20 Best Truck Washing Brush (2022 Updated)

You get what you pay for. Its a good product. Fairly sturdy. Doesn’t seem to scratch paint and is light weight. The foam handle spins when wet, does not stay in place. Overall its a decent car/truck washing tool.

First time I used it the handle was real flimsy and wouldn’t stay locked in the outstretched position. I decided to try another broom handle and telescoping paint roller handle, but unfortunately they are different sizes.

I finished my wash but it was harder that what it should’ve been. I’m going to try to return it.

I bought the brush for a friend so I could wash his house windows. It worked very well as far as washing the windows inside and outside. My only ‘dissatisfaction” was that the handle would tend to loosen when extended.

Otherwise a great product.

I mainly use this brush for cleaning my care and it is soft and gentle on the finish of my car. I bought this to replace an older brush that broke. It is a good value since the previous one lasted me over 5 years.

It has the soft rubber bumper around the brush to prevent accidental scuffing of the car.

Everything about it is perfect. the bristles are soft, the handles a great length, and it makes the job of washing the car a lot easier and faster for me. I wasn’t expecting it save me as much time as it did.

I use this brush to scrape the dirt on my car loose and a hose to spray it off. It is very easy to use. It won’t get the tougher stains out, but it’ll clean the majority of the car in a few minutes.

I had one of these brushes before, do not know what hapened to it. So glad I saw it here in Oreilly’s and had to buy it. Makes car washing effortless and fast! 100% protection never leaves any marks or scratches.

Well since it’s winter here in upstate NY, I’m mainly using this as a snow brush. But, I love it for that. The bristles are soft, yet won’t scratch the surface of the black paint. The handle is long to reach across my tonneau cover and the roof of my Ram 1500.

Shipping was fast; description was accurate – can’t go wrong.

Bought this to wash the roof of my travel trailer. Worked as expected. Good quality and got the job done.

Use this instead of a dirty brush in a diy carwash stall. It your very own, you can keep it clean and free of junk that will scratch your paint. Using mine with the Carlisle 362005500 wood handle, fits fine, screws in nice and tight.

If the car wash owner says, “Hey, you can’t use that here”, you say, “Hey, it’s the same amount of time either way, but your brush is filthy!” But that won’t likely happen anyway, as no one ever sees the owners to these places, especially when their machines eat your money and malfunction.

Still, if you do, then I’ve told you what to say. These people don’t love you like I do- they only love your quarters.

I used this brush to stain my 1000 ft square deck. I could not be more happy with the performance of this product. 1. The brush width is just right for covering two side by side 6 inch wide deck floor planks.

2, Holds the stain in the bristles well so that all of the stain does not come out at once. 3. After staining the entire deck floor, not a single bristle came out of the brush and stuck to the floor.

4. Since the bristles are very flexible, it does a pretty good job of staining the vertical areas between the planks as you move the brush over them.

I got this to use for maintenance cleans in my shower. Bristles are soft enough to not scratch your face. Someone else commented this would be fine to use to clean cars and I agree with them unless you are completely obsessive about your car.

Would recommend and fits a general house broom handle. You could probably suds up with these bristles.

This brush is not so soft that it doesn’t clean my car. On a scale of 1-10 for softness, I would give it an 8. 5. It’s soft, but still rigid enough to thoroughly remove dirt from around the door handles and emblems on my car.

I would buy this brush again whenever this one wears out.

This is a car wash brush with rubber bumper. It is kind of soft not to scrub the paint of the vehicle. However, there is no water supply line inside to wash the car. I bought this brush to use it with my 30 ft DocaPole for gutter cleaning.

It is lighter than my large car wash brush. This brush is kind of soft to scrub the side of the gutter. It is OK to scrub it few times to clean the dirt off the gutter. Just this brush is still kind of heavy for a 30 ft DocaPole.

My DocaPole was blended in bow sharp and too soft to scrub the gutter at 20 ft with a 30 ft long pole. After all, I got my work done with this brush and I got my $10 back already. About my DocaPole, I used it to trim a 25 ft branch and washed a 20 ft high gutter.

All together (Docapole $80, saw head $28, and brush $9. 99) costed me $119 for the first time use. I earn some money back for the second and consequent uses.

The brush brissels do not hold there shape every long. washing the car and cleaning the hot tub and windows makes this product useless in less then one season. This is the third product in less then 3 years.

I will be calling the factory and requesting product replacement in the near future. In the long-run the company should fix the issue.

Bought this brush hoping to do both my deck and siding with it, but unfortunately it won’t work for me. The bristles are too stiff. Did work well on my deck though and you can lean into it fairly hard without the bristles rolling over.

Can’t speak to the water flow since I didn’t use that feature.

Just exactly what was described ! Great for jobs that need a stiff and sturdy brush ! It didn’t work for what we tried to use it for, cleaning algae off the siding of our house the bristles were too stiff.

So make sure you need a stiff bristle brush this is what your looking for !.

Broke old one throwing off of top of camper. Live and learn. Don’t throw off of roofs. Exact replacement for original without having to purchase another complete set with handle. Very soft and use on all of my vehicles and camper.

Also does good job on outside of house windows, telescope dome and house aluminum gutters. Multi use brush.

After reading negative comments about a lot of different brushes I wasn’t sure I would find a brush I would love but this one checks all the important boxes for me. (1) Fits a standard brush handle – CHECK.

I was able to use the wooden handle from my old worn out brush. (2) Soft but sturdy bristles – CHECK. The bristles are soft but clean pretty good. I tested it on my old Suburban that was really dirty from sitting under a tree for a few months.

It took a little effort but the brushed removed the heavy grime build up. And the brush holds a lot of soapy water going from the bucket to the car. By the time I finished the wash job, this brush had suck most of the water out of the bucket.

I’ve never had a brush before that could do that. (3) Brush head fits in my 5 gallon soap bucket. – CHECK. Perfect fit. The quality seems to be really good. I think I’ll get many years of satisfaction from this brush.

Love this brush head. I use it on an extension pole to wash my siding and remove cobwebs. Strong enough to remove mold and mildew, but soft enough not to scratch or mar the surface. Also great for washing cars, cleaning the canopy over my doorway, and removing webs and grime from exterior lighting.

Just a terrific all purpose brush.

This brush has great potential with its long body, but the bristles on the brush are just way too soft to actually scrub anything off the car. Youre going to have to use a lot of wheel cleaner to help this brush out.

I just wouldnt get it again if I had the choice. That being said, Im giving it 2 stars because it did help a little bit in cleaning, but not as much as I expected.

It works okay. Makes the suds really well due to softness of bristles, but its an awkward length as you still need to bend over. And kinda wish the bristles were stiffer for this purpose.

This brush is very soft split tip dense bristle and has a long sturdy handle. It is perfect for my needs. It seems to be a much higher quality than I can find at the grocery or HD. The handle has a hole for hanging it up.

It does a good job with out risk of scratching delicate surfaces. It holds a lot of soapy water because of the dense bristle count. It is not a heavy duty wire brush to scrub rust of steel – but that not what I needed or wanted.

If this last as long as I think it will, I will be a very happy camper.

I use a stiffer brush for washing the tire and this brush has soft bristles which make it perfect for washing the wheel/rim without damaging the surface. One thing I really like is the soft bristles hold a large amount of soapy water which for me speeds up the cleaning process.

This a Good Brush for cleaning the dirt and grime from off your car. soft bristles. I scrubbed the little gaps around the windows. I’m happy with the results. the car wash misses those spots but this brush doesn’t.

Even though I’m lazy somehow I mustered the gumption to fill a bucket with soap and hot water and this brush and now my car looks much better!.

I purchased this long handle brush to replace a name brand one that lasted me many years. These brushes aren’t always the easiest to find, so I was thrilled to find this one, and at a great price! I’ve had it for nearly a year now and the bristles have retained their shape perfectly.

It does a great job on rims or a quick wash of the car. Also comes in handy for cleaning the large trash cans provided by the local trash company.

Needed a brush to agitate the degreaser and built up oil/grime on my engine in my car and this brush does great. It’s not the most firm bristles for serious scrubbing but the fact that there’s a lot of give makes getting into right spots a lot easier.

The handle is comfortable and it has a very sturdy feel. Also the oil and degreaser washed off very nicely leaving a clean brush when I was finished.

This brush, intended for washing your car, is soft enough to use to scrub your feet clean. Just put some soap on the bristles and then get that dead skin off your feet. Being soft enough for your feet, this brush certainly is gentle to your car.

And the rubber bumper around the brush’s business end further protects your car or whatever you wash with this brush.

Just purchased a camper that is all aluminum. I was told to be very careful with what type of brushes to use because of the coating that is put on from the factory. I purchased the 10″ Tri Level Brush after a lot of research, from Detail King.

Well I would like to say FANTASTIC!!!!!! What a great brush. The part that holds the brush is engulfed into the sponge. therefore, nothing hard from the brush itself hits the object you are brushing.

Got this the other day from detail king. Someone called me from this business to see how i liked the new brush. Well, I couldn’t help my self so i replied. ” looks like someone cut half the hairs off the brush.

This is a very nice brush, very high quality! However you cannot expect any brush to not scratch a vehicles paint. This brush is no doubt safer to use to prevent “less” scratches, but no matter what The best thing to wash a dark vehicle with is something that is microfiber/chenille material.

It is better than the average brush by far though!! I love how it has bristles up the sides to have more cleaning surface. I use it to wash my trailers and campers. Highly recommended!.

Needed brush to wash off love bugs after trip to Ocala. Purchased this brush with pole and it worked great. Soft bristles and rubber around head to prevent scratching.

Overall. It’s great for reaching the roof of my van, and it works well on my gold Civic. The van is white, and never REALLY looks clean unless I use a sponge

with this car brush and long handle. I was in a big hurry and did not have time to drive to a car wash and wait in long line to have my car washed. So I pulled this car wash brush out, filled bucket and suds and started the job.

I washed, rinsed and dried my car off with towels in like 20 minutes or less, counting the rims and tires. I was not trying to be perfect like a 4 hour job. But for 20 minutes it looks pretty awesome to me.

I purchased this at my local Advance store on 5/02/12 after looking at a ton of brushes – all of which were much higher in price, and more than I wanted to pay for a simple good car wash brush. I put the brush to use on two of my cars as soon as I got home with it.

Using it and dish detergent in a bucket of water, I quickly cleaned a bad accumulation of several months of sticky grime from both cars. This brush is dense and soft, with long enough fibers, to do a good job without damaging paint.

The head is only eight-inches long by a good five-six inches or so wide, and fits easily into a bucket of soapy water. The painted four-foot metal handle is also sturdy, and the whole brush is light.

The brush head is almost rubber like, so it shouldn’t cause any damage from contact with an automotive finish – unless you purposely beat it against the vehicle. The brush head and handle actually have what appears to be very good threaded assemblies.

The threads match those on an enxtending fiberglass sanding pole that sheetrock people use. That means this brush will see more use by me – and for more than just washing a car or pickup truck. If you haven’t been using a brush like this for washing your vehicle, you’ll be in for a treat using one – and you can’t go wrong at the Advance Auto Price price for this one.

I used this product to wash my fiberglass travel trailer. It works well in all respects and the bristles do not scratch the finish. As a senior citizen the weight is manageable for me. Extending and contracting the length is simple and straight forward, but required closing off the water flow, which is convenient at the hose connection.

My only reservations are that the hose connection is a plastic material and I would have preferred brass for increased sturdiness. Another is that all the water comes out of the brush in the center; in one place.

I must admit this is good for blasting off debris on the roof, but I think that spreading it out could make washing faster. The third is that it cannot get between some structures on the roof because of the brush width.

Selling another brush that attaches inline with the tubing might be desirable. Over all I am pleased with this product and I recommend it.

Bought this as part of a combo group; it’s exactly what we were looking for.

The telescopic pole works great to wash my class A RV. Connect the hose and you are all set.

love this brush. lots of bristles to hold plenty of water. also has a great rubber bumper on the edging of the plastic to protect the car. Rubber bumper is secured very well to brush so it will not slip off.

Bristles are very soft, will not scratch car but cleans car very well. also has a hole in the plastic of the brush where the handle goes into so you can feed water though a handle and through brush. another great option.

very light weight. would recommend this plastic brush for any car enthusiast as this thing is wonderful especially for the price.

I clean houses…windows, gutters, eaves, vinyl siding etc. The brush holds lots of water and the long soft bristles get into nooks and crannies. Also a great brush for cars and boats. Great price.

Really awesome brush. Very solid and well made. I use it exclusively to wash my F150 without a single scratch on any of the hard or soft surfaces.

I was hoping for an alternative to a bucket and sponge, this is not it. The angle is all wrong, when attached to the power wash lance unless you’re a contorsionist (or have a very good osteopath) there’s no way this stays flat against the surface.

The head or heel of the brush is always hitting something dueto the odd angle. Utter waste of time and money, it’s going back. Also too soft for wheels.

From my perspetive this brush is not for the cars cleaning/washing. It is simply too hard/too sharp. Not recommended for cars! For different purposes for sure can be useful.

It’s great for cleaning the paintwork, but brush to soft for cleaning the wheels. It is really hard to join to the Karcher hose unit, I sprayed with silicon spray and that sorted out that issue, maybe something Karcher should look at informing others on there packaging or provide bit of lubrication with their sales.

I’ve used this brand of car wash brush for decades and it’s the best car wash brush ever. Good flow control on the handle and a nice narrow end to get into those hard to reach places. Only had to buy a new one because the dog chewed the end off my old one.

Great brush, I’ve had them before. Good front bristles to easily clean mag wheels. Hard to find and not the cheapest but the best I’ve ever had and last for years.

i searched high and low for this brush and was glad to find mitre10 stocked it , can sometimes be difficult to find wax sticks for it but overall its the best car brush i ever used

Could not recommend this product more. The price is brilliant and the brush works brilliant, so overall I would have to say it was a brilliant buy.

An essential accessory for the karcher washer.

Great bit of kit, I hate car washing and this makes life easier. The only thing that is missing is a way to soap through the brush.

I work part time for a Car hire company. They use these brushes and I was so impressed I bought one for my own personal use. I now can clean our two cars exceptionally well, in reduced time and most importantly for me with no back ache.

I simply dip the brush into my bucket of hot soapy water brush then rinse. These brushes are not the cheapest on the market but they really work and do not scratch your car and give a very effective clean.
