20 Best Turntable Isolation Platform (2022 Updated)

I got this for my Origin Live Sovereign/Enterprise Mk4 Turntable system. It works but, a tight fit. Auralex should have larger sizes. Overall, nice build quality, looks, performance and value. Cant upload photos.

Highly recommended for stabilizing your turntable. I was having issues with the turntable skipping and the needle sliding all over the record when walking across the floor, closing the front door, or the dog jumping on the couch.

This reduced the bounce considerably, and I’m very happy with this solution for the money.

I was experiencing vibrations through the cabinet that my turntable is on top of. I bought this and the vibrations are gone.

To be honest, I was thinking that the SubDude-HT might not even be worth buying. Again, Auralex proved that I was completely wrong! This dude has a superb build quality, and it DOES improve the sound quality from my sub-woofer.

I’m using it with my Yamaha HS8S. Highly recommended!.

Ok I purchased this item for my HSU ULS-15 MK2. After owning it for a week I can say it works. It has eliminated all the vibrations my sub was causing ,my turntable was turning on before at about 40% volume now it happens at 60%.

Thats at 170 wpc. The sub is a beast!! The platform cant do anything about the percussion being felt through the air and thats what turns on my turntable lol. But as for the vibrations I felt before the platform well they are all gone! So yes I would purchase again! It looks nice too.

I love this well built isolation pads. They are for subwoofers that doesn’t allow you to change the feet. I found it easy to position the pads where you want the subs to go, remove the subwoofer feet, then the subs slides easily onto the pads.

Plus the prices on B&H was much cheaper than any other seller.

At the price, I was sceptical but had an opportunity to see the stands used by a friend on some KEF speakers. I had recently bought Dali Spektor 2s, very happy (at the price point) but felt the sound was “muddy” and didn’t match the What Hifi 5 stars.

The Isoaucustics stands have transformed them to an extraordinary extent to the point where the speaker sound and particularly the sound stage is as good as the sound I get with my Dali IO4 phones. Worth every penny and great build quality makes them look good for many years.

Spent ages trying to fine tune my system and honestly it’s been the ‘little things’ that have made the biggest differences. These stands went on top of my atabite filled Atacama HMS stands and the difference in sound was immediately noticeable – not a placebo effect for sure.

Bit of room treatment later and I’ve got everything pretty much the way I want it. Just bought another pair for a secondary system in my bedroom to shore up some Neat Motive SX3’s that will have to suffer being genuine ‘book shelf’ speakers.

Well built and solid construction. Look nice and stylish. Easy Instructions for altering leg angles. An immediate change in speaker sonics, more present mid range and tightening of lower bass creating less boom and more bass definition.

A total change in my speaker dynamics which I was not expecting, well pleased and can recommend.

My hi fi system was, I thought, producing very good sound. My component parts were middle range items from highly respected brands. I bought the Vibrapods, for my cd player, more as an impulse, rather than with any great expectations.

The usual “tweakers ” itch. The reason was wrong, the result very much right. My cd player now produces more in the way of , clarity, separation of instruments, a more solid, but not bloated bass and an overall sense of the whole presentation opening up to reveal much more of the music.

So much from something so, apparently, simple.

Purchased a set just recently but they aren’t the first, I’ve been using these for years. If you own a turntable, CD or DVD player you owe it to yourself to try a set. I’ve used them under multiple tables with great succcess but my Kenwood KD500 really showed just how essential these can be.

In its current location the shelf it sits on is prone to acoustic feedback, this was causing issues with anything other than very low output settings. I put a set of four #3 Vibrapods under the table’s feet and problem solved.

I currently have four sets in use and plan on ordering a couple more, my man cave setup is almost complete.

I have been far too busy to devote any time at all to this product. They look as though they will work perfectly well. They look very neat and tidy in their bubble wrap and cardboard packaging, which includes easy to read and comprehend instructions.

I am pleased with this purchase and have every confidence that they will be fit for purpose.

If you care about sound quality then ISO Acoustic should be part of your setup. I started with ISO Acoustic pucks under my speakers (Wharfedale Linton) and immediately and clearly heard an improvement in sound quality.

Sounded more relaxed with more air around the music and clearer separation of the instruments. Based on this result I immediately ordered the ISO 200SUB for my subwoofer. Base became more tight and better integrated with the whole system.

My subwoofer is now invisible. If you care about sound quality, then you have probably already invested in decent speakers and electronics. Adding ISO acoustics will be cost effective way to help you get the maximum out of your investment.

The company provides a very specific guide to which model to use for which speaker. Guessing might be a mistake The quality is excellent. The assembly instructions provided and on the internet are helpful.

I personally experimented with the height adjustments and to finalize it I used a rubber mallet to make sure both stands were the same height, tight and not wobbly. My one complaint was that I was under the assumption that their heights were continuously variable.

They are not. You can attach tubes to the base or not. You can use a tube by itself (no incline/decline) or insert a small adapter or larger adapter or both of these (largest incline/decline) The product name is supposed to be in front to function properly.

Pictures are with tubes with both adapters. Highest adjustment thus raises the speakers more towards ceiling for better tweeter placement. If you want the speakers facing at a downward angle then you extend the rear of the stand.

No Vibes are Good Vibes.

I needed something small to raise my small Presonus Eris 3. 5 monitors to ear level to improve placement, focus and to improve isolation. After reading the reviews I decided on the isoAcoustic’s ISO-130.

I really didn’t think such a small elevation or removing the monitors from my desk top would make a noticeable improvement but I was really surprised with how much improvement it did make. Everything I read was true.

Tighter bass, crisper highs, better stereo imaging. I didn’t realize what I was missing. These little iso stands will improve any monitor performance and they look great, too.

I was looking for a platform or riser for my Center Channel to raise it about 2-3 inches higher without being intrusive and this isolation platform was perfect!! Can’t even tell its under the speaker, thanks!!.

Nicely isolates my sub. Be sure to lift anything you put on in it before moving it around or it will mar the surface.

This does a great job isolating a subwoofer from the floor. It especially helps if you find yourself using a sub on a tile floor (eeek). It helps tremendously to absorb reflections from a sold tile floor, hence improves the overall acoustics.

Definitely worth every penny!!.

Does the same thing as my auralex gamma with the same dimensions, but it’s way lighter and costs less. I use them to isolate guitar amps/speakers so the neighbors downstairs don’t have my floor acting as a giant sounding board above them.

I was going to make my own but for the price it wouldn’t of been much cheaper or would of looked as nice. I have 2 12″ synergy klipsch subs and have tile floor. Well depending on what I was watching or listening the subs would literally walk a few feet until the LFE input cable would come out or teh legs would rattle.

I added these speaker risers and no more walking or rattling.

I’m a big fan of IsoAcoustics after experiencing the Gaia IIs on my speakers. Installed four Oreas under my turntable platform and am pleased with them as well. They are relatively expensive as tweaks go but very much worth the investment in my experience.

Gets the best our of your equipment no matter how expensive. Isolation makes a difference you can hear and these are well worth their cost. I cannot say these made as big of difference as that company’s speaker feet as I did those first and these are the frosting on the cake.

But I do feel these cleaned the sound up even more. Highly recommended.

I have these things under my speakers, amp, preamp. They really do make a difference, the sound is more open, more transparent, better resolution, etc. etc. etc. I could go on and on about how much better the sound is but unless you hear it you still won’t know what I am talking about.

Get some of the IsoAcoustics for your speakers first then you will know what I am talking about.

I bought a JBL LSR310s subwoofer to compliment my studio monitors LSR308. I couldn’t really get them dialed in; as I increase the output from the subwoofer. The hardwood floor it was on would resonate the frequency and frankly was diminishing my ablility to get a flat response in my listening area.

I placed the GRAMMA under the subwoofer, and voila!; no more resonance, just sweet low frequencies enveloping me, instead of just my feet. It’s a bit big for my subwoofer, about 2-3 inches stick out of each side, but I’m ok with that.

I bought this item to put under my sub woofer on the wooden floor in my project studio. The room had a huge boost from about 80 hz to 140 hz. I believe in large part this was due to the wooden floor, and there’s is nothing I can do to effectively change that since the room doesn’t belong to me.

After putting the Auralex GRAMMA under my sub, I re-measured the room and there was actually a slight improvement. In this situation there was little hope that it would completely solve the problem, but it helped, so I’m happy about that.

I’m sure that the product works, but the amount of effect it’s going to have depends on the individual situation.

I have a little studio set up in a carpeted bedroom and setting my powered PA speakers or guitar amps directly on the carpet really muddies up the sound. These solve that problem and make all the difference in clarity and making speakers sound they way they should.

I think they are really expensive but I’ve never found anything that works as well.

Having read a lot of online hype about the benefits of a Gramma pad I have to admit to being somewhat sceptical of some of the claims but when I saw that PMT had the baby Gramma for £35, significantly cheaper than anywhere else I could find online, I thought I’d give it a go.

The Baby Gramma is 15 inches (38 cm) square which is the perfect fit for my Barefaced Two10 bass cab when playing it stood up vertically. My first use was on a gig with a wooden stage, which are a bass players enemy as they cause a ton of boom from bass cabs.

But I slid the Baby Gramma under the cab which acoustically decouples the cab from the floor (so the internet tells me!) and the boom had gone. My cab sounded deeper and clearer than it ever had before and I wasn’t having to fight any low end resonance for the entire gig.

None! Who’d have thought some MDF with a carpet tile glued on plus a bit of foam underneath would make more of a dramatic affect on my bass tone than a new bass, amp, pedal or pickups would??? But it does.

It really does. If you don’t believe me, and I say that as someone who thought it was all hyperbole for years, then try it for yourself. I’ve no idea how long it will last as it is essentially a block of foam (albeit a dense acoustic dampening foam) with an MDF top but I look after my gear so I’d hope for a good few years use from it.

Early days yet, hence only 4 stars: I need to use it in more varied situations to fully assess it. I bought it to counteract boominess from my bass rig when playing on suspended floors, like the typical wooden stage you get in village halls and theatres.

I have used it at one band rehearsal on a suspended wooden stage and it certainly helped reduce some of the boom. It would be asking a lot of a wooden plank with some foam stuck on it to completely eradicate the transfer of vibrations into what is essentially a giant cajon! This baby version is big enough to accommodate an Ashdown RM112 EVO II cabinet, so is going to cope with quite a few modern compact bass and guitar rigs; e.

The product it’s very sturdy enough to support a 1 x 12″ Combo plus an extension 1 x 12″ speaker. It functions well on wooden flooring by isolating the low end dispersion thus enhancing forward sound projection, ideal for bass players.

The construction of this product is great. It is solid and sturdy and really does work with reducing the vibrations. I use it for my surround sound subwoofer. It helps reducing vibrations on the floor but not so much on the walls of course, which is where the issue comes in with my neighbor beneath us.

I bought the Iso Acoustic stands for my Focal trios. They are very stable yet offer a softer mounting for my Focals which seems to isolate the speakers from any rigid vibration. I would highly recommend them.

The Pro-Ject Cork made a huge difference in my Rega TT. The felt it came with was always dirty with dust. The cork is easy to clean and seems to hold the vinyl steady way better than the felt. Get one.

Having only ever used felt mats (or no mats at all!) I was recommended by a fellow vinyl enthusiast to try out a cork mat. I have always cared about the pristine quality of sound produced by vinyl, and am always seeking to get the most out of vinyl as I can.

i am not an audiofile but i have been listening to and playing music for over 65 years. long story short ,the mat works great. could tell the difference after the first record, on my pro-ject evo turn table.
