I have 2 of these that are , no kidding , 20+ years old. They don’t stick together! All the other’s Knight and Hale , Mad , Flextone , on and on don’t and won’t last more than 1 year. You can soak them wash them dry them and keep them in the fridge and they still stick.
If you want to quit buying calls every year , get a couple of these. A Deadly Double and a True Double are all you need! And. most important , they sound like a turkey! All the turkey sounds!.
I own and carry a great deal of calls when I turkey hunt, box, slate, and mouth calls. The deadly double was recommended to me by a good friend and very successful turkey hunter. This call is my go to call, has 6 beards to its credit and I won’t go to the woods without it.

When I recieved this, I was kinda happy that i was gonna start learning to use mouthcalls for the first time. Now when I put the “CD” in the dvd player expecting it to be either a DVD or a VCD, all it really was is an audio CD explaining how to use it.
Now I aint sayin I am not happy cause regardless I still learned how to use this thing, just wish it was visual. Anyways I have been practicing for over 2 weeks now and, quite frankly since I cant get an exchange on the item cause of sanitary reasons, the small mouthcall in the package ripped on the edge after practicing for a while with it.
The other 2 are still goin strong with no tears into them just yet. But I am happy with the product, I’ll order the small one as soon as I can, but I know I can do the same call I do on the smaller one on the other 2 with little to no effort.
Also the funny thing is when I started to practice with these calls, I thought I ordered the wrong one cause I was sounding like a turkey at first, but when I listen to the CD all the way thru, I realized I was doing it differently.
Great Audio CD, especially the music at the end, great product, only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause I was expecting a visual video to give a visual aspect of how to use this.
Dont buy these!!! Primos are junk. I could barely do a cow call with 2 of the 3. Nothing beats the Elk 101 calls!!! I can sound just like a real cow or bull. However, I do have a nice call case now
I purchased this hoping it would teach me how to use diaphragm calls. Having never done so I thought this would be a perfect choice since it came with an instructional cd. I was disappointed! You might as well throw the cd out the window and don’t even bother.
or you can use it as coaster. I found it very difficult to learn from only “listening” to the cd and not being able to “see” how to correctly use a diaphragm call. I learn more from watching and doing as apposed to just listening and not being able to see how to correctly do something.
I had someone show me how to use these after hours of practice, failure, and frustration! I found it to be very easy to use after he showed me how and where to place it in my mouth and where to place my tongue.
However, I have a small mouth so the only reed that worked for me in the pack is the blue one. If I were to do it all over I would rather buy a couple different reeds from different companies and different sizes to see which one fits and feels comfortable in your mouth.
Then ask someone in the store who knows how to use them to show you. You will be much better off that way then buying this kit with the worthless instructional cd.

I bought these based on some of the reviews and also the popularity and success of the parties involved. While they do have great sounds from them and are comfortable in the mouth, I found that they don’t last very long.
For someone who like to always have a call handy to practise while driving the truck or to just mess with a few turkeys crossing the field, the diaphragm has stretched alot quicker than some of the other brands I’ve used.
I’m giving this a three star review because the tones produced are great but the durability of the call is a little delicate for my liking.
I’ve only been using mouth calls for about two years and I am by no means an expert. These calls produce a nice raspy hen sound with little effort. Fit and finish seem top notch. I’ve had other diaphragm calls that need to be sopping wet to make them pliable for a good fit.
These calls are nice and flexible the instant you put it in your mouth.

The call makes fantastic clucks but the yelps and purrs produced are not very good quality unless you really hammer on it. Matt is one of my favorite hunters and the man is an expert so I jumped on this call, but in the end, the call is no longer in my turkey vest.
