20 Best Turkey Red Dots (2022 Updated)

5 star for OUTSTANDING product Quality. 1 star for Walmart packaging! Terrible job. No one is supervising the packaging process! POSITIVES: GREAT Chicken! Tasty out of the can, mixed in sandwich salads and last minute casseroles! Cheapest price always found on Walmart! NEGATIVES: Its the same story over and over regarding this chicken.

When you order the chicken, figure at least 3 or 4 out of a 12 pack ordered, will be badly dented. The box arrives half destroyed because there in no intelligent cushioning to prevent the cans from slamming around in the oversized box.

This is routine. I’m always left with a stack of cans that are damaged too badly to be considered shelf life stable. POSITIVES: Even if only 6 of the 12 cans arrive satisfactorily the price per can is still cheaper than other suppliers.

Plan on a cost of $13. 00/can aggregate. NEGATIVES: All 12 of my cans arrived with some damage. Here is a picture of the 4 which I cannot consider useable for long term storage due to can seam damage.

This is a constant complaint from Walmart customers. Apparently Walmart doesn’t read reviews – BUT YOU SHOULD! You know, I get hundreds of packages from Walmart – and this is the ONLY product they cannot figure out how to pack – and my only complaint regarding packaging.

Decided to give this brand a try a while back after watching their fascinating “how it’s made” video. Well. This really is a great tasting chicken. Not spiced up – just a great natural taste. We used it in a lunch chicken salad and then in a pasta dinner dish.

VERY SATISFIED!. Sadly the packing/shipping was hit or miss. Ordered many cans this year that were well packed and secured. But unfortunately some of the cans were delivered deeply dented way beyond USDA food safety standards.

Couldn’t tell if the dented-can damage was pre-existing off the shelf or happened because cans were tossed into their shipping boxes with little cushioning and then slammed around during transport. Whatever the cause it was VERY frustrating.

And especially if you’re prepping, deeply dented cans are never acceptable for long term storage. Luckily Walmart helped make it right EVERY time. Thanks Walmart! and thanks Keystone for a delicious cooked chicken product! Will DEFINITELY order again.

Five stars for the product, but nearly 0 stars (if that were possible) for shipping issues. Though I suppose it should get a bonus 3 stars just for shipping out here at all! This chicken has been a lifesaver for us out here in the middle of nowhere.

That is, when the cans do not come dented like they were “Hulk-Smashed”. Sometimes it appears the packer has taken the time to wrap them and package them thoughtfully, but we’ve had to return them for exchanges (or refunds when sold out) across all the Keystone meat products we’ve ordered.

That being said, out of the dozens upon dozens upon dozens (I really have lost track) of cans we’ve ordered, were not crazy dented (or dented at all), and went to use, only one had an issue with the actual product (and that was taken care of promptly by Walmart).

You can use this chicken for so many things. Roast it back up in its juices. Fry up in a pan. Make chicken salad. Crisp it up and put on salad. Meat pies. Top a salad. Whatever! Great to have around.

(Really, depending on how you prepare it, it does NOT taste like chicken from a can. Generally we tend to forget. ).

While I have not yet become a customer of this site. I have tasted this product from my MD’s office. My very favorite flavor is Teriyaki, which is not offered here, but hopefully will be in the near future.

These sticks are a great alternative to snaking on empty calorie/beneficial snacks. They have a high protein content which helps keep me on track and adds to my total daily protein count. Shhh! Don’t tell me MD.

LOL. But really I will travel to the MD’s office just to pick these up. The price is compatible to the MD’s office. GNC prices them at about $2. 50 a stick which is the only place I can get them when the MD is closed.

I’ve also tried Buffalo Wing and Applewood. Didn’t like them so much but that is probably a personal thing. Please give this product a try. I’m sure you will LOVE them as I do! #realreview.

I loved the pepper flavor meat sticks I got last time but the sweet and spicy, I was not a fan of. They are still pretty filling like the others but the flavor was just not appetizing for me. Hopefully you guys replenish the pepper flavor so I can get those again!.

Got the Applewood Turkey, not salty, better than slim jim’s, very filling. Only down side is they are very dry. Eating these alone – you have to chew a lot. However, I cut one up in my salad and barely noticed the dryness.

This is not illuminated with little chance you’ll be able to see the screen display adequately in low light. If you want an illuminated rangefinder, look for one that has a red OLED or similar illuminating feature.

I’ve seen a review stating that this works through glass – it does not. This is a very basic rangefinder that has two settings – one for archery, which includes angular detection to calculate the true horizontal distance needed for estimating drop.

The other is the firearm setting – assuming you are using a high power rifle and not needing to calculate drop. This is a very inexpensive rangefinder, and probably ok for daylight use; however, I don’t recommend it for low light conditions (dawn and dusk).

Great product. Works as advertised. Only con for me is the yardage display is very small. Awesome for the money.

I just purchased this weeks ago and I dont know why I went all these years without it. Its so accurate. I use it in the woods and range things around me like trees stumps so when that deer appears I know the distance.

I have been shooting the Bullhead for 5 years now and will never look back. Listen, if you’ve never tried them, you need to. Head shots sound like they are for the more experienced bow hunter but I’m here to tell you, they are not! In my opinion, headshots with the Bullhead will actually be an easier shot because if you have shot a regular broadheads at a turkey and either had to chase him down or didn’t end up finding him at all, it’s because the kill zone is not much bigger than the head and neck area.

And when your heart is pumping with him in full strut in the decoys, it’s tough to tell exactly where to aim! With a big ole red white and blue head to focus your aim on, that part takes care of itself.

Don’t be intimidated by the term headshot cause it will increase not only your kills, but also your tracking are owed birds because it’s just like the box says DEAD ON CONTACT!!! And the bullhead alone has the best design on the market: One peice design, not a million parts to put together.

No straws needed for true flight. And if that isn’t enough, two words, LIFETIME WARRANTY! I mean really you only need to buy one pack for yourself and whether you bend the blades on a kill, or blow up the whole broadhead on a rock because you missed, Magnus will replace them! Speaking of misses, that’s another benefit.

In my experience, if you miss a headshot, chances are you can get another shot off. Just do yourself a favor and try them out!!.

Definitely a worthwhile product for the conscious hunter. With these broadheads you either get a clean harvest or the bird walks away. The large surface area means it will bounce off the dense feathered body, miss clean, or get a decap/bleedout.

They do take a while to dial in on a compound bow, and you need to fashion some kind of target as they will just get bent if you fire them into a speedbag or layered target. To carry them in your quiver you also need the Magnus attachment, which is not included.

However, it is a good investment if you fill your tags every year.

Picked these up a week ago. Broadhead seems to be well built and they spun pretty true after a bit of tweaking. The only complaint so far is that they are really not sharp at all. I will need to spend an hour or so sharpening these blades to get them in shape for taking a bird.

Will update the review once I get through MI Turkey season and I get a few chances on a Tom.

I purchased these decoys prior to a hunt in Kahoka, Missouri with my son and friends. My son and I set up the first morning and he called in two Tom’s that came directly to the decoys. One of the Tom’s actually bumped the decoy.

We pulled the trigger so close together that we only heard one shot and got two Tom’s. This was an amazing hunt to experience my first Turkey hunt with my son and to be able to get Turkeys over the decoys the first morning.

The decoys did a great job!.

Picked these up during the holidays for a great price! Looking forward to getting them out there for Spring Turkey Season 2022. Decoys looked great and it was exactly what I ordered. I was able to form them back into shape with ease with no issues.

Will follow up once I get a couple of hunts in with them!.

I bought two Photoform decoys for their packability and realism. Primos advertises that they pop right back into shape – which is total nonsense. Worst decoys I’ve ever purchased.

If you love to cook and particularly bake you know how important the right temp is. What you probably don’t know is how bad your oven is at providing that “just right” temp. Even high end ranges with convection have wildly inaccurate sensors.

But with Dot and a little patience I can quickly adjust my oven “temp” to get the real temp. If I’m baking bread in an oven that calls for 500 F and my “real” temp according to Dot is 450 F I can just set my oven for 550 and the Dot tells me the “real” temp is now 500.

Also have the meat probe for my reverse searing steaks. Spot on (Dot on?) accuracy. Small investment with big rewards. Love it.

This is not my first and nor will it be my last thermometer from Thermoworks. I got a dot and the appropriate oven probe to keep track of the oven temperature. We have an old oven that is a little iffy in the setting department, but once we hit the right temperature it holds it great.

I have the dot attached to the back of the stove with the probe in the oven. The large display is easily seen and allows me to adjust the temperature of the oven accordingly. I can set the alarm to let me know when it has pre-heated to the proper temp.

I could probably swap out the air probe for the meat probe when cooking, haven’t tried that yet.

First off I would like people to know I’m a size 8! I love crocs but this is an unbiased review. Theses crocs are amazing and feel exactly like crocs and how they should feel and look. But sizing differences makes it hard to shop on any croc seller, I’m a size 8 but I’m store a size 8 didn’t fit but online I got a 9 and it was a little too big.

So I definitely recommend you buying your size and return it if not. But if theses crocs are too small for you wear them a little because crocs stretch after a while. With that out of the way, tie dye crocs have records of peeling do to the process done to make them tie dye (it’s not made into the material unlike marble or regular colors) and these have the most records of peeling so get them on clearance! And I definitely see signs of peeling on mine but not bad or noticeable, I’m guessing a sealant would help though never tried.

But these have bold colors and are true to size and look and feel like crocs I have another pair of tie dye ones (size 9 fits like a 8) and they are great and I got it in the store but are small so I had to size up to a 9, whereas these are big for a 9 so keep that in mind.

So PROS: great color and feel and true to size. CONS: store sizing and online are different and peel a bit. Have a great day and Jesus loves you <3.

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2013. As a result of this non-curable autoimmune disease, the bones in my feet, and toes have deteriorated tremendously. I also have a degenerative disc disorder in my lower back that requires injections every few months.

I was introduced to crocs by my son, in Georgia. He recently retired from the Army after 20 years of service. Due to issues my son had with his feet from his time in the Army, he started wearing the crocs.

He took me out to the mall, and I got my first pair of crocs in the color black. Since I have been wearing the crocs, I am able to walk without as much pain in my feet and lower back. I have hard wood floors in my home, and they are hard on my joints.

I realized how comfortable they were walking around the house. I decided these were my new shoes, and bought 4 more pair of the crocs in different colors. It has been a game changer for me. I never thought a pair of shoes could make such a difference.

They have allowed me to be more active than I was prior to wearing the crocs. Thanks to the makers of crocs. Thanks to my son. Salute to all the veterans this coming veteran’s day. Thank you, Mrs. Beauchaine.

They are like a cloud. A glorious, cushiony, comfy cloud. I know what you’re thinking, they’re Crocs. They’re clunky. They’re foam. I get it. I too refused them for years, for all of the aforementioned reasons.

And then I tried a pair on and was forced to admit they were comfy and convenient. And cute; in their own weird way. The lined clogs are so comfy and cozy and can be worn with or without socks, they’re great either way.

I love the light blue ones, a little hint of colour without being too bold or flashy. If you still can’t wrap your head around wearing foam clogs, do a little test. Get a pair and give them a try with the condition that you’ll only wear them at home.

Either you’ll wear them only at home and they’ll end up becoming your go-to comfy house shoes (because they will) or eventually you’ll wear them out once, then again, then another time and suddenly you’ll find yourself converted.

Exceeded my expectations. I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m ecstatic about this purchase. I bought it on Monday. It arrived on Thursday and I took them out on Friday with instant results. I hunt the mountains in Colorado and the turkeys are very difficult to coax in.

The pros for me are: light weight for hiking in and up the mountains a few miles. The coloration is excellent and fooled a cautious Tom. After unboxing, they were quickly able to take true form. They come with excellent stakes that have a wing nut for securing the decoys.

I propped them on the stakes without as the wind added lifelike movement. If you run and gun or pack in miles to find a bird this set of three light weight decoys is for you. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with this purchase.

Great value that gets results.

I bought these to replace the Feather Flex decoys I have used for years. They are more realistic (in both paint and posture) and cost no more that my old decoys did a decade ago. As with all foam decoys, a couple of minutes with a hair drier removes any creases, and they will keep their shape if stored fully expanded.

I prefer using Hunter’s Specialties collapsible stakes for a quicker setup. To keep them from blowing away in a strong wind, I drilled a small hole through the tip of the HS stakes. Inserting a short length of wire or a small hitch pin through the hole secures the decoy as well as the wingnut does on the metal stakes that come with these decoys.

For anyone who likes the light weight and portability of foam decoys, these are a really great deal.

I bought these decoys several years ago and they have got me a turkey each spring. As identified by other reviewers, a hair drier will help with the shape each spring. I have used them with all three as a set up but have been more successful with just the two hens set up.

They are really light, so sometimes you have to tighten the wing nut up or they will really sway in the breeze; leaving the nut really loose adds realism as the decoys will bob a little. They are very easy to set up in the field and take down is pretty simple.

This version with oats is a lot better than potato-laden grain-free version The Honest Kitchen sells. I do a 50/50 split by volume (it’s like a 25/75 split by calories) between this and Ziwi Peak Chicken.

My dog’s poops are great but a bit more frequent due to the veggies (my vet said this is normal and not to be worried about unless the frequency on a day to day basis varies a lot), and his energy is boundless.

The only downside is that they cheap out on a couple of ingredients, namely Selenium Sodium instead of Selenium Yeast. My puppy did not do well on the grain free version of this – they substitute oats for white potatoes and the order of ingredients is a bit different, too.

If your puppy does have a grain allergy, I would highly advise against the grain free version of this. Similarly, if your puppy does not have a grain allergy, put them on the grain inclusive version of this or look elsewhere.

The only other food I would consider for my dog is Open Farm – they use the yeast form of selenium, too! Only downside with Open Farm is that they use meat meal, but it’s Open Farm so this is likely a healthy and humanely sourced version of meat meal.

Open Farm, Ziwi, and The Honest Kitchen all have great options IMO. Much better than the Dr. Hill, Purina, Kirkland, etc. junk food most people feed their dogs.

I have a picky eater. I’ve tried almost every healthy, high-quality, small breed dog food there is! I’ve found very few to her taste! This is the ONLY dry food that’s small enough & soft enough for my 4lb Maltese to actually be able to eat! Even so, she likes to bring me a few pieces to break into half or quarters for her! LOL! I really wish they’d offer a Toy Breed Blend that’s just this exact same formula, but with pieces that are only a quarter of the size! I give her a dish of this and another of the FreshPet Small Dog Bite-Size twice a day, with plenty of fresh water.

She never just eats all of her food at once, so she needs a dry food to be able to graze on day and night. Also, we live in hurricane country — so a healthy dry food in a small, durable, resealable bag that lasts her a good long while is absolutely essential for evacuations! This fits the bill perfectly – and it’s affordable! TL;DR – The ONLY dry food suitable for a tiny 4lb Maltese! Others are too big, too hard, cause tummy trouble, etc!.

My 2-year-old Lab was diagnosed with liver damage due to toxic ingestion (something he ate). The first indication of a problem was lack of appetite. Correcting this problem is a long process but is working.

He is still being treated but between the liver damage and medications his appetite is less than half of what it should be. While I’m freaking out trying all different things trying to get him to eat (which probably was not helping his stomach) nothing was working.

Long story short I came across The Honest Kitchen and decided to give it a try. My dog took to it immediately (same day turning his nose up at his old food). I mix the dehydrated and the clusters (chicken flavor).

I’m still early in trying this only 1 week, but he is eating and eating full meals twice a day. So I’m hopeful.

This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions expressed are my own. I’m reviewing the product of Oscar Meyer called Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh Honey Uncured Ham. First off the product is packaged in an appealing see through plastic container which is nice.

I like to be able to see what my food i. e lunch meat looks like before purchasing it. Now as for opening the product, there is one corner on the plastic container that is slightly larger than the other three.

This is where you pull open the package from. The package opens fairly easy. I could see it being a little hard for certain people who may have arthritis or something like that. I also notice that when closing the lid it doesn’t seal back up which is a problem in my opinion.

This container won’t keep your lunch meat fresh for long in this packaging. I also took notice to the smell. I know lunch meat isn’t the best smelling thing to begin with but the smell of this lunch meat is really unappealing.

My kids who were in the same room even said the smell was unpleasant. Now for the important part, the taste! My children and I tasted our new delifresh honey ham on it’s own and in a sandwich. We all agreed that the honey flavor tasted great on the ham.

It wasn’t too sweet like honey it has just the right amount. Nutrition wise Oscar Meyer’s Delifresh ham is a pretty healthy option for protein. 2ounces alone is only 70 calories. It’s also made with No Artificial Preservatives, No added hormones, and No nitrates or nitrites added! I definitely this that this is a great product for the whole family as a meal or snack.

I look forward to trying other Oscar Meyer delifresh meats in the future!.

Saturdays are my lazy days. If I can help it, I don’t do much cooking. However, I still like to have delicious meals. Today, we had a delicious lunch that included sandwiches made with Oscar Mayer DeliFresh Smoked Turkey Breast and Claussen Kosher Dill Pickle Sandwich Slices.

Lunch was a hit with my family! I made our sandwiches with honey wheat bread, smoked turnkey, fresh leafy green lettuce, tomatoes, honey dijon mustard, and pickles. We were very pleased with the smoked flavor of the turkey and it was sliced perfectly for sandwiches.

And, I can’t leave out the crunchy, flavorful pickle slices! What a great addition to the sandwich! I added a side of chips and fresh fruit to complete a dish that the whole family enjoyed. Oscar Mayer and Claussen helped me create a lunch that was perfect for our lazy Saturday afternoon.

My Mother never bought Oscar Mayer for me as a child. I come from a long line of Penny Pinchers who believed lunch-meat was lunch-meat. I carried this mantra into adulthood and never really liked lunch-meat because it just wasn’t quite good.

I see now after doing an #incentivized campaign for @influenster. eats and really seeing what 20-40 cents more a package tastes like, I’m hooked. The Deli Fresh line by Oscar Mayer is just one of many lines.

the Base line, where you can still buy your old favorites from youth, the Deli Fresh line, where I got my Smoked Turkey and got an Atta Girl from my boyfriend, the Deli Selects line and up and up! Gourmet seriously.

Since starting the Oscar Mayer campaign challenge (thank you Influenster for the opportunity to try this product complimentary), by far the DeliFresh Cracked Black Pepper Turkey Breast has been my favorite of the bunch! For this reason, it’s also been the most difficult to photograph because I just can’t wait to enjoy the delicious meals it can create! It’s not just me, by beloved feline friend Rupert always shows up to lend some help whenever the cracked black pepper turkey arrives on the table.

❤️😻 I’ve been buying the Oscar Mayer turkey breast with my weekly grocery shopping now and have been enjoying it for breakfast on days when I go in to work. I normally make a simple tortilla wrap but Today I had more time so I dolled it up with some romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese, avocado slices, and toasted the tortilla on the oven.

The black pepper lends just the right amount of spice. It was devine. I highly recommend and will continue to purchase this deli meat from Oscar Mayer.

I tried the honey smoked deli Turkey. I also shared some with my wife and 7 year old son. My kid liked it because it’s sweet. First, I like the presentation. The folded sheets layered on top of each other are aesthetically pleasing and make it easy to grab.

The color contrast of the caramel tinted ring against the peachy center of the slices leaves me strangely aroused, as does the product’s name. The flavors of honey and salt were balanced well with the usual flavor of processed turkey flesh.

The smokey taste is barely detectible, so I couldn’t guess what sort of wood was used to smoke the meat. I can tell from the texture that it there are not obvious muscle strands in the meat. I was happy to find that it wasn’t dry and nasty the way I remember some sliced turkey products.

This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. Upon purchasing the Oscar Mayer Oven Roasted White Turkey, I took the product home and sampled it as a sandwich. I also tasted it alone to get the full flavor of the meat.

Upon tasting the meat itself, my first though was it had a slightly sweet taste. You could taste the oven roasted as a secondary taste upon further chewing it. Neither was over powering but balanced and very pleasing.

Nutritionally speaking it was only 30 Cal. a piece and had 3gm of protein. For me this was great as you got a good tasting meat that was low in calories. Those of us watching our weight, I could see it being redly used on a salad to increase your protein intake with very little calorie content added.

If you wanted to eat it as a sandwich it would provide protein with little calories if you watch out and not over indulge in using fatty condiments. For me the overall taste was satisfying and I could see not over indulging in condiments to cover an already tasty and delightful meat.

My overall impression was positive in both taste, nutrition and calories in proportion to the size. Honestly, one piece of this meat wouldn’t be sufficient for myself. I would use 2 or 3 piece for a sandwich.

The end results would still be positive, compared to a hamburger you would buy at a chain restraunt. The cost of the whole package of meat was also very economical and about half the price of one meal you would buy at a fast food restraunt.

I have purchased this many times. Oscar Mayer is a trusted brand I grew up with. While I have bought several of their other meats I prefer the turkey because it’s a healthier choice. It taste great whether in a sandwich or on a veggie tray.

My family and I love eating Oscar Mayer cold cuts. We purchase them frequently when grocery shopping.

I cut these up into smaller sizes and put on saltine crackers with some cheddar cheese to top them off. Great little afternoon snack. The turkey meat is soft and has a light flavor, it pairs well with a cheese that has a bit of a sharper taste.

It’s not too salty as well, so the crackers provide more of that. The meat is good quality and you can tell from its texture. Only two minor issues I had with it: first, it says re-closeable seal, but the yellow cover goes back on pretty loosely and second, it says white turkey but the color of the meat is more similar to pink like ham.

This turkey was perfection! I’m an experienced cook, but haven’t cooked a turkey in many years. I literally didn’t have to do ANYTHING special to make this turkey delicious. I didn’t brine it. I took it out of the plastic, removed the plastic ring around the legs.

I added salt, a high quality dried poultry seasoning, fresh rosemary, butter, and a lemon cut in half, to the cavity. I salted and used poultry seasoning on the outside. I put butter in all of the crevices and rubbed some of that on the outside too.

I then trussed it up. I read that using an old fashioned enameled roasting pan was best, and for sure, I found that it was. I made a foil ribbon for the bottom of the pan that cushioned the turkey. I cooked 2/3 time with lid on and the remainder, lid off.

I didn’t baste it or add anything else. We had a 12lb turkey for four people. It was the right amount for us for Thanksgiving and for leftover turkey soup. It was literally perfect! It did not taste wild (which would have been fine with me too).

It tasted like turkey – but “turk-ier. ” It was tender and juicy. I will surely buy again.

We considered ouselves connoisseurs when it came to fresh turkeys. We have been brining fresh turkeys for special occasions for years, and brining wild turkeys for the past 3-4years. This Thanksgiving we decided to try a Heritage Turkey from D’artagnan.

We were a little disappointed when it arrived as it was smallish at 10. 4 pounds. However, our disappointment vanished when we tasted the finished product. We brined the turkey in apple juice and maple syrup and smoked it over apple and maple wood.

The flavor was outstanding with both the white and dark meat very moist and the flavors very rich and intense. We now prefer the taste of the Heritage Turkey to that of a wild turkey. It is said that “A luxury once tasted, becomes a necessity”.

Such is the case with the Heritage Turkey. We now have a new family tradition.

Well, I messed up this year and ordered this bird instead of a wild turkey. Though, I think the wild was not available, and I assumed this was the wild bird. whatever. This just does not compare to the wild turkey.

It is decent, don’t get me wrong, but for me, I prefer the wild. This, however, has massive amounts of meat. I was rather shocked at the price, and I’m kicking myself for not screwing up with the organic one instead 😀 So, most people would be pleased with this bird.

It fried well and had a nice amount of meat. Delivery was disgraceful, and I was not pleased with my response after spending so much money.

First off this is a great turkey choke for beretta /benelli shotguns. People are saying they will not fit there shot guns. Just do some research before you nock this product and you will find out primos does make the choke in the optima and the Mobil choke tubes and yes beretta uses both of these tubes in different shotguns and that is why they work in some and not the others I think Cabela’s is offering the Mobil choke tube model and they should put In description so it would be less confusing.

I am not sure if they just carry the Mobil or if they can get the optima choke tube as well. It’s always best to call if your not sure about which tube to buy. I do know that they do make both models for the beretta / benelli shotguns.

And they do work great in them. I have pattern my beretta with 4 different types of turkey shotgun loads in 5 shot and all my shells shot awesome patterns with the jelly head choke tube. I can even shoot a good pattern at 50 yards which is way more than enough range to kill a turkey! So my suggestion if you want a good turkey choke this is it and also do a little research and find the one that works with your shotgun thanks.

I’ve used this choke for over two years and I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. It holds a tight pattern at long distances and will still demolish a gobbler as if it is at close range. It works well with the Winchester longbeard xr’s which is my main ammo of choice.

That being said, just because it works well for me doesn’t mean it will work the same with other applications. As well as different ammo preferences. The targets pictured are from this year 3-14-2020 at 50 yards.

I have killed turkey with this setup out to 80 yards.

I read some reviews about this choke and wanted to try it. Being that turkey season was in full swing, they were a little hard to find ” on the shelf “. Searching on line, I found a store in my general area that had some in stock the model indicated ” beretta/bennelli”.

After I picked up the choke, I discovered that it would not fit my Beretta extreme II. Now if a guy owns a few different Beretta’s, he might know the difference. I only own the extreme II, and as my x-wife would say ; ” I’m not always a deep thinker ” so did not realize that different models required different chokes.

Like I said, the choke was identified as ” beretta/bennelli “. I did manage to return the choke to the store for a refund. I contacted Primos by email to explain the problem, I also explained that I had wasted 3 hours of my time going to pick up the wrong choke.

I suggested that they should correct their labelling or have their distributors specify which guns their choke will fit. ” Bubba ” from Primos replied, ” yeah we have chokes for the extreme II “. That was it, no ” sorry that you wasted 3 hours of your time.

“. No ” thanks for the suggestion and we’ll look into the problem. ” or anything. My follow up email was a bit more “direct but polite “. It remains unanswered. I realize that Primos has a lot of products on the market.

Seeing their lack of follow up, I’ll be a bit more cautious before trying their other products. Is the ” JellyHead ” a good choke ?. I don’t know, I never got a chance to try it. Now I’m not sure that I’ll bother ordering one for my extreme II.

I was glad to see this product available at my local Target. It has simpler ingredients, but unfortunately it’s completely over salted. I love salt and cured meats, but not impressed since this product is single note (only flavor was salt).

This turkey pretty much blew my head off. I’m typically not sensitive to reading the nutrition label on a product like this. I do look at ingredients and trust a product based on them especially when it seems to be a niche item geared towards individuals looking for “healthy-ish” and quality.

8 ounce package “serves 4”, but in reality even on a fairly small thin slice wheat bread 1/3-1/2 package is a more realistic serving. 2 oz meat rings in at 510 mg sodium and 4 oz (1/2 package) 1020 mg!!!! I won’t purchase this again.

Other brands have similar sodium or much lower content but more flavor as opposed to leaning totally on salt to make it tasty.

Oscar Meyer Natural Turkey is absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice packaged deli meat. The preservatives used are natural ones (sea salt, celery juice) and no antibiotics were used on the turkey.

I’m trying to cut down on additives in my food so I really appreciate what Oscar Meyer’s done with this turkey. It’s thinly sliced and easy to portion out for lunches or as a quick bite. It’s flavorful without being too salty.

The price is appropriate for a familiy-sized pack; I don’t know how long 14 oz would last a family though. I like to eat it with an egg and bagel for breakfast but it also holds up well with a decent cheese as part of a turkey melt.

I have concurred that Oscar Mayer Slow Roasted Turkey Breast is an excellent sandwich meat. It is relatively thin-sliced, has a nice and full flavor, and makes any sandwich great on its own. In fact, I would snack on this sandwich meat by itself.

I have bought this turkey from here well over 2 years and it is great, but the recent removal of the hard cover top and its soft (non)resealable top has lead to me throwing away one third of meat due to spoilage in less than 1 week because the seal puckers and is nowhere near airtight.

I’m being forced to abandon its purchase since it’s pointless to be forced to remove meat from the container to place it in something airtight.

The turkey breast has a nice fresh flavor. The one annoying factor is that sometimes it’s wet. It would be nice if they could come up with something to absorb the excess moisture that leeches off of this.

I have found this with other stores too- this is not store specific.

I was a frequent buyer of this product for my business (a case/week) and in the last few weeks the product has changed, and not for the better. It is FAR lower quality than before, in flavor and texture (yet the price has remained the same).

It is also sweet-though labeled “oven roasted”. It sticks to my grill leaving a terrible mess where the turkey from a few weeks ago left no sticky residue. Do NOT pay this price for a low end compressed loaf turkey product.

It is NOT worth it.

I have owned this choke tube in 12 gauge for my Remington 870. I have hunted with this for 12 years or so, and it patterns very well for a “budget” choke tube. I have had the opportunity for 6 shots in those 12 years, and it has meant the demise of 6 gobblers.

They have dropped right where I shot them on all six. The ranges have varied from 25 yards all the way out to 60 yards. I have shot several different brands of ammo; I am not picky and neither is this choke tube.

I have killed birds with three different ammo types (Remington Nitro Turkey in #4, Winchester Double X in #5, and Hevi-Shot #4, all 3″). I am planning on purchasing a 20 gauge for my wife to turkey hunt with, and this choke will be on it.

Could not get an even pattern with factory x full non ported choke in my mossberg 835 24 in Turkey barrel, shot rem. nitro, federal,Winchester double x , best pattern was 83 in a 10in. cir. 14 in the vitals from 3in.

Num. 5 Winchester double x at measured 30 yards. With the tight wad same shell and range 96 in a 10in. cir and 27 in the vitals and a real even spread, even the federals which were really bad with factory choke put 93 in a 10in.

cir. And 19 in the vitals. The tight wad was the only choke I could find where I live, didn’t think it was going to make much of a difference but it even’d out the spread and doubled number in the vitals, very happy with the results.

These are the best choke on the market, especially if you use LongBeard XR shells!!! I have a Tight Wad choke for: a 12 ga Remington 870, a 12 ga Stoeger m3500, and a 20 ga Remington 870 youth. Both 12s are putting about 200 pellets in a 10 circle at 45 yards (LBXR 3.

5 #5). The 20 ga puts 170ish in the same circle at 35 yards (LBXR 3 #6). Ive included pictures of all 3 shotguns patterns. For $15-$20 you cant beat this choke! Ive been telling everyone to get one.
