Not meaning to overwhelm the reader’s eyes, but in my opinion the content of my positive review is important, so I hope you’ll accept my double-slashes in lieu of paragraphs! // It’s true that the nutritional facts on the tub’s label state “25% curcuminoids” as the above reviewer indicates.

However, I believe Dr. Mercola is accurate when he writes in his article that he certifies his formula to contain 95% curcuminoids. How can both be true? // Well, consider: Dr. Mercola cautions that some lesser-quality formulas may source their curcumin from inferior turmeric with diminished curcuminoid content.

By contrast, he makes certain to source his from high-quality raw turmeric still fresh enough to pack a punch. This ensures the 95% potency rate he quotes—the percentage refers to the curcuminoid content level at the point of harvest.

He is talking about the quality of the turmeric itself. // The note on the container’s label that indicates “25% curcuminoids” is the total amount of curcuminoids by volume as compared to the other (carrier) ingredients, the ones that make this formula readily bioavailable to our pets.

This percentage is merely revealing the relative ratio of curcuminoids to support ingredients—it is not a comment on the quality of curcumin. In the same article, Dr. Mercola frankly addresses the issue of fillers and explains that he does not use unnecessary ingredients.

So, the fact that 25% of his formula is devoted to the active ingredient actually is impressive, given that a lot of supplements offer far less purity. // The measured scoop included within the tub provides the ideal amount of this formula as determined by the Mercola folks.

One must assume that they’ve already accounted for the ratio of curcuminoids to other ingredients in calculating the proper amount. // I’m rating this supplement at 4/5 stars only because it’s impossible to know for certain its internal effects on my kitties.

I can say definitively after a few months’ use that they find it palatable, that the powder w/ scoop is easy to use and that one tub lasts quite awhile. My cats are blossoming with health; whether or not this supplement adds measurably to their quality of life is hard to say, but it certainly doesn’t harm, and considering the research it’s probably doing a lot of good.

This supplement really works! I give it to my dogs and cats daily for their immune systems. Some of my cats got a cold recently with sneezing, stuffy noses and watery eyes. The interesting thing is that the symptoms lasted for 1 day.

Normally cold symptoms would be present for a week or longer. I have 1 cat with FIV and he was one of the ones who got sick. His cold lasted for 2 days. After the 2nd day you couldn’t tell at all that he had been sick.

I can’t imagine how bad it could have been if he hadn’t been taking this supplement. I highly recommend it for all cats and dogs but especially for those with compromised immune systems.

I have been giving my Mainecoon (who struggles with joint pain) it daily for about a week now and I think it’s helping! She is on Dausaquin but the cold weather this year has been hard on her joints.

He gets up from his bed very slowly and sometimes groans or whimpers when he walks. I just received these chews less than a week ago and started giving them to my little fellow almost immediately. From the short amount of time that he has been taking them, I have noticed improvements.

I am noticing that he is getting out of bed easier and walks with more rhythm and has that little spring in his step. I did have some trouble at first trying to convince him to take the chews. So for a few days, I broke them in half and hid them in some bologna or cheese or peanut butter.

Now, he takes them without the need for disguise. So the taste must be pleasant for him. Every dog is different and it might take a little longer to notice any improvement in your pet but I can say that after a few days, these chews have made a difference in my baby.

I love that they contain and have the right combination of tumeric, glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, Omega 3 and Vitamin C. As you may be aware, these ingredients are very well known for their pain relieving properties and joint support.

You could even give me these chews and you wouldn’t even have to disguise them in peanut butter! Based upon these observations, I highly recommend the FERA Advanced Maximum Strength Hip and Joint Soft Chews For Dogs.

They are a much better alternative than constant trips to the vet for pricey pain shots. They are reasonably priced and the positive results speak for themselves. My dog’s personality has returned and his big brown eyes sparkle from being relieved from constant pain.

I’m obsessed with it because not only do they love it but it’s also good for them. They’re all getting older so using healthy nutraceuticals is a safe way to keep them up and running. These treats are so awesome that I like to gift them to friends with dogs so they can keep their doggos healthy and happy too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

IšverstiShow in original languageNone of our dogs are young but our oldest, who is 12, has been having joint and arthritis trouble for several years now. We’ve gotten desperate to find things that will relieve his pain, even a little bit.

Since our preferred methods are natural, pain meds seem to be hard on his gut, the Fera Hip + Joint was right up our alley. I’m familiar with the usefulness of several of the ingredients which is why the product caught my eye.

Pros: Made in the USA! Gluten free. Not as smelly as I would have expected. Seems to start working fairly quickly. Chews are soft which is great for older dogs. No artificial colors. Cons: Doesn’t appeal to picky eaters.

Large dogs use up the container quickly. Our personal experience is that the Fera Hip + Joint does seem to be helping the old dog as he’s been moving around a little better over the last week or so since he started taking it the week prior.

He is a picky eater so we’ve had to tear them up and hide them in his food, though. However, another of our dogs, who is almost 10, started having some back trouble over the last few days so we started him on these chews as well.

It hasn’t been long enough to tell yet how well they are working but he thinks they are great tasting treats and has no problem getting them down. As a rule our dogs don’t like things with bright artificial colors so the fact that these chews are a plain brown color is a plus.

Only time and continued use will tell how big of a difference this product makes but I can say that there does seem to be some improvement and every little bit helps when our furbabies are hurting. As an FYI, both of the dogs mentioned are Alaskan Malamutes.

I felt these soft chews came in the nick of time, because our Coonhound, who is about 10 now, (he was a rescue, so age is not confirmed). just started showing signs of early arthritis. He has been holding his one paw up at times, more so when it’s been cold outside.

So I was on the internet, for so many hours, on and off, trying to find a supplement to help. I was trying to avoid the medicinal route, as far as prescription drugs etc. (not saying we won’t get there some day).

But I really feel that these soft chews have everything you could need to aid in the protection and prevention, and even treatment of joint and mobility issues. I love that the ingredients are all known, things I have heard of, AND are natural.

That’s important to me, and I imagine to others as well. And what’s probably most comforting is that they are vet formulated! I just find that really encouraging because they’re the experts and I feel we can trust a product backed by and formulated by veterinarians.

As far as our personal experience with these, we are still finishing the container we have (3 a day for our Jake’s weight), so I can’t say long term how we are doing, but I do think they help because we have been consistently giving them to him and I don’t see him favoring that paw as much.

I also can say that the flavor must be really appealing to dogs because right from the start, he never turned his nose up at them and ate them quickly each time. They smell good, actually, not like medicine or vitamins, so I think they definitely got it right with the flavoring for these.

We had no upset tummy or diarrhea starting these, or even now. Overall, very pleased with these soft chews, and planning to make them a regular part of our dog’s wellness routine.

I received PetHonestly Advanced Hip & Joint chews as a free sample in return for an honest review. I own an 11 or 12 year old pit bull mix (shelter dog; we don’t know for sure how old she is) who, thanks to a torn CCL in youth and subsequent arthritis, has definitely slowed down the past year.

I haven’t had a great experience so far with mobility treats (the brand I tried prior to this one she flat out refused to eat), and while she doesn’t like these given on their own, she will eat them willingly if I put them in her food.

I was initially going to give these 3 stars and say that I hadn’t seen any difference in her mobility or energy level. but tonight, a friend came over who hadn’t seen her in a couple of weeks (since right before I started giving my dog the chews, in fact), and my friend commented how much livelier my dog was.

I will also add that I came home this afternoon and asked my pooch if she wanted to go out, but she was snoring loudly and didn’t react. I was happy; It’s been awhile since she’s slept that deeply; I think she’s been too achy.

So I also have to be cautiously optimistic that the chews are helping reduce inflammation, too. I like that the product contains turmeric; it gets recommended as a potential anti-inflammatory supplement, but I don’t feel safe adding it into my dog’s diet myself.

Well, first off. It took forever to ship and get here. Ended up getting some from Amazon just so I could get our furbaby started on it. Didn’t really want two bottles without knowing if it would work, but I was desperate.

She has been on it for a couple weeks and I’m not really seeing any relief from her chewing and scratching. Which is really what I was hoping for. So I wouldn’t really recommend it.

Our dog hasn’t been feeling well lately. He has been scratching a lot and biting his paws, which we assumed were allergies, but after a vet visit we found out he was actually developing an autoimmune disorder.

I started out super slow, much lower than the daily dose and gradually worked my way up to a total of 4 pills, giving her 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. I think it was almost 3 weeks before I had her up to full dosage, but possibly could have raised it sooner, but I wasn’t taking any chances with her getting sick or having problems until she got used to them.

She’s been on them 2 months now since the first dose. I have to say I feel my dog’s inflammation doesn’t seem to be as bad since I put her on these. She used to lick on front joints on both legs all the time and I could tell they were swollen.

I felt so bad for her. I have her on a few things and she doesn’t seem to be limping as bad but it could be the combination of things I am doing, but I do know her swelling is almost gone. She is almost 13 and the vet had her on NSAIDS for a long time, switching meds back and forth as nothing seemed to help her.

I couldn’t see any improvement with her so I chose to put her on these and take her off the NSAIDS myself since she can’t be on both at the same time due to thinning of her blood from all my research I did.

They say they are chewable but my dog takes one sniff and gets lock jaw telling me no way I’m taking that pill. I usually break 2 pills up 2x and day and I sneak them in like a treat to get them down her.

I can see she doesn’t hardly lick her joints at all most days and they don’t seem to appear as swollen. I did by mistake get a small taste of it from the powder residue one day, not very tasty and rather bitter, but it was purely a mistake as I thought it was my coffee spoon I licked.

I got really big surprise when I realized I licked the wrong spoon and how bitter it was after doing that.

I very seldomly write a review for any product. However, this is really the bomb diggity! Our 125 lb Bernese Mountain Dog is 7. She is getting slow. I could see her struggling to jump on the leather couch – ugh.

I could see her struggling to get up and down steps. We took a shot on this and it’s absolutely amazing for her. She is running and jumping without hesitation. She is much perkier! I will definitely continue to use.

We have been giving our 11 yo GSD these chews for about 2 weeks. He has weakness of his hip joints and drops his paw on walks. I am not sure I see any real difference in how he moves or gets up/down from the floor or up/down the stairs.

Our beloved 3-year-old pug was diagnosed in 2019 with dysplasia in her left hip. We tried Cosequin and Adequan injections, but she was getting no relief. She was reluctant to go for walks or play, and she was in pain.

This is one of those products you really need to use up the entire container to truly know if it is working. We have been giving one a day to our 11 year old pitbull for a couple weeks. I stuff it in a turkey hotdog piece and put it on her breakfast and she takes it no problem.

Pills do have a bacon like flavor so one time it did fall out she ate it right up thinking it was kibble. As it has only been a couple weeks I cannot say whether these tablets have improved her mobility or eased her joint aches.

She typically has a very sensitive tummy and these have not upset her stomach at all, that is a big plus for us. We will continue to use this product until it is all gone to see if it makes her senior mobility any easier.

I cannot imagine giving these tablets to cats, each one is huge and you would have to smash it to bits to get it to a size a cat could even swallow.

My dog LOVES this! As soon as she sees me grab the bag out of the fridge, she starts getting excited & following me around. She used to let her food sit all day, & sometimes I’d wake up the next day and she still hadn’t eaten.

Never again once I started sprinkling this on top! My only complaint is that it’s very clumpy. Not sure if maybe I purchased 2 bags that had been on the shelf a while. They both had a bunch of clumps of the product, & it was difficult to work around them and get to the powdery product in order to be able to sprinkle it.

I tried flattening them out but they wouldn’t disintegrate, likely because the product is cold from the fridge. I lost a portion of both bags because of it since I couldn’t give my dog the big pieces of it.

My labradoodle has some food allergies and wasn’t crazy about his food, even though it’s crazy expensive. Another dog owner suggested another brand of topper that is equally as nutritious but much more $$ per ounce.

I can’t even tell you how happy I was to find this stuff at Target. My dog now eats every bit of his food, and he looks forward to meals, all with a little sprinkle of this topper. Please keep carrying Kindfull brand, Target! It’s amazing stuff at a ridiculously fair price and has made all the difference for my picky labradoodle.

It got her back eating after days of nothing working. She was fed just 3 droppers of this – Tada! Appetite. At her check-up, the vet was visibly impressed in her improved condition and asked what we’d been feeding.

My standard aussie has soft stool and so my vet recommended adding pumpkin to his diet. At first we just used pureed pumpkin which he loved but I wanted to try this. He absolutely loves the one with coconut and flaxseeds.

He is indifferent to the turmeric one and hates the regular pumpkin one to the point where he will spit it out and refuse it. I think maybe it’s too watery for him. I will definitely order the coconut oil + flaxseeds again but will not order the regular pumpkin.

I wish there was a variety pack with just the coconut and turmeric option.

My 2 year old cat Ollie loves this stuff. After a course of antibiotics when we first got him, he was left with severe diarrhea. We tried everything: expensive prescription food from the vet, medication from the vet, probiotics; nothing was working.

Out of desperation, I did some research and saw that pumpkin could help. I ordered the Weruva online as well as another pumpkin brand and gave it to him as soon as it arrived. After the first time we gave him some pumpkin, he never had diarrhea again.

I’m serious. We gave him a little by itself to see if he would like it, and he LOVED it. We then mixed it with his dry food, water, and the probiotic powder (which he wouldn’t eat before, didn’t like it) and he gobbled it up.

It may have just been that the pumpkin got him to eat the probiotics which helped, but either way it worked. We weaned him off the probiotics, stopped mixing in water, then got him to just eat the dry food by itself, and the diarrhea never reoccurred.

Now he gets the pumpkin as a treat. So grateful, highly recommend.

my lovely old dog just loves these pieces of chewy turmeric. I introduced him to them over 18mths ago. What a tasty treat that does him good as well. He receives it after eating. He stands by his empty bowl and will not budge until he has his turmeric pieces.

My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection.

The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn’t want to increase her stress.

I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready.

I now just give her a dose at night and that seems to help. She has been on Kidney Gold for over a year and her kidney values have not gotten any worse as would be expected. I have also used other Pet Wellbeing products in the past for other pets and have had good results with all.

I picked this up from the specialty pet store near my home. I’ve seen a huge difference in my senior dog since I started giving him bone broth and I thought having a powder on hand in case I ran out of the liquid or homemade, would be a good plan.

First, let me start with the smell. It smells awful when you’remixing it up with the water. It’s not a super strong smell or anything, but it’s not pleasant at all. The directions say that lumps are normal, but those are just clumps of undisolved powder, which just seems weird.

We had some snow dumped on us this week, and rather than go to the store to pick up more liquid bone broth, I decided to use this powder. I don’t think it agreed with my dogs at all, especially the senior.

He was lethargic and just didn’t want to play, or do much of anything. It didn’t register that this product could be the cause until today, when I was able to add the liquid carton bone broth to his meal again.

It’s like looking at a completely different dog. We won’t be using the rest of the container, and obviously, I won’t repurchase.

I tend to change up the addition to my dogs’ Blue Buffalo kibble to keep it interesting for them. Have used the HK PourOvers, Weruva packets, and Stella and Chewy dinner patties. They LOVE this bone broth.

Might be the favorite thing in rotation, and definitely the most economical. I tried the beef and the turkey and they loved both. My one pittie has allergies to poultry and grain, so this is great for him.

And my other picky pittie (who favors the Duck Duck Goose Stella patties, which are expensive) loves it too. Win win for everyone involved — tasty for the pups, economical for mom. I also obviously feel good giving this to them because of the ingredients.

For ten bucks, it’s worth giving it a try. If your dogs don’t like it, it doesn’t feel like a huge waste.

Just as it says. My German shepherd is pure bred, so he has a sensitive stomach. Gut issues. He had diarrhea or constipation. We tried everything vets recommended and nothing worked. I decided to add this broth to my dogs kibble after reading about the benefits, and his poops are so healthy and solid! He doesn’t strain and he’s more active and happy.

My dog was put on Plena Curae, a supplement to help aid with arthritis. But it is hard to get a hold of and only sold by the company to vets. I asked my vet for a suitable substitute, and this product was recommended.

Also happens to be cheaper. It seems to be helping with the arthritis, but he takes this with other supplements. Also, the directions that are written here on site, is different than on the bottle. The bottle says to give the pills once a day, but Chewy’s directions say twice a day.

First off I never review a chewy product until now I am really surprised because honestly I’ve gone through supplement after supplement for my picky eater rescue dogs. I have a senior citizen dog who was neglected and poorly fed when she was a pup I got her when she was an adult and have tried supplement after supplement trying to get her to eat her glucosamine and help her with her hip problems nothing was working I would try and hide dog food and get gels and numerous other products until now she gulps her food every day and I have never had a problem with her turning away a food item.

I also have a rescue puppy who also benefits from the supplement as well. They jump and play all day!!!.

Our small dog is 13 years old and started having problems with arthritis is her legs and not wanting to walk very far. After 2 days on this powder, I thought I had a puppy again! She has a bounce in her step again and feels so much better.

I have long been aware of the benefits of Turmeric so when Dorwest launched it at Crufts 2018 I decided to try it on Anja who is a 13 year old Keeshond. She is an active fun loving lass but I felt the benefits of Turmeric might enhance her comfort.

The have certainly made a difference. She had now been on the tablets for two months and I can see the improvement in her mobility. she jumps in and out of our motorhome with ease and readily runs on our walks with the younger members of the family.

Very good for my elderly dog. Increasingly turmeric is being used as part of treatment for arthritis in elderly dogs. I use it for me too. But not the dogs version!!!
