20 Best Tummy Time Mirror (2022 Updated)

An excellent mirror that we use daily during tummy time. Bub loves to look at herself when doing tummy time and laying down on the play mat. Bub also smiles and coos at her reflection in the mirror. This mirror has assisted me in getting bub from hating tummy time (crying) to loving tummy time (smiling).

I love that it’s super light and can easily be put in the nappy bag when we are out and about.

Son loves it! Don’t have to worry about it being knocked over as it won’t hurt as it’s not real glass. The reflection is kinda like a mirror from a theme park but does the job nonetheless 🙂

My 8 week old hated tummy time on flat surfaces. (He was cool with laying on our stomach, dangling on our arms or over the bobby pillow. ) He immediately took to this. The colors and mirror caught his attention.

He hasn’t learned to grab things yet but liked when I touched the thing that makes the crinkly sound. This is a simple and effective product.

My little one loves to see the reflection. This is perfect. We can even angle it to see mommy or daddy. She loves it, and I feel safe letting her play with it. She constantly grabs for it. There are some cards that come with it, and of course, she tried to eat them, but they are heavy and plastic coated, so they show no signs of “the chew” so far.

Love this! Perfect for baby’s tummy time and great to throw in your bag and bring with you when travelling. Or even when tidying up when not using it it’s small enough to tuck away on a shelf. My baby loves the flip pictures.

I have mixed feelings about this toy. It’s fun because it has a mirror and it rolls a bit if your baby bats at it. (The mirror on my toy is not nearly as crisp looking as the product images. It doesn’t seem like there is a film to peel away causing the clouding.

) This toy is suitable for single infants that are crawling, but if you have older walking children in the house, you might find this toy to be a bit dangerous. This toy is low to the ground, but the mirror tips easily.

If a small child tries to lean and put their weight on it, they can easily fall face first. This toy also poses a tripping hazard since it is possible to step on the edge of the mirror. It’s a fun toy, and I like the details on the wheels, but I’m just not comfortable with the safety of this toy.

It has a lot of potential for falling and finger smashing if your child is past the tummy time or strictly crawling phase.

My 5 month old loves this mirror! It’s perfect for enticing him to move towards it as it is on wheels. The interesting pattern and balls on either side are also a hit when he’s sitting up. The mirror itself is quite clear and easy to clean.

My baby absolutely loves this toy mirror! He just looked at himself when he was little but now he is on the move he pushes it around too! Great entertainment for him and helps with his motor skills as he chases it.

The black and white images make it perfect for babies under 3M, whilst the mirror and sensory features cater for them as they get older. Fantastic product!

Absolutely love this. Great design and unique concept. It’s a gift so I didn’t open it but it looks fabulous quality.

My daughter absolutely loves this book. Great height when standing for tummy time. Mirror is a good size and the crinkle pages keep her engaged

A brilliant idea, but once the batteries start to go…wow it’s creepy, slurring it’s words and only flashing one eye. Also turned it off at one point and it turned itself back on. Ended up removing the batteries when daughter was a bit older as it malfunctioned more than it worked.

Also quite scary when you forget it’s on in the dark and see 2 big eyes in your mirror! The remote could be improved too.

This has saved our car rides! So cute for bub to look at and have little chat too. Sound is good quality. Mirror is great size to be able to see bubs while you are driving. Really happy we got this!

Has stopped my baby’s car melt downs. She had hated the car from the day we came home from hospital. Now I can leave the house without feeling like I’m torturing her. Comes with a remote which is handy to turn off if she falls asleep.

I was excited when I received this product for free in the mail in exchange for my honest option because I was in the market for something to keep my baby occupied when in the car. The pros of this mirror is that it is multifunctional with its lights and music.

I also really enjoy that It came with a remote that I can clip on to my sun visor and use to activate mirror while driving. My baby really gets a kick out of being able to see me looking at him through it and he really loves the music and lights.

Now on to the cons. When I removed the mirror from packages there was not any directions on how to install the mirror on the seat. Although installing seems simple enough, I’m not sure if I have done it right because it seems pretty unstable.

Con #2 is that although the picture shows a ring of 5 lights popping up on mirror, my mirror only Has 3 that turn on. Also when the lights turn on, I can no longer see baby in the mirror, because it turns blurry and full of glares.

The light also don’t move around so it pretty much makes the mirror pointless while lights are activated. Final con is that the remote that came with my mirror does not function very well. The volume buttons don’t really work and the range of detection isn’t the greatest! It takes a bit of moving around and button spamming before the mirror will turn on or off.

I was one of those moms who swore they would never buy colorful baby items and everything for our car (carseat, mirrors, shades, etc) has been black or gray. My oldest (daughter) hated car rides as a baby.

It made traveling miserable. My youngest (son) was mildly better, but more because of the fact that he had constant entertainment from my oldest when in the car. However, days she is at preschool he is back to being fussy in the car (most times).

This product arrived days before we were to travel overnight to Florida – about an 8. 5 hour drive. Immediately after unpacking it my children squealed with delight over the lights and sounds. So much so we hung it in their playroom until they went to bed that night because neither my husband nor I wanted to deal with the backlash of taking it away to install in the car while they were enjoying it so much! I knew at that moment that the Brice Baby In-Sight Magical Firefly Auto Mirror was going to be our saving grace for our upcoming drive.

We used it for several days leading up to our trip and sure enough it is a miracle worker. My little guy loves the lights and sounds and doesn’t make a peep when it is playing. We made the drive to and from Florida and turned the mirror on anytime we had to stop for gas and it lulled my son right back to sleep every time.

The remote is brilliant – we still haven’t changed the demo batteries out of it, but are aware they aren’t intended for regular use. There is a slight rattle of a speaker noticeable on a few of the songs, but my children do not notice and it could have very easily been caused by how loud they turned it the first day we got it and they were playing with it.

I refuse to take this out of my car and can’t believe I missed out on potentially sanity saving products in the past!.

This should be a necessity on your list of what to buy for a baby, just as much as needing diapers. This mirror saved my baby’s life, I’m sure of it. While driving one day my baby started having a seizure.

She wasn’t making any noise though, so if it hadn’t been for this incredible mirror I wouldn’t have seen this happening. I was able to react right away and because of the quick response from emergency personnel, our baby has recovered 100%.

Still the scariest day of my life, but if I could recommend anything to expecting parents BUY THIS MIRROR. ! Enjoy the funny faces you will see in your rear view mirror and also prevent emergency situations with the simple view of your little one.

We love this mirror! We bought one for each of our vehicles. Once we got it positioned right it was awesome! It does take a few drives to get it right – I think the mirror settles after a few – then when you place the mirror angle it stays perfectly.

I don’t understand the comments saying theirs shakes badly or rattles, it doesn’t in our cars. Maybe it’s the type of vehicles they have? -Maybe they don’t have a smooth drive. We have Acura SUVs. This mirror works great!.

I love this product and the ability to watch my baby As we drive! I am also not sure why other people claim it rattles as it has two clips in the back and makes noises! It also has a leather finish and looks very sleek in our cars! I do get that it’s main purpose is a mirror but wish it had some soft small light for when it’s nighttime to check on baby.

Ohh… I absolutely loved this cute and colorful activity cube. It has everything to keep the little ones happy and engaged. It has so many different textures which makes the little minds explore a lot.

The mirror also helps the little ones to see themselves and feel excited and happy. All The different shapers and colors are so exciting. It is a perfect for little hands and they can easily hold and grip it.

Pillow was too small for my son and not enough cushioning. It didn’t help him sit up or with tummy time. He was 16 lbs when we got it and it was still too little. The toys fall off really easy, and now he plays with them.

I received the Back Seat Mirror-Rear View Baby Car Seat Mirror by Baby & Mom and use it with a rear facing infant carseat. I have used a few different kinds in the past. There are a few reasons why I like this mirror.

It is super easy to install and tighten on the headrest. I didn’t have to worry about getting it completely straight when tightening it because it pivots once it is secure to the headrest without having to change the placement of the straps used to secure it to the headrest.

The mirror is a good size. With the previous mirror I used, I could only see my child from the chest level up. With this mirror I’m able to see almost every part of my child with the exception of his feet(and he is 16 months old).

The previous mirror I used had a light on it which this one does not have, but to be honest I never used it due to replacing the batteries and misplacing the remote. I think the trade off of having a bigger mirror outweighs the lights.

The mirror is also good quality and it seems well made. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a great mirror for their rear facing child.

I’m in love with this mirror! It felt like getting glasses for the first time (if you know, you know). I could finally see my kids how I wanted to in the car. Tossed our old car mirrors in the trash immediately.

I ordered two, and then quickly ordered 2 more to replace our old ones. I’m obsessed. The mirror is large so you can see baby/toddler head to toe. I love that you can tilt it without adjusting the straps.

I LOVE THIS MIRROR! It is large so it is very easy to see my baby in the backseat. It is very easy to install, all you do is clip it in to the headrest and tighten the straps (there are other options and instructions as well, if you dont have a headrest above baby).

Very sturdy and can be adjusted with ease without having to move the whole unit. By FAR the best mirror I have had!.

We bought one of these for our infant and liked it so much that we bought a 2nd for our toddler who is still rear-facing. I like how easy it is to turn to whatever position you need and attaches well to the seat.

This fun little mirror is perfect for babies in the “tummy time” stage. The mirror props up nicely so the baby can see herself when she lifts her head. The crinkly noise is entertaining and engaging for baby.

The attached ring gives baby something to chew on during tummy time as well. As with all Fisher-Price toys, the colors and pictures are adorable. There is also a little felt latch so that the toy can become its own carrying case.

The drawbacks: it seems like the felt latch will stretch out or tear and become useless over time. Also, the mirror doesn’t list a maximum age, but I think once a baby is able to crawl around she will no longer be interested in this toy.

Before that though, it’s great.

This little mirror is very cute! My babies have enjoyed it, and I really like it too. The smaller size makes it very easy to store in the diaper bag (making it perfect for taking along to dr appointments or other situations where we have to wait).

It’s small enough to play with in the car or waiting room, and is perfect for tummy/playtime at home. The crinkle portion of it is my daughters favorite part, and she also likes the attached toy for chewing.

This little toy may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but we like it more for its simplicity. It’s definitely something we’ll be keeping in our diaper bag, and would recommend to other parents as well (and to babies who like to see themselves.

The Fisher-Price® Crinkle Crew Activity Mirror™ is such a fun and engaging toy for my little one! She loves to look at herself and babble!! She seems to enjoy watching herself while biting on the attached teething toy.

She also likes to carry it around and make it crinkle. I really like that it has a way to prop the decent sized mirror up while the crinkle pad is laying flat! Super smart design, fun colors, and adorable giggles during playtime! I would definitely recommend the Fisher-Price® Crinkle Crew Activity Mirror™ to anyone.

I don’t know why the pictures for baby toys always make them look so much larger than they actually are! It’s incredibly frustrating! Aside from being smaller than I had imagined, this is a pretty good toy so far.

We don’t have a crawler yet but he loves his tummy time and is already eager to push and scoot his way closer to this little toy whenever he sees it. He was immediately drawn to it and it keeps his attention for some time.

I mostly like that of all the toys with baby mirrors that we have, this is by far the clearest and most accurate one. He can actually see his true reflection in it and not some wrinkled up, distorted version of it.

Overall I do recommend, especially for pre-crawling babies as I think it’s a good encouragement for attempting to move more, just keep in mind it may be smaller than you expect if you are just going off of the manufacturer’s pics next to clearly photoshopped babies.

I bought this toy when my son was 10 months old, as he was RIGHT on the verge of crawling and I was looking for a toy to help encourage him. The rolling toys that light up and make sounds were a bit aggressive for his liking.

He loves this little toy, and it does just what I was hoping- gets him reaching, scooting and moving after it. He also loves rolling it back and forth with me, playing with the little beads/roller and watching the beads on the side as it rolls.

The mirror is so much fun! My only regret is not finding it earlier, as I’m sure he would’ve loved it during tummy time as well. It’s already a great value, but buying it for a young baby would REALLY help you get your money’s worth!.

I purchased this item for my 8 month old because I was searching for a mirror for him to look at himself while doing tummy time. I also thought this would be a great toy for him to crawl after. I love that this toy does not make a lot of noise or light up in any way.

My little one was definitely interested in the toys on the front as well as in the sounds it makes when you roll it. I did not pay attention to the age range for this toy and definitely would have love it when he was little younger.

My 7 month old grand daughter loves her Ambi Toys Baby Mirror. I only ever bought Ambi Toys for my own daughter and so the Ambi Toys tradition carries on to this new generation of babies. Ambi toys are top quality in their structure.
