20 Best Tube Tomato Paste (2022 Updated)

I’ve always hated following a recipe that used like a tablespoon or two of tomato paste. I’d have to open a can and then the leftovers would inevitably wind up getting moldy in the fridge before I could use them.

Enter the Cento Tomato Paste Tube. You can find this stuff on the shelf in the grocery store right next to the traditional cans of tomato paste. It costs like $3 but you have the satisfaction of knowing that you are able to use every bit of what you bought instead of having to throw away leftovers and buy new cans repeatedly.

I use this Cento Tomato Paste in pasta sauces, pot roasts, meatloaf glazes, etc. It is double concentrated so a little goes a long way and the tube keeps it fresh for several months in the fridge. I highly recommend it!.

So convenient to have tomato paste in a tube instead of in a can. I mix it with spaghetti sauce to use as dip for snacks. Also useful for making barbecue sauce. Very sweet and strong tomato flavor.

I saw this used on a cooking show and thought I’d try it. It’s perfect for flavoring or when you need a couple of Tbs in your recipe. there is also no can taste you get from canned tomato paste. Convenience is awsome.

Store in the frig and it always there and fresh. No guessing what to do with the left over from the can that get buried in the freezer then thrown out. It says natural. Don’t think it’s organic but I don’t know what un-natural would be.

Tomato paste is a funny thing. Most companies don’t care about the tomatoes they start with, or the process that delivers the end result. I do. When I cook I want the best, purest products I can get! I have used Cento Paste for ever! It is always true to the traditional recipe, and has the best flavor.

It is smooth and thick and makes my sauce velvety and smooth!.

It is a necessary biological function. and the body does not produce an anti-body to it that would cause an allergic reaction. Even so, the tube of paste lists Tomatoes and salt as the only ingredients.

The can of paste lists only vine ripened tomatoes as the ingredient. I can corroborate this by reading the labels on both products I have purchased. Several websites (Fooducate, etc) also can corroborate this.

I love the squeeze paste. People should not be allowed to firebomb a review section without any proof.

Imported tomatoes has a sweater taste something I never noticed until I realized that some American brand has added sugar!!! Like what?!? I trust cento with all of their products!! One of my go to weekend brunch dish is shakshouka, and I use both their tomato paste and canned Roman tomato! The best!!.

I purchased this ‘premium’ tomato paste just to see what it tasted like and if it could justify the significantly higher price. It cost about 4 times the amount of a can of tomato paste while getting substantially less paste.

The tomato paste comes in a small tube that looks like toothpaste and the one I bought since the regular paste was out included basil. While this tomato paste appeared to be of a higher quality and was without the kind of tang/sweetness of regular tomato paste it did not taste that much better.

Since it is so expensive it is not practical, to use this for tomato sauce I would have had to probably use 4-6 tubes, which would have cost around 20 dollars versus two cans of tomato paste for 2 dollars.

It’s just not economical, if you really love tomato paste and use small quantities then I guess this would be fine but if you plan on using tomato paste in a larger quantity for cooking it’s not really worth the price.

This tomato paste in a tube is so convenient for all of those times you need just a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste and you don’t want to open an entire can. I keep this in my refrigerator at all times.

Great price on tomato paste. This is convenient and can be used in many ways. Stocked my pantry with 12 cans for a reasonable price. I add this to soups, stews, barbecue, etc. and use it for spaghetti sauce and pizza sauce.

Great tasting and thick ! It is meant to spice up to your liking. Add a can or a small amount of the can to what ever dish you want some tomato flavor. Easy to use and you can freeze the excess if there is any for a later use by placing it in a small freezer bag.

So many uses!.

Very thick and flavorful paste in cans sized for common recipe amounts without having to store the excess, which usually spoils before you use it. Conveniently packed in cardboard for easy pantry storage.

Otherwise the little cans don’t stack well on a shelf. My wife loves them so I always make sure there are at least three cans on hand. The cans could be improved by making them more stackable where the bottoms fit into the tops of the cans below.

This tomato paste has a good taste and perfect thickness. I have always opted for a name brand that’s been around a long time. But Members Mark has just as good of a supreme taste. Now I can enjoy good taste for less $.

I always had a problem with tomato paste. It comes in tiny little cans, but a whole can in a dish was way too much. I always needed only a third to a half can at most to make the right consistency pasta sauce.

Then I’d often find myself with a forgotten storage container of tomato paste in the back of the fridge growing moldy. No more, since I found this nifty tubed sauce. I can dispense the right amount whenever needed and then just cap the darn thing and put it back in the fridge, no mess, no fuss.

Ahhh, the lack of science experiments in the fridge just makes me feel that much more organized. Did I mention that it tastes great too? Fresh, clean tomato flavor, not sweet like some others.

Nice and thick, very good flavoring, not overpowering. I use it in soups and made baked beans with it and maple syrup… turned out scrumptious! Love the tube vs the can too.

double concentrated? tastes like triple! I feel like I’ve tried them all and HLTHPUNK is the winner – super concentrated, rich, sweet Italian tomato paste – none of the ‘tinny’ taste that you sometimes find in tomato paste.

This device is so much easier to use than my blender. Instructions are easy to follow and smoothies come out just the right consistency and thickness for a wonderful drink treat. Love it. Very easy to clean and not taking up much space in the kitchen.

My husband doesn’t even notice the missing salt. And this tomato paste has no sodium at all. Win, win. So glad I stumbled on your website, as the low salt and no salt items are harder to find locally, especially with Covid!.

TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI’d have to say I love the taste of this product. I made meatloaf using this and the Mrs dash meatloaf mix. When I first got it I was disappointed at the size of the jar but it was my fault for not paying attention when I first added it to my cart.

I’d have to say I’d buy this again next time in a larger quantity. Only thing that disappointed me was the price for shipping and handle. I plan on making sloppy joes after I get a few jars of this.

It’s organic (that’s a gigantic ‘plus’ all by itself), the flavor is fresher than most ‘canned’ tomato paste, it comes out of the jar more easily than the stuff packed in little cans, it’s packed in glass (no worries about what’s leaching out of the metal can or the can’s seam(s)), and you get SEVEN ounces instead of the ‘usual’ six.

Even though most tomato paste is packed in 6-oz. cans, I go ahead and add the whole 7 ounces to whatever recipe I am making if it calls for a can of tomato paste. I like the extra ‘tomato’ flavor and the smoothness of the tomato paste in sauces, soups, or sloppy Joes.

This definitely is my favorite tomato paste.

So glad this is available. We use it for Italian sausage with sauce. Sausage is SO salty on its own – we add NONE. We use a brand of (carton) lo-so tomato puree/crushed tomatoes with this paste, so when the sausage cooks in this sauce the dish has just the perfect amount of salt.

Otherwise if you add salt or don’t use the lowest sodium products it will taste like brine and be inedible, also unhealthy.

I use this tomatoe paste in my spaghetti gravy! It’s a great way to get thicker – more tomatoe-y sauce! They are really cheap the perfect addition to any pasta sauce. It’s always great quality convenient.

Last ingredient. First Impression: red thick grainy ketchup looking paste. It works great to thicken up a tomato sauce. Texture: grainy, thick, hard to maneuver Taste: strong concentrated tomato. Sweet and ever so slight zing – ⭐️ because if you don’t use the whole can it becomes brown and nasty even when refrigerated.

So this leaves you no choice but to use the whole can.

I use tomato paste either to give quick-cooked dishes a long-simmered flavor or as a thickener. While making tomato sauce, its supposed to serve both purposes. This paste delivered on flavor, but was the thinnest tomato paste I’ve ever seen, very soft – almost runny – in the can and offered almost zero thickening in the pot.

Once the flavor was right, it took an extra hour of reducing to get to the proper consistency. I didn’t need the whole can, for this batch, so I froze the remainder in small scoops. Make sure your pan has sides and/or is COMPLETELY level or it will spill all over your freezer.

such a large amount of tomato paste! it takes forever to go through, but that just makes it that much more of a deal. it tastes great and works in lots of different applications. i use it all the time.

I love tomato paste and this one is no exception. I substitute some of the tomato sauce in a recipe with paste. It gives it better texture and taste. This is also good in beans to give it a chili like taste and in soups as a tomato broth.

I always need tomato paste to make beef stew. This is one of the best priced tomato pastes and tastes great.
