This truck was rated for intermediate experience but right out of the box with no practice in The Last 5 Years I found this truck is simple, easy to run, fast, goes anywhere, yes it’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, I bought another upgraded truck of the same model and outside of the upgrades I can barely tell a difference.

Yes stock parts may break with hard use, buy the upgraded parts, RPM etc, and you are garanteed hours of family fun. Highly recommend the slash, but get two. My daughters boyfriend got me hooked and have tons of fun racing.

Start with the Li-Po Batts and get the fan for the speed controller, you won’t be sorry with the extended speed and runtimes.

Simply designed with excellent overall reliability and durability. Working with 11 Year Old now on installing the telemetry sensors available and the telephone dashboard. Excellent skill building due to both the hands on mechanics as well as teaching how sensors work.

I have two Slash 2WD and one Slash 4X4 VXL Brushless. All three Slash cars have worked well.

truck came as expected. super fun super fast and ready to race. LOVE the fox shocks body. only used twice but no problems and not broken. my only complaint is that the charger it comes with is for use in an automobile! Thats right.

You can’t plug it into your wall and charge the battery. What a joke. Other than that the reputation this truck has is legit. buy one.

After months of research and comparing drop kit configurations for my 2018 Silverado 1500 crew cab, I decided in Belltech’s 3/5 -4/6 drop kit. Utilizing a 2″ drop spindle, 1″ lowering spring and Street Performance strut in the front.

Rear axle flip kit in the back with the shackle relocation for leaf springs. I am extremely pleased with everything. Alignment hasn’t changed a bit from stock. No bottoming out on the bed. (Side note- I also added at the same time Hellwigs front and rear sway bars.

) The combination of everything has taken my truck to another level. Corners like a sports car, but still holds the power of my truck. Happy customer!!!.

This kit is great. The truck feels much better on the road, you can step up onto your tail gate the wife can get into the cab and it looks great. At first I installed the 1-3/5. 5 kit and it sucked, was way toooo low in the back, tow hitch dragged everywhere and bottomed out all the time.

Also was a huge pain to install, had to cut away the center drive shaft mount. Do yourself a FAVOR and get this kit. Belltech should only sell this kit, the other bites. I did the rear part but paid a shop to install the struts.

For me it was much cheaper than buying a spring compressor and a die grinder. Plus they were then on the hook for it to be able to be aligned.

Over all I’m pretty happy with the kit. The only issues I had was the springs they sold me from max was for a 2wd not 4wd and to find out they don’t make or can get me springs to work in the front so I had to reuse my stock front springs.

Handles good, but the ride isn’t the greatest in the front. It bounces pretty hard and pretty quick since the stock springs has to be compressed all the way down to make it work. I found a company that custom makes springs what you are looking for.

Can’t wait to get those lol.

This is a supplement to my previous review for a more complete picture. Keeping in mind that this instrument was only 24. 00 including shipping, WITH a bridge, a bow, rosin and a nice protective case, it can pretty much be said that the violin and accessories were FREE after paying shipping cost.

That being stated, my violin arrived with the sound post having come loose and was rolling around inside – but the strings were not tuned to pitch since the owner needs to unwrap and set up the bridge, and even a fine expensive violin can release the sound post if all the strings are loose, so you can’t really call this a defect.

Also, the neck does have a very pronounced scoop (convex bow) that will need to be lessened with a little planing. Again, for 24 dollars including shipping this is to be expected. The bottom line is that it arrives in playable condition, and I don’t mind a bit doing a little work to make it play better.

Anyone who expects an instrument in this price range to be completely free of bugs is being very unrealistic. It plays, and can be made to play better with just a slight amount of handiwork. I am very happy with my purchase, and it never hurts to learn how to reset a sound post.

As long as there is a reasonably handy guy in the house, I highly recommend this instrument for a beginner, or even as a practice violin to save wear on your regular player.

The bracket is the best speedlight bracket you can get for your photography needs. The overall construction may not be the highest quality, but it is very cleverly made so that it doesn’t need to be the highest quality.

The speedlight is gripped in place very well using the easy to turn screw on top that can secure the speedlight in place with little effort. The tilt section is designed with a good grip design that has ridges.

This is great because you don’t have to tighten very hard to secure the tilt in desired position. This type of tightening screw can break if over tightened, which has happened to me with other brackets, but that shouldn’t happen with this bracket because it doesn’t require too much pressure to secure it in position.

The bracket will also sit securely on any light stand. All other brackets I have owned before will sit fine on a light stand with a flat head, but never sits well on light stands that have a screw on top.

The bracket places the head of the speedlight in the center where it belongs, this will allow the light from the flash to strike modifiers in the center and better control the light. The bracket holds the head of the speedlight instead of gripping at the base, this allows you to swivel the body of the speedlight around so that you can trigger more easily with slave, and allow you to place the body at the angle needed to easily adjust power up and down.

I don’t know of any other speedlight bracket so well thought out and as practical as this one.

The Z24 was my second choice, because my first choice was not available. But this is a very nice mower, and I’m happy it. I chose the 42″ deck because it’s more maneuverable and easier to store than a 54″ or 60″ mower.

I can probably mow my 2 acres just as fast with the 42″ deck than the bigger models because it can squeeze around flower beds and trees a bit easier. It’s fun to drive, so even if it takes a few extra passes to mow, I don’t mind.

The big 725 cc Kawasaki motor is a beast, with tons of power to spare. It starts easily and runs really nicely, and the controls are linear and easy to handle. Be sure to compare the blade speed to other mowers you’re shopping – the X242 shoots clippings about 20 feet! The only real compromise is that the Z242’s rear tires are a bit small and they slide and spin a little in the steeper parts of my yard.

They also look wimpy. I’m going to fill them with RimGuard to try to improve the traction.

I purchased this mower because my old lawn tractor was just tired. There are some cons to this mower. I use big 72” Ferris mowers at work. They are the top of the line commercial grade in my opinion.

I know that it’s not a good comparison but that is what I based my thoughts off of. The major thing I do not care for about this mower is the parking brake is in the controls. I wish it was a lever pull brake.

The controls are a little tight. I believe it’s because of the brake being in them. The smallest issue I have is that the discharge shoot is a hard plastic wish it was rubber. Other than those two minor issues I am very pleased with it.

The cut is perfect it really throws the cuttings so they aren’t built up on the sequential pass. It will make any home owner a great mower. If you want to use it for commercial use it’s not the mower for you.

It is just a residential mower. Good for a 2acre property with trees.

I received the Z24 on a Friday and used it for the first time on Saturday. The hardest part of using it was getting it out of the well-secured shipping crate. I was halfway through mowing my 1-acre lot on the lake when a rock ledge I was mowing near gave way.

When it did, the mower with me on it flipped backward over the ledge and did two or three somersaults down a 45-degree grade hill toward the lake. A small tree stopped the descent about 65′ down the hill with the mower resting on its right side and the engine guard embracing the tree.

Fortunately, the mower ended up between me and the tree. The zero-turn levers had acted like a seat belt, so I never left the mower all the way down. When it suddenly stopped, I fell from the seat with only a few scratches.

The severe slope had apparently kept most of the mower weight off me as we did the somersaults down the hill. With the help of some good neighbors, a 4 wheel drive pickup, and some really long straps, we were able to pull the mower up the 65′ of 45-degree grade hill and over the ledge that had collapsed.

The only damage to the mower was the left hydraulic wheel lock pin was bent. I took the bracket off, straightened it in a vice, put it back on, and started the mower. It ran like new, which it was, and I was able to finish mowing the yard.

I doubt that anyone else has driven their zero-turn off a cliff, winched it back up, and then finished mowing the yard, all in one day. God was with me that day, or maybe the feral cat I’ve been feeding for the past 13 years gave me one of his 9 lives.

It truly was a miracle that I was not severely injured or killed, and it was also a miracle that the mower suffered no real damage. Anyway, if you find a more durable or reliable mower, please let me know.

I will buy it if this one ever quits working.

While shopping for tires, my biggest concern was finding a quiet ride. I shopped several brands (Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone and Continental). This tire rated very well in that group and I got it for several hundred dollars less.

I installed them immediately. The ride is a advertised and handles very well. The vehicle that I have them on is a car that I drive for pleasure. Therfore I can’t tell you how it hassles in the rain as I only drive it in ideal weather conditions.

Be advised that this is a summer tire and not expected to perform well in snow so if you need tires for all seasons, this probably isn’t the tire for you. I am happy as it suits my needs wonderfully.

This review may be a bit premature but these tires appear to be a great value. I have done approximately 200 miles on these tires and they are great performing street tire. I have conducted some driving in moderate rain with these tires in 70 degree weather and they performed perfectly fine.

The tires were very predictable when driving in the rain. I have yet to experience the tires in lower degree weather (sub-50) but these tires are generally suited for those conditions. I would say give these a try if you are used to Indy 500s or similar models.

I hope to get some decent life out of these as well with them being 280TW.

This is an excellent performance tire for summer use, I really love trendware classification. This tire cannot be rotation due to my staggered rims but other than that it’s an excellent choice.

Brief personal background: I am a retired electrical engineer with 4 years in electrical generation power industry and 42 years in semiconductor design/manufacturing. I have been mowing yards for over 50years and in my youth worked on farms running mostly tractors with different attachments.

I mainly have experience with gas power push mowers and on the farm with large 20 ft bush hogs. This is my first for both electric and Zero Turn Mower (ZTM). Brief history of ownership: I have used this mower 2 times mowing a little over an acre that is mainly Bermuda grass but does have some crab and blue grass.

First time yard was little wet and about 4. 5 inches high, second was dryer and the grass was about 3. 5 inches. I use the 2. 67” blade height setting. My yard has about 25 obstacles to mow around and is mostly level (only a small ditch).

I mowed during the day, so lights were not needed. Brief Summary of mower: I bought this from Lowes and had it delivered. Lowes had already assembled it before delivery but from instruction seem to be very straight forward.

This ZTM has very good ergonomics (I am 5’7”, 190lbs), very easy to operate (setting are mostly intuitive), with very good displays showing different setting, status of battery level, and alarms if they occur, very quiet compared to gas mowers, cut quality at the 2 highest blade speed setting was very good and even, steering controls good (since first time with ZTM it hard for me to compare this to gas version or other electric but I do think the control of speed and turning could be a little more linear), battery life good (It took about 50min to mow and had 20% left on battery using 2nd highest setting on blade speed and 2nd setting on drive speed, this is from a 100% charge).

The charger was very easy to mount and will run on a 15amp service. From ~ 20% battery level to 100% took 1. 75 hrs. Cleaning after use was very easy with hose quick disconnect and just blowing off the upper deck.

The main reason I bought this mower was I had good experience with their trimmer and edger. Also, I like the battery pack design that displays battery level and appears to provide good cooling of the battery and charger.

I like the ability to remove and replace batteries if needed. The S/W application was easy to down load and run, check the firmware for any updates (mine did not need any), and status of the mower. EGO web site for registering was easy to use (It would be nice if EGO had a way for the mower to read serial number of the mower, batteries, and charger, so when you log in with the app this would automatically load for registration) Pros: Ergonomic, chair comfort, controls/displays, battery design, cutting quality and power, manual is very clear and coverage of operation/safety, S/W app and firmware update capabilities, overall design.

Cons: Price, speed and turn controls (needs to be little more linear) Recommendations: 1) Include the full six 10amps/hr batteries and mulching attachment 2) Blade height setting needs a better way to display the setting, I would recommend showing this on the main control display it could easily be done.

3) Have mower read serial number for easy warranty setup. 4) On the discharge chute add a simple way to lower and raise, to improve storage and maneuverability.

I used to do professional lawn care using commercial grade Scag zero turn mowers. I feel very qualified to provide a review of any zero turn. Although I am no longer mowing professionally, I wanted to keep a zero turn mower for my own yard.

A couple of things are very important to me when it comes to mowing: efficiency, which means mowing fast while also doing a good and thorough job without damaging the lawn with spinning tires or running into obstacles, clean lines, and the blades not skipping over areas leaving uncut grass.

I also wanted to get an electric mower to reduce maintenance requirements. I no longer wanted to mess with belts, oil, spark plugs, or lead batteries. I tested an electric Cub Cadet zero turn but got the Ego because the steering on the Ego is smoother and free of jerks.

Coming from commercial grade, the 42″ Ego satisfies my needs and probably would for almost any homeowner. I like how the entire deck can be easily removed which makes accessing the blades for removal/sharpening easy.

The seat is very comfortable and the front lights are very bright. The only negatives are that the Ego is lighter weight than a commercial grade heavy duty mower with relatively small drive wheels so it can struggle to travel lengthwise along slopes without slipping down the slope (most of my 1 acre is on a slope).

I can take my time and mow all of my property which totals about 3/4 acre worth of grass and have 25% battery remaining. For tall grass it skipped in a few places which requires a second pass. Since I am spoiled by the weight and thorough cutting of commercial mowers, I know what mowers are capable of.

This mower is not a commercial mower and keeping that in mind with the pricetag on this Ego, I can easily give it a 5 star review. A commercial grade mower can easily cost 5000 to 15000 more than the Ego, so in my opinion you get a really good value in the peace ofbmind that this mower will work eveytime you go out to the garage or shed and it will do a satisfactory job of cutting your grass.

Add to that the compatibility of batteries with other Ego products and this makes it a good mower.

Having owned 34 inch Arians zero turn gas mower with a 14 hp Briggs & Stratton engine (engine died after 5 years) ,and I have also owned a Ryobi 480me 38” electric riding mower both for 5 years ( battery was losing capacity) , I am neither new zero turn mowers or electric mowers.

Compared to the gas it’s refreshing to have quiet, reduced maintenance and not having to breathing the fumes especially when parking in the shed. I am able to cut my grass sideways in the ditch whereas my gas version I could only do up and down as it would just turn to the bottom.

It’s a crutch of all zero turn mowers but the Ego handles it much better. Compared to the prior will be electric with lead acid batteries, it has both way more power and better control of speed, blade speed and different control mode.

The lead acid batteries just did my acreage when they were new, the Ego I did my acreage and the ditch and I had 50% of the battery left. Being a zero turn it also does the job a lot faster as I have lots of obstacles and irregular shape of my lawn.

The Ego powertrain is quieter than the Ryobi electric. I haven’t cut any deep grass with it yet as I am currently in a drought and it’s the fall, so the real test will come in the spring. The only thing I don’t like about it is the deck makes a lot of noise when it’s going fast over bumps, a lot more than the other two mowers.

I think the frame is good because a lot of times and uneven surfaces when we will be in the air which suggests a strong frame but maybe you need some bushings just to get rid of the noise from the vibration in the deck, Ryobi had way less.

I also wish it came with 12 amp hour batteries. This is my first mower where you can attach a hose to clean the deck which to me is important. I also wish the batteries were under the seat to reduce overall length of the mower for easier storage but that’s just nitpicking.

Absolutely horrible. Do not buy. I’m the dummy who bought one, it broke on the first day (mechanical). Bought another with the protection plan. It broke on the first day (electrical) Walmart will not refund either one.

The protection plan doesn’t kick in until you’ve had it a year. Allstate will not help. Both Walmart and Allstate do not stand by their word or products.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI bought a set of these for a RWD Ford Ranger. The noticeable stability that these tires bring is second to none. I chosen not to stud the tires and had no problems at all going through any winter condition.

It felt like my RWD ranger was a 4×4. The high amount of Sipes and snow groove technology is really evident in the tire. These tires hug the road and I have noticed big difference in shortened braking distance.

I would put them up against a Michelin tire any day of the week. You cannot go wrong with having these tires on your vehicle.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleThis is my first pair of snow tires, and so far they’ve been worth every penny after 500 miles of dry highway, snowy highway, and a mixture of plowed and unplowed backroads.

They look and feel and drive like light-truck tires, and that’s not at all bad. A little road noise is noticeable on the highway, but the peace of mind is preferable to a harder tire that might be more quiet.

I’ve tested them in a Top 10 all-time snowstorm in Duluth, MN (post Thanksgiving 2019, 24 inches in 24 hours), and they did very well maintaining traction during turns, starting, stopping, and tracking straight in several inches of snow.

The roads were really horrible even after a day of plowing, but the tires made everything stress free even while the plows struggled to keep up. When it came time to actually break free from the snowbank where my driveway used to be, I don’t know if I would have made it out without these tires.

They did spin a little, but instead of spinning, heating up, and smoking like regular all-seasons, they instead sucked the snow into the tread, hooked up, and got me going with 6–8 inches of snow underneath my vehicle (and thus directly behind the front wheels).

I have no AWD. The tires did all the work. The difference in winter performance over regular, all-seasons is noticeable, to me at least. The FWD vans I have driven generally do well in snow, but often feel sketchy/out of control due to their harder rubber tires.

This is the biggest difference I notice about the Evolutions, and really all snow tires—the softer rubber plus the tread really do work. On the interstate, they tend to start to howl a little above 65 mph.

I don’t notice the noise as much at 45–55 mph on county roads where I normally drive. If I had to drive hundreds of highway miles on dry pavement every week for work, for example, I’d probably chance it with softer all-seasons.

But since I use the interstate sparingly, I’m all in for the winter rubber. It remains to be seen how well they wear. I hope to get two or three winters out of them, November to March, but we’ll see.

Ideally you should have an extra sets of wheels to put these tires on and run them for the winter season and then remove them to store for next year. They seem to wear pretty fast and they may not be useful for the following winter if you leave them on all year.

I’ve had Nokian tires for years now and they are by far the best tire I’ve ever owned. Bought my first set living in Alaska and they preformed above expectation. In the harsh winters. Great experience buying from Priority tire.

Had exactly what I wanted and shipping was fast. Definitely will be using Priority tire again in the future.

Used them in wet snow so far and they worked great! I’m used to all terrains on my 4×4 Toyota over the years but never had tires like these. Mounted on 2015 Ford Edge all wheel drive. So far they are great in rain and wet snow.

I would buy again.

I only buy Nokian Tyres for all our our family cars. The WR G4’s are great, and I highly recommend them. I bought this set for my daughter, but waited six days from morning of order for delivery. That cost her $182 in additional loaner car fees.

Will shop somewhere else next time.

I was pleased with the fast delivery (was sent 2 at a time and FedEx had a delivery exception on the 2nd pair but that’s a fault of FedEx). I have about 1,000 on this set with my Model 3 and I am very pleased.

These wheels grip well on all conditions minus snow since it is not winter yet. Given Nokian’s reputation in icy conditions, my expectations are high. In comparison with the stock tires, these are much better than the Michelin Primacy ones.

I despised those tires and I’m glad to have them off of my car. The Wh/mi appears to have gone up slightly which is of no concern to me. Safety first! Overall satisfied.

This is the roughest riding tire I’ve ever had the displeasure of driving on. My Subaru slams over every bump and crack in the road. Pavement patches feel like the car is going to break in half. The car has new OEM struts and new rubber isolator bushings.

It’s the tires! I run 32psi. The only good/bad thing is they are so hard that they lasted 60000 miles. I took my last ride in them today. Buy anything else!.

These all season tires are used by me on a BMW X5 2013. I use them year round. While I would not trust them in deep snow, they are fine on cleared winter roads. These tires have excellent ride quality.

The downside may be future availability. They come from Nokian’s plant in Russia, which I understand is no longer exporting tires after the Ukranian invasion. The price on WalMart seems to vary greatly day to day.

Tires are great and make my Mercedes Benz SUV drive like a brand new vehicle. They replaced a set of Michelin’s that I could not justify a new set. I decided to get creative and alter the size slightly in hopes to improve MPG.

The aggressive tread is wonderful on dry or wet roads. Rides smoother then ever. The financing was quick approval. All and all this was the best tire purchase I’ve ever made.

Upon mounting and balancing, the tire rode very bumpy and uneven. Priority tires was unhelpful in processing a return asking for unwarranted statements from the installer before processing the refund.

I will be pursuing legal means to recover my funds. Buyer beware of Priority Tires policies!.

Tires are what I expected. I bought the same tires only smaller size about a year ago. They work very well for me. The service from Priority Tire in my experience, has been very good. I have made several purchases from them and never had any issues.

I purchased this Radius X clutch kit over a year ago and installed it on a YZ250. I have waited to do a review so I could offer some advice to others on the durability of the clutch. I have just over 150 hours on this clutch and have had no issues at all.

I have rode every type of terrain and at times been even a little demanding on the clutch. (sand washes exiting turns and slipping clutch in to keep bike rpm up rather then down shifting) the clutch works exceptionally well.

I purchased a 2021 YZ250X and swapped the clutch to the new bike. The clutch and parts were inspected at the time of the swap with virtually no visible wear. I wish Rocky Mountain offered some of the replacement parts for these clutch kits(needed the Rekluse gasket to swap my clutch) I have installed 2 Radius x kits on 2017 YZ250FX and also a 2018 RM250F( When friends try your bike to see how the clutch works the Radius X sells itself) the clutch kit is a investment in your bike but will make you a better rider if your not a pro and just a average rider.

The shipping time and service of 2Wheel was fantastic. No problems at at. I’ve been a user of Rekluse since the Z-StartPro. The new RadiusX seems to be the cream of the Rekluse crop. Installation was simple and flawless.

My Grandson has always hated the Rekluse operation, but one ride on the RadiusX and he actually said he liked it over the EXP.

works great no more stalling my yz426f with tall 1st gear in tight places or using rear brake while going slow plus improved my cornering. The metal tabs are nice keeps less wear on clutch basket this kit does everything it said even starts.

And if you ride a big bore bike in woods I would strongly recommend rekluse radius x clutch. I do more riding than stalling and kickstarting my bike. yes its pricey but after you put it in your bike you will be glad you bought it.

I know I am happy with it.

No doubt the 12429 is the best looking of the Wltoys buggy’s. Unfortunately, it has design flaws that restrict it to: a purchase for those who don’t need good performance buying to upgrade only. It has the 540 motor, which is ok, but the new 550 motor is offered in all the newer models – for good reason (much hotter performance).

It’s a slow buggy. the track is too narrow, narrower than every other buggy. it will not slide or drift, except in the loosest of surface materials, which means it will constantly tip over while running about.

this quality alone precludes having any fun with the car except admiring its looks. bashing, sliding, jumping, climbing, racing etc. will result in disappointment compared to other similarly priced cars/buggy’s/trucks.

the steering is sloppy and inaccurate, as the servo saver and steering linkage design, used on all models in this price range, is weak, easily damaged and squirrely. (a bit of grease on the servo saver bar helps!) The shocks are not oil dampened, a requirement for any rc drifter, buggy, truck etc.

Thus, the 12429 bounces all over the place and won’t jump without the rear end flipping up and over. There is a cheap mod to fix this on youtube using original shocks if you are handy. The battery compartment has been moved up high behind the cockpit and holds the battery in a sideways configuration instead of longitudinally (i.

e. with the long side stretching front to back). The sideways configuration of the battery compartment means a longer battery cannot be fitted in the compartment, even with modification. This results in 1.

A very high center of gravity, which worsens the already unacceptable tendency to tip over in turns. 2. A real difficulty plugging in the battery pack, which must be done from underneath and inside the car.

3. Lack of any floor behind the seat (this is part of how the cool look is achieved). So there’s nothing to work with to create a lower position for the battery pack. (all well designed cars have the battery pack on the floor of the chassis to improve center of gravity.

Never used one before. Needed to test all new appliances in motorhome conversion. Excellent to use in both confined spaces and open areas. Gas detection spot on when pre tested on live supply in and under vehicle(gas tank).

V. good easy to follow instructions. A1 product. D. Gardiner(Surrey).

Bought two of these after getting two of the 12428 cars. Different driving experience and good to contrast after driving 12428 for a while. More stable than 12428 and a little bit slower but just as much fun! I’ve also bought WL Toys 12402a and the Wltoys 144001 cars.

They all drive differently but all are great value.

I wanted something pretty aggressive for offroading as well as the look for on road. What I really didnt expect was just how well these tires actually do on the streets. Not too loud, dont pull real bad, and have had great traction in snow and rain in NH.

Offroad these tires really shine. Excellent grip in rocks, mud and trails. Easily cleaning their tread by spinning up. I will be buying another set when i wear these out.

I had the NITTO trail grapplers in a 35×12. 5r20. they looked great lots of compliments. These yokohamas though, what an upgrade so far. I got 62k miles out of my nittos and rotated them once. I got these Yokohama tires at a price of about $600-$1000 less.

the real savings is in who you have install them. That’s another $500. Buying these tires and doing the route i decided, i saved around $1400 from my original qoute of full install. I saved over a thousand dollars, my gas milage has gone up, my tires are quiter, adn my gas mileage has raised 3 miles.

Awsome tires! I have been running BFG T/A for 20 years and have been missing out. Excelent ride quality and the wet traction is incredible. Road noise is no greater than worn T/A s. Would highly recommend these tires for daily driver and off road.

These things are extraordinary! I’ve had ‘Big Brand Premium’ tyres before, but found they generally tended to be over-priced, noisy, and either slide in the wet or squeal in the dry at the first hint of a push around a corner.

But these things!? Wow! There’s a roundabout near me in the middle of nowhere – large diameter, 3 lanes, clear visibility all the way round and to all oncoming roads/junctions so minimum risk to anyone else on the road – that I use ONLY in the dead of night to see what new tyres will do.

On a previous car with softer ‘high performance’ tyres of equivalent size I managed a constant 40 with some squeaks and complaints, and 45 before the tyres started to give in. In this heavier car, with these tyres, I had to stop at 55 because my neck hurt – and they were still asking “Faster.

?” And a recent ‘Emergency Evasion’ across 2 lanes to avoid an aquaplaning, spinning Van on a Motorway in near Monsoon conditions demonstrated they’re just as good in the wet. No squeals, no dramas, no fuss, very little road noise, just Incredible! Pay that little extra for the brand – you won’t find them anywhere else at a lower fitted price online, and you won’t get better service than their approved fitters – you will not regret it.

These tires are engineered to handle the road under dry or wet conditions with almost the same performance level. Also allow you to drive even when the tire is almost flat. What a great brand! Yes, they are expensive, but I believe they are worth the money.

I dive 100 miles daily and after a while year, I am still riding on the used ones and still perform like a champ. I totally recommend this product!.

I’ve only had the tires on the car for like, 2 weeks – yet 4 or 5 emails later, I feel pressured to review. Mainly, so I can stop receiving emails to review the product. Give some peeps a couple of months to really experience the product before asking for reviews! Tires are smooth, very quiet, and no slippage on wet pavement – unless you really give it.

Dry driving on the highway doesn’t allow for the best straight-line drive – there are always adjustments while on the highway. Maybe that’s what makes a great summer tire though. On the streets, I feel like I’m on train-tracks.

Such excellent grip. Rolls over bumps the way my OEM tires couldn’t. They look a little thicker too. I have no idea how good the treadwear is this early.

I have less than a hundred miles on these tire in a staggered arrangement and they do everything described in the description. My Mercedes SLK 320 Sport has been reborn and once again drives like it did new in 2002.

Did I mention the car was drifting to the right and the technicians at my Mercedes dealer had no solution. I figured if it were not a suspension problem than that left the tires. Once I replaced all four the problem disappeared.

I choose this brand and type because Mercedes recommend it as one of four brands.

Purchased 2 of these tires for my niece as a Christmas present. She informed me that the new tires on her car provided a more comfortable ride as the others she replaced were worn. Treading is not loud and she gets a smooth ride.

Bought the mower off a local dealer (Sawkill Power Equipment) and used it the same day. It took me less that an hour to cut my lawn. My older mower would take me a few hours to cut my lawn. I look forward to cutting my lawn now.

The Z246 is easy to use and control. It cuts my lawn fast and better than any other mower. I’m very pleased with it. I will be taking great care of this mower to ensure that it will continue run and preform like it should.

The mower is meant to cut only grass. I walk my yard to remove any rocks, sticks, and other junk that may hurt the mower. That is step one in taking care of any good lawn cut with any mower.

I bought this mower about 4 to 5 years ago and i just dont have to do much of anything to it. The belts dont wear out or the idlers or anything elce it just keeps going. I have changed the oil a couple times and i do grease it often.

I have put new blades on it a couple times. The motor is strong and never fails to start unless the battery fails and that did happen on the third year. Nothing seems to wear out on this 246 z. I have allways had cheaper mowers that you allways have to keep putting new belts and idlers and other things on but not the Husqvarna.

It was the best investment i have ever made and will never return to another brand. I allso have a husqvarna weed trimmer and i have had it 8 years i havg it on the wall every year when im done and pull it off in the summer and fill it with gas and it fires right up and have never worked on it at all.

I have had this mower for 5 years now so I feel like i am well qualified to write this review given that I have repaired just about every part of this machine other than the engine itself. The size and maneuverability are the features that sold me and the “Reinforced Deck” which as it turns out is one of my biggest complaints.

Sticking just to that topic, the reinforcement steel that is bolted to the bottom of the deck is not designed well and if you hit any obstacles like stumps or roots you will bend the shielding pushing it up into the blades and making the mower unusable.

After tearing the deck off myself several times to replace the piece, I finally just started using a sledgehammer to bend it back into shape each time which is usually 2-3 times each season. Trust me, taking the whole mower deck off is not a simple or easy task for the average homeowner.

To date now I have replaced all 4 pulleys, spindle assemblies, blades, main belt (3 times), shields (twice), and both front swivel wheels replacing them with solid no-flat tires. I do have 3 acres of land that is partially wooded so yes I do have more than just “grass” on my property, but this is why I chose Husqvarna in the first place.

They really should use my machine as a test case to see how these things hold up. the answer isn’t as well as they thought. I would include pictures here but this website says the pictures are too large.

When we both lost our jobs in 2009 and couldn’t find comparable new ones we decided to try something different and purchased a bed and breakfast in Florida. The seller said he had a lawn mower so I left mine back in St.

Louis for the purchasers of our house there. The house was on two and a half lots, which is to say it’s one big mother. The first time I tried to mow I discovered that while the lawn mower I left was self-propelled, this one was not.

Being over sixty, after just ten minutes in the hot Florida sun pushing this mower I was exhausted. This just would not do. A new friend gave me the name of a young man who had a small landscaping company and I called him and he offered to cut our lawn for one flat monthly fee of $165.

00. At the time we thought our bed and breakfast was going to be busier than it turned out, so I agreed. It didn’t rain much, and Carlos was only coming twice a month to cut the grass and edge. I decided we really couldn’t afford to have a “gardener” at our current income level.

I rationalized at the rate Carlos was charging, if I bought a pretty good self-propelled lawn mower and cut the grass myself. “within 3 months it would pay for itself. ” The Ascent Up The Mower Food Chain Begins I sold the little “toy” mower I had on Craigslist and ordered a self-propelled mower on line from Home Depot.

It cost me just under $300. It worked great for three weeks. Then it wouldn’t start. I went back on line and read through the reviews, and now in addition to the ones I first saw when selecting this model, there were two that stated they had difficulties after 3 or 4 cuts getting the mower to start.

Yikes! I decided if I could get the new mower in the trunk of my car I was going to return it to my local Home Depot. It just barely fit, but I was able to transport it back to Home Depot and they were very nice about my returning it.

Why Not Get A Riding Mower? Now I was in this mindset where by using Carlos as my baseline, I could justify an even bigger purchase. If he charged $165 a month to cut our lawn, it would only take me a little over 4 months to save what the smallest riding mower cost at $699.

That was the case I presented to my wife. To my amazement she agreed and once again I got on line and ordered the next mower from Home Depot. The reason I kept going on line was because I don’t own a truck, and delivery was free on this mower.

When the mower arrived it came on a pallet and the delivery driver and I pushed it up the incline of my driveway and into our yard. I unpacked it and found I needed to assemble the steering column, wheel, and the seat.

Not a major problem, and done within about twenty minutes. With my wife’s help, we got the mower off the pallet and I filled the tank with gasoline and started it up. There was a learning curve and I hit a tree or two, the fence, a wall, but ultimately mastered tooling around the lot on it.

The only problem was because I had bounced it off of several immovable objects, the tires all went flat. I was able to fix them all with tire sealer, which in fact the manufacturer recommended in the owner’s manual to prevent leaks and dry rot.

I had cut the lawn four times and was on my fifth when I ran over a small rut in the lawn. The front wheels turned violently perpendicular to the axle, and because I was gripping the steering wheel fairly tight, a plastic adapter cracked.

Suddenly, I had no steering! I narrowly avoided hitting a tree head on. I called up the manufacturer, and the man I spoke with said he would send me a new adapter at no charge. I told him that I thought they should have made that part out of metal, and not plastic, and he agreed.

He said the part would arrive in about a week. A week went by and the part didn’t arrive. I called the manufacturer again and this time talked to someone else. The gentleman was quite candid. First, he informed me that he had no record of the part being ordered for me.

Secondly, he said that particular part was out of stock on backorder. Last, and most importantly, he told me that 280 other people were waiting for that part. Double YIKES! I concluded that this was an engineering defect, and felt the mower should be recalled.

Someone could get hurt; I almost did. Good Old Carlos To The Rescue After talking it over with my wife, we decided if I was going to use a riding lawn mower, I needed to get a good one, not a cheap one that put my life in danger.

Using the Carlos base formula of saving $165 a month, I reasoned I could buy a bigger and better riding lawn mower for about $1000, and have it “paid off” in approximately 6 months. This time I couldn’t take the mower back to Home Depot in the trunk of my car, so I called up Carlos and arranged to hire him to bring over his trailer and help me take the riding mower to Home Depot and wait for me to buy another one, that we would bring back home.

We decided to do this on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Carlos showed up on time and we slowly loaded the riding mower on to his trailer. Every few feet I had to straighten the front wheels with my hands, as we could not steer it.

When we got to Home Depot I went inside with the paperwork to do the return. While I was at Home Depot I saw an Ariens riding mower with a zero turn radius that was on sale. It was marked down from $2300 to $1999.

I called up my wife and told her this was what I really wanted, and that I had just settled for each of the other ones because of price. The Carlos Formula Works Again! Using the Carlos base formula of $165 per month in “savings” I estimated at $1999 for the new riding mower, I could pay it off in about a year.

Quite a leap from the first self-propelled walk behind mower that would have been paid off in just a few months. We got the new riding lawn mower home, and Carlos was kind enough to try it out for me and then teach me how to operate it.

It was fast and powerful, and unlike the cheaper riding mower did not require a complicated shifting process to change speeds or go into reverse. All I had to do was pull a lever on each side back to go in reverse.

I quickly learned how to turn using the levers, and how to get really close to objects in the yard without hitting them. I decided to post a review of the riding mower that I had problems with and got on line and gave a detailed report.

I explained exactly what part was made out of plastic and quoted the man who told me 280 of those parts were on back order. I ended my review with my opinion that a major recall should be down on that model.

A week later I received a telephone call from Home Depot’s corporate office. The nice lady I spoke with reviewed my report. I informed her I hadn’t given up on Home Depot and described my ascent up the lawn mower food chain.

I explained how I went from a $299 self-propelled lawn mower to a $1999 zero radius turning riding mower. She told me that Home Depot appreciated my feedback as well as my loyalty to their store. In appreciation she said they were sending me a $500 gift card! Triple Yikes! SWEET! I received the card within a few days of her telephone call.

Meanwhile, I have cut my lawn for the past year now with the Ariens riding mower and am happy to report I am completely satisfied with it, and have had no problems at all. According to my calculations, using the Carlos formula, in the past year I have more than paid for my new Ariens riding mower.

I haven’t had one single problem with it, and even after a year it’s still fun to tool around on. My wife says she’s just happy I wasn’t in the market for a new car.

Good: cuts fast. Easily maneuvers on flat ground. Bad: leaves a stripe down one side at times, usually in thicker or taller grass. Oil leaks. Seat slides at times. I’ve come to adjust myself while mowing so I don’t have any real issues other than the oil leak and I’m hoping maybe sharper blades will help with the stripe problem but reading other reviews I’m not going to hold my breath.

I’ve got about 60 hours in on 3 years in Wisconsin. I’ve used many mowers in my life and I probably won’t buy an ariens again. I’ll use it until it dies but will not be back for another. Sucks because they are made in Wisconsin but seems like half of them have issues.

I think it’s a wash between the Kawasaki and Kohler engines personally. I have the Kawasaki and it works good.

I always envied my neighbors mowing with a zero turn. 18 months ago for Christmas we got one. I have loved it from the start to this day. Like many of the people here, I did some research on zero turns and this one is the best bang for your buck.

I mow two acres in fast growing Florida. My new purchase is a head set hearing protection with radio insert. With this baby mowing is not a chore but my own zen moment. I have not hit anything to date thus have no problems with it and give it the loving attention it deserves.

After getting it home I had to make some minor adjustments and retighten some fasteners and put the proper air pressure in all four tires as per manufacture’s recommendations. 1st. cut found the emblem ( Ariens ) from the rear of the machine in the grass, it fell off and would not stick back on? Finished cutting the rest of the lawn with no issues but I noticed it left deep tire depressions in the entire lawn even though it hasn’t rained in several days and the temperatures have been the middle 90’s? Will check with customer service to see if lowering the tire air pressure would help resolve this issue or maybe larger tires.

The only other issue I have is there is a paint chip on the left side of the frame that needs to be touched up. Over all the cut was great, has plenty of power and is very well built! Great Job Ariens!.
