20 Best Turbo 2 Case (2022 Updated)

The fit on this OtterBox symmetry for a Note 20 ultra is poor. The problem is the that powerbutton is already pressed down with the case on. It fits tight around the power button. For this reason, the feedback when u press the power button is very poor.

There is no audible click like you would have for the volume buttons or any other case. Another negative thing about this case is the fact that the back camera bump does poorly with a glass screen protector for the camera bump.

The glass screen protector is slightly too thick and that actually comes in contact with surfaces when okay it down. When you put your phone down, the phone doesn’t rock, because the back plastic is flush through the back.

There is no rocking back and forth due to the huge camera bump. But a screen protector slightly nudges it a bit higher, but it’s almost negligible. The protection on this case is still very good. It’s an OtterBox.

The case is slippery though. The texture does not allow for a good grip in the hand. You are really relying on the rubber edges to make sure she phone doesn’t slide out of your hand. The pro tour being slippery is that it fits in and out of your pocket very well.

Returned … was way too tight, scratched the top edge of my new phone trying to put it on. It will fit with a lot of force but didn’t put it on all the way since I was pretty sure I would not be able to get it back off, and tended to like a different case better.

Maybe the one I had was defective, but the fit was not good and the inside lip that slides over the phone is hard so it left some scratches on the metal finish on the top edge of the phone. I had an Otterbox Symmetry Stardust case for my last phone (Samsung Note 10+) and overall was very happy with it, and it protected my phone well and fit great too, not like this one.

My daughter-in-law had one too on a different Samsung, and it took all kinds of abuse and drops but her phone is still perfect. It did yellow a lot over time, so they do not age very well. If you are looking for a good balance of protection and looks, the Otterbox Symmetry is a great option, but hopefully the fit is better.

I ended up going with the Samsung brand clear kickstand case from Best Buy instead and am really liking that one and it was a lot better value too.

I’ve been through three different symmetry series cases for older galaxy models, and this s22 ultra design is my least favorite. I was expecting the perimeter of case to be more of a comfortable rubber with slight grip to it like previous versions, but unfortunately it’s very stiff, hard plastic.

I find it uncomfortable to hold and dangerously slippery. The corners dig into my palms, as do the sides of case which are angled upwards to a point, instead of being flat along edge of screen. The camera opening is far too large and does not provide any protection.

This really saddens me because Otterbox has been my go-to for phone cases for many years. ) : I’d like to try some of the other style cases but colors are terribly lacking, and there is not even a solid white option in any of them.

Please consider offering solid white, and also a peachy rose gold version – similar to the s22 plus colorway which is very popular among women.

1. 25 inches of the screen edge is left fully exposed due to the cutout for the power button fingerprint sensor. Other name brand cases that I’ve looked at provide access to the fingerprint sensor without exposing the screen edge.

I do not plan on using the fingerprint sensor and would prefer that it was covered. The case could have been designed with the button covered, and that covered section being removable if needed. If not for this design flaw this would be a great case.

I have used Otterbox cases exclusively for several years now. Recently changed to a Galaxy A32 phone. Unfortunately, they don’t make the Defender series for this phone. This case has no screen protector built into it like the Defender did.

Also, the outer shell of this case is hard plastic and VERY slick, which makes it very difficult to hold onto, which actually causes me to drop the phone more than I would if there were no case. The rubber sleeve is inside the hard shell, which is opposite the design of the Defender.

In all honesty, after using the Defender series for so long, I really can’t recommend anyone purchase this case.

I would give this NO STARS if I could. Now, that might be a little over the top. Let me explain it to you like this. This is my 3 Otterbox. I’ve owned 2 previously. 1 for the LG V30 thin Q and then 1 for the LG V40.

And they were GREAT. I really think that you, OtterBox, dropped the ball on the one I own now; the Galaxy A32 5G. And I almost understand. The phone is sub-par at best. And the only reason I have it is because I hated the LG V40 and this phone, A32, was free via T Mobile.

With that being said, let me tell you my biggest gripe with this OtterBox. Take Note. There are NO PORT COVERINGS. What do I mean? Go look at the LG V40. Even though I hated the phone, the Otterbox for it was great.

I hold my phone mostly in my left hand. with my pinky cradling the bottom of the phone. With out the Port Coverings and the Not Rounded, slightly sharp edges to those ports, Openings, My pink has developed a Callus? Or quite possibly some dentation from the port opening? Either way, MY FINGER HURTS!!! EveryTime I Use my phone, Your Case, is causing me Pain and Discomfort.

I guess that I should thank you, I no longer look at my phone as much as I used to. Anyway, I’m now in a lose/lose situation. I hate the phone and I hate the Otterbox. But, as a company that usually does a good job and provides a good product, maybe, Just Maybe, because the phone sucks.

You shouldn’t skimp out on Covering. Just saying. P. S. It’s funny that Otterbox was flagged as being miss spelled as I typed out this review. Ha, ha. Nice.

I’m very satisfied with the Encased SlimShield case. It protects the phone from day to day wear & tear without adding much bulk. It’s attractive; plastic is a little soft so expect some scuffs / scratches over time, I consider it something that I’ll need to replace from time to time, just like a screen saver, if I want to keep the phone looking nice.

It’s a little smooth / slippery when new, but it seems to have gotten more grippy over time with use / wear & tear. Nice bonus is that it surrounds the Turbo 2’s protruding power & volume buttons, making them recessed & not so easily bumped.

This is the 3rd Motorola phone I have had. So far superior to the other 2. And they were good. Always had good service from a Motorola product. I definitely recommend this phone.

I love the look of this case, and it seems to be quite protective, but it is slippery. It slides on counters easily, and is harder to hold on to than other cases I have had.

I like the case for it’s appearance and protection. The one thing I do not like, is that it is very smooth and therefore, slippery.

Good to look stylish but definitely not long term. Unless you don’t use your phone all day every day.

This protector looks really good and seems to provide excellent protection, particularly against dropping (sorry, I will not deliberately test such a capability on my phone!) Smoke grey/red combination is the best (there’s also a clear/red version) automatically giving the phone a very high-tech look.

Nice design; fits like a glove, it’s pretty well finished and the added protective mass on the sides actually makes the phone feel much better hand held. Only drawback I can mention is that the smooth, shiny finish, is quite annoyingly prone to show greasy fingerprints everywhere.

A bit of a textured finish on the backside was in order (it is textured inside). Anyway, even though the Droid Maxx 2 (Moto X Play) is 2 years old now, if you still own it or want to purchase a new or used one and you are into taking care of it, I can say this TECH21 protector case is the one to have.

I’ve had owned 2 of these. I Love it. U can drop it, be Worrisome of hurting it. It’s saved a lot of Buying Phones. Soo so Awesome. I wouldn’t go no where even in my house w out it closed. So convenient.

I can put money, Cards, & notes etc, on the side. So u want have to take ur wallet or ur purse in. Recommend to everyone. Awesome money saving Item. Whoever invented it, became Rich. Ive owned 2 now my 3rd.

Nice case, fits tight and looks great. The color is a compliment to the phone and its easy to hold on to. Without the case the phone is a little bit slippery but now it stays put on the dash or in my hand.

And the case is tapered at the edges just like the phone, so it all looks good too. Here’s a review with no complaints. Enjoy.

I liked the color of the phone so finding a clear case for my new phone was a real treat. I am thrilled with this case it is sturdy, thick plastic and covers the on/off and volume buttons. I can also say that I have had some cases for previous phones that I could barely get on my phone, this one fits very securely but was not difficult to put on the phone, I’m loving it!.

While providing good protection and looks cool as a clear case, its very slippery and I drop my phone more because of the case that’s made to protect it.

thicker than I thought it would be but still is nice. Had to cut the side away near the buttons because being so thick it was hard to push them.

I have had a case like this. Few months i think , it was used already. So not sure how long it really lasted. But the hard plastic is what finally gave out. It’s not a case to be taken off much. The more I took it off the more it began to break.

I even taped part of the Bottom together so I could get another case. But the main reason for my review is to let all know I had no problems using a wireless charging pad with this case. 🙂 I do have a diff case know.

But mainly cuz I wanted something that felt lighter. And easier to take off if I needed to.

This OtterBox fits my Droid turbo 2 nicely. I like that it has a lip around the front of my phone to somewhat protect it if the phone lands screen down. The color is nice but is hard to keep clean.

Love my OtterBox. Even came with a screen protector! Money well spent.

I’ve put this case through the trenches and it’s never let me down. Countless drops and environmental exposure. The fitment is perfect. The materials used are strong yet extremely lightweight and comfortable to grip.

A must have investment!.

I had this this model of case on my last phone, only in day-glo green. They went through hell and high water together. When the phone died (through no fault of the case), the replacement was about 1/16″ longer, so the old case wouldn’t work.

I’ve tried 4 other cases on the new phone and they were all too thick and/or not protective enough. I’ve tried and tried to find this case in the bright green, but have reluctantly admitted that if doesn’t seem to exist.

Since I would immediately lose my phone if it were black, I settled on this pink. It’s not as bright as I might wish, but I know it will continue to protect my phone until it dies of old age.

The case is very attractive and very durable. I have a Motorola Turbo 2 and want to protect it from all the hazards that I can. This one replaced my first Incipio case that simply showed too much wear.

I dropped that phone on concrete and other hard surfaces over the years but the phones were never damaged.

I ordered this case cover for my new Samsung Galaxy S9 in the irredcent Red/Black. I used Incipio for my last phone and I can’t say enough about how GREAT these phone cases are. I have dropped my phone many times and the phone and case are UNHARMED!! I just LOVE INCIPIO PHONE CASES.

I bought this exact case when I bought my phone and it has protected my phone supremely! Dropping it on concrete, ceramic tile, constantly off the couch or my office chair as I fall a sleep. Never a scratch or a broken screen.

Phone in mint condition. I got this new case only because I had washed it so many times, daily! I wore away the exterior coating on the hard shell part. The Incipio DUO PRO is their best drop protection line.

First and foremost,Otterbox is the best phone protection money can buy period. With today’s economy and price hike on our electronics we cant afford not to protect our investments with products like the Otterbox.

I just upgraded to a Turbo 2 from a 4 year old Motorola Droid Razr M that had spent its life in a otterbox. The razr was handed down to my daughter and it looks and works like the day i bought it. There are no substitutes for protection Otterbox is the best !!!.

This is the third Otterbox I have bought and will buy more when I upgrade phones. Great phone protection. I have dropped my phone countless times and have never had any problems out of my phone. My old phones looked like brand new when they were taken out of Otterbox.

The only complaint I have is the holster is a little weak.

I give it 5 stars because. It is quite stylish. The control buttons are pronounced and easy to feel in the dark , so you know what button you are on. The hard plastic is ridged but easy to install. Once installed it if snug fitting and the phone does not move around in the case and the buttons are in perfect position to operate the phone.

I have dropped the phone several times on my garage floor and on pavement. Haven’t even marked up the case. It does not have a screen protector , So I would recommend having one installed. The Turbo2 Has a shatter proof screen.

But it can be scratched. So if you add the screen protector along with the ,Verizon Silicone Cover Protective Case. I say you are ready to go I would recommend this cover to my friends and family. PS I Guess It only comes in Red , I had to redye mine Black so I could tell it from my wife’s phone.

Great phone case! The case fits in place and does not come off. Yet, one does not have to struggle to fit it onto the phone. It is soft to absorb shocks and does not mark up or scratch.

This is my 3rd Otterbox Commuter. This case has kept all my previous phone well protected. Got this one in blue and the phone is the new S22+ in green. While the case much covers the entire phone the rear camera lenses show through with the green and this makes a great contrast.

My last phone, a S10 had an Otterbox case and screen protector and when I took the case and protector off the S10 was in pristine condition. This gave me the full $800 trade-in value.

very sturdy, but not too bulky. smaller feeling than the defender which feels too big. It is somewhat slippery compared to the defender which has a grippy feel but still good. It is a two part build but it can still pop in and out without taking the two apart.

this has just the right amount of protection without feeling like too much or too little. The only thing I would like is a little more grip to it when holding one hand.

Will almost certainly protect my phone if I drop it (already did, actually). Unfortunately, it is a very slippery material so I’m more likely to drop it in the first place, especially when I try to text/use my phone with just one hand.

This was never a problem with my old case/phone. As far as I can tell, the Grip model has the same slippery material on the back, which would not provide the extra friction where I need it. In other news, but the 2 piece system makes it REALLY easy to get the case onto the phone with a snug fit.

I have been using Incipio phone cases for the last 5yrs. When I joined my employer they gave me a phone with an Incipio case. Even the old versions of the Duo were great. The Duo for the Pro Max is exactly what I expected.

I had my iPhone 7 Plus for 4yrs and have dropped it 1000’s of times and the phone screen never cracked, the case never broke, and I will be able to trade my phone for the first time and save some cash.

Phones now are so expensive it is a must to protect your investment and this case is like buying insurance for your phone. Best of all it doesn’t take away from the functionality of the phone. Every time I buy a new iPhone I order my case first so I don’t have to worry about dropping it when it arrives.

The case is OK, but it is not as good as the dual pro it replaced. I’ve had a dual pro on several iPhones from the 4 thru 11. The old design always fit and felt great. It was so natural, it just seemed like it WAS the phone.

The new one is an odd shape that’s harder to hold. It’s not really square and it’s not really rounded. The buttons are hard to push and unresponsive if you don’t hit the exact right spot. It is way too slippery.

Having more grip was always a big selling point for me to choose incipio over other brands. I don’t doubt the Duo will protect the phone, but I am now more likely to drop it.

I bought this case for my new phone for the same reason I always buy an otterbox, because they are basically the gold standard for cases, or at least they used to be. Initially I found this case on amazon and noticed that the case was listed as for the iphone 13 pro max as well as the iphone 12 pro max, looking into this i learned that those 2 phones have different widths so i was concerned.

then looking on the otterbox website, i was relieved to see these cases individually listed and the iphone 13 pro max case being specifically marketed as a case for this phone alone. So i ordered this case and what do I see when it arrives, a big sticker on the front that says for the iphone 13/12 pro max.

I looked further into it and in the FAQ section there was a statement saying that an iphone 13 pro max case was good for an iphone 12 pro max case, but not the other way around. how can this be? according to otterbox this case is specifically engineered to the exact size and dimensions of one phone, how can it also be compatible with another phone of different width? now that I have it on my new phone, i noticed the areas that cover the side and power buttons are a bit retracted/pulled away, as if it was not quite the right dimensions.

So now instead of a case for each phone that fits perfectly there seems to be a case that fits both phones in a slightly less than perfect manner. the reality is that this case fits about as good as any case on amazon for less than half the price, so think twice about it before you purchase this.

I bought this case because I have always bought an otterbox case due to them being the absolute best option for protecting your tech investment, i dont think thats the situation anymore. I think this will be the last time I buy an otterbox until I hear about some improvements, and honestly the hunt has already begun for a case that fits better.

I have had 6 commuter cases on 4 iphones. They are my favourite case. The knurled side edges. The dust boot over the charging port. Easy to install, and easy to remove. Just the right amount of lip on the front of the screen (Defender series is WAY too much lip) And twice the Commuter has saved two phones from certain death.

That being said. I have a new iPhone 13 pro max and i bought my commuter case as usual, and yes while it will charge via magsafe – it DOES NOT have magnets embedded in the outer case! This was such a HUGE let down for me.

i purchased 3 Apple Magsafe chargers, and a magsafe wall mount for the shower and this case wont stick to them AT ALL. Just falls off. Come on Otterbox, you’re better than this to release a $60cad case that is missing a critical feature that your competitors have.

So till i find a better option this one is going back and i’ll keep using the awful $70cad apple case as it actually sticks to things but in no way will protect the phone. Sigh.

Been several yrs since I’ve purchased an Otterbox. I recently bought another Commuter when I purchased a new iPhone 13. The newer case seemed lighter and slightly less protective than the previous 2018 purchase.

However, it is lightweight and slimmer. Button access is accurate. Color choice selection is, at the time of purchase minimal. Overall, I cannot complain, it’s protective and stylish enough. But the older case seemed more substantial.

I have been a long time otterbox customer, but there is a definite design flaw with the s22 ultra commuter case. This is my SECOND case. The first one had the same bubbling problem as the one I have now.

I bought the first commuter case directly from otterbox and after three months it started coming away from the screen in the top corner. I tried to RMA it but their return policy is garbage so I had to buy a second one.

This time the case lasted about four months and the same problem happened again. This is after normal use. Maybe for my next phone I’ll get an otterbox, but fool me twice, shame on me.

Longtime Otterbox customer. My wife and I pre-ordered brand new Galaxy S22’s, and were needing cases before they were delivered. Checked several retailers, and found little to no availability, so I ordered them directly from Otterbox.

Glad I did, because 1) they were available, 2) they were actually less expensive than the only other option, our carriers accessory store. As usual, great protection, fit, and quality. If you want real protection for your investment, buy an Otterbox.

I love this, the color is muted and not in your face pink, it is sturdy and I have no issues with using the side buttons or accessing the USB C port. I’ve already dropped my new phone 2 times and against hard wood floor and it’s like it never happened.

Great case and although durable, not too bulky. My phone wallet also was able to adhear to it easily with no issues. Definitely recommend!.

I bought the Motorola Droid Turbo ballistic because it is solidly built. After 6 months of carefree use, I missed my pocket and the screen shattered. So now I carry the extra bulk of a very good looking leather case.

The front window is nice to check the time but could be improved by adding the date, temp, etc. The case is smooth, elegant and fits a pocket with ease. The leather give protection with some shock absorption, which is as much as you can do to protect while on the go.

Overall, it is a good choice if ya gotta have a case.

Not only does this case provide privacy to what’s on your screen, it also adds pretty good protection from scratches both on the front and back. BTW, I didn’t know that the Droid Turbo has a function that makes your screen go blank when a cover touches it.

So even though there is a small see-through rectangle in the case’s cover, once you close the cover, your screen goes blank so nothing private is revealed through the see-through window. Nice.

Got this case for less than half of what my service provider wanted. It fits my Droid Turbo perfectly and looks great. Yes, it’s not distressed or antique looking, but that doesn’t bother me. It’s a new finish that will wear over time and develop it’s own unique look.

So far it’s done a great job of protecting the phone, and adds some neat features using the front flip cover. Well worth it at this price.

I love Speck cases and have used them for the last 5+ years with Android phones, so I checked Speck first when I switched to the new iPhone 13 pro. I was concerned about other reviews that said that this case wasn’t grippy enough or other reviews elsewhere that said the case was too tight to get on/off the phone, but I really wanted a clear case to be able to see the color of the phone I got and this just seemed like the best product for the job, and I trusted Speck enough to deliver.

First, I LOVE the clear – it meets all of the expectations I had there. Second, I didn’t find it too tight to put on at all. It’s snug but not to any concerning level or that made it too difficult to put on.

so I’m not sure what those other reviews were talking about. Third, I read some reviews that said that this case made the phone more slippery than if it didn’t have a case and it wasn’t grippy enough, but I don’t agree with that either.

The case isn’t tacky rubber but it’s definitely more grippy than without the case, and it makes me more comfortable holding it and trust that it’s not going to slip out of my hand. So. again, ignore those weird comments in other reviews.

The only issue that I have is that the case scratches more easily than I anticipated. I know that it’s not that tacky type of rubber so scratches would be more expected, but it seems to be getting scratched from the surfaces I’ve put it on more than anything else.

I have dropped my phone a few times since I got it, and the case has absolutely protected it and not cracked or broken the phone or the case so I’m glad about that, but the scratches aren’t from dropping it (otherwise I’d totally understand that).

Instead it just seems like the coffee table or side tables that it sits on most of the time are scratching it as I pick it up/put it down. It probably wouldn’t be an issue if the case wasn’t clear, but I should have thought about how scratches would look on a clear case before I decided on it.

I have a graphite iPhone 13 Pro and switched from the black version of this case to the clear. Perhaps I’m losing my mind, but I swear the clear version is a bit lighter, which is nice. I will agree with other reviewers that it was incredibly hard to get on, and now that it is on I’ve noticed some smears or something on the sides and top of the phone that I think are from the case being so tight.

I’m not sure, but I’m going to see if they go away with time otherwise I will try to take it off and put it back on. Time will tell as far as how the case holds up and quite frankly regardless of any advertising I expect any cleare case to turn yellow at some point.

Overall, though I liked the raised rubber grips of previous generations as many other people did, I really do like the way the grips have now been incorporated into the same material on the new version of these cases.

Originally the “redo” of the Presidio Grip was was terrible, but when they revised it again for the iPhone 13 lineup it seems they listened to previous reviews and made some good changes. I always think the Presidio Grip has the best feel in the hand of any similar type case; the textured areas just seem to be in the right place for holding the phone securely.

Without a doubt, the clear version of this case is probably very slippery and likely not for me as I am prone to dropping my phone and also like to take it on hikes and adventures. I just agree with other reviewers who have said the buttons are difficult to press.

That is not my experience at all, unless this has been fixed since those reviews. I have always liked Speck and although I have bought other cases here and there I somehow always go back to Speck. Yes, the cases have been damaged when I have dropped my phone but my phone has always been protected.

And isn’t that the whole point? So far I’m really happy with my purchase.

Once I bought the iPhone 7 Plus version of this case, it halted my personal iPhone case quest. I’d been through literally dozens of “The Best” cases. I’d tried all the highly rated cases and the 50-foot drop tested cases (if you know the website I’m referring to, it sets a very high bar on case protection).

I don’t go through a lot of cellular phones. or cases – once I’d decided on a case. I’ve just now upgraded from the iPhone 7 Plus to the the iPhone 13 Pro. My wife did a similar update, going to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The Speck Presidio Grip was highly rated back when the iPhone 7 was new (Eh?). I’d been through a lot of cases, over 2 dozen of the highest rated cases at the time, on a quest for perfection, which landed on the Speck Presidio Grip.

Once I’d recently upgraded to the iPhone 3 Pro didnt’t even look at current iPhone case reviews – I ordered a Speck Presidio2 Grip case. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t look at current reviews before ordering, which seem to downgrade this case for the recent changes.

The Presidio Grip was highly rated back in the iPhone 7 Plus days. The rubber grip lines weren’t just a design/fashion statement – they made the case very grippy. I went through two Presidio Grip cases for that phone, with the rubber grip-strips wearing down after years of use on my first version of this case.

I didn’t mind that it “wore out” after years of use. The Presidio Grip was my “perfect iPhone case”, due to the grippy-ness, combined with the slimness, and the protection. I just recently upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro, and immediately ordered a Speck Presidio2 Grip case for it.

I was surprised to see some of the current reviews, downgrading it from previous versions due to the changes Speck had made to the case. The previous rubber strips are gone, but the grip lines are still there in a different way.

It had me worrying as I waited for the case to be delivered. No need to worry. Speck’s re-make of this case to accomodate MagSafe recharging still leave it as one of absolute best iPhone cases available (IMO obviously, but also from a broad perspective).

The overall edge grip isn’t downgraded at all, which some current reviewers seem to falsely indicate. The back of the case no longer has built-up rubber grip lines on the back of the case, but has grip-line cutouts there, accomodating MagSafe recharging.

I don’t need to go on another “Case Quest” for my new iPhone. this is it, If you liked the Presidio Grip, you’ll still like the Presido2 Grip.
