20 Best Trucks For Winter (2022 Updated)

While the light truck has surprisingly limited choices in 16 inch rim size versus larger sizes, the reliability under loading and front to back treadwear is a greater concern due to it’s larger rolling resistance.

So, when I chose to buy snow tires as a pair to replace the front steering tire set, I wanted a good deep tread and strong sidewalls to avoid that really mushy almost folding inward feel at the wheel.

Even more, tire experts say putting a new set of any tires on the front give a greater thread depth in front and can result in spin around behavior because of the dynamics of misalignment of the steer wheels with skid direction, an action that may be unavoidable as an impact dodge input.

These have 3 or 4 more 32nd of an inch tread than most other snow tires to consider. The reason is that light truck drivers can pay for a new set of tires for what it costs to change all four tires every spring and fall.

In fact, my tire change service man says to expect 25,000 miles before wear-out if the new soft nano rubbers with high grip designs are used. Because the back set were another brand and more long wearing type of tire, I really wanted these as steering control tires, so that’s where I put them.

I had already broken convention by have a different brand and model and treadon steering than on back anyway. But pulling trailers a lot with up to 1000 pounds in the back hatch area of the truck absolutely mandates that kind of tire, especially pulling heavy equipment trailers and having any risk at all of fishtailing under loads.

While the 10 ply rating on these is a big sense of secure feeling, Im not sure I want them in back. Very rarely you feel the sidewall give at the wheel, but since they really are much quieter, you have to expect that I think.

Noise from rear wheels goes pretty much behind and gone anyway IMO. They do go over glare ice with almost no skidding, although nothing can do that if speed is not under 10mph or attack angle is too high or vehicle weight is too low.

Just looking at the big lobes at the edge tells a lot. Very good for skid control or avoiding getting a control loss turn into an actual side skid. Not so good for actually driving OVER snow cover or pack snow which lifts it off the surface more than narrow tires do.

If you keep a full tank of gas and have a larger engine and compensate with lower speed on snow covered surfaces, this tire is probably as good a tire as will be engineered without studs protruding from the tread blocks.

These are great winter tires. I have been in snow as high as the truck’s bumper and these tires still had traction. They also ride well on pavement.

These tires are truly awesome, I know, the grand canyon is awesome, however these tires truly are the best of the best. Great traction wet or ice or snow. Will buy again if they last.

Bought the 2021 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road, switched the tires from the Fallen Wildpeak of 225/60R18. These tires are very quiet and comfortable. I just wanted a much thicker tire and a higher ride height.

I bought the ATIII of 235/65R18. The ride quality is much more different, in a good way. The tires grip the road much more and ride much more comfortably! When the road is smooth, the ride is like butter.

When the road looks like garbage, you feel every bit. Not complaining though. You do feel how much these tires soak up in terms of cushioning and it feels much more planted, much more stable and the road presence is great! My fuel economy did drop significantly but that was expected.

Instead of 32 per highway Im getting about 26 on the dot. *ALSO THEY BALANCE AMAZINGLY* *THESE TIRES ARE GREAT AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM!* Also the size listed above fits a 2021 Toyota RAV4 with a 2. 5″ lift kit.

There is slight rubbing when at full turn both ways, nothing actually impacting or damaging. But that is expected until trimming is finished. So far Ive got about 1100 miles on these tires and I can’t complain.

This is exactly what I wanted and researched and its what I got. An overall great tire on the road, Offroad and all in between. I specifically wanted a heavier tire with a thicker ply for highway trash and offroad rocks.

Also Toyo Tires, Im not afraid to put my vehicle somewhere it may or may not belong. If you would like me to sample different possible production versions offroad and on road please contact me.

Have these tires on 03 duramax ext cab long bed. They were on the truck when I bought it so they had around 15-20k miles already. So far I’ve put on at this time an addition 35k miles on them. Heck these tires I didn’t rotate after a year cause they didn’t wear hardly so I totally forgot to rotate them unlike mud tires I rotate every 5k miles.

I drove it to north and South Carolina and back and I live in Ohio. It’s a farm truck and gets used from highway to the field. These tires I remind on long bed so there’s very little weight in the rear of the truck so sometimes it spins in very wet grass or mud.

But I’ve had these in the mud and fields and it still crawls out loaded down with hay or whatever is in the bed or attached to the truck. I’ve pulled trucks out of the ditch in snow storms and it actually slid me into a 2.

5 foot ditch and it crawled right out. My friend has these on his dually and he hauls heavy loads of hay and equipment cause he owns a farm and construction business. Those tires can handle a load that is for sure.

He has had 1000s of pounds on a trailer loaded with hay and the trailer was making the truck squat a lot and it’s an 2018 F350 dually and those tires took the load and drove the truck right out of the field.

Only complaint is they kinda dry rot but still hold air and they’ve been on the truck over 3 years now and it’s just now starting to get low tread to the point of needing replaced. They’ve served very well.

Hydro plains a little bit but I’m running 12. 5 wide so that doesn’t help. But even on low tread is still pulls great in the rain and snow. I’d recommend these tires if you want them to last and want something that can get the job done and take a beating.

There are videos of the truck on TikTok doing donuts in the field and pictures of it on Instagram loaded down with hay. I can’t figure out how to add a photo or I would on here. I pull on average 20+ miles a gallon on the high way and around 15ish in the country on 325-17-12.

5 tires in an 03 duramax.

I have now put just over 1400 miles on these tires in the past two weeks. On Dry roads the steering response is accurate, immediate, and quick (no hesitations noted. Traveling 70 and 75 miles per hour on highway the tires are very quite.

if I turn off the radio, close the windows and shut down the AC/heat I can hear a very slight noise from the undercarriage but once a turn on the radio or the heat/ac even at the lowest settings the noise is gone.

open the window and you can’t hear anything but the wind. The RAIN, I road though about 200 miles of rain all at highway speeds of 55 to 70 miles per hour. Some of the rain was heavy and some areas slowed down to less than a drizzle.

I never real worry about heavy rain as that in itself washes the oils from the black top away but the fine rain seems to make for a more slippery road, in my opinion. These tires tracked beautifully though both the heavy and the fine rain and at 55 to 70 miles per hour for both.

I always felt in control of my vehicle. The Dirt Roads – I was in the mountains this past week also on hard pack dirt roads. This included dirt roads with a lot of loose gravel (steep inclines and downhills) to deep ruts too include water and ruts from Gas Drilling Company which then started to turn those deep ruts into a slippery mud fest.

These tires handled every single dry condition with ease and that was in 2WD. The heavy ruts and water (from gas drilling company in PA Mountains – Lycoming county) I do admit I was not chancing sliding as the edge of that area in our mountains is a 100′ drop-off so I was in 4WD for that condition and felt totaling in control and secured footing as it were.

I was supper impressed and my last AT tires did not perform anywhere near as well as the Toyo OC AT3. The ruts were only 6′ to 10′ deep and the mud was only surface type mud not the kind the mud truck guys go looking for on weekends.

I do not have a rating for ICE and snow as I have not been in theses conditions as of yet but winter is coming and I’m sure I will have several occasions this year to deal with snow and ice coming up shortly.

When I do I’ll log back in and update for those conditions. As I only have just over 1400 miles on the tires I do not have a clue as to the treadwear ability for these and as they are new this year my guess would be we all have to wait a couple of years before we will all know for sure.

That being said they are rated at 600 for a 65,000 mile tire so I would expect them to wear well, at least I hope they do. I also list the Fuel Efficiency as Excellent. I can’t tell you I noticed any variation in gas miles and for the other guys and gals out there driving trucks , really who cares.

If I want great gas miles I would have bought a Prius, I want a truck and I willfully except the Gas miles what ever it may be. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and just as a side note for all those that place a high price on looks.

they do look great on my truck. tire size – 265-65R-17 – yes my truck has a 2″ front leveling kit that allows for the bigger tires. no rubbing at extreme turning radiuses. Great Job Toyo.

While 10 ply Tires were ordered I received standard load tires. Company said I ordered these because there are two tires with the same description one standard load one 10 ply. I was very careful to look at specification prior to ordering.

For a middle of the road line of tire this so far has worked well for me, but only had chance to drive in dry circumstances. So I will update you once we get rain or snow on the performance. Choose these tire for All season and all weather, the original tire I wanted was no longer available that I had used in the past, so my next best choice.

Great set of tires needed almost no extra weights to ballance. 2002 Chevrolet truck runs like new with new tires on it thank you Priority Tire for one of the best sets of tires I have had. I definately will buy from them again fast delivery.

Love, love, love these tires! I’ve been waiting for my dealer supplied Firestone Destination Mud Tires to wear out so I could replace them with some Ridge Grapplers. Those Destinations were great for the occasional off roading that I did, but I really didn’t need mud tires.

Never did get stuck. Most of my miles are highway with a quick trip to backyards to deliver and build storage buildings. These tire are great without or with the trailer in tow. They are so quiet, smooth and grippy.

The ride comfort is way better and fuel economy has likely increased about 1 mile per gallon. With diesel prices in the $5 range that is about $10 per fill up which I do 3 times a week. That adds up to about $120 month or $1440 per year.

Over the life of the tires which is expected to be about 3 years, the fuel savings alone will pay for them. Driving becomes more of a pleasure when you get some nice quality new tires. Will enjoy the newness of them while it lasts.

I have hat a full set of these tires for about 3 months, with about 1000 miles on them. At first I was impressed with the ride quality, even though that made a little more noise than the Nittos I had before.

Noticed this weekend, a full chunk of rubber, an entire lug of the tread, has come off. I did not hit anything I am aware of, certainly not anything hard enough to do that kind of damage to a tire. I went with these, taking a chance, as they were a little cheaper than the Nitto/Toyo.

Now for what I will spend on a replacement for this one, I could have had the better quality Nitto. Spend the money, go with the better brand name if you are putting this kind of heavy duty tire on your truck.

Kanati is apparently made in Indonesia, and I suspect that is where the difference in quality happens. And of course, Parrish Tire on ebay, will not honor the damage either. Last time I will use them as well.

Although these are LT tires (275/60R20) 8 Ply they win in being the heaviest tire @57lbs each. The Positive @ 50K Miles on tires Great snow traction Decent Dry Road Traction Wet Road is ok could sketchy at times it has declined as tire wears Hydro plane Resistance – Adequate at this mileage Braking is good Great Wear Ability at 50K I’m just half life.

Only 1 puncture whereas previous tires Yokohama Geolander GA015 and Good Year SRA’s each had (3) at this mile mark as well as being needed to be changed. Has really good offroad traction, which I rarely I drive.

Handles well when heavily loaded Negatives: Stock Size tire my mpg’s dropped about 1-1. 5mpg. Some wheel shake at around 65, as well as an unevenness at this speed, truck has 150K on it which may be due to suspension parts.

Moreover, the ride has a more truck like feel because the tires are so heavy vs 45 or 50lb tire. *The best analogy I can make with these tires, you are exchanging a pair of sneakers for solid pair of hiking boots.

You are exchanging mpg or durabilty, dry road & wet road for offroad and Snow & ice.

I have General tires on both our vehicles. My wife has other Generals for summer on her Tuscon and I have these on my truck. I have previously run them all year before I also got dedicated winters. We live in Northern BC and those are the best all terrain tires ever.

They are VERY comparable to the popular BF Goodrich KO2’s. Only real difference is that the Generals have a harder rubber compound making their tread life longer than the KO2’s. True story. I got 4 winters and 3 summers out of my last set before I had to get new ones.

They are awesome in snow and gravel and highway. I personally will run these tires as long as they make them!!! I also now have the General Altimax Arctics and studded for my truck as well. General Tires Rock!!!!.

I’ll start by admitting my folly. I ordered five of these near the end of getting my 1988 RAM 50 running again. After receiving them and having them mounted and balanced (stock wheels and yes they clear nicely,) I had a delay before finishing and driving the truck.

This time delay went past the warranty for defective parts. A few months later the truck was finally running and the tire shop didn’t mention the issue of the tires not being centered at the time they put them on.

After driving on them, the truck wobbles on these tires. Because I waited, I’m stuck with these poorly made tires where I only have 2 tires good out of 5. Now to describe the tire. I love them! (Yes, I’ve been driving on them trying to get some value before getting rid of them.

) They have a sturdy bead and great carcass that is smooth on nearly every surface from gravel/rocky roads, to quiet on the highway. Good traction in rain, light mud, snow, and provide confidence with careful driving on ice.

They handle well when you’re in a hurry, and also when your carrying a load. To wrap up, the forewarning is simply to refuse the tires if made too far from center, right when you install them (as they have a 90 day defect warranty.

) It’s a good tire that’s worth the wait/hassle of finally receiving a decent set. Noting that my rating would be 5 stars if the tires could be inspected before leaving the factory so the customer isn’t stuck with these types of headaches.

Walmart makes buying tires on-line. Why go on-line instead going straight to the store?, because the best tires from the top tire companies are on-line, but almost never at the store. On-line pricing is as good as you will ever find and the tire are delivered free to the store.

Warning, be sure to keep your paperwork and check to be sure your receipt is accurate. I had road damage to a tire but they would not honor my claim because I did not have the receipt. On the next set I purchased, I asked for road damage, but they forgot to include on work order, but corrected by adding it to my credit card and it then did appear on my card receipt.

I believe the mechanics do good tire work, but are sloppy at the check-out counter. As the customer, you need to make sure your paperwork is all in-order before you leave the store.

I give high enough praise to these tires! Put these on my 2017 Explorer Sport (20″ 255/20 R20) on Nov 22, 2018. I drive them ALL YEAR (I don’t switch to summer tires). Three years later I have put 85,000 km on the tire and there is still 3-4/32″ of tread left; but winter is upon us and it is now time for new ones (if it was summer, I could go a few more months on these tires).

The Ford factory supplied tires lasted 1. 5 yrs and 49,000 km. Excellent winter handling, no noticeable increase in road noise, excellent summer handling. If you run these all year long, you save $200 per year in tire swapping each season and hassle of storing tires.

After 3 years, I have saved $500 by not swapping tires which is 41% of the cost of new tires. So, even if you don’t get as long of tire life, it is still cheaper than buying summer and winter and swapping them each season.

I put these on my 2018 Grand Cherokee after having the all seasons on there since i had bought it. I live in Yellowknife NT and there’s not allot of snow but allot of ice and hard packed snow as they don’t use salt and don’t really plow here.

These tires, I’m telling you made it seem like i was driving on bare pavement again. I cant believe the difference. Well worth the money, and now its a pleasure driving in the winter again. And also feel allot safer with the kids in the car.

Smooth buying experience. Though I have not driven great distances, the tires are performing well on these secondary roads in the NY North Country, which typically are slippery with some level of snow and sandy slush, and also on the difficult, snow-packed hilly road leading to my house with a 20% curved grade.

I like the deep zig-zag treads. I get a little side slip in snow sometimes but my road is poorly plowed at these winter times and it is not asphalt. Also I use 4WD in snowy conditions. These are not snow tires per se but represent a good compromise for all conditions.

I have not driven them on high speed wet highway with water accumulations that would risk hydroplaning so I put 4 stars on hydroplaning representing side slip on snow, not wanting to knock the rating down because these are good tires so far.

I risk being too harsh in judging the snow traction, as they are at least as good as my previous tires (Goodrich), probably better. Also this is good price-to-performance ratio. Since I rated a few items 4, I did not make the final rating 5.

I’d say, without knowing the long-term performance, that I recommend the tire.

Have these on a 2011 Silverado 1500 and have put 10K km on these tires in a wide range of driving conditions. In short, if you’re looking for a tire to use year round in mixed on/off road driving I would definitely recommend these tires and would buy again.

I do 80/20 on/off road driving and have had Michelin Defender LTX and Duratracs before and was looking for something in between the performance of these two. On road: the Coopers are quiet and smooth with no noticeable difference in ride quality/handling from the LTX, no noticeable affect on mpg.

Better road manners than the Duratracs, especially at highway speed. Off road: the off roading I do is light. Mostly gravel/dirt roads, wet grass, and light mud (at most half a foot). The Coopers do great on gravel/dirt, the rock ejectors do their job and the truck feels planted the entire time through corners and hills.

Zero issues with wet grass, flat or on a hill. Would not be my top choice for mud, the Duratracs really shine here. Coopers have some slippage in deeper sections in 2WD where the Duratracs wouldn’t. In 4WD the Coopers can take on mud conditions with ease where you have stock clearance.

Winter: The Coopers do very well in snow, zero issues, no noticeable difference from the Duratracs. Better on ice than the Duratracs, but ice is ice so nothing is going to beat a dedicated winter tire.

On ice there is slippage (with an empty truck bed) when accelerating from a stop in 2WD, but in 4WD have had zero issues. Overall a good tire in winter conditions. The Coopers are a great year round all-terrain tire for a truck/SUV and perfect for my needs!.

I bought these to replace the OEM tires on my 4Runner and I’m very happy with them. I have a couple thousand miles on them so far and have driven in all conditions, dry, hot, wet, snow, ice, dirt/gravel roads, and a little bit of mud.

They have handled all conditions very well and have given me a sense of confidence/safety that I was looking for. Compared to your standard highway tire they only added a slight bit of noise, definitely quieter than other tires in this segment that I’ve experienced.

I wasn’t able to notice an MPG decrease either, maybe. 5mpg loss if there is any difference. They cut through water very nicely, they’re really good in the snow, especially fresh snow, and they are showing no damage or signs of wear so far.

I will say if you encounter mud often look at other tires, these seem to fill up with mud and lose performance very quickly. The only thing holding them back from 5 stars for me is that they are not fully siped, so about halfway through the life of these tires the sipes will be gone and your water/snow performance will decrease.

My next tires will have full depth siping.

I purchased these for my 2016 Honda CR-V AWD. a bit more aggressive than what you typically find on stock CR-V’s, but my Michigan exploring and photography sometimes takes me through rougher back roads and 2-tracks, even during extremely harsh and heavy winters.

Let me tell you: These tires ROCK! Since the majority of my driving is still on paved roads, after seeing the awesome but fairly aggressive tread, I was really concerned that these would be noisy, handle rather loosely on the curvy paved roads, or be uncomfortable or sketchy when hitting rough spots on the highways at higher speeds.

Immediately after getting them installed, I was pleasantly surprised and almost shocked at how quiet these tires are, and how well they grab the road and handle through curves, turns, and day-to-day driving including on the highway where they absorb bumps well, and still feel solid.

I have much more peace of mind venturing out into rougher areas now as these grab through the dirt and mud extremely well, and although I haven’t had them through winter yet, have no doubt that they will also be exceptional performers in the snow.

I’m actually really looking forward to that! My wife’s 2011 CR-V is due for new tires this fall, and I’m very seriously considering stepping her up to these awesome tires as well! Besides their exceptional performance, they look awesome too!.

Same review as the other 1 star review. I was looking for an All-Terrain Tire and so when I saw picture 1 and the price I was in. If you read you will notice that picture one does not match the title for the tire.

You will need to look at pictures 2 and 3 as they are accurate. The only reason for the 1 star review is because of this issue. Just be aware that picture 1 does not represent the tire you will get. Now that we have that out of the way I am just getting these tires installed.

Unfortunately I am goin on a trip and ordered these tires. Now that the tires have arrived I do not have the time to go a different direction and return these tire. I think these tires will be fine for my Mini Van.

They look like nice tires and I will probably be happy. Had I known that these were the tires in pictures 2 and 3 I would have gone with the Toyo ATs or the Yokohama Geolander. If you are looking for a nice all season tire that is not an All Terrain tire you will more than likely like the tires.

Ive had 2 sets of these tires an didn’t get 20k from them. I had them rotated often an kept proper amount of air checking the pressure couple times a month. Being a retired trucker of 50yrs I know tires an I THOUGHT I MAY HAVE BOUGHT A BAD SET SO I BOUGHT THE 2ND SET AN NOT 20K FROM BOTH SETS PUT TOGETHER.

I JUST BOUGHT AMERICUS 285/75/16 TO REPLACE THEM. 3RD SET OF TIRES IN 20K MILES. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE TIRES.

Bought 4 of these for my Toyota Tacoma. Made by Cooper tires, they are similar to Cooper Discover AT3. I’ve had these Mastercraft tires before and they wear well and are a quiet tire. Good in snow and wet weather.

Take note; Because my vehicle came with 265/65/r17 tires from the factory, I went one size TALLER, not wider or bigger rims. I went with 265/70/r17’s, Walmart would not install them. They have some kind of A hole policy that they will only install the EXACT tire size that came with the vehicle.

The difference in tire size between a 65 and a 70 tire is about 1/2 inch or so. I had to take them someplace to have them installed.

The tires themselves seem decent, but installation is a nightmare. I went to my local store on Friday and they were busy, so I scheduled a Monday appointment. On Monday, I show up on time to have the tires installed that were delivered to me.

The rep goes outside to look at my vehicle and the tires purchased from Walmart. He says my inspection is expired and they can’t install. So I said that’s why I am getting new tires, I can’t get an inspection without new tires.

Now if they told me this on Friday when I went to the store to make my appointment and they looked at my truck then, I could have removed the wheels and put them in my van and brought them to separately to be installed.

Because if the wheels aren’t on a vehicle they will install them. So they wasted my time. They use this as an excuse because what you have is a bunch of lazy employees that prefer to hang out and smoke weed rather than work.

They will look for any excuse not to work. As somebody who does all their own mechanical and has also owned a business for 22 years, I know when somebody is making excuses. I went over to STS Mavis Tire and Auto right after leaving Walmart Farmingdale NY and STS Tire.

This will make my third set of Hankook Dynapro tires. My first two sets with the older gen 1 Tire lasted a long time and just replaced my tires again today with the new AT2 tires. My 2007 Tundra first came with BFGoodrich tires which usually lasted around 60,000 miles and cost was over $230 a piece.

After my second set of BFGoodrich tires I started to look for a cheaper alternative with good reviews and found the Hankook brand. My last two sets both averaged over 70,000 miles with minimal balancing and rotation needed.

I think I only balance and rotated them twice. The last set I just replaced lasted three years with almost 80,000 miles on them. My old tires had between 3/32 and 4/32 of tread left, but with the wet season I felt it best to go ahead and replace them for better peace of mind while driving than driving them down to 2/32.

I’m really hoping this new AT2 Tire does even better or at the very least the same. It is supposed to be a new and improved Dynapro Tire design with improved wear and less road noise. I have already put about 200 miles on these new tires and I can definitely notice less road noise compared to the Gen 1 tire and they do have a little softer ride.

I was able to get these at $152 each plus tax. After installation with road hazard and lifetime tire balance and rotation I have a about $750 in them. In my opinion Hankook is a great brand made in the USA and on my Tundra that is driven about 98% on the highway has great tread wear with minimum balance and rotation needed.

I usually run them with 36 PSI. I hope this review helped. The pictures attached are of my new tires installed this morning. It took my local Walmart about 2 hours to put them on by the time I got there and left the store.

They were not that busy, but it looked like they were short of help which everyone is experiencing during this covid pandemic.

This was my first order from Priority Tire. Very positive. Easy purchasing process and fast delivery all at a good price. I’ve only had the Outpost tires for a couple days but initial impressions are also very positive.

I love these tires! They hold the road very well and look great. It is almost spooky how quiet these tires are considering the aggressive tread. I have not tried them off-road yet, but I suspect they will do well.

I ALMOST can’t wait for the upcoming Minnesota winter.

Well, great price but some how one tire got seperated from the rest by FedEx. Took FedEx 5 days to get the tire back with its family. I don’t think this was the fault of priority tire. Priority tire was able to tell me more about where it was than FedEx.

I WOULD purchase from them again.

I really like these tires. Great traction in fresh powder and in that half frozen slop on the interstate. I have tried others ( Nokians) and I feel that blizzacks out perform them in all categories. Buy with confidence.

I haven’t been able to try any other winter set ups because nobody carries anything else for my Infiniti G35. But even with a 300hp RWD car, these tires make driving in Ohio winters much easier. I feel way more confident with this setup than I did with all seasons on my old Honda Civic.

This is my second set of Bridgestone Snow/Ice tires. Best snow tires I have ever had. Several times we have had an unexpected blast of snow. only lasting 10 to 15 minutes. just enough to coat the roads wiith a very slick ice packing.

Even with only rear drive I was the only one not sliding off the side of the road going through town. I was lucky no one else was sliding into me. but I was able to stay away. no problems. Great tire.

Have had these tires on for about a month now. Pros = Good price, design pattern is nice and suitable for both on and off road use, load range capacity meets my requirements. Cons = Appears to wear out quicker than my old set of tires (KO2), a bit noisier than I would like, some vibration at high speed over 70mph.

Other than the above comments, I would say it’s definitely a good buy if you want decent tires at a more affordable price.

I really like the look and feel of these tires. The shipping was great, the customer service was too. The tires grab and look beefy. I put them on my truck and expected a rough ride looking at the tread since it looked a little off road.

But the ride is smooth. Great tire and I’d buy them again. The Walmart price was excellent.

Ive had these tires on my 2004 F150 for about a year now. Good quality, look great, and decent performance especially on ice for an all terrain tire anyway. I previously had Wrangler Dura trac tires which were great in deep snow and mud but I feel they fell flat on icy road conditions compared to the Kumhos.

I would definitely recommend these to anybody for a great all around tire for on and off road. Not much road noise that Ive noticed, and they dont cut down the fuel mileage as bad as the Duratracs I had on before.

Im strongly considering putting these on my recently purchases 2010 Mercury Mariner once the current tires wear out.

I brought these tires after reading the reviews and having 3 sets of rugged trails on my 2004 ram 2500. This is a Ram 100 2019. I live on a gravel road with crushed rock which is hard on tires. I brought them this last winter and got about 7000 miles on them and have had good traction on snow and ice.

This summer so far they look very good for tire wear. i do know that the 20-inch rims on ram pickup are a pain on gravel roads when they get muddy and the mud sticks on the inner rim and throws the tire out of balance.

so, you have to wash the inner rim and get the dirt of off them or it will vibrate the truck. Had the same problem on my 2011 ram and other people i talk to have the same problem when driving on dusty muddy roads.

I will write another review when i get more miles on them.

Great, aggressive looking tire. My MPG is identical to the factory tires on my 2018 F150. They definitely seem to have a durable build quality that will take me through pretty much anything. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the Tread growl they produce.

The advertisement certainly made it sound like they’d be whisper quiet but they definitely have a light growl at highway speed. It’s tolerable and certainly nothing like you hear from mud tires or the big jacked up trucks but just be aware.

Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

This was the best tire that I ever owned in 48yrs. Ive had many vehicles and drive 100 miles daily. This Highway Thread tire is the highest load rated light truck tire out there and it handles well. The sidewalls are stiff and saved my life on the highway by regaining control after being run off the road while towing a loaded 20′ cargo trailer with a 1/2 ton truck.

With my 2 wheel drive Sierra I’ve gotten through some sugar sandy situations and muddy trails while towing trailers. The tire tread wear is on point. I have gotten more than 50k on these 60k rated tires, and I don’t pamper the throttle.

Noise level is low and I’ve only had the tires balance once on install. Tread wear was even. I rotate every 10k miles. I am buying another set today and I will always buy Maxxis Tires going forward for all of my vehicles, ATV’S, and Motorcycles.

Just received the tires so I can’t make a review on the product. In fairness my review is more of the service I got. I didnt actually get these tire they were Not what I order because they aren’t the right size. Then after getting the wrong tires I had to spend more to get the right tires.

Then while at the service center I was told we cant change the tire because we dont have r to he right tool because of the hun caps. Not the right tool you are a tire center. Key word tire. My car is a 2017 Kia how do you not have the right tool.

So I had to take the hun caps off at home. Being the car back for the new tires then at home remove the lug nuts again to put back on my hun caps. Just stupid.

I just got these tires 2 weeks ago and I’m very pleased with the smooth drive these tires provides. Price is great and they looks and feels like a quality tire. Here in Florida rain has been on and off for the last month and these tires performed beautifully.

Great price and quick install at the Walmart in Wylie. We have driven these tires around 150 miles now. They ride really smooth and handle well. They look and feel good on our 2014 Chevy Captiva. Recommended.

Just put these on a week ago so not totally sure of everything yet. Drove them in snow, seem to hook up really good, but again they are brand new. Look awesome, seem to ride nicer than the bridgestone’s I had on the truck.

They are very slightly louder, but can hardly notice. I don’t mind. Will have to come back to this in like year and see how they wear if they are going to last a decent amount of miles.

Looked at this size and another close size tire for some time by a variety of manufacturers and vendors. This was by far the greatest price and free delivery. I had them in just a few days. The company has been around for many years.

The tires look fantastic and perform great. I’ve put around 8,000 miles on them so far. City and interstate.

Everyone at Priority Tire was great, but the FedEx shipping was horrible. FedEx said tires would arrive on a Thursday, but no delivery. Expected them on Friday, still nothing. On Saturday they finally arrived but they left a note that no one was home.

There were three people here. One person in the house, two people outside with music playing. Apparently fedex didn’t try too hard. Finally got the tires on Sunday. FEDEX BLOWS.

Live in northern Michigan. Put them on my Jeep wj with 4wd I run these year round. The performance is OUTSTANDING. My dad owns a used car dealership so I’ve owned atleast 100 vehicles in the last 17 years.

Toyo is my go to for any vehicle I plan on driving. Last year for snow was especially crazy, I bought a house on a hill during fall. I think I had my driveway plowed 4 times the whole year. These tires rock! And you don’t have any downside during summer driving.

They look and handle great. Bought a set of toyo rts for my lifted tj but I havnt started daily driving it yet. But they are such good looking tires, and the little I have drove the rts I am super impressed.

The perfect mix between looking aggressive enough for a lifted tj, but balanced enough to cruise on the highway and not notice that you have an aggressive tire on.

After purchasing my 2000 4Runner, in Dec 1999, I accidentally purchased my first Toyo tires. In Oregon because the tires it came off the showroom floor with were “wearing out” after a trip to Colorado, from Northern Calif.

my 2nd trip was north on I 5 down the coast highway. Had to buy new tires in Coos Bay, Oregon. The only tires in stock,that fit my 4 runner, were Toyos! I needed new tires desperately, I knew nothing about this brand.

I didn’t really have a choice, so I bought them! I have since moved to Alaska. I trust these tires so much , winter and summer, that I’ve only purchased Toyo tires since my first set! I never put “studs” in them! When road conditions are typically “Alaskan” in the winter the most I have to do to stay safe, is shift into H-4 , L-4 occasionally on steep incline or really messed up plowing on side roads.

I will NEVER buy another brand for my beloved Toyota 4-runner! 20 year old vehicle and my dream vehicle! I trust Toyo tires to keep me safe in heavy rain, snow(up to 12 inches deep, or sometimes more, and icy conditions at below 0! I could go on and on, but I might bore you with every detail! They are also great in break up (spring) muddy , slush and snow with chunks of ice.

That is on paved highway: freeway, and my Toyos perform perfectly to keep me on the road!.

Great on/off road winter tire, especially if you leave them on longer than perhaps you should. I used these bad boys along the bush roads in Northern Canada and they out performed other brands by a significant margin for the on and off road user.

These wear very well from the early fall through the winter and into the late spring while maintaining great traction. As they seem to be a more firm compound on the winter tire scale and studless, there are better glare ice tires available (these still work reasonably well) but these tires are better for being able to perform on a wide array of terrains and very well in (between and including) the freezes and the thaws and the snow and the mud.

Ive put a few thousand kms on them so far, very impressed, i can drive rogers pass in heavy snow without using 4×4. The tires are a bit soft feeling in corners but otherwise are very smooth. Ad always canadawheels shipped quick(loomis), order was correct, price was great.
