This is a high quality, long lasting, sharp trimmer line. It keeps our property’s rough lava-rock terrain in order. It allows a hardy grass cover to take over. It kills mimosa patches. We use none other for our Echo SRM-2620.

If you want something with excellent quality trimmer line, this is it! Other brands did not cut as smooth and as fast as these trimmer line. I cut through thick weeds and tall grass so quickly effortlessly.

Which saved me the gas and time with other brands I’ve tried. Save your money, get this and you’ll see the difference!.

This is a rating given without using the product yet. I like Echo products and the twisted line normally is tougher than the straight line, so it gets a thumbs up for that. I did buy another product which has this one beats just by shear volume.

It was nearly 700′ on a single spool. For country users that was a better value, all other criteria being the same?.

This stuff is 10 star to me. Gator Magnum Trim Line is great. Cuts through the hardiest of things. Lasts longer than normal line as it is larger and has the kevlar in the middle. I use a fixed line head and will use much less of this than on a bump head and why?? no idea, just do.

Tripped over this gator stuff years back and happy I found it. I love it and recommend it. Some say too expensive, but you use less of it, so is a great pay if forward trade off. I will always use it.

Gator line is the toughest line I have ever used. It is long lasting and holds up against very heavy use. When trimming along chain link fence other lines seem to just disintegrate, Gator line holds together.

Cutting through heavy weeds is an easy task for this product. In my opinion it is the highest quality strong line on the market.

This is the best trimmer line I have had in 2 years. It does snap now and then when I hit something like the fence or larger saplings, This does a better job clearing than the original type that I had for my walk behind.

This 5lb. spool of trimmer line should lasts about 3 years at doing 6 yards a week all summer long. This is a great quality string holds up better then any other string that I have purchased over the years.

The cutting strength and design is virtually great. Buying bulk trimmer line is definitely the way to save money!.

Trimmer line is a consumable product. Echo Cross-Fire is very sturdy and gets the job done! This bulk roll will save a LOT over smaller package sizes.

The durability is amazing. This trimmer line is virtually indestructible. It laughs at large weeds; come at me bro! Like a machete cutting through paper, wow! Truly, an amazing value!!!!

As a lawn maintenance company, I have tried many different brands and types of trimmer line. This one cuts the best and last the longest. My trimmers do not bog down in thick or wiry grass. Great value and long lasting.

Echo knows their products well and how to make them better. I own the echo 580T trimmer. what a powerhouse. The only thing that can make it better is better string. Not only is the string. 105 line, which my trimmer can easily handle, it also is constructed much better than the other string types that are available.

I wanted to wait till my current line ran out but decided to go ahead and switch, boy am I glad I did. Not only was the cutting a lot quieter but it went way faster and less throttle to do it as well.

Stuff is very sharp and cuts grass/weeds like butter, highly recommend. I am using a commercial model Echo trimmer. I had been using a two cutting side line from Echo, this line has four sides.

I have tried several trimmer lines in the 0. 095” diameter. Shakespeare, Husqvarna Titanium, and many others. This Milwaukee polymer lines far outlast all of them. Especially against woody plants and chain link fences where most brands are too brittle and break off easy.

Milwaukee polymer line lasts so long I am still one the first reel of line that was installed when I bought it! Two seasons of hone yard work and lasting many times longer than other premium lines. It cuts very well too.

I rarely use my M18 trimmer on full speed as this line cuts down all but the biggest weeds and grasses at half throttle. I am very satisfied and will he buying more if this first reel ever wears out!.

I can’t really gauge whether or not this trimmer line is better or worse compared to other brands, but I can say that I have had zero issues with the line and it has completed the job I worked on every single time.

I own a 14 acre property in a high fire zone so brush clearance is something that I do many times throughout the year. I tackle the property in sections and my M18 string trimmer and this trimmer line and get the job done without any issues!!.

I didn’t thing the line that came with the Milwaukee Trimmer and Quik Lok trimmer would be any good. Wrong!!!! The original line from last year just ran out. So I bought a spool of this. This line cuts cleanly and is very durable.

Thumbs up! Only knock is the Milwaukee premium pricetag. This spool should last a few years though.

I was unhappy with the breakage of the generic brands that I had purchased. I thought I would step up and get a better product. I found that this product broke much faster than what I had been using that cost less than half as much.

To experiment, I put one line of each product in my trimmer. The Husqvarna product broke off after very little use while the other product continued to be usable. After trying 8 or 10 times. I threw the roll away.

I never write reviews, but this product deserves one. I’m a 60 year old guy that has rentals and I do everything—from lawn care, tree trimming to remodeling, plumbing, paintings, electrical and everything else except AC work.

I even work on my two old Land Cruisers. —so I know a thing or two about tools and parts. Today I used the Husqvarna Titanium Force. 095” for the first time. I was surprised that I did the whole house without ever letting more nylon out Most of the edging was against concrete sidewalks and concrete lawn divisors.

Usually I buy what ever—and usually I go through 1/2 a spool to do the lawn—but not with Husqvarna. IMO, it’s worth twice the price. A truly great product!.

I’ve been using trimmer line from Stihl, Echo, and other well known companies for a long time. None of these cut as fast and complete, or lasted as long, or ran without binding as well as Husqvarna’s Titanium Force line.

I’ve hooked on this line ever since. It really saves me a lot of time weed whacking.

This is a powerful petrol strimmer. I spent 3 years working as a landscape gardener, so I am very familiar with strimmers. Easy to start, easy instructions generally but as ever with strimmers the head Tooks some playing with.

It was incorrectly strung by the manufacturer. This shouldn’t stop you buying it because with a bit of YouTube, it’s very easy to resolve and frankly, if you’re going to own a strimmer, you must understand how to re-thread the head.

Could almost use this commercially. Happy to recommend.

Chord wears quickly compared to the chord I had before. I expected a more durable product from a company like Stihl. This certainly isn’t budget price chord.

Good quality strimmer cable. Remember to store strimmer cable away from light in a cool storage area. Excess light and heat quickly damages strimmer line as it becomes brittle. This supplier has stored it properly!.

I recently purchased an Echo SRM-225 String Trimmer. The trimmer came loaded with, what I believe was the Echo Crossfire, standard 0. 095 string from the factory and the local representative provided me with several sample spools of Echo Black Diamond 0.

095 premium string. At the same time I ordered the Rotary Vortex 0. 095 string. The Echo standard string required multiple “bumps” and one complete change of line. to complete the routine trim work for our 2600 foot square St.

Augustine grass yard The change was to the Echo Black Diamond 0. 095 line sample. The Black Diamond did trim better, the line stayed straighter in motion and lasted through two cycles of yard trimming.

The bumps required seemed to be much less. Finally, I tried the Rotary Vortex 0. 095. The difference was noticeable in straighter rotation, far fewer bumps and lasted three complete yard cycles and is still going! The line does fray on the ends but retains excellent cutting capability.

I find I have far less tendency to “force” the line down into the cut, as the ends continue to cut well. The delivered price for 250 foot spools of all three line types is within $2. 00 of each other.

Best buy by far is the Rotary Vortex. very noticeably better.

This product from Rotary is so remarkable, I almost put down my Stihl trimmer midway through the lawn, just to write this review. First of all, I experienced every positive attribute that has been said about the Vortex.

095 trimmer line by Rotary. I am a Florida homeowner on a corner lot. Much of what I use my trimmer for is actually to edge along the curb, driveway and a short section of sidewalk hence a great deal of contact with concrete and sandy dirt.

3M Professional face shield is a must! Typically, with the. 095 Stihl X-line, I would have to advance the trimmer line about every 20. I dont use a traditional edger, because I get far better results turning the trimmer over, standing in the grass and putting a slight, sharp bevel away from the street.

A real show-stopper even though it normally takes a lot of regular plastic line to get results. That was then. Today, I couldn’t believe that I only advanced the line three times in 300+ feet of concrete contact.

In retrospect, I probably could have completed the entire task only advancing the line maybe once, but I wanted to see how well the line advanced. Also, Im kind of particular about the perfect string length as I tend to mow rather high.

I purchased the 115 length that came in an amazingly well-designed donut. Normally, I prefer a spool, but Rotary really knows what they are doing even in their packaging. The line is very easy to load, however, I found that I couldnt wind as long a line as I normally would – about 8 feet less.

Once in the St. Augustine grass, the line was equally impressive. True to everything I read, heard and saw, the line flies without any discernible wobbling and consequently enables a beautifully precise and level cut.

One last thing during every phase of my work with the Vortex line loaded in my Stihl, I was able to operate at half throttle. Less fuel, less noise, happier neighbors! I never thought Id find trimmer line that was as fantastic and well designed as my choice in power equipment.

Perfect pairing Vortex and Stihl.

Wow! Holy smokes! I am weed whacking at lightening speed with a girl-friendly SRM-Echo 225i and this string. I can only imagine what this string could do in a commercial whacker. The Vortex line seems a bit thick and heavy, so I installed only about 8 feet to keep the weight down and the rpms up.

I also like the Echo Black Diamond. 095 for wet, noodley grasses; yet the Echo broke and retracted into the bump head when attacking tall new grasses interspersed with tall stemmy old grasses and a few berry bushes mixed in.

The Vortex is handling that mix of growth with ease. And like I said, I’m covering a lot of ground with much less effort and lots of speed.

Bought this while in the store purchasing some other items and didn’t want to make a second trip on the way home. After using this 8 or 10 times, I wish I had of stopped elsewhere to get my regular brand! The quality was very poor, the line seemed brittle, as if it was very old.

The line would bind in the cutting head after only a few minutes of a new reload, and it would get stuck on itself, and you’d have to stop take it apart, throw it away, and start over with a new piece of line.

As another reviewer said, it seems like the cutting edges would bind on each other and totally gum up the works. The line would take a “set” quickly, and when you stopped the trimmer for any reason, the line would quickly retract into the holes in the trimmer head ! It also seemed like there was no quality control in making it, as every 10 ft or so the line would have flashing along the edges from the mold that it ran through to make it.

All in all I would never recommend it or use it again. Absolutely too time-consuming and frustrating!!.

The comparison to the HUSQVARNA 596780401on the HF site is not a fair comparison since the Husqvarna model number provided 596780401, has an inner core which inherently makes it more expensive. The HF product I am writing about does not have an inner core.

Husqvarna does have a trimmer line product at a diameter of 0. 095 at 200 ft long that would be a much better comparison for like products. I have found that the HF universal trimmer line tends to bind within the trimmer spool.

What is found that contributes to this, is that the 7 cutting edges, outlined in the description start to bind into each other as the rotating centrifugal force of the spool head tightens up the trimmer line within the spool.

Those edges lightly cut into one another and create the bind thus disabling the bump feed feature. It is a little annoying.

Was not real sure about this trim line when I was buying it. I knew Harbor Freight would not have a problem if I didn’t like it. After a few minutes I was convinced this was a good trim line. It actually lasted better than the big brand stuff even though it is not as thick as the big brand stuff.

With the color being bright orange, it makes it very easy to see just where you’re cutting! My next visit to the Freight I will be picking up another pack of trim line!.

Heavy duty. Works well with our Echo Commercial weed eater.

The Echo Cross-Fire string is the best cutting string I have found. SLE Equipment has a great price and gave excellent customer service.

Weed Eater works just as good, if not better, as all the High tech lines out there. The wear on the head feed grommets is drastically reduced saving me replacement cost while doing the same cutting. Over 39 years of experience and I’ve tried them all!.

Gr8 for grass edging. Not somuch for extreme weeds & bushes. Nonetheless, good line for minimal operations.

My WEED EATER. 065 X 100 SHAPED REPLACEMENT STRING TRIMMER LINE is working out real well with my Weed Eater. As soon as i got the item i put it to use. It’s a good replacement string. Thank you for the product.

After getting several brands of consumer packaged trimmer line, this product from Arnold seems to be very durable and lasts longer than other twisted line regardless of the language written on the package.

The past two years, this is the trimmer line I use and if you run a lower speed, it lasts even longer and even holds up next to fence wire (mowing next to a fence is difficult anyway). MAXI-EDGE is the best cost effective trimmer line I have used on our property.

I bought this with my new Husqvarna 525L trimmer but hadn’t used it because I was using the line that came with the trimmer. The trimmer had to go in for a warranty repair and I was using my SRM 225 Echo back up trimmer and it was having trouble cutting my tough tall weeds.

I changed the line out to the X PRO Razor Core and I had no trouble cutting the tough tall weeds, I only had to bump feed line once in an hour of trimming. I will be using this line exclusively from this point on.

I bought this line to put on a new trimmer and it simply bends and breaks off, then sucks back into spool it you trim anything around bricks, fencing, rocks, small trees, vines. As long as you are only trimming grass in the open it is ok.

After trimming maybe 50 ft around sitting area and 10ft around base of house I give up. Took line off and refilled with my old standby Shakespeare Twist.

This is probably the best string I’ve ever used should last for a very long time. The guy that does my weed eating says it would wear out. I said good deal.

I have had the trimmer for three years now. I let the area get a little bit higher and went to trim it down today. The line would last about two minutes and break or disappear. So frustrating to have to add line every two minutes of trimming so I called customer support.

All they stated was they could only recommend using the xtreme line they well. I went out and found that exact line and it did a little better. I got about three minutes of trim time before the line broker.

Does anyone have any superior line they can recommend as I like the ST-100 trimmer but just need better trimmer line.

Recently got an FS90R Stihl weedwacker and couldn’t keep string in that thing to save my life. It always broke super easy due to the power it has. This stuff lasts quite a while against chain link fences and concrete sidewalks.

Cuts very fast and clean too.

This is excellent string for your lawn trimmer it lasts about twice as long as regular string that I have used at an excellent price.
