A turbocharger is an exhaust gas-driven compressor used to increase the power output of an internal-combustion engine by compressing air that is entering the engine thus increasing the amount of available oxygen.
A key advantage of turbochargers is that they offer a considerable increase in power with only a slight increase in weight.
The 2JZ engine is a inline-type, six-cylinder, 3. 0-litre, 24-valve DOHC engine with sequential-multi port fuel injection. It was developed by Toyota Motor Corporation in the early 1990s for use in high-performance vehicles.
The engine utilises a cast-iron block and aluminium cylinder head, with forged steel connecting rods and forged aluminium pistons.
The engine is equipped with a single turbocharger, and produces power outputs of up to 276 kW (370 hp) in standard form. The 2JZ engine has been used in a wide variety of vehicles, including the Toyota Aristo/Lexus GS300, Toyota Supra, Toyota Crown, and Toyota Chaser.

Fully hollow construction along with internal stabilizing ribs provides ultimate forgiveness The redesigned HiBore Crown features low, deep weighting to produce an easy to hit, high ball flight. Progressive shaping provides a smooth transition from hybrid-like long irons to iron-like short irons.
It’s a seamless changeover with forgiveness where you need it and control where you want it.
Purchased online from GolfDiscount. com, June 2022, received Irons 3-days later, worked out just fine. The CLHBT Irons are Impressive. I purchased the Irons with the Miyazeki Graphite shafts, WOW. I just played the clubs recently and enjoyed their confidence building performance.
I can even hit the 5-iron with ease, with my previous clubs I never pulled the 5-iron out the bag. The old metal shaft clubs felt uncontrollable, making them unusable for me. Glad I convinced myself to spend the money, Cheers!.
I also got 2 Cleveland wedges and a 3 hybrid. I’ve used the set for 5 rounds. They are at least 10 yds / one club longer than my old TaylorMade irons. Much more accurate and forgiving. My scores are consistent, and 10-12 strokes lower than the last two seasons.
My confidence has really improved leading to a better swing. I play with a friend with a 10-11 handicap and he liked the irons – so don’t think these are only for high handicap players. Anyone will enjoy equipment that makes the game demonstratively easier.
I’m simply having more fun on the course. Unless you are a low handicap and want very workable clubs, consider the Cleveland Launcher HB turbo clubs.
The new and improved Turbo 4000 Series II is quieter and has a re-engineered housing that resists deformation during installation and prevents blade to housing interference. Utilizing advanced blade design techniques has allowed these new blowers to match the air flow of existing in-line blowers at significantly reduced noise levels.
Bought two to replace my existing blowers, which I think were original to the boat, so about 16 years old. These are noticeably more quiet – much more quiet. I almost forgot to turn them off when leaving the boat, they’re so quiet.
They move a great deal more air than the originals, too. Chaparral had Delphi Packard Weatherpack connectors on the harness, so I purchased those connectors separately and installed them. Inexpensive and simple to do, and made it very easy to just plug in the new blowers.
I highly recommend doing that to prevent modifying your boat’s harness, if it has connectors. They’re the same dims, same mounting flanges, same everything as the older blowers, just be aware you might need the Weatherpack connectors (or others???) for your particular boat.
I have found that the Attwood blower is more reliable and quieter than the Rule blowers that came with my boat, after having all 4 of them go bad within two years, twice. Last time I replaced two of the Rules with Attwoods and I just had to replace the other 2 Rules again, but the Attwoods are still working fine.
I like the Attwood three year warranty and so far the product has met expectations.
Amplify your driving experience with a Fleece Performance Holset VGT Cheetah Turbocharger. Featuring a Fleece Performance exclusive 63mm billet compressor wheel and a high flow turbine wheel; this turbo is capable of supporting 650 RWHP, without sacrificing any drivability.
Enjoy lower EGT’s, smooth and quick throttle response, big top end power, and that classic Cheetah sound. Whether it’s towing, drag racing, sled pulling, or just driving to work the Holset VGT Cheetah will get the job done.
Built with a factory certified Holset actuator that contains all new electronic components.
Great turbo! Cheaper to go this route to remedy the failed actuator on my factory turbo, in my opinion. I couldn’t see any reason to put a new actuator on a turbo that had been blowing for 100K miles.
Turbo spools great and the exhaust brake feature is back and working as it should. Thank you again for the quick shipping and everything being with the turbo for the install.
Want to go really fast? Add ST TURBOs. Hobie Mirage kayak users report as much as 10% increase in speed and more using ST TURBO fins. But it’s not all about speed. You can get top end speed and a slower cadence for cruising (less pedals per mile).
All achieved with these longer and more efficient fin designs. These longer fins can also increase lateral resistance for sailing upwind. The ST (square tip) design will require a bit more effort to pedal.
The added effort is commonly compared to pedaling a bike up a slight incline. In addition, the included fin tension screw allows adjustment to achieve lower end torque or top end speed to meet the desires of the pedaler.
This set was advertised to fit my boat but turns out they do not. However I have used another kayak with these installed and they do great. They increase resistance and make the boat feel harder to pedal.
However you do gain a sizeable speed increase with the use of these. Probably looking at going from 4mph for the normal to 6mph so cruising speed for the turbos. Be warned however, make sure that these are the right found for your kayak.

Megan Racing MR-LS-TS93 – Lowering SpringsMegan Racing Lowering Springs are made of SAE 9254 Cold Wounded Steel, one of the strongest materials. The high tensile strength and phosphate powder coating delivers excellent spring rates that are extremely durable and resist premature sagging.
Megan Racing was founded in 2001 on the belief that the goal of the automotive enthusiast should not be limited by the size of one’s wallet, but rather on their heart and passion for motor-sports. Today Megan Racing is one of the leading manufacturers of aftermarket performance parts.
High quality springs. I bought these for my 83 Celica instead, since the corolla levin and celicas shared the same suspension parts, mostly. Keep in mind that the corolla had like 3 different types of suspension setups of that generation for some reason.
One being for FWD. The rear springs fit with almost no effort, and the fronts fit pretty well too. You will have to find a new top hat and rubber insulators for the front and rear springs, though. All in all, great quality, still working on getting equal length shocks and strut inserts so my car can sit level rather than absolutely tooted in the back.
These springs lowered my 2006 Saturn Vue Base Model V6 3. 5L AWD the perfect amount. The wheels sit in the wheel wells nicely with easily enough room for bumps and turns. The handling is tighter and sportier with much less body roll, but is still completely suitable for winter in Canada (as you would want from an SUV).
Aesthetically, the improvement was very significant, it looks much more well proportioned; Somewhere between a wagon and an SUV. Alignment was not very difficult after installing these springs. I installed them along with Monroe Reflex Struts and shocks, Monroe strut-mate mounts, Moog spring insulators, and Moog front lower rearward control arm bushings so it is hard to judge in my case how much of the alignment adjustment needed was a result of these springs.
Additional eccentric bolts or nuts for control arms or knuckles MAY be necessary as they will cause a negative camber angle on all four (but particularly the rear) wheels compared with the stock/original springs.
Ive purchased a few other Megan Racing products and they are good but these coil springs are terrible. Save your money and spend a few extra bucks on some Tein springs. These dont fit properly as if they are a generic fit for many vehicles.
They vibrate at speeds over 60mph and are too stiff for hard cornering so they would not be good for track or daily driver use.
These turbos are GARBAGE! I bought 2 of them for my twin turbo set up and they both went out within 100 miles. I tried to contact motorbay to see if they would make it right and they did not. They said they would send me 2 replacement turbos and all I needed to pay was the shipping, but then they tried to charge me 350 dollars.
just for “shipping”. These people are scam artists and their product is junk. They will rip you off and try to make you pay to get ripped off again. Please save yourself a headache and get decent turbos the first time around.
Shows up wrapped in plastic and oiled. Everything looked good. Went to tear down for inspection before installation and has massive shaft play up and down. Impeller fins hit housing. Message for customer support they tell me send it to a machine shop we will give you 30$ back.
do not recommend buying this spend the extra money and get something good.
Mine just came in the mail today, and man this sucker is big! I cant speak to the longevity of it yet but upon initial inspection Im impressed. There is absolutely no shaft play. Mine did have some very slight manufacturing imperfections on the compressor housing but nothing to be concerned about.
Would absolutely recommend for the price its unbeatable.

HKS Adjustable Cam Gears allow fine tuning of the camshaft timing to maximize engine performance and tailor power characteristics for various driving conditions. Either with OEM or HKS Camshafts, adjustments can be made to tune an engine’s power band to the optimum RPM range for a particular application.
HKS Cam Gears are made completely of anodized Duralumin with nickle plated gear teeth except for applications with timing chains which utilize an aluminum slide with steel teeth. HKS engineers chose Duralumin as the core material for HKS Cam Gears because its lightweight properties decrease drag on the engine.
Precise valve timing can be adjusted and set within the range of ± 20° along a Vernier scale of 2° intervals. Each interval index is laser-etched into the Duralumin and “A” (advance) and “R” (retard) directional markers are also laser-etched on to the cam gear face.

I have used this on 1fz-fe 4. 5L landcruiser motor 80 series. goes like a rocket. The unit is limited to 6 psi and runs well on the stock ecu and fuel lines. The full 6psi boost comes on within 4 second may be 3 seconds, depending on the gear you are in.
I do not exceed 700*C for the exhaust gas temp and I have electric pump circulation of the water cooling – a must. The unit is durable and provides the performance at a very reasonable price. The exit nozzle of the compressor is too thick and causes a ledge on the output , in turn causing some turbulence.
I have ported this out to provide a smoother transition and this appears to be doing well. no specs or testing was done on this, but I feel it is worth the effort with a die grinder.
Absolutely fantastic turbo. I bought this for my budget build and expected it to last around the 1k mile mark the same as any other turbo for the same money but it has completely exceeded my expectations.
So far current mileage is on 13k and car running 1. 3 bar at 390bhp. So I have purchased another for my non budget built car. There is NO shaft play, it has a much quicker than expected spool and is one of the best quality turbos I’ve seen.
It is identical in performance to my previous turbo (borg warner s488) which I payed 1300 for. And it lasted half as long as this one. Update on the turbo: been on car for 13k miles now. No shaft play, no leaks, no dip in performance from it was installed to now, I do pulls daily in this car and didn’t expect it to last this long.
Amazing product bought for one of our race cars to try out . We made over 500 hp without any issues at all with the turbo . Very good casting and machine work well worth the money .
Garrett is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to the world’s largest Diesel engine producers. Their products are built and designed with the consumer in mind, aiming for top quality and the best efficiency.
This is one screamin turbo. From the second you cross 1100 RPMs you sound like a semi hauling a 50 foot trailer. The amount of air this thing moves and the speed at which it spools is impressive. I only have my PPE tuner on level two for the safety of my 175000 mile transmission and because I dont have a lift pump, but its a beast at that.
I’m running slightly lower boost than stock because with the EGR delete it runs at a lower boost due to the increased efficiency, but It’s as fast as the stock turbo was on bully dog extreme setting.
The way in which the power is delivered is smooth and drivable. The only downside to any turbo really on a Duramax is you’re looking at a pretty hefty install charge from a shop or setting aside a couple days.
I have an aftermarket intake pipe, a magnaflow downpipe to 4 inch straight exhaust out the back. Combined with the sinister EGR blocker plates the truck really does drive like a brand-new diesel, absolutely smooth throughout the entire power band and a smooth not rough ramp up of the boost.
I am very pleased with customer relations / service at Prosource Diesel. I spoke with a gentleman a couple of times about if this would be the right Turbocharger for my truck with the current setup before making my decision to purchase the Garrett PowerMax Stage 1.
This was a perfect fit and seams to be performing very well with my setup. Also very pleased with the shipping and delivery. All items arrived within 4 days.
Love the sound and extra power. Truck runs better then ever pulled the 26’ enclosed trailer from Colorado to Arizona then back home to Indiana with no problem way more passing power and hills were not a problem at all.
I will recommend getting the oil line with banjo fittings from the bottom side under turbo to the top of the turbo you are not getting to it after turbo is on.
The Ford Mustang phase 2 Supercharger kit by Roush is calibrated to deliver 625 hp and 525 ft. /lb. of torque to the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang 5. 0L 4V V8 Powertrain, an increase of 205-213 hp and 135 ft.
/lb. over stock. The Roush 2011-2014 5. 0L Ford Mustang phase 2 calibrated Supercharger kit is part of the TVs (Twin vortices series) line of superchargers developed by Roush that have raised the bar for performance and reliability.
This is the same line that has been used and proven for years in roush-built Mustangs and F-150. The Roush R2300 Supercharger features Eaton’s new cutting edge Twin vortices series technology (TVs) rotating assembly that delivers more power and better fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance.
The Roush R2300 TVs Supercharger is a roots-type, positive displacement Supercharger that features Twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 160-degrees. By comparison, the original Eaton Supercharger rotating assembly featured three lobes twisted 60 degrees.
The fourth lobe and added twist, when combined with newly redesigned air inlet and outlet ports, greatly enhance thermal efficiency, deliver higher volumetric capacity, enable higher operating speeds, creates a smoother, more efficient flow of air into the engine and has improved noise and vibration characteristics.
Not that tough to install. It took two weekends with help from my son. Don’t get in a hurry, do it right the first time. Read the instructions a few times before starting. Started right up. Very drivable.
From 3000 rpm’s up very fun you will need a good set of slicks in the rear if you want to hookup.
Installed this TVS R2300 on my 2012 GT and the first words that came to mind after a test drive was AWESOME!! This twin screw blower makes fantastic power with my Coyote motor! If your thinking about getting a Supercharger for your S197 – think no more as this is a SOLID upgrade that will blow your mind! I’m at Phase II and I’m at 605RWHP and can spin my rear wheels at 70 mph in 4th!!! Love this Supercharger and it will hold the value due to it being ROUSH!! Fantastic upgrade and I promise you that you will love your GT even more once you install this blower and stred some tires!!! Every cars show I attend people are asking me questions and taking pictures of my engine compartment! This is a SOLID upgrade for POWER!!! GReat job AM and ROUSH for a GREAT product! Very PLEASED with this investment in my power mods!!!.
DeatschWerks has built the most comprehensive injector offering in the industry. The DW line-up covers high impedance, low impedance, GDI, EFI, side feed, and top feed. DW not only works directly with Bosch Performance to deliver a complete EV14 line up, but also offers Denso, SMP, JECS, and Delphi options.
DW high flow fuel injectors are only offered in balanced sets processed through our multi-point dynamic flow testing system. This system replicates the dynamic frequencies and pulse widths your injectors experience in your high performance engine to create a set of injectors balanced to within 2% flow variation across the low, transitional, and linear ranges of pulse widths.
DW knows that proper data is required for proper tuning. All DW injectors are fully characterized in-house via SAE J1832 standards. Injector data is available in General Characterization Summaries and Application Specific formats.
Okay I don’t want a whole lot of horsepower yet like some of y’all are doing. For now, I was just thinking 440 horsepower. At first I had a single turbo kit. Now I have a twin turbo kit from You Tech Dynamics, but it works the same: I still need to have the 60 pound injectors.
So I paired that up with the 340lph fuel pump motor from DW, and it’s important to also have the fuel boost amplifier like the JMS. Of course I have the water-methanol injection from Snow Performance for extra protection: all an absolute must for proper delivery and safety.
Never buy knock off injectors, always go with good quality, that’s one of those things to NEVER buy knock off. The problems that it can cause could be double or triple what is paid for these good quality injectors.
There is such a long warranty on the DW injectors, which says enough about them NOT being something that would wear out quickly. Upgrading the injectors is one of the fuel mapping things to do for boost applications, it won’t increase the power of my car on its own.
When I pay the extra money for these injectors I’m really paying for the piece of mind knowing that I don’t have to just take them out in 3 months. Thanks AM for making this more affordable for me.
Im not gonna lie, these are pretty beast if youve got some mods. I threw these bad boys on my 2007 v6. Had an intake and was running lean so thought i would need some more fuel. These were definetly the right choice! The bama x4tuner really does compliment these injectors.
With your ratios running right youll be making stock v8 owners cry. The install was a little time consuming (about 2 1/2hrs) as they are slightly longer than the stock injectors. They will fit with the stock fuel rail and they will bolt all the way down.
Make sure you get a tune for the 50lb fuel injectors???? If you don’t get a tune you’re vehicle will go into limp mode. At the moment I’m waiting till Friday to get my tune then I’ll come back and write a review.
Specialized aren’t afraid to say that the GRIPTON compound is the best out there, and when combined with an ultra-supple 320 TPI cotton casing, you get a tyre that’s very special. You get the Turbo Cotton tyre.
Both materials stand for master craftsmanship, and they work in harmony to reflect Specialized’s dedication to building the world’s fastest tyres. By bringing both of these materials together, Specialized have created the best clincher tyre out there.
On my second set. The rear lasted about 4,500 miles over the lockdown spring and summer, before it became a bit square on the rolling surface. The front would be good for about 6,000 but I decided to change as a pair.
The skin walls look great and have stayed in really clean condition. The new set look brighter and fresher. Some mates said they wouldn’t use them again but I feel these tyres are as good if. Or better than Vitoria Corsa Graphenes, which I also use.
The wear indicators are a nice touch. The tyres are super grippy and I’ve really enjoyed flying through the snaky corners in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
In Southern California our streets/roads aren’t what you’d call smooth. Where I live in particular we get everything from cracks, gaps, broken asphalt and the occasional stretch of smooth road. That being said, I run 76psi on my S-Works SL7 and I’ve had zero issues.
Here’s the deal. when you put miles on a bike out on roads that aren’t pristine and have debris it’s not if, but when you get a puncture. that just goes with the territory. So for me, if a tire feels fast, smooth over rough and I can get decent mileage out of I’mhappy.
The Turbo Cotton HOTN is a fantastic tire. As a side note, I’ve road all the other 320tpi tires out there, I’ve also road the multi-ply 120tpi tires. (GP. 4000 and 5000( and every other popular tire on the market.
I bought two Hell of the North tires for late spring/early summer road riding in Colorado. Our paved roads aren’t great everywhere hence my desire for a more reinforced tire that still has a reasonably low weight.
At first, they ran well and are comfortable, but it appears the rear tire was defective. After just one short ride, I got a flat. I checked the tire before replacing the tube and felt a tiny nub inside.
It seemed insignificant (maybe even in my head) so, to be sure, I marked the location with a sharpie pen. I then replaced the tube and all was fine for two more moderate rides other than significantly lower tire pressure compared to the front.
Then the bike sat for a few days and, as I feared, the rear was completely flat. Have I mentioned that I use good tubes and that’s costing me a few bucks? I looked for the sharpie mark and located this time a tiny sharp pokey thing coming out of the tire.
It wasn’t glass. It appeared to be something inherent to the tire. The shop said it looked like a manufacturing defect and because I purchased the tires online, they didn’t offer a refund (though they deal Specialized).
I think it was a defect, too, because I have had zero problems with the other tire (albeit it’s a front tire, but still). Yet it is very disappointing given how much they cost. So, I’m going to give Specialized the benefit of the doubt and order another 28 and see if its the tire I wanted the first time around.
I hesitate to do it, again, because of the cost. But maybe my expectations are too high? Or maybe they’re too low as I don’t expect they’d give a refund based on my experience at the dealer? For context, I am an experienced and, on occasion, very fast rider who has a lot of experience in the mountains.
I take care of my equipment. I’m the random guy who rides 28s, not just for comfort, but so that I don’t have to deal with flats and other tire issues as often as people who ride 25s (or 23s if anyone still rides those).

I bought this when I overhauled my 60 series Detroit. Works great! Eliminated the waste gate so it now hits 35 psi boost instead of the 25 psi the stock turbo produced & it was nearly 1/3 the price of the stock one.
Bottom end power feels better & it kicks in faster than the Garrett turbo did. Just make sure you get a new, longer piece of flex pipe if doing the sme thing as good turbos housing is a little shorter without all the waste gate mess.
These Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger systems will boost the performance of your Mustang to impressive levels without changing the daily driving characteristics. These Mustang Supercharger systems are exclusively designed to provide instant, reliable and safe horsepower for a stock Mustang with low boost for minimum stress on the engine.
They feature minimum air restriction in and out of the supercharger, along with individual long intake runners for maximum low end torque for great off throttle performance. E-Force superchargers provide the most power at the lowest amount of boost, resulting in performance that is safe to operate on a completely stock engine.
* 2005-06 installations require the use of Cooling Upgrade Kit #15804 (sold separately). 2009 installations will require Hardware Kit #15805 (sold separately). Supercharger systems sold without tuners are only emissions legal when used with the correct Edelbrock tune, which can be downloaded on the supercharger tech support page.
Kit #15880 will fit BOSS Mustangs and will require custom tuning.
I have a 2020 1LT Camaro 3. 6 with a manual trans. It includes 4 piston front calipers, I dumped the GM stock suspension for Bilstein dual action front adjustable struts with lowering springs, and rear coilovers.
When I added the Supercharger it was like adding another engine. It has 100+ extra HP, and about 80 lb ft (standard stage 1 tune). It was difficult for my shop to install. I didn’t think I would e er get it back, but it was only 5 weeks.
The problem is that Edelbrock takes 3 hours to answer every question. So, my installer could not keep my car on a lift for 5 days while all their valid questions were answered. It was all worth it when a Shelby Mustang saddled up against me and I walked right by him.
He asked what I had in it and I said “V6, Supercharged”. He had a Supercharged V8, but was a little older. His smile turned to a frown as soon as I said V6. Oh well!!!.
After sitting on the idea of forced induction and numerous visits to the AM supercharger page, I decided on the Edelbrock set up, mainly because I live in CA and have had bad luck in finding shops with “lower tolerance” for non-CARB mods, even though it is on the pricier side.
I found myself defending my decision to some friends who I strung along the process, saying everything from wanting a conservative system for engine longevity to liking the way it looks better (I originally wanted the Procharger after having 2 other centrifugal systems on previous stangs).
All of which were true. However, after installing and tuning my car, I’ve realized it was a super smart choice. Not only do I have all the above, including being street legal (I’m almost daring a cop to pull me over just to see if I have any illegal parts, which some areas around LA are known to do, just so I can show him/her the E/O sticker I have for it), but the power is pretty amazing.
A couple things to note: First, DO GET A DYNO TUNE AFTER. The Edelbrock SCT tune is not a one size fits all solution. So for some it may work adequately, but to get the full potential, you need a professional tune to maximize your investment.
I had a baseline run with the SCT tune before my tuner altered anything, and my powerband was all over the place and only peaked rwhp at 330. After the tune, I was good for 401. Combine that with my 4.
10 gears and Brittany (my car) gets going in a hurry! Second, my tuner suggested I either get a more powerful fuel pump or a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, because my stock pump was maxing out at higher rpms, causing pinging.
Lastly, I’d suggest getting a smaller pulley because the stock 4. 6 is able to handle more boost and still be viable for longevity. This obviously depends on your particular application so either know your stuff or ask a pro first (like your friendly AM people! or your tuner).
Like many others, I took a couple of days to do the install with the help of some buddies. Overall the instructions are really good although there is some room for improvement. My case may be a bit isolated, but I noticed the tune instructions looked nothing like the tuner I was provided.
It was difficult to tell if Edelbrock forgot to install the tune or not. It turned out that I contacted Edelbrock they had neglected to install the tune. I provided some info and they emailed me the proper tune.
When it came to fire it up, they have a pre-fire checklist to ensure all is well. Well my intercooler pump would not turn on. We verified the pump was getting 12 volts, so we contacted Edelbrock again.
After some trial and error we learned that the grounding location in the instructions was not adequate on my vehicle. Adding an additional ground wire and location fixed the problem. This was an additional headache.
Once we went to fire it up, it started and immediately shut off with several error codes regarding the throttle body. After much more stress, hours and investigations, we found that the supplied harness in the kit had a pin that had backed itself out when connected (far away from the throttle body).
Seating the pin in the faulty harness solved the final issue and wala! Now the car runs great and pulls like it never has before. Power is smooth and consistent throughout the power curve. So now I am very happy despite all the issues we experienced with the install.
My advice if doing the install yourself would be to double check your supplied harnesses for loose pins. So far I’ve been very happy with the supercharger will be doing some testing on the drag strip soon.
When tubeless performance on race day is mandatory but durability for rough roads all season is just as important the S-Works 2BR delivers from cobbled classics to your daily lunch ride. Our all-new Gripton T2 compound is the fastest most efficient compound weve ever created.
Weve combined this with the legendary grip of our Gripton T5 compound on the shoulders to the Turbo 2BR more grip speed and durability than ever before six watts faster vs the previous 2BR and just 260 grams for a 26mm tire.
As a tubeless tire the new Turbo 2BR can self-seal punctures when used with RapidAir sealant that is if a puncture can ever pierce the Blackbelt protection under the tread which delivers 8% more puncture protection than the previous tire.
This new Blackbelt was created using hybrid-Kevlar protection under the tread. Youve not only got improved puncture protection but lighter weight and more flexibility for a more supple ride. The new S-Works Turbo 2BR is also compatible with both hooked and hookless rims for the flexibility to ride the wheels and pressure you want.
Our new Zylon reinforced beads also exceed hookless burst pressure standards by 200% for ultimate peace of mind. When its all about efficiency and great handling in concert with incredible durability youll see the S-Works Turbo 2BR performing everywhere from the World Tour to local training rides.
Purchased x2 tyre @ 120+ BPS – They are flimsy, the thickness between the inner tyre and outside is so thin it’s not puncture resistant. Fitted one to the front wheel to test out, it punctured within the first ride and the sealant couldn’t cope (I thought maybe the tyre was built late on a Friday afternoon!) and changed it back to another well known brand.
I put the other new tyre on the rear wheel in readiness for a sportive. All pumped up and latex filled, I set off, sadly, the tyre started to deflate after 23 miles I had to finish on a semi flat, which affected my finishing time.
The tyre is definitely not up to our roads. It was a costly mistake purchasing these tyres and recommend you steer clear of them – S Works a top name shame it wasn’t lived up to with these tyres! Think again about purchasing them – On an underwear rating rating scale (1 – 10) they are, minus -1 and pants!! An angry out of pocket 40+ years cyclist (riding 2bless tyre for the last 3 years)! Gra C.
this might be one of the worse tubeless tires out there. literally has ZERO durability. Was using the GP5000s for quite sometime and never had any issues or even a puncture. Once the tread ran through i decided to try something new.
Plus wanted to go with 26MM vs the 25MM (GP5000s). Not even 100 miles in and i suffer my first puncture on these. Crazy thing is the hole is tiny and the sealant wont work. I lose basically all the air in the tire.
Not only that but i look over the puncture area and i see a section of the tread missing. It literally was ripped off. Ive rode for years and have never seen a tire do this. I guess im not surprised because when you feel the tire the rubber seems very soft so i wouldnt expect much protection.
In terms of performance. from what i was able to experience in the first 50 miles. definitely a fast tire once you are 20 MPH+ it kicks in more. Handles very nicely on the corners. Even with all the + its still a POS tire cuz it wont last u very long.
The Cobb 20G is an ideal turbo upgrade for those looking to increase the top-end power of their STI while maintaining low and mid-range response. Capable of producing 400hp and retaining excellent throttle response, the Cobb 20G is a perfect turbocharger for street or track use!.
I purchased this turbo used with about 5k miles. My latest dyno tune was 355 on 93oct and 411whp on E85. This was also on wastgate pressure as I later found out I had a pinched reference hose. There is plenty more in this turbo.
Tuner said should be capable of 475 plus. I just have not decided to go that far to keep the motor together.
I have a 2015 Subaru STI and we have been running the Cobb 20G turbo now for about 3K miles. I have only positive things to say about their turbo. Dont let the TD05 or the 20G fool you. This little guy hits full boost at about 3K RPMs and holds it through redline.
We are running upgraded Fuel Rails, injectors, upgraded TMIC, Turbo back exhaust, Cobb Accessport, and a Cobb EBCS. On E85 we are sitting strong at 400AWHP at 19lbs. We have stock internals so we stopped at 400 to keep reliable horsepower.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an upgraded turbo. I have used competitive products to this 20G in the past and they do not compare. From the price point to the easy power it produces, its a 10 star product in my book.
Perfect OEM replacement. The only issue we had was with the Waste Gate hitting the TMIC. However, you will find this will the other products as well (From experience).
decided on this turbo for a new motor build in my sti. ive been happy with all my past cobb parts so this was an easy choice for my 400whp goal. got it mounted up to a open deck 257 with forged internals and stock heads.
made just north of 400 whp on 93 and 470 whp on e85. spools a touch slower than stock with factory header.
Turbocharging the 2JZ-GTE is a popular modification for car enthusiasts looking to increase the power output of their engine. While there are many different ways to go about this, the most common approach is to install a turbocharger kit.
This typically includes a larger turbocharger, intercooler, and other associated hardware.
The benefits of turbocharging the 2JZ-GTE are significant. Most notably, it can significantly increase the engine’s power output. With the right modifications, it is not uncommon for a turbocharged 2JZ-GTE to produce over 600 horsepower.
This can make for a very fast and exciting car to drive.
There are a few potential downsides to turbocharging the 2JZ-GTE, however. One is that it can put additional strain on the engine, which may shorten its overall lifespan. Additionally, it can make the engine more difficult to tune, and it may also increase fuel consumption.
Overall, turbocharging the 2JZ-GTE is a great way to increase the power and performance of the engine. However, it is important to weigh the potential pros and cons before making any modifications.
