it wont break i crashed into a storm drain at 45mph and striaght into the corner launching the SAVAGE 20+ feet in the air doing uncountable flips then crashed and bounced to then roll on ground about 15 feet flipping still thinking this thing is done but when i flipped it over to see ifits ok, and it WAS STILL RUNNING, i drove it offasif nothing happened, i was blown away NOTHING was damaged,and the gash the drain left is unbelieveable, it definetly should not be rolling.

I love this thing!!! The only problem is that the steering and throttle servo are not all that great. That will be the first upgrade.

This little vehicle sure comes to life when you hit full throttle on pavement it rips. I bored the exhaust out, and put bushings (flat washers) into the rear swing arms and the rear knuckles at the bottoms.

I moved the rear shock out to the max positions top and bottom, added preload as need for a low rid and enough clearance. I also put three large bolts tapped together and put into the front little pocket area with a zip tie around the chassis.

If this is not done it will flip itself with wheelies and be no good for full throttle use. Because of this I cut most of the back fenders and body where the triangles are in the middle out leave the shape of the fenders but remove max material so you get max air flow through the body otherwise again the flip overs will happen as wind gets under the body.

When these small mods are done this little car rips so try not to hit anything. Plus it just sounds cool forget electric and batteries there budget and the car sounds even more budget. Go NITRO POWER.

I have to tell you this is the most fun toy I have ever owned and I am a grown man 50 years old. These things are ridiculously fast and unbelievably tough. I have probably barrel rolled it a total of 100 times anyway and it is still going strong they go so fast it is very easy to drive over your capabilities.

Just buy one you will not regret it we build a track and my wife is complaining she never sees me anymore! Two of my friends also have them and the battles you have on the track are just unbelievably fun so don’t think about it anymore just get it you will have it running in about five minutes it takes longer to get it out of the box.

This is a great truck and is a great time killer. With a few friends you can race em around for hours. Good on fuel and ever bit as fast as they claim. This is very durable too. Should anything break though the replacement parts are cheap and easy to find.

Brilliant colours. Pigments look very vibrant. Haven’t used them yet but the quality looks great. Took a bit longer than expected to arrive, but am guessing covid-19 had somethingt to do with it!

I liked the sound bar more for playing music from my phone than hooked up to the TV. I didn’t like losing the stereo on the TV when it was hooked up and only having sound thru the bar. Overall very nice and easy to use.

The stereo sound is superior, much deeper than the built-in speaker of my XPS 9550 (high definition only), but your sound card must support the surround sound to transmit the surround sound.

Purchased three of these RC cars for my kids for Christmas after reading a number of positive reviews. Wasn’t sure that we would be getting a quality RC car at this price point, but went with it since it was their first experience with a true RC car.

My expectations were blown away. The build quality is excellent. The cars are fast and take a pretty good beating. The cars handle well, and the controls are very easy to get used to. The kids were jumping them over curbs and doing 180 skids after about 10 minutes of play.

Not everything can be perfect, but a company that handles imperfection can still get a 5-star review. After about 30 minutes of play, the axel of one of the three cars broke. Of course, I had one disappointed kid.

BUT one email to Customer Service and the car was gladly replaced by the company. That is stand up!If I had one con for the cars, it would be the battery life. We can get between 20-30 minutes of drive time on a single battery.

But, researching other RC cars, this seems to be fairly common, so I don’t hold it as a big negative. Plus, the car comes with two batteries, so we just keep them both charged for each car and make the quick switch when one runs out.

We got this car for my son for Christmas. He loved it for the few days he was able to play with it. I liked the controller, the range let the car go up and the road easily. Unfortunately, the durability is terrible.

We only drove it in the street and we didnt put it through anything terrible but the wheel broke off so now, it just sits unused. What a shame. Wouldnt suggest buying. Spend a bit more and get a better RC car.

*UPDATE*I was contacted recently by the company or at least, employees of this company, about a remedy to my situation regarding the broken RC car. They offered to send me a new car if I changed my review to five stars and deleted this review.

I told them No, you can send me a new car and I will update the review. I feel like when a product breaks in a certain amount of time its the companies duty to replace it. I will not give the car five stars though because the problems on the RC car have not been fixed.

Although the new RC car does work, the axles that gold the wheels on are still plastic. This makes for a very easy break. Heres what I mean, where the wheel connects to the vehicle, its a small plastic tube holding the tire to the motor that makes it drive.

I didnt know that when I purchased it but I realized it when the first one broke driving it on a flat, open driveway. The RC car is very fun and my child does enjoy it but I feel like its only a matter of time before the wheels break again.

I did raise the star rating by one star for them sending out a new one, that was very kind but I still only give three stars because of the quality and because I dont feel like its good business practice to base your persuade customers to give five star ratings because the company sends you a new products without fixing the issues that make the product break.

UPDATE!The company has emailed me again over a few months and has offered a new product. An RC Truck that looks to be better quality. Ill update once I receive this new vehicle. I will say though, the customer service and the companys initiative to fix the issues weve experienced has been absolutely top notch.

In light of their contact and need to help satisfy their customers, Im giving them five stars. I think the company has the best in mind and they are trying to improve their products and service.

I purchased two of these for my 4 year old (who is quite advanced) and my 10 year old grandchild. The adults keep stealing the cars and playing with them! They are quite fun and fast. The quality is very good too, as I believe they are meant to be durable for crashes and getting stuck under our cars due to misadventures.

The battery life for the cars is less than I’d like, but I believe suitable for the type cars and what they are capable of doing. It didn’t take long to get the hang of the remote and everyone young and old are enjoying these.

I highly recommend this car. The customer service is SUPERB, as they sent a replacement car overnight (fed-x), b/c of a malfunction. Never had such great customer service. Again, I’m impressed with the product, even more so with this company.

What a fun and different type of RC car. We got the car for our nephew who is still a bit young for the toy, but he is still having a great time. The remote is fantastic for kids. It makes them feel like they are driving a real car.

I can definitely say that the ability to drive in all directions keeps him busy much longer since its not link any of his other toys. My only negative is that it doesn’t feel like it was built very strong, so I am curious how many crashes it will survive.

That being said, for the price, you can’t beat it. There will be plenty of fun to be had with this car, just be carful with items on the floor.

This is such a cool and unique take on remote control cars. It goes every which way you can imagine and its a blast to drive around the house and rugged enough to handle outside on the driveway. Its steering wheel controller is a neat touch too.

The directions you can drive are endless and really keeps my cat on his toes! My kids love challenging each other to who can do the coolest tricks. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t gotten in on the competition from time to time.

Monster trucks are cool to my Godson but a remote control monster truck is even cooler. What I look for in a toy is durability, good value, I want it to look appealing and I want it to be entertaining.

My children look for in a toy is they want it to go fast (most of the time), they want to feel like they are older than they are and they want to have fun. Sharper Image always has great products but their toys are some of the best.

This side drifter truly slides on its side. I will admit, I was apprehensive to put batteries in the remote but I am glad I did because this thing sure can move.

Absolutely horrible. Do not buy. I’m the dummy who bought one, it broke on the first day (mechanical). Bought another with the protection plan. It broke on the first day (electrical) Walmart will not refund either one.

The protection plan doesn’t kick in until you’ve had it a year. Allstate will not help. Both Walmart and Allstate do not stand by their word or products.

Car is overall good. I think its low turn motor cause its fast but has a hard time stopping. Another con would be that the controller trigger is kind of small, and my finger is kind of tight. someone with big extra thicc fingers, I could see actually not being able to use the controller.

Side note controller needs 4 AA batteries.

Very good buy. Have had no issues with it, over all good bang for your buck, there are lots of upgrade options for it, great for adults and kids givin you can turn down the throttle trim on the controller so it’s slow for kids and you can turn it up to make it faster as they progress on driving,.

I read many review about how tough this truck was, but I have not been able to experience that. Out of the box there was a wheel barring missing so one of the front wheels was loose. Then after running it for 5 minutes the Pinon gear came loose and it was very time consuming and frustrating to work on.

After fixing that I went to run it again and not even another 5 minutes one of the rear shocks broke. After fixing that one of the set screws for the rear drive shaft fell out so only the front wheels spins.

I havent even been able to go through one complete battery with the truck without something going wrong. I have been very disappointed with this truck because I spend more time and money trying to fix it than running it.

The motor is very powerful which I like but it only lasts for two minutes without something else going wrong. Parts should not be missing or loose front the factory.

So far this has been a great fun little truck. Nice finish, pretty solid. So far pretty durable but I upgraded a lot immediately. There are 2 major drawbacks to this rc and 1 minor. 1st and most importantly, part support.

The regular parts are pretty easy to find. It’s the hop ups which are totally necessary are where you run into the issues. A lot of the hardened steel parts are on backorder everywhere especially the the drivetrain hd parts.

The diff outdrives are nowhere to be found. Also parts are pricey. The 60t idler gear is m. i. a. which is necessary if you plan on running 3s. Which leads me to issue number 2. This thing runs hot! If you plan on running 3s.

So more upgrades are necessary. In my opinion a 4000kv is too high. It gets hot quickly especially on grass. So you need a smaller pinion. And some type of heatsink to help dissipate all the heat. Which leads to final negative.

This truck takes forever to work on. Not hard but you have to remove a lot of screws to get to what you need to get to. I haven’t fixed the pinion because I only want to open it one more time so that I can put it in all at once.

(Idler & pinion) it takes about an hour to get to the motor and put it back together. You may think I hate this truck but I don’t. I really enjoy it but I want people tobe aware of the issues since they’re not mentioned.

Hopefully it’ll be relieved as hpi is coming back and parts should be more readily available.

I have run 2 batteries through it so far and i love it. I have been using a 6000mah 3s lipo and it has so much power. I give it 4 stars because it has already bent a front dog bone (Not through crashing) and the esc or motor was cutting out but it fixed it’s self.

If you buy this i would highly recommend getting some spare dog bones and a wheelie bar. I would also reccomend getting some better tires as the stock ones are not too great with 3S. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an RC car with alot of power!.

The sensor works ok, but is extremely sensitive to any electromagnetic disturbances. Especially, close to gasoline engine area the sensor picks ignition EMC and gives false beepings and distance values.

Use this system only on the back of the car for rear sensing. I had to use ferrite rings and aluminium tape to EMC shield the control box to get it running in my car. The beeping sound volume is very high and it comes from the led display unit, so no way to turnt it off.

Excellent truck right out of the box. I updated the center and rear diffs by replacing the oil with silly putty for better drifting

This thing is absolutely awesome! If your into this hobby the SBR 2.0 is a must have for your collection.

Lo e this rc and a great addition to my collection. For all those who are thinking about getting or getting. I’d recommend you getting skid protectors for the hood/bonnet. This truck likes to flip backwards and forwards and over flip wheelie bar as when driving.

Very well built and ease of swaping parts is a big plus!! The V5 is well worth the money!! Powerful and looks of the mid 50s step-side trucks is awesome! A+++

If you’re going to purchase one of these I would recommend taking it apart and making sure everything has Loctite on it just to make sure everything is properly tightened

Awesome RC vehicle. All ready to go other than needing your own battery and charger. Great fun and this has the e-brake where the Arrma felony does not. Wouldn’t suggest for kids might be a little much for them to handle.

So get yourself one and let her eat.

You cant go wrong with a arrma infraction . Built for speed or drift. Just buy one. They are only $700 new, lol. Well worth it!!

Awesome and fun truck! There absolutely needs to be a 4-link suspension kit available though so it can be lifted with ease. Also, itd be great if there was an assortment of different length driveshafts available so that it can be lifted or if you want to change the wheel base for whatever reason.

All in all, very neat and scale truck thats a blast to drive!.

I cannot believe the true quality the truck is packed with right out of the box. Looks, body detail, suspension components. everything is like a real truck. It is completely upgrade-able too. You can make it a tow rig, crawler, sled puller, low boy, etc.

, its all waiting to unlock your dream come true in a 1/10 scale version.

Bought it as a shelf queen/tow rig for my crawlers. Not a capable crawler but heaps of fun towing a trailer around the house! Also was my 1st purchase from HT Direct and I’ll 100% shop with them again! Very fast!!.

3. 5 year old and 7 year really like it. its the best thing ever. Its speed is great for kids and those not experienced with rc to control. It allows the brain to figure out how to drive without becoming overwhelmed by the speed.

It also looks realistic. Its really the toy that ever kid whos played with toy trucks would ever want. Theres a transcendent quality to the driving experience. Since it looks so real, its easy to imagine you are driving it.

After a buddy built an indoor course, I bought one of these not expecting much. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. It crawls like my 1/8 with the same torque and agility. The upgrades are abundant and inexpensive.

I look forward to a lot of indoor fun with this little guy.

So freaking fast right out of the box. I love that I could just charge the batteries, put some batteries in the transmitter and go tear up the yard without any set up. I took it to a skate park and was hitting some huge jumps, pulling off front/back flips.

Had many bad crash landings on grass and pavement. Only pulled out one turn buckle and fixed it in no time. Love the self righting feature, it doesn’t work every time (mainly because of angle of the ground), but it works 9 out of 10 times for me so far.
