20 Best Trucks For Campers (2022 Updated)

Overall a good set up. Did a test fit before heading to the mountains so there was no struggle to figure things out. We put everything back as it was packed. When we arrived to set up, one of the tent poles elastic strings were sheered off and had to improvise to get them to stay together.

Also had one of the seams split at back corner of the bed and tailgate. about an inch or so. This is the only reason for a 3 star vs a 5 star review. Overall a good tent for roughing the back country, as it gets colder in the season you will appreciate not sleeping directly on the ground.

My truck tent came with excellent instructions for setting it up. It was sturdy enough and well-made, except that one of the stays, the plastic poles that fit into long sleeves to hold the tent upright, broke when my husband and son put it together.

I don’t know whether this is because they pushed too hard on it, or whether the stays should be made of stronger material. I spent a comfortable night inside the tent, even though the weather was hot.

Luckily the tent has openings covered in mosquito netting.

We took the Rightline truck bed tent with us on our cross- country honeymoon trip from Nebraska to Maine, and slept in it every other night. It’s actually pretty comfortable sleeping in the bed of a truck with a foam pad below (not included), and feels more safe and secure than a ground tent.

Park the truck anywhere within reason, and sleep for the night. It’s spacious and private enough to change clothes in. It went up in less than 5 minutes with one of us doing each side. The tent fit our ’14 Silverado (just like the one in the pic.

– same color, too) perfectly. It won’t scratch the paint. It comes with a little storage bag, and fits under the back seat. It’s made of durable but lightweight fabric, and is stylish and functional.

It comes with a rain hood. There are a couple of pockets on each side of the interior to store your cell phone, etc. in. We’ve used it more than 10 times now, and it’s still in new condition. The one feature I would add (that could likely affect other areas of the design, though) would be a pass- through from the tent front into the cab of the truck (provided it has a sliding rear window, of course).

That way, you could run cables for charging devices, listen to the radio, and even possibly use the vehicle’s heating/ cooling system for the tent. This wasdefinitely a good buy at the discounted price I paid, and I’d unhesitatingly recommend as sleeping quarters for anyone who wants to be able to just get in their truck and go.

Fit perfect in my ’21 Silverado. Camped in heavy winds, 20-30mph and never faltered at all. Kept the wind out. Plenty of room, great ventilation. Add an air mattress and your set. The canvas is excellent material and the tent is very well constructed.

Poles are shock-corded and are stout as well.

If you been thinking about the high price compare to the cheap ones on amazon don’t compare this one is worth the money. I took me a long time to purchase it but it was worth the money. You can feel the difference and how it was made with a good product.

I am not going to go over all the benefits of being in the truck bed over the ground. There are lots of reviews on that. My experience camping in the Napier Backroadz tent. Build quality is fantastic.

Our latest camping trip with it was during tropical storm Cindy. Boy did it rain. But inside the tent. PERFECTLY DRY. The campground was flooded but we were dry. That speaks volumes to me. It did not waiver in the rain or wind.

It was strong. The only downside I can see with the tent is the way the door opens. It opens down instead of to the side. So you have to climb over the door mesh to get in. I can just see something getting snagged on the door and ripping the mesh.

That did not happen but I could see a potential there. Don’t let that discourage you from this tent. It goes up quick and is good quality. Not like one of those Wal-Mart brands. It is worth the money.

Oh and it fit my 1997 Ford F-150 perfectly.

This is a wonderful product. I love tenting but have a phobia about sleeping on the ground. This tent was so easy and quick to put up. We put it together on the ground and then easily lifted it onto our truck bed.

We also lifted it off and left it assembled when we took our truck the next day and then easily lifted it back on at night. It was perfect!.

The tent seemed to go up easily enough; the tent poles and tunnels are color coded. I also like that the directions are printed on a plastic-like material and sewn into the bag. I haven’t used it in the rain yet, wish I could say I had.

This tent worked awesome! Also, we have a tonneau cover and rails, plus bed rack for construction material. We found that these things did not interfere with setting up the tent (did remove the rack nearest the tailgate).

Perfect 3/8 ” scale model. I wanted to practice backing up a fifth wheel camper before I purchased on. The toy is scaled at 36 feet long and the truck at 22 feet. an exact match of my setup! I scaled rv slips on paper and practiced.

My grandson, however. Thought is should be his! He had fun with it, but it stayed at grandpa’s house.

My grandson is gonna love this. This truck & camper is in between the hot wheel & the pull backs. It’s bigger then the Hot Wheels & a little smaller then the pull backs. I brought it for my grandson he loves playing with his campers & trailers.

The dimensions given are not for the truck/camper, they are for the size of the box. Truck/camper is significantly smaller. It is nice but too small for the price.

We bought our original tent in 2017 based on really good reviews on a few sites online. For the truck tent market there aren’t a lot of options out there similar to what this company provides especially for this price point.

We bought this model because of the size of our truck and we liked how this tent covers the bed of the truck with tent material (some of the other truck tent options out there had just the tent material covering over the sides of the bed of the truck leaving room for critters to potentially come in through the sides).

Our first tent had some minor but patchable issues. Our material had torn in the front passenger side where the elastic strap hooks on to the bottom of the truck. Minor and where it tore it happen to be near the strap and was covered by the rain fly so we left it at that.

The second problem was a bit more problematic. One of our front corner elastic straps had ripped right out of the bottom of the tent on our 3rd use. We managed to use a bungee cord to strap it to the tailgate with enough tension to keep the tent open.

On our first and only trip last year (2 years after purchase and approx our 7th use) one of the main blue fibreglass poles Split right down the middle of the pole lengthwise during set up. Luckily the shards did not cut any hands and the trip was not ruined as we were able to duct tape the pole together for the remainder of the trip.

Upon return to the city we were not able to find a kit to repair the split pole. A few weeks ago we decided to give Napier Sportz another go. We got our brand new tent within the allotted time frame.

Luckily we decided to set it up at home prior to our trip. We discovered a small hole on the top of our tent (should be fine with the fly on but we were not sure if with repeated use it would hold up).

Then upon checking the zippers, the front mesh zipper ripped right off the tent. We phoned Best Buy to issue a refund and the customer service was really good and they gave us our return form right away.

We ordered a 3rd because we are hoping the next tent will be good. There are some really good qualities about this tent despite the problems we had encountered. This tent was quick and easy to set up with two people.

There was a great deal of space inside the tent once set up and it is nice having the material over the whole bed of the truck as it allows us to use the bed walls as shelves inside. It fit a queen size air mattress.

There was room for a “shoe area” inside the tent. The rain fly on our first tent was amazing- we had camped through a few downpours and no tarp over top and no leaks! Having the tent up in the back of the truck kept us significantly warmer compared to sleeping on the ground.

Our Ford F-150 has a built in step ladder in the tailgate which makes getting in and out of this tent very convenient. We are hoping the company will have better quality control measures in place for future orders as this tent is a great option for those that love camping but can not afford a trailer but would like to have something spacious and off the ground.

So far so good. One of the elastic broke in a pole so I bought a repair kit and Best Buy refunded the cost of the kit with no lost camping time. Pole colours and “pipping” were better on video than actual.

Like the bright colours better for first time up. By second time down to about 25 minutes with only one person doing it. Appears to have a lot of room and fits my F150 well. Quality of zippers will take some time to answer.

With the addition of 2 8 x 10 tarps was able to enclose the outside 5 x 5 Flap so I can stand strait or put a portable toilet there if I want. I am 6 foot 2 and can stand up with a bent neck in the tent.

Other than the broken pole and question of quality of zipper would have gotten a 5. So far perfect for my needs!.

We are a low budget race team, so I was looking for a cheap way to stay at the track, this works perfect. I’ve never used one before and it only took me 8 minutes to put it up the first time. So simple.

Big door to get in and out of and color coded poles. To big side windows with screens and the door has a solid door and a huge screen you can open. Really has great air flow thru out. Has a thick canvas floor and a small hook in the top you can hang a lantern.

Personally I use the hook to hang a small battery fan. All in all the product is just as described and fit my F150 perfect. Being completely honest the hardest part of the entire process was getting it back in the bag after it’s taken down.

But that’s me not the product. I can’t get a sleeping bag back in the bag either.

Used this while camping for three nights in October BC weather. Tent held up well, kept warm and dry (little condensation but thats expected). Little tight for room as there were 2 of us and a medium size dog who slept between my legs.

My advice is shop around for a good mattress that fits well in between your trucks wheel wells for extra comfort, i might buy a second mattress to put under my existing one for more comfort. Set up wasn’t that bad either, the instructions were very helpful.

I bought the one with the awning which was nice to have to stay dry prior to going into the tent.

Bought this for a road trip into Quebec. Ended up being pleasently surprised. Not super difficult to set up but definitely more difficult than a normal tent. When it rains, the way it is set up is that the water rolls right off the side of the tent and tailgate.

No water can get underneath the tent which is perfect. Even if it rains, everything in the tent stayed dry. 10/10 invention. Only complaint is that after one use when it rained, the next day, all the little pieces connecting the poles turned from stainless steel to cheap plastic colour.

It was almost like acid rain washed the paint off the poles through the rain tarp.

These are made well of high quality steel. The design however is very poor. These claim to be the correct brackets for a 15 GMC 2500, Well they do “fit” but lots of trouble. They way they make the bolts you have to tighten them from behind.

This is very inconvenient as there is almost not space, this makes the job take significantly longer (use a speed ratchet or you will go insane). Once installed and properly torqued if you lift up on the outer end of the bracket (where your tie downs for your camper would go) you can watch the inside of your bed and the bed rail flex.

This is my actual bed not a bedliner. The inside t-bars as they call them need to be much larger to distribute the load in this type of design. The double stick tape they use on the foam protector pads is just frustrating – the backing does not come off properly pulling the tape with it, i ended up having to lave them off on the t-bars as i didn’t have enough that came apart Why the tie downs are not in the stake pockets i don’t know – seems like they would be a much stronger place for them, but apparently after the late 2000s you can’t do that any more.

If I had time to wait for another set that was made different i would send these back and get a different style.

For all those people who complain that the bolt holes are too close to the center, or that it was poorly engineered; READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. The square bolt heads are there for a reason.

If you put them in correctly you will find that they sit up against the center part of the assembly which means you dont need a second wrench while tightening the nuts. It works perfect! The real trick is where to position the mounts on the truck, and that will be unique to each camper/truck configuration.

It might be easier if you have an 8-foot bed, but on todays 6-1/2 foot beds its a bit tricky to find that perfect spot to place the bracket and get it to mate up with the campers attachment point. After you have identified the mounting point and its time to tighten the bracket, hold the clamping plate in position, insert the bolts, start the nut and then push the clamping plate as high as it will go.

Tighten the nuts from the back side (between the bracket and the bed of the truck). A ratcheting wrench works best, but a socket wrench will work just fine. You will need to alternate between the two nuts until they are equally tight.

Adjust the depth of the spacer foot, tighten its locking nut and you’re done!.

These things are HEAVY DUTY–they weigh about 20+ pounds total. The postman would not take out of truck–he simply left a note, stating I had to come to the post office to pick it up myself. They seem to do well.

I have one minor complaint–the hole for attaching the turnbuckle is slightly off center in all of these. I don’t think it is a design intent, but it doesn’t appear to weaken it. It is simply annoying that a made-in-USA product has a defect like that.

Oh well–I also have an AMC Jeep, so I guess this product is not so bad. I’m not really clear why the brace screw is a skinny (though thick) rectangle. I would have made it a disk–it is the only part that might dent or dimple the bed under significant load I think.

But, so far so good with my camper. UPDATE: I sold the previous camper that was under 800 pounds (4-wheel camper, Hawk, 6. 5 foot length) and bought a 1600 pound Alaskan 8 foot cabover. I used these tie down clamps to take the large camper on a 3-day, 2400 mile trip (home from the purchase).

the clamps are fairly compact so I had them with me in the truck for such a situation as a camper purchase away from home. Though only highway miles, the tie down clamps worked excellently. The camper, with the the truck’s tail gate down, did not move a centimeter.

I will not trust another trip with the rear clamps, due to the severe angle of the rear clamps (see photo), but they did keep the camper from sliding backwards. I’m going to use some torklift rear mounts in the future for getting better rear vertical security, but I will keep using the fronts because the angle (about 45 degrees) is good for that position.

oh: The clamps produced only one minor scratch mark (about a pencil diameter size) on the inside bed, due to me missing a corner of the pad not covering a spot. If I had a spray-in bedliner, it would not have even shown up.

I searched for a fair price on a Napier truck tent for several weeks. I typed in “used” ans scored this from a dude in Georgia,who only used it ONCE,and then sold his avalanche. I got this for less than half!! I’ve been assembling by camping equipment, since then and I’m just one or two items from putting all the pieces together.

If you’re a single camper (with a dog) like me,and you just wanna get a quick getaway weekend,under your belt, then this is the ABSOLUTE best way to go. (Hint) Pre assemble your tent in the driveway.

Put your bedding and gear INSIDE the tent. Drop the tent,put your tonneau cover back on. This will help speed up your setup when you get to camp. You’re Welcome, L. C.

We purchased the tent for our Avalanche. It fits it perfectly. Could be just a tad less tight, but we are really happy with it. If you have an Avalanche the tailored one is amazing because the area from the bed to the cab unzips for full use of the truck.

Its awesome! The first time setting up takes some figuring out. But the second time will be a breeze. I took it down by myself. It was really easy and stores well. Bonus, it lines the entire inside of the bed.

We camped using this tent the other weekend. It was awesome. The fact that you can open up the back of the tent and remove the back window on the Avalanche allows you to utilize the entire pickup. I would recommend setting it up ahead of time to know how to get the tent up.

First time it would take probably about an hour. Once you know the steps it takes about 10 or 12 minutes. My kids loved it.

My 4 year old grandson had a wonderful time building it. He workEd diligently until the project was finished. Without being able to attend school, with pandemic restrictions, we consider this quite a learning experience.

Very educational to learn how to build, following the directions page by page. A wonderful activity for home confined children.

Was a birthday gift for my 5 yr old grandson. He was so excited to unwrap it, that afternoon he proceeded to put it together. And the directions without a problem. Thought he might have been too young but the pictures are so explicit.

He just loves driving it all around the house and playing. Wonderful product.

I assumed this would be smaller, and probably didnt read the description throughly. I built these, and then my six year old tore all my hard work apart. I had so much fun building these, and would total recommend them for a child over the age or ten.

The design of the belt and machine makes it useless unless the machine is used on a perfectly flat surface. On any incline the belt slips off of the drive sprockets and jams or stretches the belt. I’ve replaced belts and tried multiple mounting points for the RVR9 without any consistent success.

My trailer is under the maximum trailer and tongue weight capacity for the RVR9. Very disappointed, machine is essentially useless.

here’s a review from an owner that’s had an RVR9 for almost 4 years now. my travel trailer is a 25 ft. Airstream that’s roughly around 7500lb loaded. i use the RVR9 to move my trailer out from my backyard, through the side of my house, and down a driveway that has a downgrade of 5 degrees.

i literally could not use my travel trailer without the RVR 9. the passage through the side of my house has a 1. 5″ room of play on either side of my Airstream. it’s a tight fit! so, the RVR9 is a must for us.

and it has not let us down in all the years i’ve had it. i’m completely happy with it! Trailer Valet’s customer service has been excellent, too. they’ve always had time to answer my questions and they’ve even been helpful in servicing it too.

that’s awfully important to me since i depend on this product so much. thinking about an RVR? get it. it’s worth it.

Get rid of the existing battery charger and redesign the RVR5 circuits so a battery charger/tender can be charged and maintain it. Having to run the RVR5 around in circles for 15 minutes every 2 months is nuts, especially since Tender technology is so inexpensive and readily available.

I have a narrow driveway with a 4. 9-degree cement slope facing a street with parked cars. At the end of a long trip, parking the RV under those conditions was beyond me. The RVR5 has eliminated the danger of damaging, my house, my RV, or a parked car; and instead of having to face a significant amount of stress at the end of a trip, I can look forward to more fun.

I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado crew cab 2wd. I received this today and couldn’t wait to put it on. Fits very nicely. Single person assembly on the ground and placed it in the bed. My bed is only 5’8”, so I was concerned about it being too long.

it’s just right with the tailgate down. You have some flexibility in moving it forward if necessary too. it took me right about 10 minutes to put up. I’m sure that’ll be faster next time. If you’ve worked with tents at all before, this will be a piece of cake.

Again, about 10 minutes to pull down. Did that while it was still in the bed vs. the ground. Nice case. all parts are there. I read some reviews about broken poles, so I’ll be ordering some. I’ve included pictures of mine with a measuring tape assembled, so you can know what else to order for a contingency.

My original parts work fine, just as an FYI. Just going from earlier reviews. The zippered windows made it about 15 degrees cooler once I unzipped them. The last piece to put in once it in the bed is the internal black pole.

You start at the front and chase it back with about 7 stitched in Velcro captures. It’s a little bit of a pain if you’ve got sausage fingers like me. The body tie downs on the side are a breeze. I don’t care for the tailgate part.

They are just elastic and not user friendly. In fact, I never could get them through my tailgate, so I put them around the side and attached as allowed. I didn’t apply the rain fly in the pictures. This tent took a 22” inflatable mattress.

It was a little snug getting in, but I had plenty of headroom and room to turn over. I’m 6’ and 250. so, use your imagination. I’m buying an airbedz and it is 10” lower, so I know long term I’ll have plenty of room.

There are several internal pockets at bed height for storage, typical lightweight material. I think this will be a great addition to anyone looking for a lightweight shelter off the ground for a multi day experience.

Set up was slow, I had to take it out and set tent up on the ground then transfer up into the truck bed. I did this by myself. Compact size tent too large for ’02 Ranger but that’s not the worst of it.

The fiberglass poles are flimsy and instead of bending, the door pole just splintered and shredded. Now I’m stuck with a $100 useless pile of polyester. If there was a way to order just replacement poles, I’d do it and give that truck tent a second chance.

If anyone can suggest how and where to get replacement poles it would be great.

Took a chance: got the short version of the tent for a long bed truck with a back-of-the-cab tool box. Fits just fine. Enough room to stretch legs and neck. The top of the box, although not actually ‘in’ the tent provides a shelf under the tent floor at the side wall level.

Satisfactory.

Top notch. Great product. Install pretty easy. Makes securing camper a breeze.

These tie downs are heavy duty and they fit perfectly without modification. They are heavy and awkward when installing and would be much easier if you have a helper. I did manage to install mine without any help.

Good quality well made grate coating and well thought out design

I had a little trouble getting the quick connect for the brakes joined, and one hole had a little slag that had to be cleaned out. But this is solid! Easy to move on level. I hauled my car almost 6,000 miles, a lot of it in the mountains, and it was great! I like how it follows my motorhome, and the brakes worked great.

I had several envious neighbors in the RV parks!.

A floor jack and a friend sure helped the assemble. Air tools too. Read instructions re: loading ramps. I got a bit over zealous with the air tools and they wouldn’t move very well. READ THE instructions.

Don’t over tighten. works fine now. looking forward to a road test tomorrow.

I ordered the Kar Kaddy SS with the impression from the web site that it would be simple to assemble a few parts. I have worked all day on it and am not near completing the assembly. Also, some of the parts are very difficult to install and requires a lot of lifting, bending, stooping, and crawling underneath.

If I had know this I would have traveled the 150 miles to a dealer and purchased one already assembled.

We live in a windy area, and the top two rear corners ripped within a week. The corners should be reinforced. Extra fabric is provided to protect the ladder area, but there was no easy way to install.

The first one lasted about 3 years. It still repelled rain – but the coating in the top was coming off and due to wind, use and some jagged edges – it had some holes in it. I probably could have gotten another year out of it – but it was turning green and the zippers were worn out.

I live in the rainy pacific nw – so it’s held it’s own. I figure $300 every 3 years isn’t bad compared to paying for covered storage. but I also use Dri-Z-Air in the camper. that is critical. And also when it’s sunny – open it up and let the camper breath.

Happy with my purchase.

This is the 3rd time purchasing this cover, use it to cover a lance camper. High quality construction, fits well. Lasts about 4 years with under normal conditions. Would’t buy anything else.

Surprised with this little camper. It comes loaded with lots of movable furniture. The only thing my 5 year old was having trouble with at first was getting the top off. But a bit of practice and he can do it himself now.

This is also a pull back car. So it goes on it own.

I bought this as a retirement gift. My son is returning and is buying a mobile home and traveling. I am going to write on it Gone Camping and put some money it as a gift. It has furniture in it with a retractable awing and a pop out side.

Its just too cute for words.

We live full-time in our RV that looks shockingly similar to this toy. Our three year old LOVES this toy. She plays with it like another kid would play house with a dollhouse. The detail is amazing, construction is solid.

She’s always reconfiguring the layout and has to go get it whenever we have visitors to show it off. Been a few months, still her favorite toy. CON: Stepping on a wayward chair in the middle of the night hurts as much as a lego, but not as much as a shopkin.

The kids had a great time with this Lego build. The set is high quality as you would expect, fun and a great addition to Lego City. The pieces are perfectly sized for small hands and are easy for kids to build with.

The Holiday Camper Van has so many nice details, custom pieces, moveable features to make it look much like a real camper. The van opens up in multiple areas and has a useable interior. This turns out to be a really cool toy children can build and also play with once complete.

The set includes the camper van, a family, lots of camping gear and food. The Lego figures, accessories and the camper were fun for the kids to play with and use their imaginations with long after the last Lego was placed.

This was a perfect play activity for a cold, rainy weekend indoors. The children continue to play with this toy and have enjoyed this enough to ask for more Lego sets. These sets are very affordable and really a terrific activity and toy.

Can’t say enough about how nice this Lego City Holiday Camper Van set is and how much we have enjoyed it.

My little boy absolutely loves his Lego set of the holiday camper van. He is 6 years old, and this is the perfect Lego set for his age group. My son loves to go camping, and he is very happy with this camper.

The set includes everything needed to construct a sturdy camper, and it is very manageable for little ones. It includes a cute little family, and all of the necessary camping gear they could possibly need.

I love the fact that the baby is in a carrier on the mom’s chest. Adorable! The detail is very impressive. A propane tank is even included so that the family can cook their meals. My son is getting hours of enjoyment from this one toy, so it is a great value for parents.

Kids aren’t simply opening a box and playing, they first have to build the toy, and that is teaching them something. I love Lego products, and this camper set meets all of my expectations. I recommend it to everyone who loves to build with Lego.

Lego City campers are awesome and we have the last three plus this one. This set was fun to build and your kids will love it. if you already have some of them it varies enough will go good with your collection.

Recommend purchase. That said, of all of them would put this one last. Two of them had separate pulling vehicles and the other came with a canoe. These extra items add a lot to the overall playability of the sets.

Kids love to hid stuff up there. Include a net, fishing pole and some fish. My kids loved all that stuff in the other sets.

I could not find anything negative to say about this. Plan on buying the green & white one also. Great to find in a popular 1/24 scale finally! Good price for a great item too!

Matches up great with our same scale 72 Chevy Nova. They will both be painted to match our real Nova and trailer for shows. Came with a glue on trailer hitch for the car.

Very well built with great detail-even the interior has been created id 1/24th scale. Looks great in any diecast display.

My grandson LOVES this car and pull behind camper but the trailer hitch broke off the car in less than 1 week of using. The plastic hitch is only the width of a nickel (as pictured) and easily broke off when attaching the camper.

Due to the design of the hitch I wouldn’t even be able to glue it back together. One of the taillights came off too.

I dont know why Home Essentials Direct asked for a sheerness rating Oman opaque product. but, here goes: Ive compared this gouache alongside Windsor-Newton and M. Graham. the only white gouache Id used until I bought Pebeo.

Cant tell the difference! The cost for this tube, 20 times the size of others for less? How can you go wrong? Great value!.

This Pebeo studio gouache comes in such a large size that I am able to use it in ways most watercolor and gouache cant really be used. I paint large abstract paintings with this and the white especially is wonderful to mix with colored gouache or to add pigments.

I only wish I could afford every color of this stuff! The only down side is that since it is student grade, some colors do raise up through it somewhat. But that can have its plus side when used intentionally.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our granddaughter. I decided to look in the box before wrapping it, and it proved to be fortunate that I did, as there were several bags of small parts which needed assembling.

Even each wheel comprised parts which had to be fitted together before being attached to the body of the camper van! Had I not discovered this, there would have been a very frustrated young lady on Christmas morning.

To my mind, this is a fairly expensive toy, at over £50, and I would have expected it to be ready to play with.

First a word of warning for parents. Like all Playmobile sets, you’ll need to set aside at least 15-30 mins to put together the different pieces and stickers. Once assembled, my daughter loved roleplaying with the Camper and the figures included.

There are a lot of accessories that come with it (although we put away some of the more fiddly ones), which lends well to the roleplaying my daughter was doing. Quite durable, and any pieces that fall off can be stuck on again.

I would recommend putting away (hiding) the very small pieces, as they’re a bit of a hassle to look after and keep with the set. Overall, it’s a great set, and when teamed up with some of the other sets gets the imagination going.

My 4 year old absolutely adores this Playmobile camper – the attention to detail is amazing, from the little taps to the tiny sausages for the BBQ. There are just so many cute features. He spends ages playing with it acting out holidays, and combining it with his other Playmobile sets (mainly police and fire vehicles) to create big scenes.

In a year where we haven’t had many chances to have a holiday, playing with the camper is good escapism to pretend we are! And I absolutely love the shirt the male figure wears! It took a bit of building with adult help, but no longer than 30 minutes.
