Excellent coffee! I used to drink a lot of Mediterranean coffee with cardamon in grad school, and it;s refreshing to have found this! I think the quality if this is better than other cardamon coffees I’ve drank! God bless, Trevor.

The store shows a twin bags and they send you a one and when I return it they deducted five dollars from my money. I do not recommend buy this coffee from this store.

Mehmet Efendi makes THE best Turkish/Arabic coffee that our Yankee dollars can buy. Anywhere. Period. Do yourself a favor though and shop around here on eBay. You’ll be very surprised at the huge range of prices you’ll find for exactly the same amount of the same product.

Be sure and double check the amount of ounces your getting in the packaging you’ve chosen and do not forget to check on the (sometimes hidden) shipping charges. Be sure and check on the country of origin as you can wind up waiting over a month to receive this outstanding brew if it’s coming from Turkey, it’s country of origin.

Sometimes it’s a bargain if you can wait but there are plenty of fine domestic importers that have done all of that waiting for you already. Oh, and their logo! It’s the BEST! I went online to the Mehmet Efendi website in Turkey but they don’t offer any merch.

They’re missing out on an ENORMOUS opportunity to cash in on t-shirts, coffee mugs tea towels etc. js.

I was so excited to find this coffee on ebay. My wife and I were in Istanbul in Nov and our airbnb host, Mr. Olgun Ozturk, told us to go to the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Bazaar) in the Eminounu section of town and buy Kurukahveci Mehmet Effendi Turkish coffee.

He said it is the best in Turkey. We grew to love Turkish coffee while we were there and bought a cezve for making it the authentic way. The coffee we bought was exactly this coffee! Then when we got home we ran out quickly and I despaired to finding the true stuff.

But there it is, on ebay. Really great. The value is the best I could find on the internet. Every other vendor is more expensive for this same can of coffee and with shipping the price is outrageous.

But on ebay, the shipping is included and the price is right. And this is the right stuff. If you want to taste what real Turkish coffee taste like get this coffee. Also, learn to make it the Turkish way-you have to buy a cezve, the little long handled pot.

(Get one that is fairly thick metal, copper with tin lining or stainless steel. The thin metal ones will not heat evenly. ) Instructions in English and Turkish are written on the can label. Enjoy. It’s a taste of Istanbul!.

Mehmet Efendi, I love you. I’m not a big fan of Turkish Coffee, I actually use Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee in my espresso machine. One spoon and its a nice smooth espresso. Upgrade your at home latte experience with Mehmet Efendi.

It’s gorgeous and super affordable in comparison to other espresso coffees.

Amazing!!! Can’t tell you how is great to taste it! It is not sweet at all which you can make it sweet with sugar by yourself. The smell is awesome! Super amazing for morning coffee to give you an energy! Totally worth the price and totally recommend it.

I prefer this coffee over the supermarket brands. I prefer the taste. Its a finer ground, similar to espresso. It tastes wonderful with honey in it. The best thing is that it doesn’t come in coffee pods, so there is no waste.

After you’ve finished the coffee you can re purpose the tin and use it to store your pens in.

My son and I love this coffee. We normally drink the New Orleans blend made by Café Du Monde, a New Orleans staple. CDM is a French roast with Chicory, not a mild blend. Since trying this Black Turkish Coffee we drink more of it than we do CDM, which I grew up drinking in New Orleans.

The Tallit is very nice and my husband is very pleased. He loves the clips as well. However, I thought the pattern was consistent throughout the garment instead of just down the sides. You can’t tell by the picture that the center is all white.

Turkish coffee ToGo. I really love this special taste. I bought the practical one cup portion bags, because I’ll take them to work. Quick done and delicious. My wake up drink for long night shifts.

This was the first Tallit I had bought. I researched different companies, obtained Rabbinical advice and instruction, and I chose the Talitnia “Gilboa” Tallit. I went online and they helped me choose the right size.

It was perfect in size, traditionally sound, and beautifully made. It will be much easier for my next grandson, as he will get this Tallit as well.

This is my all time Favourite Turkish Coffee. It doesn’t get any better than this. For whatever reason, probably the Cardamom ground into it, it wakes you up but you do not get the caffeine crash after with this.

A very distinct flavour, perfect for am pm. I can be prone with other coffees to get a bit too hyped up jittery with them. Not with this, I get such a lovely wake up that’s smooth a nice come down as if I hadn’t had one.

Most other’s crash me so hard but not this one. 😁.

I used this to make espresso and it’s the best I’ve ever had. It almost has a slight carmel flavor to it. I won’t drink anything else.

This is our first purchase of Turkish coffee. We are thrilled with the product and the instructions are very easy to understand and execute. My husband and I now drink this wonderfully delicious coffee almost every day.

Honestly, I thought it tasted bland and stale compared to when I purchased it in Isreal.

I may have misread the product info, however I must admit I did not expect 3. 5 ounces of coffee for $7. 99. The photo seemed to be misleading. At this price this coffee would be almost $35. 00 a pound.

I expect more value from Walmart.

After the start of the pandemic, I purchased an espresso machine to keep me caffeinated while working from home. Being from Hawai’i, I have developed a taste for fresh espresso made with Kona coffee beans and wanted to reproduce my favorite coffee house flavors at home.

This proved more difficult than I expected as I quickly realized why a good Kona coffee drink typically runs $6 or more – Kona coffee is expensive. So began a two-year search for a comparable replacement.

I purchased fresh medium espresso roasts from national chains, small specialty roasters both locally & nationally, and even imported coffee from Italy. I have a few favorites, but all the caffeine started to get to me.

Enter the half-calf products from Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC – I have tried nearly every variety of their half-caf options. For espresso-based drinks that most closely resemble the Kona coffee flavors, the Peruvian is definitely #1, however, my husband likes Italian espresso flavors and prefers the Mexican half-caf blend.

Both are excellent, mahalo nui for producing such great fresh roasted blends!.

I bought a bag of FRC’s Organic Sumatra Swiss Water Decaf Coffee hoping my wife and I could enjoy it by itself or mix it with our favorite caffeinated beans to let us enjoy drinking more coffee daily without having the urge to go rob a liquor store! We can only handle so much caffeine a day without it introducing that annoying overcaffeinated jumpiness.

We were a bit disappointed. This doesn’t necessarily mean these aren’t good decaffeinated coffee beans. It may just mean we had unrealistic expectations for decaf. We’ll try other decafs to see if another one suits our taste buds better.

Your taste buds might like this; we honestly didn’t.

Our family has purchased well over a hundred pounds of the medium roast yir. Ethiopian coffee over the past 3+ years from Fresh Roasted Coffee from Amazon, and now thankfully straight from the company that is just 30 miles down the road from us ( much fresher this way, and a better deal ).

We decided to try the dark roast since the wife prefers a dark roast, and was hoping for a close to a medium dark roast. It is a very good dark roast. It’s not to the extreme of a French or Italian roast, but a full body creamy a couple steps above a medium dark roast.

I’m not a big fan of dark roast coffees, but the wife and daughter love it, and I even enjoy a cup of it every now and then. Plus, I find myself blending a spoon full or two with my medium roast to add a bit of caramelized creaminess to my afternoon brew.

Fresh Roasted Coffee has the best Ethiopian coffees varieties I have encountered through my travels and purchases, and their dark roast is no exception.

Alameed coffee is one of my favorite brands in Turkish coffee, but the product I just bought has been expired in April 2019. Am a coffee lover and freshness is the key, will never drink or eat any expired product.

We ordered two bags. One came with a puncture and the coffee was spilling out. Tried to contact the company twice and got no response. We love this coffee but the service has not been good.

The Bast Turkish Coffee on the Market

The way I drink it: Fill 2 espresso cups with water. Put a 1/4 of one of the cup of water in the pot. Add a 1/4 cup of sugar. Heat on high for about 7 minutes or until the sugar starts to get thick. Pull aside add the rest of the water.

Now add a heaping spoon of coffee and place back on the burner. in about 2 minutes the action starts. You have to be fast and smooth for this part or you will get a mess. As the foam rises spill it into one or both of the cups depending on if you alone.

Place back on the burner until foam rises to the top again. Repeat this until you stop getting foam. Took me a while to master this and I am not even sure it’s right, but after watching tons of youtube videos this is what i came up with and I love it.

Not one of them mentioned browning the sugar, but it seems to really help make the foam stay foamy. Hope this helps out a few lost people.

When made in Turkish fashion, this coffee is fantastic. If you love espresso, but wish it wasn’t so bitter, try this. You will need to buy the proper pot and learn how to make it properly, but it’s simple.

Just Google it. This coffee is strong and bold, but has a smooth, satiny texture. There is no bitterness to the taste either. I was very surprised the first time I had it prepared for me the right way.

I tried it in my cafetera, and in my Keurig, and in my coffee pot, etc. Awful. When made right it was fabulous. This is now my favorite coffee. Gives you that extra caffeine kick you need without making you feel like you were punched.

We have lived coffee all of our lives and own a small European coffee house in Atascadero, California. That we offer Turkish coffee as a choice is part of our success in the area and, after all, this is a folk club.

We use a Beko Turkish coffee maker and Kurukahveci’s best Turkish coffee, albeit, we are celebrating the life of Socrates by proxy. The product is great.

I received my order quickly and the pot was of good quality. After a few uses the silver lining has chipped a little on the bottom but the company does reline for free once a year. Expected with copper pots and pans.

All in all great coffee maker!.

Beautifully made, but expensive. The long handle is still a bit short for my electric stove as it gets a little too warm for comfort. I have to place the cezve on the very edge of the burner. Also, it makes only one demitasse sized serving, two servings would be better.
