make me anxious, quite honestly. It’s a pin that holds it in place , not secured in any other way.

I took the trailer out for a test drive and I can feel the trailer shaking a lot. I’m not sure how safe I would feel having a living being in this trailer on the road knowing that a simple metal pin/clip is holding the wheels in place.

Just about most parts are held together by pins, that are released by pushing a metal clip out of the way. The trailer does tilt back quite a bit, maybe I need to adjust the tow bar coupler position on my bike but right now it isn’t level.

The Cabin: Large cabin however this isn’t for tall/long dogs. For reference, my dog is 45″ long from nose to the base of tail (sacrum area) and 30″ tall. The inside diameter of the cabin is 31″ in length, 22″ width.

I like that the weight capacity is high enough at least to hold the weight of the my dog, but also hold a significant amount of weight when I need to haul items. Fabric: I can’t speak on durability of the fabric but it is very thin and the entire unit is covered in pressure marks.

It could use reflective material for night time visibility, right now there is only 1 small red reflector attached to the back. The weight of this trailer is quite heavy. I have no idea if it’s made out of aluminum or steel because the product details are different (for the regular Rascal trailer) on just about all sites I’ve visited.

I can feel it when I cycle up a slight incline. I do also think the attachment interferes with the wheel in someway, like my wheels weren’t moving as smoothly after installing this trailer. There’s a fabric strap that gets caught near the chain plate, which I moved further away but then it doesn’t clip back to the original loop and I had to clip it to the tow bar pin near the coupler.

This is a great product for your pet. Our 53 lb. lab loves it. It has easy access from the back and she gets right in. There is plenty of room in the 2 pockets inside the trailer and a smaller pocket on top.

I only gave it 4 stars because I had a hard time removing the piece off the latch while I was assembling it. It comes with a mat for the bottom of the carrier but we added a dog pad to make the ride more comfortable for our dog.

The material seems sturdy and we leave the front open for her to enjoy the ride. It has a small lead leash to secure your pet for the ride. It pulled very well behind my bike. We have electric bikes and the trailer hitch fit just fine on the wheel hub.

Very well built trailer. I put my 3 chihuahua’s in there on their dog bed. They love going for rides with me. I go very slow to take in the sights and so that they will be safe. I like the way it folds and un-folds in seconds.

One clip and the main compartment folds down. One pin and the tongue folds under. Then I put it in the back of the car. The wheels come off quick also but I don’t have to do that to get it in the car.

On the first ride one dog kept digging at the screen, trying to get out so he could run for a while. I was surprised that the nylon mesh held up. No damage at all. It’s solid with little impact to peddling.

I can feel the weight a little when starting to peddle and when going up hills, but overall you won’t even notice it’s behind you.

Just what we needed, old trailer wires were aged, starting to break. Wires & connectors seemed solid & well made, and it had short groundwire & 2 long wires for running lights. Would have given 5 stars if connector had more robust surround like old one, or a cover for storage, but otherwise fine.

I love the fact that I didn’t have to worry about not having enough wire to finish the job and location is printed on the wires themselves! It’s great!

This is a replacement wire harness for a trailer. My traiIer is 8×4 and i had more than enough wire. Easy to use color coded wires. I purchased some quick connect wire splicers that made the job very easy.

Wanna catch the eye of any bass, be sure to add this addition to your jigs or spinners. If there is a bass nearby you can bet these extensions will get their attention!! Zoom splittail trailers are a great way to get those monsters coming after what you’re slinging!!.

The Zoom Split Tail Trailer 4″ is one of two trailers that I throw on a spinnerbait. The other being a 4″ BioSpawn ExoSwim. Great spinnerbait trailer for a great price.

Very uncomfortable for kids. A little discomfort is okay but this is ridiculous. – no sun protection at all – no seat rigidness/frame so your kid ends up sliding down slouching the whole time which is not good for their back – no mud guard so your rear bike tire kicks up water, road debris, muck all over their faces Very poorly designed product for limited scenarios.

Basically useless. It was the cheapest one and is $160 which is absurd but I guess you get what you pay for… should have returned earlier but was too busy.

I purchased this trailer to carry my kids in (1 year old and 4 year old) while on vacation at the beach. It worked well. It is extremely easy to pull and is very quiet (no squeaking/rattling). I pulled the kids about 20 miles total on 3 different outings.

The tires are thin with low rolling resistance when pumped up to the proper pressure (35-40 lbs). The spoke wheels and flexible attachment do the bike give a little cushion to the ride. I wouldn’t recommend anything with smaller diameter wheels.

Total cargo weight when I pulled it, with kids and gear (not including the trailer itself), was around 65 pounds. Mercifully, the bike paths at the beach are very level. The entire trailer weighs about 25 pounds and is easy to maneuver.

It also folds down extremely small. Not only does it collapse completely flat, it also collapses side-to-side to make it as small as the In-Step brand single child trailer I have. The flag, crossbar, and both wheels all stow inside the trailer when fully collapsed.

Throw a bungee cord around it to keep it all nice and compact. Assembly/disassembly takes less than 2 minutes. All the takedown pins are tethered to the unit to prevent loss. The seat is padded, there is a little footwell, and 2 fabric cup holders inside.

Leg room is a little cramped for a 4 year old. The harness straps are very basic, but they work to stabilize wiggly little riders (I think they upgraded them with padding on the latest version). There is even a little storage “trunk” on the back to carry snacks, water bottles and diapers in- necessities when traveling with young ones.

One thing to keep in mind- the bug screen is good at keeping out bugs, but sand kicked up by your rear tire will go through it and you will end up with sandy little ones if you don’t take it easy when venturing off of paved bike paths.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and it performed perfectly for my needs.

I purchased this to pull one of my 3 littles. I have a burley for the other two but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on another trailer. My two older are 4 & 6 so I know the 6 yr old is not going to be in there after this year! I put my 4 yr old in this Schwinn (he is about 45 lbs) & I wasn’t super impressed.

There is not a lot of leg room & his bum is inches from the ground! This is supposed to hold 80 lbs! My husband is going to try to put something underneath so when a kid is in it, they sit higher up.

That aside, it is an easy set up & does fold flat. The tires could probably be a bit bigger, that would probably help the seat issue. I do like that net bug shield is a zipper. The one on my burley has loops and it can be a struggle to get them on sometimes! Overall, for the price it’s okay.

It just has to last me a year or two!.

18 Years ago, I bought this cart when it was known as a “Rubbermaid” product. It has held up well, so I needed a second one and bought the new “Gorilla Cart” version today. While the Gorilla version is basically the “Rubbermaid” version, I am concerned about some design changes in the “Gorilla Cart” version that make this it look like a cheaper version of my old “Rubbermaid” cart They cut corners on the frame design.

two parts instead of one, and missing more support on the front wheels, with slightly thinner gage metal. The dump handle release mechanism on the Rubbermaid version used to be a metal handle, spring loaded with a two prong latch inserted into the frame.

On the Gorilla version, now it is just a plastic handle that catches a metal lip on the frame. Friction will surely wear this plastic latch out out very quickly. I don’t understand how they can claim this cart to be sturdy and carry 1200 pounds when they cheapened up the frame support that the tub fastens to.

They took out front wheel supports. It seems like all the support relies on the tub with a thin metal frame fastened underneath it. The “Gorilla Cart” cost close to $200. way more that what I paid for a better constructed “Rubbermaid” cart that has lasted over 17 years of hard duty.

I doubt this one will last that long before the frame gets bent, loose, and the dump latch has to be replaced. I still will give the “Gorilla Cart” 5 stars because in principle, it does a good job with a better designed dumping action versatile handle for pulling or towing.

Beware that there are two versions of this handle. one swivels around to convert to a trailer hitch, the other version just has the plastic handle slide down the shaft to use the front part for trailering.

I don’t know why the manufacturers had to cut corners and “cheapen” this Gorilla Cart version. I don’t have the confidence that for the money, it will last. I will have to “baby” this cart to prevent pre-mature failure.

This is a very well designed, high quality utility cart. The materials are all high quality. The wheels have inner and outer bearings. That is something that I did not expect to see in a garden cart.

The very clever way that the frame works to allow dumping the cart easier is brilliant! I can think of several useful accessories that could be sold with the cart. I would like to see a tray to hold small hand tools, a cooler for drinks, and other small items such as seed packs could sit on top of the tub, secured by the rail pockets.

A similar tray with a screened bottom to sift stones out of soil is another possibility. Simple stakes that bow outward to contain brush is yet another. How about a small bin to hold a few wheel chocks? Failing to see them offered for sale, I just may have to make my own! The possibilities are endless with this great cart!.

The Gorilla Cart is strong, easy to guide, turn and appears to be very, very durable. The storage capacity (1200 lbs) is deep and the inner shape makes it excellent and easier to shovel. I loaded it up with 160 lbs of top soil with room to spare.

Definitely more than my Jackson dual wheeled barrow. What makes it even more spectacular is the ease in which it handles the weight and the turning radius is fantastic! You can turn on a dime! The Gorilla Cart built to last, easy to turn, and can carry more weight than any normal home owner will ever need.

Very durable, very strong and ease of maneuverability. The Gorilla has it all!.

You can tell this isn’t a top of the line system, it’s pretty basic and not the smoothest when used as a stroller. It also lacks storage features. But for the price it’s a great value. I wish the handle (for using as a stroller) had more height adjustment.

There’s really only one height, and it’s rather low. I am short so it works fine for me, but a guy that is above average height may find it uncomfortable. A plus though, assembly is very simple and intuitive! The whole system is solid and my kids really enjoy it.

I bought this a few weeks ago for me and my 2 boys to have something new to do this summer during quarantine. I was hesitant to purchase this bike trailer because I couldn’t find this type anywhere else and there were no reviews.

I decided to go for it and order it and I’m happy I did. It was a reasonable price and was easy to set up. It is smaller than other bike trailers but it fits my 2 boys (3 1/2 and 1 year old) just fine.

My oldest is leaner which helps so you might want another type if your kiddos are on the bigger side. It is easy to ride my bike with this attached.

This trailer was quick and easy to assemble. Everything I needed to attach the trailer to my bike was included in the package. My grandkids enjoy riding in it.

The tire/wheel combo worked as expected. It fit as expected and did its job. This review is more about customer service. I had a blowout on a trailer on a friday evening after everybody was closed. I contacted my wife to send her on a desperate trip to help me out.

Everybody was closed except Tractor Supply. I contacted the store in Bristol VA. The guy that answered the phone checked to make sure it was the correct tire/wheel and bolt pattern, put it up front at the store.

I ordered it online and called them back. My wife had two sick kids in the car that were asleep. I called the store back and the same guy said he could take care of it. He personally took the item to my wife’s car and loaded it, had the paper for her to sign and she was out of there in less than 5 minutes.

Both kids stayed asleep. This was the best example of customer service I have ever experienced.

Needed a spare for my 16 ft. cargo trailer prior to the beginning of a 1300 mile trip. Tractor supply had exactly what I needed in a complete wheel/tire assembly, it was even inflated to the correct pressure.

It was great to be able to get the spare at fair with just one stop. I also used Tractor Supply wheel/tire assemblies recently when rebuilding my boat trailer.

I never had a bike trailer for my kids before, so I was excited to try this out. It was pretty simple to put together, once I got going with it I was able to put it together myself and it didn’t take very long to accomplish.

I am grateful that it has buckles for two and an 80lb. weight limit, because there was no way I would be able to offer one of my kids a ride without a fight over who gets in- this way they can BOTH fit! I will say though- they were pretty snug.

At 5 and 3, they’re JUST at the weight limit and really take up all the space in the trailer- so they weren’t really comfortable riding together for very long. A quick trip around the block and the novelty wore off for them.

I still think one at a time would work for a longer trip- more room to stretch out and less strain on the hitch and wheels. The entire thing is really lightweight and does fold down really easily- while it currently feels sturdy enough to me, I don’t know that I feel it has a lot of longevity this way, like maybe the wear on it would really start to show over time.

I am happy with this as a very casual rider (we live in a pretty quiet development so most of our bike rides are just around the neighborhood and close to home), but I think you’d need something a little more substantial if you’re a rider in more strenuous environments like trails or public areas.

Overall, I think this is a nice trailer that works well for us- I DEFINITELY see it being a real asset for pet parents or smaller children- ours are just kind of topping out the weight so we’ll get as much use out of it as we can before they outgrow it!.

Assembly not as easy as described. I purchased this item based on reviews and on pricing. I want to use this trailer for my small dog. The instructions for assembly are not clear. It took a while to figure out the proper sequence for unfolding and folding.

During the unfolding phase, the rails that extend to widen the trailer do not easily slide out. Same with the folding phase as they do not easily slide back in. Very frustrating and the probability of damaging the item is very high.

Once unfolded and set up it appears to be a solid trailer. The wheels assemble and disassemble quickly and easily. Attaching the hitch to the quick release axle was easy however, the safety strap hook is not wide enough to fit around the bike frame (Cannondale Quick 5).

Folding the trailer back up for storage is frustrating due to the rails not sliding back in easily and the housing fabric causing obstacles. It almost takes a contortionist to be able to stuff the fabric inward while pushing down on the left and right side rails at the same time.

Did I mention it was frustrating? Once folded properly the unit is compact and easily fits in the trunk of any car. If you plan on storing the folded unit on a wall hook like I did, note that you will have to use a velcro strap or bungie to keep the side walls folded in or else the wheels push against them with gravity pulling the wheels downward.

The seat padding is less than desired. I would be hesitant to put children in this trailer unless they weigh less than 30lbs. I will be putting my dog’s bed inside for extra padding and comfort.

The trailer is well built and a reasonable price. I would have given it 5-stars, but I was not impressed by the electrical work. Right out the gate, when I drove it home one of the plastic covers for a light fell off.

Apparently it was not screwed on very tight. My second complaint is all the exposed wiring. While there is a lot of built in conduit used, there is also a lot of places where the wires are exposed. In other words, the electrical layout could have been detailed better.

Being in construction and using this trailer ALL the time, I’m constantly trying to avoid exposed wires when climbing around or tying down loads. Not to mention the few places available to hook a ratchet strap to, have wires running through some.

It’s frustrating. I’m completely re-wiring it myself just to place the wires in better places. Besides the electrical, I do love the trailer.

This is a strong, well built trailer that i suspect will serve my needs for years to come. I bought it to upgrade an older and lighter weight trailer, but also wanted to be able to haul my JD tractor should I have the need.

I haven’t done so yet, but I did haul it from Florida to north Iowa and back with a Sand Rail dune buggy. It tows very well and has brakes on all four wheels which is a huge plus. FYI, you need a seven plug trailer connector and an Electric Brake Controller in order for the electric brake to function.

I didn’t give it five stars because of quality assurance issues. My trailer has all of the discrepancies many others have mentioned. Runny paint, weld splatter, less than desirable method of wire splicing, however, all lights currently work, rust from rubbed of paint during shipping, and wood blocks from shipping still in the suspension system.

Checked all of the hardware for security and found the left side to be tighter than the right which indicates nothing is torqued to a specific amount, however, none of the hardware was what I would consider to be loose.

The ramp lowers and raises very easily as the assist springs are pretty strong. The ramp will lower forward to lay on the deck, but requires that you cut a couple grooves in the wood for the latch receivers on the ramp to recess into which I did.

The ramp with all of its holes is still a huge air brake. Overall I’m very happy and at $1,000 less than the other trailer brands available to me I’m willing to overlook the minor cosmetic discrepancies.

I just purchased a brand new 2021 6x14GWBRK2 utility trailer from Tractor Supply. Upon picking it up, I find that the paint or whatever it is they spray these things with, is worn off from other trailers being stacked on it for transport and is already rusting.

Some areas of the trailer it’s on so thick that it hasn’t even dried yet. My hands and arms were covered in a roof patch tar like matter. The electrical wiring leaves a lot to be desired. The trailer brake wires just dangle down on the inside of the tires literally rubbing against the tires.

The emergency breakaway cable box was broken off the trailer and was just dangling. I had to remove the rivet that held it to the trailer and reattach it. One of the tail/brake lights weren’t working, upon further inspection, it wasnt properly tightened to trailer so it wasn’t grounding properly.

I load my Yamaha Wolverine x4 on the trailer and go to close ramp gate and locking pins no longer line up with holes. The ramp is now bowed and I had to put a wood block on the ground and let ramp down and place block in the center edge and my son and I each had to stand on the corners to bend it back.

Now I will have to reinforce the ramp as well as remove rust and repair paint, and figure out how to correct the wiring. All in all, the trailer itself towed nicely and is built with quality and seems solid so far.

I have only owned it for 3 days but traveled about 100 miles to pick it up. I’m hoping Carry On might be able to refund me a little something for all the repairs I have and will need to make on this brand new trailer.

Great affordable little trailer with some very nice features. Folding sides are a benefit for loading. I also have an earlier version of this trailer and the newer ones have made some improvements to the latching at the corners of the sides and gate.

Tire size is nice to have larger for highway speeds and general load capacity. Does not come with a spare but we added one and a folding tongue jack in place of the stationary version. Gate could be a little longer for a lower angle when loading low clearance things such as mowers but you can work around this by cranking the jack down.

Build quality is very nice compared to other utility trailers. Frame has tube construction rather than angle iron like many others I’ve seen. Overall I’d recommend it for the money.

Pulls great, weighs nothing, easy to load stuff with the folding sides. I buy and sell power sports vehicles and this trailer is just perfect. I’ve had jet skis, quads, side by sides, lawn mowers, snowmobiles, dirt bikes and farm equipment on this trailer.

No problems at all. I highly recommend this trailer.

Purchased yesterday. The two guys that assisted me were amazing, we bought two trailers. Karavan 6 x 12. Great features, easy to use, fold down sides excellent. Price was amazing. Used a longer tow hitch with more drop and no issues with tailgate and tongue jack.

The plastic end caps are very secure. Thanks Fleet Farm guys in Sioux Falls.

First off, the tail lights are only working intermittently (brake and turns). That’s the biggest issue. I can’t see where the plug is grounded to the trailer if at all. It seems like they expect the ground to come through the hitch and the ball which is ridiculous.

Who wants to grind off their rust resistant powder coated finish on their hitch to get a ground? If not that then the plug is bad or the lights themselves but good luck getting a hold of Carry On for warranty purposes.

Also the plug doesn’t come with any kind of dust cover, so it’s just exposed to the elements all the time. The bearings in the wheels often come a little loose so the wheels wobble a tad and create some rough pulling.

You shouldn’t have to pull the dust caps off the bearings and tighten the nut, but you do, and this seems to be a problem a lot of people encounter if you do some research on it. The rest of the trailer build seems to be good quality although that paint doesn’t last long.

I do like it comes with the tongue jack. I wish it came with a simple foot plate, they are inexpensive so why not include that? Overall I do like the trailer, but there does seem to be a lot of cost cutting.

I would expect better from “Made in the U. S. A”.

Trailer is good but there are a couple flaws. Biggest being is that the crank handle for the stand sits up just high enough that you can open the tailgate therefore you can’t use the bed. It’s disappointing mainly because the cinternet and is only in the way by a couple inches.

The gate on the trailer itself doesn’t ramp, it is squared at the end so manually rolling something onto the trailer can be difficult. There are also alot of sharp edges around. The only real issue out of the 3 is the crank and not having access to the bed.

Nice little trailer. Good quality and excellent durability. Ive already put almost 300 miles on the trailer with no issues. NOTE: 1 7/8 ball. Also, make sure to use the right height for the hitch. If it isn’t pulling level it rides horribly due to the suspension being at the wrong angle.

Also the wiring will need to be wrapped in some areas dute to touching metal. In the 300 mile I’ve currently pulled the trailer I’ve had no problems at all. Just plan on heavy use for this trailer so taking extra precautions.

ONE negative. the fenders were rusted and paint peeling on the edges. I found this trailer had been on the store lot for a couple years so not an issue. Rattle can fixed it and no issues. Great little trailer.

Trailers were hard to find as stock replenishment was slow going for retailers. Was looking for larger size trailer ( 5. 5-6. 4 x 10-12) but none available at a decent price. This one was in stock and ready for immediate pick up.

Decent trailer for the price. Few spots where paint was chipped already had rust. Front rail had paint drips along entire length. Has 13” tires rated to 75 mph, might try going with 14-15” tires and wheels, fenders permitting.

Lights are nice and bright. Pulls nicely especially with the zero turn on it. Will revisit after hours of use and update review as needed.

Great trailer, wood is thick and should last a long time with proper care. The addition of the welded on tie-down loops along the sides is great. But it could use more than 2 and it would have been good to have some along the front and rear as well.

The electrical hookup could be a little longer, it barely reaches the hitch and I’m worried about stretching it when I’m making a tight turn, so I had to buy and extension. Shouldn’t have to buy an extension.

Purchased a “Gen 2″ trailer a month ago for the express purpose of hauling a 900 lb Harley bagger down to Florida from Northwest Indiana. The wire mesh is a bit thin for 450 lb per square foot, in other words two tires sitting on the mesh, 450 pounds on a 3″ x 4” area.

Not a problem as I intended on installing a 1/2″ green treated plywood deck that measurably added rigidity for a mere 70 lbs of extra weight. Also reinforced the ramp with the same plywood, 3′ wide, screwed all in with galvanized 1/4″ carriage bolts, fender washers, flat washers, lock washers and nuts.

My bike was about 2″ too long to have the ramp up, but no worries as I had intended to unbolt after getting the bike up, then jacking the bike up and turning the ramp 90 degrees and sliding under back wheel.

Worked perfect, no “air brake” with the ramp up. I added a trailer jack, as, God forbid, I were to lose both tires to flats, my tongue weight was way over what I would want to lift. Ok, now that we have gone through all of that, here is what I think.

The trailer towed perfect, empty, and with the 900 lb load. The paint is better than the first Gen trailers, but I still have bubbles on one rail where it was not cleaned well enough before painting.

But no worries, will grind down this spring and primer and paint. The tires have a sufficient load rating, and the speed rating is 75 mph, good enough. A friend has the “first gen” trailer from a couple of years ago, and he was very impressed with the square channel outer frame, and felt it was 10 times more rigid than his.

The only thing that I was surprised by was the gas mileage. I have a 7’x16’x 6. 5′ enclosed trailer that I get 10 mpg fully loaded pulling with my 2010 5. 4 liter 4×4 truck. Pulling the trailer and bike I got 13 mpg.

Over a few (?) beers, my friend and I deduced it is not the weight, but the wind drag on the wire mesh, even with the plywood on top. Going to maybe attempt to cover the bottom of the mesh with something, a review for later.

Don’t expect a high strength rigid trailer, with show car paint, not for the money you will pay for this. Those trailers go for three times the amount you will pay at TSC for this trailer. If you are hauling a bike or a medium size zeroturn, a great trailer.

Be certain to check that ALL bolts are tightened before driving off, and that wiring is good. I would recommend this trailer.

I’m loving my new trailer! I needed 5′ wide for my John Deere mower , but I didn’t want a huge trailer. 5×8 seems smaller than it really is, which is perfect! I can haul the mower when needed as well as all my project essentials like mulch, rocks, dirt, etc.

I drilled holes in the cross bars and bolted treated lumber on as “sides. ” They are 1″x8″ so that the ramp will still fold inwards. I was uncomfortable drilling holes through the powder coat – but to be honest, there are places the powder coat wasn’t perfect and it’s already starting to show a little rust beginning.

I may as well have a few rust spots on the top, too. AND make this trailer more functional for the various types of things I need to haul. I bought a large tarp which I’ll put down before loading rocks, mulch or dirt, and I’m really pleased at how functional this will be.

The trailer pulled quietly even when empty, and it’s attractive as heck. I LOVE that the ramp folds inwards/down, because when they don’t – they are just wind catchers and kill your mileage. This was one of the deciding features for me.

I also wanted a treated wood floor – vs the mesh that stretches out, breaks and requires welding to fix. I suppose if I were a welder, I wouldn’t care – but I’m not. I’m quite satisfied with the purchase of this trailer.

I waited for the 10% purchase deal from Tractor Supply and got a bargain. The price was very good and economical. Used trailers are hard to come by right now, and none nearly as nice as this, selling for more.

I don’t know how this got so many stars mine is a piece of absolute junk. I am on a road trip and needed something to haul my motorcycle because my hitch hauler broke. This was the only one anyone had for 100 miles so I went ahead and bought it.

First of all the post that connects the tongue to the trailer is held on by 2 little bolts, it’s not welded anywhere. Both of the tabs on the bars that lock the rear gate broke off so I have to have 2 people on either side just to get the gate down.

Not only that but all the boards are NAILED to the metal so have of them come out and all the boards start to warp. And finally, I have driven about 500 miles on the trailer with a motorcycle (300lb dirt bike) and a generator (100lb) and both tires are almost completely bald.

Even though I check the tire pressure every other has stop. This trailer was total junk and a huge waste of money. The quality control of this manufacturer is absolutely horrible. Please don’t waste your money on this.

I had been researching utility trailers for a while for general home use as well as hauling my golf cart. After almost buying a similar model at another retailer, someone suggested I contact the local Tractor Supply.

Very glad I did. The service was exceptional and the price and selection better. The trailer is solid (using for about a month now). My only gripe is the lack of tie downs on the trailer. I have ended up just looping the straps around the side rails, but I question why the fanciest utility trailer in the world didn’t include them from the factory.

That said, happy with my purchase and would buy again.

I like it. I like the cables that are used as safety chains. The latches that are used to hold the gate up are tight but very secure. I also like how you can lower the sides rails. The side pockets for storage is very nice.

If I had a request, they would be that Tie-Down anchors be added, and that the electrical wires coming out of the tongue be more secure.

This trailer is great. I love how the sides fold down and work as steps. I also like how the ramp can be completely removed if needed. The only downside is there are no tie down pints on the trailer.

I had to purchase d-rings and install them myself. That’s an obvious miss on Karavan’s part.

The lack of tie down anchors especially for a wide trailer like this is disappointing. The side rails don’t feel sturdy enough to feel confident on on tying down a quad or a mower. There are holes on side frame I plan to add anchors to avoid drilling.

Plastic fenders have a step area but still feels flimsy to step on. Gate Framing support spacing has a huge window not supported that is the same as the width of standard ATV. Bent mesh on gate first day loading ATV.

Plan on having to weld two additional supports in gate to fix. Welds are also rusting bad when purchased new.

The trailer is amazing for the money. It moved me out of a house and handled everything I could throw at it without an issue. Highly recommended, especially since it’s the only trailer I’ve seen where all 4 sides fold down.

Why would you need that? I have no idea, but it’s still cool as hell!!!.
