15 Best Truck For 10K (2022 Updated)

I’ve already organized everything that used to take up half of my truck for camping/overlanding into it, and there’s still plenty of room to spare. I plan to mod the far back portion of the drawers to accommodate a couple of deep cycle batteries once I get my solar setup in.

It’s got plenty of room even in my short bed Ram to stretch out, so I threw a memory foam topper on top of it, and my sleeping bags. I expect it’ll be plenty comfortable when I hit the road for 6 months or so coming up soon.

Shipping was quick, and it arrived neatly packed. Instructions were delightfully condescending and absolutely crystal clear, like getting walked through it by a longtime friend who enjoys nothing more than ribbing you.

I did find that in my particular case there wasn’t much thread to grab ahold of on the drivers side cargo rings on the J hooks, even when the Decked was perfectly centered. I can’t imagine the issue is with the hardware or the Decked system itself though, but it was a bit of a pain.

I’m probably an idiot though, haha! Other than that, installation was easy, and I knocked it out by myself in a few hours. My dogs don’t know what to make of the new bed height, but they’ll have to get used to it.

Handling of the vehicle is the same. Let’s just say I drive. sportingly? Even fully loaded with my stuff, it doesn’t feel any different overall when driving. If I could come up with an actual drawback to this system, it might look something like this: I might have to start tying off my grocery bags before I set them in the bed and close my tonneau over top.

First grocery trip, I thought I had lost a thing of coffee creamer, alfredo, and a head of lettuce. Went back out and opened the tailgate, and my truck regurgitated all three in a hilarious moment. Girlfriend still hasn’t let me live it down.

Just buy it. you know you want to!.

I just installed my Decked toolbox. So far I love it. When I called customer Their customer service department to confirm the box would fit with my access tonneau cover model # 62329 I was told adamantly it would not fit with the decked toolbox.

Because the return policy is not very attractive cost wise and it took 3 full weeks to receive here in Alberta Canada i was worried. So I did my own measurements and checked it twice and it does fit.

What decked missed is they went by Acess fit numbers instead of calculating themselves. The part that was missed is they took the measurements on the width And did not calculator a part of their toolbox actually fits over the front of the truck box right behind the window.

My truck is a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD here’s a photo so any other purchasers will know in advance and not have to worry about placing the order. But so far I do love the toolbox no complaints about it, not cheap In fact it might be the most expensive toolbox available.

I’m hoping to have it for the most of the rest of my lifetime so I wanted a good one that I could count on, The latter feature is just a sweet touch my truck is so high it’s really made access nice without having to open up the entire Tanneau cover and climb into the truck box for Access.

As a footnote I was able to find a really nice 3500 pound winch that fits with room to spare underneath the toolbox very happy about that,.

I have been driving pickup trucks for the last 20 years and have always used a traditional crossbed tool box. I just bought a new 2021 Sierra 2500 AT4 and was looking for a new look (no tool box) but still required the storage for tools, hunting and camping gear.

I was a little skeptical about going with a full bed drawer system mainly because of the loss off 12” of depth in the bed. I have had the decked system now for about 3 months and don’t regret it one but.

I love not having to climb into the bed to get to my gear. The drawers are easy to organize and are extremely durable. It makes it very easy to remove tools and add hunting and camping gear as needed.

The loss of the 12” of bed depth takes a little getting used to as everything in the bed needs to be strapped down. I bought a few different sized cargo nets and they work perfectly. I’d rather have the organization and ease of getting to my gear over the extra few minutes to throw a cargo net over items being transported in the bed.

The decked system was easy to install. Only took an hour (by myself) once I laid out all the parts and read through the directions. I highly recommend the decked system and the accessories that go with it.

This this is stupid fast. Almost to the point where you are silly if you don’t order a good full set of replacement parts right off the bat. I took this out for its first real run out in a good open space.

Took a few tumbles here and there just adjusting to how totally fast it wants to go. My advice: Buy a wheelie bar, god forbid you try to gun it in pavement or carpet, you’ll just do a back flip. Buy a full set of Caster blocks and steering blocks, (what holds the bearings for front and rear, and what turns the front wheels) Buy new shock towers.

The shock towers did not break, yet, but they seems a little more flimsy than I would really like. One of the castor blocks DID break, not 10 minutes into that first run. Was in a slide coming around behind me, and tagged my shoe.

Snapped the block like nothing. So yeah. Great deal with the battery and charger included. It is everything you need. Just be prepared to drop another $120 in upgraded aluminum parts after the fact.

When I received the car, plugged in the battery, and hit the throttle it would jump forward then stop, while the steering still worked. So why the 5-star review? I reached out to support and their support was right on top of it.

They got me up and running in minutes by doing a simple reprogram of the controller – so no manufacturing issues, just a battery compatibility issue that was easily fixed by reprogramming. The unit is incredibly fast and reliable, gets great usage per charge, and is a ton of fun to drive around with my two boys.

Ive had the Rustler VXL for a few weeks now and let me tell you. its a ton of fun. The package that I purchased did not come with a battery or charger. Which I preferred, so I can purchase some quality 2s and 3s lipo batteries and a versatile charger.

I highly recommend the Rustler for a beginner RC hobbyist, since theres an endless amount of information online regarding mods and repairs. Which you will inevitably do. One thing to note, you will end up spending money on this when something breaks.

However mosts parts are fairly cheap and readily available online or at local hobby shops.

I bought it for my nephew’s birthday. It looks amazing and bright color. The paint and finish are very nice. Great quality and holds up to all his rough play. Great toy for my nephew.

Was supposed to buy this little toy for myself, but my 12yrs son took it away. Its hard and well built. I love this light silver color, very silver,The real color is more beautiful than the picture shows.

Very nice toy car, my daughter love it a lot, the material is high quality and the car’s door can open really surprise me. Also the pull and run feature is really fun! Will recommend it.

Overall lives up to its Traxxas name. FAST, fun and pretty durable enough to withstand my young kids abuse. Really a great all around RC, and I’ve owned many others in the past as comparison. Complaint: Would be nice however it receive a wall charger compared to the cigarette charger that comes standard in the box.

Also seems to have a defect where the fastening clips hold down the body shell. I have to really push the shell down firmly and wiggle the fasteners into their holes w/out damaging the shell. My Traxxas Slash 4×4 does not have this issue at all.

Other than that, I would buy another one of these models with no hesitation. I already put in an order for a Russtler 1/10 scale 4×2 and will see how that goes?.

its my fault for not reading throughly, and for being an Amateur, I assumed a 200 car would come with everything. so a warning to others, IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE BATTERY OR CHARGER AND THOSE PARTS ARE EXPENSIVE! lol.

So far, I have run this through a few batteries and am quite pleased with the results. After the first drive I made some tweaks that are probably common with any new purchase. I did have to adjust the end stops which were off on the travel of the servo to prevent over steering.

The Servo also is not centered out the gate. I don’t race so this isn’t a major issue, I only noticed this when performing the end stop adjustments that turning left is a little less of a rotation then turning right.

I will center at some point, but the difference isn’t noticeable while bashing. I also had the rear right wheel spin off from the hub. I would highly recommend going through the screws and verify that everything is tight from the factory and use Loctite where needed.

As mentioned above this is normally a procedure that gets done on a new purchase, but I wanted to see what this thing was made of out of the box. This rig definitely seems durable from the start. I was impressed with the abuse it has endured with the cycles I have run it on so far.

This is my first jump to a 3S rig and found it to be a blast to drive. It is defiantly made for off road and built tough. I smacked this head on into a post full throttle “not an intended test” and was surprised nothing broke.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new rig and am very satisfied with my purchase.

The Arrma Senton is an extremely well built and durable RC truck. I bought it as a basher and I like the short course truck platform. A few things to note I installed a 15 tooth pinion gear, This is to keep the truck running a little bit cooler, you dont really lose much in top end speed The ESC, is problematic, I had to replace mine within the first week.

I kept getting thermal shut downs even though everything was running cool, whether I ran it with 2S batteries or 3S batteries. I checked many forums and found that it is a reoccurring problem with this model.

The ESC I bought is a Hobbywing Xerun XR8 SCT. It runs the truck flawlessly. I have no more issues and it works perfectly with the brushless motor that came with the truck. You will need to buy the hobbywing program box separately for this ESC in order to access all of the programming.

Out of the box this ESC only will do forward and break, you have to have the box in order to change the set up for reverse, and it gives you a ton of other options. It also has a USB port type C so that you can hook it up to your PC and Download firmware.

It also allows you to check the voltage on your lipo batteries. The box is very handy and not a gimmick. I changed the receiver in the truck because I use a different transmitter, the flysky noble, which is an excellent radio.

That being said, the radio that comes with the truck is decent and has a nice option of being able to run the truck at 50% 75% and 100% speed rates, which is a nice feature if this is your first fast vehicle.

The tires on the truck grip well, I have used it on hill climbs, through grass, on sand, over gravel and on asphalt. Being that the truck is pretty fast, it doesnt take much to put it into a spin if you turn the wheels sharply, so to get the best performance from the vehicle you need to have good throttle control and not oversteer This truck can take a tremendous beating.

I have taken jumps and botched the landing many times causing the vehicle to flip over four, five or six times in a row. The body shell has not cracked or split. I have not broken any body mounts. One thing I found with the body mounts is that the holes for the body pins were a little too tight, so I used a drill bit to make those holes just a hair bigger, makes getting the pins in an out much easier This truck would have gotten five stars, but the ESC issue made me drop one star.

The option that I picked to replace it along with the program box I mentioned will set you back an extra $130. Also be aware of that particular ESC needs to have the wires for themotor and the battery lead soldered on.

So it is not a simple plug and play. I still think the truck is an excellent value for the price, it really is a very durable and well put together vehicle. I have two rock crawlers, one of which I have completely rebuilt three different times and between all of those builds have spent well north of $2000 to get the vehicle I want out of it.

So when I say that this truck is a good value for its durability and the experience it will give you, its coming from an honest and practical mindset.

In the description it stated that it had a bad motor. Yes it did, because it was run through a mud puddle and never cleaned. I’ve had to replace the motor, esc, bearings and it still will not run without overheating.

Next time I will just buy new- will be way cheaper.

This is the tiniest charm I ever saw and actually was surprised it wasn’t lost in the packaging. The cut of the cat was good but definitely not worth the price I paid even on sale. I’ll never purchase Online again.

The charm was was very nice. The “O” ring that connects it to the bracelet was less than I expected. I had to go to a local craft store to get a replacement that would work.

This is a small bracelet charm that I wear on a necklace. It gives off a nice shine and has very defining characteristics that gets many compliments.Super happy with this purchase.

BUY IT FOR THE SMALL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE! It is pretty sturdy. My nephew drove it everywhere possible (including off the tables). It can handle some rough playing. If your small one is a Truck fan, they will go coo coo for this gift and it’ll warm your heart and before i start rambling, just get this toy.

Got this for my son, he loves construction trucks. The truck itself was a little smaller than I thought but for kids I guess it’s fine. It has good range for what it is and pretty fast with new batteries.

The only thing he don’t like to much is the controller. The front two wheels don’t turn right and left, so it uses a technology like a tank would, where one set of wheels turn one way and the other turn another way.

So the controller just has two knobs that go either up or down. He’s having trouble with it but he still loves it. The bed lifts up and down perfectly and easy to use. The controller also has some buttons for sounds and has songs.

All in all it’s a good little truck for kids.

I have only girls in my family so picking out a toy for a boy was a little bit difficult. I wanted something different And after some research I found this purchase was going to be the best. I purchased this For my boyfriend 4 year old nephew for Christmas.

The videos I received from his mother were priceless. What 4 year old doesn’t love remote control trucks. ? I highly recommend.

Good construction Set, with more models online on the meccano Website. Can teach a child about basic mechanics and entertain at same time.

It is rather good quality, easy to assemble,the packaging is awesome.The amount of pieces and the instructions seem ok.
