I received a free sample of the Cobram Estate California Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Pinchme and I was amazed at how well it tasted. I had never heard of this brand before so I was really excited to try it.

As a user of different brands of olive oil, I am extremely impressed with this brand. I like that it’s made from 100% California olives which is local and the aroma is easy to deal with when cooking or drizzled over many dishes.

I like the uniqueness of this bottle and the size is good enough to fit in small spaces. It’s not heavy so it’s easy to hold and the Executive Pop-up Spout offers a clean and easy pour every time it’s used, as opposed to other bottles that always have that extra drip residue that remains on the tip of the bottle.

I used it on my poultry, seafood and lamb to add an extra zest of flavor, as well as in my pasta dishes. It doesn’t make the food taste bitter but gives a nice eloquent flavor. My family enjoyed all the different ways it was used when added to the dishes so I used the coupon that came with it to get a bigger bottle for another day.

I told my friends about it and they went out to buy so they could use it themselves. They all agreed that it made the dishes tasty. I highly recommend everyone to go and try it to see how it adds a great flavor to different dishes.

The French mention cooking with Duck Fat. Walmart is the only place to get it for a reasonable price. I like the spray for my non stick pans. I spray my pan before cutting on the heat. I also buy the Duck Fat in the solid form from Walmart – Fatworks Duck Fat Cage Free 14 Oz.

If you get it elsewhere and another brand, be sure and read the ingredients to make sure you are only getting Duck Fat. Gave 1 of each to SIL, and he is now sold on Duck Fat. Duck Fat will start to burn after 375 deg, a little higher than butter.

I feel buying from Walmart I know what I’m getting and the price is good. I saw the same brand on Amazon and it had several complaints.

The spray can works fine, the price is high for what you get, and it really does not taste much different to me than the canola spray. I was so wanting to enjoy roasted potatoes with that duck fat taste that I have had in the past, but this does not deliver.

I have used this spray three times so far, air fryer French fries, roasted vegetables, and prepping the grill. Worked wonderfully every time. Highly recommend.

I love using Olive Oil for cooking because of the healthy fats as well as the health benefits, but I’m not a huge fan of the taste. This Extra Light Tasting Olive Oil from Pompeian is perfect for me.

The clarity I see with the Avocado oil from Chosen Foods is very clear (unless your oils gets a bit colder and it will get a touch cloud), is impressive. Some oils seem to be cloudy and make you wonder just how pure they really are.

This one, looks smooth, clear and you feel confident opening and using the oil. The smell is really mild, nothing heavy and “oily” smelling. It seems to almost have not smell to it. Using it, I found items to taste less oily and a bit more flavorful.

Put a dash in with some califlouwer riced and get a nice texture cooking up the rice without the heaviness of standard oils and some more benefit being, what I feel a lighter flavor without heaviness.

I found making some dips or salad dressings, it seemed to really blend up well and again, just didn’t seem as heavy. Avocado oil with a vinagrette was a delightful change from some balsamic vinegrettes and gave enough of a change of pace to give me a little variety.

I found some veggies tasted better with a light coating in my pan and seemd to bring out a little more flavor. A little dash in some smoothies made them seem to be a smidge smoother and blend better.

I found this to be a nice moisturizer for my hands or some dry spots that are creeping up with the dry, cold weather. A little mask for my hands for an at home spa day works wonders. It can be messy, but hopefully you can get a helper.

Sometimes I blend a smidge with a touch of honey and slather my hands in it and have someone use some plastic wrap to gently wrap my hands up for about 15 – 20 minutes and they come out so soft. A touch in my finger beds if I feel a hangnail starting, I will put some oil on the nail bed and either put a bandaid with a a glove over it and sleep overnight and find the hangnail feeling dropped off a lot by the morning.

It keeps my finger nail beds from having scraggly, rough skin around my nails. I even use a small teaspoon once a day for the pooch either in a bowl, which my dog laps up like crazy, or a small teaspoon over food.

It helps his coat and with some of the allergy or dry skin issues he deals with, making the nibbling and scratching seem to lessen. This being 100% pure avocado oil, it is a nice replacement for other oils and haven’t had a problem using this in lieu of some veggie or canola oils, even with cake mixes.

It is my new go to oil. So happy I was able to try this product and will gladly keep using it and buying once I am done with this bottle. The way I have been using it, won’t take me much longer before I need to buy another bottle!.

Chosen Foods Avocado Oil is definitely worth trying! I was interested in this product for the potential health benefits. I’ve used it multiple times so far and it does not disappoint. The bottle is 750 ML.

This product itself is expeller pressed & naturally refined 100% pure avocado oil. It’s very easy to cook with just like olive oil and tastes surprisingly good. I really like the fact this is glyphosate residue free and NON-GMO Project Verified! This oil can be used to cook up to 500 degrees F and is fantastic for grilling, roasting, baking, sautéing, and more.

Was happy to see no additives or added sugar. In conclusion, this oil is absolutely something I would recommend and use again in the future.

I use this brand of oil in my deep fryer for various foods, such as fries, pies, egg rolls, doughnuts. The flavor can’t be beat. I have used canola and vegetable oils in the past, but they do not surpass the peanut oil with flavor.

The other oils tend to leave a burnt taste on foods, where the peanut oil does not. I had read that peanut oil is the ideal oil to use when frying at high temps. I have used this oil to deep fry turkey in the turkey fryer, and once again the turkey turned out moist on the inside and pleasantly crisp on the outside.

One last thing to mention, I resorted to ordering online, since peanut oil was not available when I went to my local stores. Thank you for saving the day, Walmart.

Most people buy this for turkey friers, but I use this in my kitchen, making french fries, donuts, potato chips, etc. I chose peanut oil because it has the reputation of having a high smoke point. I run my french fryer at the highest setting, 400F, and it doesn’t smoke at all.

If it was poorlt refined, that wouldn’t be the case. When the fryer oil level gets low, say, 30 uses over the course of a month, I demp the oil in my grease pot and use it for things like frying erggs.

Even after all that heating and cooling, the oil hasn’t broken down to give a nutty tastel it’s still essentially taste-free, as it should be when new. The box is big (there’s a plastic jug inside, but the recommend not removing it from the box), so when I get it out to refill the fryer, I refill a couple of bottles that oil came in, and I keep the box where space is not so precious as my kitchen cabinets.

I think of peanut oil as being almost as thick as corn oil, but this doesn’t give food a greasy taste. I use it as a salad oil, mixing my own version of Good Seasons Italian. When I refrigerate the dressing, the vinegar/oil mix turns cloudy and thick.

My cruet is too tall for my microwave, and too light when half-empty to warm in a water bath, so rather than getting the dressing out and waiting 3-4 hours for it to warm up, I just leave in unrefrigerated.

If you don’t use a cruet of dressing every couple of days, that’s probably inadvisable. I used to do fats and oils research for Central Soya, so I’m fairl. y informed. I avoid rapeseed (canola) and soy products in all forms; I consider them to be unfit for consumption.

Olive oil is too unstable for frying with. Lard is healthful, but it’s 2-3 times as expensive as peanut oil, so I save it for things like pie dough or biscuits. This is a very economical way to buy a really good oil for frying, and an OK oil for refrigerated dressings.

Online order, I got a less than 2 months expiry dated LouAna 3 Gal pack. There is no way we could use it in such short time 3 gal oil. Unlike other plant based oils, Peanut oil is profound to small after few months in storage, there is no way I want to waste.

Need to return to store.

I purchased 5 clear fry oils last week and was charged $25. 88. My husband purchased oil this week again for our business and was charged $38. 88. Can you please tell me if this is accurate and why the increase? Your website has both oils still posted.

Been using this oil for years, never had an issue. I have used the more expensive oils that say they keep foods from smelling and tasting the same. Honestly for us it was not difference. The Member Mark oil worked the same and last the same.

We even fry desserts without issue.

I purchased this oil at the beginning of the pandemic when I could get the regular canola oil. It is great for deep frying. I still buy canola for baking, but I also will continue to this oil.

Buying in bulk is a great way to save money, and I love that the resalable container can be stowed away in our pantry and I can portion out smaller quantities for quick access from my cupboard.

This is REFINED peanut oil, often confused with traditional Asian, commonly used semi-refined peanut oil. The most flavorful peanut oil—unrefined—is used as a finishing oil. Refined has the highest burn temperature but the least flavor.

Semi-refined is the happy medium, medium smoke point and still smells and tastes like peanuts. You wouldn’t know this from simply reading the label of this product. This product is intended for frying without imparting any flavors.

Impossible to open without injury or damage. The bottle is so flimsy that when you unscrew the lid, it twists the plastic. I even used a razor to cut the safety ring loose so that it would spin easier.

No such luck. Dropped the bottle and the bottom broke out. Half the bottle is done; all over my clothes, shoes and floor, but at least it’s open. What a waste of money.

The peanut oil deep fried a 26 lb. turkey at 350 degrees flawlessly. The Turkey developed a light and crispy skin while maintaining juiciness. The oil held its temperature easily with little adjustment.

No burned oil taste! I have since bought 5 more gallons to keep on hand for deep frying whole chicken.

100% Peanut Oil – 35 lb. It’s a 5 star product but was damaged when received so yeah. Thankfully webstaurant made it right so only some of it was salvageable since I didn’t really have anything to transfer it to, good product though, decent quality, peanut oil (if you’re not allergic) is usually the best way to go, tastes better and is a lot healthier than most oils.

I have been deep frying turkeys for years. I deep fried two 18 pound turkeys in one day with this peanut oil. When I served it, there was nothing left but bone! This oil is great quality and great price.

This here is what we call a dupe. Yes, works just as well as name brand and you get more for your money. Why would anyone buy the other. ? For name brand. seriously? Just stick with Great Value and get the same thing without being fooled out of your money.

Great product. Oh and only make fries with peanut oil. You can’t skimp on oil when we are talking something as serious as fries.

I was happy to find this peanut oil at Walmart as most markets in my area dont carry or only have small sizes. It was recommended for frying and i was pleased with the results – no burnt oil! Large size made it economical to use for recipes that called for a large amount for deep frying.

Only complaint- and this is about shipping and not product – is that Walmart does a poor job of packing heavy items like this. My box arrived split in half. Product undamaged.

Peanut oil is my favorite for deep frying, due to its high smoke point and it smells up my house less than vegetable oil or canola oil (which are cheaper). The store brand peanut oil here, seems to be the cheapest I can find.

And it gives my foods a clean fried taste.

I bought this for making tempura. It worked great. I accidentally took the oil to 426° fahrenheit ~ no smoke, no bad effects! The oil did not have any special scent before I cooked with it, but it gave the most incredible flavor to both the sweet potatoes and the shrimp that I cooked in it! I’ll always recommend and use LouAna peanut oil for tempura or frying! It was priced really competitively!.

If you’re not frying with peanut oil, then what the heck are you doing?! Seriously, peanut last longer, after each frying session. It withstands the heat better than any other oil. I would also say it adds to the taste of your food.

I really enjoy the aroma from Asian style peanut oil and use it as salad dressing oil. I used to buy it from 99 Ranch Supermarket. Turns out this time the oil is different. This one is more suitable for deep frying or cooking.

I googled their difference. This refined one has a neutral aroma (you almost smell nothing in it), but the cold press peanut oil or roasted peanut oil always smell very well. I guess I made the wrong choice.

But would still keep it for cooking.

our new oil came the taste is the same, the issue is, this was not full, not a measure of 3 lbs, it was barely 2 full gallons, and my guy had to rush out to the store to buy a large container of peanut oil (the single gal size) to make it work for our modest 17 lb turkey that was ready and prepped and I was just stunned that during this harsh past year, we were shorted the gal that was not a full measure of what was sold.

Am highly considering to stop buying LouAna, and that means you guys loose a loyal customer of 40 plus years. C. Graves.

I bought the Olivari brand because I happened to be in WalMart and didn’t want to make an extra stop at Aldi for my regular brand. Disappointed but I’ll use up the rest of this huge jug with no plan to buy again.

(Aldi brand is currently 1¢/oz cheaper, btw) This brand works ok in baked goods and salad dressings but it does have a stronger, almost EVOO, taste and an off putting, pale green color. No good if baking a light colored, delicate flavored cake, but ok in zucchini bread.

ZERO STARS as a frying oil! This has a VERY low smoke point and scorches easily. Do NOT use this brand as a frying oil. As comparison, my Aldi brand is clear, flavorless and can make popcorn without a hint of smoke.

I have purchased this Olivari grapeseed oil numerous times in the past and have always been highly satisfied with it. However, the most recent bottle I received (March 2022) has not measured up to the quality I had become accustomed to.

I poured approximately 1/4″ of the oil into a pan for frying but once the heat came above medium, I began to smell a highly noxious chemical/plastic smell. I promptly removed the pan from the heat, disposed of the oil, and put the pan aside.

I grabbed another (stainless, non-coated) saute pan and started over. I used a bit less oil, just enough to fully cover the bottom of the pan, and started increasing the heat. Yet again, once it heated to medium/medium-high, the chemical smell returned.

It smelled like I was literally burning plastic that had a couple wine grapes mixed into it. At that point, I had to give up on my plan to saute with Olivari grapeseed oil (as I had done in the past) because the noxious smell overwhelmed my kitchen.

I couldn’t be more disappointed. This time, I’m ordering a different brand which is 100% grapeseed oil (unlike this, which has additional ingredients).

When this arrived I noticed right away the outside surface of the bottle was dirty looking “smudged” with oil. Sure enough the seal was broken (about 1/4 of the foil seal was lifted up) under the plastic cap a small amount of oil leaked out.

I don’t think it was tampered with, the oil in the bottle is still clean clear. I had no plans to consume it (eat it) anyway. For $3 it’s not worth returning for a 1 or 2ml leak. But it does deserve 2 stars.

I ordered this Grapeseed Oil in an attempt to find a moisturizing oil that I’m not allergic to. I had an unexpected anaphylactic rxn to dylan’s candy shop coconut body butter 2 year’s ago I have never been the same.

My skin is so dry cracked because almost everything causes hives/redness/reaction so I can’t moisturize it. I have a peanut tree nut allergy, as well as multiple fruits/veggies, have had a terrible time finding a moisturizer.

The extreme dryness cracking makes my skin more susceptible to having reactions, but I can’t stop the vicious cycle if I can’t moisturize it! Logically, I know I shouldn’t be allergic to Grapeseed Oil, but after rubbing it on the back of my rt wrist/hand, my feet started to tingle, after 15 mins my neck/face were red, hot burning, as was my arm/hand.

It did absorb quickly like a “dry” oil should though, too bad it won’t work for me. It’s so unfair. 🙁 My quest continues.

I thought all veggie oils were the same until I used another brand when the store didn’t have any Crisco. The whole family had a negative comment on my pan-fried chicken strips which I make often. I did notice that they were not cooking as evenly as normal and the color was not that appetizing.

The only thing I did different that day was use a different veggie oil. Never doing that again. I will stick with Crisco no matter what.

I will not buy Crisco vegetable oil again. I contacted them 2 months ago about some bad tasting oil I had bought. They never got back to me. I contacted them 2 more times to finally be told that they had tested the batch number and they said the batch was fine and that I will not get a refund.

They refused to take back the bottle I bought and test it. I am not impressed with their customer service and their lack of responsibility for the quality of their product.

Took several weeks to get this But it came before I ran out. I just wish I could still get more things from shipping cause it saves lives still keeps jobs going and is less risk than going out to stores.

People like me that are high risk even my daughter who is high risk due to terminal illness. Has to take the chance and go out to stores to get what doesn’t ship. And then she comes in cleans everything she brings in and herself cause to protect me and her husband who has M S so we all are high risk.

She’s our private nurse, maid, and survival coach, and prayer coach I think these people are like our medical workers and should be rewarded. Cause she has been even doing what all she can go protect herself to protect us and to protect others.

I thought I was getting a 48 ounce bottle. I got a 24 ounce instead. For what I paid at one time of the day that would have bought 48 ounce. I guess cooking oil is like gasoline for a car. Both skyrocketing in price.

I purchased this size for easy storage. The bottle neck makes holding the bottle easier. Canola oil has a clean flavor. This oil is priced well as well.

I will be buy this cooking oil. Thi cooking oil it has more taster and it’s more healthier. I was raised with soul food if,I knw I mean. As older I started to having health problems. Most my parents had high blood pressure so on.

So It comes frm my genes. But I think I didn’t take care of health when I was young plus been a mom as well. So I can’t put no point finger but me. Now I just knw it time to change my cooking style. i hate go c a doc period especially my doc she keeped tell me my chorcole is high and every pregnants I had I was high risk.

I had to change my cooking period. I absolutely love I did especially use this cooking oil it just taste more flavour and it taste delicious in my tummy.

Like another reviewer commented, about 82% of avocado oils tested were either rancid or cut with other cheaper oil. I have been buying this avocado oil for years now. The last 2 times I had to return the oil because it was dark orange in color and RANCID.

I had a “good” bottle that was the usual light in color and taste. I am hoping and praying that this oil IS actually real avocado oil and not soybean oil. We are trying to consume healthy oils and I would be really disappointed if this is not real avocado oil.

I’m not on the olive oil love train that most cooks swear by. I detest the flavor olive oil imparts, but enjoy olives. This is a great alternative to e. v. o. o. This delicious avocado oil has a pleasant, but faint buttery flavor.

High smoke point allows me to use this oil for everything from baking to shallow frying to oiling my bbq grill grates. (I even use it to make avo-canna oil!) The price combined with versatility and quality make this oil an easy choice for me.

I usually keep 3-4 bottle in the pantry.

In 2020, UC Davis, famous for blowing the lid off of the fake olive oil industry, tested Avocado oils. Shockingly, they found that 82% of their samples where either rancid far before the expiration date, cut with cheaper oils, and in the case of 3 samples, outright fake (pure soybean oil).

Due to that study, I only trust two brands. Sadly this is not one of them.
